Bruce Wayne

• Bruce would probably try to avoid you at first if he was seriously injured, he doesn’t want you to worry and he certainly can’t stand it when you show him sympathy for the pain he’s in. If Alfred’s not around then he’ll use you as a second resort, even though it will crush his ego a bit.

• He hates getting injuries, but he’s not really ashamed of getting them unless someone got away or someone got hurt that wasn’t supposed to. He’ll happily get hurt countless times in order to help people, no matter how often you tell him off for it while stitching him up.

• Bruce gets stitched up quite often, so he really won’t be bothered by the pain while you’re helping him out. However, he will try to keep up appearances in front of you to make it seem like he’s handling it better than he is, he won’t want to be vulnerable around you unless he’s known you for a very long time.

• If Alfred is busy, the wound isn’t that bad, or he just so happens to be near you when he needs to have his injuries checked at, then you might end up helping him out quite often. He wouldn’t plan on this, but he appreciates you being there when he needs it.

• Since the two of you are used to each other’s company and he prefers you being around, he’ll probably want you to stay with him for a while after his injury has been treated. In his earlier days of being Batman he wouldn’t have wanted company after an injury, but he’s come over that after it became harder to get people to leave him isolated.

Wally West

• It’s hard for someone to get a hold on Wally and hurt him, but when they do he’s absolutely defeated afterwards. He doesn’t want to admit it but he feels ashamed even when he keeps on a smile through the pain, you can’t help but look at him like a kicked puppy once he comes to you to get patched up.

• Wally wouldn’t be ashamed of the injury, depending on what it is, but as long as the injury didn’t prevent him from helping people then he would mainly just be bashful about it. He tries his best to make it into a situation he can joke about, mainly to avoid getting stressed himself.

• He is actually much more squeamish than you’d think when it comes to his own injuries. Fighting others and seeing their injuries is fine, but having to look at his own is a bit harder for him to deal with if he can get it looked at immediately or his adrenalin is wearing off.

• He doesn’t get injured as much as the others would, because of his speed he’s more likely to dodge anything that could cause him harm. But, he does come home with an injury every now and then to the point where it wouldn’t be anything dramatic if he did somehow sustain an injury. It comes with the job.

• Wally is pretty clingy, even without an injury, so he’d want you to spend time with him especially if he’s hurt. Once he’s all stitched up or his injury has been seen to he’ll spend almost all of his time with you until he’s capable of running around again freely.

Jason Todd

• Jason needs comfort even if he won’t admit it, soo when he comes to you to fix up his injuries it’s more so that he can receive comfort rather than relying on you to stitch him up. He has plenty of people that could deal with his injuries, but it’s you that he wants to spend time with.

• Jason hates to admit that he’s got an injury, and hates even more to admit that he’s in pain. Even if he is capable of being vulnerable around you and comes to you for help, he’s still going to have a hard time expressing it fully and asking for the help he really needs. If you weren’t around then he’d just stitch himself up, and in desperate occasions he’d go to Alfred.

• On the outside, he’d be handling you stitching him up or caring for his injury pretty well and may try his best to be stoic about it for as long as he can. On the inside, he’s in agony. It’ll take a lot of time and a big attempt to break down his walls for him to freely tell you how much pain he’s in or express what he’s going through at all.

• Jason tends to pick the tougher guys to fight against, especially those that have a lot of men working for them. So, despite his weapons and training, he’s still going to sustain injuries pretty often. Thankfully, the one’s you deal with for him aren’t too major.

• Jason is actually desperate for company, while he’s injured or not. And the fact that you’re willing to be near him and help him when he’s hurt gives him a lot of comfort that he’s been missing out on. It’s not often he gets close to people, so he’s going to take advantage of you being around for as long as he can.

Aqualad

• If it’s been established that he’s more than welcome to come to you when he’s been injured, then he definitely will. It might make sense going to someone more qualified, but his injury being dealt with by your hands makes him feel better about the situation.

