ok i need you to hear me out and walk with me for this one. ponyboy about as atheist as they come bc he’s so naturally curious and i can’t see him taking religion at face value — is always questioning and looking for deeper meanings etc. soda who loves having god to believe in, probably prays pretty often esp post parents-death, says grace at mealtime if he can remember — he genuinely gives me very casually religious vibes idk why but i stand by it.

darry though. sigh. i think he WANTS to have religion in his life but if we’re going the gay route, obviously like…he grew up in a church in the midwest 50s where it’d be beat into his head that he is fundamentally made wrong and. you know. the internalized homophobia and religious guilt mix is nottttt to be played with. i think he doesn’t ever have gfs and kinda just fucks around and jumps headfirst into his studies (bc he needs grades more than girls anyway) and probably stops going to church around like. early teenage years, then by mid teenage years he meets paul and they begin their. whatever they do. i fr stand by that they alwaysss without fail meet on sunday mornings bc paul too has (more recently) dropped out of church and would rather spend sunday mornings w darry than be there. if they’re gonna be sinners n supposedly go to hell either way they may as well act on it and feel good in the moment u know

i also think entirely besides the whole Gay Thing™️ that he has a lottt of frustrations with god and with the idea of believing in higher power after his parents die. i think before it’s not so bad, he never had a family to worry about and his biggest beef w the church was them calling him a sinner for being gay but that’s like. he can sorta get over it if he stays closeted forever. but now it’s like. he’s getting told everything happens for a reason and this is all in gods plan by everyone he meets and he can’t even begging to understand why. why god has it out for him, why his family, what he did so wrong. i think he entirely rejects the concept of religion after this whereas soda probably leans more into it and seeks god for guidance which could be an interesting sorta rift between them and how they both personally cope. i do believe that when pony does missing for the week in windrixville darry is so so exhausted and at his wits end (considering “throwing in the towel”, whatever you personally think that means for him!) that he prays to his parents instead of god and asks for their help in bringing his baby brother home <3 (and it works!!!!!!!!)

this, of course, is all entirely separate from the fact that darry is a very by the book guy. he doesn’t play about fact and has little room for opinion in his head and beliefs. i think that def factors into how much he genuinely believes in god vs how much he thought he should growing up. if that makes any sense

Hey cas :), I’ve been feeling down and can’t rlly talk to anyone rn but like idk u give rlly good advice and I kinda need some :p. just a warning this kinda just seems like a bunch of nonsense high school drama (which it is but I digress). I started high school last year with like a newish group of friends, and all of said friends are queer and so am I. They’re all already out, which I love for them, but I’m not. This wasn’t an issue before, the only difference in our interaction was that they wouldn’t mention anything in front of my family and that was that. Going into high school though they’ve started to ignore my concerns. All of them either have accepting families or their parents have no way of knowing about them. Where we live there’s a tight knit community of people from the country I’m from too, and they all hapen to be very religious. I consider myself religious too, but as much as I hate it there’s a lot of deeply rooted homophobia. As much as my friends claim they understand they really don’t, I already struggle enough not speaking enough of the language, being queer is quite literally the worst thing I could be. My friends don’t get that. I’ve basically been “disowned” from some of the kids at school because of people assuming that am queer bc of my friends talking about me being gay, which I find weird but whatever. Like it sounds silly when I read it back but it’s like that’s the only thing I’m associated with now, even with my straight friends which I hate, not because im ashamed but I don’t want the fact that I happen to like girls to be my only personality trait in their eyes. This seems like an overreaction but cas when I tell you I’ve had days where I go from class to class with one specific friend (this is mainly an issue with like three people btw but like it’s worse when they’re with other people) and this girl will be basically singing to the hills about my most personal details while I’m losing my shit beginning her to shut up. And these god damn assumptions that people make about me now has ruined every romantic relationship I’ve had a chance at. Anyway I love my friends ofc but I genuinely don’t want to be out and I don’t know how to get them to understand that. Idk Cas I suck balls at making boundaries and the last time I had to do something like this the only advice that I got wax that I have a major skill issue and to get better. Finished rewatching Devilman Crybaby this time w the added context of having actually read Devilman and while I enjoyed it more this time round (I deeply h8ed it my first watch lol) all my criticism still stands! Some of it is a matter of personal taste IE I dislike the designs but even within that there’s some objectivity—I think the way the show draws and animates bodies can be quite uncomfortable when you take into account how animalistic it makes Akira, who is notably tanner than Ryo who is like pale and prim and In Control of his emotions. I suppose this is contrasted w him being literally Satan but it still feels gross. Speaking of: darker skin tones were rly gray and washed out and that sucks. Idk I think the show is pretty weird about race in general! The rap stuff was rly cool as a device but also complicated this further. Also wtf was up w Ryo and that like… was it a native tribe? Idk. Strange stuff!

