Palestine will only see peace when Isnotreal leaves their lands.
Hamas only existed 40 years after the nakba, Zionism already existed a century before the nakba happened.
If you support Palestine, then you have to know that there is no way for Palestine to coexist with Isnotreal, that Isnotreal will not stop in Palestine (as was shown in the recent news of Isnotreal bombing 3 places in Lebanon. Is there Hamas there too?), that the consequences caused by Hamas are not 1/3 of the consequences caused by Isnotreal (+3000 Palestinian children killed since October 7th, not counting the previous deaths).
Everything that is happening happens since the Zionists, with the aim of creating a Jewish state (after all, for Zionist Jews this would guarantee protection for the Jews of Europe and for non-Jewish Zionists it would have the advantage of not having to "deal with the Jews" more, and many Jews at the time rejected this whole idea as something very separatist) invaded Palestinian lands with the intention of taking those lands for themselves and expelling, even if only by force, the Palestinians who lived there.
Isnotreal was born and raised under pure colonialism, it has always been colonialism, and you can find this by searching the name Theodor Herzl and reading the articles posted by Decolonize Palestine.
#decolonize palestine#stand with palestine#palestine#isnotreal is a terrorist state#and they won't stop in palestine#like they bombed another country for free what do you think that means#“ah but HAMAS” there is no Hamas in Lebanon and look what happened#This is genocide and the last thing you have to do as someone who supports Palestine is support isnotreal in their actions against “hamas”#“hamas” in quotation marks because the number of civilians martyred since October 7th provides no justification for these actions

Remember during the 2016 elections, we were so scared of what Trump might do? How afraid we were for Roe but were told by so many people, pro-choice people even, that it was such settled law and it would be such a flashpoint, they'd never touch it. Don't overreact, you sound hysterical, this fearmongering is ruining your credibility. Hell, maybe worry for gay marriage, but abortion? No chance.
We watched Kavanaugh and ACB confirmed with increasing trepidation and STILL there was so much shock when the Dobbs leak happened.
Remember that feeling of knowing what was going to happen, because of your experience and knowledge, and nobody believing you till it was too late? And the very people who smugly shut you up pivoting and continuing to act like the authority, that, ah, yes, now was the time to worry?
This guy above represents the mainstream Western narrative since Israel killed the World Central Kitchen aid workers.
Somehow, after everything we've already seen, Israel was still getting the benefit of the doubt. After killing hundreds of aid workers already, mostly Palestinian, after killing more than 15,000 children, after killing multiple people waving white flags. After literally a scenario where a Red Crescent ambulance arranged safe passage with the IDF--just as this WCKitchen convoy had--to rescue a 6 year old child and ending up bombed.
Why didn't the world listen before? Israel didn't suddenly change, only perceptions have. They're the same now as they were three days ago, as they have been for the last months, years, decades. This wasn't an escalation, it was an inevitability.
Chef José Andrés, who runs the WCKitchen, and recently a vocal critic of Israel, was actually strongly defending them earlier. I saw someone call that Western naivety, but... is it simply being too naive, too trusting, when your good faith is only extended to one side? Isn't that just bias? Now Pelosi is signing a letter to stop weapon transfers to Russia when she was accusing protesters of being paid by Russia? Now, Western governments are saying this is too much?
I'll take any help we can get in stopping this onslaught, but these recent shifts came too late to save so many, including the WCKitchen workers. What changed for so many people now? We can't ignore why THIS was so many people's red line when tens of thousands of Palestinians weren't. Not only would it be an injustice to them but until this bias is interrogated how are we going to stop this or from repeating if the same wrong ass people are making the same decisions with the same worldview?
#just some of the rhetoric#israel#palestine#gaza#world central kitchen#us politics#free palestine#I've been wanting to gif more as part of these posts#it's still one of the best ways to help people take in info#and something I can do at least#and re: that first para: yeah trump again will be horrible#he's telling us#so I personally would try to stop that in ways that would work and not ways that won't work?

