Vitamin C, or ascorbic acid, is a water-soluble vitamin that is well known for its role in supporting a healthy immune system. Did you know that your body cannot make vitamin C, so it must come from the foods you eat every day? Antiaging doctors in Greenwich CT suggests that vitamin C is essential for the growth and repair of tissue all over the body. Vitamin C can even help to heal your wounds as well as repair and maintain healthy bones, teeth, skin and cartilage. As an antioxidant, vitamin C fights free radicals in the body which may help prevent or delay certain cancers and heart disease and promote healthy aging. Vitamin C from foods also seems to reduce the risk of cartilage loss in those with osteoarthritis.
Now not amount of Vitamin C will keep you from catching a cold, but there is some evidence that high doses of vitamin C may decrease the length of cold symptoms by as much as one to one-and-a-half days for some people. However, some other studies did not find the same results, and actually found that there was a higher risk of side effects when high doses of vitamin C supplements were consumed. So it is important to check with your doctor or registered dietitian nutritionist at Peak Wellness before taking.
There are several sources of vitamin C that are abundant and extend past just consuming oranges or orange juice. There are actually many other fruits and vegetables that also supply this vital vitamin. Other sources of vitamin C include citrus fruits, tomatoes, potatoes, and strawberries, green and red bell peppers, broccoli, Brussels sprouts and kiwifruit, among others. You can either enjoy these foods raw or cooked, but it’s important to note that fruits and vegetables lose vitamin C when they are heated or if they are stored for long periods of time. To get the most nutrients, eat them as soon as possible after shopping. If you still want you vegetables cooked then consider steaming or microwaving them for short periods of time in order to limit the loss of nutrients.
Vegetarians may be especially interested to know that vitamin C helps the body to better absorb non-heme iron — the kind from plant foods such as beans, spinach and quinoa. To get this benefit, combine vitamin C-rich foods with iron-rich plant foods in the same meal. For example, combine black beans and salsa or create a flavorful spinach salad with strawberries and mandarin oranges.
At Peak Wellness we offer IV Drip Therapy in our IV Drip Lounge. This treatment has garnered impressive support and widespread use particularly among those that wish to support their immune function. Clients have been flocking to our IV clinics after hearing that IV vitamin C thwarted some of the untoward and potentially deadly effects of the corona virus. While by no means proven, IV vitamin C is believed by some to work in a chemo-therapeutic way by potentially killing off certain cancer cells. In the research, IV vitamin C has been claimed to possibly improve the prognosis in patients with certain viral infections and even support lower blood pressure. Peak Wellness offers vitamin C by IV administration, as well as a number of other micronutrients specifically shown to have a role in supporting a robust immune system.

There's something about how the costuming of Amy Pond (always in miniskirts/heeled boots even when the circumstances actively call against it, never getting to wear period wear except for once in Vampires of Venice for a one-scene disguise before immediately moving into a nightgown and once in a cutaway honeymoon monstage) is directly linked to the more sexist aspects of her storyline writing and that tie is most likely the interviews with Steven Moffatt where he admits to wanting to make Doctor Who "sexier." In this essay I will-

There’s something very funny about Doctor Who suggesting that tumblr will be outdated by 3, maybe 4 generations come 2049.

Something I've been thinking about if Reinette had come aboard the TARDIS in The Girl in the Fireplace; would she have replaced Rose as the Doctor's love interest or would the Doctor try to have his cake and eat it by having both Rose and Reinette on the go at the same time? Quite frankly, I don't either option would reflect too greatly on the Doctor, as romancing two women at the same time is a disgusting, misogynist thing to do, but then so is ditching someone you've been close to for some time for someone fancier. I don't know; the more I think about the Doctor's characterisation in that episode, the more I think Steven Moffat needs an education on what is and isn't acceptable when it comes to writing relationships. GITF certainly raises a lot of alarm flags about Moffat's attitude towards women. Anyone else got any thoughts on how having both Rose and Reinette in the TARDIS would've worked out?