I think also that Devilman absolutely is a series that needs to have a lot of sex and violence bc that’s sort of what made it so huge in the 70s—it was some of the most violent shit ppl had seen! But I think that for a show made in 2018 u can’t rly do that just for the sake of having a lot sex and violence. You should prolly be trying to actually say smth w it this time lol. So idk a lot of that fell flat for me! However I do think there were times were it tried to do smth—I think the arc w the guy who takes pics of teen girls modeling bikini outfits and him also being the guy who films Akira’s transformation and that video being viewed w the photos of the girls behind it was rly rly rly fascinating. Esp w Ryo also having a lot of moments where he’s recording Akira and keeping tabs on him. The use of cameras and voyeurism was really cool and I wish we’d gotten more of it.

I thought some of the changes + new stuff were interesting and actually added quite a bit! I thought the old Devilman tv show existing in-universe was so fucking cool. And I’m glad Miki had more to do lol and the stuff w her and Miko added another layer—the manga rly only focuses on Ryo and Akira and yea Miki’s there but doesn’t get to be a character bc yk. 70s manga. So that was nice I liked her :) she’s my friend. And Ryo and Akira actually being childhood friends this time was p interesting. The stuff w the super high schooler being gay and Akira trying to get thru to him w that also was rly good imo

I think prolly my biggest criticism tonally is that, like…. wasn’t Ryo Asuka. He’s one of the most iconic chars ever so I think you rlyyyy need to get him right in order to pull devilman off and I don’t think show did! Idk I think Ryo was p cruel the whole time so when he regained his memories there wasn’t rly a shift. In the manga when Ryo outs Akira as a devilman on natl television it’s this sort of insane moment and it doesn’t hit as hard in Crybaby bc Ryo has just been clearly evil this whole time instead of legitimately not knowing/understanding his own nature. Like in the manga he does have this vague struggle against his instincts also when he Does remember it’s a deeply compelling moment of him looking at baby pics of himself and not recognizing them—I get why that can’t rly happen in Crybaby bc of the new context but it does just make that moment much less interesting. But yea idk Ryo was sorta acting like he had his memories back the whole time (which if that was the Choice being made I was willing to walk w it! I don’t think adaptations need to be identical to the source material if they’re doing smth new and effective) but he didn’t sooooooo that was disappointing

The ending still made me sad tho. Point there I suppose. Also were they tryna do an End of Evangelion thing w the Red Sea and purple sky beach thing and ryokira laying next to each other….? Fascinating. I mean that’s fun bc Evangelion was deeply influenced by Devilman (so much so that it’s on the Wikipedia lmfao). Anyway

