Baking Dreams into Reality
It's our third day of celebrating Bonnie's birthday and the Bennett-Mikaelson family is back! Their family keeps growing and Bonnie loves them all very much. Klaus loves her too and that's why he spoils her each birthday. She's his wife and the mother of his children, so she deserves it. Read Part One, Part Two
Tumblr media
Bonnie let out a quiet sigh as she drank her morning tea at her kitchen table. Her thoughts drifted back to the place that used to be home. She missed her friends, Elena, Caroline, and Matt. The familiar woods of Mystic Falls, the late-night talks, and even the supernatural drama that used to come with being a part of that tight-knit group. It had been years since she left, after graduation, when Klaus had asked her to run away with him. She didn’t regret the decision—they had built a beautiful life together in New York, with their three children—but sometimes, like on her birthday, she couldn’t help but long for the people she had once been so close to.
Her gaze turned to Lila and Theo babbling softly together in their high chairs. The twins were barely a year old, yet they seemed to already have a quiet calm about them. Ava, the bright second grader, was full of energy and curiosity, and today was no exception. Bonnie could hear her talking to Klaus, no doubt already plotting something special for her birthday.
Klaus' smooth voice called out, “Bonnie, love, are you ready? We have a picnic waiting for you.”
Bonnie smiled faintly at the sound of his voice. He had changed her life in ways she could never have imagined, and yet sometimes, the ache of missing her old life still lingered.
“Ready as I'll ever be,” she called back, forcing a cheerful tone.
Minutes later, Klaus appeared in the doorway, holding Theo in one arm and Lila in the other. Ava stood beside him, bouncing on her heels with excitement.
“Happy birthday, Mama!” Ava said, her voice was bright. She handed Bonnie a small bouquet of wildflowers.
“Thank you, sweetie,” Bonnie said, her voice catching for a moment before she kissed Ava’s head.
“Everything’s ready,” Klaus said, his smile widening. “A little surprise picnic for you in the park."
The sun warmed their little picnic spot in Central Park and Bonnie felt an overwhelming sense of contentment. Ava was showing the twins magic tricks she learned from her mother and they giggled at their sister. Klaus watched with an amused smile as his children played. Bonnie took in the sight with a tiny grin. Suddenly, Klaus handed her a large envelope. "What's this about?"
Klaus's eyes sparkled with something mischievous. "A little birthday surprise for you, my love."
Bonnie carefully opened the envelope to find several sheets of detailed blueprints, diagrams, and sketches. She turned the papers over as she tried to make sense of them.
“Klaus, what is this?” she asked.
“Those are the plans for your bakery, Bonnie. The one you’ve always dreamed of."
Her heart skipped a beat as she processed his words. A bakery. She had dreamt of it for years, as a little girl, as a teenager, and even as an adult. But the idea of having one—of stepping away from the security of her job as a pastry chef at a popular restaurant—felt like a huge leap.
“I—I don’t know if I’m ready to walk away from my job, Klaus. It’s everything I’ve worked for,” Bonnie said, her voice uncertain.
Klaus laughed softly, the sound reassuring. “I don’t understand your need to work, Bonnie. But I do understand that you deserve to be your own boss. You've shown me how strong you are—balancing our family and your career. You've raised three kids, worked as a mother and a professional, all while pursuing your dreams. Let's make those dreams a reality.”
“I couldn’t have done it without you,” Bonnie breathed.
“What would you name it?” Klaus asked, his voice tender.
"I’ll name it after Grams. Sheila’s." She paused. "Grams did more for me than anyone else before you ever did, Klaus."
Klaus’s lips curled into loving smile. “She would be proud of you.”
Bonnie pulled Klaus close as she peppered his face with kisses. “Thank you, thank you!” she murmured between kisses.
"Anything for you, love."

❝ Healing Scars ❞ (Part 1)
——— A mark left by a traumatic event. Not all scars can be healed but it can be soothed to the point of acceptance.
I have this SUPER angsty Caleb x MC x Zayne backstory idea that’s been plaguing my mind and I’m cursing my inability to illustrate it so imma write about it
Please don’t kill me, I promise it ends with comfort
Tumblr media
⬩ Relationship: Caleb x Female!Reader x Zayne

