Hey just to all my fellow fat people out there: You are doing great and your body is amazing. I am tired of fat bodies only being depicted as funny, disgusting, frightening fuck that. Fat people are great and valuable and we deserve better.

the fact that most of the fandom hated on “hey kids! spelling is fun!!” in ME!, so she took it out of the song. then people continued to make fun of the song so much that it’s not even apart of the eras tour setlist. when it was the first single of lover!! and now it maybe won’t even be a surprise song. but i’m just thinking about the video where taylor was making the song and how much fun she had and saying how much she loves the song. and how it sends a good message not only to us but to kids. and then swifties start making fun of it and now it’s not like it even exists anymore? i understand some of why people don’t like it because of brendon urie, but it went too far imo. it’s such a fun song and it’s kind of like shake it off and it breaks my heart that it went as far as to make taylor never perform or talk abt it.

guys I'm nearly at the end of the shatter me series... 35% through Believe Me and damn just hit me how much I've been invested and how much I've read. I started reading the 1st book on 13th March and (now on 10th April) I say, woah, it's been an emotional rollercoaster since then. The series (for me) has had it's ups and downs but in all honesty, I've enjoyed the books and the little novellas too :) I'll let you guys know how I feel at the end of Believe Me and give a book by book rating <3
To all the Warnette fans, I am with you.
To all the Nazeera x Kenji fans, I stand with you.
To all the Winston x Brendon stans, I stan with you.
And, finally, to all the Anderson haters, I proudly, and with unadultered feeling, hate with you.

hey!! Im shifting to Pokémon and was wondering if you have any other stories about it??
I'm gonna be honest with you I shifted there so long ago and I wasn't as invested as I wanted to be so its a little hazey but like I'll try.
First of all when I would camp out in the wilds me and my team that I had ready to go would cuddle in a pile in my tent (I had a pretty big one cuz of my Rillaboom) It was very cozy and my team mostly go along so there wasn't really much fighting luckily.
I can't remember if I actually told the story of my date with Piers or if I mentioned it (I am violently disassociating and mind melting with someone else please bear with me lmfao). I asked him out after I won the championship. I walked up to him and was like "Hey so now that this whole thing is over and neither of us have anything to do right now.. Do you wanna get dinner with me?" Not gonna lie I fully thought he'd say no with how awkward I am lol He said yeah and we went to a nice restaurant. It was weird seeing Pokemon on the menu. Like I like watching those hypothetical cooking videos of TikTok but genuinely I was not mentally prepared to see my faves on a platter. I ordered a meatless dish for that reason. He did too which is interesting but like I didn't question it. We talked a lot, turns out a lot of ALT bands in this reality exist over there too. He hates Brendon Urie with a passion (Real) and we actually ended up going to a karaoke place before I took him home. I was mentally fist pumping the air when he said that we should go out again. I kinda wanna go back now actually lol
Another hee hee ha ha If Rillaboom doesn't like something he'll grab me and haul me off. Am I training Pokemon or is this Pokemon training me? /j

I read THROAM for the first time in ~5 years. Here's what I have to say.
Volume I: There was so many characters I forgot about when going into the fic. Pete, Jac, Spencers family. I cant believe I forgot them. Pete will always be a fave because everyone hates him and it makes me laugh. The first volume was always my 2nd favorite, I think it still is. overall, the storyline isn't complicated and I like that. Ryan is such an asshole so I dont feel bad for him one bit in any of the fic. Also, I used to say that the bus crash was Brendons fault (I was 13, okay?) But Ryan was just an unstable motherfucker who truly should not be trusted to drive a vehicle of any kind.
Volume II: holy shit. I hate volume two. Not saying the writing is bad but Jesus Christ, Ryan is an asshole. bro literally stalked Brendon after he ran into him at that party like what? I had messaged a friend after finishing volume 2, saying "I'm a really nice person I never wanna make people feel sad, let alone make a whole fictional story about someone being severely depressed and unstable whilst chasing a boy then fucking his bf at the end???" and I think that perfectly sums up how I feel (and always felt) about volume two. other than the fact that I used to say that it was Brendons fault. (I was 13. THIRTEEN) it wasn't his fault. Some parts were, yeah, but it's hard to pinpoint everything that happened on one person. at the end of the day, its a good story I just Hate it (does that make sense) I love it but I hate it? it remains my least favorite purely for the pain it put me through.
Volume III: I love this volume. I always have. Sisky is amazing, we all love Sisky. I will say the iconic song/album references/jokes made me cringe a bit, though. Im not exactly sure what about this fic I always liked so much, I guess you can really see Ryans character growth and finally not be as much as a miserable fuck (he's still unstable dw) Since Ryan is less insufferable, it makes the volume more enjoyable. I like that Spencer and Ryan became friends again, I think it makes the book more enjoyable and tbh I think Spencer rly tied vol 3 together, if he wasn't part of it it would lowk suck. overall, best volume cant wait to host the throam tour where we go to hotel Chelsea then machias.
final thoughts: if I thought throam was 100% good when I was 13, Id say now that I think throam is about 85% good now. (does that make sense pt 2) this fic has sent me back into being 13 and I have been blasting some pretty. odd. (im listening to it rn as im typing this) and listening to this album just makes my life feel more simple. still a solid fic, I think it would be an amazing published book. and I think we can all agree that it would be amazing to see THROAM movies (in our dreams)
Thanks for reading lol

saw someone on twitter say that mtl was normalizing pedophilia because of the whole dr. rockzo saga
although not liking the show is fine, did we even watch the same show? It seems like that episode satirized the sexual coercion between rockstars and baby groupies in the 70's-80's?
am i seeing things that aren't there?
"Dethzazz" is one of those episodes where, if you don't know the show, the creator, or rock n' roll history, the symbolism and the message get skewed and misinterpreted. Twitter is, unfortunately, the wild west when it comes to reading comprehension. Tiktok isn't too far behind.
Brendon Smalls has gone on record saying that:
He does not try to make Dr. Rockso good in anyway and is a piece of shit.
He is Brendon's Least Favorite character.
" We want to make sure it’s [Dethklok's World] still based on some sort of exaggerated reality." x
"We scrutinized everything pretty hard, especially in this third season ["Dethzazz" Season 3, Episode 9] where a little more concentration is on story because we’re doing a half hour now." x
Dr. Rockso is based off of Steven Tyler, Paul Stanley, Axel Rose, and David Lee Roth.
The people who are unable to recognize that either need to rewatch the episode or look up an analysis. The episode has never nor will ever normalize pedophilia. In fact, it highlights just how fucking strange it is, and that in the episode, Dr. Rockso's whole career came tumbling down after the truth came out! The world in Metalocalypse did not normalize it, they actually punished him way more than I think our world would have. But the exaggerated reality is that these type of stars do get away with it and their lives (While Dr. Rockso is much worse off now than in his prime) can still make a come back. The biggest exaggeration is that Dr. Rockso even got kicked out of the band or that the cops actually went after him. You're not seeing things that aren't there, they just have poor reading and listening comprehension.
You don't gotta like Dr. Rockso or even his arch in "Dethzazz" but I'm personally glad that Smalls was even gutsy enough to put that in the show. That shit is real and it's a part of the subculture, I'm just glad that Dr. Rockso got more shit for it than a real person.
And yeah, the show is about brutality and metal but even brutality and metal have limits. Look at "Dethkids" when Dethklok is ashamed at Toki's outburst about hating children, or how the group hangs around Juliette while Toki is having his own arch. Dethklok is full of assholes but they aren't assholes enough to sexually assault a child.
Don't listen to Twitter. They clearly have not done any research on the show whatsoever.