• He wouldn’t be ashamed of the injury, but he would be worried as to how he let it happen and how it could possibly happen again if he wasn’t careful. It makes him much more vigilant about things after he gets an injury he knows he could have prevented.

• The pain he’s going through and how he’s struggling with the injury while you’re attending to it is going to be obvious, but he does try his best. He’s good at keeping still when you need him to, but will express how much hurts at the same time.

• This really isn’t a regular thing, usually he’s able to deal with the people he goes up against fairly well. Every once in a while he does come back with some sort of injury, but it’s definitely not a regular occurrence, especially if he has someone else that could see to his injury too.

• He does like you to stay with him once you’re done helping him with whatever injury he has, but that’s mainly for the conversations he can have with you. He’s mostly going to just listen to you talk, and it’s a nice distraction for him.

Ꮺ second chance ! — bruce is a man who excels in many things and one can say he has lived different lives, depending on who you’re asking. one thing he wished to excel in is romance, he has tried time and time again to be the perfect lover for someone yet that energy was never reciprocated back, unless for a hookup. not only that, his heart was never much into it when it came to all his previous lovers and he could never understand why. was something wrong with him? however, when it came to you, he felt that he gave his all, he felt himself pour more into you than he usually would with others. thus, the two of you ending things led to bruce feeling so much heartache to the point where he couldn’t handle it any longer. he needed to find a solution, a medication, something, anything to ease this pain in his chest. to think, the bruce wayne, aka batman, could feel emotional pain, who would’ve thought?

that pain led to longing, aching times of writing you letters, stopping by your job to see how you’re doing, looking through photographic memories, begging at your front door at one random night to ask what can he do to be back with you? he can no longer live a life without you and he genuinely doesn’t know how much more of this he can take.

Ꮺ you fell first, he fell harder — to grayson, you were of quite importance. you two grew up in the same neighborhood until his parents was killed, you two attended the same school, and you two were always at each other’s side. if people were to find dick, they could find you next to him or somewhere near him. as years pass, and your friendship becomes deeper, dick finds himself growing feelings. as a young man, he couldn’t shake off these feelings that sprouted when you were around him. actually, neither of you could.

feelings always arose inside both of you when you two were in contact with one another, whether it be on the phone or him taking you out to a nice dinner. when you spoke, he could find himself dazed as he laid his eyes all over your beautiful features. when you lay your hand anywhere on him, as simple as the touch would be, the hairs on his body stick up, and finds himself getting hot as the touch lays on there.

the same would happen with you except the effects of his touch or his presence wouldn’t be as down bad as dick is with you. the potential crush that grew inside the both of you had made the simplest conversation become a rousing feeling to your beating hearts. except dick feels like his heart is close to exploding when he’s near you.

Ꮺ childhood friends to frenemies to lovers — jason was sweet, jason was loving, jason was determined to be the brave boy just like his father. he was everything you dreamed and wanted from in a boy, since grade school you dreamed of jason todd being your dream boy. maybe it’s the crush, maybe it’s the crazy promise to each other that you’ll live together by the age of thirty if neither of you gets married. you don’t know what it is but it gave you the idea that you and jason will be stuck like glue till death do you part. a great idea for two grade schoolers but not for someone like you who was startled by jason’s behavior after being “missing” all these years.

either way, he was not the jason you’ve known and grown up with. this jason was coldhearted, brute, and didn’t have much care to be in your life, unlike younger jason. he came off with a cold shoulder and you came to the point that your friendship has gone away from his memories, you didn’t matter to him as much he mattered to you. at least, that’s what he wanted you to think.

throughout you dealing with and not wanting to accept this new jason, he was fighting with himself on whether he should make the best of your burned-out friendship to keep you from all danger or be selfish and keep your love with him, no matter the consequence you may both have to face. protect y/n and live with long-term yearning or protect your own heart and live in bliss with y/n? choose wisely jason, choose wisely.