ALSO. It wasn’t funny. One thing ab Devilman is that it’s lowkey so fucking funny and Crybaby was just kinda like dreary. Idk… it was fun ig but liiiiike I hope we get a proper devilman adaptation one day

why kyle is threatened by cartman

i’ve been thinking abt part of the reason WHY kyle has sooo much of an issue with cartman whenever he shows up or breathes or does basically anything. yes it’s also bc he’s jealous of him and gay for him but THERE’S A THIRD REASON TOO. it all comes down to the fact that kyle is a friendless loser as we’ve talked about. since it’s been shown that cartman knows how to make friends outside the group wayyy more easily than kyle and kyle pretty much only hangs out with stan & kenny all the time i think he just gets possessive of stan & kenny bc i mean they’re deadass the only friends he has so he doesn’t wanna lose them. so yeah OFC he gets threatened by cartman & jealous af when cartman knows how to rizz stan & kenny better than him and they have moments where they prefer to hang out with cartman and listen to him over kyle. he’s mad af that the person he ‘hates’ that’s mean to him and picks on him steals his friends away. i remember i was like this as a kid when i was an annoying fuck. i was never popular in school so then when i finally did make a friend it meant A LOT to me and i would try to hold onto that friend for dear life LOL. and i also HATED it when that friend would hang out with a bunch of people i didn’t like or people that were mean to me bc that would happen A LOT where i had a friend i got along with rlly well but then when other bitches were there they wouldn’t like me and i wouldn’t like them. but yeah i grew out of that shit as i got older and realized i was the problem bc if it’s rlly THAT hard to hold onto ONE FRIEND bc u can’t get along with anyone else then who’s the one to blame lol. bc tryna control your friends and getting all possessive of them and dictating who they can and can’t hang out with is toxic & immature (which kyle does all the time when he tries turning stan against cartman). i don’t do that shit anymore as an adult and if i ever encounter a situation where a friend i have gets along with or hangs out around someone i can’t stand i either just try to put up with it and get along with that person too or if it rlly becomes too much of a problem for me i’ll just stop being friends with that friend altogether. bc like that can DEF be a huge indication that someone is fake or two-faced & not a real friend anyway if they act one way with you but then a completely different person around a group of people and COMPLETELY change up their value system. so honestly as long as the friend knows how to be the SAME PERSON around both you and the person u hate that should be ok for me, it’s when they do that two-faced shit that’s the real dealbreaker. and honestly this is why kyle is such a victim bc like he doesn’t know how to make any other friends bc he’s so unlikable and like ik it’s hard for him to get away from cartman bc stan & kenny are friends with him too, but honestly he could just stop hanging out with stan & kenny then if it’s rlly such a problem, bc i mean stan & kenny have PLENTY of two faced moments where they side with cartman instead of kyle when he’s in the wrong or being a dick.

I'll be honest I don't really have any headcanons off the top of my head. I have to think really hard about those I like but usually I can point at a preexisting one and go "haha yes I like this one" without thinking of it myself =v=

I think my biggest hc rn - and it's kind of controversial bc ik ppl have different opinions on it - is that deku is just flat out gay. like that's his sexuality, he only likes men. I used to hc him as bi and I campaigned pretty hard for it, and regarding fandom ships I still don't mind shipping him with girls. (tbh with fandom ships, I kind of just disregard a character's sexuality hc entirely bc I'm a multishipper who thinks crack ships are fucking great.)

I always like drawing bkdk pretty close in height. ik lots of bkdks like a height difference but I prefer when rivals are pretty equal, and that includes how tall they are

dk's hands are coarser than bkg's, except around the palms, where bkg canonically has thick skin (so I'd assume there's some callouses there)

I like to think that bkg is good at basically anything, considering how he's a perfectionist. give him something to do and one week to do it, and he'll have a new skill under his belt. but there's a few things he can't do that trip him up so bad and make him so angry. like to me he definitely doesn't know how to whistle or roll his Rs. he just physically cannot. they're such pointless abilities but he hates how he can't do them. especially bc dk can definitely do both

OKAY. you have awakened nerd esme. prepare urself. this will be long. sooooo long.

so for context the x men— created in 1963 by stan lee and jack kirby and fictionally brought together by professor x, a wheelchaired mutant with telepathic abilities, were/are mutants. mutants are a different species than humans and are as such treated terribly by them. they have “mutations” which give them powers and shit. they were basically created as parallels to real life bigotry and are hated by the general public (in the marvel verse everyone irl loves them. or i do. )

anyway, the original five were—

angel aka warren worthington III (yes that is his actual name) who had wings on his back. now they’re metal. it’s complicated but not important. he’s basically the token rich boy, blond hair, blue eyes, yeah. total knockout in canon too apparently. cyclops aka scott summers who had a red laser beam that continuously comes out of his eyes and as such he wears/wore a special visor made out of special ruby glass professor x found for him. quick fun fact he had so low self esteem and was so depressed professor x made him leader out of fear he would fucking kill himself. which is very dark. a bit stoic and pretty much an old man (he canonically watched seinfield). and he’s transmasc to ME. beast aka hank mccoy who is basically a genius and really strong and stuff. eventually he turns into a literal beast but i’m too sleep deprived to remember how that happened lolol marvel girl aka jean grey who was the token Girl™️ of the group and who possessed too many abilities to keep track of, and when she has them. she gets fucked up at some point in the chris claremont x men run (which is truly iconic) and becomes possessed by the phoenix force(specifically in issue #134, the issue will wanted in episode one) and becomes like evil and shit. the phoenix force is a cosmic evil being and she becomes *dark* phoenix and it’s a whole thing. also pour one fucking out for her imagine being surrounded by teenage boys and hormones most of whom have a crush on you and being able to read their minds. jean babe i’m so sorry for everything you’ve been through. and bobby drake aka iceman who has *gasp* ice powers. he’s a bit of the goofball of the group and can turn basically turn himself into ice which is explored more in more recent comics. he’s also been revealed as gay. one small step for mutants i suppose they’re all queer but nobody tell them.

again the personalities may not fit on the surface but i think will is iceman. they’re both sort of softer than everyone else, and whole will is quieter it just makes sense to me haha.

uhh so i don’t actually think lucas would be warren… mayhaps i’m still considering… which means i wrote that whole description for basically nothing but i think it’s funny so i’m keeping it there. anyway i think lucas would be… idk. i’m still thinking it over but maybe gambit.

So ummm Zeno au<3 I’m really normal. Allow me to give a brief explanation of what Zeno is first You see, Zeno is a fictional disease sort of thing that makes people cannibals. Specifically an oneset is caused by traumatic events/extreme cases of unrequited love(specifically mostly familial) and the only cure is eating the flesh of someone else with Zeno.(not widely known.) It’s also transmittable through biting like zombies. there’s one specific facility with scientists dedicated to getting to the bottom of how to cure zeno, also housing ‘patients’ (or, people with zeno being used as lab rats). Now onto character lore.

So william and henry were good friends right. Yeah. Considering that they even have a small diner together. Well one day will got zeno (oh no!) and started slowly picking off kids going to the diner. He even accidentally attacked Charlie, who escaped in one piece luckily. Charlie went to the afton household to see if he was doing okay (because will’s like an uncle to her and all! And also what if everyone else got hurt?) only to find will ate them all oops. And yeah same happened to her, but since he transmitted zeno to Charlie he was cured! How convenient! The people in charge of the labs ended up roping him and henry into being scientists for them through shady shady means and well the two aren’t on good terms and avoid each other like the plague. Henry’s still sore over the ‘you ate my fucking daughter’ thing. Luckily he has his assistant/the archivist (tape girl) to keep him company. So Vanessa right! Crazzy I know. Nessa as we know comes from a broken family. In this specific au I’m mixing her backstory with the character who’s place she’s taking (hi kuro) so basically her parents. Neglect her. In favor of her younger sibling because she was born from her mom’s affair and blablabla… she grows up basically taking care of herself. Eventually she develops zeno and starts you know. Killing and eating random girls as you do. When one night she comes home and is confronted by her parents about this!! And well you can guess. What happens to them lol. She gets captured and taken to the zeno facility where she’s specifically studied/talked to by William! They’re funny bc nessa hasn’t had anyone willingly spend so much time around her and be so nice to her. Will … well she’s a specimen to him lol. Since being cured himself zeno has been a subject of interest to him, he’s thrown himself completely into his work (under the guise of feeling soooo guilty for his actions which henry can see right through) and well. He’s realized the consumption of human flesh has something to do with it, since eating Charlie cured him. So he’s been …. Robbing the morgue/killing people when needed to feed vanessa every time they meet. Which, she’s more docile when she’s not hungry so it kind of works but she’s not like cured you know. It has the side affect of her being hungry when it’s time for someone to chat with her though which was funny the one time henry had to go in will’s stead cause he offered her a granola bar and she was like 😐 ew.?? Anyways will has gotten her total trust because he also plays board games with her yay!! He’s the only one not enforcing the whole straightjacket-dog muzzle combo also so she’s like woah !! He sees me as another human unlike these other guys :DD (needless to say zeno patients are not treated very humanely.lol) there was also one time tape girl had to be a substitute for william but nothing of note happened they just kinda chilled and ness threatened her in a backhanded and mildly gay sort of way.as you do.

