i mention challengers in november 2024 and a collective groan floods the room

so i've been watching some random episodes of grian's hc 6 and so far this has happened:

villager grian decided to change profession and suddenly be a fisherman. which would mean nothing, but with grian's s10, i feel like that's now a Significant Foreshadowing /silly

grian has made his first little game. it involved a deathmatch of exploding other people to death via rocket-loaded crossbows and- get this- three lives

grian and scar didn't win, but they died so close to each other time-wise that grian wasn't sure who died first, and sort of merged their placement (grian died first in case you're wondering)

he said they should do something like that with more people and in a bigger area. mmhm

at a different occasion, grian threw scar off a high place and,

and when he then said through his giggles "oh i'm so- i'm sorry scar" i kid you not i had war flashbacks

when scar came back, he held a poppy

and he gave it to grian

i feel Very Normal about all of this.

Not to pat myself on the back (but totally patting myself on the back), I think this is the best scary Techno I've drawn to date.

I guess practice does in fact work, drawing a character for 3 going on 4 years does pay off XD

Despite being *incredibly* behind on Redacted videos I still have Redacted thoughts from time to time.

Today? David and Angel who regularly shower together.

Not in the sexual way (okay, maybe sometimes in the sexual way) but in a sweet, domestic way. Washing each other’s backs and just taking care of each other in such a simple way. Just to make sure they’re clean.

Angel in the throes of burnout from work, they /have/ to shower to feel clean and like a person but they can’t bring themself to do anything more than sit under the hot water and evaporate, and David who stands behind them and patiently does their annoyingly long hair-care routine, applying their face wash, and gently spraying them down when he’s done-

David, who’s a wreck after the summer solstice, having Angel gently wash away all the sweat and tension away from the day. They’re massaging shampoo into his scalp as he melts, pressing kisses into his temple and wiping the soap from his eyes as they wash it out.

But it’s not just when they need it most. It’s almost every night (unless someone’s away) sometimes it’s just a weeknight and Angel is chatting about their day, or a late Sunday when David’s pulled an almost-all-nighter and Angel is trying not to fall asleep between the warm water and David’s calming presence.

I’ve had a pretty long work week, so it was really nice when I got home last night and my @flameemperorzine was here (And two days early!!!)

This is my first zine (i didn’t even realize how popular zines were in fandom till i joined the one piece fandom) and im super happy&excited!! I gotta clear off some space on my shelf for it all to display it all more properly.

I’m also happy bc this is the first fanart print I’ve gotten with Koala on it 💕

It just keeps happening ok—

I think pretty much all of them are us exploring the idea of the same setting, but Grian and Scar don’t know each other beforehand. Grian coming straight from Evo or something and Scar from early Hermitcraft. Or one au au where they both grew up on this awful server.

There’s one we call the 3L hhau au because it involves Scar rescuing Grian in a very similar way to the normal au, and then Grian swearing his life to Scar in 3rd Life fashion. He feels like he has to give back somehow. And also maybe they both want an excuse to have company.

There’s one that leans more into instincts and such, the one where they possibly grew up on this server, and Grian tries to lowkey seduce Scar into giving him a mating mark— hoping that a claim from a vex means that vex will keep him safe.

And then one were playing with right now (for fun!) where Scar is already staying at the vex commune when he finds an injured Grian in the midst of a fight against some hunters.

It’s a lot of complications about Grian feeling like he owes Scar something for all of his kindness and Scar fumbling through developing a crush on this frankly gorgeous avian and feeling like he can’t express it in fear of Grian simply going along with it out of obligation.

It’s really just a lot of me and ange going “what if?” and then absolutely running with it LOL

THE SINGING ISNT PRETTY BECAUSE IT ALL HURTS AND THATS WHAT MAKES IT BEAUTIFUL, ITS FUCKING RAW. THE FACE THAT HIDES BEHIND THE MASK IS BEAUTIFUL WHILE THE MASK IS PRETTY. I DONT KNOW WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT ANYMORE, MIDWEST EMO MUSIC IS BETTER THAN HALF THE SHIT YOU HEAR ON THE RADIO
