Smashing Diamonds
Pairing: Nate Jacobs x Fem!Reader
Summary: The well-organized party turns south for Nate when he sees his former fling just a few steps away from Maddie, with whom he recently rekindled. Deciding to stay away from her, he realizes he can't help himself after noticing what she is wearing. Word count: 2.3k (2381 words)
Warnings: smut, dirty talk, name-calling, slut shaming, degradation, fingering, a bit of choking, cursing, unprotected sex
A/n: I don't know why but I got the need to try something dirty and Nate is the perfect person to try this on. Anyway, first time really trying to get into it, so I apologize if it isn't the best. Also, I wrote this as quickly as I could, because I was afraid the writer's block was gonna get me, but thankful it did!

Friday night, a perfect time for partying. When your friend Lea first mentioned the idea, you already knew what you wanted to wear. A very transparent top and skirt, with minimal material, mostly consisting of thin stripes of diamonds. A hot look for any club.
However, Lea didn't have any club on her mind. She mentioned your friends from East Highland High.
" You remember Barbara, yeah, well she said that there was this party happening on Friday and how we should totally come. " You thought about it, not much linked you to the people from there, which seemed like a great opportunity to meet new people and face new adventures. Without any hesitation, you agreed to this party.
~~~time skip~~~
After dressing up, you gave yourself a few spins, and view your reflection from the full body mirror, admiring the shiny gems that only covered small parts of your skin.
" This is going to be epic. " You took a selfie of yourself as you heard a car honking in front of your house. Quickening your steps, you managed to pass your living room with neither of your parents taking a glance at you, knowing they wouldn't approve of the outfit.
" Damn, girl, are you trying to get knocked up?!?! " Lea let her jaw fall to the floor as you were walking towards her car.
" Hahaha, not really. " A giggle slipped through your glossy lips.
" Well, good luck trying to find a guy who will pull out in time with you like this. "
You gasped dramatically, giggling once again. " Oh my God, Lea! " She winked at you, driving away from your house and straight to the party house.
Before you even stepped into the house, a smell of weed hit your nose. Alcohol bottles were at every table, every counter, and at any corner available. The whole house was covered in purple and pink lights, pouring over the crowds, not missing a single human. Music was bombing the whole place with its beat, and you couldn't wait to get to the dancing.
You noticed that just next to the big sofa, Barbara sat on an armchair, vaping casually. Lea and you made your way over to her. She quickly saw you coming her way and stood up with open arms.
" Look who's here!! " She screamed out, even though it was barely heard due to the loud music.
" So glad you could come! " She said firstly looking at Lea and then at you. It took her 10 seconds to look at you before she commented " Obviously with a purpose! "
You laughed, smiling at her and slightly shrugging. Lea just nodded enthusiastically at her. She encourages you to give Barbara a turn, at which you initially shake your arms. However, Barbara was intrigued and kept encouraging you to do so. Giving them a mocking eye roll, you spun around with Lea holding your hand in the air.
" Well shit, you better take that ass on the dance floor. " BB clicked with her tongue.
" Oh, don't worry I will, but first I need a drink to warm up. " At your words Barbara, lead you two to the drinks, giving each of you a glass.
" In that case, drink the fuck up! "
Two and a half cups of alcohol were more than enough to make you drag yourself and Lea on the dance floor. The beat was gushing out of the speakers so loudly, you could feel it in your chest.
You completely let yourself go to the music, the freedom you were able to feel while dancing was mesmerizing. Nothing else had your focus and attention, with this addictive feeling you couldn't care less what your outfit was showing and whatnot.
Across the room, Nate was standing with his friends, as each held their cup, staring at the new girl. You.
" Fuck, who's that? " One groaned out while eyeing your body.
" Just some girl from Valley Torah High. " Nate's voice spoke as each of his friends turned to him with interest.
" Yo, Jacobs, you never told us about this one. You fucked her, right? " The same guy asked, waiting to hear confirmation. Nate looked at him quickly before, staring back at you.
" Ohhh! So where are the photos, we didn't see her yet. " Nate frowned at him, as the group of guys laughed.
" I didn't take any. " He admitted quickly. Meeting the guy's confused faces, he added. " Didn't have time. "
" I see. " The black-haired one said straightening himself up. " Well in that case we will make some. " He turned to the guy next to him, pulling out his phone and handing it to him, before deciding otherwise and giving his phone to Nate.
" I trust you will know better which angles to film. " With that, he started approaching you. Nate didn't even acknowledge the phone fully, his mind was kept on you.
The way you swayed to the song, dancing and turning. Nate had sex with you twice, firstly after meeting you at a party and the secondly when you accidentally found yourself in the same store. Expect that nothing else happened, you two barely ever talked, you knew your names but that was it.
Nate did make an effort to ask for your number, but with him getting together with Maddie once again, he didn't think of contacting you. He did, however, look at your social media, just enough to know which school you attended and who you hung out with.
Since he was on good terms with Maddie, who knows would you two ever interact again, if it wasn't for this night, that outfit, and Nate's friend.
As the guy was approaching you, Nate took the chance to look at your surroundings, seeing his girlfriend had spotted you. " Of course, she did, who fucking didn't? " He thought to himself while watching the stipes of your skirt reveal your cheeks.
The sight made him close his eyes for a second to regain his senses. The outfit was almost slutty, whorish, he thought, but yet it just made it harder for him to not start rubbing his pants.
Just before the man next to you could get to you, one of Nate's friends tried to call out to him. " Yo, you filmin' this? "
Without any hesitation, Nate dropped the damn phone, muttering under his breath " fuck this. " and fastly started making his way towards you.
His friends laughed a bit, at his reaction, waiting to see what was about to unfold. You were still in your own world when a black-haired guy spoke to you. " Hey- " not even properly starting his sentence before Nate go to him. He looked at him with a puzzled look on his face. " Thanks for borrowing me your phone, now you can go back for it, I left it with Caleb. " The taller guy said, composed and relaxed.
You stared at the two strangers, the taller one had a serious face as he spoke to the other one. " What are you talk- "
" Caleb has it. Your phone. " He cut him off, you tried to hear better what were they talking about as you leaned closer to them. The two of them just stared at each other, not matching their facial expression.
" Go. " The taller one almost whispered it to the other one's ear, who left only a second later. Just then you could recognise the man in front of you.
" Oh hey, you. Nate right? " He just nodded slowly, his eyes watching you lazily, his figure towering over you. You stared at him, awkwardly standing, feeling a bit uncomfortable since you were the only two people not dancing in the crowd.
" Come with me. " Nate said, walking away to the stairs. You followed before stopping in front of the stairs and calling after him. " For what? "
He turned to you, an annoying expression on his face, almost frustrated. " We both know why you are here, so you gonna come and get it or what? " You turned back to see Lea was drinking at the kitchen counter, before meeting your eye, you supposed she couldn't see Nate, but she knew what going upstairs meant, so with a jovial smile, she made a cheering gesture.
You laughed, acknowledging her excitement, and then followed Nate upstairs. He didn't look at the people that were there, he walked right passed them and into a room, that seemed almost fully prepared for this encounter to take place.
You went in after him, closing the door. " So you remember me? " He asked a rhetorical question. " Then you must remember what you were doing to me. " Your eyes glanced at him innocently, after all that dancing, you still felt a bit mischievous.
" I don't know Nate, am I suppose remember it? " He immediately came closer to you, almost fully, chest to chest. " You wanna play a game ha? "
" Is this what you came for? "
You preached up your lips as if you were thinking about it, locking up at him and seeing the tense position of his jaw. A lot took for you to not smile, since you knew the moment you looked down you would see how much more tension was held in his lower area. But, of course you couldn't resist to look. " Oh my. " You gasped, almost faking it. " Now I see what is stressing you out. "
Your hand automatically pushed itself on his bulge, making him bite into his lower lip. But before you could even react to that, he spun you around and pinned you on the wall. Now his covered dick almost went right into your hole, as he made the quietest groan ever.
As he held you in that position, his big hands began to rub in the inner of both of your thighs, the warmth it was creating made you push yourself into him completely out of reflex. He groaned into your ear, before sneaking one of his hands into your panties, only to rip them off you. His fingers immediately stuck themselves inside you, teasing each and every part viciously.
" Fuck, ah! " You moaned hard into the wall. He left his right hand to flick around your pussy and let his left hand reach your breasts. He easily got to them, as only the diamond stripes kept him from squeezing them firmly causing you to hiss out in a painful satisfaction.
" Fuck, yeah! Tell me how it feels. " Nate pushed his still-covered front into you, as his fingers played with your entrance, before entering into you once again.
" Oh, Nate! " You practically screamed out his name. " It feels so fucking good! " You couldn't help but drag yourself all over his pants, just wishing you could pull them down. However, your hands were more preoccupied with holding you against the wall.
" Imagine how good would it feel with my dick inside you. " At that, you whined mockingly, pushing your ass into him. This made his hand leave your pinched breasts as he smacked your ass, vividly leaving his handprint on it.
" A whore like you would, just love that, wouldn't you? " You nodded hard, making sure he had seen it. His left hand then once again made contact with your ass, slapping it to the point of full redness. His fingers still worked on you, as you felt your orgasm approaching. Nate noticed it, smirking before completely letting you go. He placed his hands on his pants, starting to pull them down. You turned to him, wishing to do it yourself, but were met with rejection.
" You better keep those hands on the fucking wall. You already fucked with me enough tonight, so I'm going to let you know how it feels. " You barely turned around, as he slipped his hard dick into you. The sudden thrust into you made you scream out in pleasure. Nate didn't even let you take a full breath in before he started pounding into you.
He thrusted more and more into you, groaning at the feeling. His hands held your hips as he fucked you. His eyes watched your ass bounce with all the diamond stripes. The diamonds glimmered and shook at each smack, creating a quite beautiful sight that was hard to look away from. It was mesmerizing him and he truly thought about how much he enjoyed this, having you against the wall, being completely at his mercy and command, he was becoming harder just thinking about it.
You hummed at his thrusts until Nate grabbed your neck and choked it." Be louder...can't hear you. " He said as he slammed his full length into you. " Mhm, I'm gonna cum! " You yelped out, squeezing his dick so perfectly. " Yeah, come on...fuck! " Nate encouraged smugly, stopping his rhyme just for a moment. " I want to see you cum on my dick. " He then slammed once again, strongly into you, as you shook helplessly.
" You wanted this all along. To get...fucked so well. And so...dirty! " Nate panted into your ear, biting on your earlobe, before relesing it. " Mhm, fuck...I like you this tight. And wet. " His left hand was left at your ass as his right one returned to your pussy. Fingers rubbing into you, before sliding in.
" Mhmm... " You moaned as tears started to come out of your eyes. " Yeah...come on! Come on my dick! " With just one merciless push into you, you released your juices all over him. Nate groaned at the feeling of wetness covering him, throwing his head back, before returning to fucking you.
" Nate! Ah! " You groaned, feeling his dick twitch. " Fuck, cum in me! " When you said it, almost breathlessly, he knew he couldn't keep going for long. It took a few more thrusts, before he too released his juices, pushing himself fully into you, back to back. He left breaths on your back, as you both calmed down and returned to your normal breathing pace.
Nate pulled his dick out of you, walked over to the bathroom, getting himself a towel and cleaning himself up.
" You still fuck good, Jacobs. I remember it. " Nate only smirked at your words, trying to not let it affect him too much. He took one towel and gave it to you to do the same.
" I still have your number. I might text you for another time. "
" We will see if you will. "
That last fic got me thinking about being Yakuza bosses Toji and Shiu’s little girl and being treated like a princess and spoiled rotten, but the second you guys are behind closed doors (or not lol) they fuck you like a slut🫶🫶
ohhhhhh that's what's up though nonnie!!! don't get me wrong, toji can be soft, and he doesn't share you OFTEN. But sometimes he thinks fuck it, gonna tag team my baby and see how well she can handle it.
Toji spends all of his off time with you, takes you for meals, shopping, oh you love shopping with daddy. Shiu usually tags along since he likes to make sure Toji has some nearby protection despite having men tailing him always. So of course Shiu gets to tag along on your little shopping sprees, too.
They'll have casual conversations about money and violence and fucking whores while you're trying on the cutest little outfits in the changing room, coming out to model each one and getting nods of approval and thumbs up with each display. Shiu carries a few of your bags while Toji holds your hand to the car. The subordinates will carry the majority of the shopping and put the bags in the boot of the car before you're taken home.
And when you are home... you'll forgive Shiu and Toji for guilting you a little, right?
"Shiu is a very busy man, you kept him busy all day, princess. And me for that matter... but we've thought of a way you can make it up to us."
You're their little toy for the night 💕 they go round after round pumping load after load of creamy cum into you. They don't fail to mention what a cute little slut you are, making sure to remind you that you're so filthy for taking two big cocks again and again until your pussy drools with their sperm. You're barely conscious by the end of it.
But you suppose they're right.
It's the least you could do.
And you couldn't sound filthier when Shiu makes the executive decision to press down on your swollen tummy until your spent little cunt gushes, their seed pouring out of you. You're so sticky and icky but you can't help yourself from moaning as you feel your freshly bred cunt releases their loads.
They really do spoil you :(
Tumblr media
WARNiNGS » profanity, ynhoon flirting, talks of love, drinking, yap central x round table realness, food, oh yeah and not proofread
Tumblr media Tumblr media
wc: 3.7k
episode desc - beep beep! welcome back to another episode of yap central, today we are joined by a special guest, round table!! in todays episode we start off very light hearted and talk about the difference between a girl doing a thirst trap and a guy doing a thirst trap (there’s a lot) then we get a bit deeper and talk about love in this new generation and if it’s truly lost its meaning. to end the episode off we talk about our icks in FRIENDSHIPs. hope you enjoyed your stay with us today, till next time!
