Amy and Blaze were giggling like school girls as they walked through a beautiful flower garden near Restoration HQ. They were so distracted looking into each other's eyes that they didn't notice the wormhole forming in front of them. Both of them tripped and fell through it.

Blaze kept herself upright and caught Amy before she hit the ground. She pulled up the shaking hedgehog just in time for both of them to see the wormhole disappear.

"Are you alright?" Blaze asked.

"Y-Yeah," Amy nodded nervously, "What was..."

*POW*

Both girls jumped at the loud noise and snapped their heads towards the source. They looked just in time to see an explosion in the far distance, off in the direction two strangely familiar faces were looking.

"Crap," Ashes Amy cursed, catching the fireball as it returned to her, "That didn't go as far as the last one."

"The distance is still beyond impressive, and on target," Burning Blaze smirked, "Your skills are still a wonderful sight, my dear."

Ashes Amy giggled as Burning Blaze wrapped her arms around her waist.

"What the fuck?"

The two fiery girls turned to see their newly arrive counterparts gawking at the two of them.

"Oh...hi!" Ashes Amy waved cheerfully.

“Oh, okay. There are other us’es,” FOF!Amy said, deadpan.

Then she grabbed her girlfriend’s shoulders and shook her. “WHY ARE THERE OTHER US’ES?!”

Both Ashes Amy and Burning Blaze floated down to their counterparts.

“Hmm… I’m guessing this is another wormhole thing,” ATN!Amy guessed.

A bit dizzy, FOF!Blaze looked at the powered-up couple. “Wormhole thing?”

“Where one of us falls from a hole into a different universe for a brief period of time. Has it not happened to you?” ATN!Blaze asked.

FOF!Amy thought for a second. “Now that you mention it, Belle, Trip, Surge and the Neo Diamond Cutters did talk about something like that…”

“Oh, yes,” FOF!Blaze sighed. “Surge kept ranting about this ‘other her’ that was in a polycule, calling her- pardon my language - a thot. Frankly, I found it hard to believe.”

ATN!Amy gasped. “Wait a minute… that sounds familiar!Did that Surge happen to have Jewel as a girlfriend?”

“I… yeah! She did!” FOF!Amy realized.

ATN!Blaze chuckled. “Well, I’ll be. We’re actually a part of that polycule.”

“…you two are dating Surge?” FOF!Blaze asked in disbelief.

“She’s actually a delight once you get to know her,” ATN!Amy chuckled nervously. “There’s also Trip and Honey!”

“Honey?!” FOF!Amy exclaimed, while her girlfriend just looked at her confused. The pink hedgehog just mouthed, “I’ll explain later.”

“Actually… you mentioned Trip, didn’t you?” ATN!Amy asked. “Maybe your Trip is the one that encountered us on the hammock!”

“That could be true,” ATN!Blaze agreed. “Our Trip still hasn’t told us what she wanted to talk to her about-“

“I think we’re glossing over how Amy is harnessing the power of the Sol Emeralds,” FOF!Blaze interrupted, pointing at her girlfriend’s counterpart.

Both Amys blinked.

“…THAT’S SO COOL!!!” FOF!Amy marveled.

“Isn’t it?! Check it!” The flaming hedgehog floated up in the air, proudly presenting her fiery hammer with two fireballs circling around it. “When I’m not forming a tornado with my hammer, I can use it as a broomstick!”

Stars formed in FOF!Amy’s eyes while both Blazes chuckled.

“Not only that, but since I’m now connected to the Sol Emeralds, I’ve granted immortality! Same goes for Surge and Honey!”

The word ‘immortality’ caught on to FOF!Amy and Blaze.

“…immortality?” FOF!Blaze asked. “The Sol Emeralds don’t grant that power where I’m from…”

“They don’t?” ATN!Blaze said. “How strange…”

Before either of them could ask any more questions, the FOF counterparts were suddenly whisked away, and back in the Restoration in the blink of an eye. Their Restoration.

“Oh… are we back? In our universe, I mean?” Amy asked.

Blaze looked around. In the distance, she spotted Tangle chatting with Jewel.

“Well, Tangle has her scar,” Blaze said. “I think it’s safe to assume so.”

“Good. That’s… good,” Amy replied.

At that moment, both of them had the same thoughts.

Immortality… is that really a benefit…?

Surge and Sang-mi step through a wormhole, mostly out of curiosity. All seems normal at first, but both soon notice chatter coming from above them. They looked up and their jaws drop.

"Aw, come on, babe!" Scorching Surge whined, "That'd be so cool!"

"It would also be incredibly dangerous," Burning Blaze scorned, "This is a delicate mission. We cannot start burning things with reckless abandon."

"Ha! Maybe we shoulda left Surge back home with Trip then!" Heated Honey chortled.

"Oh, mye-mye-mye-mye!" Scorching Surge babbled, sticking her tongue out and stretching her lips.

Surge and Sang-mi gasped at all the fire erupting out of her mouth as she talked. Amy, who was sitting on her flaming hammer, seemed to be the only one to notice.

