I was a kid (granted a very curious one) when George W. Bush was president and I very clearly remember how everyone thought he was a menace to world peace, a fanatic conservative who started a period of war and ignorance. What do you think Green Day was ranting against in American Idiot. Even down here in Argentina we knew what a menace he was, we knew he invaded Afghanistan and Iraq, everyone knew he did it for the oil and to control the Middle East. While watching the news with my family we wondered, and this wasn't crazy thoughts but the logical thinking after watching a madman invade two countries in the span of mere years, if Venezuela and so the whole of South America was next.

Then when Obama came everyone forgot about it (even many people here) and yankees were all like "support the troops" without even thinking why there any troops to support in Iraq in the first place. Trump came, had a mediocre presidency, and then people were like oh Bush was better, unironically. The man who has the blood of millions of people on his hands, who invaded and ruined two countries that are still under war and chaos. It's insane.

Also please let’s discuss the Other Tai of it all, because this is important to me. She isn’t evil. It’s incredibly important to understand she isn’t evil. She’s hungry. She’s hungry for all the things that kept Taissa alive in the woods. She IS the thing that kept Taissa alive in the woods, in her own way. She was the very essence of nature. She was dirt and trees and need. What kept Tai alive out there? Food. Meat. Van. What does Other Tai naturally gravitate toward, trying to steer Taissa toward the things she needs? Food. Meat. Van. That political career? Theater. That family polished to a shine? Facade. What really matters, when everything else is shorn away? Food. Meat. Van. Base impulse. First loves and full bellies. She isn’t evil. She’s trying to keep Tai fed and alive, as she always has. It just comes at such a terrible cost.

Stanley just, keeps tricking Bill. Because Bill would definitely massively underestimate Stanley and how far he’ll go to protect Ford (like in the actual show). We also know Stanley has the street smarts between the twins and could absolutely tell Bill is full of it.

And because Bill would absolutely loose his mind if he kept getting foiled by a snot nosed eight year old that isn’t even supposed to be here

None of Robotnik's degrees are in medicine. Why should he care about that? His interest in the human body ends with his own. That is, until one time when Stone got really hurt, and the Doctor could do nothing. He coped by... teaching himself everything there is to know about medicine! He's very normal like that. Never bothered getting a degree for that one though.

Dick watches as the newly proclaimed crime lord, Red Hood, storms off on his bike, without a care in the world. Logically speaking, Nightwing should try to chase after him — he was an awful headache to his family lately, wasn't he? — but he had no power to deal with this right now, not when it was useless anyway; Red Hood escaped Batman as if it was his hobby, there was no way Dick himself would succeed, especially while he is wounded.

'Stuck-up,' he still murmurs faintly.

'You hate him?'

Dick almost flinches. Almost, because he is already used to the ghost of his little brother appearing out of nowhere, in day and night. Even now, little Jason is sitting atop of someone's car, swinging his feet in the air mindlessly. He flashes his brother a smile once their eyes meet, and Dick mirrors it in the instant.

'Hate is a strong word, Little Wing.'

'Well, I hate geometry. That's not that complicated,' Dick snorts at that.

'Why does it matter, anyway?'

Little Jason hums mindfully. There is a hint of hesitation in his actions, before he admits:

'I like him.'

Dick blinks a few times.

'You like Red Hood? Why would you like Red Hood?'

This doesn't sound like something Jason would say, right?

...Then again, Dick knew very little about his brother, and these things he knew, he started to forget a long time ago. It would be probably easier, to keep these details in mind, if only he had someone to talk about it — someone, who knew Jason, too. But Bruce is stubborn in his grief, and Dick cannot speak about Jason with no one else but his own ghost.

'He protects Crime Alley people in the way they need it,' Jason insists firmly. 'So, I like him. Can you not hate him, too?'

This is so fucking strange. Why Dick's consciousness tries to reassure him to like that red asshole? Isn't that just... bizarre? Is he finally going insane?

'Uh,' Dick rubs the bridge of his nose. 'Listen—'

The comms crack faintly, catching his attention. Barbara asks about the status of the mission, and he reports it quickly before turning around again, to look at Jason once more and resume their conversation.

But the ghost is gone again.

And Dick is still puzzled.

Maybe he should go through Red Hood's case one more time?..

i love the (slightly cracky) premise that the newer batkids like duke who weren't around during jason's genuine "i hate the batfam" era would sometimes forget that it even happened so there'd be times where it would go:
