Weird Wednesday Headcanon: Sarada & Mirai are time travellers in my AU (+ a little venting about Boruto).
This is basically me, yelling at the top of my lungs, and I am sure I am speaking on behalf of the good 90% of the fandom, who actually cares about the story:
BORUTO. FUCKING. SUCKS!
And I gotta say, out of all the newcomers in Boruto, the only two newcomer shinobi, who didn't make me want to kill myself, were Sarada Uchiha and Mirai Sarutobi. Ironically, these two are also the same characters that barely have any screen presence (I know that Sarada is part of the main cast, but for some reason, from what I have seen so far, at least, she is somehow even less useful than her mom, in correlation to the rest of her team), or any major feats of their own...
...I seem to be noticing a pattern here. Off-topic, but, I NEED to talk about this for a second. May it be Kishimoto or Ikemoto, any living being with boobs and a vagina, will always be treated as "second rate cheerleaders" under their pens, and they unironically believe, this is all done in favor of women, while relying on harmful and outdated stereotypes. Thanks. For nothing. And then they wonder, why no one likes the way they portray females in their IP.
You'd think that, by the time Boruto rolled around, they would have actually learned their lesson, and not dare repeating what made their story receive so much criticism in the first place? But nope. I guess, because "nostalgia sells well"? So, thanks for reminding me, how useless you two jesters are.
But back to the topic at hand: Essentially, Sarada and Mirai had their own timeline completely destroyed by the Otsutsuki clan...
...at least, this is what they learned about them, because, really, the Otsutsukis by themselves, aren't really a "clan" in the normal sense, it was more like, an orchestrated science experiment, if you will. To create the perfect, most flawless shinobi, with barely any weaknesses. And guess who unleashed these monsters. I tell you:
Orochimaru.
I mean, come on, all these years of research had to amount to something, and I REFUSE to believe, he was ever truly "redeemed", to the point where he would just stroll around Konoha, like he owns the place, like an NPC. To me, he will remain the shinobi equivalent to Frieza. Nuff' said. And I will never forgive Boruto era Naruto for being so stupid and spineless to let this snake-headed waste of space stay in the village. That HAD to come back to bite him in the ass, man.
Besides, just by itself, this decision was so full of shit.
Let me get this straight:
Orochimaru committed unethical human experimentation, kidnapping, bribery, war crimes and grave desecration, all for what? Attaining eternal life? ...He returns back to Konoha.
Sasuke went rogue, because of circumstances, all enforced by Konoha themselves, and the elders, meaning, he mostly fought to survive, wanting to pay his clan, and his brother, the respect they rightfully deserved (besides, his kill count is a joke compared to Orochimaru's)? NO! KEEP HIM OUT! THE UCHIHA ARE TRASH, THEY DON'T BELONG IN KONOHA!
...Why is anyone a fan of Boruto again? Shit like this, is just disrespecting everything we were conditioned to rightfully judge, because the system clearly enjoys playing dirty. And yet for some reason, Naruto knowingly chooses to be Hokage in the exact same system, that treated him, Sasuke, Gaara, Kakashi, Anko, Hinata, and every other jinchuriki, like dirty dishwater. He always spoke the loudest about bringing peace, yet he never dares to challenge the Konoha elders... Who, not only are the biggest reason as to why 90% of all the conflicts in the story we had so far even happened in the first place, considering they endorsed what Danzo was doing the whole time, but also, by the way:
ARE STILL FUCKING ALIVE, AND PART OF THE AUTHORITY! PUT THEM IN JAIL!
...
So, yeah. Sarada, Mirai, please, rewrite the freaking timeline, and fix this shit. Get it out of my face. Naruto and Kakashi playing the bootlickers for the elders is so freaking OOC for them, especially in regards to how much they claim to be behind Sasuke, and just letting someone like Orochimaru return, willy-nilly.
...And to further shit on all the tropes, you know how Future Sarada will make her grand entrance into the story here?
...Putting Kabuto, who dares to attack the Leaf village, with an army of White Zetsu clones, laced with "Otsutsuki" proxy DNA, in another Tsukuyomi Genjutsu, while just destroying all of the White Zetsus, without even breaking a single sweat. And her Tsukuyomi is nothing like Itachi's, it's more loving, gentle, almost angelic, how she puts Kabuto "to rest", in a field of cherry blossom petals...
...before slicing him to pieces with her dad's trusted blade.
I do need to bring up though, by the time Sarada and Mirai travel back to the Blank Period to prevent the birth of the Otsutsuki plague, the two are young adults, around the same age group as the Konoha 12, basically 19 / 20.
This is how they look (a visual basis):
Sarada:

