Emmerdale confirms another shock death as major character is shot

Emmerdale dropped a tantalising trailer at New Year revealing a freshly dug grave and a body being dropped into the river. We may now have the answer to the identity of at least one of the victims.

The ITV soap has been banging out some huge storylines of late, and one of the biggest of the year is set to culminate in a blood bath as one local resident gets shot for heinous historical actions that catch up with him.

While we’re sure no one wishes evil on anyone, there will no doubt be relief at the knowledge that the victim is…Anthony.

Anthony Fox has been making viewers’ skin crawl as it unfolded that the sick father sexually abused Ruby Fox-Miligan  when she was just a teenager and has since been slowly tormenting her while living in her own home.

We learned that this was the horrifying and true reason Ruby packed Steph Miligan off to boarding school, which ultimately destroyed their relationship – she was saving her from what she went through.

Ruby was so distraught by this realisation that it led her to take a secret DNA test to determine the identity of Steph’s father and the shocking results were later revealed.

While the results remain secret from Steph, things have been turbulent between her parents after Caleb Miligan found the DNA test. So, Steph is shocked to see her parents absolutely fine with each other and acting as if nothing has happened after a fraught few days.

Anthony, meanwhile, having slept off a hangover on Laurel Thomas’ sofa, is left to tutor Angelica King unsupervised by an unwitting Nicola King.

Nicola chats casually about this arrangement in the café, but Chas Dingle overhears. Knowing what a monster he is, Chas can’t hold her tongue and she tells Nicola that Angel is not safe.

Never one for subtly, Nicola immediately bulldozes her way home and instructs Anthony to leave as he poses a threat to children.

Initially panicked, Anthony suddenly sees the red mist and he turns on Nicola. But before he can do her any damage Laurel arrives and whacks him over the head with a candlestick. He falls to the ground, unconscious.

He’s not dead quite yet, though Laurel believes he is.

Elsewhere, Cain Dingle finds Chas emotional in the pub’s back room. With no idea why, his mind races to his secret tryst being uncovered. He pushes Chas to tell him what she knows and is left whiter than Kim’s horse Ice when he learns of the truth about Ruby.

This is where things start to unravel for dear, sweet grandfather Anthony.

Aaron Dingle witnesses a strange interaction between Anthony and his daughter. Caleb pulls up and demands Anthony climb into his car. Steph is later perplexed when her beloved granddad doesn’t arrive for their meeting.

The High Rocks Trail along the Highland Scenic Highway offers an easy, 3 mile out-and-back hike featuring one of the best views in the Central Appalachians. Binibining Pilipina Palawan 2023 Regional Costume

Just like Pluning, a native Palaweña, who dreamt of having the love she always wanted, Binibini 6 - Angelica Danao Lopez resembles a perfect representation of a Palaweña dreamer.

Angelica's costume is a creative representation of her roots where she came from - the last ecological frontier, PALAWAN.

The main inspiration of Binibining Palawan's national costume is the rich marine life and majestic atoll reef of a UNESCO World Heritage Site, The Tubbataha Reefs.

The cave represents the only attraction in the country that is complete from mountain to sea ecosystem, the World Reckoned Seven Wonders of Nature, Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park.

The sequin embellishments adorned with faux sea weeds, topped with aquatic plants and orchestrated with beautifully made corals signify some of Palawan's riches.

Her bodysuit and accessories are made out of precious pearls and crystals to represent the wealthy resources that lie beneath the grounds of Palawan.

The complete ensemble that is innate and symbolic to its land and its people is thus now called "PERLAS NG PALAWAN".

I'd like to learn more about your ideas for meropis

SORRY FOR THE LATE REPLY I WANTED TO DRAW SOME DOODLES ABOUT SOME OF IT WITH UNDINA

Anyways here’s some quick ideas:

Meropolis has only one major city in the ocean which is home to the royal family: King Puff, Queen Angelica, and of course Princess Undina. The rest of the ocean is filled with smaller cities and towns scattered about. The best way I can describe it is tears of the kingdom and breath of the wild. Where it’s all under one kingdom with little “pit stop” towns (the horse stables) and medium sized cities (the towns/domains). They sort of rule fresh water areas but only if they connect to the ocean. If you live in a lake or pond that’s up to the mainland rulers.

Fish mobians tend to not really go on land much. Mostly because they don’t have legs and risk of drying out if they get lost or injured. You’ll only really see fish mobians out and about on land if you’re in a seaside town or a lake/river town. They do have water wheel chairs but they’re pretty bulky and sometimes not water proof. So they’ll have to rent one or in Undina’s case, get one custom made. For aquatic mammals such as dolphins, pinnipeds, whales etc. they can go back and forth between having legs and a mermaid like tail. They’re usually the ones who help fish mobians get to land and are even sometimes tour guides for them.

