dylan couldn't believe the shit day she was having. she had woken up late and missed her pilates class, then she spilt coffee all over her laptop, and right now she was fifteen minutes late to her music class. it was her first ever day of college too.

even though she was having a horrible day, she was still dressed cute. she decided she wanted to start taking her school more seriously. and that meant actually going to class.

the thing about dylan though is that she didn't need school. she had over one hundred million followers on all platforms. she was what someone would call an influencer.

influencers usually didn't continue with school if they didn't need to so when dylan decided to still attend college it was a shock to a lot of people; including her family.

her family were all also influencers and didn't decide to attend college; rather deciding to work on their brand instead. a brand that dylan opted out of, she had decided to enter marketing at boston college.

she entered her music class to find that there was no less than twenty five students inside. thats what happens when you attend a private college! dylans strategy her whole life was to always sit in the back of classes. (it was easier to skip class and just lie to the professor and say you were there)

there was one seat left where three other boys sat. she set her stuff down. the boys giving her an odd look, not thinking anyone was going to take that last seat between them or probably trying to figure out why the hell she looked so familiar. dylan got that look often.

the professor though was deep in lecture about their upcoming assignment and dylan was too busy trying to find a top for her upcoming brand dinner in New York. she was pulled out of her own little world when the professor noticed she was not listening and had missed the introduction part of class and decided to call her out on it.

she felt a tap from the boy next to her getting her attention because it seemed the professor had been calling her.

your biggest “blockade” is your over commitment to your desired reality & shifting as a whole. there needs to be balance or you are pouting yourself at risk for losing your sense of self & going into a downwards spiral. your relationship with shifting is filled with limerence instead of taking control of your life & looking at your life (here or in your dr) long term. you may have multiple dr’s which only fuel that fascination with shifting as a concept. you want to experience so many different things, but you can’t do everything all at once. you have made too many commitments at once. to provide that clarity to yourself, focus on one place at a time. the reason you are so disconnected to your dr is because you’re trying to simultaneously connect with the ten others that you have in that works.

you already understand what doesn’t serve you, doesn’t serve you. weather that be patterns or methods or mindset. you have already let go of them. you don’t need to rehash what you already know. while nostalgic, the era of 2020 / 2021 shiftok has ended & looking back on the past is pointless. because of this looking back to this era with such a yearning to re-spark that initial excitement that you had when the idea of shifting was shown to you, it can quickly become a distraction; reminiscing instead of reigniting.

if you feel stuck, it’s because you feel directionless in your shifting journey. you have so many ideas & so much you want to do but feel lost at sea. you are struggling yo see progress or success. without looking back on what no longer serves you, go back to what you want to get out of shifting. to get out of this never ending cycle, you need to take responsibility for yourself & journey. you also need to recognize the power you already hold. nothing separates a “successful” shifter from a non successful shifter other then how you personally choose to define it. this could be a reflection of your lack of self confidence & be a sign to honoring yourself. how your view yourself, dictates your relationships with other people & how you show up in the world. you could be repressing traumas & emotions & trying to put a band aid over them though shifting. if you feel shame or stupid for putting in energy to reality shift, don't. if it brings you joy then know anything that brings you happiness is worth it & never a waste.

Hi X-Men fans so someone on TikTok (I finally got TikTok after deleting it like 3 years ago cause it was weighing so badly on my mental health and the only reason I downloaded it again was for scogan content.) that I follow posted these about a month ago:

Essentially what xmen would look like as cats. Uhm. YES is all I have to say, so I've already started drawing, and when I was talking to one of my friends who has vague knowledge about X-Men they said something about "X-Men warrior cats au" as a joke but I took it to heart. I wasn't a warrior cats kid but THEY WERE so I asked them to give me WC names for each of them. I took those names as inspiration and used a WC name generator to come up with some other stuff (because I don't know the criteria for naming.) I kinda want this au to span over the movies and cartoons and possibly some of the comics, but sadly I haven't read any of them so sim unsure. If anyone has any cats or WC names they think would fit a different X-Men character, like morph or kitty or warren or any1 else really PLEASEEE give 💕

I got names down for almost everyone except Nightcrawler and Wolverine. Nightcrawler could stand alone as a WC name, because im pretty sure it fits the criteria, but since everyone else's names are changed it feels weird to leave his. If anyone has suggestions PLEASE give them!!