I still fail to see why people still like HP not just cuz it’s “author” is a POS, but its just mediocre as a piece of fiction?
I outgrew it in fifth grade, cuz I found, like, twenty better things and my intelligence improved by so much.
I’ve gained more useful info reading Sapkowski’s Witcher and playing Dragon Age, watching Doctor Who and reading/watching Good Omens, then I ever did with HP.
Hell, I learned more reading TWILIGHT in tenth grade!
Trust me, stuff like Dragon Age and Doctor Who and Witcher and Good Omens (NOT THE NETFLIX WITCHER, FFS!) are far better for you than Hairy Pooper.

In my AU, idk about anyone else's, but in my AU, Donna dies when Stephen is just starting highschool. Eugene turns abusive afterwards, usually pretty drunk and just. not good.
When Stephen is an adult and acting as a parent to Peter... when he finds out Flash's real name is Eugene... Stephen flips. He knows the name doesn't matter, but it pisses him off that Peter is going through the same kind of bullying that he went through at Peter's age.
So anyways both Tony and Stephen (more Stephen) understand what Peter's going through and it breaks their hearts because they were in the exact same boat at Peter's age.

why i don't like amy pond: if we follow moffat's logic, guns are bad but domestic violence is ok (as long as the perpetrator is a sexy woman)
she cheated then called rory an idiot because he had doubts about their relationship (i mean... shocking?)
she's written as such a badass character but is literally always in need of saving/passed out in some man's strong arms
she has no compassion. she literally said "rory no offense to the others but could you let them die first" and it wasn't a fkn joke and even if it was, who tf says that in a situation where multiple people are gonna die to protect u and ur baby
she and river keep slapping their men for no fkn reason like it's funny (sorry but it's not. if it were the other way around people would make a scene)
she flirts with herself (all she's good at tbh) (i wouldn't have a problem with her flirting with herself if she had redeeming qualities of some consequence but. girl have you met yourself)
she's nothing more than a surrogate for the storyline, not a real character. things just happen to her because they do, and that would be ok if it was done like with donna. cause donna had a personality outside of hating and making everyone around her feel bad yk. but amy is just there, not likable, and on top of everything she usually doesn't really do anything (that's probably why my fave amy episode is the beast below cause it gave the false impression that she was nice and compassionate). she's just there bossing everyone around just to feel powerful i guess, but i can't find any explanation behind the fact that she needs to feel powerful other than she's a bitch
so yeah we had her for two and a half series and since there was nothing to her besides being mean for no reason, being sexualized and being in distress and that it was basically the same with river, i was kinda really fkn bored
she told rory leaving him (= throwing his arse out of the house and keeping it for herself because apparently adoption is not a thing anymore and having children is obviously the only real reason people fall in love and get together) was harder than him staying awake and dragging around an enormous box with her body inside for 2000 years all alone (and she didn't say it nicely, either, she guilt-tripped her way through this conversation)
she also couldn't understand why rory thought she was confessing her love for the doctor at the beginning of series 6 after she'd 1. cheated on him 2. thought he was gay their whole childhood (wow, is amy so self-absorbed she can't even see anything outside of her own reflection including the boy who keeps staring at her 24/7 wide-mouthed? that's actually record-breaking) 3. forgot about him (ik it's not her fault she forgot but she also didn't care how insecure rory felt about this or anything else) 4. keeps calling him names 5. ditched their wedding to go traveling with a near-stranger 6. flirts with the doctor in front of him 7. calls him and the doctor "my boys" like she owns the place (she doesn't) 8. i could go on but you get the point
she's generally selfish, arrogant, bratty, abusive, shows no lasting emotion (or psychological damage) to the things that happen to her, misdirects her anger, shows anger for no reason (wakes up and slaps rory because he asked her if she was ok - that's called abuse)
if i were the tardis i would have thrown her arse out in seconds

I also just kinda can't stand Clara with 12. She was *better* in the later episodes but still gets on my nerves IMMENSELY. And like I KNOW it's not Jenna Coleman's fault because she was great in Sandman, so I'm blaming Moffat.