Mirai:

Added details, to make the SasuSaku fans squeal with happiness:
Future Sarada inherits her dad's sword
She unlocked the Mangekyo Sharingan, after learning the truth about why Sasuke remained absent, for the majority of her lifespan (blame the Uchiha stigma, subtly enforced by the elders for this, wiping everything under the rug, and Naruto's and Kakashi's refusal to help her father)
She bears the Byakugo Seal from her mom
She also wears Kawaki's piercings
Boruto's / Sasuke's headband is hers, and she wears it like her mom does
And for Mirai fam, to respect some of the more wholesome aspects of her characters:
Future Mirai inherits her dad's chakra blades
She wears her mother's bandages, and is a Genjutsu master, much like her
Might Guy's weights, meaning, she is insanely fast, once she takes them off
Tenten's weapon arsenal is hers to bear, too
Rock Lee taught her the 8 Gates
And in general, I will leave it up to you to fill in the blanks on how mindblowingly wholesome, but also insanely heartwrenching Sarada's and Mirai's reunion with the past versions of their family and friends, would run down.
I am sure, Future Sarada will just fall apart, seeing her mom and dad again, after they got killed by Isshin Otsutsuki, even though, she wasn't even born yet around that time, and despite this version of her past having the Uchiha clan being pardoned and acknowledged, which is why Sasuke is a permanent resident this time, it would feel strange... ...but due to how deep Sasuke's and Sakura's love runs for each other, accepting Future Sarada comes almost naturally to them.
And well, poor Mirai, seeing both herself as a baby, and her still young mother again. That's gotta be so messed up, yet oddly comforting to be in the presence of a parent, who died protecting you, down to her last breath.
But on a lighter note, if these two were to interact with the Blank Period versions of their friends and comrades, just imagine how comically awkward it would be to realize: There are quite a number of deviations from what they were used to in their time. Examples being:
Neji is alive, and is dating Tenten
Kakashi and Anko are married, and Anko ain't overweight
Ino ended up with Choji, instead of Sai (who is deceased, along with Yamato, Hiashi and Might Guy)
Karui ended up going for Kiba, instead of Choji
Sasuke is actually besties with Neji, Kiba and Shikamaru, and all four are drinking buddies
Tenten runs a full-on tech workshop (she will be the one to rebuild the time machine from scratch)
Shino is a granny chaser, dating Mei Terumi
The Konoha elders were chased out of the village
Naruto, Hinata and Rock Lee share an apartment together
On demand of Sasuke, Team Taka / Hebi are now Leaf ninja
Oh, also, because I am that petty, Sarada will warn Naruto and Hinata about their future kids being nothing short of menaces to society, especially Boruto himself. Demanding them to punish their kids more often, whenever they misbehave, especially Boruto. She knows all too well, how big of a pain in the ass he was.
But in all seriousness, she will express genuine sadness to them, as she felt like, she failed to save their son and daughter the most, especially since Momoshiki inhabited Boruto's body, leaving them with not that many options anymore. She hopes that she can be of assistance this time, and assure that their kids will be able to grow up, without any of this drama.
Basically, Sarada and Mirai go back in time, to fix the mess, that is the Boruto story. Can be understood in two different ways:
Fuck the Boruto continuity, reset it, please. Make Sarada and Mirai part of the main cast to oppose the elders and feudal lords, referring back to this thread of mine:
Taking notes from SoulCalibur 6's storyline with Cassandra, who meets an alternate version of herself from a destroyed timeline, inside Astral Chaos (SoulCalibur fam, you know, you know)
And with more material for you to sink your teeth into, without further ado, I say:
PEACE.

