Here's a couple of arts I've been waiting to post all along! These arts were done for the amazing project TGCF Gotcha for Gaza Action, where lots of wonferful artists and writers along with selfless requesters and the super event organizers teamed up to gather money for Care for Gaza, the campaign took place between March 10 to March 16 and we raised a total of $3,626 USD!!!
These were the 4 prompts that I was assigned and had the pleasure of doing for this grand project, I've said this already but it feels amazing to be part of such a generous campaign, not to mention all the prompts were a delight to make! All @ listed here are twitter users!
First art was requested by @/rose_lee02, reluctant FengQing
Second was requested by @/deimevena, her adorable kitty cat with Xie Lian
Third was requested by @/nopommies, anything Hualian and a bit of spice is appreciated
Fourth but not last was requested by @/musinglotus, Hua Cheng pretending not to know how to dance so Xie Lian would spend more time teaching him
As much as this campaign is over, I'm very glad our strengh inspired many other fandoms to take the same initiative in favor of a Free Palestine, you can find a couple of on going projects on TGCF Action's pinned tweet if you feel like donating, requesting and contributing towards a very noble cause, make sure to check them out!!

👀 Tips and Tricks 👀 updated 12/31/24
Here is a collection of useful tips and tricks to spotting and dealing with scams and the blogs that try to share them. :)
Note: This mostly pertains to blogs that send asks looking for help/donations, but it can also be very useful for unsolicited DM's in the case of things like sugar baby scammers, art commission scammers, and what have you as well.
Let's get started shall we?
Tip #1 - Stay calm.
This is the first and most important thing you should do in any situation involving strangers on the internet. Yes, it's okay to be unsure about something at first glance. They say that you should always trust your gut. But what you shouldn't do is let that fear and uncertainty make you hateful or spiteful towards those who might genuinely be seeking help.
Tip #2 - Wait! Let's investigate!
That ask/DM someone sent you isn't going anywhere. They send dozens of them out every day to people, so it won't hurt if you take 5-10 minutes to do a little research before you decide to take action.
Easy ways you can investigate:
1) Search the username of the person who sent the ask/DM. - You can do this by typing their name in tumblr's search function or: https://www.tumblr.com/search/username https://www.tumblr.com/tagged/username
Was this new user called out by other tumblr users for using this same story on other accounts and/or under different PayPal usernames and/or as being a scammer? If so, it's a scam.
2) Check the blogs posts via the archive to see how old it is. blogname.tumblr.com/archive.
Note: Sometimes they turn their archive off. But you can enable timestamps in your settings to view when a post was made!
settings > dashboard > Show timestamps.
Did they just join a few hours or days ago? A few weeks? If they did and their first post was either their post looking for help, or they reblogged some nonsensical things like art or memes within minutes/hours of making their aid post, it's a scam.
3) Check the past reblogs of the pinned post they want you to share. - Does the persons 'real name' change every few weeks? (more on this trick here!)
If a user calls themselves Vivian in their current post as you see it on their blog, and if you check a past reblog 5-7 days ago or 2 weeks ago and it says their name is Malinda (but the stories are the exact same), it is a scam.
4) Search part of the ask via google and the word 'tumblr'.
- Do you find results of that same ask being sent by other blogs?
This goes back to #1. If you find posts on google by other users with the exact same ask or story, but with a different username or 'real name' ala #3, it is most likely a scam.
5) If someone DM's you, be friendly and ask questions. Ask a lot of questions.
- Do they get mad or frustrated with you if you ask them questions related to their issues with insulin or diabetes that every diabetic should know? Do they not know how to answer if you ask about Gaza or Palestine? (if they say they are from there.) - Do they try to change the subject? - Are they persistent about trying to get you to donate money? - Do they just straight up block you? (if yes, it's a scam)
Never send money to strangers who ask for it via a DM without investigating them first and having them prove they are who they say they are. Remember to reverse image search any images someone sends you as 'proof', and if it seems fishy? Report and block them.
Tip #3 - Stay kind.
I know it can be overwhelming when you receive asks looking for help when you might not be able to offer anything in return. It's also 100% okay to not know if you're dealing with a real person in need or a scammer. But please, don't go around reporting every single ask you get with a gofundme saying it's a scam or making posts telling others to do the same. This might wind up hurting real people genuinely looking for help from others.
Here is a post on why many gofundmes are not scams. by @kyra45
Tip #4 - It is 100% okay to block and delete.
In many cases when you receive an ask looking for help, it's usually sent with a sad story of loss, tragedy, heartache, or an implied since of urgency. This is not to say situations from real, genuine people looking for help aren't emergencies.
Just remember:
You do not have to share any asks that are sent to you.
And it does not make you a bad person if you block someone.
Especially in the cases of scammers.
If someone is being persistent even though you have told them:
I'm sorry I cannot donate money. I cannot donate money right now. I'm in no position to donate.
And yet they still ask you for money?
Or they insult you, gaslight or guilt trip you?
You have every right to block them if they cannot take no for an answer. No means no. Not later, not 'some other time.' Not in 3 days or a week.
No means no.
You deserve to be treated with just as much as respect as they do.
Never forget that.
Tip #5 - Help protect one another other.
If you see that someone has shared a scam, let that person who shared it know what's going on. Let them know how and why that person they shared a post from is a scammer, tell them the various tips and tricks on how to spot scammers, and maybe they too will do the same for their friends, and so on and so forth.
If anything you might even help a lot of other people not fall for a scam if you do share their pinned post and tag it as being a scam with information as to how/why in your post.
Just remember, Scammers love to change their usernames, their 'real names' on their posts and editing their stories around a little bit, and if people work together, we can help keep each other safe by making sure that others are scam aware.
----------
Thank you all for reading, I hope you all have a fantastic day and if you ever have questions about something you think might be a scam, don't be afraid to send me an ask. :)
Take care. <3

