The Final Stand is cool as fuck and more people need to know about this.
And while I'm here, I'd like to recommend following along with these two musicals as well:
All Fall Together by Arwen Wen, a musical about the Trojan War.
Caesar by Grace Yurchuk (I don't know if that's the actual title), which is, obviously, a musical about Julius Caesar.
I'll link all their TikToks so you can check them out as you please:
The Final Stand
All Fall Together
Caesar
All of these artists are very talented and I can't wait to see where these projects go! Please go show them some love <3
I am as obsessed with Epic The Musical as everyone else but is anyone else in anticipation for The Final Stand musical by Connor May.
It's a musical based on the story of the 300. I've never heard a musical about the Spartans and looking through the snippets, I'm excited for the quarrel between Athena and King Leonidas.
It's inspired by Epic The Musical and is still in the demo phase but it doesn't get as much traction. We need more mythological musicals!

HOLD ON A COTTON PICKING MINUTE
a name in welsh it may also be, but noble maiden is not welsh! DO YOUR RESEARCH PROPERLY
#lotr#lord of the rings#tolkien#lotr my other love#lotr arwen#for those curious it means 'good' 'fair' or 'fine' in welsh#or could be a female version of the male name Arwyn which means muse#certainly sindarin was inspired by welsh and perhaps tolkien even was inspired by this name in particular#but the meaning 'noble maiden' is STRICTLY sindarin#and not quenya either i saw you behind the name commenter the quenya wouldn't end with 'wen' nor would someone be going about with a quenya#name on the hither shore in the third age. Especially NOT a descendant of Thingol#in quenya it would be Arawende or Arwende or Arvende#or Artanis#which i just realized is a nice nod to her grandmother Galadriel. huh#smooth move tolkien#BUT#the fact remains that the harsh consonant end is almost completely foreign to quenya#if you are trying to figure out if something is quenya or sindarin#the simplest solution is 'does it end in a vowel or not'#the vowel of feanor if you will#that was a terrible joke#thank heavens no one reads the tags#tldr; arwen at the simplest glance can be discovered as Sindarin not quenya#again#do your research people#this took me under five minutes to double check cause i unlike some people usually try to check my information before i make statements#i might still mess up but at least i made an effort#anyway#yeh

(Notes on names and translations below poll. Click the read-more link to see, for example, why "star", "noble", and "silver" were used in options.)
I can't be the only person who thinks "Elf-man" is a terrible name, right? Like, I get it Elrond, your family tree is a giant mess and you're like half elf, three-eighths man, and one-eighth demigod, and everyone you know love naming their kids with the same first letters as their own name (thanks for that, Tolkien, I just love trying to keep all those Fi- names in the Silm straight), but maybe you could have broken with tradition and given your boys slightly nicer names? It's not like it's Latin, either, where most people have forgotten what the words actually mean; this is your everyday language here.
At least Elrond and Celebrían wised up by the time Arwen came along, though "Noble Maiden" still isn't very creative. I think Elves just might have something to learn from Mormons in this case.
Pictured: definitely not Jolkien Rolkien Rolkien Tolkien.
Anyway, translations for Elrond's family's names and where I got the names for the poll choices after the cut:
Elladan and Elrohir (Elrond's twin sons)
The name Elladan is Sindarin for "Elf-Man" or "Elf-Dúnadan," referring to his dual descent from both Elves and Edain (a name given to those descending from the three houses of Men from Beleriand).[15] It comes from the words el ("elf or star") and adan, singular of Edain.[16] On the other hand, Elrohir means "Elf-knight", but rochir also means "horse-lord".
Elrond (Elrond)
Elrond is a Sindarin name that means "Star-dome" or "Elf of the cave", from el ("Elf" or "star", interchangeably) and rond ("cave, vault").[17][18][19]
Celebrían (Elrond's wife)
The name Celebrían means "Silver queen"[6], from the Sindarin words celeb ("silver") and rían ("queen").[7]
Arwen (Elrond's daughter)
The name Arwen means "Noble maiden", from Sindarin ar(a) ("royal, noble") and wen ("maiden"). Her epessë Undómiel means "Evenstar", from the Quenya Undómë ("evening twilight") and el ("star").