*the typical group is sat in the room, this time with four more mics and two big two seater couches. there’s clearly some empty space while they wait to invite their guests in. jungwon adjusts the sound board. everyone is dressed casually instead of a themed outfit. some of them are on their phones while riki and kat are talking about something that the mic can’t pic up.*
jungwon: hey can someone test out one of those mics, i just need to check.
yn: i got it *you get up from your seat and walk over to one of the couches, taking a seat and speaking into the mic*
jungwon: okay great
giselle: oh they just texted that they’re here
yn: oh fun! *you stand up, sitting back down in your original seat.*
sunoo: oh i hear footsteps
kat: i think [BLEEP] is stomping- oh no i said his name
*the five of you groan, giselle shaking her head knowing she’ll have to edit it*
jungwon: you know you can come in right! *jungwon laughs at his stance as he waits at the door, peeping in then fully opening it revealing jay, jake, heeseung and sunghoon coming in one by one. they’re laughing as they sit. heeseung and sunghoon sit at the couch closest to yn and jake and jay sit at the couch closest to jungwon.*
heeseung: cannot believe people thought the special guest was blackpink
riki: maybe that would’ve been better than you grandpa
*heeseung gasps, causing a chain reaction of laughter to emerge from the group.*
jay: see i told you guys, he wouldn’t last a minute without making a heeseung old joke
sunoo: he barely could in the group chat.
giselle: it’s okay you’re not insanely old. well i mean you are but
heeseung: gee thanks..
giselle: anytime!
jake: who’s hosting today? *he looks around to the six of you*
kat: i actually am, should i sign us in? if everyone is good
jungwon: take it away
sunghoon: we’re also all good here
kat: beep beep you’ve arrived in yap central and i am your host for today kat, to my left we have..
riki: riki
yn: yn *you wave to the camera, sunghoon smiles at you softly*
sunghoon: uhh sunghoon
heeseung: heeseung!!
jake: jake
jay: jay
jungwon: jungwon *he makes a peace sign at the camera, riki meows*
giselle: giselle
sunoo: and sunoo!
kat: obviously if you can’t tell we are joined by round table today, our surprise guests
sunghoon: and we are not blackpink, as much as jake would like us to be
jake: i’m just saying if we did a cover of shut down it would EAT you have to see the vision
sunoo: none of you can pull off mother like jisoo can.
jay: okay let’s be serious the real star of that group is jennie
kat: rude, lisa is so iconic. money?? lalisa? rockstar?? NEW WOMAN?
jay: you’ve made your point *he rolls his eyes earning a smirk from kat, sitting back satisfied*
yn: i think they all shine in their own way
sunghoon: i think we can ALL sing
*everyone laughs, including you. sunghoon glances at you as if for approval and smiled, laughing along with you*
kat: okay! first question! what are some differences between a guy and a girl doing a thirst trap
*heeseung snorts, causing sunghoon to side eye him. it was unspoken between them but he knew what he was laughing at*
jungwon: first of all when a guy does it it’s just a bit icky
yn: okay well since there’s a majority of men here, raise your hand if you’ve thirst trapped
*jungwon and riki raise their hands first. then followed by jake and heeseung. you look to sunghoon who simply smiles at you*
sunghoon: what?
yn: come on raise your hand hoon
sunghoon: don’t know what you’re talking about
yn: you’re gonna do this? here?
*kat and sunoo make eyes at each other then look to you two*
sunghoon: i don’t think ive ever thirst trapped
*you rolled your eyes and leaned over, grabbing his hand and raising it high.*
yn: thank you, now what my point is that every man thirst traps, but it’s how you do it that’s different
jungwon: to defend myself it was in highschool
giselle: see anything a man does i automatically hate so you’re asking the wrong person
jake: im not gonna lie ive seen some men pull off a sexy thirst trap
*riki furrows his brows at his sentence and the two of you make eye contact, bursting out laughing*
jake: okay im sensing im being made fun of
jay: surprised your spidey sense are working
jake: can you not??
sunoo: i sort of agree with jake but not in that weird way he put it, like some guys can pull off a thirst trap
giselle: i think what icks me out is like guys intentions behind the thirst traps
heeseung: some guys are very weird with it
riki: girls aren’t really safe from that either
yn: no i agree, but guys are more guilty of it
kat: well now hold on. everyone here has thirst trapped and you’ve done it for reasons that are weird, that’s normal
giselle: can i simply hate on a man in peace?
sunoo: girl fuck you
jungwon: i think unanimously it’s decided that some guys go about thirst traps weirdly
kat: i agree with that actually
riki: guys are just weird as fuck sometimes
yn: the funniest ones are the ones on tiktok where it’s like #04 #latino #fyp
kat: those get me everytime
heeseung: it’s so corny because you know they watched it back and were like “this is the one”
jay: ladies gon loveeeee this
*the group laughs at heeseung and jays back to back joke, the two of them fist bumping*
giselle: i just personally think when a girl thirst traps its so much more elegant
jake: you act like girls can’t do it in a weird way either
yn: they can but most of the time man make it weird
sunoo: they both have valid points
heeseung: i support women’s rights.. but more importantly i support woman’s wrongs
*jay glances at heeseung then bursts out laughing, riki following along as the rest of you broke into laughter*
kat: oh my god when he said i hate periods in the group chat that got me
heeseung: i felt bad!!!
sunghoon: what gets me is he texted our group chat a couple hours after saying he was embarrassed
riki: because he’s old?
heeseung: only four years bro
riki: one foot in the grave too grand pappy
*sunoo and giselle attempt to hold back their laughter but fail when jake looks at them and laughs along*
yn: you’re never letting him rest
riki: the other three fools are next your [BLEEP] isn’t safe either
*giselle laughs as you slap riki’s arm and sunghoon giggles slightly. it wasn’t very hard to tell what was bleeped out*
kat: so next question i take it?
yn: please before i kill him
riki: don’t threaten me with a good time
jake: this kid is funny as fuck *spoken in between laughs*
kat: so as we’re all well aware there’s a new generation after gen z, my question is how does this day and age affect love and has love lost its meaning since maybe shakespeare era?
riki: heeseung would know
heeseung: now this is bullying
jungwon: *he rolls his eyes at riki then looks to kat to gesture her to continue talking*
kat: *she nods and closes her phone* what i mean is that do you think that love now and love back then is different. like do you think you could find a jane austen love in a 2024 relationship?
sunoo: i mean ive never been in love so i couldn’t tell you
riki: same
kat: okay then a show of hands who has been in love.
*everyone except jake, riki, and sunoo raise their hands*
kat: then you guys who raised their hands, do you think it was true love or do you think you conditioned yourself into thinking it was.
sunghoon: me personally i don’t think i was ever truly in love, it sounds bad but i think i sort of said it because i was obligated to? like i felt like i couldn’t be in a real relationship without saying that we were in love.
heeseung: it’s kind of the opposite for me.. i was in love with her like i can say we were in love.
jungwon: in sunghoons case i can see what kat means. i think some people don’t know what love is anymore.
giselle: it’s so conditioned in people’s heads that love has to be this bond that can never be broken and just everlasting but sometimes it really isn’t like that. love is hard to overcome and some couples never make it to that stage no matter how long they’ve been together
sunoo: that was poetic giselle *he smiles at her softly causing her to smile and nod as well*
jake: can i be honest? i feel like ill never fall in love.
jungwon: cmon don’t say that
kat: i promise it’ll come towards you when you least expect it.
jake: it’s not like im incapable of love, i just think that it’s hard to realize if it’s just love or something else? i’ve been in relationships but i guess i never got to feel that
jay: it’s hard to pinpoint like i really couldn’t tell you.
heeseung: love is like.. that inescapable feeling you have with someone. it’s sometimes left unspoken, kinda just a sigh from them and you can tell how they’re feeling.
giselle: it’s the little things as corny as it sounds, it doesn’t even have to be romantic sometimes but you could feel like comfort with them.
*whilst heeseung and giselle talk, sunghoons looking at you. it seems a million thoughts are going through his head and he looks down at his hands, then to you again. there’s this look in eyes, admiration? hard to pinpoint. riki’s eyes shift between you and sunghoon and he smiles at how he looks at you. he then looks away*
yn: bottom line is, no matter how much you feel like you’ll never experience love you will and it’ll be so worth the wait.
jake: thanks guys, i kinda needed to hear that.
riki: i still wanna experience a shakespeare or jane austen kind of love
sunoo: okay look at you not being mysterious.
*riki rolls his eyes and smiles softly*
yn: as much as people want to say that love back then was dramatized i don’t think it was. i would want someone to fight for my love, to overcome every obstacle thrown at us and be equally as in love with me as i am with them
kat: i agree, i mean we’ve talked about how unequal love just never works out.
jay: recipe for disaster, i think shakespearean love is beautiful.
giselle: it’s not even the picture perfect representation of love but it shows how far people are willing to go for someone they feel so true to.
sunghoon: is it weird to say i’m almost.. jealous of it?
jungwon: no, not at all. i mean i am too
sunoo: i am too honestly, it’s kind of one of those things that keeps me up at night
jake: i would give a lot up to experience a kind of love like that
yn: i think anyone would
*there was a silence amongst the group, a couple of you made eye contact and started laughing.*
heeseung: i didn’t know what else to say
jay: i kinda need to use the bathroom… *sunghoon glances his way only to laugh at him*
kat: that is perfect because i was gonna announce a break anyways
sunoo: i was gonna go get water jay so ill show you where the bathroom is
*both jay and sunoo get up, pushing their mics out of the way so they can go*
giselle: wait can you get me my red bull sunoo! *sunoo gives her a thumbs up as they both leave the room, talking about something that the mics can’t pick up*
jake: wait you guys have red bull
jungwon: we have a lot, do you want something i can text sunoo
jake: no no it’s okay *its clear on his face that he does want something, he’s just too embarrassed to say it*
kat: we can tell you want something spit out
jake: i could use a kool aid jammer… *mumbling*
jungwon: okay ill text him, was that so hard?
*jake shakes his head no, making heeseung giggle at him. currently everyone is scrolling on their phones, checking their notifications since they couldn’t earlier.*
kat: did you guys see chilis is closing down?
riki: oh my fucking god don’t bro i’m gonna cry
heeseung: why is chili's closing down when the real enemy is burger king
jungwon: i’ve been saying that for years
giselle: oh i need me a triple dipper real bad
jake: *groans* those fucking mozzarella sticks
yn: they started saucing those babies up
jake: i am so picking up chilis on the way home
heeseung: can we stop and eat there because you’re taking me home today
jake: i’ll place an order right fuckin now
kat: there’s a chilis right down the corner here and it is so heavenly
jungwon: most rundown place ever but when i tell you the food is life changing i mean it
jake: really? because usually i would go to the one in LA but that one is so busy all the time
riki: yeah like there’s barely anyone and it’s just right down the corner
yn: i might go too honestly
jungwon: okay wait i’ll go with you
sunghoon: should we all just go after this
riki: i’ll place a fat one on your lips right now bro
sunghoon: excuse me?
giselle: YES let’s go after recording
jake: i need to try those sauced up mozz sticks
*jay and sunoo enter the rooms again, sunoo giving jake his kool aid jammer and giselle her red bull*
jungwon: we’re all gonna go to chilis after this
sunoo: god bless
jay: i’ve never been to chilis
*theres a couple gasps and riki side eyes him with a nasty look. heeseung furrows his brows then looks at jay*
heeseung: he’s fucking lying because yes you have
jay: i literally haven’t
heeseung: my mom took us after we lost the lacrosse game in like 6th grade
jay: how the fuck am i supposed to remember that bro
sunghoon: that lacrosse game was so messy
sunoo: you know you look like you would lose at lacrosse
jay: in my defense there was some dirty shit going down there
yn: at a middle school lacrosse game? *you tried stifling a laugh but jungwon laughing set it off for the rest of you*
heeseung: don’t get him started
jay: will you shut up? no i SWEAR someone was setting me up because i had that match in the palm of my hand
jake: it’s been like 15 years bro
jay: oh yet you can’t shut up about your senior year basketball match
jake: THE LAST FUCKIN MINUTE AND THAT DIPSHIT MISSED THE BASKET  *he yells, pointing at heeseung*
jungwon: senior year was so rough the same thing happened
riki: no im so blessed you fucked up senior year so after you i could like messi after you graduated
kat: i love when men start plotting against each other
yn: i know they’re doing the work for me
sunghoon: weren’t you the one who told me about your videography club incident
*you slap his arm, making him laugh aloud and giselle looks at you with furrowed brows*
yn: i told you in confidence can you not!
giselle: waittt you didn’t tell us this
riki: oh my god the story is so fucking funny
yn: i am not saying it front of the camera
*sunghoon starts humming the theme of boyfriend by big time rush, making you slap his arm once more*
sunoo: chilis, you have to tell us
yn: fine i will *you side eye sunghoon who only grins at you, making you laugh*
giselle: im already dreaming of my order
jake: i am going to murder that triple dipper bro
jungwon: okay let’s not talk about it or else ill want to sign out and go right now
kat: good for you i have one more question and it’s pretty short. so you know what are your icks in friendships
yn: okay thank god because i am like i have a list i swear. *you sit up, sitting criss cross on the couch.* one big thing for me is a girl who just always needs a guy in her life
giselle: *groans* ohhhh my god it is so frustrating
kat: like talking to a girl who just always thinks of a man is so annoying because she is worth so much more than that
riki: lowkey [BLEEP] is like that
*sunoo and jungwon look at each other, the 6 of you bursting out in laughter. heeseung snickers a little*
heeseung: she was in my dms like last week
jake: oh my god i remember
sunoo: i thought she was with [BLEEP]?
yn: noooo i think it’s casual sex
sunghoon: *he elbows heeseung, giggling* you wanna slide in there
heeseung: worry about you and [BLEEP] bro
*everyone laughs at heeseungs comment, giselle knowing there’s so much she has to edit out*
sunoo: i think having a friend who can never have a deep conversation like for the life of them
jay: it’s so hard to talk to people like that, it’s like a conversation can’t go surface level
yn: talking to yeonjun is like that
giselle: i am not editing that one out
jungwon: he is does not care
sunghoon: oh my god his last party he asked to be on the pod
riki: dream guest on my podcast *jojo siwa voice*
sunoo: here you go again
yn: the same party you dumped a drink on me?
*sunghoon only looks at you and smiles. he tilts his head and held eye contact with you.*
sunghoon: how many more times do i have to tell you im sorry? you want me to beg on my knees pre- yn?