Another bit on the pro-Pal fandom, this one axiomatic
Being a good person is not the same thing as pretending as though you believe you are a good person.
Being a good person takes work. You have to do stuff. Doing stuff is hard. Doing good stuff is harder, because you have to put thought into determining what you think is good beforehand. That requires self-reflection, honesty, a willingness to challenge oneself, and taking in information from other people to verify that your concept of "good" is, well, good.
The nice part is that once you evaluate what is good and start doing good things, it becomes easier. You gain inner calm, peace, and even joy.
("Good" is not always the same as "necessary". Necessary work can be a slog, or it can be horrific. But there can still be a calming satisfaction at the core, the security that this is necessary and therefore worthwhile.)
Pretending to believe you are a good person takes less immediate work. You don't have to do anything that positively impacts the real world, and you don't have to do any of that annoying, time-consuming self examination. But in the long run, it's more exhausting. By far.
You are insecure about whether or not you are a good person. You're pretending to believe you are good. You can't feel secure in something you pretend to believe. That insecurity gnaws at you, especially when you engage in bad behavior--harassment, doxxing, posting gore, swarming tags, encouraging and promoting suicide among your fellow "activists", telling your opponents to kill themselves, stalking, spamming unrelated content with literal Nazi propaganda.
None of those are good things good people do. And you understand that. You would think someone was bad if they did those things to you. The cognitive dissonance between who you want to be and who you really are, as determined by your actions, is scary. It's painful. It rears up every time someone you have labeled a Zio colonizer scumbag asks you to please just stop and you remember a time when you begged someone--an abuser, a troll online, a 4channer, your parents--to just stop please just leave me alone.
That must feel terrifying, and again, it makes you insecure. It makes you question if you're doing the right thing.
So you do the work to pretend to believe you are good. And that's far more work than goes into being good.
You recruit others, and all of you agree that you will pretend together. Tabletop gaming has taught us how powerful this imaginative play can be. You all reassure each other that you are good and you are right. But since you're all lying to each other, that means you must spend more, and more, and more time every day telling each other that you are good, chasing that high, that feeling that you are a good person and your actions are justified.
You tell each other that your "opponents" in this "battle" are not people, so anything you say or do to and about them is okay. You look at lists of "dehumanizing tactics" and instead of internalizing what those lists are teaching you, you go: "Ah, so if I don't use the word 'vermin', anything I say should be fine!" And then you say it.
You do not smile over good news. You only smile when one of your opponents logs off Tumblr because you made the site unusable and unsafe for them. (The expression you make there isn't really a smile, but we'll call it that, since the corners of your mouth do turn upward.) You tell yourself you're just attacking Zionists and pretend you do not see how you're really going after Jews.
No self-examination; that would mean admitting that you're lying to yourself and others. Instead, you traumatize and exhaust yourself until you're psychologically incapable of self-examination. You watch snuff films. You stare at mangled bodies until you're weeping and physically ill (certainly, you're too ill to check whether the video is real, or if it was taken from this conflict).
You force your beliefs into your fandom spaces so that others, the bad people, cannot escape their complicity in genocide.
But more importantly, you do that so you can't escape.
You cannot engage in any fandom but the pro-Pal fandom because that takes imaginative energy away from your biggest pretense--that you're a good person.
You are NOT hurting people because you are striking a blow for Palestinians. You are hurting people, including yourself, because you do not want to do the work of becoming a good person. You are afraid that self examination, at this point, will reveal to you that you are exactly the sort of person you believe you are fighting.
That fear, that insecurity, that dread, that restless sense that if you ever rest or stop or think for just a moment, you'll discover something awful? That's your conscience.
I do not ask you to change your mind about your political opponents. Your defenses are already on your lips and in your mind; a thousand How Dare Yous for me hinting that you look at other people as people. What I will ask you is to consider this.
I came to young adulthood just as Bush was elected, and the Iraq War post-9/11 was the first war I really followed as an adult. I did what you're doing now. I forced myself to look at photographs of destroyed bodies. I looked at photographs of torture perpetrated by US soldiers. I blogged about it obsessively.
I told myself that I was Doing My Part to end the war. But really, it's that the anxiety of being an American during the war made me insecure over whether or not I was responsible for all of this, and therefore, a bad person. If I pretended my looking at snuff photos was activism, and that it was good, then I could pretend to believe I was good and shout "Not in my name" at protests. I could deny my responsibility.
What I really did was traumatize myself. It's been almost twenty years. I can still see some of those torture pictures in my head. In the end, that is the extent of the impact of my online activism. The blogs are all long deleted, and nobody remembers them.
Only my trauma remains.
I do not want this for you. I want you to be wiser. There is still time. You can stop.
Stop hurting yourself and other people. Do the hard work. Examine yourself and your actions. Consider what your own heart is trying to tell you whenever you start to get the shakes and your throat gets tight. Do not take that feeling out on random people online because they have a Magen David in their pfp.
Once you have done the hard work, it gets easier. You will be able to advocate and work for whatever causes you believe in because you know they are good, not because you're joining your friends in cosplaying goodness. You will still be traumatized, and you will still be sad, and you'll definitely still get angry. You will have to face how you've acted exactly like your own past abusers, and that's a real tough row to hoe.
But at the end, you will be able to advocate and work because you want to, instead of feeling as though you must in order to keep up the masquerade.
#free gaza#free palestine#palestine#politics as fandom#suicide#torture#trauma#worse than slacktivism#abuse#is-the-fire-real original#g-d damn it you've got to be kind#i understand you won't listen to this. it's okay if you don't#i may have addressed “you” but i was soothing my own conscience#because i think it's a good thing to tell people to stop harming themselves and others#and it's not my responsibility to change your behavior#it's yours#i'm also not addressing your antisemitic actions#not because you aren't doing that#but because that is between you and your dark night of the soul