Indra is moon because?
I wondered why Indra and his reincarnations are taked as the moon. It just got weird for me.
Indra's eyes were red as the sun. His black flame jutsu is named after the sun goddess. His natural element is fire, directly related to the sun. Damn, even the red part of the Uchiha clan cross looks like the rising sun. Where did the moon come from then?
And then it dawned on me. Indra is not the moon because it suits him.
Indra is moon because he reminds his father of Kaguya.
Hagoromo is sure that his son is a dangerous, power-hungry monster, just like his mother. The mother who became the moon. These are his direct words. So it doesn't matter what Indra really is, as long as he is dangerous in the eyes of his father, he will be the moon. He will be a reflection of Kaguya to him.

(And yes, Indra really is a power hungry monster in anime fillers but in his defense I will say that he is a cutie)

Hi! As a SNS shipper, I still don't understand why Kishi felt like he had to make Naruto and Sasuke receive the chakras of the brothers Indra and Ashura. He must've known that antis would've taken it and manipulated it into them being reincarnated brothers by soul/spirit. It's funny because it literally says in the manga that it's chakra! Chakra doesn't even equal spirit, it can be described as a supernatural energy source!!
Other than it adding more development, I don't really see a reason why he'd do that. Also, people say that the only reasons SNS were drawn to each other is because of the chakras from Ashura and Indra. What do you think about this?
Hi, the problem is with these people who cannot read with understanding. Sasuke repeatedly shows that he is dissatisfied with Naruto's answer about them maybe being brothers or friends. You can read more about it here. Kishi could not present it clearer because it is already clear as day. For instance when Sai spoke with Sasuke he said that Naruto considers him as brother and Sasuke straight up refuses and says that he has only one brother.
Naruto called him brother and friend because he was confused if what he feels for Sasuke can be considered that. It cannot and after their final fight Naruto himself says that he does not think he has an answer. Kishi also many times stated that their relationship is more than blood brothers and it is hard for him to explain what their bond is. If it was brotherly, friendly it would not be hard and he would explain it right away. If they are more than blood brothers then the only answer is that they are soulmates.

When Naruto talks with Hagoromo he straight up says that he is not Ashura and Sasuke is not Indra. Clear as day. Hagoromo does not even protest against this statement.

Why do you think Hagoromo chose Naruto and Sasuke? Bceuase even though they have Ashura and Indra's chakra they are totally different from them and from every other incarnation of them. All of them always chose to priorities their own goals and visions. Naruto and Sasuke break this cycle because they always would choose each other over their own goals. Why would they do it? What makes them so different? Love! A very strong love that can transform darkness into light. Friendship or brotherly love would not do it. Ashura and Indra failed and they were brothers. Hashirama and Madara shared strong friendship but still it could not change their fate. This is the reason why Hagoromo decided to show himself after so much time and gave his powers to Naruto and Sasuke. He saw the love that they both share and it gave him hope for the first time. He also points out that the love Sasuke feels is different than the love he had for his mother. There you have it!
The fact that Naruto and Sasuke are the Sun and the Moon is romantic in nature especially knowing that their love broke the cycle of war and hatred. The Moon is always feminine and the Sun is always masculine. The Sun appears to chase the Moon in the sky. The Moon needs the Sun to shine. Sasuke needs Naruto's love to break free from his darkness and hatred. Furthermore, they will always find each other in every lifetime. Is it not romantic trope? It is! Literal soulmates thing! SS and NH just wish to have it. I also want to point out that Sakura and Hinata are just one of the many wives that their incarnations had. They are not important at all and they are just additions. These women were never love of their lives because in different timelines they married with other women and these women were not incarnations of each other. The Sun and the Moon can have around them many stars but the center is them and they will remain together forever.