Anyway yeah so basically Henry’s been experimenting with treatment through amnesia and totally surely unrelated note at the actual start of the story, Will and Nessa wake up in a strange room with no clue who they are or how they got here, and have to navigate the now bloody and corpse-strewn facility while handcuffed together with nothing to guide them except each other and the only clue to their pasts is tampered resumes which effectively switch their backstories!! Nessa is under the impression that she’s the scientist (the whole cannibalism part was left out) and she thinks William is the serial murderer/cannibal. Which was funny cause she read her own resume like wow… I’m kind of a big deal huh :) and then read Will’s like ERM.OKAY… Will didn’t read either of the resumes. Also tape girl gave everyone code names and said code names were swapped on the resumes also! So ‘bonnie’(nessa) and ‘vanny’(will) are just kind of cluelessly walking around like damn this place is really… corpsey:) until henry starts showing up and trying to kill them (he contracted zeno big surprise) and also tape girl (assumed dead) shows up sometimes just to see how things are going. Lots of shenanigans and also murder ensue.

The game also has multiple endings so. sometimes nessa ends up killing william lol. Intestine jumprope…. … ……… Also side note.will found out it’s specifically zeno infected humans that need to be fed to patients to cure them but kinda. Didn’t cure nessa on purpose<3 because she’s sort of entirely dependent on him in this way and she’s kind of his only friend.the same way he’s her only friend……wacky wild!

Tape girl is having a fucking.day. Because henry mentioned he was going to do something but likeee. She didn’t expect to be caught in the crossfires of a HUGE MASS MURDER CANNIBAL EVENT.AS LIKE ONE OF THE 4 PEOPLE STILL ALIVE IN HERE,.. once he chilled out henry explained himself and she agreed to help out (she also decided to distribute some of her recorded notes.just for fun…after the two get separated for the first time ‘vanny’ listens to them and is like woah… i was a patient here⁉️ And bon was my unethical doctor⁉️⁉️ which is funny) but like. She is the only one NOT infected in here and would like to keep it that way so she’s having quite the time. Seeing vanessa walking around unrestrained keeps jumpscaring her LOL. Once ness’s zeno symptoms start returning well ofc will as the only one she’d encountered here who she cares about is the first target but tape girl nearly gets chomped too lol.

Zeno has an interesting affect on the subjects mood which is funny. Basically when an oneset happens and the person with zeno is running around eating people they’re in a crazed manic state which. Is really fun.will and nessa are wandering around handcufffed and he’s like uhh bonnie you okay cause her facial expressions.well they went from the example on the left to the one on the right.

