I love to draw. I'm not good at it yet, but I find it very useful when I need to process things.

I hate to break it to yall, but this is the last picture I have of Remmy. Yes, he is no longer with us. He was euthanized a few days ago and slipped away peacefully. We had to end his suffering because he wasn't very comfortable or enjoying life in his last few days.

I made some really fucked up art to cope and I'll post that later.

So some not so great stuff was going on at my house and I’m pretty sure I was starting to dissociate (I’m not sure if that’s what it was; I was still aware but my head felt fuzzy and it was just overall not a fun), so I started just scratching/scribbling/whatever in my sketchbook and then some part of my D&D brain went: “y’know that kinda looks like a unicorn” and so I started making into a unicorn and then some other part of my brain said: “let’s make it a real fucked-up unicorn” and so I started turning my unicorn into an eldritch horror and I guess the idea of an eldritch horror unicorn was just captivating enough to pull me out of the dissociative (?) zone and back into the “mostly mentally/emotionally present” zone. So I guess the lesson is that if you’re feeling fucked; draw some lines and make it into something so horrific/stupid that you have to put all your energy mental power into it.

I mean. It’s weird but it works kinda. So. Yeah.
