Some BG3 questions for you: Why the Jaheira dislike? Are you indifferent to Wulbren because he was designed to me dislike? Also, do you plan on doing a Distrust the Emperor playthrough at some point?

I highly dislike Jaheira because the Moonrise Tower fight with her is friggen impossible. (not really but you know.)

If you don't take direct control of her she'll run headlong into the fight and get killed pretty much instantly. if you DO take direct control of her there is no way to handle her inventory and stock her up on some health potions or something and she is VASTLY under-leveled until she officially joins your camp and you can actually pump up her levels to where they SHOULD be and give her more than 30hp.

And then her character is pretty brash and cynical but not in the fun way like Astarion or the endearing way like Garrus. She feels more bitter than just cynical but "doing it anyway".

And then you find out how she's been treating her children. And not even biological children but adopted children. Children she DECIDED TO TAKE IN AND BE A MOTHER OF. and that was just the breaking point for me where I was like "ok no fuck this person."

Also she was mean to Halsin.

Peek-A-Boo Champ!

So... when Jazz and her newborn baby were taken by a cult she wasn't... too worried. Okay yes of course she was worried about her baby in the hands of the people who knocked her out cold when they broke into her home and seem to want to use HER baby as a vessel for some evil entity to bring the apocalypse BUT she knows her husband's patrol routes like the back of her hand, knows when Jason likes to drop by to check on them (with maybe another bat or bird with him, he begrudgingly allowed cause they wanna see the littlest batbaby) and knows he and the rest of the batfam had been alerted and are on their way, she knows this. And if they don't come soon she has ways to get out of these bindings and saving her baby (no anti ghost things at all, so she's good with going liminal on them if need be)

HOWEVER Jazz stops when she realizes the summoning circle they're planning on using... and knows damn well who they're going to bring to this plane of the realms...

It's been a good long while since she saw her brother. And this will give her a chance to actually introduce him to his nephew/niece instead of just sending him pictures.

Jason really wasn't expecting, as he showed up to the warehouse the cult (THEY TOOK HIS WIFE AND KID. NO B, HE WILL NOT CALM THE FUCK DOWN, HES TAKING THEM ALL OUT FOR THIS! THEY'RE GONNA USE HIS KID TO BE A VESSEL FOR A GHOST KING) was using guns blazing, to find the cult members all frozen in solid chunks of ice that would make even Mr. Freeze envious of meanwhile his wife cheerfully chatting with a glowing, floating, blueish skin with star like freckles being with a glowing crown and space cloak... who at the moment is making silly faces at his kid and playing peek-a-boo (by actually disappearing and reappearing)

You know what annoys me most about Endgame (well a lot of things do), but most of all?

The way that it completely ignores what Natasha did. How crucial her actions were to the ultimate victory. Instead they tried to make Endgame into Iron Man 4, and pretend Tony saved everyone singlehandedly. Yet the truth is the plan to reverse the snap would *never have worked* without Natasha's sacrifice.

They had to have all of the stones to snap everybody back- and they also had to have all the Stones to snap Thanos away. Even one missing, and not only would the Snapped have stayed dead, but Thanos would have won a second time.

In truth, it was Natasha who saved the universe and Natasha who ensured ultimate victory against Thanos. Anybody could have snapped Thanos away (it didn't have to be Tony), but few could have paid the ultimate price for the Soul Stone.

In fact: let's talk about the Soul Stone. It was the most difficult and costly of all the Stones to obtain. I read that some theories that the souls of the Snapped were contained in the Stone, and so it was the key to bringing everyne back.

Meaning that Stone was also the one which allowed Thanos and his army to be Snapped away.

So again, it all comes back to Natasha, and her choice on Vormir.

Yet she didn't even get a funeral. The movie just completely ignores her to give Tony all the credit and all the fuss when he actually did very little.

And had to be emotionally blackmailed and tricked to do even that. Natasha was willing every step of the way.

My aunt decided a good way to wish me a happy birthday would be to text me a picture of me & my dead dad from my 22nd birthday.

Like yay thanks, I totally wanted to be sad and missing my dad on my birthday. I definitely wasn't trying to do the "out of sight out of mind don't think about sad things" thing to get through it without crying or anything 👍 Definitely wasn't already struggling missing not getting a happy birthday text from him 👍👍

#and like I get that her intentions were good but i find it SO rude #why would you bring up something heart wrenchingly sad to someone on their birthday? Unless they've indicated to you that they want that #it wasn't even like it was a new picture/one she could reasonably believe I hadn't seen before #we literally used a cropped version of that exact photo for his obituary #she has done something similar with EVERY SINGLE holiday since he died #fathers day & his birthday & thanksgiving & christmas all of them we got texts like “i know how hard today must be!”#like uh no i was doing fine til I got your text actually cuz I was blocking it all out & now your text has forced me to think about it #we're not even that close? Like she legit had never texted me before my dad died #and the last conversation I had with her was her telling me that me needing help with things was co-dependence #rather than a legit need because I am disabled #and that keeping my curtains closed all the time was unhealthy #and when I tried to explain sensory issues she said that she 'gets headaches from the sun sometimes too but you just have to power through'#as if that's the same thing as sensory issues from autism #(which she is apparently an expert on because she is a nurse and has worked with a few young boys with autism)#like literally she claimed she knew better than my actual doctor who diagnoses autism for a living #or my therapist who sees me twice a week (whereas i speak to my aunt MAYBE once a year)#oh also did you know that I should totally be able to hold down a full time job?#because the 18 year old autistic boy she knows whose parents do literally everything to support him and who has zero other responsibilities #and a huge support network trying to meet his needs #well HE'S able to work part time at the movie theater #so obviously that means that I should be able to work too because we're all the same #yeah anyway sorry rant over #it just really upset me #also because I was so upset I forgot I wanted to go to the park on my way home from the weed store 😔#beth posts