I have a confession to make
I am a big Naruto fan, but I never actually read the mangas or watched the anime. Now, before anyone comes after me saying that I can't be a Naruto fan if I haven't done either one, I want to clarify that I was six when I first saw the series and it happened to be the 'Wave Arc'. Six-year-old me was traumatized. But one specific character left an unforgettable impression on me, and that interest led me back to the series. That character was Uchiha Sasuke.
When I was finally old enough to get interested in it again and to truly appreciate it for the genius it is, there were already so many episodes that my adhd ass couldn't have possibly sat still long enough to catch up on the series. And no matter how much I love reading, I simply didn't have the money to buy 72 volumes of manga. Even so, I scraped together whatever knowledge I could of the series through youtube, tumblr, reddit, wiki etc,. I have more fanart saved on my phone than is probably healthy, but I don't care.
I have a huge interest in fictional culture and politics, and I am in awe of the world Kishimoto built, even when it's not perfect. I am endlessly fascinated by the Uchiha Clan, I will always think of Sasuke as the most captivating anime character in my life, and I will never stop being amused by the NH/SS/SNS shipping wars.
I guess I just wanted to share this little tidbit with the world because I have been intensely revisiting the 'Uchiha Sasuke' tags, and I believe the phrase "You never stop learning" applies quite nicely here. I want to express my gratitude to everyone who has contributed to this fandom, I appreciate all your insights.
To end this, because I had a point I was trying to make, I could honestly not care less if anyone accuses me of not being a true Naruto fan because I know how much love I have for it.

ŌTSUTSUKI KAGUYA
悲しみの女神

Who Is Kaguya Ōtsutsuki in Canon?
Kaguya is cited as the final antagonist within the series. She emerged from the Ōtsutsuki clan, a powerful alien race that travels from world to world to culture chakra fruit from the god tree and maintain their immortality. She is portrayed as cold, emotionless, and a controlling figure who seeks absolute peace through domination.
Kaguya as a character has faults within the story, she was introduced late which caused major shifts within the narrative of the story. Kaguya is often sighted as a poorly written and rushed villain which undermined prior villains such as Madara & Obito. Functioning more as a sudden final boss rather than a deeply developed antagonist.
So here I plan to develop Kaguya and maintain her role as the finale antagonist while expanding on her character and lore.

THE SORROWFUL GODDESS
悲しみの女神
Yata no Kagami Magatama Kusanagi
Who is my Kaguya?
Kaguya Ōtsutsuki was born into a lesser branch of the Ōtsutsuki clan, a priestly clan severing as the primary spiritual advisors to the imperial court. Often revered for their wisdom and connections to the divines, they oversaw all important ceremonies.
Her parents were devout worshipers of Izanagi and Izanami, praying for a miracle child under the celestial constellations and their wishes were answered in the form of Kaguya. Kaguya emerged from her mothers womb. Though loved dearly, she was always different, and it became apparent that her birth was not a blessing of lineage but a divine intervention. As a young child she was blessed with curiosity beyond her imagination.
HER ROLE
Kaguya was sent by the gods to deliver three sacred artifacts to humanity: the mirror, the jewel, and the sword. Only the mirror would appear and would only be of use in Kaguya hands. Each item was symbolic; the mirror reflected truth and destiny, the jewel contained spiritual balance, and the sword to execute divine will. She descended not as a ruler but as a guide, meant to observe and subtly shape the course of humanity. She was their gift for their worship but she was also their test to truly see how they value their humanity.
Kaguya offered her gift freely, allowing the mirror to reveal threads of fate. Teaching humans how to avoid destruction, ego, and corruption. But as humanity’s desire for knowledge deepened, they bang using the mirror for selfish ends. Trying to manipulate destiny, seeking vengeance, chasing immortality. With each abuse of the mirror power, a piece of the users essence was drawn into it, slowly feeding on Kaguya emotions turning her hollow.
As the mirror consumed the sins of others, Kaguya began to change. Her heart grew heavy, her emotions unraveled and hollowed, and eventually her soul began to fracture. With every emotion she lost a tail beast would emerge, embodying her suppressed rage, pain, sorrow, and love.
HER CHARACTER
Kaguya was once a loving girl brimming with curiosity, she adorn humanity and all it had to offer unaware of the role she would play. Due to the mirror, Kaguya no longer has the ability to lie. She essentially becomes one with the mirror she can only share the truth and knowledge. Kaguya is a victim of human desire and patriarchal oppression crafted by humanity. Kaguya is neither a tyrant nor an invader.
Kaguya is a daughter and a mother brimming with anger for the roll faith and the gods had placed her in. Her soul is consumed with burden she’s forced to bare, even her enemies are often shaped by the chaos born of her unraveling. She is both a victim and catalyst, worshiped and feared, forgotten and omnipresent.
ABILITIES
Chakra Absorption & All-Killing Ash Bones
Dimensional Shifting – Could instantly move between various pocket dimensions.
Byakugan and Rinne Sharingan – Including powerful visual abilities like expansive perception and dimensional travel.
Creation of the Ten-Tails & the White Zetsu Army – Her body became the Ten-Tails; Zetsu were formed from her will to resurrect her.
Mirror of Fate (Yata no Kagami): Allows her to see and predict enemy movements before it occurs
Voice of Root: Due to her connection with the tail beats she is able to communicate with the host and inhabit their psychic, although she’s never shown interest in communicating with them until Naruto
Majority of her abilities remain the same with an additional two centered around the mirror and her connections with the tail beast.
APPEARANCE
Young Kaguya, before the mirror’s influence, had long black hair, soft brown or gray eyes, and a warmth in her expression. She dressed simply, reflecting her humble upbringing, but her aura was unshakably divine — a child too wise for her age, too gentle for the world.
Post-transformation, as the mirror fed on her and humanity’s darkness grew, Kaguya’s appearance changed drastically. Her hair turned pale white, her eyes hollowed and widened, and a third eye opened on her forehead, symbolizing her full attunement to fate. Her skin became snow-white, and horns began to form, not as a sign of power, but as twisted remnants of the divine she could no longer control. Her kimono was replaced by celestial robes — ever-shifting with energy and memory. Her voice became distant, echoing through dimensions like a mourning chant.
LEGACY
Kaguya’s transformation didn't just affect herself — it altered the course of the Ōtsutsuki clan forever. When the clan heads made their wish upon her, they were unknowingly tied to her fate. Every change she endured — from white hair to horns to chakra immortality — became embedded in their bloodline. The clan’s rise to power was not their own doing; it was borrowed divinity stolen from a grieving child turned goddess.
As a result, the celestial power the Ōtsutsuki wield is not their heritage — it’s a living curse, a mutation derived from Kaguya’s suffering. She is their god, but also their prison. Her liberation is their unraveling.
Connection to Naruto
Due to her being the creator of the tail beast as they emerged due to her emotions, she’s able to watch over the jinchuriki host. Naruto caught her eye due to his rejecting the treatment he experienced due to harboring her anger, Kurama. His acceptance of Kurama is essentially his acceptance of her anger and hatred. Kaguya saw Naruto began to see him as her son, because the mirror had fed on her emotions, she could not raise her sons well, especially Hagoromo.
A Mother’s Regret
As Kaguya watched Naruto, she longed for what she could never have: a chance to love, to guide, to be a mother. But it was too late for her. She was a god—powerful, eternal, but empty. She had lost herself in the mirror’s reflection, and now all she could do was watch as others repeated the same mistakes she had made.
Kaguya saw in Naruto the possibility of a different path—one that could break the cycle of hatred that had consumed her. She wished, if only, she had the chance to love and raise her son. But fate had other plans for her, and now, all that remained was the bitter knowledge that she had become what she had feared the most.
======================================
This is just a small tidbit of what i’ve crafted for Kaguya there’s more I could share but I’d need to map it out better and really section it all out. This is still a lil messy but I wanted to share my rewrite of Kaguya and how i’d make her into a more compelling tragic antagonist.
let me know what you guys think and i hope you enjoyed it.

Personally, I think Indra and Ashura would have worked if they had been mentioned, as happened with Hagoromo, for example. The Uchiha clan could have some sort of scroll or shrine dedicated to him, same with the Senju. Then, at the point when Hagoromo says they are his sons and relates this to the rivalry of the two clans, etc. Personally, I felt that, as with Kaguya, an idea with a lot of potential was wasted. He put it in at the last minute, if he already had the idea, he should have given hints.I'm the anonymous one with the question about why the Dragon Ball aliens work and the Otsutsuki's do not. Simply put, they should have hinted that the abilities of the clans descended from them go beyond what an ordinary human might have. I remain dissatisfied.😔😔
Hi anon !
They would have, yes.
They add to the lore of the clans, and it's always interesting. But like you said, there was a better way to introduce them. Kishimoto developed the Uchiha clan much more than the Senju and the Uzumaki. While I appreciate how he expanded on the Uchiha, I would have liked to see more about the other clans. Introducing Ashura and Indra sooner, as you mentioned, could have been a way to do that.
I think I already made a post about Kaguya; if you check my hashtags, you should be able to find it. To me, her design is okay, and her techniques are powerful enough. I just don't like the alien aspect and the fact that she was introduced late. I think she could have been connected to the moon easily. I'm fond of the movie "The Tale of the Princess Kaguya" (if you know about it ?). The thing is, after Kaguya, we got Toneri (the blandest antagonist ever), followed by Momoshiki and Isshiki, among others. And from the group, I honestly prefer Kaguya. She was more nuanced than the others... and it says a lot.