*jungwon and jake side eye each other at sunghoon almost slipping out a petname*
yn: maybe, don’t know yet. *you smile softly at his slip up*
sunghoon: well i am sorry
yn: hoon i was joking
*the two of you hold eye contact for a little while longer, a small smile growing on your faces. your friends know the two of you are idiots who are unaware at the moment but hey, what they know can’t hurt you*
jay: anyways.. i think having a friend who cheats in relationships is such a red flag
heeseung: we’ve talked about this
jungwon: it’s like having a liar as a friend
*you make a face when jungwon says liar, sunghoon shifts himself in his seat causing heeseung to send a look his way*
yn: i despise liars. i don’t care nasty the truth is if you felt as if you had to hide it from me it shows how little you care for me
giselle: i agree so heavy with both statements
jake: it’s kind of hard talking to someone who just lies to you.
sunoo: i agree, it’s almost like at some point i stop believing everything they tell me
jungwon: another ick for me is someone who doesn’t have a single close friend
yn: meh, if it’s a guy i get it but for some girls it’s so hard
giselle: i agree with yn. i mean i know so many girls who were simply wronged by their friends and left alone
heeseung: they’re always like the nicest people who ever met
jungwon: i guess so but a guy it’s just.. what the fuck are you doing for that to happen?
yn: no yeah i understand
jay: some guys we’re friends with are sooo weird
sunghoon: [BLEEP] or [BLEEP]
giselle: you guys have been name dropping all day
riki: that’s real because i know those two and they’re weird as fuck
sunghoon: we were in a group chat with them and yeonjun and even yeonjun was weirded out
giselle: what were they saying
jake: just some nasty shit about girls, it’s so weird
jungwon: why are some guys like that
jake: wish i could tell you
kat: i think an ick for me is someone who doesn’t have good music taste
jungwon: maybe you hate yourself
*riki snorts, causing a chain reaction of laughter*
kat: i MEAN people who listen to only tiktok music
jake: oh my god it’s like hellaur listen to something
*sunoo mumbled ‘hellaur’ in jake’s accent, causing everyone to laugh*
jake: don’t piss me off bro
sunoo: yeah i am so threatened
jungwon: im thinking of that shark attack drink from chilis
giselle: once i asked my server to spike it for me
kat: wait.. that’s an amazing idea
heeseung: those espresso martinis are so good
riki: this old hag
heeseung: imagine not being the legal drinking age
the rest of you: OOOOO
*you reach over to dap heeseung up, who only reciprocated it, giggling a little*
riki: okay whatever
jungwon: should we sign out then?
yn: god yes i need to go NEOW
kat: *looking at the camera* i hope you all enjoyed your stay in yap central, please like, share, subscribe and check out our other resources in the description as well as round tables which will be linked below. till next time!!
✹ ✶ 𖧷 ✶✹
There was a cramp in your stomach from laughing so hard— a pain made worse by the fact that Mor’s roughly concocted mimosas fueled the hilarity of every comment. She and Feyre were in stitches beside you, their snickers echoing off the walls as you all made your way down the stairs. It had taken a while, but you were finally ready to head out for the last day of Summit. The boys had been waiting with increasing impatience.
As you rounded the corner into the kitchen, Cassian looked up with a start, his hand paused mid-air, spoon halfway to his mouth. He choked as he took in the sight before him, his eyes widening in disbelief.
“What the hell do those say?” Cassian coughed, pressing his hand over his mouth as he swallowed hard. He stood up from his seat, and you bit back a laugh.
You three had been adamant about making your last day truly memorable. Somehow that had turned into throwing out any pretenses of looking cute or trendy. Instead, you three wanted something more sophisticated, outfits that showed your maturity. You’d each chosen special shirts for one another.
Yours was a white tee with bold, unapologetic text: “I made your dad a bottom.” Mor’s shirt was a masterpiece of absurdity. She’d cut it into a sleeveless, oversized fit that hung off her frame with casual abandon. The front featured a stock photo of a muscular, awkwardly posed werewolf figure with the caption “Human by chance, alpha by choice” scrawled underneath in an ill-advised font. Feyre’s was also a true work of art. She'd played pretend offend for all of three seconds when she'd first seen it, giggling about how true it was. Her shirt boasted a crudely drawn frog holding a paintbrush, paired with the words “Dyslexic with tig bits.”
You exchanged grins with your best friends.
"Aren't you gonna tell us how good we look?" Mor asked, placing a hand on her hip. She gave him a look of impatience, as if the time running by without her compliment was getting on her nerves.
"I-" Cassian ran a hand across his mouth, tracing his mustache with extra care once he noticed her budding scowl. "Rhys! Az!"
The two boys emerged almost instantly, their mouths falling open in amusement as their eyes scanned the shirts. Rhys was the first to react, his face lighting up with a wide grin as he let out a low whistle.
“Pretty privilege lets you guys get away with way too many things,” he mused, his attention fixed entirely on Feyre as he approached her. He gently took her hand, guiding her into a dainty twirl to showcase her outfit.
Your gaze shifted to Az, who leaned casually against the wall, amusement dancing in his eyes as he crossed his arms over his chest. Mimicking his pose, you crossed your arms defensively. He shook his head, pushing off the wall and strolling towards you.
“Well, don’t cover up the art like that,” he said, glancing at your crossed arms. “I was enjoying it.”
You blushed, letting out a snort as you dropped your arms, gesturing dramatically to the shirt. Az’s eyes glimmered as he reached forward, his fingers lightly brushing the edges of the fabric. “Why this one?”
“Mor chose it for me,” you replied, your breath catching slightly. Azriel nodded in approval.
“Fitting.”
Cassian, now fully recovered, let out a hearty laugh. “Well, I’m feeling left out. You all look—” he paused for dramatic effect, “—exceptionally unique.”
“Good answer,” Mor said with a satisfied nod. She wrapped an arm around you, pulling you along with her as she walked towards the kitchen. “And isn’t the idea of dommy Y/N so hot?”
You groaned, your face flushing red as she giggled beside you. For the tenth time that morning, you begged her to stop using such a strange title. Her laughter only grew louder.
✹ ✶ 𖧷 ✶✹
The merch line was long, but you didn’t mind waiting; the day was cooler, the sun less blistering than it had been, and the thought of having a physical memento from the weekend was comforting. Az had volunteered to keep you company while the others leisurely watched a smaller set on the schedule. There was an ease to this moment, the kind that settled in when time stretched out.
Azriel turned his head to look at you. His eyes scanned your figure and a second later he was shaking his head, looking away as a laugh left his lips. Your heart skipped a beat. Az’s laugh was something you coveted, a sound you’d become addicted to over time.
You waited until his eyes reached yours again to raise your eyebrow. "What?"
"That fuckin' shirt," Az replied. "I just can't get over it."
You grinned, nudging him with your shoulder as the line moved forward. "Don't judge. It's been a chick and dick magnet."
It was true. You'd gotten more compliments on your shirt than you'd ever received in your entire life— at least, drunk you seemed to think so. God, you needed to wear this outfit more often.
Azriel shook his head again, offering up his hands in surrender. "No judgment here," he said. He scanned you again, eyes glowing with a sense of contemplation. He pulled his cap off his head and placed it on yours. You tracked his movements with your eyes, watching as he took a step backwards and admired you as if he'd just created a masterpiece.
"Perfect."
It was an effort not to beam at the word alone, at how it seemed to anchor itself in your chest, resonating with a deeper meaning you were too embarrassed to fully acknowledge. You cleared your throat, ignoring the warmth that rolled through your body, surely collecting on your reddening cheeks. You placed your hands on your hips.
"I look good?"
Azriel let out a small hiccup, a smile spreading across his face. "Oh yeah," he said, reclaiming his spot next to you in a few, easy strides. "You look like every dude in Rhys's frat."
Your smile fell. You attempted to give him a glare, to scowl, but Azriel's proud grin pulled a laugh from deep in your chest. "You said it looked good."
Az's smile curved, deepening into the crevasses of his cheeks. "And I meant it, you look great. Stunning."
There it was, that feeling again— that giddiness that left you fumbling for words. Something warm and silly spread throughout your chest. For a moment, you struggled to respond, fumbling through your mind to put together a coherent sentence. It was proving hard, so incredibly hard, when Az was looking at you the way he was.
"I didn't know frat boys were your type."
Azriel shrugged. "I didn't either. Guess we're both learning new things."
You playfully smacked him with your hand and reached up to remove his cap from your head. He shook his head, taking it back to adjust the band with nimble fingers. You watched him, noting the slight tremble as he refitted it to your head.
“You keep this,” Azriel said, securing it on you again. “It looks better on you anyway.”
You swallowed, fingertips brushing the brim. “Careful, Az. It might sound like you’re flirting with me or something.”
Azriel stared at you for a moment. His gaze was steady, searching. Do friends look at friends this way? Was it wrong to crave his gaze so deeply?
"What can I say," Az finally replied. The line moved forward. "I guess I just can't resist the pull of a frat guy."
Azriel brushed his palmalong the small of your back to guide you forward. The warmth of his touch lingered long after he removed his hand.
✹ ✶ 𖧷 ✶✹
You weren't sure how much time had passed since Az left to go put all of the merch in the car. His instructions to you had been clear: stay in the same area so he could find you when he came back in. When he'd left, there was still around an hour until you'd meet back up with Mor, Feyre, Cass and Rhys.
But Azriel's instructions left your mind the minute he was out of view. You'd reached that perfect point of being slightly crossed—mostly drunk, but not dangerously so— and everything felt vibrant. Alive. It made no sense to stand still or sit in a patch of grass and wait for Az to return like a sad codependent dog and its owner. No, that wouldn't do.
So you wandered, finding yourself by the food trucks, a new fruity drink in your hand. Non-alcoholic and entirely too expensive for its small size, but money didn't seem real to you. There was a large smile on your face as you weaved through the small crowds. You'd made around six new friends, random people you began talking to in line, those equally as drunk who voiced their love for your outfit.
You barely registered when you bumped into a girl, the drink in your hand sloshing a bit.
“Oh my god, I’m so sorry!” A soft voice exclaimed. You brought your attention to her face, taking in her long brown hair as she wiped a drop from her shirt. You were about to apologize then too, but then her eyes met yours. Something sparked in them. They widened, the brown glowing almost, and she beamed.
“I know you!”
You stilled. “You do?” There was something familiar about her but you couldn’t quite place it. The smile especially. Something warm and friendly.
“Yes!” she nodded eagerly. She grabbed the arm of a person next to her, pulling them into the conversation. Deep blue eyes and sandy brown hair.
“Babe," the girl said, "This is the girl from yesterday!"
A look of realization formed on her partner's face. She turned to you again. "I was just telling them earlier about you. I took your picture yesterday."
They nodded, a small chuckle leaving their lips as they took a sip of their shared drink. "She was," they said, "The pretty girl with the boyfriend who had a sick wing tattoo.”
You blinked. Maybe you were feeling a bit slow today, a bit lethargic, or maybe you were a bit too gone to carry such a fast conversation. You let their words sink in, allowing your face to blossom into a smile. You recognized her face now, remembering the sweet approach she'd had to you and Az. The picture you now cherished so deeply. Your cheeks warmed.
 “Oh, uh. He's not my boyfriend.”
The girl stilled. A sense of surprise flickered across her face. “Really?”
“Yeah,” you laughed lightly, “just friends.”
She exchanged a look with her partner, a silent conversation passing between them, and then turned back to you with an intrigued expression, eyes slightly narrowed, lips still curved at the edges.
"Really?" She repeated, as if her question would pull a different answer, one that may have satisfied her more.
You gave a sheepish smile, shrugging your shoulders. You suddenly felt entirely too vulnerable, embarrassed in a way you hadn't felt since you were a child in kindergarten. She exchanged another look with her partner.
“Does he know that?” They said.
You shifted awkwardly, the heat rising in your cheeks. “Yeah, I mean, it's kinda weird, though. I don't know...” You trailed off, feeling the words slipping away from you. It was hard to articulate when your mind was so pleasantly hazy. You hesitated, then added with a chuckle, “It’s a long story.”
They both nodded. The girl looked at her partner before turning back to you. She grinned and shrugged, her eyes bright with curiosity. “Well, if you have the time, so do we.”
You furrowed your brows. She leaned in closer, like a best friend about to share a secret, and whispered conspiratorially, “I love a good storytime.”
And so, you found yourself sitting on a patch of grass, with Victoria and Jamie, as you learned their names to be, a band playing distantly on the stage nearby. The entire history spilled from your lips like uncontrollable bile, as if you were drafting a biography and starting it from the moment you met Feyre—because that’s when it truly all started. Almost four years ago, you realized.
You talked about freshman year, about your introductory philosophy class, your friendship with Az that blossomed into this deep, heavy crush. You told them about that almost-kiss, the one that lingered in your memory like a bittersweet stain, and even about your relationship with Eris.
Victoria's drink was empty by the time you’d finished and the sun had dipped ever-so-slightly in the sky, now painting the festival in golden hues.
 “Wow,” Victoria said, exchanging a meaningful look with Jamie before turning back to you.
You felt a twinge of embarrassment. “I talked too much, didn't I?"
“Not at all! That was incredibly entertaining. Felt like the plot to some kind of romcom,” she said, laughing lightly. Jamie nodded in agreement. You felt heat rush to your cheeks.
“So… what’s holding you back?” Victoria asked, tilting her head slightly as she studied your face. You opened your mouth to respond, but she quickly interjected, “And do not say it’s because you’re not sure he feels the same. You’re wearing his hat.”
You offered a sheepish smile, bringing your fingers up to trace the brim of Azriel’s cap, still securely placed on your head. You’d almost forgotten he’d put it there. It made sense now, why your face didn’t feel as burnt as usual. It also felt silly to admit that it was a worry of yours--- that maybe Az didn't see anything romantic with you the way he once did, that maybe these small moments were doused in a platonic love, like that from Cass and Rhys, and you had deluded yourself into thinking too deeply about them.
You shrugged, a small, helpless gesture. “It’s more complicated than that,” you mumbled, but your words felt hollow even to your own ears.
Jamie leaned forward, their gaze sharp and inquisitive. You resisted the urge to draw back at the eye contact, at how their blue eyes seemed to be reading you. They casted a glance at Victoria.
“Is it because of your ex-boyfriend?"
"What?" You frowned, letting your shoulders sag as the words ran through you. "What do you mean?"
They shrugged, sharing another glance with Victoria.
"You mentioned him a lot. And you said they all had a past. Maybe it’s some kind of guilt?”
Your eyes widened as you considered the possibility, the weight of it settling heavily in your chest. You hadn’t consciously connected the two, the strange anxiety and guilt that had bubbled throughout the week. But now that it had been mentioned, acknowledged by someone other than yourself, the thought lingered, a seed of doubt taking root.
Maybe they were right; maybe you’d been letting guilt hold you back from pursuing what you truly wanted. That extended to things far beyond the way you felt for Az. The truth was, you did feel guilty. You'd lost time with your friends when you and Eris dated. It was part of the reason why you felt even worse for not wanting to move with Mor— because you didn't want to disappoint her another time, to make her feel like you were choosing something else over her.
And there was Azriel. Azriel, Azriel, Azriel. Where was he anyways? You should go find him. Surely it's been too long. Were you spending too much time with him? Should you be at Mor's hip instead?  Your thoughts started swirling faster, more compounded and harder to process.
“I guess I hadn’t really thought about it that way,” you admitted, your voice quiet. "Maybe that's it."
Why was it so easy to be more honest to complete strangers than to yourself? Such a strange thing, you thought, as Victoria watched you carefully. Her eyes softened with understanding. There was a moment of silence before Jamie smiled encouragingly, gently placing a hand on her thigh.
“I think Vi has something to show you.”
"Oh, right! I do." She beamed, eyes lighting up with excitement. She pulled out her phone and a few seconds later, she was holding it out to you, a photo on the screen. "This was why I was so glad to run into you."
The photo was taken the day before, during the set where Victoria had taken that picture of you and Azriel. This one was from behind, capturing Azriel’s arm resting naturally around your waist as you both watched the band. The sight stirred something deep within you. You felt a smile tug at your lips as you remembered how that moment had felt—comfortable, right, as if the world outside had fallen away, leaving just the two of you.