꒰ WALLY WEST ꒱

Ꮺ unrequited love — the young man with so much to love but sometimes oh so clueless. he was intelligent and knew how to act in certain situations, making him quick-minded. however, he hasn't caught on when it came to catching hints of you flirting with him. which is strange for a man who likes to flirt with almost every woman in sight. then again, it’s the same for you when he tries to flirt with you and you just think of it as casual flirting. you don’t think anything of it since wally is a flirt, you usually just play on till you can’t anymore.

even when people assumed that you and wally have something going on, you would laugh it off and deny it. even if it does sting a bit to fake it and say that you and wally are friends, while you internally want something more. it’s not better on wally’s side either; his usual cheery and chill attitude dampers just slightly when he hears you say that the two of you are friends.

the situation of unrecognized unrequited love has both of you two’s hearts aching for one another. You don’t how long you can last by being “just friends” with wally and wally doesn’t know how long he’ll last by pretending that this crush isn’t eating him alive. as for now, friends till one confesses.

꒰ KALDUR’AHM ꒱

Ꮺ everyone sees it but them — oh kaldur, the handsome blonde man with facial features that’ll make the angels sing and a personality that could make anyone want to marry him. he’s extremely kind, soft-hearted, caring, has great leadership skills, and has everything that just screams he needs to be in your life. well, he is, as your friend, a close friend.

you two grew up together training in the young justice league and became close after one mission that almost cost you your life. he was there, by your side taking care of you and keeping watch until you completely healed. ever since then, you two has been stuck to the hip, unintentionally, and neither of you seems to mind. even when your teammates make lil comments, “look at the lovely couple” “aww when’s the wedding?” “there goes couple of the year”. you usually roll your eyes at the comments and go about your day with kaldur.

however, maybe the comments meant something; seeing as the way kaldur’s smile grows when you’re explaining something, your laughter that brings a sort of bliss to your ears. it also doesn’t help that konnor and wally notices the way kaldur lets his hand linger on yours until they’re intertwined, or the way your cheeks are so prominent when kaldur is around, and the loving expression that is present. your cheeks rise, a smile displayed, and your eyes tie it all into your facial expression potentially screaming, “I’m in love.”

but of course, the signals that everyone around notices, you two seem oblivious to notice. even when they try to point it out to either of you, you just use the excuse, “so, we’re friends. do friends not do that?” friends…right right, of course, friends!

Yes, it's currently 00:50, don't question me, I can't sleep if I have ideas. Feel free to add if you have thoughts

Superboy is a little chubby

With his broad shoulders, toned arms and black T-Shirt stretching over his chest, he definitely has the build of a superhero, he knows that.

But then he is standing in the changing rooms at mount justice, looking around.

There is Beast Boy, who has barely hit puberty, but then again, do boys who shapeshift into animals hit puberty?

La'gaan, with his swimmer build, but you can't really compare your human looking body to a fish guy, can you?

Impulse, who, how old is he anyway? He can't be older than Nightwing when they rescued him from Cadmus, so 12-14 ... maybe? Either way the boy looks underfed no matter how much he eats, rips protruding, stomach flat, almost sickly looking, still the amount of energy he has tells a different story, so he's probably fine ... right?

Then there's Blue Beetle, he is about as old as Connor's body. His build is lean, promising a growth spurt at some point in the future. His muscles are still growing, due to Scarab using the nutrients food gives him to sustain itself.

And then there are the two boys, men, who would probably even make Superman self-conscious.

Aqualand, with his swimmer build, broad shoulders, toned muscle, eel tattoos winding down his arms. There are his strong thighs, used to quickly moving him through the dense depths of the ocean.

And Nightwing, who due to growing up in the circus and then training under Batman, only grew into the lithe acrobat build he was blessed with, body under his suit nothing but bones and muscles, scars painted over them like an artwork.

And then there is him, Superboy, broad shoulders and toned arms, but that's it. He doesn't have thighs that can push him though the water at Atlantian speed like Kaldur'ahm. He didn't have to work out a single day of his life like Nightwing, giving him the build of someone who can jump off a 5 story building and still land gracefully on the pavement underneath.