Hello Everyone.
I want to clarify now, Posts like these will be rare on this blog.
This blog is primarily a place to discuss, headcanon, and do general fandom shenanigans.
As Billy Joel might say, It's a place to forget about life for a while.
But given the current goings on in the world, I Will be changing my pinned post to this link.
If you're like me, you may not have much disposable income. So it's hard to donate when causes you care about pop up.
This website uses advertisers and literal button clicks to generate donations.
My platform here is small, and primarily for fandom fun times, and it will remain as such. As previously stated, This will be a rare post of this kind on this blog.
But I wanted to give others the opportunity to help in this small way. And use my platform to spread this resource.
This website has buttons to click to help with issues like poverty, women's rights, the refugees in palestine, refugees in general and the environment.
Thank you for your time and consideration. And I hope you continue to enjoy my mad 40k ramblings.
Edit: Slight modification, I've changed Only Post of this kind to Rare as I have reblogged some other things not related to fandom and yes they were related to modern or otherwise issues.
I still want to keep this place 90% dumb fun, but even dumb fun has to be sober some times.
Edit 2: I've decided I Will be reblogging the occasional help or aid or donation post. Probably one or two every few days. If you want to Only see the fandom stuff on my blog avoid/block the posts with the tags #not warhammer #not fandom and #not 40k
Thank you for love and support. And big hugs to my mutuals. They deserve all of it.
Edit 3: Navigation
To Find all my writings use/search with the #c u ckoo anon tag.
To find my art pieces use/search #c u c koo art tag
To find the Severe Miscalculation Storyline search the #oc: khopesh tag
If something is a reblog or answer it will be under #c u ckoo response
Edit 4: Donation Posts will now be tagged with #c u c koo donation posting
All these tags can be found on this post at the very end of all the others.
Edit 5: Featured campaign! I've decided that every week I will post a link to a different campaign below.
I will also try to link the reblogs of the campaign that include the verification if any exist.
Current Campaign.
The world Always needs more helpers. Please consider donating to Karim's fundraiser to help him and his family!
It's also verified by Gazavetters.
8,060 / 50,000
No action is too small!
Thank You
Edit 5! Also! Here's a link to a website that is filled with vetted fundraisers!
Edit 6! Ask box is Super full so it may take a while for me to reblog your campaign. I work from the oldest up.
I'm also trying to give the campaigns in my Dms attention every other day so please be aware.
Edit 7: I'm still reblogging campaigns, but now I'm going to work on them in smaller groups.
I'm going to reblog a Handful of DM campaigns, and a Handful of asks each day. Exact numbers might change day to day, but I'll try to keep them to the same amount.
I've got over 50 campaigns in my dms and over 500 asks to work through.
I want to do proper posts and updates when I boost them.
Thank you for understanding.
Edit 8: In regards to Donation Matching.
I Can Only Donate to a Few Campaigns every Month. And I Only donate at the End of months.
I have to make sure All my monthly expenses are taken care of.
The campaigns chosen are mostly random.