Things in the last that made no sense
Naruto- realised he loved Hinata just by seeing her memories, I mean that doesn't make sense, because it was so obvious he loved Sakura not that I could blame him, she's awesome.
Sakura- she knew Naruto loved her, romantically, but she said it was because of his rivalry, sakura knows what romantic love is.
Hinata - getting the hamura charak made no sense, she lost every battle she tried her hardest in, yet, she gotten a power-up , but it wasn't like Team 7 her was just temporary, her power-up was just given to her, she didn't work for it, I mean she worked hard to get strong but it's just so random how she given a charak out of nowhere.
Hinata being the heroine - make no sense, we didn't see much of her since she was a side character, and out of nowhere she's a heroin in a movie. It's did not feel right.
The kiss scene - the kiss was romantic, but at the same time naruhina kiss was at the worst timings, they just saved hanabi, bunch of eye balls were falling and two thought it was a perfect time to make out, I mean, surly it could have waited and time was at the essence.
Hanabi - Hanabi is said to have the purest byuakgan, but we barely saw her .
Sasuke- getting 1 second of screen time, it's not like he's isn't a part of the main cast or anything, yet he was barely there.
Ino, Choji, kiba, shino, tenten and lee-baerly there, wouldn't it make sense for kiba and Shino to be on the rescue mission since they have sensory skills and looking for people is their thing, Choji and Ino, Lee like sasuke had a moment of screen time. Tenten, we gotten a design of her for the movie yet she's forgotten yet again.
The love triangle - Naruto and Tonri fighting over Hinata, felt weird, BC toner had a goal to wipe out humanity, but instead ended up in a fight for Hinata,
Naruto fight with him was good, but wasn't the best, it felt like he was a bit weaker and only got strong because of power of love. I mean he and team 7 beat Kaguya a god, but struggled against an alien... if team 7 was there, they would not struggle.
Team 7- winning the war, and yet, it felt they were nerf to make Hinata seem strong and for the new Sanin they got the side character treatment.
Hisashi- I kinda wanted to see him fight, since he was trying to protect his daughters. He may be a strict military dad, but he still cares for his kids, to point he almost died for them and he wasn't abusive like the Hinata fandom made him out to be. Just, they were in a time of war and their no time to be coddle and he protected Hinata many times not just because she's the heir. He was disappointed in her for losing to hanabi 5 year younger. Calling her a loser. And saying that the hyuga had no use to for her, was the worst thing to say . But he made it . The manga show him training her not abusing her.
Hinata past- she was bullied and Naruto saved her, but manga, she was given a carefree childhood thank you her friends and family. and not bullied.
I'm going to say, the problem with the movie was mostly BC, Hinata was the heroine which was a bad call. And it made her a damsel in distress. We were robbed of seeing how strong the hyuga clan was, we were robbed of seeing the new Sanin and the romance was so rushed. It was said that neji died so naruhina can happen, yet, he wasn't even mention, only time we saw him was his ghost at the last ep. So Neji dying for Naruto and Hinata was the pointless .
Honestly I wanted to see team 7 team up again, after all the things they went through and all.
___
Also, if himawari could save inojin who impaled just like Neji was, then how on earth was Naruto was unable to save neji.
This is either bad writing or the next gen are getting stronger.also, I was hoping himawari would not be a jinjiuriki. I don't miss that she is.

