These people don’t fucking understanding that anti-Zionism is not antisemitism. They are not synonymous with each other. Actually, the concept of Zionism IS antisemitic.

We do not have the right to self identify, first of all. We are not supposed to have a Jewish land right now. Secondly, Israel is a theocracy, and any form of theocracy is bad. It isn’t just bad in Iran, it wasn’t just bad in Spain, theocracies are bad. Period. “But it’s so free!!!” no the fuck it is not and a “state” run on religious values is inherently not free for anyone who doesn’t abide those values + not to mention it is not free for the indigenous populations.

“You’re calling for a genocide of Jews again!!!” nobody is calling for that except maybe genuine antisemitic extremists. The vast majority are not. Had Israelis not taken over Palestinian land with assistance from the west and used that assistance to oppress Palestinians for 75 years, they probably would’ve loved to have you there. But instead, you are oppressors. Does that mean you have to die? No. But if you’re going to attack, they’re going to respond. And you cannot complain.

If you believe the values Israelis believe about Palestinians, like if it was ANY other group you’d be met with scorn and hatred. So why are Israelis allowed to treat Palestinians like dogs, take their homes away, murder them, destroy their gardens, their family lines, why are they allowed to?

I don’t think theocracies are good, but if you’re gonna have one, follow the actual fucking words. Don’t bastardise them. Judaism is peaceful, we are NOT animals. And in the same breath, you Israelis and Zionist Jews are NOT the moral high ground for all Jews. You are NOT the “way”. You are NOT all knowing, and I think a few (all) of you need to check yourself.

Rep. Jamaal Bowman and his campaign were duped by the parody social-media account of the fake “Chief Rabbi of Gaza.”

The phony X account of “Rabbi Linda Goldstein” is infamous for spouting anti-Zionist vitriol to ensnare unsuspecting progressives unaware that it is satirical.

The rabbi messaged Bowman about sponsoring a fundraiser for his Democratic primary campaign.

Under Hamas rule Jews were not allowed in Gaza, and the only ones there now are hostages and IDF soldiers attempting to rescue them — something Bowman evidently didn’t pick up on when he began corresponding with the account.

Bowman, a member of the far-left House “Squad,” has become one of the most vocal critics of Israel and defenders of Hamas in Congress.

He is currently locked in a fierce primary battle with Westchester County Executive George Latimer, with polls suggesting Latimer could beat him badly.

The situation is crystal clear. One of the main successes of Israeli propaganda is to convince the world that the situation is "complicated", but it's far from being complicated. It's probably the least complicated conflict in the world today, and it's all about basically those who have power, those who oppress and subjugate and tread over the indigenous people of the land, who have been oppressed and subjugated and expelled from their land... Israel is all about creating a place which is for one select group and only that. It's not only the fact that they wanted to take over, to usurp the land and the resources and all that, it's also about this exclusive nature of the place, that this is ours and only ours. And even any Palestinian born in Israel, even if they're Israeli citizens, is already regarded as some sort of threat to the state. They need to segregate, they need to separate and not interact with Palestinians; it's part of Israeli identity. So we have to understand that Israeli identity depends on denying Palestinian identity, and denying either the existence of Palestinians altogether, or denying their identity, their culture, and so on.

Learning about what happened to Iqrit was eye-opening to me.

Iqrit was a Christian village located in mandatory Palestine. Originally allotted to form part of the arab state in the 1947 UN partition plan, it was seized and depopulated by the IDF during the 1948 war and their territory became part of the new state of Israel.

All of its Christian inhabitants were forced to flee to Lebanon or the Israeli village of Rameh, and, despite the promise that they would be returned in two weeks' time, the villagers were not allowed to return. In 1951, in response to a plea from the Iqrit villagers, the Israel Supreme Court ruled that the former residents of Iqrit be allowed to return to their homes. However, before that happened, the IDF, despite awareness of the Supreme Court decision, destroyed Iqrit. Descendants of the villagers maintain an outpost in the village church, and bury their dead in its cemetery.

This is a clear, unambiguous case of injustice.

The University of Minnesota is in hot water after it appointed an anti-Zionist as director of its Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies.

Raz Segal worked as a professor of Holocaust and Genocide Studies at Stockton University in New Jersey.

But Segal has spent his career bashing Israel, equating everything it has done to survive and defend itself as genocide.

Karen Painter and Bruno Chaouat resigned from the department’s advisory board in protest of Segal’s appointment:

“Dr. Segal has positioned himself on an extreme end of the political and ideological spectrum with his publications on Israel and Gaza, including an essay in which he accused Israel of genocide a week after the October 7 terrorist attacks,” Painter wrote in her Friday night resignation email to Provost Rachel Croson and Interim President Jeff Ettinger. “The CHGS director is ideally a scholar whose principal area of research and public commentary is the Holocaust itself, and certainly should not be an individual publicly identified with extremist positions on the present Middle East war,” she wrote. “We need a center director who will bring our community together to understand how the Holocaust and other genocides occurred, not someone who blames Israel for the rape and murder of 1,200 civilians, and kidnapping of hundreds more.”

Six days after the October 7 massacre, Segal wrote “A Textbook Case of Genocide” in Jewish Currents.

You’d think it’s a piece about the massacre, describing it as the worst attack on Jews since the Holocaust.

Nope!

The piece is a sympathetic piece towards Gaza, criticizing Israel’s treatment of it. In other words, “Can you blame Hamas for attacking, murdering, and kidnapping Jews?” He also brags about his anti-Zionist studies and works throughout his career.

Israel defending itself is textbook genocide.