As the US election closes in and the final states take to the polls, I want to remind people to turn out and protest.
Yep, protest. Strike, disrupt, be out there on the street regardless of who you voted for or who wins. I expect to see you all out there demanding; access to abortion nation wide, protections against discrimination, free universal healthcare, a free Palestine, anti war, prison abolition, to increase the minimum wage, and for a US free of the electoral college and that counts votes as votes.
Yes, you can say "you should vote for Harris" and do so as much as you like, but do not forget the power you have through your own everyday actions away from the polls and that of protesting. Do not use the excuse that your right to vote means it's somehow more foundational or important than the right to protest. You have the ability to create direct action and that is so so important, please don't just expect a rich representative to stick to their promises every time you vote; you have power too, never forget that.
This system will not change until we, the people, make it. There is NO representative that can ever change the system that allowed them in, and likewise; this system will never allow a candidate that would stop it from continuing and/or ensuring its designated purpose of oppression and subjugation. Resist, regardless of the results.
Long live the resistance.
#not to be a “far leftist extremist anarchist commie” but I'd even go far as to say let's tear down the US imperialist empire#I'd also go as “far” as to say land back to the nations that would make sure to grant all the above without the useless bureaucracy#but some of y'all might see handing sovereignty to the land councils elders and chiefs as “too far” but anyway#point is don't just think “all I can do is vote” because thats the minimum and in the us it has far less power than everywhere else#- due to the electorial college#like some of y'all's votes arent going to he counted and even if Harris gets a majoroty it could still be trump#don't place all your hopes on a corrupt voting system and a rigged electon believe in the people around you and protest#Eat the rich and make a better world#We can do better and we WILL create better with our own hands#Again (and I i can't believe I have to say this yo be heard) I'm not saying “don't vote blue” or whatever#I'm saying regardless of what you do there should still be protests and regardless of the result there should be protest#I'm saying this system won't change until you make it bevause there is NO representative you can vote for that will do that#usa#usa politics#us elections#kamala harris#donald trump#from the river to the sea palestine will be free#free palestine#resistance#long live the resistance#long live the intifada#protest#free gaza#palestine#politics#also this applies to Australia too our gov won't change until the system is torn down and replaced#I am holding you all and shaking you to go out there and do something for yourselves beyond picking one of the two rich overlords#“trump is dangerous” and “this entire system is inherently dangerous” are two things that coexist now get out there and start causing mayhem#and don't stop until the world changes

Nazi dumbfuck
baby's first hate anon!
but just for anyone confused, or maybe uneducated, the disdain for the state of Israel comes not from antisemitism, but from their unethical colonialism and genocide of Palestinian people. Many Jewish people have shown their support of palestine, it is not antisemitic to support Gaza. However, if one were to discriminate against jewish people because of what the state of Israel is doing in Gaza, that would be antisemitic.
#i won't respond to any more hate anons i jsut thought this would be a good opportunity to share this info#i know a lot of actual Nazis have used this conflict to spew hatred#which is not the point#the point in to free palestine#and stop the violence#and the murders#of innocent palestinians

some thoughts
I'm very aware some people think the strike fell flat during its last few steps, but it's good that we had SOME coordination rather than none. I hope that we can arrange this again, because our action towards Israel should hit it where it hurts - the organizations that support it
At the end of the day, you are fighting with your voices, with your wallet, with your protests, uplifting each-other and honoring the memory of the 26,000+ martyrs who were senselessly killed by the IOF, while also remaining steadfast to protect those who are still alive.
The fact that there are still Palestinians with hope should signal to us all that there is a light at the end of this tunnel. Freedom for all of Palestine. Freedom for all oppressed nations. For Sudan, for Congo, for Yemen, for the Uyghurs, and many more. And if nothing else, please document their memory like Palestinians would want you to.
I will share with you the poem written by the Palestinian poet Refaat Alareer, titled "If I Must Die". He wrote it before being killed by the Israeli army.
If I must die, you must live to tell my story to sell my things to buy a piece of cloth and some strings, (make it white with a long tail) so that a child, somewhere in Gaza while looking heaven in the eye awaiting his dad who left in a blaze— and bid no one farewell not even to his flesh not even to himself— sees the kite, my kite you made, flying up above and thinks for a moment an angel is there bringing back love If I must die let it bring hope let it be a tale
Thank you so far for sharing what I've been learning this past week, and cumulatively these past few months. I have hope for Palestine. I just hope that we can break the system so the bloodshed will stop soon enough.
Until then,
CEASEFIRE NOW! FREEDOM TO PALESTINE!
#global strike#global strike for palestine#free gaza#free palestine#long post#gaza#israel#palestine#from the river to the sea#antizionism#not dubposting#this is my second-to-last post on the subject#if things go well I won't have to post about it once more#but I think that we will need another strike to truly hit israel and stop this suffering#or at least a more adequate method of collective action#because netanyahu has shown no signs of stopping his barrage#and biden has shown no signs of ending his support#this message has been signed by an albanian from kosovo

