Week 3 literally over a week late but yknow what? It happened and I call that a win.
I’m now trying to speed draw week 4 and the last few days to maybe get everything drawn by the 31st (!!) which would be a huge accomplishment for myself lol. Even though each week has been late, I’ve actually been doing them amidst so many personal issues and barriers to being able to create this month.
I am offering all these designs to book as tattoos, and I’m open to alterations too! Just hmu <3 promise I’m only fun scary
I will not be tattooing in December! I am taking the whole month of December off and will be back to tattooing in January.
Guess what!!!! I made my own prompt list this year :) gonna try to stick to it but highly doubt I’ll make the whole month through lol. I’m so bad at these monthly prompt challenges!

Here are the flash sheets from the event!! I would love to still tattoo these and will be offering them for regular appointments. My minimum is still $150 for regular appointments, so if you’d like to snag these, you can bundle them with more designs!
I will also offer alterations on the designs, and those may come with a price change, but I will make sure to work with you on it :)

Not to sound like a person who actually cares about children, but it's so alarming that there's this tendency and trend of not telling kids about their medical conditions that are in their charts.
I'm finding out as an adult that they (though it's not documented who) diagnosed me with a life-long, chronic condition without telling me when I was a teenager. I found out recently when I got curious about my medical charts, and otherwise, I would not have known what's wrong with me. I've been left with more questions than answers, and I feel like a private investigator investigating my own damn health and life.
Is this medical malpractice? Yes. However, I think it also speaks to a broader point of how children are seen to not be entitled to their own lives in any capacity, to the point where they are (intentionally or not) made ignorant about things that are or will affect them.

For those not tapped into Australian politics, King Charles is in Australia to conduct his "historic first tour to the commonwealth realm" i.e visting countries that King Charles is supposedly a monarch to.
Indigenous senator Lidia Thorpe had requested an audience with King Charles for weeks prior to this visit, she wrote countless letters to speak to him. Unlike other commonwealth nations and other former Brisitish colonies, a treaty with Indigenous peoples in Australia was never formed. Their land was never ceded to the British Crown. After being denied and ignored, Lidia Thorpe, draped in a traditional possum skin cloak, stormed in the Great Hall during the reception for Charles at Parliament House in the capital shouting the following:
I literally can't even look at these photos without getting goosebumps.

I wondered why green is so associated with hope and then I remembered being 8 and seeing a little plant sprout after a few days of waiting and. Yeah. I get it now.

Urgent Help:
Help my family survive and start a new life
Hello everyone, thank you for taking a moment to read our story.
I am Hazem Shawish, and I am trying to save my family from this war.
We live in Gaza, where we face significant challenges due to the current situation.
My family consists of 11 members, including my mother, two daughters, four sons, and three children.
In the shadow of conflict, our family has faced unimaginable hardships. The passing of my father, a victim to the cruel grasp of hunger and inadequate healthcare, left a void in our lives, underscoring the fragility of our existence here. My brother, Samer, battles bipolar disorder, a condition exacerbated by the ongoing war and the severe shortage of essential medications. Without access to the necessary treatment, his life is at risk, and we live in constant fear for his well-being amidst the chaos that surrounds us. These personal tragedies have deepened the urgency of our situation.
youtube
Every day is a struggle for survival, and each night is filled with prayers for a brighter tomorrow. We hold onto hope, believing that one day the clouds will dissipate, and we will find the peace we long for.
Our home, which was a sanctuary for us, was destroyed, forcing us to live in a state of uncertainty and fear. We have lost the laughter of our children.
Our entire neighborhood In Gaza Before and after
we had a supermarket that helped as to live and earn money, but it was bombed and we have nothing now, pic of our supermarket
We also face psychological challenges, as we have lost our father, and my brother Samer, who needs expensive medical treatment, is facing imminent danger. My mother, who has endured so much, fears losing another child. We are all suffering from malnutrition and contaminated water.
We dream of moving to Egypt to find safety, where our children can pursue their education.
We seek your support as individuals who understand the value of compassion and community.
Thank you for listening to our story, for your understanding, and for standing with us.

If you’re disabled and have to say no to/ cancel plans because of it and someone in your life has a habit of making it all about them and doesn’t appreciate that you’re the person most impacted by your disability, then that is a huge red flag and you deserve better.
Like if you say you can’t do something because it would make you ill, and they get funny with you and say that you must hate them because you never want to hang out, or imply that you’re just making things difficult for them, that’s not okay.
Even if that person is disabled themselves, it’s a huge red flag and your boundaries should be respected.

"the fact that i'm at risk of seeing a 14 year old's opinion at any time of day is a human rights violation!"
i don't know man, i think the real human rights violation is the fact that teenagers are taxed from their jobs yet unable to vote (taxation without representation), the fact that we're allowed to be assaulted under the guise of 'discipline', the fact that we get paid less than adults at the same job for the same amount of hours, we're allowed to have our bathroom access limited at school, not allowed to leave So Many Situations, have faced mistreatment and oppression historically for hundreds of years, the literal existence of troubled teen camps, etc etc etc i could go on
but yeah ok sure the high schooler who disagrees with you about ship discourse is the oppressor