Elros (Elrond's twin brother who chose to be mortal and founded Middle-earth Atlantis and was, for the record, much better at naming children than his brother)
Elros was a Sindarin word that meant "Elf of the spray", from el ("elf" or "star", interchangeably) and ross ("foam, spray").[8][9] The name came from the Quenya word Elerossë.[10]
And while we're all here, epessë:
The epessë or the "after-name" is the third type. The after-name is given later in life, but not necessarily by their kin, as a title of admiration. In some circumstances, the epessë is chosen by the Elf himself or herself. An Elf could be referred to by any of the three, but the epessë typically took preference.
Galadriel is the Sindarin translation of Alatáriel, the latter being the Telerin epessë originally given to her by Celeborn. Galadriel means "Maiden Crowned by a Radiant Garland". The name itself is an epessë: her father-name is Artanis (noble woman) and her mother-name is Nerwen (man-maiden).
The poll choices were created using this Lord of the Rings Elf name generator. I tried to make sure I picked the Sindarin options, in keeping with Elrond's family's clear preference. I primarily used the "meaning" option, but you could also specify "starts with 'el'", "male", and "Sindarin elvish names" to turn up a list of names like Elunaer ("Light blue bridegroom") or Elanorchanar ("Star sun flower brother").
Although the generator has obvious limitations due to the nature of Tolkien's conlangs, it's a lot of fun to play with. Just be careful or you'll next find yourself on the Parf Edhellen (Elvish dictionary) and from there it's just a hop skip and a jump until you're in a discord chat trying to figure out how to properly conjugate "knitting" or something.
Finally, just because I have always loved this paragraph, a quote from Bigger Things by Blossomwitch on Ao3:
Most people had trouble telling the twin sons of Lord Elrond apart. Gimli did not share this problem. True, they were very similar physically, but to Gimli the difference was plain. The one hanging all over Legolas like the Mirkwood Prince somehow belonged to him was Elladan; the one with enough sense to keep his paws off other people's elves was Elrohir. Simple enough.

What do you think MDZS characters at a LOTR convention would look like?
I'm assuming this ask is about cosplay, so here goes:
Wei Wuxian stitches up a copy of Arwen's red and blue mourning dress and dresses A-Yuan as her son Eldarion. Halfway through the con, they stumble across Lan Wangji in an ent costume. <3
Lan Qiren goes as Elrond. He is very tired, and also in charge of too many people. Someone help him; he shaved off his precious beard for this.
Wen Qing and Jiang Cheng both end up going as Arwen's twin brothers, Elladan and Elrohir; this is because Wei Wuxian was cosplaying Arwen, and Wen Ning was cosplaying Elrohir. Their costumes look similar to Aragorn's traveling outfit in LOTR, because of the twins' close association with the Dunedain.
Jiang Yanli and Jin Zixuan cosplay as hobbits, complete with furry hobbit feet. Jin Ling insisted on going as Bill the pony.
Nie Mingjue and Lan Xichen cosplayed as Sauron and Thranduil respectively, at Jingyi's request. Lan Xichen's costume looked like this; and he looked so gorgeous in it that NMJ couldn't stop kissing him at the con. By the end of the weekend, there were over a hundred Sauron/Thranduil fics on Lofter and AO3; the fandom never recovered.
Meanwhile, Jingyi went as baby Legolas with a tiny bow and quiver.
Nie Huaisang made a very good Galadriel. He's just that fabulous.

I Love You. (Hiccup Haddock x OC.)
Warning: Kissing.
Arwen's P.O.V:
I was walking around Berk with my Night Fury Crystal, when I ran into my boyfriend Hiccup.
"Hey Hic." I greeted.
"Hey Wen." He said and hugged me.
I hugged back and looked over his shoulder to see Toothless and Crystal playing together.
"I have something to tell you Hiccup." I said pulling away from the hug.
"Yes Arwen?" He asked.
"I know we have been together for awhile now and I know we have never said it before, but....I love you Hiccup." I confessed.
