I don't always get the joke. Sometimes I take things the wrong way. Executive Dysfunction can be frustrating. Please don't assume I'm simple. I do have standards. I do have ideologies. Sometimes my ire is more than appropriate when someone is being rude, a bully, or just a dick.

I can act like a mom or a big bro. I may encourage you to hydrate more, or eat more protein and fruit. It's because I care, not because you're not meeting standards.

Sometimes I'm very quiet and have not much at all to say. It's probably not. I'm an introvert and need to recharge. Sometimes just sitting quietly together doing our own thing is as nourishing as chatting about all the things while adventuring about town.

I don't own any formal attire and have a bitch of a time finding business-wear that fits well. My "dressed up" is pretty casual (clean, dark or black jeans, button up shirt, and blazer) and I'm a little embarrassed about it, but I'm trying to find better clothes.

Small talk can be awkward. Feel free to ask the deep TMI stuff early on. It's easier to learn about each other now than end up heartbroken too late. I’m really good at oversharing, too. I often can’t tell if you're offended and being stoic, or just feeling neutral about something I've said/shared. Please be patient. Let's always be open and honest with each other.

Around me there is always inappropriate laughter, burps, farts, naughty jokes, cursing. If you’re looking for LT friendship or anything intimate, you’ll eventually meet my friends and family and will need to be cool with cursing and the occasionally rank joke or discussion.

I often laugh out loud in public places, even restaurants, and sometimes I send my food back.

I don’t do well in the heat so prefer shade or indoors but definitely venture out as much as possible during the Summer.

Saw people bodyshaming Tenoch on Twitter and comparing him to Momoa.

1. Just as we advocate for women actresses not to kill themselves for their body image for movie roles so should apply that to men as well. I would rather have an actor that can act than just look good. Whatever the actor chooses to do is their choice.

2. Momoa Aquaman was modeled after Namor. People can deny this all they want but its true. Aquman was literally a white human man during his first inception. Namor has always been poc coded.

3. DC vs Marvel fans suck. Just shut up about it.

4. Very glad I'm at a point in fandom where I can block and move on rather than insert myself into needless drama.

5. Stop pitting actors of color against each other. We still have generic pretty white man #2489 being simped over at any random time in fandom.

Since a lot of Zack’s haters are, indeed, Back On That Bullsh*t™ trying their best to rob us of our joy because the Snydercut is not only real, but coming out in less than 30 days, I have a proposal for my fellow Synderverse fans.

I’m sure someone else has already thought of this, but just in case it hasn’t been suggested: Is anyone interested in doing an online viewing party leading up to Zack Snyder’s Justice League release on March 18th?

By that I mean, would anyone be interested in taking part in an online viewing party for Man of Steel for Tuesday, March 16th and another viewing party for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (the Ultimate Edition) for Wednesday, March 17th?

Granted, I was planning to do this anyway to help refresh my memory of details I may have forgotten over the last 8 years -- it’s hard to believe Man of Steel came out in 2013 -- but I thought it might be even more fun if I enjoyed it with my fellow nerds through an unofficial viewing party. 

Would any of you fine folks be interested in that? I know time zones would be an issue, so I understand if people would prefer to watch them on their own or together with people who are closer to their respective time zones. I’m just throwing the idea out there to see who may be interested.

WE WANT MORE FEMALE SUPERHEROES

This is a rant (about a superhero movie what do I even expect from follywood) so I’m already sorry but after the likes of wonder woman coming up from DC, I had some high hopes for some well placed and well done inclusivity. But beyond the amazing graphics and the rugged charm of Jason Mason there was nothing. The plot line was about a man, fighting another man while they seek the allegiance of fellow men (with the exception of one fish princess) while men surround them. There were of course some token female characters with a fair amount of fight scenes centered around them. But their importance was only due to their relationship with our hero. There’s a mother who’s only purpose is to have a tragic story which leads him to be aloof and angry and wounded and rebellious. (surprise surprise) Then we have our heroine whose only purpose is

1. To be a sidekick to her eventual paramour even though she saved his ass and whooped some major butt and then

2. To guide our male protagonist tap his potential and ‘find himself’

3 To throw a little romance into the whole story and get that one pivoting kiss shot

Why is it that so many of the movies and stories and characters out there are essentially the same? There so many possibilities but GAH. Anyway my favourite character was the octupus playing drums thanks bye.
