I love the Antu "cute beast" bodies but really wasn't thrilled by any of the blind box designs (except the hidden one. lmao) so I had to grab these when they were announced but I was NOT ready for just how gorgeous and detailed they are 😨 Easily an incredibly close runner up to the mianmian dogs for my favorites out of my collection so far

The I got Gorgeous Dreams, BEEMAI Antu Dreamlike Tea Party, Daydream series! I am going bonkers, shes SOOOO CUTEE AWOUUGFH... she's so solid, I've never handled BJD before and now! I have one! She may be tiny but ah!!! AOWUUGHH!!! Guest starring my Hello! Good Smile Kuwabara Kazuma because I needed a good size reff and also he's cute with her bow Also, the most important thing... She can LAY DOWN!! She can also make a great Yukina from Yu Yu Hakusho if I mod her a bit!!!

Yay! New friends!

Who will they be?

i bought more dolls. two are still in transit but the first arrived today: my antu cute beast magic series box. i bought this one as a pre-opened box because i wanted the little sheep so badly and didn’t want to risk pulling one of the others.

firstly, here’s the body model before i dressed her.

her sculpting is super cute and she’s mostly well-strung. i think her arms a little bit loose, but not too badly, she can still hold a post. the curls in her hair are super nice and her horn is so cute. she’s got a good range of motion in her neck despite her hair. there’s some motion in her hooves and she stands up well.

i wanted to get some close-ups of her face because her eyes are super pretty but they didn’t show up well on camera :( oh well. but her fringe hides her cute brows and the blushing is a nice detail. i adore her little sheep ears.

and here she is dressed!

i love all the little details on her top and you can’t see them well, but she’s got puffy shorts as well. she comes with a hand that can hold the staff, but some putty or something might help since it slips out sometimes while trying to move her.

i haven’t decided on a name for her yet.

i was waiting for her to arrive to see if i wanted to get the new prologue and epilogue girls from the same series and i just might have to order them now!

for reference, she’s about the same size as the kukaka insect doll and much shorter than the autna cctv doll.

New blindbox tiiiime~

These are the antu chinese dunhuang nine colored deer series. I originally ordered two but unforchies i got duplicates...so I will just be keeping one and giving the other to a friend.

The one I got is the Baoxiang Flower version, and tbh she was the one I wanted the most b/c she has little Deer Pants. She poses pretty well and I can even get her to stand on three legs~

I also love how they've painted her face, her little pink eyelashes and little round eyebrows...

1. Antu Dreamlike Teaparty Centaur BJD’s

I’ve thought about these constantly since they were revealed. They’re just so SWEET 🥹. I have a couple coming in this week, I really hope I get the purple one!

2. Ddung Clown Doll

Ddung is a Korean doll line I just learned about! They seem to fall between collector and playline— the bodies are study & the outfits are very detailed and well-constructed. This clown is EVERYTHING

3. Licca Chan Bunny Outfit

Okay so this is an outfit FOR a doll and not a doll itself, but oh my god look at Licca’s fluffy bunny outfit!! UGH!! Basic Licca dolls can be relatively affordable. Plus, the clothing sets usually fit rainbow high 👀

4. Dorothy Forest Spirit

These are figures more than dolls, but I just adore these little deer ladies!! I have the one with the green raindrop dress, and I bring her around everywhere to keep me company. Their sitting position makes them so easy to display!

5. Teennar Campus Blindbox BJDs

They’re fruit themed, they’re fashionable, and they’re SO baby!! There’s also going to be a series of figurines and a set of Sakura-themed recolors for this line!

Long Loong Lesbians in Love

I want to lightly sand and maybe hot glue suede all their segments to help them pose more easily. The plastic is just so smooth compared to resin. I'm also considering maybe sculpting some different faces for them too? The Antu faceplate for the last few series is getting so overdone.

Antu, the Visage of Paths.

This is the character of my dear and beloved friend @tomatikoma.

Angels and later demons paving all sorts of paths and directions between literally everything imaginable. They often worked together with other angels. For example, together with Ellil they laid wind streams, together with Kishar they created familiar roads, together with Adad they set the directions of rivers, streams and clouds. Without these guys, the world would be a different and much worse place. They were literally trailblazers.

And Zarael was one of them. Together with his closest brother, they worked for our good. And together with their brother, they found themselves and after the Abyss in the bodies of twins. Zarael is more active, agile, and boisterous, however, as is typical of his Visage. His brother, on the other hand, is a true Kishar: calm, reliable, solid as a rock. Together they work in the home workshop, together they defend the honor of the House, together they survive in this changed world, together they grace the Third House with their presence... How good it is to have someone who will be there for you no matter what happens.

Doll mail!

today, i got my kikagoods package, i ordered two different dolls because i wanted to get one of my friend (who had been eyeing one of them) and i wasn’t sure which one she’d like more. and i kept the other one

they were the one of the Antu tidal secret language mermaids, and one of the Kukaka insect cafe girls!

first, the Antu mermaid

i have less pics of her, because she is wasn’t for me, but here’s the box. it’s very large. if you’ve gotten a bjd blind box before, you’ll notice how much bigger it is

my friend got gang coral, the purple one! i don’t have a pic of all the contents of the box, but they come with

-a seashell bra (and mini sticky dots to attach them to the doll)

-two extra sets of hands

-a set of hip fins that peg into the tail

-a dress (different patterns for each doll)

-the usual faceplates (1 face, 1 front hair, 1 back hair)

-a flexible coral crown

i’ll say very worth the price compared to what you get for other bjds blind boxes, plus the fact they’re huge.

they are not super easy to display (very top heavy, no legs) but they can kind of “sit up” on their tail. (i have a pic later on)

next up, the maid cafe insect girls!

i was very excited to get this one, they’re very unique looking and you all know i’m big on bug girls

apparently i didn’t take a picture of the box this time, oops.

here we can see all the parts, as well as the unique body sculpt these girls have!

this takes the cartoony proportions of the series 2 bonnies and pushes them up to 11. i adore their giant hands and feet

here’s their extra hands next to the antu mermaid extra hands, for reference.

here’s her dressed! i did have to take the hands off to fit her sleeves, and they were quite difficult to put on again. a good amount of trying to re-string her with a wire and holding my breath and hoping i wouldn’t drop the string and dissemble her further.

the dress is open for her abdomen and magnetic wings to show. it only velcros a small amount

here she is! i got the white moth, rongrong. she was my third choice (behind orchid mantis and scarab) but seeing these now, there’s not a single one that could have disappointed me.

Dragons 🐉 are a theme I am trying to draw until it’s Chinese new year 🧧 because it’s gonna be the year of the wood 🪵 dragon 🐉

So my trolls oc trollsona has a tiny little eastern style dragon in her messy fluffy hair and I am super excited to get blind box dolls by the creators of some of the Penny’s box bjd blind box dolls witch are being listed / sold on @kikagoods website right now under the tile Adou-Loong Fantasia seriess Action figure bjd blind box

Because these are DRAGON 🐉 themed dolls (most likely to do with 2024 being the year of the dragon)

I’m trying for 2 and hopefully the 2 I get I’ll like them ( I mean I like the look of all of them so far but I haven’t seen them in person yet so we will see once I get 2 to Australia 🇦🇺)