"I love you too Arwen." He said and pulled me into a passionate kiss.

snippet from a steddie as single dads fic i am writing! this part is heavily based on/inspired by the bluey episode cafe. Eddie’s daughter is called Arwen (duh) and Steve’s daughter is called Sam (short for Samantha). They’re both 6 years old and Steve and Eddie are in their late 20s.
-
“I’m Arwen. But all my friends call me Wenny so you should call me that! What’s your name?” The girl did a little twirl in her tutu as she spoke, and poked at the pile of wood chips Sam had collected.
“I’m Sam. Your name is so cool!” Sam went back to collecting wood chips after saying that, seeming unsatisfied with the small pile on the ledge.
“Daddy says it comes from a book he likes. What are you playing?”
“Cafe! Do you wanna work there with me?”
“Sure!”
“These can be the food. Cakes and pastries.”
Steve smiled at the ease at which Sam made friends. He missed that about being a child, especially since most of his earlier friendships at school fell through after the friends grew up to be total dickheads.
“Who’s gonna be our customer?” Arwen asked after a moment of the girls standing there, and they both looked equally stumped for an answer momentarily, until-
“Dad! Can you be our customer?” They both called out, smiling widely at the two men.
“Course, kiddo.” Steve said, and walked over to the small structure the girls pointed to as their table.
“Sure, Wenny.” The man smiled, closing his book and placing it down on the bench to join Steve.
They both sat awkwardly, legs bent right up to their chests from how low they were sitting, and waited for the two girls came over to them.
“Name’s Steve, by the way.” Steve said to fill the silence, and the other man smiled slightly at the slightly awkward tone of voice.
“Eddie.” The no-longer-mystery man responded. Steve opened his mouth to attempt to continue their slightly stilted conversation, curious about the patches sewn into Eddie’s denim vest, but was interrupted by Arwen and Sam running over to them.
“We work at a cafe, and you are our customers-” Sam started to explain, not seeming uncomfortable or scared of the new man at all.
“And you’re friends!” Arwen chimed in, and Steve and Eddie made eye contact for a second before shrugging.
“I’ll have one latte please.” Eddie requested with a smile, but Arwen frowned and leaned toward her dad.
“We only have cakes and pastries, so you have to order that.”
The man nodded seriously at her words, and pretended to think, flipping through an imaginary menu.
“Right, of course. I’ll get one chocolate cupcake then, please.” He looked at Steve after speaking, and leaned over slightly with a hand shielding his face to stage whisper to him, “You should get one too, they’re really good.”
“Ooh, okay. I’ll get a chocolate cupcake too.” Steve said, blinking harshly to shrug off the intensity of Eddie’s face being that close to his all of a sudden. The proximity had made him slightly nervous, but he couldn’t pinpoint why. Eddie was still basically a stranger, he supposed.
“That’ll be ten dollars.” Sam announced, and Steve reached into his pocket to find his imaginary money, only to be told, “Sorry, we don’t take air-coins here.”
“What?!” Steve gasped. He and Sam always used air-coins.
“It’s alright, man. I brought cash.” Eddie assured, and reached down to pick up a small pile of leaves to give to Sam.
“Your order will be out soon!”
And with that, the two girls ran off to go ‘make’ their food, and Steve and Eddie were left to sit there quietly.
“So-“ “We-“ Both men tried to talk at once after a few moments of silence, and then laughed as they spoke over each other.
“You go.” Steve offered.
“Was gonna ask if you folks were new to the neighbourhood. Me and Wen come here practically every morning and have never seen you.” Eddie said with a shrug, the question coming out like a statement.
“Yeah, had to move out of Loch Nora.” Steve admitted, and tapped his fingers on the table briefly.
“Loch Nora? Didn’t know I was dining with a king today!” Eddie gasped out the location name, bringing up a hand to his chest dramatically. Steve just rolled his eyes at the man.
“It’s hardly dining if the-“ He raised his voice to call toward the girls as they re-arranged their wood chip pile, “-staff don’t give us our order!”

Mdzs couples as lotr couples?
Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji - I can't think of these two as anything but Eowyn and Faramir, especially in the TMAAF verse where Wei Wuxian decides to spend his post-canon life inventing healing talismans and raising plants and children. Consider:
"Then the heart of Éowyn changed, or else at last she understood it. And suddenly her winter passed, and the sun shone on her. 'I stand in Minas Anor, the Tower of the Sun,' she said; 'and behold! the Shadow has departed! I will be a shieldmaiden no longer, nor vie with the great Riders, nor take joy only in the songs of slaying. I will be a healer, and love all things that grow and are not barren.'
And again she looked at Faramir. 'No longer do I desire to be a queen,' she said.
Then Faramir laughed merrily. 'That is well,' he said; 'for I am not a king. Yet I will wed with the White Lady of Rohan, if it be her will. And if she will, then let us cross the River and in happier days let us dwell in fair Ithilien and there make a garden. All things will grow with joy there, if the White Lady comes.'”
Nie Mingjue and Lan Xichen - I've been prompted for these two as Beren and Luthien before, but in my opinion it fits! There's a more melancholy vibe to their fanon relationship than Wangxian's:
"Again she fled, but swift he came.
Tinúviel! Tinúviel!
He called her by her elvish name;
And there she halted listening.
One moment stood she, and a spell
His voice laid on her: Beren came,
And doom fell on Tinúviel
That in his arms lay glistening."
Since Nie Mingjue dies and leaves Lan Xichen grieving, their friendship only results in heartbreak later on; but almost no one headcanons Lan Xichen choosing immortality after Nie Mingjue’s death, so Luthien he is. 😭
Jin Zixuan and Jiang Yanli - Sam Gamgee and Rosie Cotton. Xuanli just lived for being married after they finally got together, and they deserved to have all the children and cottagecore bliss they wanted.
Jiang Cheng and Wen Qing - Celeborn and Galadriel. I can’t explain why at the moment, but that’s the impression I have. 😂
Song Lan and Xiao Xingchen - Aragorn and Arwen. Xiao Xingchen dying for love of Song Lan is sadly canon 😭😭😭

Oooh this is interesting, especially since it contrasts my own guess for how Arwen was named - I was of the impression that she was named for her grandmother, as we have Ar - Noble, and Wen - Maiden, one part each from Galadriel’s mother-name and father names Artanis (Noble Lady) and Nerwen (Man-maid).
Especially since they can be contrasted some as the ‘morning’ and the ‘evening’ in terms of their color palette theming (Galadriel being golds, with some silver and Arwen themed similar to Luthien’s twilight, dark colors, some silver and whatnot). Knowing Elrond, it may well be a bit of both - he has the skill to balance the Quenya and the Sindarin after all.
I'm just thinking about Tindómiel's and Arwen's names again.
As I've mentioned before, Tindómiel's name seems a clear reference to tindómë, the Quenya word for the twilight of the morning or dawn, by contrast to undómë, the evening twilight referenced in Arwen's name Undómiel or Evenstar. The distinction between tindómë and undómë comes from LOTR itself, so it's not the relic of an early draft or a late retcon or anything.
If Undómiel = evening star (as it clearly does), it would seem to follow that the counterpart name Tindómiel would translate as 'morning star.'
People sometimes suggest that the meaning of Tindómiel mirrors Tinúviel rather than Undómiel. I don't think that works as well given the information in LOTR, though, because while Quenya tindómë and Sindarin tinnú are related etymologically, tinnú refers to evening twilight/early night, like undómë (in Sindarin, morning twilight is minuial). Hence the poetic translation of Tinúviel as 'nightingale.' So if either Undómiel or Tindómiel were going to be equivalent in meaning to Tinúviel, it should be Undómiel. That would even fit well enough with the frequent comparisons of Arwen to Lúthien.
But Undómiel is not translated that way in LOTR. It is translated as 'evening star.' Given the identical structures of the cousins' names and the nuances of Elvish terms for twilight in both languages, it seems more likely to me that post-LOTR, Tindómiel is meant to be a counterpart name to Undómiel, and that in-story, Arwen was named for Elrond's niece.