However, I found a few names I think could work for Logan but I'm not sure which to pick. Poll time!

Wolfclaw was the original name my friend gave me, I came up with Bloodclaw, Tempertail (my friend told me the cats' names change sometimes so I thought maybe after he joined the X-Men 'clan' they would've started calling him that because of how irritable he is) and also Silversoul. I REALLY like Silversoul, it's in reference to the adamantium in his bones, and how the experiments done on him are a crucial part of who he is. Take your pick!

Theoretically, Daniel knew that his and Max's pre-game ritual could end up on the broadcast. Butt taps and silly handshakes in the tunnel inevitably end up on team Instagram stories even if they don't air on TV. It was to be expected, particularly on a Saturday night game against Ottawa.

Still, he didn’t exactly expect a whole montage. It's a nice little package, to be fair. It shows him and Max laughing next to each other in the tunnels and locker rooms before games, followed by their fingers interlocking in their usual drawn-out high five. Daniel prefers to fist bump the whole team and exit only before the goalies, but his routine with Max is always a bit of a production that holds up the line. After a game where Max scored two goals and Daniel threw his body in front of a rogue deflection and stopped the Sens from a late-third tie, the media naturally focuses on the montage. God forbid they talk about actual fucking hockey in the hockey interview.

It wasn’t a real collision. They’d just got tangled up together when things got chippy by the net. The go-karting clips of the two of them were so popular than even Max mentioned he’d seen them on Reels, and he’d carefully curated his feed to show him anything but Leafs content.

Daniel can’t explain it, this warmth that makes him feel like he’s glowing from inside out all the time since the season started, but he knows he feels it most when he sees people write his name alongside Max’s like their togetherness is a given.

So honestly while Winni le DOES definitely take after Buggy the most, she's not quite a CLONE per se. Her hair is a dark, almost black, blue, and her nose is a little less RED red and more pink-red. Everything else though? Carbon copy from birth.

Alright, so I have loved wilbur soot’s content for a very long time, 4 years or so. I watched the streams and listened to his music from the start. His content is entwined with many of my fond memories.

Earlier today, I had a breakdown over this whole situation, because, as I’ve been quite busy with school, my job, and other assorted things in my life, I found out about this morning. I had woken from a nightmare about my previous abuser. Who i will be talking about a lot more of as they really impacted my views on this situation.

However this nightmare had left me in a fragile mood, my girlfriend was still sleeping and i didn’t want to wake her, so to comfort myself i went to read one of my bookmarked fanfictions, this fanfiction, while i dont remember the title is one that i’ve found comforting for a very long time, so much so that when im stressed my partner has it saved to send to me so i can calm down.

It was a fanfiction about quackity and tubbo, wilbur soot was mentioned maybe 5 times, and the author had deleted it.

This caused me to try and find out why, so i went to their page and they had posted a temporary fic explaining what had been going on.

My first reaction had been disbelief, I then went to research everything. It was a lot to process.

I watched shelby’s vod. Before this i had mainly been disconnected from what i had seen, taking it it but not with any of my own feelings or thoughts really, just processing.

Shelby’s situation hits really hard for me because a lot of it mirrors my own abusive relationship of a few years ago. The wording Wilbur used against her, sounds like what my old partner would use against me. His actions, such as her having to clean and taking care of food, and amenities, were things i had to experience.

Abuse TW:

My old partner would physically abuse me through biting as well, he would claim that he just liked knowing i was his, and yet, like shubble, if i ever used our safe word, which happened so fucking often, he either wouldn’t listen, bite down harder on my neck, or fucking smile at me before letting go.

