Exterior View A- the first one shown, presumably the guest house, two-story, has a main body and then two wings(?), possibly comes forward at the sides or possibly is close to another building?, with a fountain out front, a large set of doors, two large windows to each side, and six matching windows on the second story

Exterior View B- the second shown, presumably the main house, three-story main section with four-story towers on either side, looks like it might have bridgelike structures arcing over to other towers on each side (supported by the fact that we go under one to get to View C), [have gone in on an art program, yes I take this seriously, and actually it looks like those structures might go passed the towers to whole other two-story buildings], no fountain, large set of doors, a wide bank of windows on the second story above the door, two large windows on each side of both the door and the bank of windows, three large windows on the third story

Exterior View C- third shown, the guest house according to Mike, two-story, sides cut off from view, no fountain, large set of doors, windows to each side of the door, three matching windows on the second story

Exterior View D- fourth shown, presumably the guest house, a closer shot but seemingly at least two-story, seems to continue on passed where we would have been able to see in View C, no fountain seen, small set of doors, the four windows are there but closer together, another different and larger window can be seen on the left wing of the building(?)

If you've ever wondered 'Achi, what sort of shit drives that odd little mind of yours mad?' it's this. Because 1) probably somebody just couldn't be bothered to maintain any sort of consistency, like I know this shit is hard but one of these is straight a case of making more work for yourself. 2) The fuck is going on with this estate? What, is it Rose Red?

Just, listen. Listen. When you're writing, one of the problems you can run into is visualizing the space. It's part of why I have stuff like that brief little series I did looking at characters' bedrooms and Kevin's apartment in OV. It helps to maintain consistency if you have some idea of this is here and that is there and this is what Character A is seeing at this point. And you know what makes that rough? When you look at what the work gives you, and can't even figure out the basic shape of the building.

And like, okay. We can maybe try to go 'oh View D is a side door or a back door', but then why does Trini come to it when the other girl seems to have come to the front door? But then, if that's the front door, what door was Team Tennyson working with because the one they presumably started at didn't have a fountain in front of it. So was she coming in the back? And if so, still, why was Trini coming to what we can assume is a side door? We don't know! Or are they all the same door, in which case why the fuck did you lot make more work for yourselves with View D?!

Anyway. Long story short, something is wrong with me, the Morningstar's have too much money alongside possibly a much larger property than my earlier math supposed, and I repeat an earlier statement that Mike's seemingly being homeless following his arrest is probably better for him as a person than still living in this place, especially if like he said he's there alone.

They keep on ‘accidentally’ bumping into each other (hanging out) throughout the alliance plot when challenges aren’t happening

And it all wraps together because her final wish was to have Sakura reborn, and her final thought is that she hopes they receive many blessings in their new life, and the final image of Yuuko is the beginning of another Sakura's story. It's all so perfect and beautiful and I don't know how you top this.

And OF COURSE Yuuko smiles gently as she goes, and OF COURSE her last thought is happiness for someone else. And there's another layer in that for so much of her existence she was trapped unable to directly help the people she wanted to, because the cost would be too high. But here, in her final moment, she GETS to do something big and wonderful and meaningful for someone she cares about, and she GETS to wish for someone's happiness and not hold herself back at all.

Yuuko spends her final moments of existence wishing so deeply for other people's happiness that the horror of seeing her unmade isn't even the focus of what's happening on screen, and instead we just see the beauty that is Yuuko Ichihara finally able to do something.

I love when people complain about dangerous drivers because... there are some dangerous drivers out there! However, the solution isn't, like, a surveillance state. The solution can be found (in part) in actually investing in free public transportation and a variety of transportation. The fact that we often live in a very hostile world for pedestrians and non-motorists is a travesty, and helps contribute to the mess that is driving.

You don't need to ban certain people from being able to drive. You need to pressure your local and state governments to actually invest in trains, buses, trams, taxis, public bicycles, well-maintained sidewalks and trails, and whatever may be best for your community. Banning certain people from driving isn't going to effectively keep drivers safe.

i know i said i was happy about how mel's story went, but the more i think about it the less i'm sure about that. this is very much connected to how the themes of classism and wealth disappeared in s2, but mel in the beginning was the epitome of piltover. she wanted to advance piltover to prove herself to her mother. to "put piltover—" and by extension herself, "—on the map."

she wanted wealth just to have it. and i'm not blaming her for anything that happened, especially with hextech! she, just like jayce and viktor, could not have known what it would lead to. i mean yeah heimerdinger said so but who the hell listens to heimerdinger? but anyway i think mel changed throughout s1, much in thanks to jayce. by the end she's become more cognisant of the mistreatment of zaunites. she's the first to vote for their peace. she was a good person all along but now she knows how to act on it. it's also seen more in s2 act 1. when she covers her painting with gold, it's symbolic—she won't act according to what her mother might think. she won't let her desire for approval dictate her anymore.

so somehow i wish those themes were. continued, somehow? like again they were dropped not just with mel but the whole show and it makes her story a off to me. there's no meaningful commentary on war or classism or how her ideology stands opposite to her mother's. like some people have said, it feels like she doesn't have much agency, even if she is really cool. and that to me is a shame because agency felt like her thing. "to shape your own destiny" as she says to jayce in s1. i know her collaborating with the black rose (but not fully joining them) and learning magic is supposed to represent becoming independent from her mother, taking her own path, but some other aspects of her character were thrown away... the more i think about it the more i'm thinking they kind of #girlboss-ed her a little bit. maybe to sell another champion. i can't help but feel like even though i enjoyed seeing her on screen, the payoff didn't feel proportionally satisfying compared to her setup in s1.
