Doing a quick google search for possibilities to look into (because my search results are more likely specialized for some of this weird nonsense): ‘Ilu having built his home in the desert (my brain says it was a mountain...but...eh...that could easily be any of the deities), some connections between Athirat and the desert (even though one of her names appears to be Athirat-of-the-Sea), discussion of Attar (not Attart, that’s the sister) being a desert deity (which doesn’t mesh with something I read about him maybe being an irrigation deity, but we’ve recently covered that I know Nothing I think I know so please look it up if you’d like to). Reshep has some connection to burning. I’m also seeing a lot of results popping up with the Sinai Desert, which might help your search.

For Googling: these deities have names written down with almost no vowel markers! Yay! The most common versions you can look up: Hadad, Baal Hadad, Baal, Haddi, Mot, Moth, Motu, Anat, Anatu, Antit (in Egypt), Athirat, Athiratu, Asherah, Attar, Attaru, Athtar, Reshep, Respu.

UPDATE: Upon reading the back of my newest book and going through it’s list of deities, apparently Reshep is known to be the chief deity of the underworld. Perhaps worthwhile to consider cthonic deities and ancestor worship? Rapiuma is a decent search term for that one.

Listen i have no problem with abusive mother but the issue is that mother character is barely a character. So i decided to make asherah abusive mentally no i'm not following vivziepop footstep writing abusive female character with bad writing or horriblly written. Make her realistic and i do take inspiration mostly from mother gothel Beatrice Horseman Claude Frollo. So i do liked the idea hell in hellaverse are prison for demon and fallen angel. Going on with this asherah visited hell or Sheol in this au Lucifer and Lilith still get married have Charlie. Asherah raise Charlie and she sometime guilt trip her angel children

mrfleshwizard i want rant about this person. What's wrong with people wanting to write where asherah consider lucifer to be her favorite son, because mind you a lot people knew Lucifer story where he is God favorite angel. So it kinda make sense Lucifer is asherah favorite children too. I have my like and dislike when it comes to asherah portrayal but like that's people right. One of the ugly truth people are always going to write what they wanted to write the best thing we can do is just not reading and supporting them. Asherah being the villain is not a bad idea, How many pop culture or fictional media where asherah is present? Very little. Beside asherah while mention in the Bible is debatable about her being yahweh wife. So if people want to write asherah having favoritism toward Lucifer than the others angel that is not a crime or she wasn't Lucifer birth mother instead mother figure that also fine too. I see the ask asherah as the mother who is sad Lucifer got punished i don't see any issue with that beside people following the Canon story and make some changes. It does make sense for a mother who have favoritism toward their children if their child got punished as consequence for their action they see that as wrong. Beside not every ask about asherah is her being horrible mother or terrible