When you met her eyes again, Victoria grinned, clearly delighted by your reaction. “Watch the live,” she said, offering you her phone to hold in your own hands.
You listened, gently taking it and pressing down on the photo. It showed you looking away from Az, a soft smile on your face, and then, right after, Az looking down at you with an expression just as soft, one that you felt deeply in your chest. You let it replay a couple of times.
No wonder Victoria had assumed you and Az were together, had complimented you like a couple, told her partner about you both. If you were an outsider watching this moment, you’d think you were a couple too—so natural, so connected. What could be, if only you were brave enough to reach for it.
Victoria’s voice pulled you back. “It was fate that I ran into you again. The picture was so cute I was tempted to post it somewhere in hopes it got to you.”
Her words made you smile and you glanced at Jamie. The way they looked at her, with such tenderness and affection, was like something out of a fairy tale. It made your heart ache, longing for something similar. Azriel's laugh echoed faintly in your head.
Jamie caught your gaze and nodded toward the phone in Victoria’s hand. “Friends don’t look at friends that way,” they said, their grin slightly teasing but gentle all the same. “Just so you know.”
Victoria sighed wistfully, leaning into Jamie as they wrapped an arm around her. "You know what I think?" You raised a brow, inviting her to continue. Her face softened as she met your gaze. "You should tell him how you feel."
You sighed, looking down at the ground. Admitting you felt something for Azriel could change the dynamic between you. And not only that, but the dynamic between you and everyone else. You liked where everything was at now. You didn’t want to ruin it.
“It’s just not that simple.”
“No one said it would be,” She said gently. She looked up at Jamie, her eyes shining a bit brighter than seconds before. “But sometimes, the best things aren’t.”
You had given Az similar advice the day before—urging him to chase his dreams and not confine himself to limitations. The irony of those very words being directed back at you now, especially about him, made you want to laugh. It felt oddly fitting and full-circle. Maybe you could write a paper about it.
Jamie tangled their fingers in Victoria’s hair. They nodded in agreement, giving you a look that said: Listen to her. She's right.
Victoria seemed to catch your hesitation and she called your attention with a gentle murmur of your name. "I'm serious," she said. "The regret of not trying will probably be much stronger than any guilt you feel now."
You smiled to yourself, picking at the grass around you and feeling the blades between your fingers. You looked at them again, amused at how your day had led you to this insightful couple and some much-needed time to spill your guts.
"You guys are so wise," you said with a small chuckle. "Y'know that?"
"It's these fucking spiked lemonades," she replied, lifting up her empty can. "They give me a fifth sense."
Jamie chuckled next to her. They patted her head gently. "Sixth."
"Huh?" She said, turning her head to look at them.
"Sixth sense, babe," they said. "You already have five senses."
✹ ✶ 𖧷 ✶✹
Azriel had found you five minutes into your second conversation with Victoria and Jamie, his eyes wide and cheeks slightly red. He'd been looking for you for almost fifteen minutes, his countless calls having been sent to voicemail because your phone had been silenced. You'd apologized profusely, but Az had laughed it off, saying he was grateful that you had a shirt he could see from miles away and a hat he knew like the back of his hand. He greeted Jamie and Victoria, recognizing the latter almost immediately, and then jokingly thanked them for watching you while he was gone, making a joke that you were a wandering toddler with an affinity for shiny things.
Victoria shot you a knowing look as you both walked away.
You had a few more minutes before you were scheduled to meet the rest of the group, so you took the opportunity to enjoy the scene. You and Azriel wandered through the vibrant area of the festival where booths from local artists and craftspeople lined the grassy areas. The atmosphere was lively, filled with the hum of conversation and the occasional burst of music from nearby stages. With everything around you vying for your attention, your mind stayed tethered to the conversation with Jamie and Victoria.
You stopped when you spotted a photobooth nestled between two tables, a vintage looking thing advertising two strips of 5 photos for 12 bucks. A steep price, but something in you was drawn to it nonetheless.
You looked at Azriel with a grin. “Does the photographer feel like being photographed?
Az raised an eyebrow. “I feel like no matter what I say, you'll somehow convince me to do it anyways.”
You smiled wider, biting your lip to keep it from spreading too much. “You know me so well.”
The space was intimate, practically needing you both to sit atop of one another. You gently took his hat off, placing it in your lap as Azriel’s arm slipped comfortably around your shoulders, drawing you even closer. The gesture was casual, something he'd done countless times before, but it sent your pulse racing all the same.
Azriel’s smile was warm as he looked into the camera and you found yourself acutely aware of his presence, noting the smallest of details despite the camera's low quality. The curls on his head, the sharpness of his jaw, the way his eyes crinkled as he grinned. The smile on your face as the booth snapped its first picture was a result of staring at Az's reflection; your second smile came from the sound of his laugher, soft and genuine, filling the tiny space.
You reached out and gently cupped his cheek for one of the next poses, your fingers brushing against his skin. His expression softened. And then his fingers were grazing your hair, slowly tangling themselves by winding a strand around his finger.
As the fourth picture snapped, you noticed how he was looking at you—not at the camera, but at you. His gaze was steady and unwavering, filled with something you couldn’t quite name but felt in every fiber of your being. You turned to look at him, meeting his eyes with soft breath.
Jamie’s voice echoed in your head, a distant but persistent echo. Friends don’t look at friends that way.
The space between you seemed to contract. You took a deep breath, feeling a familiar buzz of longing resurface. And suddenly, you were eighteen again, millimeters away from Az on that Halloween night. His eyes drifted to your lips.
Victoria’'s voice whispered next: The regret of not trying will probably be much stronger than any guilt you feel now.
Azriel leaned in, his eyes drifting shut as he brought his hand up to cradle your hair. Your breath hitched and you moved to close the distance, a sudden need filling your body. Azriel, your mind seemed to whisper, repeatedly like a prayer, Azriel Azriel, Azriel—
A sudden, blinding FLASH snapped you to reality. You both pulled back slightly, eyes wide, as the booth’s camera whirred to capture the memory you’d just almost shared. Azriel blinked, clearing his throat, and you scrambled to pull back the curtain, stepping into the blinding sunshine.
You fumbled with your shirt, trying to smooth it down as though you'd been caught in some misstep. The words, I made your dad a bottom, mocked you boldly. Avoiding Azriel’s gaze, you stared at the ground as he handed you the strip of photos. Your hand brushed his briefly, lingering long enough to feel the warmth of his touch as you took the pictures.
You glanced at the photos, then looked up to find Azriel already staring at you. You opened your mouth to say something, but a familiar voice yelling your names cut you off. Mor and Cassian came sprinting towards you with wide smiles. You shoved the photo strip into your bag.
You smiled, making an effort to focus on the story Cass was animatedly telling as he wrapped an arm around you and pulled you into his side. But your eyes kept drifting back to Azriel, who seemed just as lost in thought as you.
✹ ✶ 𖧷 ✶✹
You were a sentimentalist at your core.
For as long as you could remember, you collected memories. You stored them away like treasures, delicate and fragile, saving them for rainy days when you'd wrap yourself in nostalgia like a warm blanket. You wanted everything to have meaning, for things to make sense in a world that often didn’t. Perhaps that’s what led you to study philosophy—a major that let you think too deeply about everything, that encouraged you to seek understanding to a point where nothing made sense.
The Stoics believed that the practice of virtue was enough to achieve eudaimonia, a well-lived life. As you stood in the grassy expanse, watching the lights dance across the night sky and feeling the music pulse through your veins, you thought that maybe this was what they meant. Maybe this was a well-lived life—being surrounded by the simple joy of being alive.
The sun had long set and the sky above was a blanket of deep indigo. You'd all chosen to enjoy the headliner and final performance from a distance, preferring the open space behind the throng rather than being swallowed by the crush of bodies near the stage. From your vantage point you watched the massive crowd sway in unison, a sea of bobbing heads and glowing sticks. Every now and then flashing neon lights would meet your eyes, causing you to squint at their power.
You could see it all—the band on the huge screens, the ocean of people, and the world alive around you. Your arms were intertwined with Mor and Feyre's as you danced together, singing the songs at the top of your lungs. Mor pulled you both closer and you felt her laugh more than you heard it, a rumble through her body as she beamed into the endless night.
Feyre laughed, and you watched as her gaze fell elsewhere. She squeezed you both before bouncing towards Rhys, hair flying wild and free. He caught her easily, their bodies swaying in perfect harmony and you grinned at the way they fit so effortlessly together. You stored the image of their smiles away in your mind.
Mor pulled you towards her, bringing your cheeks between her palms. Her eyes were glowing with a mixture of happiness and the alcohol in her system as she grinned.  "I'm so glad you're here!"
The words ran through you, warming every corner of your body as you smiled back to her. Distantly, you could feel the tickle of tears behind your eyes--- the urge to cry from a strange mixture of love, happiness, and guilt. You let your mind focus on that love as your smile grew wider.
"Me too," you responded loudly. "I love you."
Mor's eyes lit up even more as she squealed, pulling you into a quick hug as she repeated the words back to you, over and over. When you pulled away, you found Cassian next to you, his strong arms wrapping around both of you, drawing you into his orbit. He twirled you and you laughed, moving with him until your world was a dizzy blur of colors and lights. And when Cass moved to pull Mor, you paused for a moment, looking around the crowd. You weren't quite sure what you were searching for. But your heart seemed to be seeking it, some craving.
 A few steps away were Rhys and Feyre, their faces lit up with excitement as they sang animatedly to Azriel. You turned your attention to him, observing his genuine smile and the way he moved to the music. Despite the proximity of your bodies on the same patch of grass, in this fleeting instant, he seemed distant, absorbed in his own enjoyment--- and you watched it with a sense of admiration. Your gaze lingered on his lips.
The craving you once had—whatever it was you had been searching for—faded as he laughed.
You gently pulled away from Mor and Cassian, stepping aside to watch your friends dance. The scene was too perfect to let slip away unrecorded, so you pulled out your phone and captured a bit of it. The quality would suck in the darkness, the figures mostly shadow with laser lights painting them in brief flashes of color, but you didn’t care.
A bittersweet ache ran through you. You'd never have this moment again. And if you parted ways after graduation, you'd miss out on many more moments like this. When you looked back up, Az was approaching you. There was a smile on his face that matched the warmth in you, a sense of peace that paired perfectly with that tingling excitement that Az often made you feel.
He extended his hand towards you. "It's time to take your own advice.”
You looked at his outstretched hand, then up at him, a smile tugging at your lips. He didn't need to explain his words further. You knew exactly what he was referring to. Almost instantly, your mind traveled to the countless times you had urged him to embrace the moment, attempted to pull him out of his head.
You let out a determined breath and grabbed his hand, intertwining your fingers with his as you pulled him back towards the group. Mor and Feyre had blended into a new group, singing along and laughing with their new friends. Meanwhile, Cassian and Rhys were dancing in a playful, almost mocking manner, with Cassian humorously mimicking the way Rhys and Feyre had been dancing closely.
You tugged Azriel into the midst of it all, letting him guide you into a light twirl. The music wrapped around you, the lights casting an ethereal glow over the jubilant crowd. The world narrowed into this experience--- to you and Az surrounded by your friends, to Mor singing the lyrics to a giggling Feyre.
The Stoics believed in many things. They believed in the value of virtue and the pursuit of wisdom, in accepting the things we cannot change, and most importantly, they believed in the power of the present moment. It is the only thing we have control over.
Your wandering thoughts from earlier were all true. You'd never be this young again. You'd never attend this same festival, never be this drunk, never dance like this in this exact constellation of friends and music. You'd miss out on many memories, many moments just as joyous.
You’d never have this exact moment again.
But right now, it was all yours.
And that was all that mattered.
Summary: You and Harry attend a wedding together and he ends up getting very drunk.
Pairing: Boyfriend!Harry x Reader
Word count: 1,727
A/N: this was inspired by the photos we got today of Harry looking 👌🏼 at his cousins wedding. Hope you enjoy!
Tumblr media
“Do these shoes make my legs look too long? Like scarily long?” You said walking into the bathroom where Harry was standing in front of the mirror after just having had a shower while he was in nothing but a towel and fixing his hair.
His eyes darted from his head to your legs in the corner of the mirror and he smirked “absolutely not. I love your legs” he said coming over and kissing you as you ran your hand through his wet hair.
“I’m just not sure on the dress, what do you think?” You said flattening the front of the sage green silk dress out with your hands.
“You’d look better without it but for today, it’s perfect. You look stunning babe” he says smiling at you. You thanked him and went back through to your bedroom to do the finishing touches to your makeup while Harry got ready.
It was his cousin, Ben Selley’s wedding today and he had managed to get the day off so he could attend. You were looking forward to meeting more of Harry’s extended family; you had only met Anne & her partner and Gemma and her partner Michal since you and Harry had only been dating for 9 months, so you were excited to meet everyone.
10 minutes later, Harry walked into the bedroom and your jaw dropped.
“Stop. Wait. This isn’t right. You’re going to a wedding and you’re NOT wearing cream? Are you feeling okay babe?” You said jokingly putting your hand against his forehead to check his temperature. Harry always had a thing about wearing cream to a wedding, not white as he would make clear, but cream. It was odd to see him not in this colour for once.
He chuckled at your response to his outfit “thought I’d go for something more casual today” he said, showing off his fitted black suit and casual white tank top with his orange tinted glasses with thick black frame to complete the look.
“I certainly approve of it Mr Styles” you said admiring his outfit.
It was a short drive to the church where you saw lots of guests enter the building slowly. Harry’s mum said to meet outside and you could all sit together, and you immediately felt at ease when you seen her walking towards you.
“Don’t the pair of you scrub up well!” She said bringing you in for a kiss on the cheek to greet you.
You chuckled “thanks Anne, you look lovely” you told her, although Anne always looked flawless whether she was wearing a hoodie or a dress, you think that’s where Harry gets it from.
You said hello to Gemma and Michal and entered the church.
You were slightly nervous now at meeting everyone, although excited at the same time to see his cousin getting married.
The 6 of you took a seat in an aisle and immediately Harry got chatting to the people sitting in front.
“This is my girlfriend y/n, y/n these are my other cousins, Ryan and Hayley” he said introducing you to them.
“Hi lovely to meet you” you said and smiled at them. “Nice to meet you, we’ve heard lots about you. H doesn’t stop banging on about you when he’s home” Ryan teased.
“I mean wouldn’t you, look at her. She’s a stunner” Harry said and you blushed. Gemma leaned into you and whispered “you can tell who’s the more sociable one out of me and Harry can’t you” you laughed at her. Harry could have a conversation with a brick wall if he had to.