No all he has is a layer of fat, covering the abs that Superman is showing off so proudly, in his skin tight suit.

In the end he was still half human DNA, the Kryptonian half enabling him to have super strength, but still having to work in order to look like all the superheroes who walk around the Watchtower.

Okay I was reading this one post from @yandere-wishes when they were talking about Garth (who is so underrated) and I am just thinking…

How to darlings of Atlanteans breathe underwater and withstand the pressure of deep water?

Like the first thing that came to mind was one of the old animated Barbie movies I watched when I was little, where it is something they eat or drink that allows them to breathe underwater, albeit temporarily, but like that does not last forever.

Or could it be something with architecture where they really can’t go outside where they are kept because otherwise they’ll drown, like certain buildings or rooms have pockets of air for them to breathe but outside of that they are screwed.

But like just a thought though, they don’t really need to worry about their darlings running away because is they even try they are pretty screwed over if they don’t end up dying.

Also the sea is pretty deadly outside of not being able to breathe, so the threat of certain animals is enough to keep them in line.

A/N + the lack of kaldur x reader work is criminal and i decided to be a law abiding citizen cause have you seen that man. also an apology for the lack of work because the brain juices are not flowing and my writing right now makes me want to scream.

"Why do you smoke?"

She glances at him, burning cigarette hanging on her lips as she struggles with the metal lighter in her hands.

Her response is barely legible, muffled by her multitasking on keeping the cig off the floor and getting the rusty thing in her hands to work.

"Because."

Kaldur watches as the lighter finally offers enough of a spark to start a flame, and she brings it up to the end of her cigarette.

"Because?"

She takes in a deep puff, facing away to watch the smoke disappear into the air before she turns to grin at Kaldur, leaning to bump her head against his shoulder playfully.

"Just cus'."

As she leans away to take another puff, staring off into the horizon, where the sea meets the setting sunset, Kaldur's staring at her. 

"I hear smoking is harmful to humans."

She hums in response.

"So why do you smoke despite knowing that?" He asks curiously.

________ takes another puff, holding the smoking cig off her lips between her index and middle finger as she turns to Kaldur.

"Hm..." She sighs deeply, lips settling into a small smile as she thinks, before she's back to staring off in the distance.

"Don't know. All the oldies I know did when they got stressed- so maybe that's why."

She glances at him. "Is that the answer you wanted?"

"You understand the possibility of disease or death, yet continue to smoke." Kaldur sighs, looking at the sea for a brief moment before his eyes are back on her.

"Do you not fear the possibility of dying that may come from it?"

She blinks at him, dark eyes flitting over his face before her smile returns and her head's tilted at him once again.

"That's just a bonus." She chuckles, nudging his shoulder with hers before she's shuffling her way off the floor. "You worry too much."

Kaldur sighs as he mirrors her, standing up to watch her take another puff.

"I worry because you are a friend."

Before she can respond, the cave door opens, Robin's laughter and Wally's whines drawing closer has her quickly chucking the cigarette to the floor and smashing it into the floor with her boot quickly before she's grabbing it off the floor.

Kaldur raises his eyebrow at her.

"I thought you don't mind people knowing you smoke." He asks in a whisper.

"I don't." She clarifies in a whisper of her own. "But I don't need any of the idiots on this team tryna' look cool and copy me."

Green eyes widen at her face for a moment, before a playful smile settles on Kaldur's face.

"So, you do like us."

She glances at his slightly smug expression before she lets out a laugh, tilting her head at him with a grin.

"I like you guys enough to not become the reason one of you dies of lung cancer or somethin' stupid."

An gloved hand reaches up to pat his cheek as she takes a step closer to him, and Kaldur's face heats up under her watchful eyes.

"Especially you, shark boy- can't have a pretty face like you die too young." She teases. 