Tangentially, I think Tindómiel herself was likely named for her grandfather Eärendil, the morning star. But on the meta level, the subtext of her name's structure and meaning is to mirror Arwen. Tindómiel is born as the first of the mortal princesses and queens of the Númenóreans, where the death of Arwen, queen of the last Númenóreans, closes out the era of the Elves.
At the same time, while the evening and morning stars symbolically represent the inverse of each other, the reality is that the evening star is the morning star. Eärendil was hailed on Valinor as the "star in the darkness, jewel of the sunset, radiant in the morning." So both granddaughters' names call back to him and to each other, which I find very touching, actually.
I find it all the more so, though, because while we don't have any dates for Tindómiel's life, we know that she must have been born some time after the year 61 of the Second Age, since she is the second child and that's when her older brother was born. If her lifespan is similar to her brother's, she would live around 410 years—perhaps a little more, as Númenórean women were typically longer-lived, but I can't think by too much at that point in time, given the 500-year lifespan of their father. Tindómiel was likely dead by the year 500 of the Second Age.
The Second Age would last until the year 3441, another 2,941 years. Over a hundred more years passed before Elrond and Celebrían's marriage, and over a hundred more until Arwen's birth in the year 241 of the Third Age. By the time she was named, Tindómiel had been dead for over three thousand years. Elrond had seen the final wars against Morgoth, the rise and terrible fall of Númenor, the provisional defeat of Sauron, and innumerable nephews and nieces. Tolkien can't even fit the early house of Elros onto one genealogical chart and by Arwen's birth, there are numerous offshoots of Elendil's line alone. Elrond has seen a lot of people come and go, many of them related to him.
And yet, when it came time to name his only daughter, he thought of Tindómiel.

Questions for the wisest and amazing OC creator here!!!
Who was the very first OC that you can remember? Which Fandom remained closer to you till today? Which OC you wish to develop more but left it in the way back in your mind for years? The OC you wish can become real? The fandom you want to get into recently? The best OC and the OC you could change a bit more in developing?
*Sigh* you got one handful of questions here, dearest. But I just love your skills.
*Tackle Hugs*
Hi there, MY DARLING GIULIETTA!!
Thank you SO MUCH for barging into my inbox, it's always SUCH A JOY to see you here!! <3
so, without further ado, let me just dive down into all the questions you have asked me!
BRACE YOURSELF, BECAUSE IT'S GOING TO BE A LONG ONE!
1) So, the first oc that I created that I can remember was Elwen Anariel, the Elven lady of Rivendell, daughter of Elrond Peredhel and Celebrian, and youngest sister to Arwen, Elladan and Elrohir. I remember creating her around the year 2001-2002, when The Lord of The Rings - The Fellowship of the Ring came out in cinemas, and I was literally STARSTRUCK by it. I was SO IN LOVE with the scenery, the story, the characters (Eomer my beloved), that I was immediately enraptured by it! Needless to say, it became my obsession for the subsequent five years.
Here, allow me to share a relic of a bygone era, an old artwork of Arwen, Aldea and E(l)wen, the first original character I have ever created!
(i know it looks like crap, but I am still so super proud of 13yo me for just drawing this!! <3)
2)As for OCs I would like to develop more that I have left in the backburner of my mind, I'd probably say my Arkady Armstrong, the oc I created for FullMetal Alchemist when I was in high school. The way FMA as a manga and anime has somewhat shaped my way of storytelling and development of characters and character arcs (along with my INSANE love for the manga per se -like, ALEX AND OLIVIA ARMSTRONG, MY BELOVEDS) can't truly be explained, and when I created Arkady, it was the first time I truly felt motivated and compelled to do a crapton of research in order to create a multifaceted character that could ACTUALLY be considered almost canonical inside the universe of FMA. Unfortunately, due to all the studying and the IRL problem I had during that time of my life I never truly had the chance to fully develop Arkady as she deserved and as I wanted, but I don't discard the possibility that I might pick her up again and revise her!