Toneri and Karin are a Lot better than Sakura. While both had unhealthy obsessions with their love interests, they eventually got over it and let their partners go for their happiness. Most of their actions were driven by their tragic backstories and isolation. I'm surprised people hate Toneri and Karin with a burning passion but still love villains like Madara and Obito. Sakura on the other hand is a complete psychopath who continued chasing after a guy who had rejected her multiple times. She never tried to understand his happiness. She only cared about herself. She had a normal childhood and loving parents and wanted to abandon them for a boy who couldn't give two shits about her.
Exactly and if Karin were as nasty as Sakura I’m sure she would’ve taken advantage of Saradas birth and killed both of them but instead she treats Sakura like a friend while Sakura tapes her picture over Karin’s and doesn’t tell Sarada anything about where her glasses come from. And no one can say “Sakura doesn’t want Sarada associated with Orochimaru”, ITS AN OPEN SECRET THAT HER TEAM MATE IS OROCHIMARU’S SON????? As if he couldn’t take advantage of THAT bond and trap Sarada somehow especially if there’s potential they’d get together.
And you’re right about Toneri. I mean he did get his ass beat but most guys need that to change their minds anyway. In some ways Sakura acts just as masculine as Toneri with her feelings and at the very least, he provided Hinata with a whole castle and servants, Sakura is pretty much broke because her parents weren’t even ninjas or head of their clan. Makes me feel even worse for Sasuke that he had a BROKE BITCH chasing after him while Hinata had a whole prince.

If in an alternate timeline you had the power of hindsight and to decide when exactly the Naruto series ends…
This one’s kind of a weird one, so please ask for clarification if you need it.

so it seems sns shippers are still spreading this misinformation no kishimoto never said that in fact three was whole interview of kishimoto stating that. Naruto and Sasuke relationship based of the one he has with his twin brother naruto himself has referred to Sasuke as his brother multiple times they have the souls of two brothers with in them not just Chakra confirmed by naruto databook 4

the reason naruto and Sasuk never ended up together is simple the so called coding you claim doesn't exist
Its simply you who has convinced yourself that your Romantic headcannon is officialy canon
Kishimoto has had naruto refer to Sasuke has his brother since naruto part 1 he had naruto tell itachi he was more of a brother to Sasuke than himself has naruto tell sarada that family isn't just blood related while flashbacking himself saving Sasuke in naruto gaiden and then proceeded to make them the reincarnates of actual brothers
Kishimoto never intended for naruto and Sasuke relationship to be interepted as romantic accept that fact

You forgot about Indra. You cannot look up his art without coming across sakura stans shipping him with her or making his wife look like her XD Btw I think Madara might not be into girls at all but even if he was he would never glance at Sakura. XD
Hi, I saw that they also ship Sakura with Indra which also gives me the same reaction as yours. The situation is the same just like with Uchiha boys, Indra would not even notice her. From Indra's line comes Uchiha clan which values power and skills. It was stated that Indra valued power as the most important thing. That is why he was angry with his father for choosing weaker Ashura over him. He started conflict with his younger brother because of this. Ashura was stronger than Sakura could ever be but Indra still wanted to fight him. He considered him not worthy because of his lack of skills so if his brother was not enough in his eyes then such a weak woman like Sakura would be even more pathetic.

When it comes to making Indra's wife looking like Sakura it just shows how they copy Narusasu dynamic. Naruto and Sasuke are incarnations of Indra and Ashura, The Sun and The Moon. They will always find each other in every lifetime. They want Sakura to also be incarnation of Indra's wife but right now with Sasuke. They do not have any romantic canon material so they cope with their ship in such way. They deep down just wish to have as many material as Sasunaru has because the trope with incarnation, being the Sun to The Moon is romantic in nature. They know this and ultimately they envy it and copy it. Indra's wife probably had black hair considering that almost every member of Uchiha clan have them even during times of Madara. Black hair will almost always dominate brown hair of Indra's.

Lastly, I just think that Madara did not care about women at all. He considered them weak and in turn ugly. He was attracted to power and he probably knew that women cannot achieve such great power like him or Hashirama. Tsunade is strong but he considered her weak and he compared her to Hashirama. He also compared many other characters to him during the war. Simply, there was no woman worthy for him to marry and ultimately it was not his priority. I also do not think that he would want a woman on the same level of power as him or stronger. It would rip his ego apart that is why even if Hashirama was a woman it would not end well. He would be jealous and angry. It just seems that Madara was only attracted to one man and it was Hashirama. I can even say that to some degree he was obsessed with him.