I’ve been gaining a lot of followers lately, so here are a few things about me and what I believe in before you hit that follow button.
1: The Jewish community is my first priority here. They are my people. My community. Therefore, antisemitism of any kind is not welcome here. Am Yisrael Chai, motherfuckers.
And because far too many non-Jews have decided to be dog whistling, This includes the term “anti-Zionism.” If you are not Jewish, or someone I know personally, or I see your comments and see that you are actually educated on what Zionism actually is and what it means, any anti-Zionism comments will get you blocked.
1A: this obviously doesn’t mean you cannot criticize or speak out against the actions of the israeli government. Israel is being monstrous in its treatment of the people of Gaza. It is reprehensible, and I personally want and yearn for a two state solution. I believe that both Jews and Palestinians have a right to safety and self determination in that land. Both groups are indigenous to the land, and both have a right to be there. We can agree or disagree on how this is achieved. I am for civil, productive conversations surrounding this. However, if you are not Jewish, Palestinian, or have family or community ties to either group, then I am giving you a lot of side eye.
1B: However, this does not give you carte blanch to go after random Israeli citizens. Do you go after random Chinese citizens for what the Chinese government is doing to the Uyghurs? Do you go after random US or Canadian citizens for their government’s treatments of their Indigenous population? No. Because that’s asinine. Same goes for Israelis. People are not their government.
1C: Hamas is a terrorist organization. They are not freedom fighters. They are monstrous as well. What they did on October 7th 2023 was the single biggest Jewish massacre since the Holocaust. They need to answer for that. They need to release the hostages. Simple as that. That being said, racism or Islamophobia of any sort will get you blocked.
Okay. That out of the way…
2: Sex work is real, valid, work and it needs to be legalized, regulated and sex workers need and deserve protection and workers rights like any other worker.
3: UBI is one of the best things we can do for people.
4: People need to be creative. And not everything has to be a side hustle. People wouldn’t need a side hustle if they could survive on their wages.
5: We don’t invest nearly enough in the arts and humanities. STEM is necessary too, but humans need art. We’ve been creating since before we had language.
6: best way to end homelessness? Give them homes. The data shows again and again and again that just giving someone a home goes an enormous way to helping them get back on their feet. It helps the economy, it helps the job force and most of all, it helps them.
7: Healthcare should be free for all.
8: Abortion rights are human rights. Abortion is healthcare. Abortion access is vital and necessary.
9: while I think that children are obviously humans and deserve and need more spaces where they are welcomed and catered to, adults need adult only spaces too. Kids do not belong at wineries, bars, concerts (that aren’t geared for kids of course) and breweries.
10: you are not a temporarily embarrassed billionaire. Wealth inequality especially in America is disgusting. The rich only got that way by exploiting the poor and the working class. Your anger shouldn’t be directed at the dentist who makes 200k a year. Your anger should be directed at the billionaire who hoards so much wealth, they or their descendants could never even hope to spend it all. They could snap their fingers and end homelessness, world hunger, etc. Eat them.
11: ANYTHING anti-trans will get you insta blocked. TERFS; go eat a knife.
12: our puritanical views towards sex and sexuality does us all a huge disservice. Everyone involved is a consenting adult? Go for it. Your kink may not be my kink, but sexual freedom and liberation are everyone’s benefit.
13: Everything bagels are the best bagels.

Note
You are my brother, we are connected by a strong humanitarian bond. Do something, even if it's small, please; we need you. We cannot ignore the call of a family suffering from bombing and hunger, and all we need is a moment of your time."
Here are some things you can do to help save us:
1. Share this message: Use every social media platform you have. Share the story in your "story" or on your accounts. It might reach someone who can help.
2. Follow the blog: Every follow means new hope for our family. Let others know we need support.
3. Help spread the word: If you can’t donate, be our voice. Share the campaign consistently and support us with your words; your message might reach someone who can act.
4. Use your creativity: If you’re a designer or artist, create something that expresses our suffering. Any form of art can raise awareness and help us.
5. Reach out to us: A simple message asking about our well-being or showing your support will be a beacon of hope for my children. I’ll tell them that someone cares about them, which boosts their morale.
Do what you can to save us, please. We are in danger, and every step you take means a lot to us. Don’t hesitate to take action now. Make your conscience alive for a moment, and be the reason for saving a suffering family