You chatted with Gemma and Anne a little until it was time for the ceremony. The bride looked absolutely beautiful, her flower girls were adorable and her bridesmaids looked amazing. You couldn’t wait until this was you one day.
“I now pronounce you, husband and wife” the celebrant said to officiate their marriage. You all clapped and Harry leaned in towards you “that’ll be us one day babe” you smiled at the thought and continued to clap for the happy couple.
Walking out of the church and waiting for the bride and groom to get their photos taken, you and Harry mingled with the other guests.
He introduced you to a few more of his family members, all of which made you feel very welcome. Harry was asked if he wouldn’t mind being in some photos for a couple of people who weren’t in the family, friends of the bride and groom more so who didn’t know him, and because he was in his happy place, surrounded by family, he was more than happy to oblige.
“Let me get one of you two!” Anne said as she took your phone out of your hand.
“Harry stand with y/n will you” she shouted to him as he was distracted by talking to someone else. He looked over and joined you at your side, wrapping his arm around your back and his hand falling onto your waist.
“Smile!” Anne said before taking the photo. She captured a few and admired them “you two are just the loveliest couple” she said handing you the phone back. You looked at it and smiled, Harry had a slight smile on his face in the picture but he looked genuinely happy.
“That’s my new lock screen I think” you told him as you walked together towards the reception area.
Luckily at the reception, you were sat at a table with Anne, Darren, Gemma and Michal again, with another 2 of the bride’s extended family. After the meal, Harry insisted on getting shots for the table. Whenever he was at a wedding, it was a tradition he started to always get a shot of tequila after the meal. It served no purpose other than getting him more drunk, more easily. He’d only had 3 pints at this stage but you could tell he was becoming tipsy as he was becoming more and more affectionate, sliding his hand up your thigh with you pushing it away as you’re sure another wedding guest saw him do it.
The bride and groom had their first dance before inviting everyone else up to the dance floor. You and Harry remained sitting at a table, now with some of his aunts and uncles talking about life, when suddenly you both heard the all too familiar main riff of “Man, I feel like a woman” playing to which you and Harry looked at each other.
“We can’t not” he said as he stood up, grabbing your hand to pull you up. “You gotta dance to Shania” he said and at this point in the night, you’d had a few wines and a few shots so you were feeling more than ready for a dance with your boyfriend now.
You chuckled as he led you up to the dance floor, him dad dancing as he made his way up.
“The best thing about being a woman, is the prerogative to have a little fun” you and Harry screamed out over the top of the music as you danced away together, him showing off some rather questionable moves but all in all, you were both having an amazing time.
You danced the whole night after that, with Harry buying everyone another tequila shot, and another and another.
It was 1am when you decided to call it a night, not only because you were done in, but because Harry’s bank account was being rinsed with the £1,200 he’d spent on shots alone that night for the whole wedding.
Luckily, you had booked a room in the hotel where the bride and groom had the reception party so it just meant having to help a very drunk Harry up the 3 flights of stairs. You knew he should have stopped after his 10th pint and 3rd tequila shot but 3 more pints and 4 shots later, Harry’s legs were failing to carry him up the stairs.
You were drunk yourself, giggling quietly as you helped to drag him up the stairs.
“Y/n” Harry would slur as he slowly made his way up the stairs. “Shhh” you would say as you passed the rooms of other guests who were probably sound asleep and didn’t want to be woken up by some 29 year old drunk man.
“Y/n, wwhen can we have a wedding?” He slurred. “Let’s get you in and we can talk about it” you said still trying to get him to the correct room.
“Y/n” he dragged out your name as he giggled “what?” You laughed back, you were almost in as much of a drunken state as he was.
“I love you baby. I love you so much”
“I love you too. But I’d love you even more if you were in the room so move your ass” you said slapping his bum which seemed to sober him up for a brief second and gain some speed as he made his way up the stairs.
After what seemed like forever, you two made it into the hotel room and collapsed on the bed. Harry had taken his suit jacket off at this point and was now lying in just his trousers and tank top with his hands above his head. God did he look good drunk.
You felt the side of your dress being pulled “Take this off” you heard Harry say to you.
“You take it off” you said to him. “Y/n, if I could I would. Please just take it off and-“ he trailed off mid sentence and you looked over to see him falling asleep on the bed.
You laughed at his drunken state and decided to call it a night. Taking your own dress off, you removed your makeup and went back through to see Harry in the same position you had left him.
You pulled out a bottle of water and sat it on his side of the bed because you were sure he would need it when he woke up in the morning. You took off his trousers and left him in his boxers and put the cover over him so he wasn’t too cold. You got in beside him and laid your leg over his thigh and rested your hand on his chest, feeling comforted as you felt his chest slowly rise and fall.
As you lay there, you reflected on the day and how comfortable his whole family made you feel. You couldn’t wait to become a real part of the Styles family.
“Could you brush my hair...? Style it perhaps, the Northern way?”
You want to dress the traditional style of their people if you want them to have a reason to favor you.
Sara grins and nods quickly, already reaching for the brush on the nearby table.
"Of course, Princess. I'd be honored to style your hair. Just have a seat, and I'll have you looking Northern in no time!”
You take a seat on the chair in front of the vanity, and Sara moves behind you. She gently runs the brush through your hair, as she gathers sections, braiding and twisting it in a traditional Northern style.
Sara hums gently as she works, her fingers moving with practiced ease as she styles your hair. Every now and then, she glances up to study her work in the mirror, making sure the braids and knots are in their rightful places.
"You have very lovely hair, Princess. It's a pleasure to style it."
“Thank you it looks lovely Sara.”
She finishes the last braid and gives it a final twist, securing it in place with a small pin. She steps back, a satisfied smile on her face as she admires her work. She glances at your reflection in the mirror, her eyes sparkling with pride and satisfaction.
"There. All done, Princess. You look like a proper Northerner now!"
You stand from, pleased with the finished product, smiling ear to ear.
Sara takes a step back, her eyes sweeping over you from head to toe, taking in your now-styled hair and laced corset.
"Absolutely gorgeous," she murmurs, her tone filled with approval and appreciation.
She can't help but smile back at your radiant expression, feeling very satisfied with her contribution to your appearance. However, a knowing sparkle in her eye betrays the fact that she's just dying to ask...
"May I ask who it is you're getting all dolled up for, Princess?"
Of course she’s caught on.
“Dolled up? Why this is quite casual, is it not?” You get up, crossing the room to put on the pelts to large, given to you by Cregan the previous night.
Sara giggles and rolls her eyes, unable to hide her knowing smile. She follows you across the room as you move to don the pelts, her eyebrow raised in slight suspicion.
"Oh, of course. I can definitely see how getting your hair braided and fussing over a corset can be 'quite casual,' How silly of me Princess!”
“Oh quiet about him. I’d just like to be presentable, in case townspeople see me…”
It’s quite an obvious lie
Sara is clearly not convinced by your flimsy excuse, but decides to tease you a bit more anyway.
"And does this have anything to do with the fact that Cregan is waiting outside, looking oh so impatient to see you?"
Right on the money
“No…A Princess should look the part at all times, is all…”
"Of course, Princess...”
“Id planned this outfit before I came North. So yes it’s pure coincidence.”
No royal ever packs their own bags so clearly, another lie.
She looks you up and down one more time, taking in the complete picture of you in your Northern-style hair, corset, and pelts.
"Well, I'll admit, Princess, you look absolutely stunning. I don't think Cregan will be able to keep his eyes off you." She winks playfully, laughing at the heat creeping onto your cheeks.
“Sara Shh!! He’s right outside the door!!”
BECAUSE I APPARENTLY WRITE ANGST TOO HEARTBREAKING, HERE IS AN ALTERNATIVE VERSION FOR BRUCE TO GET HIS HAPPY ENDING
Original Version
Time came around for you to arrive at the manor and everyone was practically bouncing in their seats in excitement
The moment the doorbell sounded through the halls, all the kids stood up
Bruce told them all to wait there as him and Alfred went to go open the door to let you in
There you stood in your best outfit as Bruce welcomed you inside with a smile while introducing you to Alfred
Alfred gave a polite nod while saying that the whole family has been so excited to offically meet you
Alfred goes to make sure the table is set for everyone as Bruce begins to guide you towards the living room
The moment you came into view there was a chorus of 'hello's that came the group before they each began to introduce themselves
Barbara, Stephanie, Dick, and even Cass went up to give you a hug while the others politely waved
Damian subtlety walked over to Bruce as the cheerleader squad already began to ask for the story of your life
Damian leaned towards his father as he whispered, "This one seems like a very suitable compared to the others you've accompanied yourself with."
Bruce chuckled softly while patting his son on the shoulder, glad to have his verbal approval
Alfred called for everyone to come to the dining room so they could talk more over dinner
Everyone happily showed you which spot beside Bruce you could sit in as the others took their own spots around the table
The chatter is casual as everyone eats, saying that they had put all their effort into making a meal you would like
You tell them that it is a very nice meal and you appreciated the effort they had put into it for the night
Everything goes quiet for a moment as the children take in the praise that was given to them
Jason suddenly pipes up as he looks over at you with a knowing smirk on his face. "Did you know that Bruce still has the first drawing you did on his coffee cup in one of his desk drawers?"
Bruce drops his fork in embarrassment as he sends Jason a intense look as a way to tell him to be quiet
Barbara excitedly added that it was the only way they knew how to find you to begin with anyways
Cass commented on Bruce having just been randomly 'peppy' in the mornings so they wanted to find out and they weren't actively trying to snoop in his business, which Dick quickly said they that's exactly what they all had done
Bruce quickly tells them to stop talking about it with a flustered look on his face before everyone went back to eating
It lasted for all of 10 seconds before Tim quietly added, "He has one in the car's glove compartment as well."
Everyone looses their shit over that revelation while you cover the smile on your face while looking over at Bruce. Softly assuring him that you thought it was kinda sweet
Bruce kept his gaze down as he told them all he was going to change his locks on both his desk and drawers in the morning
Alfred came walking in with a tray of cupcakes with decorative frosting and placing it in the center
All the girls excitedly tell you they had made the frosting from scratch themselves and paid extra care to make the flowers on them
You smile while taking one of the cupcakes as you admire the design before taking a bite
A hum of approval comes from you as you look at them with an eager nod
The kids get their own cupcakes from the try before talking to one another for a moment
Bruce turned towards you with a grin on his face as you stared back at him while the attention wasn't focused just on you
Bruce reached his hand out to take hold of yours on the table while rubbing his thumb over your knuckle as you just stare at one another
Stephanie quickly takes a picture on her phone before going back to her conversation with Jason and Tim
When everyone was done with their cupcakes, the kids helped clear the table as Bruce takes you to the living room to sit down on the couch together for a moment alone
Bruce expresses his apologies for how the kids had acted for a few times throughout the dinner
You quickly assured him it was fine and were expecting something to that extent anyways
The both of you lean back on the cushion as Bruce pulls you into his side, placing a soft kiss to the top of your head
"I'm glad you could come. All of the kids already seem to adore you. Though, it wasn't too hard for a few of them."
You give a small chuckle while turning your head to give him a soft peck on his cheek
You tell him that you found them all sweet, in their own way, and you were glad to have finally met them all
It goes quiet for a moment before you ask, "Did you really keep the coffee sleeves that I drew on?"
A soft groan comes from Bruce as he leaned his head back on the couch
You gave a small laugh while softly teasing him on how many more he had. Asking if he wanted you to draw some more so he could make his own collection
Bruce grabbed the back of your neck to give you a kiss to make you stop talking about it
You gently kiss back while bringing your hand to his cheek to return the kiss
"Children coming into the room! Please make sure all clothes are on! We don't need any images of undres to be burned in our minds!"
You pull away laughing as Jason yells that from the other room before everyone came walking in
A few of them laughing along as they see Bruce's flustered expression as he rubs his temple
The girls go to your side of the couch and begin asking if next time you would want to do a movie night with them all
The boys go to the other side while just stare at Bruce with knowing expressions
You assure them that you would love to spend more time with them the next time that you come over but you sadly did have to leave since you had work tomorrow
Sounds of disappointing come from all around as you stand up
Bruce gets up as well while saying that he will walk you out
"Alone," he adds before any of the others can fully get up from their spots to come along
When you both get to the door, Bruce tells you how he was glad you were able to make it and he would need to have you over again soon
Mostly cause the kids would bug him until you came back
You smile while agreeing because it was such a fun night
The two of you share a small kiss goodnight before you finally walked out the door, promising to tell him when you got home
Bruce smiles as he makes sure you get in the car before finally closing the door
He walks back into the living room to see everyone patiently waiting for him
They all have smiles as they look back at Bruce as if waiting for some kind of special news
This time, it's Dick that speaks up with a smirk on his face
"So... are you gonna get married to them, or do we have to ask for you again?"
Poly!Marauders – Drink up
Anon: hi cutie, i love your writing <3 i was wondering if you could do casual dominance with poly!marauders? tysm
Yes omg I love casual dominance, I'm not super experienced so it didn't end up being very long, but I think it's something I might want to build on!!
Masterlist.
Tumblr media
“Here you go, pup, drink up.”
You were handed a large glass of water and urged to drink it. This was normal for you, you had better listen to your daddies when they told you something, or else you’d be punished. Taking the glass, you drank all of it, before handing it back to Sirius. They wanted what was best for you, and always took care of you.
“Baby, come here,” James said, patting his knee. You stalked over, plopping down and wrapping your arms around his shoulders. He was usually in charge of the cooking, and therefore got the benefits of helping you with breakfast. Cutting up the banana pancakes, he blew cold air on them before moving the fork up to your mouth. You could eat on your own, and you did, sometimes, like when there were others around or when you felt like it, though usually, you were at least partly fed all your meals. “Good girl, eating so well for us, love you.”
“I love you too, Jamie,” you said, giggling at him and his lovestruck face.
When it was time to leave for the day as you all had somewhere to be, work, uni or other, Sirius helped you pick out an outfit, which had to be approved by Remus, before he helped you with your makeup and James tied your laces. Most of the time it was lovely being spoiled like this, never having to make your own decisions.
Other times, it was really irritating. On Tuesdays, the gang gathered for tacos and tequilas, something everyone enjoyed. When the group made its way to the third bar, however, you were handed a bottle of water and told to drink as “we don’t want you having any headaches tomorrow.” There was one issue, though.
“But, daddy, I’ve gotta… go,” you squirmed, trying to avoid the bottle in Remus’ hand, as well as his gaze. When going out, they’d always order for you, pay for you, and make sure you were very comfortable – except they still had their dominance over you, as their little girl, you had no say.
Chuckling, Remus wrapped his arms around your waist, and squeezed. It almost hurt, your bladder so full it might explode, but having an accident in the line for the bar was too embarrassing to handle. “Daddy, please stop,” you begged, quietly, not wanting anyone else to hear. He only chuckled at you, holding you close.
