I refuse to believe that even with Minerva as her patron god Mary had this outfit. Billy is an ugly outfit? Ok, he has Solomon and Zeus. But Mary? With the “Roman version” of Athena? I refuse. She at least has chiton mixed with armor, not that awful stuff. (She's better in the third picture thanks to the cape)And Black Adam is a savage, he's the absolute worst.

I also wanted to add an image of Isis because why not and I thought : if Black Adam becomes Billy and Mary's weird/cool uncle, she can become the awesome aunt. As if going shopping, give you the best advice. The one about whom you say "I want to be you when I grow up." (On the other hand, I don't know in what context Isis intervenes in the comics and I think it shows. But she seems really cool.)

The original art for a Whitman puzzle of The Secrets of Isis from 1977, based on the Filmation television show.
Several sources have identified Neal Adams as the artist of this piece. While I could be wrong, I believe the artist is actually frequent Adams collaborator Dick Giordano. The faces of the figures, especially the little boys, are pure Giordano.
And while some may suggest that this is Giordano inking over Adams' pencils (which he frequently did), figures in Giordano's work were usually stiffer (like Isis above), and not as loose and flowing like Adams.
Either way, it's a great piece of work. Makes me wish DC would do more with their version of the Isis character.

"Oh mighty Isis..."  ✨ 𖦹 ✨  Storyboarding project to reimagine the intro of the iconic (to me) 70′s Saturday morning show!
+ bonus design sheet! Joanna Cameron was a fantastic Andrea, but I wanted to reimagine the character as Adrianna. I based my redesign off of Egyptian actress Soad Hosny, and added a few details to Isis for practicality/historical accuracy.

While looking up faces for my characters, I used a number of randoes to actuals. New Profile Pic, the AI Art Generator has improved a lot of my story telling capabilities. Then they started to add features over the years… This is one of the best features they’ve added in a long time. Some of my favorite things in life are women, chicks, dames, broads, ladies, girls, females in general, imagination land, wings & fantasy. 🤙🏽

Isis when she appeared as a member of Freedom Force (along with Super-Samurai, Merlin, Sinbad and Hercules), part of Filmation's Tarzan and the Super 7 (1978) series.

'SCTV', ''Playboy'', May 5 1982 Clockwise from top: (one of my favs) Catherine O'Hara, Eugene Levy, Andrea Martin, Joe Flaherty, John Candy. On the TV: Dave Thomas (left) and Rick Moranis (right) Thomas and Moranis are seen in the tv as their characters of Bob and Doug McKenzie, hosts of the fictional show 'The Great White North'. They would go on to play these brothers in the 1983 movie 'Strange Brew'.