This got to the point that multiple times he had drawn blood from my neck, that i still have scars from today. And as i watch Shubble talk about her story which is ever so close to mine, I wonder that if I had watched this before, maybe i wouldn’t have stayed in that relationship.

I proceeded to stay in this relationship for 2 years before i realized how much harm he was doing to me, because i truly believed he loved me, because of all the lovebombing he would do.

And yet i felt pain aside from sympathy or memories, when learning of this, as the content Wilbur had put out had actually helped me out of this relationship, his music was pretty much all i listened to the months of healing after i got out and it helped, the art is good, and yet the author is one i cannot respect nor support in anyway now that i am aware.

Right back to the content. I don’t believe that we should throw it all away, i don’t think that people should be deleting their art, fanfiction, or anything based on Wilbur. Because in the end it’s all art that we have created and interpreted and though the man who inspired it is horrible, all that has been made does not reflect his actions, but instead love and creativity from vast multifaceted community.

One can continue their writing and work because they are the ones creating it, not him, and besides most interpretations of him stray quite far from the source anyways

You were talking about ketuvians and their struggle to find a sense of self and it made me think of these types of people. I know someone with ketu 1H and magha moon who did this to an extent. She used to identify as non binary and was constantly shifting through different names and pronouns but then one day she just kind of stopped and started saying how she thinks pride is pointless and a waste of time or whatever😭 it wasn’t *that* extreme but I still thought it was a significant shift in belief in such a short time.

I was sexually harassed via having literal porn spammed through my DM’s, peer pressured by somebody I didn’t even know into sending my very private TikTok login information including my phone number and location, and then they all turned around and called me a liar because I couldn’t provide proof and they had their followers publically make fun of me for THREE DAYS STRAIGHT- that shit really, really fucks with you man

The worst part is watching Jiao go off to her followers days later with the most woe-is-me post crying about how everyone just wants to harrass her and how she’s just an innocent twitter user 🥺🥺 meanwhile she is (apparently) STILL doing the EXACT SAME THINGS to people to this day. But nobody has the guts to call her out because she has a large following and anyone who does is just automatically racist and sexist

I don’t think it’s very fair that I’ve been left with trauma that, to this day, months later is affecting the relationships around me- and again I’m sure most of this is just. An unfortunate mixture of the constant stress I currently live in with my parents splitting up and general depression/suicidal thoughts but as far as I can tell that’s where the origin is from

But tldr I’m sorry if I ever get randomly sad on here BCNEHWNEUENSI no matter how hard I try I just. Physically CANNOT shake the feeling that the friends I’ve made on here would be infinitely better without me no matter how hard I try, and asking for reassurance otherwise seems very silly on my end BXBEBWNJENDXIDK

Living at peace is one of the most enjoyable lifestyles ! When you give yourself the time to be alone and really self reflect, you find yourself being more productive, a better mood, and just relaxation. Don’t know where to start? Let me guide you!

Black Barbie’s tips for living at peace🎀

1. Block anyone that you don’t like/ have issues with or unfollow any account that brings you the wrong energy/mindset.

Once you stop associating with someone, why would you want to keep their number? Or even their social media. That should be an immediate no. For all you know, they could be stalking your page just to find something to use against you! Blocked & deleted. Also unfollow any toxic accounts on platforms. (Instagram, Tiktok, X) etc. Once you start finding peace, you wanna watch videos or listen to advice that is actually useful and will help you in the long run. Follow motivation accounts, iconic quotes, even pinterest can bring you peace just with their visualization.

2. Avoid arguing and drama!

Some may feel the need to argue or step up as soon as someone says something about them & charge. Yes we all might have that feeling (I get it too sometimes) but once you become cool, calm, & collected, (the 3 C’s!) you are unstoppable! Without a reaction people will tell that you don’t care about what they have to say about you because you already know your worth as a pretty girl. So ignoring can go a good way. However, if you find it hard to ignore, just tell that someone (or group of people) that you don’t care & don’t say anything more. If you do need to control your anger when stuff like this happens, listening to meditation videos & music really helps. Most importantly, STAY OUTTA DRAMA. Once you develop this habit, you don’t have to worry about who to defend or even getting yourself involved in a situation that has nothing to do with you, you can get yourself in trouble. If someone is constantly bringing you into drama, consider distancing yourself from them.