It’s funny bc. The memory erasure actually technically did work… her symptoms only started returning bc she got bit LOL

Pre-the amnesia incident the other three’s interactions with vanessa were pretty.limited. Considering she’s theeee most dangerous patient. Will talks to her for like an hour daily but Henry only really knows her as ‘william’s mutt’ (he was especially not a fan when he found out will had been FEEDING HER HUMAN FLESH.) and tape girl is afraid of her but also. Kind of endeared from their two in person interactions. The second one in which vanessa tried to convince her to let her cannibalize her but hey she was very polite about it..!! Henry and tape girl are both shocked and stunned that she’s actually pretty chill when she’s not insane and eating people.

for seeing if you like the general vibe of the show i suggest The Wedding Job or The Bank Shot Job (both season 1) and the best ot3 episode is the iconic The Rundown Job (season 5) but there are also many individual good episodes for each pair of the ship

the first ep kinda shows its age(it first aired in 2008), but by the second episode they already have their groove on tbh, it also has the best final episode of any show ive ever seen bc they had an ideal ending in mind from the beginning and ended each season as if it might be their last just incase they got cancelled (they did, but then they also made history by winning being the first cancelled show to win a people’s choice awards the next year), and they had just enough time after they got the news to implement their ideal ending

it honestly is the most perfectly made show ive ever seen, the characterization is consistent, there’s no unnecessary contrived plot twist or weird forced drama or overly dramatic miscommunication plotlines (there’s only one sort of miscommunication b plot off the top of my head and it makes sense for the characters and was resolved at the end of the episode, it was also shockingly cute)

by that i mean, the leverage team are good at what they do and they know it and do it WELL, anytime something does go off the rails for them its never for lack of skill or ability or dumb mistakes that make no sense for the characters to make, it’s beautiful, they’re beautiful, i love them all,

and every character has rich backstories and character development!!!! and by the end they feel like the same people just more mature, everything is very natural and well written

also, and this is v important to me bc im trans, it’s trans safe! there’s not any trans characters, but the one time there’s a trans joke it’s specifically about one of the guys on the team accidentally using a woman’s pass to get thru security and he gets thru by saying he’s trans and making the security guy panic about being perceived as transphobic, it’s not perfect but it aged surprisingly well tbh

also real talk they’re all queercoded as hell, like the argument could be made for nate that he’s painfully straight which is fair but tbh whatever he and sterling have going on between them is at least a little gay by season 5

1.) dixie boy - april smith and the great picture show

chose bc i absolutely love this song, and i love belting it when i’m home alone lol. it *is* sang by a girl, however a) her voice is beautiful and b) the lyrics just fit thomastair SO well. no spoilers ofc but think of when alastair said that he always noticed when others were looking at thomas and how much he hated it. that’s this song. although it could also be how thomas feels about charles LMAO

2.) medicine - royal sugar

got recommended these guys on ig and they’re great!! no reason other than it’s just a rly cool song, kinda sexy, it’s just great lol

there aren’t many lyrics to this, but it’s one of my fave songs. such a chill, great vibe, just makes me picture the two of them sitting together in the evening, no words, just relaxing :)

okay it’s a eurovision song BUT i needed a french song!!! cause paris!!! if you want to look up a translation of the lyrics feel free, but here’s (roughly) what the chorus says:

i am aware they are kind of sad lyrics but i think this song captures how tumultuous everything was for them at the start, especially from a personal point of view for alastair

12.) moon - the cab

i love alexander deleon’s (lead singer) work as bohnes soooo the cab are great too. again just a silly kinda sexy song lol. also just realised it’s called moon and la voyage dans la lune guys i’m so smart

more early thomastair vibes. actually the y&y songs on this make me want to write smth. idk. i think early thomastair owns my heart tbh

yes i dislike matty as much as the next person however this song means a lot to me personally. i don’t know why, but it has helped me through a lot, like a note to self kind of thing? anyways. yeah i love this song and i think it really represents the desperation of thomastair, particularly how thomas put so much effort into convincing alastair that they’d be ok, that they could be together. ‘i’d love it if we made it’ just makes me think of thomas tbh. and!!! it’s all good bc!!! they did!!!

15.) hit and run - lolo

okay i’m going to be honest. i wanted there to be specifically 15 songs and so i needed to think of a final one to add. i really like this one, and thomastair often comes to mind when i listen to it. like i could just see them doing something borderline illegal or generally stupid and running away laughing because they’re just two idiots in love. lowkey oneshot idea of them being a criminal duo? who knows

1.) give us a quick rundown of your s/i: Uh honey I have a lot but if I had to pick...why won't we talk about Kingohger? Syne is a dancer originally born in Ishabana (and is possibly the childhood friend of Himeno bc I love myself) she began to go out to explore the world with her troupe. She performed for Rita and a freak snowstorm caused her to be stranded in Gokkan and oh noooo there’s FEELINGS~!!!! Anyway Syne smooching both Rita and Himeno bc I’m gay and I love them both, sue me.

4.) what's a song that describes your s/i? even better if you have a playlist!: I have a lot of songs but none of them are coming to my mind save Like Chimeras. This is a Tea and Leoring song due to the fact even though the singer is one person, they’re able to make two voices because Leoring is an extension of his momma. This innocent desire to help others and find happiness doing to, the song has them “talking to one another” because as they’re fighting, they’re not afraid of what is to come. Leoring isn’t afraid of the fact (a lil bit actually) of he’s going to die one day and they know one another in and out. Idk man it’s hard for me to describe

9.) give us an example s/i outfit (or describe it). Boa, my Zero-One s/i, normally wears a snow white crisp suit. It’s like Gai’s creme suit but has a black shirt underneath and black gloves. She may smile so pleasantly to lower your guard, but she’s…a devious woman underneath….

Lucas: I think Lucas would find out before Dustin and confront mike and Will ab it. I think after mike and Will start dating they’d act mostly the same just slightly more open about their glances and accidental hand touches. Lucas would definitely pick up on this. I really liked the ‘double date' with Byler and lumax at the movie so I think it’d be cool if they went on another 'double date' but Mike and Will don’t make it out to seem like it’s a double date. Idk where'd they go in Hawkins but maybe they’d go to like some sorta diner or smth idk ANYWAYS. Mike and Will would share a milkshake which Lucas would raise his eyebrows at. Mike would totally laugh at every little joke that Will made. I feel like max would’ve figured out at this point so she’d make comments like “oh my god get a room” and Mike would obviously get defensive at bc ofc he would and Will would just sip his milkshake. Anyways when they’re walking (or smth idk lolz just bare with me) Lucas would whisper to max something like “is it just me or are they acting weird?” Max would respond with “WAIT THEY ARE?!” Then roll her eyes, “Lucas you’re so dumb sometimes.” Then leave it at that. I think then Lucas would think about it for a couple days then finally confront Mike and Will ab it like “are you two like, um like a thing? Not that there’s anything wrong with it no just um, just wondering yeah” then smile awkwardly. Mike and Will would just nod their heads like “haha yeah how'd you figure out?” Then Lucas would explain that they were mega obvious.

Dustin: Dustin is observant but he has a terrible gaydar. He def would notice that something is different about the two of them. I think he'd mention it to Robin and Steve and ofc Robin knows and she just gives Steve a knowing look and tells Dustin to ask them himself. So when Dustin does ask “why are you guys acting so weird and giggly around each other recently 🤨🤨🤨” Mike and Will both evade the question bc it comes off as a little aggressive. But one day he catches Mike staring at Will and he has like a little light bulb go off over his head. And he def remembers when Mike used to look at Eddie like that and finally puts all the puzzle pieces together. So for like a week Dustin is giving Mike like worried looks whenever they hang out the entire party bc he obvi doesn’t want Mike to like be crushed bc like Will an OG party member he thinks drama is like unavoidable. And Dustin still ofc has a terrible gaydar so he def doesn’t think Will is gay. So he gets mike alone one day and basically gives him the breakdown on how he's noticed all of Mike’s glances and how he laughs at Will’s jokes and is like “mike I don’t want this tearing the party apart” and Mike is like “Will already knows I like him..” and then Dustin is like “wait.. what?!” Then he figures it out then he says something like “HOW DID I NOT REALIZE THIS BEFORE” and Mike just like rolls his eyes and like walks away or smth IDK
