I mean, Achilles threatens it after Patroclus’ death, so during his rage this could be accurate; but cannibalism to both Mycenaean and Homeric Greece was this horrible thing worse than anything else and one of the few things that was so unnatural that heroes weren’t supposed to do (when the Greeks defined heroism as doing thing superhuman or unnatural).

The reason for the Myrmidons being referenced to this is because they are the descendants of ants turned human, some of them still being the same ants that were turned human depending on the myth and therefore are inhuman in such a way that cannibalism wouldn’t that much of shock for them, even then the idea of them being cannibals isn’t accurate to either Homer or most myth… but Achilles isn’t a Myrmidon, he’s their king but he isn’t one, so that’s a mute point.

Achilles, for a majority of his life, isn’t likely to be a cannibal; and he only lives for a few days to a few weeks post Iliad and so his post-Patroclus self doesn’t last long enough to really be defined as a cannibal.

So… yeah, I don’t fuck with cannibal Achilles like you. I fuck with the fact that Achilles is arguably the greatest demi-god to not be deified (honestly, beating out some who do get deified tf Alexandros do?).

Danny was in Gotham because if he wanted to be an astronaut when he's officially out of the coffin, he needed schooling damn it. he also needed that for the "being the future king and ancient of space" thing so he's tired and drinking "death wish" coffee(he loves the name and it has the amount on caffeine that should hopefully work on his half dead ass)

he did not expect to get kidnapped by a frazzled secretary and forced to do ceo work but he rolled with it. if he's forced to do paperwork might as well do it well.

Tim is confused and would be sure he's hallucinating if not the fact that half his work for today was in fact done.

to be fair to Tam they did look at least similar not identical but that with the exhaustion black slightly longer hair and blue eyes(the he had some green in them and they were surprisingly bright for someone looking half dead)

There's at least one universe out there where Crocodile crosses paths with Robin pretty quickly after the Ohara Incident and takes her to Dragon. :3

DPxDC The Invisible Bat

I've been listening to Alone Again by Weathers on repeat lately, so this post is inspired by it.

Rumor on the street says there is a new Bat in the flock. Yet, there is no proof - no one has seen them, no one has heard them, no one knows if that's true or not.

But, the thing is, every once in a while, a fight with one of the Bats is... harder than expected. A second hit, heavier than the first one, is delivered to the same place Batman's fist landed. Another bullet comes from a different direction than where Red Hood was standing. A cold edge of a blade is pressed to the neck just seconds before Robin's katana does the same.

Over the next few weeks, the rumor grows. Until, one day, someone calls it Invisible Bat, and the name sticks. The unnamed presence that follows the vigilantes gets its recognition.

Meanwhile, the Bats have no idea to who or what is following them. All they've been able to learn about it so far is that the Invisible Bat doesn't like the attention, registers as a vague cold spot in thermovision, and escapes without a trace every time they acknowledge it.

A month of fruitless attempts to either capture on camera or befriend the Invisible Bat later, Damian suddenly stops in his tracks in the middle of the Cave, like he's just seen a ghost. Then, he leaves to find Tim in a rush.

Two days after that, Nightwing finally catches their new team member on film. The old camera he borrowed from Tim on Damian’s insistence shows a picture of a boy with white hair, wearing what looks like a hoodie and jeans, with eyes bright and green, like Lazarus Waters.

Is this Al Ghul Twins? Is this 'Danny escaped GIW and now helps the local vigilantes'? Is this some sort of amnesia prompt, where Danny only remembers his Protection Obsession? Is this de-aged prompt? Who knows.

I only wanted the irony of Gothamites calling Danny the 'Invisible Bat' while his first alias was 'Inviso-Bill'.

‼️: the house that Eddie showed Buck is an actual house located in Thousand Oaks and it is used for filming. It was used in AHS as Kit Walker’s house. (and maybe lone star.)