With one final pat leaving an flustered Kaldur and nearing Robin and Kid Flash, she's walking away with a smile.

I find it kind of funny that Aqualad and Kid Flash have a rivalry. Aqualad grew up (from what little i understand) practically as Aquaman's foundling. He has no friends besides his father figure and millions of fish and sea creatures. Wally West had a normal childhood, raised by two loving parents in a small town apparently in the Nebraska area (the DC wiki said Blue Valley was Nebraska, I think. But I always pegged it for missouri, like Central City). But y'know... I think I can understand why they'd be jealous of each other now. They might be envious of each other's lives. Huh. Wow. I think I accidentally put more thought into this than even Bob Haney did when he started their little rivalry. But I can't say that for sure. He's dead now, and I can't ask him. Jason Todd

Jason isn't going to have a big reaction when you tell him about your interest in fashion, but this doesn't mean he doesn't like hearing about it. He's actually more supportive than you would expect and tries his best to listen and be helpful in any way that he can when he has the time.

If you ever show Jason your designs, he will be pretty vocal about what he thinks. He's comfortable enough around you to be brutally honest, so don't take anything he says as offensive, he's just being blunt.

Jason finds peace in watching you make things, no matter what it is or how long it takes you. There's a kind of peace he finds in seeing you settled and enjoying a hobby or interest, especially if you end up with a job which surrounds this.

Jason would mainly watch you when you're making clothes rather than actively joining in, and he will go out of his way to ask questions just to keep even a little bit of your attention fixated on him. He's going to be the one to walk behind you in the store to hold all of the fabric you're going to buy, and luckily he's big and strong enough to carry any amount you want.

Since you know Jason so well, you'd definitely have an idea of the type of things he likes to wear - including his outfit when he's Red Hood. He'll let you know the specifics of what he's looking for, and will happily wear your designs as a way to feel closer to you when he's away from you on patrol.

Aqualad

He's always going to be interested in any hobby you may have. He'll listen and even ask to see things that you've designed or made when you first mention what you do just to hear you talk about it more.

You're not going to get a huge reaction out of him, so don't expect anything explosive or loud, but you can see the way he enjoys your designs by the look on his face. Even if the two of you aren't in an established relationship yet, he'd be proud of anything you've gone out of your way to make.

He’s going to watch you constantly when you’re making or designing things, not necessarily as he’s trying to get in your way but just because he wants your company. He likes seeing you concentrate, and even if you’re too busy doing something else instead of giving him your attention he won’t mind.

He may not know what he’s doing at first, but he’s usually pretty quick to figure it out. Whether you need him to help hold fabrics, pin things out simply go out to get you more mediums to create designs he’s going to be more than happy to help out in any way he can to make things as easy as possible for you.

He wouldn’t just wear your designs, he would absolutely wear them as much as possible with pride. Even if they were the most simple of creations, he’d create quite a collection of just the things you make for him.

Wally West

Wally is going to be very enthusiastic about the fact that you make fashion designs. He may not know much about it, but he’s always supportive and excited about any interest of yours.

Any time he sees your designs he’s going to be looking at them with great detail. He may even spend quite a lot of time just looking through them casually just to see what you’re up to and to see what direction you like to take your designs.

All he can do is try and grab your attention, even if you’re constantly giving to him he’s still going to crave it. Because of this, he’ll hang around you while you make designs like a stroppy cat, pushing around your materials until you finally catch him.

He would try his best, but he probably wouldn’t be too helpful if you’re trying to get some serious designs out while he’s helping. It would be much easier for him to help if you turn it into something playful, more so just a way to spend time together.

If you were going to design something for him then he would probably ask for something a bit more extravagant for his suit just to make a show of it. He would also wear your simpler designs, but he likes to be a bit playful with things.

Young Justice Headcanons #1

Don't mind be posting this in German lesson, we are watching Christmas movies and this idea came over me. (The idea doesn't have anything to do with Christmas, I just hate them and didn't pay attention)

When Altantians sing it sounds something like gregorian throat singing.