250,000 people turned up in London for Palestine yesterday! Make the next demonstration on Saturday 9th March even bigger, please show up if you can.
If you're in the UK, email your MPs and urge them to support the potential motion for ceasefire in Gaza tabled for 21st February.
All you have to do is enter your postcode at the site will generate an email to your MP for you! Then autofill your information and it will send the email. It takes a few seconds. No ceasefire, no vote!
From the river to the sea 🇵🇸❤️
#I don't see the UK stuff mentioned here a lot and the next demo needs to be huge#previous demo was 200000 so 50000 more people came this time which is great!#but numbers have been as high as half a million before we need to do that again#please reblog even if you aren't from the uk they are influential in this. millions of pounds of uk made weapons are supplied to Israel#while other European countries are condemning Israel the uk government turns it back on Palestinians in favour of profit#the british people need to use their power and privilege to stop this#maybe this won't get a lot of notes but idk if one person showed up next time because they saw this post that would be amazing#for people outside the uk I'm sure you know about all the great calendars and resources#I will reblog some good resource posts after this#also I've never done alt text but it's in the alt text! I hope it's alright but let me know if it needs changing#palestine#free palestine#gaza#free gaza#uk#uk politics#ceasefire now#all eyes on rafah#fuck rishi sunak

Literally the path to victory was:
Pull all funding from Israel:
You wouldn't want to fund a police department who's response to a school shooter is to be outside and blasting inside until they run out of ammo, just to go in and pat themselves on the back for getting the One shooter, but everyone else is dead and the building unusable and it costed Far More than it would've to do the right thing.
Stimulus Checks with the money saved:
This is largely what got Dump reelected. Alongside the fact they didn't focus on Israel/palestine at all. Which dems easily could've done, by pulling our taxes from Israel.
Literally it was that easy. That fucking easy. But okay sure, pro-grenocide is cool. Now republicans get the Oil from Palestine and can lower gas prices like Biden/dems wanted. Congrats ya played yourselves.
#donald trump#kamala harris#democrats#us politics#israel#Palestine#Now you can say genocide is bad#because even at the most detached from humanity angle on this fucking situation#the obvious answer was always pull taxes.#Don't steal oil by aiding a genocide#because now nothing is going to stop R's from getting SOMETHING done in the first 2 years to ensure victory#from there there's no longer a point and the masks will be completely off#if you think it's off now? Ho boy wait til they're enabled again#Seriously be ready for these first 2 years to be economically soul crushing or appear to go well#but it won't last#they pump the economy with short-term bullshit that will cost us so much more in the long run#and they'll have every possible excuse imaginable#all their shit is goign to be the shortterm but the long term is their goal to dismantle#for a while prices might go lower but again. It won't last#your wages will drop significantly and your taxes will skyrocket#we just escaped his taxes I believe#they're coming back. If you thought the past 4 years were bIden you're wrong as hell. That was Dump. And we're fucked

See, this is what happens when you allow illegitimate terrorist states to do whatever they want, even if it is genocide and numerous war crimes. It's obvious that Isnotreal's actions will not stop in Palestine, so much so that they are already expanding, but only Isnotreal can invade and destroy countries, their lands and their people freely, because they know they will not face any punishment (after all, Palestine, Lebanon and Syria are not the northern countries).
I think it's past time for southern countries to come together to create their own Court of Justice, in fact. Just saying.

From AP News, June 20th, 2024.
I'm just going to leave this here.
Transcription under the cut:
“He runs the war as he wants, which means very slowly. He’s buying time,” said Gideon Rahat, a senior fellow at the Israeli Democracy Institute, a Jerusalem think thank, and chairman of the political science department at Jerusalem’s Hebrew University.
Rahat said Netanyahu is also keen to push on with the war in the hopes that former U.S. President Donald Trump returns to office, possibly giving Israel more leeway in its fight against Hamas.
“I don’t see any cease-fire that really comes close to being something he adopts,” Rahat said. “But he’s not the only one that controls reality.”
#US politics#Palestine#voting#look I hate this too but please stop pretending letting Trump win is going to change anything for the better#your hands won't be any cleaner
