sharing one of my new slightly funny headcanons about pregnancy traditions in the atla universe: airbender fertility charms

there is a fertility ritual in the country of bhutan where couples who want to conceive a child paint penises on the outside of their houses, in various shapes, sizes, colors, etc. (often some of these paintings depict the penises as ejaculating too, just to get the full picture here) and also hang carved wooden penises on the corners of their homes. the carved penises is what gave me the idea

within the atla universe it's said that people ask traveling airbenders for blessings for all sorts of things, but one that is highly requested is a blessing for expectant mothers

so, combining these two ideas, i now headcanon that airbenders carve 'fertility charms' (a tiny wooden penis) which they believe helps with conception. airbenders who want to have a baby will use one themselves, but some airbenders also carve them and give them away. these charms are highly sought after within the 4 nations, but are a bit difficult to come across as most believe the blessing is only valid if it comes directly from the hands of an airbender

is this perhaps silly? maybe. but i think it's a fun little worldbuilding thing to add so i'm sharing it here. go forth, let your airbenders carry around tiny wooden penises or whatever

We also know that Danny ‘is LITERALLY a ghost’ Fenton sucks at remembering his own intangibility while ALSO forgetting to look ahead of him.

All I’m saying is, Danny Fenton (or Phantom, if you’d really like) would absolutely SLAM into Batman on accident while running on roof tops and Bruce ‘Brooding Instinct’ Wayne doesn’t even think twice about letting the kid hide and scanning around for danger before there’s a record scratch of ‘wait who tf is this?’ kicks in.
