You do have a point! Jun doesn't know anything about what happened between Thame and Po

But what doesn't sit right with me is the fact that Jun started acting like this basically from day one, from the moment in the storage room when he realizes that Po likes Thame. He starts butting in right away, without knowing anything. Literally the only thing he knows is that they like each other (assuming that he understood Thame's feelings since he knows him so well). Why would he do that?

He basically never saw them interact much precisely bc he always tried to come in between them lmao

Also I don't think it's fair to say that Thame owes Po an answer and it wouldn't be fair of Jun to be mad at Thame bc of that. I mean, Po never confessed to Thame, and to be honest Thame is the one who made his feelings clear (even though Jun doesn't know but, again, he literally doesn't know anything lmao)

So I don't know! Maybe I am thinking about it too much??? But despite the resolution I still don't get Jun's reasoning lmao as I said, the only part that made sense to me was that he wanted to push Thame to realize how far he would go to be with Po and how much he's ready to fight for it.

Okay so, I love Jun, I really do - he's interesting and funny and just the right level of little shit while still being a pretty good friend.

But still, I'll be honest and say I don't really get where everything he said to Thame came from.

First, he started acting like that with Po, coming in between him and Thame from pretty much the very beginning; why did he even care about Po at that point? What was it to him if Thame 'didnt treat him well enough'? Like, you barely know the guy, why do you even care lmao but okay, he just loves being a little shit, we get it

But also, why did he act like Thame was treating Po so horribly??? Thame did one mistake and that was not telling Po he would be late for their date - which, okay, could be considered a pretty big thing, but at the same time... that's literally it.

Thame was already being extra careful and thoughtful towards Po, because he already knew he didn't want to make the same mistakes he made before, because he already knew there was the risk of getting too much into his work that he could end up neglecting Po, and he didn't want that.

We saw that over and over again, we saw how he communicates well to Po how important he is to him and how much he wants him to feel loved by him and how he never wants to neglect him.

I don't get it. Seriously. Apart from the cinema thing, why would Jun say that Thame is being so horrible to Po? I can understand Thame himself thinking that he isn't doing enough, but that's because he want to give everything to Po, he wants everything to be as perfect as possible between them. But like, from an outsider's pov (like Jun's), I can't see any problem tbh

Jun says something like that Thame is making Po revolve around him and I'm like... why, how, what do you mean?? 'youre not pushing him to his full potential' (or something like that), and like... what was Thame supposed to do 😭 they're just now getting to know each other!!! Jun there's no need to be so dramatic, theyve literally just started kind of seeing each other 😭

I mean, I can understand the "I want Thame to be ready to fight for Po no matter what" bc there will surely be a lot of obstacles to their relationship, and I can also see that Jun acting like that was useful to solidify in Thame the resolution that he really wants to be with Po. After all, if he's ready to fight his best friend to be with him then that means he won't back down before anything. And I love that, tbh!!

But I don't get the "you're not treating him right" because he is!!!! He's doing amazing actually!!!!

I'm like a 3rd of the way done writing the first full chapter of this story, but I do have the prologue up on my Ao3 already, as well as a several years old "scene dump" with various moments that I was kinda laying out for the story that may or may not make it into the actual fic. fujiwara actually makes perfect sense i just didnt know who she was lol

this is hecatia lapislazuli (her design kinda reminds me of chaosism realicide). shes a spunky/"eccentric" goddess of hell and she dislikes authority. her special ability is "having three bodies" whatever that means and im p sure shes from the same game as clownpiece! anyways the goddess thing particularly reminded me of you :3

hahaha can't blame you about not knowing fujiwara, there's so many touhou characters. and oooo i see i see... i like the goddess thing but i don't think she may not really be my type of character actually (upon a lil' further reading) !! maybe too silly/eccentric? but then again i didn't go very deep in how she's actually like so i may not be correct, plus her three bodies power seems to kick ass hehe. and her design and concept are very cool... also i love how you really see me as a god. thank you for explaining darling!! <3

on that topic i have to say i also really like this girlie (koishi komeji) shes so green and pretty and kind <3 bbgirl

i thimk shes pretty well-known but just in case: she's got a magic eye which allows her to see/read people's mind but she chose to close it, thus disabling her powers, because people were scared of them. so she became more authentic, she gained her the ability to be forgotten at will and it made her very sweet (compared to her sister, who's got the same eye-powers but open and is pretty unfriendly due to it i think). sweetie pie <3<3

hmm, random thoughts about the FXMQ... a silly headcanon: Feng Xin has very much been hoisted by his own petard by heckling Mu Qing! That is to say, he'll harass Mu Qing relentlessly about something stupid only to be confronted with a similar situation and realise that there's absolutely NO way he can act in anyway similar to Mu Qing or he'll never hear the end of it.

(For example, he has tolerated some truly atrocious divine statues in the past because he's heckled Mu Qing so much about how picky he is with his divine statues that there's no WAY he can say ANYTHING without seeing that smug bastard's face in his head so he just has to bite his tongue and tolerate some unspeakably ugly statues.)

Mu Qing doesn't generally suffer from similar overthinking (he'll just prepare to kick FX's ass if he dares to say anything about it) except for things more directly related to himself. I think he genuinely finds sewing/embroidery/etc rather relaxing work but he'd rather die than have anyone ever see him do it because he's made such a big deal about not doing that sort of "servant" work anymore.

(He actually really enjoyed stitching Ruoye back together because it gave him the perfect excuse -- he's returning a favour!! and Xie Lian is hopeless!! of course he had to!! -- and he secretly considered using white thread to embroider some invisible little designs just because he doesn't quite want to stop... only he knew he'd get caught if he messed with Xie Lian's spiritual device like that and gave up the idea)

hot take but. oda is honestly one of the most interesting prominent side characters in y0 to me. like. don’t get me wrong obviously i don’t condone his actions, but speaking as a character design guy, i think he’s got a whole lot of complexity to think about in his story and identity that people tend to ignore/overlook because he’s not a black and white “good” person. like no shit he’s morally fucked, that doesn’t mean his intense pining and crazed level of dedication to tachibana and the lengths all his guilt and repressed love for the man he saw as the best thing to ever grace his life drove him to aren’t interesting to think about– if anything it makes him more interesting. he was. really something

Nagisa: dark knight, likes the ability to be fundamentally immortal and the little buddy you get on that job path. Had full control of his credit card in the cash shop and rolled really lucky on a bunch of style surprise boxes (he never sells any of his items they just sit in his cash inventory until the next cash inventory transfer event)

Hiyori: Wind archer for the aesthetics. I also gave him an arcane umbra bow instead of absolab because it was prettier fuck you. Complete set to compliment the green of the wind archer's skills and his purple accents in his face

Ibara: Battle mage to support Nagisa. He casts spell of beat you to death with his staff. Has a default hair style but its for the explorers not for resistance. Only spent money to get the depressed face when he saw how much Nagisa spent on style surprise boxes (Ibara plays the meso market to buy his boxes as well as keeps a close eye on the auction house)

Jun: Thunderbreaker also for the aesthetics since Hiyori forced him to be a cygnus knight with him. Made a hodge podge of an outfit with tiger and leopard print stuff from the auction house. Probably got an animal damage skin during one of the anniversary events.
