Well now that the 🍊is fr going in office I have decided to lock tf in and shift because I no longer wish to be apart of this HELLISH reality 🙁

I'm thoroughly convinced that we are in the worst timeline and I really don't wanna sit through this anymore 😞

I might permashift ngl (I probably won't but im considering it. Heavily) and honestly I kinda feel bad deciding to leave now when things got bad, like I have a obligation to go down with the ship. If you are a queer/trans kid/teen in a southern/red/conservative state or generally Trump supportive area: DO NOT TELL PEOPLE YOU DO NOT TRUST YOU ARE QUEER OR TRANS, STARTING RIGHT NOW

i’m serious. i’m worried for my own safety right now, but i’m honestly even more worried for our youth. tell as little people as possible and if you do tell someone, make sure you trust them with your life, because you might actually have to. do not let anyone manipulate you into telling them either. i don’t want to fear monger, but everything is really unpredictable right now and i want you kids to stay safe.

being out and proud and not caring what people think of my gender or sexuality is something that’s really important to me and an important part of our history, but for our survival, we need to keep our heads down and wait it out. trust me i know what it feels like to have to hide who you are and it sucks, but realistically this is the best thing to do at the moment

i don’t have a huge following, but if there is even a 1% chance that a single person sees this and stays safe because of it, then it’s worth posting.

I HATE TikTok, but this is absolutely disgusting and yet another breaching of the trust of America's citizens.

All the shit that has happened in the last few months makes me very hopeful that the people of this country turns themselves around and starts fucking shit up for the better.

hey since it's coming up again: no it's not a good thing that the government wants to ban tiktok. no you should not be glad that the government might ban tiktok. no you should not respond to this with "good riddance" or "hurry up I hate that app". I should not have to explain this to you but the government banning a social media app is still a bad thing even if you don't like the UI or booktok or having to say "unalive" or how you think it's killing the very notion of attention spans. It's still bad. It's bad.

Please note that I didn't write this post, I'm just sharing from another SM Account that's not on this platform. I don't know any Trump supporters, I cut ties with any that I had during his first term.

I agree with this post whole-heartedly. If you're confused as to why we (collectively) feel this way please read this, links are included to support the statements.

What you don't get, Trump supporters, is that our succumbing to frustration and shaking our heads, thinking of you as stupid, may very well be wrong and unhelpful, but it's also...hear me...charitable.

Reminder to EVERYONE that Trump pushed for it to get banned in the first place. If he *is* responsible for getting it unbanned, then he will be celebrated, which is so fucking disgusting. The blatant manipulation is revolting and the worst part is that if it goes through IT WILL WORK.

Even if it does work, TikTok won't be the same. It'll be just as bad as Facebook and Twitter.