“Five more minutes, dove, and half the bottle, then you can go,” he said, mockingly.
Family Ties
I love that the fandom sees Carmy as a girl dad who practices gentle parenting. Gentle parenting is a great parenting style, don't get me wrong. Personally, I can see him butting heads with his teenage daughter like he wants her to express herself- but he also knows that teenage boys are weird and would want to protect her at all costs. This was just a thought I had a couple of days ago, and once I started, I couldn't stop. More Dad!Carmy content to come...
Tumblr media
A/N: I didn't realize until I copy pasted this from my Google Drive. This was 6 freakin pages. I like longer fics, I'm sorry.
The Bear Masterlist
Tumblr media
Carmy was furious. It took a lot of effort for him to ‘gentle parent’ with you when the kids, Grace and Oliver, were little. Now that both kids are in high school, he wishes he had been harder on them. You reassure him that the two of you have great kids, both work hard in school, participate in extracurricular activities, and aren’t afraid to talk to them about anything - he insisted he should have been harder on them, especially when he gets calls from the school about Oliver getting suspended… again.
Oliver was 15, and Carmy was convinced he was Mikey's reincarnation. Like you had, he did well in school, but he was Mikey in every other aspect of life. He just needed to get his head out of his ass before out-of-school suspension became stints in jail.
As Carmy walked down the hall to the principal’s office, he saw Oliver sitting on a bench talking to Grace- Grace, his little girl, granted she wasn’t as little anymore. She’s 17 and looked exactly like you when you were her age- except she had gotten his eyes. “Oliver.” Carmy barked, getting his attention.
Grace looked at her brother nervously. Carmy wasn’t the kind of Dad to ‘approve’ of her clothing, but he’d fight her on it occasionally, especially regarding crop tops and dresses. It came from a place of caring and not wanting his little girl to get hurt, but Carmy could take it too far.
 Carmy noticed Grace turning the opposite way to get away from the Berzatto boys,
“Grace? Shouldn’t you be in class or somethin’?” Carmy questioned; she stopped in her tracks, knowing Carmy wasn’t in the best mood. She turned around and hoped he was too mad, Oliver, to notice the cropped corset she’d worn to school that day. It’s not like she’d worn it to get a guy to notice her; she’d just liked the contrast of its light green color with her baggy jeans, and she was supposed to match outfits with the rest of the dance team that day so he couldn’t be mad at it- especially since he’d encouraged her to join the dance team freshman year. “Someone texted me that Oli was out here- just wanted to make sure no one beat my baby brother’s ass.” she laughed. Carmy shot her his classic ‘I’m your father, I know when you’re lying look’ but shook his head; he was not ready to deal with that. “Put on a sweater.” Grace nodded at Carmy’s casual dislike of her top, “Yes, sir.”
Initially, Carmy was going to let it slide. He knew Grace was 17, she was going to college next year, and he wouldn’t be able to encourage her to make the right decision anymore, but while she was under his roof, she’d live by his rules. You laughed when he brought it up to you that night in bed. “Carmy, she’s a good kid. Gracie has good grades. She has good friends. She works; if she wants to wear a crop top, she can wear a crop top.” Carmy sighed. He saw the point you’d been trying to make with that explanation but wasn’t happy.
Grace hoped Carmy wouldn’t bring up her wardrobe, but unfortunately, she was wrong. Carmy had hired an older brother of one of Grace’s friends at The Bear- that’s how he’d found out about Grace’s non-family Instagram account. She hadn’t posted anything too scandalous; there were some pictures from parties where she was holding a red Solo cup, a few from a dance competition after-party where she’d been wearing something Carmy wouldn’t have allowed her to leave the house in, and of course the soft launch of her relationship. He was seething; you hadn’t known about the account either- you’d heard Grace talk to her cousins about a boy she liked, but the drinking and parties also surprised you.
“Carmy, you neeeeed to be careful with how you speak to Grace about this,” you emphasized through the phone. Of course, this would come up when you were out of town. “Baby, I’ll handle it.” “Carmen Anthony Berzatto. Do not, I repeat, do not shame our daughter. You can tell her you’re unhappy-” “I’ll handle it.” he hung up, and you knew you’d be walking into a shit storm when you returned home.
“Fuck off, Dad!” Grace screamed as she slammed her bedroom door. To say Carmy mishandled the situation would be an understatement; he stood outside Grace’s door, immediately regretting what he’d said about Grace. He questioned her character; he knew she was a good kid; he wanted to knock on her door and apologize, but Grace didn’t want to hear it.
Oliver sat in his bedroom and heard Carmy and Grace yell at each other throughout the weekend. He laughed when he realized Carmy double-downed on what he’d initially said about Grace ‘not being that kind of girl.’ and how people would ‘never take her seriously’ when he dropped the word ‘whore’ he knew there would be hell when you came home. The front door slammed, and he heard Carmy yell ‘fuck’ and slam a door. He looked out his bedroom window to see Grace running up the street. Oliver sighed and fished his phone out of his pocket; “Oli fuck off.” Grace huffed before immediately hanging up on him. He rolled his eyes and dialed your number. “Hi baby, everything okay?” “Nope.”
The house was antagonistic. Carmy was pissed at himself, you and Grace were also pissed at him, and Oliver managed to sink into the background. The family dinners you’d shared were typically full of conversation and life, but tonight was awkwardly silent. Oliver decided he’d take a crack at making it better, “Uncle Richie got to 100 Instagram followers. He’s pretty excited about it.” no one took the bait. He poked at the chicken on his plate, “Good dinner, am I right?” he grinned, looking around the table. Grace rolled her eyes and stood up from the table, “Grace?” you called after her. She ignored your question and went upstairs. “Well, I think it’s a good dinner- conversation wasn’t the best, but… we’ll get through it.” Oliver tried to lighten the tension in the room, but he inevitably failed, and Carmy told him to go to his room. Oliver obliged, taking his and Grace’s plates to the sink before shuffling upstairs. He walked past Grace’s room on the way. He paused and stood before the door; it was too quiet. He knocked softly before opening the door; she was gone.
“I just don’t know what to say to him. I’m pissed.” Grace vented as she lay beside Eva in the park by her apartment, “My dad was the same way, except he threw my clothes away. My mom ripped him a new one over it.” “Should I accept his apology and move out as soon as possible?” Eva shook her head and laughed at the suggestion. “Gracie, you know what you need to do.” Grace sighed, knowing her cousin was right. She sat up and pushed her hair back. “I’m gonna hide out at Danny’s house. Cover for me?” “Of course. Don’t get pregnant.”
“Gracie girl? Can I come in, honey?” you asked outside her door, but there was no response. “Baby, please?” you asked again. “She’s not home,” Oliver said, walking past you to the bathroom. “What do you mean she’s not home?” he shrugged. “I guess she snuck out after dinner.”. You pinched the bridge of your nose in frustration before walking into your and Carmy’s bedroom, “You have to fix this, Carmen.” you scolded in your best mom voice he’d heard a thousand times, granted it was typically directed at one of the kids. “Baby, how can-” “Carmen. If you ever want to be inside me again, you’ll fix this.” Carmy leaned back against the headboard; he didn’t think something like this could be fixed.
“Oh, hi, Grace.” Danny’s mom greeted her when she realized she was sitting on the couch with Danny. “Hi, Mrs. De Luca.” she smiled back, “How are you, sweetheart?” Grace shrugged at the question, “Been better.” “Oh, I’m sorry, Grace,” she frowned before turning her attention to her son “Danny. I need you to take Annie to school tomorrow morning, okay? I’m doin’ an overnight.” Danny nodded in acknowledgment. She smiled again and quickly ran out of the house, leaving Danny and Grace in the living room and Danny’s sister Annie upstairs, tucked into bed.
“So. What’s goin on with you?” Danny finally asked. He wasn’t mad that she’d come over unannounced, but it was obvious that Grace had been crying. Grace shrugged at the question, “Guess I just wanted to see you.” Danny scoffed. “Grace. Com’ on. You only come over on weeknights when you’re upset.” “Do not.” Grace challenged, leaning into his side. “I will tickle it out of you, baby. You should just tell me what’s up.” he insisted, sitting up slightly. Grace groaned and sat up, bringing her knees to her chest. She told him that she and Carmy were fighting about her ‘secret online life that everyone can see’ and how ‘she’s not that kind of girl,’ so why was she pretending to be? She was hesitant to include the part where Carmy had called her a whore, but as she looked at Danny’s sympathetic face, she couldn’t hold back. “The house is awkward- Oli tried to make a joke out of it, but it was just so fuckin’ annoying. I’m just disappointed in myself… he’s never mad at me, Danny.” Danny nodded. “I get that. What me to beat him up for callin’ you a whore? You know I will.” Grace rolled her eyes. “You’re lucky you’re cute.”
Carmy sat outside on the porch smoking when he saw headlights coming in his direction; it was almost 2 in the morning. He sighed and took a final puff before ashing his cigarette. He assumed it was Grace, and he was correct. He heard her say her goodbyes to whoever dropped her off and waited for her to come up the driveway. “Hi, Grace.” he greeted, his lips pulling into a tight line due to their growing awkwardness. “Dad,” she responded, crossing her arms over her stomach. “Where were you?” “With Eva.” Carmy nodded. “Can I talk to you?” Grace shrugged and moved closer to Carmy. “I want to apologize, Gracie. I shouldn’t have said that about you. You have a good head on those shoulders- but I don’t want you to get hurt. Girls who posted stuff like that online when I was 17… you know what happened. Rumors and shit- I just don’t want people doin' that to you.” he explained, scratching at the back of his neck. Grace nodded, taking in what he’d said. “I understand, but I’m not a little girl anymore, Dad. I can handle myself; if I can’t, Danny has my back.” Carmy nodded, “We good?” he asked, looking down at Grace. He smiled when he saw her pulling her sleeves over her hands like when she was a little girl and felt uneasy. “We’re good.” Grace agreed. Carmy brought her into a lazy hug and kissed the top of her head. “I love you, always.” Grace smiled and hugged Carmy back, “I love you too, Dad.”
As the two went inside, Carmy remembered something she’d said, “Who’s Danny?” Grace stopped and looked up at Carmy cautiously. “Uh… he’s my- my boyfriend…”
SR Riddle Rosehearts - Beach Wear Voice Lines
Due to event restrictions, Groovy related lines are locked until the event has been cleared. I will update once these are unlocked. Login line has been captured.
Tumblr media
Summon Line: What is this place...? No, but before that, it is a grave matter to leave campus without prior approval! We must leave as soon as possible!
Groooovy!!: I cannot deny that spending time on the beach would be a valuable experience. I suppose I can join you all for a little bit.
Home: I feel ill at ease...
Home Idle 1: If I'm not mistaken, these are coconuts, yes? Then there should be some juice inside... I'll have to craft a tool to carve a hole into it.
Home Idle 2: That creature called Stitch... I saw it eating some metal earlier. Can it even digest that properly...?
Home Idle 3: Jack said that Stitch is definitely not a dog. I do agree with him, but I wouldn't know what to say if you were to ask me what he actually is...
Home Idle - Login: It's rather hot on this island... Even while I am idly standing by, I can still feel sweat start to drip. I shall go rest in the tree shade.
Home Idle - Groovy: Having dinner with everyone while gazing at a sunset on the beach like this… This must be what it means to go on vacation. This is the first time I've experienced anything like this.
Home Tap 1: I never expected to ever wear something this casual... This is an outrageous outfit, even my belly button is showing!
Home Tap 2: I don't mind if it's thyme, or mint, or something else, but I need you to go and search for some herbs. I must drink some herbal tea before the daybreak!
Home Tap 3: It seems as though the banana blossoms that Azul picked for us are edible... And yet the color gives me doubt.
Home Tap 4: Lilia-senpai is rather skilled at crafting makeshift cots as well as using stones to make cooktops. I wonder where he could have learned such things.
Home Tap 5: I cannot get on well together with Stitch. He's much too freewheeling... If he were a Heartslabyul student, it would have already been off with his head.
Home Tap - Groovy: Wah!? Why did you just splash me!? …This is the proper way to play in the ocean? I… I didn't realize that was the proper etiquette.
CHAPTER TWO | THE PARTY & THE AFTER PARTY
Warnings: Literally do not know..
A/N: I wanted this chapter to be longer but I also wanted you guys to get an update.
Jenna Ortega x G!P Reader
Tumblr media
"No! Emma! You're not listening." Jenna yells at her from the other side of the phone, and the other side of the country as well.
"How am I not listening?" Emma asks, attempting her best to not laugh at the situation. Jenna had been on the phone with her since 9 PM, it's currently 12.
"Because!" Jenna scoffs, throwing her arms around like a maniac. Emma covers her mouth with her hand, laughing into it.
Jenna's eyes whip to her screen. "How the hell is this funny?!" Emma shakes her head and her hands, "It's not! It's not! I promise."
"Why are you stressing so hard? It's just an outfit?" Jenna groans at the girl's words, "I want this date to be perfect."
"And it will be, Jen. So relax..." Jenna takes in a breath, visibly relaxing. "And put on that outfit." Jenna smiles at her best friend, who immediately smiles back.
Little did Jenna know you the same thing was happening on your side?
"Jack! Is this too much?" Jack looks up from his phone, "Yes!" He immediately says, standing up from the couch.
"Dude. Why are you wearing a suit?" You scan your outfit, "Because this is a date?"
"No, no, no." He undoes your tie, "Take this off, you're just walking around downtown. It's not like you're going out with the president."
You throw your head back, groaning out loudly. "Fine."
"What a silly individual." Jack laughs to himself, sitting back down, waiting for you to show him your new, and hopefully improved outfit.
You come back out in shorts and a shirt, Jack shakes his head, "Too casual."
You go back, changing again.
"Paparazzi will notice you from a mile away, too flashy."
And again. "Uhh, too boring."
Again. "I don't know. I'm just not feeling it."
"Boring! Next!"
But finally. Jack approves of your outfit when you step into your living room, "Wow!" He stands up, clapping his hands together.
"This outfit is brilliant," He wipes a fake tear, "I'm so proud of you, daughter." You bit down on your lip, holding back your laughter as Jack continues with his performance.
"You're all grown up." He places a hand on your shoulder, bringing you into a hug.
He pulls away, smiling. "But in all seriousness. You look great! I'm excited," You smile back at your best friend.
"Me too." Jack pinches your cheek, making you send him a slight glare before slapping his hand away.
"Ouch." He mutters, rubbing his hand. "We should rehearse." He then suggests, you scratch your eyebrows confused. "Rehearse? For what?"
"For what you're going to say to Jenna?" He says like it's the most obvious thing in the world, "You can't just go out there unprepared." He adds on.
"Okay. Fine. I guess?" You agree, Jack motions for you to sit down as he stands up in front of you.