3. Drop any fake friends

This kind of refers to step 1. but please drop fake friends! These people just come into your life to make you miserable and look down on yourself. I have had my fair share of fake friends and it’s not pretty. It can even be guy friends, not just jealous envious girls. Sometimes it could be hard to identify who is a fake friend in your life but if you connect the dots, you may have one. Here are signs to watch out for:

• Talks bad about you “jokingly”

• Doesn’t compliment your success/your pics

• Takes it to heart when you have something that they don’t

• Never defends your name

• Doesn’t invite you anywhere

• Uses you (for $$, talking to a guy, schoolwork) etc.

• Always comes to you asking for advice (you end up feeling used)

Of course there could be more signs but just please watch out for them & if they are fake drop them immediately. Once you do, you won’t regret it. Instead surround yourself with more positive friends.

4. Spending time off your phone

(ofc don’t throw out your phone like serena, lol you’re gonna need it sooner or later)

When you spend less time on your phone you won’t believe the things you could get done.

• Studying

• Everything showers

• Cleaning

• Reading

• Baking/ cooking

• Putting outfits together

• Spending time with family & friends

• Working out

5. Writing in a diary/journal

At the end of the day, I just love to write down what i’m feeling and my plans for the next days ahead in my comfy pjs and pink pen (or my notes app) it relaxes me & also helps when i have nobody to talk to about how im feeling because im naturally shy (trying to break this habit lol). But when i do this i always feel 10x better & sometimes i listen to good music too.

it's so hard to talk about this without sounding like a stereotypical conspiracy theorist but it is increasingly blatantly obvious to me that social media apps and sites are DESIGNED to show you things you don't want to see.

i have a twitter account that is unused. it has never interacted with a post, has never followed anyone, and has never been followed. granted, i do not use twitter. obviously. that account exists so i don't have to deal with the pop-ups and can actually see posts chronologically. yet every single time i have opened twitter.com, at least one of the 3 posts i see at the top of whatever they call the for you tab is a callout post, vaguepost, or apology following a callout post. every. single. time. because that's what that tab's for. that tab is there to show you shit you hate so you engage and stay longer.

tiktok and tumblr aren't immune to this, obviously. i've run several lil experiments and tumblr actually increases the amount of posts with certain tags it shows me when i hit "not interested" enough times. that happening today is what triggered this rant.

and like yeah whatever curate your experience. but i think we also need to acknowledge that the entire system is designed to prey on you and make you angry so you make the advertisers more money.

actually i dont know why im making this post will wood already has the entire thing in better words:

but yeah idk man i'm just thinking about things. like how i know jack shit about any of the extracurriculars at my school i'm not currently involved in because they all post info on their own instagram pages and nowhere else. and how when a well-known person stops using twitter or social media in general people panic and think something happened to them.

people say "gen alpha is gonna grow up with this" but like.... i knew what twitter, reddit, and tumblr were as a kid. i even got an idea of the kind of culture each one had going, since i watched a few of those content-farming voiceover youtubers. and i'm still really fucking confused as to how we got here. what do you even do with more than one social media account?? if you have a tumblr and a twitter and an instagram are you like. checking all of them? how do you make time for anything else when you have multiple spheres of the entire internet you're trying to be active in and be in the loop on everything?

i havent played my nsb save in a while since im back home from uni atm. i go bsck on sunday so im sure i will be back into sim mode the second i step foot on mancunian ground. ive been really interested in posting lookbooks as well, as soon as i figure out how to take ok quality photos and sort out my cc. but if youre talking physically working, im at work on my break rn and i have been slaying at making those big macs.