Here, allow me to share an old artwork of her that I took directly from my old DA page:
3)The OC I wish can become real?? this one is truly AN AMAZING QUESTION!!
mmmmm.... I cannot answer with only one, tbh, I am truly unable to, but if I could make some of my ocs real, they would be without a doubt my Colette and Dorothea, because they are my most recent ocs and among my most beloved. I would also love that my JJ from "Pirates of The Caribbean" were real, because she was lots of fun and I honestly have some of the best memories connected to her! <3
4)As for the fandom I would want to get into recently, I have to be honest, I don't truly have one! I am quite content to stay into the AC fandom and don't move from there for the time being! If anything, I would love to revisit some of the old fandoms I have been into!!😂😂
5) As for the best oc, I don't truly have one and I am afraid I am not the best judge when it comes to which is my best oc and which one is the worst, because I love them all equally! 😅However, I can say which one I think I developed the most and the best, and they are, without doubt, my Dorothea Starrick from AC: Syndicate, my Nabyrie Leia Ondore from FFXII and my twin girls Grace and Veronica Caruso from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. These characters are, without doubt, the one I wrote the most about, both privately and publicly, and the one I can definitely say I did the biggest amount of research for AND the one I wrote for the most. Just for the Caruso twins I have 3-4 notebooks filled with notes, drabbles, sketches and whatnot, and don't let me start on Nabyrie and Dorothea! 😂😂😂
Since I am here, allow me to share an old picture of the Caruso twins that I did almost 5 years ago
And also allow me to share a couple of picture of Nabyrie, one that I did in 2006, when I still drew on paper and one that instead I did more recently in 2018.
5) The OC I could change a bit more in developing??? mmmmm it would probably be my Elwen Anariel, because when I created her and developed her, I was only 12, so I wasn't as thorough or as precise as I am now (and I am still learning a great deal, which is the best part of gaining wrinkles and grey hair *cries in crone* ), so, if I had the chance, I would probably change her more, and make her a more well rounded character!!
WELL, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL THESE QUESTIONS! THEY WERE A DELIGHT!! <3

i’m going to go ahead and make this a combination starter/plot call because i don’t have the time or patience to do one call and then the other
anyway, please LIKE if you want to plot, or REPLY W/ A CHARACTER OF YOURS if you just want a starter & i’ll either wing it or message you to plot if i have no idea
✌️
still in D.C. (in order of “dealing with this fine” to “not dealing well with this at ALL”):
ki yu ri-- ( 3 / ? with hardison, melody, yeon ) she’s not going to let these monsters take her down, no way. she can be pretty uh feral if the situation calls for it, which i believe it probably will. idk that she’ll want to partner with anyone she doesn’t know, but she can help watch your character’s back temporarily in exchange for food/supplies/etc.
peter pettigrew-- ( 1 / ? with john watson ) he’s a survivalist so he’ll be alright, but he will also ONLY be looking out for himself, so. he does have a functional wand as well.
martin blackwood-- ( 4 / ? with entrapta, chi woo, connor walsh, angelica schuyler ) he’s faced a lot of nonsense at the Institute. this is just. another day. he’s exhausted already. honestly you’ll probably find him in a zombie-infested library researching as many creatures as he can to figure out their weaknesses before making a plan to deal with them, all while staying as in-hiding as he can.
noah czerny-- ( 1 / ? with magnus bane ) he’s dead & a ghost already?? so he’s not really concerned about himself. he can probably do communication runs between people from different parts of the city. and he can carry small objects at a time so he can bring supplies to people. at the same time, he is worried about his friends, so that is a bit of a distraction
patroclus-- ( 2 / ? with cullen rutherford, will solace ) he’s fought in wars before. nothing like zombies, of course, and he doesn’t like to kill things if he doesn’t have to, so he’ll be trying to stay away from the main areas of danger if at all possible. i can see him getting trapped by a weeping angel or something.