"Okay! Okay! I'm Jenna and you're you." He informs you may be a little too excited.
"Hey, Y/N. You look great. As always." Jack says in a slightly high-pitched voice, mocking Jenna while he twirls his long imaginary hair.
"Ummm... Thank-" You burst out laughing, Jack stares at you seriously, hand on his hip.
"Focus!" You wave your hands in front of your face, "Jack. I can't take you seriously."
"Jack? My name is Jenna, Y/N." You laugh again and Jack can't help but join in.
Your phone vibrates in your pocket, and suddenly you're extremely nervous. Jack watches you pull out your phone with a slight smile on his face, once you read the messages your eyes meet his.
"She's outside." You stand up, repeating yourself. "Jack! She's fucking outside!"
"I know." He replies, finally removing his hands from his hips. You walk to the door, Jack following right behind you.
"Y/N." You turn around at Jack's words, facing him as you put your phone in your pocket. "Don't be nervous be yourself."
You nod at his words, trying to calm yourself down. You could really use a smoke right now. But again, this whole thing was so you could quit smoking.
Jack's hand reaches to your cheek, but before he could pinch it you slap it away. "Enough." He laughs giving you one last pat before you exit your apartment, and slowly make your way downstairs slowly because you were nervous but, surely indeed.
Once you exit the building your eyes land on Jenna immediately, your heart starts racing, but at the same time you feel relaxed, Jenna smiles at you and it makes her even more inviting than ever.
"Hey," She smiles, engulfing you in a hug. You immediately reciprocate it. Due to your height difference, her head lays on your chest as her arms wrap around your waist, she pulls away, but a hand stays on your waist.
"Hey Jenna, you look great. As always." You mentally slap yourself for repeating Jack's words. Jenna laughs, "Well... thank you. So do you."
You flash a smile, muttering out a thanks before you two enter the car together, it looked like the same SUV Jack had picked you up from that night.
Once the two of you are seated the driver pulls off.
You faintly hear The Weeknd playing in the background as Jenna explains her date idea to you, "Are you listening?"
You met her eyes, shaking your head. "Of course... not. Yeah, I wasn't."
"Dude. I'm about to kick you out and make you walk." Jenna jokes, you dramatically drop your jaw in shock. "Wowww! So you'd want a sweaty date?"
"It'll help you learn to listen." You shake your head, still laughing. "You can't expect me to listen while The Weeknd is playing."
"Oh shit!" If it's possible Jenna's smile widens, "You know this song?"
Girl, bring your friends, if you want we can share. Or keep it simple, baby, we can just— ride with it, ride with it...
"Yeah! It's like one of my favourite songs in my playlist." Jenna scoots closer to you, pulling out her phone. "Here show me your playlist."
You pull up Spotify, typing in your username before handing the phone back.
You watch Jenna scroll through your playlists with a smile on her face, "Here let's listen to this one."
Kali Uchis then plays through the car speakers, Ooh, never thought I would be without you...
The rest of the car ride was enjoyable, you and Jenna spent the whole time singing, dancing, and talking about your favourite songs, bands, artists and other things of that nature.
You get out of the SUV, holding the door open for Jenna, she thanks you before resuming her sentence. "— I've always wanted to play guitar or piano, but the cello is also fun."
"Oh, yeah! I remember hearing you say you learned the cello for Wednesday." You say, not really thinking about what came out of your mouth.
Jenna smiles at you, you walk by her side and finally look at her after noticing the silence. And that's when it hits you. Jenna herself never told you that, you heard her say that from an interview.
"Oh, my god." You mumble and Jenna laughs, placing an arm on your bicep. "No— it's kind of cute that you watch my interviews."
You cover your face with your hands, "Bro! That is so embarrassing." She laughs again, removing her hand to hold her stomach slightly.
"This date is officially cancelled." You joke, removing your hands from your face, Jenna's hand is back on your arm, and you don't miss the slight increase in your heartbeat.
"Okay! If it makes you feel better," Jenna starts off, clearing her throat. "I found your Instagram."
Your eyes widen, and you let out a small laugh. "How on earth did you find my Instagram!" She subconsciously squeezes your arm, "Y/N, I actually like went through Jack's following and found it."
She continues as you watch her with a huge smile on your face. "And I sat in my bed and scrolled until I got to 2016."
Your mouth opens slightly, "WHEN I HAD MY BRACES?" You nearly shout, a few people walking by look back at you, either scared or confused. Jenna can't help but laugh extremely loud, bringing herself closer to you if that was possible.
With joy you eye her, as her eyes shut, her dimple takes shape with a massive smile on her face.
"Yes! You looked so innocent!" She gushes, and the smiles are permanent on your faces. "You know when you looked innocent?" Jenna hums in response, grinning up at you. "When you wore that SHOOK shirt to the Spider-man Homecoming red carpet."
Jenna gasps, "There's no way you know about that!" You laugh, "And since you wanna stalk my Instagram, I'll make it easier for you and make you my profile picture."
You pull out your phone, instantly going to Google, looking up 'Jenna Ortega Shook Outfit.'
"Dude!" She yells laughing, attempting to grab your phone. You raise it so she can't reach it.
"If you do that then you've become my profile picture as well!" You pause, holding up your hand in surrender. "I surrender!"
"You better." Jenna looks at a shop to her left, which has a big sign reading, Fun Hats. Your match Jenna's line of sight before speaking up, "We should definitely buy some hats."
She sends you a quick smile, letting go of your arm, and you quickly miss her touch, but it surprises you when she then interlocks your hands, dragging you along with her to the store.
Hand in hand you and Jenna search throughout the isles, stopping every now and then to try one of them on. You're near the back of the store, and all of the hats have a match.
Jenna picks up the hotdog hat, laughing and you pick up the burger with a grin on your face.
She turns to you adjusting her hat, you reach out to help her before fixing your own. "I need to get a picture of this." She giggles, you by her side when she finds a mirror taking a picture of the two of you.
"Now this. This is Instagram-worthy," You say, jokingly, but Jenna nods her head seriously. "Can I post this?"
"You don't have—" She cuts you off, "I want to. We look cute." Your face heats up, but you play it off shrugging. "Sure then."
Your phone vibrates and when you pull it out, Instagram has notified you of a tag.
melissabarreram you guys are so cute
lucas_hevean22 who is that lol
"I guess we do look kind of cute." You say as you put your phone away, Jenna does the same. "We do."
"Here let's go buy these," Jenna connects your hands again, walking to the register to pay for your matching hats.
Even if you two looked like complete idiots, you both didn't care. You didn't know why you were so nervous earlier, Jenna had managed to calm you down the second you laid eyes with each other, and she absolutely makes your heart race.
Jenna makes you feel alive, cliche, yes, but it's true. You honestly can't stop laughing, nor smiling when you're around her and she was right about being a professional, you were so comfortable and peaceful you weren't even thinking about smoking.
The feeling was mutual. With you, it felt as if Jenna could finally get a breath of fresh air, no media involved. She could be herself, and joke around with you like she had no worries in life.
Her love language was physical touch and she could not keep her hands off of you. Whether it be holding your arm, holding your hand, or your hands ever so slightly touching as you walked side by side.
Your date had ended by the time the street lights were on, Jenna and you were back in front of your apartment, right where you had first greeted each other.
"I really enjoyed today," You tell Jenna. She smiles up at you. "Told you I'm a professional." You playfully roll your eyes.
There's a comfortable silence in the air.
Jenna comes closer, embracing you in a hug. You hug back, rubbing her back gently. She pulls away ever so slightly, staring into your eyes and then glancing at your lips.
You feel the tension, and you want to kiss her you really do but.
"There's six more dates to go." You say softly, "No need to try and kiss me on the first one." You joke, letting out a chuckle.
Jenna laughs, pulling away and placing a hand on your chest. "That is true. You don't hear these hear turning?" She says, pointing at her head.
"I'm going to get my kiss, Y/N." She backs up, pointing at you. You watch the brunette walk away backwards, looking at you before turning around completely.
"Good night, Jenna!" You yell out as she gets inside the SUV.
f1wags After a brief hiatus from social media, y/n makes a cameo on her friend's IG Live today! In today's live, she spilled the beans on some questions about her christmas holiday in Australia and the short getaway in Japan with Oscar. She couldn't help but gush about the incredible experience—her first time in Australia. Oscar played the perfect tour guide, showing her around his hometown and introducing her to his family. He also told us about their short getaway in Japan. Y/N explained that they haven't seen each other for more than two weeks as Oscar is already back to work—busy with meetings, simulator sessions, and prepping for the upcoming F1 season at the McLaren Technology Centre, and she have to return to her work and projects too.
And can we just say, we're glad the couple is still in good terms after the recent not-so-great rumors?
Note
I've started and deleted this sentence several times now and don't really know how to begin. So let's just go for it and say seriously WHAT THE FUCK has been the last 6 months!? My mind is a clusterfuck rn. I love L and N but they are seriously debilitating. Like I've been see-sawing between casual nonchalance about everything saying "haha this is great ride, what's next in store?" to just confused exasperation and emotional fatigue. I don't even know these people, and yet I am so fucking invested. This has never happened to me. They are like a drug. Seriously, whatever they are selling, I will buy 10 of everything, pump it into my veins. Why is my kink now seeing them get married, have kids and L be a stay-at-home daddy while N rules the fucking world?! N, alone, has me questioning my sexuality. Then I remember L is there, and I go oh yeah him too. Them is my sexuality. It's so messy. Anyway, now to the point of this. I had some flashbacks while watching L's Loewe Vogue video today. Watching his groomer give him a lovely face and head massage instantly transported me to Ireland with the infamous forehead stroke. Honestly, imo, the biggest turning point of the whole tour. So much happened before this time, but I really do think this moment was critical. I will outline why.
Obviously, Ireland was a massive deal for N. The excitement of getting back home and meeting family and friends, the amazing reception, it was special. She talked ad nauseam about her mum meeting L and honestly all I could think was when has anyone been excited/nervous about their parents meeting just a friend? You feel that certain way because you're wanting approval, you're wanting them to feel the same way you do about that person and welcome them into the family, as it were. I've never felt that way with friends, but I had done with my boyfriend (now husband). But maybe that's just me? L didn't seem as caught up in it, like almost trying to downplay a lot of her ott excitement. I also noticed that they were less touchy feely overall compared to earlier on in the trip, which was so unhinged honestly, I didn't know what to do with myself. But then came the moment. I don't think enough people have broken this moment down. So the interviewer asks the question, that's been asked oh so many times, "was it easier or harder to do the intimacy scenes with a friend?" And N looks at L and thinks to herself, he has a hair out of place on his forehead, I'm going to reach out and stroke his forehead right in the middle of this god damn interview. Not once, but a few times, like her little hand was built to stroke that man's face. Now, tbf, she does ask permission but also tbf her hand is already at his face before he can answer a whispered, guttural, "mhmm". He leans in, we loose L for a bit there, then he comes back saying "ok" like you probably got that hair now, think we should stop now. And her going into 'mother' mode telling him to turn his head, good boy. And his little worried face when it's over. And them talking about how N just can't stop picking hairs off people on set. Mmm ok. If they were in Regency outfits, I would be expecting a mirror scene next up. But you might say to me, well shit like this has happened countless times, it's just another thing. Well, I say no, this time was different. They both knew they had crossed a line, publicly, her initiation, his reaction. Because they were strange as hell at the London premiere. He avoided her gaze. She visibly stopped herself from touching him. One occasion, I saw her reach out to his arm or back, and she looked behind him (I think where their teams were?), and immediately pulled her arm back. The first moment she was asked about people shipping Lukola she had a pre-prepared speech ready to go to explain the head stroke. It was forced. A lot of what she said seemed so rehearsed, and although, I'm certain N does think a lot about what she is going to say in interviews, usually she is very natural about it and let's it flow. That lady was stressed and making a point that L is just a 'bud'. The lady doth protest to much, methinks. She's seen everything we've typed about her and L's behaviour during the tour, so why start over-explaining and defending behaviour now? She was STRESSED. That was the overt, obvious, stop yourself type of behaviour, and yet we still saw SOME of that unconscious stuff seep through, like him searching for her hand, her looking up at him like a God, her stroking his thumb with hers while holding hands (seriously, why was that SO intimate to me?). Point being, you can't fake that stuff, the repression and release. The unconscious behaviour. They knew something was rumbling. Or at least, N did. My opinion is that they have not acted on those rumblings, because if they had, it would be OVER. Electric. Power surge. Goodnight. Pack your bags and goodbye. We might not even exist anymore, tbh. But I shall wait over here and keep eating all the crumbs I can get. (I am sooo sorry about the length of whatever this is, thank you much the same, it was so nice to vent).
OKay but like I kinda fuckin love you anon...
I had the biggest smile on my face reading this.
There is so much to unpack here. We will have to chat sometime.
LOVE x
Listen dude listen-
Yandere Vox with a fat fem reader is insane to meeeee I need to write
Tw: Vox being creepy, time period fat phobia (1950s), 50s diet culture shit, reader doesn’t fucking care bc that shit was stupid and the only time she’s self conscious is when Vox is being gross n weird, Gossip, inappropriate behavior, stalking, coercion (nonsexual), noncon touching, Vox saying nasty shit but no actual smut, hypno later in the story.
When You’re Just You- Yandere Vox x Fat Fem reader
Being alive was always a hassle, and being dead was even worse. Because in death you realized quickly that the freak on TV was the same freak who plagued your existence when you were alive… and he was untouchable.
When you were alive you lived in a teeny tiny little suburban neighborhood; with white picket fences and houses in pretty neat rows. You were surprised your parents made it to the neighborhood but supposed you’d be grateful for the gifts god had given you. So you grew up, graduated high school and delved headfirst into the 1950’s!
What a time to be alive.
Men fawned over ladies they saw at the parlor or even at the grocers, with little respect for themselves making it a sight to see a man fumble only to speak to you normally.
Because you- were approachable.
At least from what they could see.
Yes, they’d grown to expect a petite woman with 'flowy' dresses and perfect hair. A beautiful skirt, they chased, hoping to catch and mount like a trophy on the wall. To their credit- a good amount of women in your town fit the bill- and let you know it. Though that truly didn’t matter, you’d smile happily at them and tell them they were lucky, and loved, and beautiful.
But you’d throw in just how nice your dress looked on you and with that they’d compliment right back. While some were backhanded others genuinely agreed, and those were the ladies you spent your time around.
Men seemed to not care and would spare you only 'good mornings', or quick and casual chats at the diner when their fling hadn’t waltzed in.
It was cozy until they made comments that would make you screw up your face in disgust.
“And I suppose you’d know all about a woman’s body wouldn’t you Dick?”
The man would pull at his tie with a sheepish grin, turning away in embarrassment, not bothering to close the conversation. And for a while- it was nice.
