there's yaoi vs yuri discourse on twitter (again) and I'm just lmao because maybe people would want to create more f/f stuff if a lot of the fandom spaces surrounding these pairings didn't cultivate such hostility and policing to everyone doing it in a way that hasn't been approved of by the high sapphic council. I don't find it a coincidence that a lot of the types that complain about this shit don't even write fanfic or make fanart, they just use ao3 stats as a metric for fandom as a whole and treat it like some weird popularity contest. as a lesbian it's just embarrassing and it's gonna drive people away from wanting to engage with f/f spaces at all

ill need to sit with season 2 a bit longer to have like full feelings, and ultimately i did love it, but i do think it would've benefitted from another act. idk if a whole other season would be good (too much space to go off the rails), but another 3 episodes. so many important things happened off-screen and Mel, in particular, kind of got shafted this season. i wanted more with her - before she got Black Rosed away or whatever, it would've been very cool to see her trying to sway cait away from ambessa and really set up their dynamic for later. plus more time for other character interactions and motivations (SEVIKA).
also zaun and piltover. it would've been cool to spend more time in the actual cities, with the citizens- i want to see them interacting. people in power uphold power structures keeping them where they are but the average person? they want to live their lives and i wanted to see more of that, esp after the fight. i wanted to see piltover citizens crossing into zaun to celebrate with them. i want to see the beginnings of the good timeline we saw and seeing those on the ground mending distance while the council holds to the power structure would be so good.
there were so many Big Things happening all the time this season that we were too high up to see the ground clearly and i do think another act would've helped bring that back into perspective a lot.

my fallen london OC! i made them by accident a few months ago and as you can tell ive very quickly developed scoundrel brainrot. it's a terminal illness for which there is no cure and the symptoms are instead of brain there is scoundrel.
in terms of actual character rundowns, their full moniker is The Bandaged Scoundrel, though i tend to call them "the scoundrel" for short. their real name is D█████, but they'd sooner die permanently than respond to or even acknowledge its existence.
they are! a bastard! a rat! a son of a b___! a motherf______! they are vain beyond your wildest imagination and they think they're the most infallible perfect being in all of existence and they have the exact attitude of a saturday morning power-hungry cartoon supervillain on cocaine.
and also, perhaps most importantly, they're Really Fucking Stupid. because of course they are.
they are resplendently awful. they are inevitably going to cause their own demise in an act of pure karmic retribution. they are a speck of dust in history that desperately keeps trying to insist they're actually a tornado. i love them dearly.

like i wouldnt mind like. Not having new linear games post 5 its judt that sims 4 wasnt even supposed to Be The Sims 4 it was a last minute pivot and the base code is so outdated and was broken On launch so like. i just wish we could have the final actual sims game be like. one that was always intented to be a major sims release AND be intended to be so long term . yk

Ooh major graphical updates whatever if sims 5 was announced and they looked photorealizstic id hurl i wouldnt play#it#my ideal would ig be sims 4 with a touch more realism style wise. if this makes sense#like its a bittt too cartoony for me but i like the like.