I would love to read your take of Indra. Do you think Hagoromo was scared of him (saw too much of Kaguya in him, maybe) and that's why Indra went down that path? You know, get treated like a monster and you eventually become one?
That's a really good question and honestly, I think he did fear him but I also feel there's some nuance here that'll be hard to articulate but it's not in Hagoromo’s favor.
Okay, like I said I definitely agree that Hagoromo feared his eldest son, as he inherited his chakra gene and potency, as well as the Sharingan, which his mother all possessed, and Hagoromo did fear his mother with every fiber of his being. It's like when the his differences between his sons became apparent and as they grew and matured he essentially projected his own fears of Kaguya onto his eldest son, who did nothing wrong, that's set in stone. However, think there's a bit more here as to why Indra turned on his father, firstly as a minor aside Black Zetsu admitted that Indra was the first one to be manipulated, however, while the anime shows him directly speaking to him, in the manga he did this through the tablet Hagoromo left for Indra and his line. But in the grand-scheme of things Hagoromo himself is ultimately the one who screwed Indra over, with Zetsu's scheme's just solidifying everything.
Okay let me address the main reason why Indra turned on his father, Hagoromo passed over him and made Asura, the younger son, heir, all because he thought Asura believed in love and Indra, he thought didn't. Despite Indra, being the eldest and the most capable son, Hagoromo still saw it fit to choose the duller, less capable, younger son to inherit his legacy, while also relegating his older son to assisting him, and hoping said older son would accept that shit, and this understandably was the main reason why Indra lost his shit, well this and Hagoromo leaving him and his lineage with a rock with shitty writing on it, but you get the point. Now in East Asian societies, it's the son, specifically the eldest son, that carries on the family line, and when it comes to inheritance, the eldest son traditionally gets everything, down to the last penny while the rest usually get jackshit in return. The eldest son carries on the fathers legacy. Look at Madara and Hashirama, both of them were chosen by their fathers to be their heirs, instead of Izuna and Tobirama, because they were the eldest in their families, Itachi was initially chosen to be Fugaku's heir because he was the eldest child (Mikoto says as much to Sasuke in their conversation after Sasuke was made heir), however, when he proved to not have the clans best interests at heart Fugaku chose Sasuke, his younger son, to be heir, which is a very big deal. Now of course there are some exceptions here and there, but they're exceedingly rare, the Sasuke example could qualify as such. Also East Asian society centers on honor and shame.
When you take these into consideration, it's completely understandable why Indra would turn on his father, as he was supposed to be the one to inherit his fathers legacy, by birthright, by the standards, customs, and traditions, of their society, and because he was talented enough to earn it. Remember Indra inherited his fathers genetic powers was a genius, while Asura meanwhile was had everything handed to him on a silver platter. Indra by right was worthy of carrying his father's legacy

Better yet, it's not only understandable from Indra's perspective or Japan either, it's understandable on a human level, any firstborn in Indra's position would feel just as insulted, human history is loaded with these types of clashes, and they go on even today across all cultures and societies throughout the world.
Again, Hagoromo definitely feared Indra for possessing his genetic powers, which reminded him of his mother, but that fear alone didn't turn Indra away from him, it was the shame and dishonor he brought on him by choosing Asura over him and leaving him the stone tablet, while expecting to take that shit lying down is what fully drove Indra away. It was all this bullshit that caused Indra to rightfully lash out at his father and brother, and try to regain what was denied to him by force. Also I wouldn't even call Indra's path a dark one, nor would I consider him a monster, SP tries to make him out to be one despite Canon saying otherwise, but SP has always been full of shit so no surprise there, but I will his behavior is understandable and again rightful, as Hagoromo's shortsightedness and fears of his mother, royally screwed over his eldest son and line, but it also caused his younger son and his line to cause so much death and destruction to the world.

Honestly... I did not expect so many biblical references in Naruto... I was simply watching the anime and in the middle of this epic battle I am suddenly confronted with the story of Eve eating the damn apple in the garden of Eden?
I am not a theology student, so I don't know much about the theological value or theological interpretations... but I know about the philosophical implications in this story, especially from a feminist viewpoint. And really, I feel as if Kishimoto is trying to pull all possible strings here. As if he is begging for a deep feminist discussion of his writing.
And I am not even looking into the logic of this sudden reveal or how it fits into the established world that he had built up 'til this point. Or how he introduced this to the reader/viewer