The first time they heard it they were on a mission, Wally got hit while trying to contain the villain of the week. The wound wasn't deep, it didn't bleed much, but it hurt like a bitch. On the way back in the Bioship KF was laying in the back on a bench clutching his side, groaning every time a gust of wind shook the ship. After a particularly bad turbulence that had Wally wailing in pain, Kaldur'ahm stood and moved to the back, sitting down and taking Wally's head into his lap. After a while the others started to hear something akin to humming through the mind link, looking back they saw Wally seemingly asleep in Kaldur'ahm's lap. Kal was leaning against the wall, fingers raking through Wally's hair, eyes closed and head tipped back a bit, the angle together with the slight movement of his head from side to side gives a view of his gills fluttering in beat with the humming they can still hear in their heads.

The second time was after the weekend when the cave was empty, everyone was with their families, Connor and M'gann were on a date. Artemis, Robin and Roy just came back from Gotham, walking through the sitting and living area to the kitchen when they heard it again. The humming from a few weeks ago, but this time it seemed to vibrate in the air. Silently they creeped closer to the kitchen from where it seemed to originate, peeking around the corner they could see Kal sitting at the kitchen table, writing something, completely engrossed in it, not noticing them. He tipped back his head, mouth slightly open, gills vibrating he started making soft growl like sounds in the back of his throat. "Is ... Is he singing?" Artemis asked, stunned at the display of Atlantian culture before her. When she didn't get an answer she looked at Roy, who's mouth was hanging open, staring at the dark skinned boy. Looking to her other side Robin was filming the whole thing "I'm so sending this to KF"

The third time was years later, the original team, Beast Boy, Robin and Blue Beetle were sitting on the couches in the living area, playing monopoly, Nightwing and Robin were obviously winning with Kal a close third (as the prodege of the King of Atlantis you had to pick up a thing or two about economics). M'gann, Gar and Nightwing were having a conversation about traditions, M'gann going on about Mars, while Nightwing was giving examples of how customs can change simply by crossing a river.

"Hey, Kaldur?"

Kal gave a sound of acknowledgement, encouraging Beast Boy to keep talking, while focussing on driving Robin to bankruptcy.

"Do the people in Atlantis sing? You know with the whole living in water thing? I'm sorry if that sounds weird"

Kal laughed, "Don't worry, I'm happy to answer questions. Yes, we do sing, the water makes the sounds travel differently, so it sounds different there than it does here, but yes, we do sing, it's part of almost every festivity"

"Oh that's lovely, can you sing something for us?" M'gann asked, always exited to learn something new.

Putting down the dice, Kal leaned back on his hands, face slightly angled towards the cave sealing. He started humming, after a bit his chest started rising and falling, with the growling and grunting sounds that made up a resemblance of a melody. And then he started singing in a low voice, still a bit growly, fist slamming on the floor to keep up a beat.

The team sat there on the couches, some on the floor and stared, mesmerized. Wally and Nightwing started humming with Kal, seemingly used to the Atlantian singing.

This took so godsdamn long, but I finally finished the inciting incident. I'll have to draw the titans designs from before this bc I fell in love with them. Also I have never drawn Herald or Omen so another reason to draw them.

The actual story behind this is Trigon possesses Raven and makes her attempt to kill the Titans. The Justice League shows up to help, but they're too late to save Herald and Omen. During the course of the fight, the leaguers fall one by one. First Green Arrow, then Aquaman, Martian Manhunter, Superman, Flash. Billy Batson is permanently stuck as Billy. Hal becomes Parallax. John begins to feel shame for all the people he failed to save. Bumblebee is now stuck at a small size. Batman secluded himself to Gotham. Beast Boy feels immense guilt for what happened when he was being mind controlled. Starfire and Speedy vanish to a place unknown. Raven, being the one with blame, goes on a search for a way to remove her father's influence for good. And the world becomes uncertain of the power of it's heros.
