*actual* divisions within the USA, like the fact that Hawaii and Puerto Rico are occupied nations euphemistically called a "state" and "territory", or the reservation system for Native American nations, or the fact that most of the former Confederacy is still inhabited by the descendants of slaves living in impoverished segregated conditions, aren't really reflected on the map of the USA. hey thanks!! im so so glad u like her and im so grateful people like these characters living inside my head 😭 shes one of my oldest ocs and has changed a bunch of times. i think its really neat that characters change as the times change, they change styles and keep up with trends and grow up just as ppl grow up.

shes the lead vocalist of a band (i havent stuck with a name yet its crazy) with 3 other guys, my last art of her features her and their drummer alan! ill introduce u to the rest of them soon. maybe.

aj is a hot mess, shes reckless and carefree and doesnt give a shit about u or what u think. she can be a real asshole and will push people away in the meanest way possible. A SAD LESBIAN. she would keep feelings to herself until shes in front of a microphone, where she could be a genuine version of herself.

Merlin didn't know there were spells that could help the soil. If he did, he could have helped.

That's the downside of hiding his magic even in a land where it's not illegal for him to exist. There are probably lots of things he could do, if he knew how, but there's no way for him to learn.

Except for this, maybe, he thinks, watching intently as Morgana raises her hands and chants words of power into the air.

The ground warms beneath them, reaching towards her, responding to her magic with an edge of delight.

He wonders if she can feel it, or if that's another thing that makes him different even from people who are supposed to be like him.

Bruce being very adaptable and never complaining about any environment or quality of situation he’s in combined with him also being and insanely rich man who grew up with insane rich people things makes him so funny

This is one of my favorite things about him, truly. He's rich enough to be used to a life of luxury and that life sets him up to be ridiculously snobby about things the average person isn't, like high quality sheets and servants. And yet, he's the last person to complain if he has to sleep on a dirt floor for the night. If you only knew him as Batman, I don't think you'd be able to tell that he was that rich.

He's traveled the whole world in poverty, training and stealing and going hungry, so when he came back to Gotham and that life of luxury, I'm sure it was a bizarre juxtaposition. In many ways, I think it actually levels out or equalizes the relationship between him and Alfred, because he recognizes how out of place those services are, and they aren't wasted on him. He appreciates the turndown service and the stupid fluffy pillows and the valet driving him around because it is ridiculous, looking at it from his perspective post-training.

I think there's a few rich things Bruce is loath to give up, like having Alfred. Laundry, I'm sure, considering how much he goes through. But they're all things he can give up when the situation requires. Whenever the writers like to make him suddenly penniless in canon, people poke fun at him, but he handles the transition very well. Because he was already living like a soldier in many ways.