Till Tom Leery introduced you to a friend of his. The man was only introduced as Vox- a nickname obtained in high school; a tv salesman extraordinaire, and an eligible bachelor of 34.
When Tom broached the subject to you on a sunny afternoon visit to your parents porch to deliver some mail you’d wanted to scoff.
“Please Tommy, you hardly speak of me much less brag about me. How would this man even know I exist!” But Tom would insist-
“I’m tellin you! He popped up one day and started yappin away about you. He’s love sick, and has been crawling up my spine beggin me to ask you to see him for a date!” Tom begged, hands clasped together so hard you could see them going from white to red, to white again.
And so you relented.
You’d see this “eligible bachelor” and tell him off so royally for ruining an evening you could spend listening to jazz and shooting it with your family.
But when you went outside that fateful night you thought your eyes decived you. A handsome man in a boxy navy suit, light blue undershirt, and a red tie. His black hair seemed to catch every highlight from his outfit. He was more tan than others but his eyes were this... piercing blue.
He looked like a regular Superman, and his smile fit the bill.
It was a damn shame his mouth didn’t.
That’s why your father didn’t approve.
The moment he caught your form he smiled wildly, and it would’ve been a small fairytale moment had it not been for the sharp whistle that came after.
“Well! Look who it is, how are you doing gorgeous?” And for a moment you were flabbergasted, you checked behind you to only spot your animals in the window, and dad barely hidden in the small crack of the doorway.
“Excuse me?” You’d say to his amusement as he started his way up to your home.
“Gorgeous!” He’d repeat, before stopping in front of you, tall, broad frame leering over you before he’d take your hand and give it a kiss that lasted entirely too long. You’d ponder giving the date up and moving back inside had it not been for Tom’s insistence. “You ready to burn rubber?”
“I’d rather not be in the car with an arsonist thank you.” You replied, and the response etched itself into a part of Vox’s brain.
“Smart woman!” He’d say, which would've sound condescending if it weren’t for his posture, stiff and shaking, eyes lidded and foot tapping impatiently. “Should’ve known you’d be witty, not like the rest of the girls here huh?”
And that wouldve rubbed you the wrong way. Had you been less polite you might have bit out a cutting remark on his own beauty, but you held back. After all it was time you let yourself be treated to something nice.
So soon you were off. And the date started when his black Coronet whizzed down the road, barely giving you time to click into the front seat and adjust to your chair.
“So- what’s your favorite time of day? You got a favorite dog breed? If you were put in a room with 3 men who would you feel safest around and haha- you don’t have to say me. I wouldn’t be offended. If you did though- why?” Vox would spew questions at a rate that made you wonder if he just liked hearing himself talk- meaning you barely got time to answer one before he insufferably pulled you up and into a huge restaurant nearly two towns over.
“This is a tad-“
“Shabby? Yeah I called for reservations uptown but your dad said no. So here we are,” Vox would sigh as if your father’s judgement was so wrong before smiling again and grabbing your hands with his, “But maybe you can convince him to let us next time!”
Reservations grasped at the strung nerves in your body the more time you spent with him, as his hand met yours any chance it could get. As he yapped away about sales and meetings, or pitches for shows that he would air on tv.
“So I sent the script into Dan around two o’clock that afternoon and he never got back to me!”
“Uh huh…”
“What kind of a cop out is that? You think you know a guy… do you want to hear what it’s about?”
“Have you even ordered yet?” He’d be taken aback by this, smiling shyly before coming back full force.
“I’ve actually been waiting to see what you’re getting… I have trust in your appetite…”
The insinuation wasn’t lost on you, it surprised you however- was his tone alongside the hand that only seemed to crawl further up your arm resting on the table.
One you withdrew quickly into yourself as you blinked owlishly back at him.
“I’m sorry?”
“You want me to order for you? Why didn’t you just say anything- oh and hey! You don’t worry about seconds or anything I’ve got it covered. Have to keep my girl well-“
“Just get me a salad.” It was his turn to act baffled as he pulled out his wallet and looked at you incredulously, throwing his hands out like you insulted him before looking around and leaning an arm on the table.
He spoke like he was telling you a secret and expecting one in return.
“You’re beautiful- don’t let anyone else in this place get you down because you- are one of a kind.” He leaned in really close, too close and poked you square between your collarbone, knowing if he got further he would’ve poked between your tits and he smiled. “I actually like ladies like you, I’ve found they can handle more...” His gazeonly drifted lower, bit lip caught between his upper cainies as he unabashedly attempted to peer down your dress.
"...Thrilling Endeavours~"
Needless to say you were uncomfortable.
Suddenly you felt ten sizes too large and sat back with an obvious look of disgust on your face. Something everyone else around you seemed to notice. And so the whispers started.
“I… want a salad thank you.” You’d say again, grimacing as his smile dropped and he rolled his eyes. “Is everything-“
“Yeah yeah everything is fine- fuckin phenomenal no issues here… can’t go one night without fuckin' things up-“ Vox grumbled, hands shoving a card and some money back into its case before childishly flipping the menu up and going silent.
Eyes seemed to burn into you and you felt shame and embarrassment crawl up your neck. You turned your own to your wine and sipped it slowly before placing it down and crossing your arms over your lap, accentuating their weight.
Vox looked over the menu with a small glare before speaking too loud for comfort.
“They’ve got three different salads and all of them only have one ingredient differences, are you su-“
“Positive.” And he would huff, setting the menu down harshly before flagging a waiter over. One who had been snickering at a table in front of you only a few minutes earlier.
You let your head down as he spoke to Vox, who seemed to notice your discomfort and was at least sorry he pulled a stunt like he did. His hand was back in the center of the table as if he was inviting you to grab it.
In an effort you stepped up and lightly touched it, which willed him to grab it so hard it felt like it would break. “Ah-“
“Don’t- if I give you the chance to, will you order something… better?”
“I said I want a salad Vox." You answered with a glare. His eyes seemed to darken at this, flitting back to the waiter as his jaw set in annoyance.
"That'll be two steaks for the table, and ugh-" he snapped his fingers - " Do me a favour and dont take all night, I'm trying to treat this little lady to something nice, and shes just being difficult." The waiters smirk was pointed as he wrote down the order. "That'll be two of our house special steaks, and bottle of vintage for you and your sist-" Vox's shadow loomed over the table as he prepared to chew the young man out, his ears growing red from agictation.
"Friend!" Was what you cut in with, a hand resting soothingly on the back of Vox's, thumb interlocked with his, causing his pupils to blow wide as the waiter straightened his posture. "He's taking me out as a courtesy dinner on behalf of our friend Tom Leery." You said succinctly, watching the stress melt off smoothly from Vox's shoulders.
The waiter looked between the two of you, nodding understandably, as he was clearly grateful you deescalated the situation he started.
"Mhm, my mistake ma'mm, and... sir. We'll have your food out shortly." *To be continued.*
Teacher AU!Wilbur x Reader
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
hello fellas i'm back with another wilbur fic he has been all i can think about for the past several days. take this
wordcount: 1,461 (part 1/?)
as always this is not proof read sorry lads
part 2 here
Being a teacher is not the job you thought you’d end up with when you were doing career planning in 12th grade, but here you stand.
Back in the same high school you swore never to return to.
Oh, well, then. At least you have mediocre pay and little to no benefits, right?
You sigh and drop a box onto the desk in your mostly empty classroom. It’s bare and almost liminal in a sense, and you can't help but feel creeped out.
You step back from the desk and examine the room with your hands on your hips for a moment before shaking your head. This setup is awful, you decide. Time to change it up a bit.
You get to work pushing desks across the room, trying to ignore the screeching of metal against linoleum. You’re already sweating and it’s only been a couple minutes since you made the decision to completely change the room.
You huff softly as you drag another desk, having two of the legs lifted slightly off the ground. Suddenly, you lose your grip on it, and it falls directly onto your foot.
“Fuck!” You exclaim, yanking your foot out from under it and pulling your leg up protectively, bouncing slightly as you try to keep your balance with your one foot on the ground. Suddenly, you hear a soft knock on your doorframe and you whip your head around to see who it is.
You’re met with the sight of a concerned looking, very, very tall man. He has a mess of curly brown hair and glasses that are too big for his face, though you can’t help but think they suit him. “Um… Are you alright?” He asks, gesturing to your foot, which you realize you’re still holding. Your face flushes and you put your foot back down on the ground, tucking your hair, embarrassed.
“Yes, I’m okay.” You assure him, laughing awkwardly. “Sorry, uh, for my language.” You apologize, and he cracks a small smile.
“It’s okay.” He assures you, leaning against the doorframe. “Is this your first year teaching?” He asks, sounding genuinely curious as he looks you up and down. You nod.
“Yeah, it is.” You admit, starting to drag the desk again. The man winces at the sound. “Do you need help?” He asks, and you nod instantly.
“Yes please.” You say, sighing in relief. He walks over and lifts the other side of the desk, following your lead when you take it to the corner of the room. He clears his throat as the both of you work.
“So, I assume you’re the new English teacher, then…?” He asks, and you nod, stepping back to look at your now rearranged room. You hum softly in approval of the sight.
“Uh, yeah, I am.” You say, realizing you haven’t introduced yourself. You wipe your palms on your pants and reach out, offering your name and a handshake. He accepts.
“I’m Wilbur.” He introduces himself. “Though you’ll have to refer to me as Mr. Soot in front of the kids, I suppose.” He says, shrugging. You smile gently.
“Well, Mr. Soot, I appreciate the help.” You tell him, and he nods, glancing away and then back to you, looking a little shy.
“It’s no problem, really.” He mumbles, scratching the back of his head. Your attention is drawn toward his outfit, then, and you let out a startled laugh.
“Is that The Front Bottoms? No way, I love them.” You say. He looks a little surprised, but nods eagerly.
“It is! You like them?” He asks, the nervousness slipping away slightly. “Yeah, of course!” You say, beaming up at him. “I’ve seen them in concert twice.” Wilbur groans at the news.
“Unfair, I’ve been wanting to see them for forever.” He says with a small pout. You giggle. “Well, I wish you luck on getting tickets.” You say, lazily saluting. He laughs softly.
“Well, now I’m glad I wore this shirt today.” He says. “You’ll probably not see me in it again for a while, I don’t dress casually on school days.” He says, crossing his arms and leaning against your wall. You hum.
“Oh? And what do you teach, again?” You ask, and he sighs. “Oh, God, good question. Well, I’m supposed to be the History and Geography teacher, but the board found out I can play instruments, so now I’m supposed to be teaching a combined history-slash-music class. I had to plan the whole class in a month.” He complains, dragging a hand down his face in exasperation. You wince.
“Yikes. That sounds interesting, though. How did you manage that? Is it, like, just exploring the history of music?” You ask, and he nods.
“Yeah, pretty much.” He admits, rubbing his arm. “It’s probably gonna be a shit class, since I barely had time to put anything together.” He says with a sigh. “But I’m supposedly the ‘boring’ teacher anyway, so it’s not like I have a reputation to uphold anyway.” He says sarcastically. You frown.
“Boring? You don’t seem boring to me, why do they think you’re boring?” You ask, genuinely bewildered. He winces.
“Ah, well, I was a new teacher last year, so my lessons were very, uh, by the book, I guess you could say. I didn’t really put any of my own spins on the lessons or anything because I was too focused on trying to drill information into their brains.” He says, sounding a little embarrassed. “Ahh, I see.” You say sympathetically, nodding. “Well, what do you have planned for this year?” You ask, gesturing for him to come sit at your desk with you. You grab one of the plastic chairs for yourself and let him sit in your spinning chair.
“Well, I’ve been trying to think of ways to spice geography up, so I found a couple games I thought might be interesting to have them play in class.” He says, tapping on his chin thoughtfully as he sits back in your chair, looking up at the ceiling. “I might have them playing Geoguessr.” He says, resting his hands on his lap. “Oh, that sounds fun!” You say, clapping your hands lightly. “I wish I could do something like that for my class.” You say.
He turns his gaze back to you. “Well, what grade are you teaching English for?” He asks. “Because if you’ve got freshmen and sophomores, I’d say it’s probably not the best idea, but if you’ve got the juniors and seniors, you could definitely do something with them.” You nod. “I’m teaching for juniors and seniors, actually. But I have a senior creative writing class, too.” Wilbur looks pleased at the news. “Oh, really? What’ve you got planned for creative writing?” He asks, smiling softly. “I always like seeing what the students come up with, some of the kids from last year were actually really good.” He says. You smile back.
“Well, I’ve planned a unit on the butterfly effect, but I also want to do some poetry next term.” You say, tucking your hair behind your ear and gently tapping your fingers on the desk. Wilbur hums thoughtfully.
“Well, poetry could be fun. I’m a shit poet, honestly, but I mean, at least they make for good song lyrics?” He says, wincing slightly before waving his hand to dismiss the topic. “That will be fun, though, I think. Is it an elective or required class?”
“Just an elective.” You respond, tucking away the comment about song lyrics for later. You still your hands and place them flat on the desk. “Thankfully. I don’t know if I could force a bunch of uninterested kids into actually doing the work if it was required.” You say, shaking your head. He makes a sympathetic sound. “Yeah, I understand. Sometimes I wish that I taught more elective classes, but there’s not really many history or geography related electives I would be eligible to teach, anyway.” He says, chuckling to himself. “Maybe if the kids drive me crazy enough I’ll just give up and have ‘em watch Crash Course videos for the whole class.” He jokes, and you giggle softly.
“If only, if only.” You say, sighing dramatically. After a pause – a few moments of comfortable silence – you speak up again, clearing your throat.
“So how’s the cafeteria food here? Any good? I mean, when I went to school here it sucked, any developments?” You ask. “Oh, you went here for high school?” He asks, before shaking his head. “Unfortunately no, by the way. What year did you graduate? I graduated in ‘18.” He says, pushing his large glasses up.
“Oh, I graduated in 2019. We’re only a year apart, that’s cool.” You say, then glance at the time. “Shit, it’s nearly five.” You say, frowning. “I need to finish setting up my room.” You say, standing up and sighing. He nods in understanding. “That’s alright, I’ll leave you to it.” He says, standing up too. “Unless you need help, still?” You shoot him a grateful smile but shake your head. “No, it’s alright. Thank you, though. For helping, and for keeping me company. I’ll, uh, see you around?” You ask, and he nods.
“Yeah, of course. I’ll make sure to drop by your classroom.” He says, running a hand through his curls. “And, um, don’t hesitate to reach out if you need anything.” He adds, sounding a bit shy.
“Of course, thank you so much, Wilbur.” You say, grateful you’ve got someone to talk to now. You smile at him, though it looks a bit exhausted. “I’ll see you Monday.”
“I’ll see you Monday.” He agrees, waving at you before stepping out and walking down the hall to his own room. The second he walks away you have to take a moment to breath.
What the fuck, he was cute.