"Uh, girls? We have company," Ashes Amy informed.

All the fiery girls turned around and finally noticed Surge and Sang-mi standing there.

"Oh, it's the me with the tall sister! Check this shit out!" Scorching Surge laughed, fire erupting from her throat as she did before she took a deep breath and let out a torrent of flame straight up into the air. "This is the power of the Sol Emeralds! Pretty fucking neat, huh?"

Sang-mi looked at the flying tenrec, utterly awestruck before elbowing her noticeably less awestruck sister.

"Surge, can you do that?"

"No, I don't rely on gimmicks." Jade Surge grunted as she stuffed her hands into her pockets. "Unlike this moron, I learned my lesson from the dynamo cage."

"The fuck did you just say?!" Scorching Surge yelled, the blue, fiery tenrec suddenly face to face with her interdimensional clone. "Did you call my girlfriend's powers a fucking gimmick?!"

"Surge, calm down." Blaze urged as she placed a hand on her girlfriend's shoulder. "Remember, she's you and what are you really, really good at?"

"Getting a rise out of people..." Scorching Surge grumbled. "She's probably just jealous that she's not immortal anyway."

"Souds more like a curse than a blessing." Jade Surge said with a shrug and the eyes of the amycule all fell on her.

"How could it ever be a curse to be the guiding light for my people for all eternity?" Blaze asked, sounding rather offended at the notion. "It's not a curse, it's destiny."

"For you, sure. You live for others...but for us?" Jade Surge said as she pointed towards herself and her doppelganger. "I'll outlive Sang-mi and Jewel by at least a hundred years as is, knowing that hurts more than I could even begin to describe. An eternity of that? An eternity without them, an eternity without Drippy? That sounds like a living hell."

"Shit...Drippy..." Scorching Surge mumbled as her shoulders suddenly drooped and she stared at her fiery feet.

"You didn't stop to consider your little brother, did you?" Jade Surge sneered. "Too caught up on the hype of your new powers? That's so typical of us."

"Of us...?" Scorching Surge asked as she looked back up, only to find that both her doppelganger and Sang-mi had disappeared from view, no doubt sent back to their own reality.

"Wooooaaaaaah," Surge gawked, "That looks kickass!"

"You freakin said it!" Honey swooned, "Blaze would be amazing in a form like that."

While Trip failed to hide her enormous blush, Amy turned away with an uncertain look.

"It's...strange," she said quietly, "It's...not Blaze. But it almost is...I don't know. All I know is...I like my Blazey Boo the way she is."

"Well, duh, Pinky," Surge snickered, wrapping an arm around her shoulder, "But you gotta admit, this would be cool as shit."

Amy smirked, "But then she'd be cramping your style, Surge. There's only room for one badass looking girl in this house."

"SHIT! You're right!!" Surge hissed.

Amy just giggled.

A little while ago, three of my fanfictions managed to hit 1000 hits. I was so proud that I decided to make a drawing commemorating the occasion! Thank you all for enjoying my stuff so much :)

Everyone was gathered in the Restoration's largest meeting room again. At the head of the table, Tikal stood with a checklist in her hands, and she nervously glanced between everyone sitting in front of her.

"Thank you all for coming here," she said, "I know these sorts of questions might not be the kind that most of you would be comfortable answering, but I do really think this will be an important thing for all of us to know, should times get especially tough around here."

Surge rolled her eyes, "Just get on with it, Annoying Orange."

Knuckles glared at Surge from across the table as Tikal cleared her throat.

"O-Okay," she said, "Question one. Who here knows at least one of their birth parents?"

Everyone except Sonic, Bean, Charmy, Silver, Surge, Kit, and Trip raised their hands.

"Okay, okay, good," Tikal said, writing that down, "And, uh, of those of you who do, who has a positive relationship with your birth parents?"

Almost instantly Lanolin, Amy, Tails, Tangle, Espio, Blaze, Belle, and Shadow slammed their hands down onto the table. Jewel hesitated lowering hers for a moment.

"Does it count if I had a good relationship with them before they died?" she asked.

Bark nodded and jerked his thumb to Jewel. Tikal blinked, and just shook her head as she marked down Bark and Jewel under an entire new category she had to make up. She looked up to see the only people still raising their hands were Cream, Rouge, and Whisper. Surge particularly noticed the wolf's lack of anguish.

"How the hell do you of all people not have any baggage with your folks?" the tenrec asked, "You're life's like a walking slideshow of misery!"

Whisper grimaced at Surge, but shrugged.

"I guess I was granted at least one small mercy."

Tikal placed her paper and pencil down and rubbed her temples.

"I guess this is how a bunch of teens wind up doing more world saving work than the military." she thought in dismay.

Agent Stone, do you ever worry that Eggman might go too far one day? Is there a limit to how much you'll support him?

"Never. I have my full faith in the doctor, especially that he will keep his brilliant mind in perfect check!"
