That would indeed be awesome. My first thought was that Melora would be the most competent of the siblings because of her better track record, but unless I’m mistaken, Amr and Loholt were pretty young when they died and never got much of a chance to prove themselves. It would be especially great and chaotic if instead of just having Bhalbhuaidh visit occasionally, they had a full-on exchange program with Alastrann’s court and, if you warp the timeline to its utmost, the Paladins. I would enjoy Bhalbhuaidh and Medoro confronting Bors and Roland and telling them off for being bigoted.
All the Canons, All at once
I am always thinking about the vast Arthurian Mythos and its various traditions and canons. All of them being mutually exclusive to each other...
...Aaaand I can't help but want to smash them together like playdough. Its my favorite past-time as of late.
Like, don't tell me no-one has ever amused themselves of the fact that the Celtic Gods like Gwyn ap Nudd and Manawydan just hanging out in Arthur's court with Palamedes, Dubricius, Galahad and Nasciens.
Or my very favorite concept of Guinevere being a giantess AND a sorceress while also being Morgan the fairy's ex-girlfriend Best-friend-turned-Arch-nemesis. Nevermind what this means for Lancelot, Arthur, Galehaut, Meleagant and the other abductors.
Or the various children that's been given to every character, including Palamedes, Merlin and Tristan. Even Freaking Lancelot and Guinevere have children together. They even have a grandson in Gargantua.
You could literally have your own next-gen version of the Round Table, led by Amr, Loholt and Melora. Staffed by: Guingalain, Ysaye, Lohengrin, Brisan, Bronsidel, Melehan, Munsolinos, Amren, Garanwyn, Kelemon, Andronia, Florismarte, Pantagruel, Vanoc, etc.
And then Dragon Knight Branor, (From Uther's Generation of Round Table Knights) shows up and kicks their asses.

The Chief Justice and the Worst Painter in Fontaine Chapter 3 Bonus Scenes
Summary: It was supposed to be your time to relax and get in touch with your (extremely) buried creative side...but then your boss showed up. A/N: Here are the promised bonus scenes~~ They are really not very long but i just wanted to write them for fun i wish i could pull for freminet but i have to save everything for neuvi 😭 i hope i somehow get him when i pull on neuvi's banner Now that I think about it I should make a masterpost for this fic
Chapter 1 || Chapter 2 || Chapter 3 (Bonus Scenes) || Chapter 4
Unexpected Run-In
After spending some time underwater, you could now confidently say that this was now your second-favorite place in the world, after your apartment, of course. Everything felt so peaceful and dream-like down here. Time seemed to progress at the pace of molasses.
I could stay down here forever, you thought. Perhaps you could take diving classes or hire a diver to escort you down here, though the idea of being separated from the water by a bulky suit didn't appeal to you very much. If only you had a Vision...
You much preferred this--swimming in the water as lightly and nimbly as a fish, with Neuvillette's strong, reassuring grip on your arm. The idea of asking him to take you on underwater trips was dismissed as quickly as you considered it. It just wouldn't be possible.
Neuvillette seemed to be enjoying himself as well, though he didn't look like it at first glance. He must have liked looking at the sea creatures as much as you did, since his eyes softened whenever you would pull him over to look at a Blubberbeast or an otter.
The same couldn't be said when the two of you ran into schools of those mechanical fish. He didn't seem to care for them very much, and although you thought they looked kind of cool, you couldn't say you didn't understand why Neuvillette felt the way he did. They stuck out like a sore thumb against the gentle blues and greens of the water.
Speaking of sore thumbs...
"Monsieur Neuvillette, what are those?" You pointed at two purple rays a short distance ahead of you. They were a different color from the other rays you'd seen. Was it just your imagination, or did they give off a menacing aura?
"Ah, those two are the Fairy Knight Twins, Angelica and Medoro. They're just as lively as the last time I saw them. How wonderful," Neuvillette said.
"Oh, they have names?" Pretty fancy titles for a couple of fish, you thought.
As if they read your mind, the two rays swam towards you two. You looked up at Neuvillette, but he didn't seem to have any intention of moving away. In fact, he was looking at the two rays, which were now opening their glowing blue mouths, like he was looking at long-missed pets.
You screamed and hid behind Neuvillette as two sharp arcs of light sliced towards you. Neuvillette simply dodged them with ease, not a hair out of place. To your horror, he was swimming closer to those things.