A group of Indigenous students from Cornell University are planning a four day fast from Tuesday, April 30th to Friday, May 3rd to show their solidarity with Palestine. The fasters are braiding ribbons to wear as armbands in colors of the Palestinian flag and to signify their fast. Leaning into their cultural practices of fasting and community support, they discussed how fasting is a tool for personal growth, collective healing and community building.  Rematriation’s team had the opportunity to sit with two Indigenous students at Cornell to discuss their decision to fast in solidarity with Gaza.  Yanenowi Logan and Amaya Garnenez are helping organize the fast and have emphasized its power in reflection, prayer, and community engagement. The students both also shared the connection between colonialism and the resulting weaponization of identity, resources and land. The genocide of Palestine aligns with the struggle Indigenous Peoples’ have faced and continue to push back against in this country.
[...]
Cornell University’s environment has long felt like an unsafe space for many Indigenous students. In recent news, anti-indigenous rhetoric has evolved on campus, including violent and aggressive statements online. Indigenous students continue to pursue action from the University’s administration on historical injustices. Many expressed frustration with Cornell University’s lack of action on Indigenous demands for rematriation of stolen land and lack of acknowledgement of its participation and benefit as one the country’s largest Land Grant Institutions.
[...]
Inspired by students at Brown University, Indigenous students at Cornell are seeking to reclaim their spot in the movement and connect their demands to their Indigenous identity. A group of students from different Indigenous nations at Cornell University decided to fast in solidarity with Palestine, citing cultural and spiritual practices as protection under university policies. This is a group of individuals who want to hold prayer with community, in solidarity with Gaza.
[...]
Student groups at Cornell formed The Coalition for Mutual Liberation and have begun an occupation of the University’s Arts Quad. “Liberated zone” encampments have been created on campus, a sign of growing support for the movement, calling for Cornell to divest from weapons manufacturers that are complicit in the ongoing violence in Gaza.
[...]
On the Coalition for Mutual Liberation’s webpage https://cmlithaca.org/about-us, the Coalition sets forth the following demands to Cornell University’s administration: 1. Acknowledge its role in the national genocide of Indigenous Peoples through the Morrill Act and its sale of nearly 977,909 of Indigenous land; return all mineral interests to Tribal Nations dispossessed by the Morrill Act; provide restitution for the dispossed nations; provide restitution for the Cayuga Nation; establish an Indigenous Studies department; and return surplus land in New York state to the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, the Lenni Lenape (NYC campus), and their descendants who have been forced out of New York. 2. Annually disclose a comprehensive account of its endowment and land holdings, and divest from entities, involved in ‘morally reprehensible activities,’ in accordance with Cornell’s 2016 Standard to Guide Divestment Consideration. 3. End profit-generating partnerships, volunteer arrangements, and other significant corporate and academic affiliations with institutions involved in ‘morally reprehensible activities’ including but not limited to the dissolution of the Jacobs-Technion Cornell Institute and all other partnerships with the Technion Israel Institute of Technology. 4. Call for an unconditional, permanent ceasefire in Gaza. 5. Establish a Palestinian Studies program housed in the College of Arts and Sciences, along with an accredited minor that is available to all undergraduate and graduate students. Representatives from Cornell’s chapter of ‘Students for Justice in Palestine’ must serve on the committees that oversee the hiring of the program’s faculty. 6. Publicly acknowledge and protect anti-Zionist speech, viewpoints, and histories in both religious and academic contexts. Recognize the legitimate and historical claim that anti-Zionism is not anti-Semitism. 7. Remove all police from campus, beginning with the elimination of police presence at demonstrations. Replace police with an emergency response team composed of healthcare workers and first responders trained in de-escalation. A majority of team members must be providers who share lived experiences and identities with Cornell’s diverse student body. 8. Ensure total legal and academic amnesty for all individuals involved with the Liberated Zone and related demonstrations.

All The Women’s News You Missed Last Week

This is a really excellent list of easy and actionable things you can do to support Palestinians that reach out to you.
PLEASE DONATE to Mohamed and his family if you can. No one has been talking to them, like everyone just forgot.
If you can't donate SEND A MESSAGE TO THEM. Remind them that we are here to support and care for them, however we can.
I currently have no income. I cannot help all the families I would like to, but I am doing what I can.
THERE IS MORE YOU CAN BE DOING!

Reposted from @againstapartheid.art On March 2, millions across the world will march for Gaza! As artists and cultural workers, we must join this global call and join the momentum that is building against the brutal genocide in Gaza.
Gaza is facing famine, its hospitals are besieged, threats of ground invasion in Rafah loom near, and Israel continues its onslaught on the over 2 million Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
The mass movement for Palestine has led to the isolation of the US and Israel on the world stage. With growing internal divisions and heightened political pressure, the Zionists and imperialists are backed into a corner. Our mobilizations in this moment can be more decisive than ever, and we must show our full strength now to ensure a lasting ceasefire and an end to the siege on Gaza.
Act now, mobilize in your communities and institutions, everyone must be on the streets March 2nd! All out for #Rafah! All out for Gaza! Stop the genocide!