yuri plisetsky-- ( 3 / ? with sandor clegane, lizzie midford, light yagami ) will be freaking out and angry that this shit is happening. can this city not calm down for two weeks at a time????? anyway, he really has no strategy other than “chuck heavy things at the monsters and run” so, questionable success in his future
orpheus-- ( 2 / ? with ko mun yeong, annabeth chase ) much like on the cruise, he doesn’t do well when others are getting hurt or when there’s massive danger. overwhelmed with worry for everyone in the city that he knows and cares about. he’ll probably try to sing at the monsters to make them calm down. it will not work
on the Island (again, in order of “dealing with this well” to “dealing significantly less well”):
wen kexing-- ( 1 / ? with luke skywalker ) his wuxia abilities, especially his qinggong lightness skills (like his genre’s version of flying, essentially) will be handy. he can also heal others by giving them energy, which might be useful. he’s had to rule over a gang of thousands of criminals for years; he feels pretty confident he can handle a couple natural/supernatural disasters.
wei wuxian-- ( 5 / ? with jin ling, kurt hummel, jester lavorre, jiang yanli / texts with vic weasley ) personality-wise, he’s solid in a crisis. he’s really creative and knows enough physics/engineering to be able to rig up some preventative measures depending on what disaster he’s stuck in. unfortunately, he does still lack his memory so he’s not as useful as he would’ve been if he had his cultivation abilities.
melanie king-- ( 3 / ? with glinda, jaina solo, bianca di angelo ) she’s not really about to trust anyone, friend or foe, to help her in this scenario. and she can’t punch her way out of an acid rain storm, etc, so... I’m not sure how well she’ll fare
pippin took-- ( 3 / ? with hallie parker, arwen, will byers ) on the plus side: woo, finally some adventure he’s been craving! some great stories are going to come out of this! on the negative side: he has very few useful skills or abilities other than the enthusiasm to live. he’s probably sunk tbh.

(I don’t know what the etiquette is on tumblr for answering questions asked in tags since I’m new here, so forgive me if this this a faux pas)
I’m glad you asked, @spiritofcamelot! There are several endings like that in Quenya, and we see a fair number of them in LoTR: -dil/-ndil means “friend of” and is seen in “Elendil,” literally “star friend.” -dur is “servant of,” and is seen in Isildur, literally “moon servant.”
As for whether or not these could be applied to oloranwë, there are once again a couple interesting options. The suffix -wë is used in several names, making it a potential candidate, but that leaves us with *oloran as our stem, and there’s no good word like “an” or “ran” which makes sense here. The same problem is found for -wen, the suffix found in Arwen’s name.
There is also, however, the passive suffix -nwa (though most of the time the suffix -ina is used… I think Tolkien only used -nwa for a couple words, but it is listed in the dictionary). If we imagine an a-stem verb *olora, “to dream” (a-stems are verbs ending in -a, the most common type in Quenya), though Tolkien never made such a word, then the term “oloranwa” would mean “dreamt,” the passive participle, making “oloranwë” into “that which is dreamt.”
I find this theory less likely since it uses endings far less commonly seen and words that don’t actually exist in our current Quenya corpus (not to mention if Austin did Quenya research, it was probably more superfluous than this), but it’s certainly possible!
Alright, theory time:
When the crew was interrogating Endellion, he called Suvi an “oloranwë,” saying that Finbar recognized it as an Elvish word. This immediately caught my interest because “olor” is a word in Quenya (Tolkien’s high elvish) that means “dream,” and because Kyana is a Kalashtar, it makes sense that the elvish word would have something to do with dreams. But “ranwë/anwë” is not a word in Quenya. So what does oloranwë mean?
There are a couple good candidates in elvish for the second part of the word: “ranë” means “wandering,” which would be suitably fantasy. “Rambë,” which perhaps is closer phonetically, means “shout.” “Rangwë” is perhaps the closest word phonetically, but it means “fathom,” the unit of measurement, so I don’t think that’s it.
There is also the adjective “anwa,” which means “true” or “real.” Now you might say “but it’s ‘oloranwë,’ not ‘oloranwa!’” To which I would point out that in Quenya, the -e ending is sometimes used as a nominal ending: we see “anduna” (western) versus “andunë” (the west) for example. So “oloranwë” could mean “dream-real-thing,” or, as I put more fantastically: “dream realized.”
TLDR: oloranwë means “dream realized” in elvish