After much pleading and tugging on your part, he agreed to take you somewhere else.
You later decided that you weren't quite ready to go back underwater any time soon.
What Freminet Saw
As usual, Freminet was in his blue sanctuary, spending time with his silent friends, the Tidalga and the Romaritime Flowers. He knew this area like the back of his hand. The observatory here had long been unused. There was no need to worry about running into anyone else here.
That was what he thought...until he saw two figures.
Even the normally expressionless Freminet widened his eyes as he recognized one of the figures.
Is that...the Chief Justice?
His distinctive appearance was unmistakable. He was holding another person by their arm. Freminet didn't recognize them. They were diving without a suit on, but they didn't appear to be a Vision holder. It was probably thanks to the Chief Justice's powers.
Freminet watched as the other person excitedly pulled the Chief Justice along as they gazed at the underwater creatures and plants. Freminet remembered his first time diving and seeing this quiet, serene world. It made him somewhat nostalgic.
But putting that aside, this was a strange sight. The Chief Justice was known to not associate with humans very much, and yet here he was.
Freminet had only seen the Chief Justice a few times. Not in the opera house, but standing silently on the beach. Freminet had found him unreadable during those times, but now...even from here, he could sense a certain warmth and possibly...affection exuding from him in the way he looked at and held the other person.
Hmm...
Freminet wasn't good at reading people, and his only experience with romance was the stories in his fairytale books. But he could tell that this person, whoever they were, was important to the Chief Justice.
He watched as that person cooed in delight at a group of otters, then they seemed to tense up a bit before pulling themselves out of the Chief Justice's grip.
"Ah..." a soft cry slipped out of Freminet's mouth as he watched them fall towards the seabed. But it was the look on the Chief Justice's face that really shocked him. A look of pure panic. It looked so out of place there.
The Chief Justice quickly caught their companion. Freminet could hear them both apologizing to each other.
He decided to swim somewhere else. For some reason, he felt like he was intruding on a couple's private time together.

Arlecchino, Penguins, and Angels
This theory has a bit of everything.
Naming Parallels
Perinheri- the in-game book confirmed to be related to Arlecchino's past by her 5th character story
Peruere- her birth name
Pers- Freminet's pet penguin's namesake, readable as the in-game book Tales of a Snow-winged Goose. This is based on Mother Goose from our world, which has a harlequin variant. This book also includes a story about a "Princess Marcotte" who is clearly meant to be Clervie.
Le Père- the French word for father
Male penguins- that is to say, father penguins- famously go great lengths for their children.
Hleobranto Innamorato & Blade Runner
Hleobranto Innamorato is the other name for the book Perinheri, and seems to be based on our world's Orlando Innamorato and Orlando Furioso books. In volume two of Perinheri, we hear about Hleobrant and his unrequited love for Angelica, which parallels our Orlando books.
This is further corroborated by the local legend Fairy Knight Twins, Angelica and Medoro. In our Orlando, Medoro is the man Angelica ends up with. The achievement for defeating them is called "Tears in the Rain", a reference to the Blade Runner monologue that is repeated in Tales of a Snow-winged Goose with the line "from red giants to white dwarfs, from the shoulder of Orion to the glimmering Tannhauser Gate..."
The central theme of Blade Runner is the divide between the humans and the replicants, something paralleled in Perinheri and Tales of a Snow-winged Goose. In Perinheri, it says that the Crimson Moon dynasty existed before birds split into domestic and wild kindred, and Tales of a Snow-winged Goose says that seagulls split into two races; seagulls, which continue to fly; and auks, which would never take to the skies again. Clearly, the metaphor here is that humans have split into two races.
It wasn't until I watched this video that I began to understand what these parallels might mean for the overarching storyline. Crucially, the replicants are soldiers for an interstellar war designed so that humans don't have to fight.
Angels & Seelies
Tumblr media
This is Arlecchino's boss form. Typically, she has just half a wing, but here, she has six. I most frequently see this design being likened to the appearance of a spider (which would match visually with the Black Widow), but I see this has the six wings of a seraph. In Judaism, seraphim are angels associated with fire, constantly burning; seraph means both "burning" and "serpent".