There isn’t a real currency in Meropolis, everything is mostly done by trading. They do technically have one in sand dollars but that’s mostly used for tourists who forget to bring items to trade and they aren’t worth anything on the main land (unless you really like sea shells). Thankfully fish mobians love shiny things like shells, hooks, jewels etc. and will happily take a fork off your hands for some fish made jewelry. And don’t worry about the teeth thing in the picture, a lot of fish tend to loose and regrow back their teeth in at least two weeks. It’s the equivalent of seeing a surfer dude with a shark tooth necklace around his neck it’s normal to them.

Most Meropolis buildings consist of either organic things like giant coral/shells or sunken ships and man made objects. It isn’t surprising that if a ship sinks and the owners of the ship try to retrieve it some fish mobians would try and bargain with the owners to let them keep it as a new home or shop. More high tech buildings in the cities have air pocket rooms so air breathing mobians can visit and even stay underwater comfortably. Air charms do exist so you can breath underwater but most land dwellers don’t find it comfortable to sleep and slowly float to the ceiling or have their hair and clothes constantly flowing about.

February is the snowiest time of year in the United States and thus comes this months name for the moon cycle. New Moon in Aquarius

The new snow moon is in Aquarius and the astrology for this lunar cycle really reflects the state of my country right now. Relating to my own chart there's a lot of messages around gaining community and communicating my own thoughts and ideas either through writing or talking. So keep your voices heard and stay true to your own beliefs this lunar cycle.

Planning

This lunar cycle I have switched to the Seasons of the Witch: Imbolc oracle deck, considering the holiday lands around the same time as my own holiday, groundhog day, and reflects a lot of the same themes. The card this time was Angelica, a plant I have familiarity with. Throughout my journal I really want to keep its themes of protection in mind. While I don't really fear much for myself at the moment, there are many people in my life who are being affected by wider politics and I feel it is my duty to make sure they, at the very least, have a safe space with me. I'll be looking into creating a safe community in general.

Snow

Snow is such an interesting phenomenon. Many people dread it's appearance. It's slick, creates ice when packed down, people forget how to drive. But it means something to the environment in which it normally falls. On a large scale, the snow fall helps regulate the earths temperature and fills rivers and other water reservoirs once it melts (which not only affects human water reserves but also the salmon run). In Europe and Asia, the cooling snow can shift when monsoon season starts. Snow also protects important organisms from the vast temperature changes that happen in the regions that it falls as well as protecting the soil from freezing and creating more runoff. You can read more about the impacts of snow on environment and people in my references below.

Magically snow is seen as cleansing, but it can also freeze us in place. There are many lessons to be taken from our snow days. February tends to be the snowiest in my area because there is a point when it becomes too cold to snow. February begins to warm up so now snow can fall more regularly until the spring thaw. There must be a balance between rest and activity.

The Ancestors

This new moon, I'll be looking for advice. While some of my ancestors may not have been the best in every aspect of their lives, there were still many who worked to create a more accepting country. I'll reach out to those who worked in state senate and those who worked in grass roots organizations to end slavery. Whether they were successful or not maybe they will have advice they learned along the way. How best to organize people, how to create community, and how to talk to people who make the rules. Normally I'll leave an offering to do with the lunar cycle, this time I'm thinking of scooping up some snow, letting it melt, and using it as the water I use to call upon them. Maybe I'll make some snow ice cream and share it.

There's a lot going on right now and there is more to come. Remember to balance rest with action, you don't have to do it all. This lunar cycle is going to be rough for many of us. Find people you can lean on and strength in those you care about. Play in the snow if you have some.

Michael: *hearing those words brought a more intense river flowing down his face. Never would a demon do such action for him no to him demons where nothing but love destroyers for taking the two things he loved but now he has a third and he wont let anything happen to her.* My sweatheart you are worthy...

*shelters her in his wings. shifting her closer while he chants a love prayer to her that begins healing her wounds with a golden glow of his warmth embrace*

Niiri: *slowly her blisters and burns begin closing, cracks slowly repairing itself in the process*

Michael: if your going to sing gods beloved song then stay close and dont let go of me...

Niiri: *smiles to him* i wont...*twiddles her thumbs* you know ive always loved the song silent night...can we perhaps sing that one?

Michael: *he gives ger a genuine gesture of a somewhat happy smile* for you dolly...how can i say no?. *Chuckles*

Niiri: and by the way...you have the most beautiful singing ive ever heard. No wonder god and your brother loved hearing them back then...

Michael: *ah the nostalgia...then blushes at her compliment* thank you my doll...and i hope one day Christmas will be a day ill look forward to once more...

Niiri: then let us pray and sing up to the sky already so your happiness can come to fruition!

Michael: *smiles* i bet your voice as honey and sweet as it already is sounds even more beautiful when you sing...ahhh, please sing for me...
