That one was really important to me because like, just because these characters don't experience genital pleasure that doesn't mean they experience no pleasure? There's so much in the books that hints at (or directly describes) them having heightened sensitivity, sensations that once would be local be spread through their entire body, experiencing strong sensual pleasures that to a mortal would just be average sensation or very localized.

And in a similar vein, no orgasm doesn't mean that someone didn't have a sexual experience.

So figuring out what could be pleasurable to someone like Armand, what that experience could be for him, how he could be on the receiving end of sexual/sensual attention- that felt important to me. And by proxy it was important to have Daniel explore because there's no way he wouldn't be curious.