I don't think it's a stretch at this point to say that Seelies are angels. In fact, there are measures to prevent Seelies from falling in love (and having offspring) with humans- why would this be? Perhaps to avoid creating a Nephil, as might happen according the Book of Enoch (which Genshin takes inspiration from). The Earth is understood in Jubilees and Enoch to have been flooded, inp part, for the sins of the Nephilim, which included drinking blood.
Kaeya & the Blessing of the Crimson Moon
Arlecchino can use the blessing of the Crimson Moon's blood, probably due to her lineage. The same goes for Kaeya, who, like Arlecchino, isn't effected by the "curse of wilderness" which Chlothar says turns all but pure-blooded Khaenri'ahns into monsters.
If you read the lore for Arlecchino's weapon, the Crimson Moon Semblance, you will understand the connection. The drinking of wine symbolises receiving the blood, and the blessing, of the Crimson Moon. How does this connect to Kaeya? Recall his father's letter from Hidden Strife. The Alberich clan are connected to the concept of purifying flame, the same concept as purgatory.
The Wagner Section
For me, every great Genshin Impact theory needs a reference to the operas of Wagner. In this case, it's the "Tannhauser gate" line in the Blade Runner monologue, a possible reference to Tannhäuser, the opera. It follows a bard of sorts and his infatuation with Venus and her underground realm "Venusberg". The evening star in our world is in fact not a star at all, but the planet Venus, and is associated with the fallen angel Lucifer (the demon to which the Ars Goetia's Paimon is obedient to). Khaenri'ah, the underground nation with its star motif, seems to reference Venusberg.

#13 - Tomorrow would alter the sense of what had already been learned.
M,
I’m writing to tell you I am surrendering to you and to your bigness, as vast as Ashbery’s gigantic plateau. When I got the news I felt like collapsing into an open sea–a creature so close to me that I could reach it within minutes. I felt like Ramona going to Bob to cry about misery and clouded thoughts that aren't real, but are the product of the imagery that reigns my vision of the world.
Oh, to be in the highlands of your mind. Oh, to be in the highlands of your locus amoenus.
I'm going down when you're going up. I am going deep into the waters of learning and understanding a reality that concerns me, because I am part of it. My being in it has resulted in a mindset that struggles to grasp the meaning of my place in this little box I live in. Unlike you, I am Ashbery's thought of being barely tolerated, having to be rescued on the brink of destruction with nary an Orlando to find me.
This story was written centuries ago: I am Orlando Furioso, and you are Angelica. You're at the part where you found Medoro, I am at the point of going furioso; yet we both live under the same flickering bulbs that hover up in the sky, and it is true that the being of my sentences, fostered in the climate I've conjured by the idea of you, is not yours to own, like Medoro, but to be without–alone and desperate.
"‘My thoughts’ he cried, ‘that freeze and burn my heart, and cause this pain that gnaws at me alway, what shall I do, who, at the very start, appeared too late, while others won the day?"
This is a tale that purports no epic battles, for I am a simple man with nothing but a lonely heart in search of love. This is a tale that seeks to be an oblation to your power, for some of us were born to be Orlandos, and some, like you, are destined to be Angelicas. This is an offering to your beauty, to your faulty candor, to your mesmerizing voice, to your hypnotizing gaze. May this be an altar for the spirits to let me sleep, free at last, so minuscule in your gigantic plateau; for this too has been my ambition: to be small and clear and free.
These have been the hazards of the tempest: you are the player and I, who has struggled at the game, was simply a spectator. So I think it is time for me to start my journey to the moon, for I am in need of my Elijah and his miracle elixir that can extract the stone of madness.
When did these misfortunes begin? Not that I want to know. All I want is silence, for myself and for the selves I used to be, a silence like the magical cottage in the forest that lost children find in fairy tales. What am I supposed to know of what is to become of me, in the absence of rhyme or reason?
"And you see, both of us were right, though nothing Has somehow come to nothing: the avatars Of our conforming to the rules and living Around the home have made—well, in a sense, “good citizens” of us, Brushing the teeth and all that, and learning to accept The charity of the hard moments as they are doled out, For this is action, this not being sure, this careless Preparing, sowing the seeds crooked in the furrow, Making ready to forget, and always coming back To the mooring of starting out, that day so long ago."

I wonder why some of the local legends of fontaine have medieval chanson names (yseut, the twins angelica and medoro) while others have irish folklore names (dobharcu, like the otter king dobhar-chú, and luachra, either from Liath Luachra or the Alp-luachra)
