mcyt artists get praise for making beautiful character designs out of ugly minecraft skins but i think animators and pmv makers need to also be praised for making very emotional works of art while using crunchy ass shitty stream audio

i gotta say that while i do love the callback to polites via open arms mention in odysseus when eurymachus is trying to talk his way out of being killed, my personal favorite parallel is at the start of that phrase, when he goes, "old king, forgive us instead" every single time i hear that line i just think of when odysseus tried to tell poseidon that Maybe He Could Learn To Forgive :) and then poseidon promptly drowned him