On a summer cool afternoon, Caleb and MC were playing in the river and discovered a strange metal object. Neither of them knew what it was so Caleb agreed to go find Zayne (since he is a child prodigy and probably would know). In the meantime, you searched for any sticks to help dig out the metallic object.
Caleb locates Zayne seated on his porch reading his book. He practically had to drag Zayne off of his property since asking wasn’t going to convince him. Zayne wasn’t the type to exert a lot of energy so he wasn’t running back to the location like Caleb was.
If only he did.
Before his arrival, a huge explosion went off. That day was the first time Zayne ran with urgency.
It was a devastating sight to see. The thick black smoke slowly rises up into the air and the earth’s surface is deeply disturbed. Off to the side Caleb is unconscious but clearly injured. As for MC, she needed immediate medical attention.
. . .
When he was finally permitted, Zayne routinely visited the hospital. Each time he only brought two bouquets of flowers, but today he brought a jar full of origami stars and a portable console.
Making headway to the elevator, he went to the floor where Caleb was stationed. Caleb’s condition was recoverable, however it came at the cost of amputating his right arm. Unsurprisingly, this pushed him into a deep depression. Whenever Zayne visited, Caleb ignored his presence. Zayne knew his friend was trapped in his mind but refused to take that as a sign to give up on him.
He heads towards his usual sitting area: the wide window with a cushioned bench embedded in front of it. Setting down the items he brought with him, Zayne took the console out of his pocket and booted up a game.
The obnoxious “You are dead” sound cue repeatedly played throughout the hour of his stay. It has gotten to the point where Caleb groaned after hearing the sound again. Zayne, looking up from the console, stares at Caleb. “Is something wrong, Caleb? Do you need me to get a nurse?”
Caleb stayed still, refusing to respond back to him. However, there was a visible sign of annoyance on his face.
Zayne glancing back down on his console resumed playing the game. After the next death screen, he sighed in defeat. “I don’t understand how you can play these types of games. They are unnecessarily complex despite being advertised to us.”
Zayne hopped off the bench and walked around to the right side of Caleb’s bed. Pulling himself up, he sits closely so his friend doesn’t have to strain himself to see the screen.
Caleb glances over and his eyebrows furrowed deeper. “You only have to jump the gap.”
Zayne knew that.
“Really”, Zayne tilts his head. “Mind showing me how?”
What was a few minutes of instructing turned into an hour of collaborating to defeat the first boss. The dull look behind Caleb’s eyes was finally shining with determination and excitement.
That was the first time in 11 months Caleb has responded to Zayne.
An array of bright orange, pink and purple hues slowly began to blanket the sky. Dusk was Zayne’s least favorite time of day because it was a signal he needed to head back home.
Retrieving the bouquet of flowers and jar from the bench, Zayne headed towards the door.
“Hey, you left behind your *XYZ Deck!” Caleb called out after him.
(*This is a make believe handheld console)
Zayne briefly turns around and gives a small smile. “You can have it, consider it a gift from me.”
Joy was bubbling within Zayne as he exited the hospital room. He loved playing video games with you two but he lessened the amount of time after you complained about him always knowing what to do. Since then he preferred to observe but it was still a bad habit of his to call out the mistakes you and Caleb make.
Zayne enters the elevator and looks up to read the clock on the wall. He still had enough time to spare to make a short visit.
He presses the 11F button and stares down at the floor as the elevator quickly whisks by each floor.
Taking in a deep breath and letting it out, he exits the elevator after the ding. The smell of the hospital thickened on this floor and Zayne hated it. He once requested the staff to implement scented air fresheners to lighten up the atmosphere, but they politely declined his request, informing him that it was against their regulations
As his body auto-pilots to his destination, he stopped in front of a door and stood around for what felt like an eternity. He knew what he was going to see, yet each time he wished it was different.
He raises his hand to lightly knock on the wooden door. “I’m coming in.”

Day 2 @andersweek2025 - Tender Tuesday
Post DA2 Anders with Autumn Hawke.
A short bit of fluff from my Anders/Hawke family, set just after Hawke returns from Skyfold and the Adamant.
Autumn paused as the barn came into view, her heart thudding in her chest. This was where she had left Anders and Storm six weeks ago, buying their safety for a time with a heavy pouch of coin and a quiet plea for the farmer’s discretion. She could only hope they were still here. It wasn’t uncommon for their little family to move suddenly—to hide, to run.
Taking a deep breath, she pushed onward. Varric had promised to help them find somewhere safe. Somewhere permanent. The thought was a fragile hope she clung to as tightly as the secret she carried now.
"Heartbeats. Not just one, but two. Small, but strong. Growing. They don’t know yet, but they feel you. Safe, warm, waiting."
Cole’s cryptic words echoed in her mind, a strange comfort and a weight all at once.
"One listens, quiet, careful, like steps on wet stone. The other burns bright, golden, like a spark that won’t go out. They are not afraid. They know you will keep them safe."
Her hand brushed instinctively over her stomach, where the faintest curve had begun to show.
As she stepped into the barn, a small figure collided with her side. “Mummy!”
Storm’s arms wrapped tightly around her waist, his face lighting up with a smile that banished weeks of worry in an instant.
“Hey,” she murmured, kneeling to hug him close. “Did you miss me?”
“Did you have a good adventure?” he asked, his blue-green eyes wide with excitement. “Daddy said you’d bring back stories.”
Autumn smiled softly, brushing his unruly red hair from his face. “I did,” she promised, kissing his forehead. “But I need to talk to your father first. Do you know where he is?”
Storm nodded, pointing toward the field. “He’s fixing the fence for the farmer man.”
She ruffled his hair gently. “Stay close, alright? I’ll be back soon.”
With a nod, Storm bounded off toward a pile of hay bales. Autumn stood, adjusting her cloak and heading toward the field.
Anders stood with his back to her, his golden hair tied messily at the nape of his neck as he worked on the fence. The rhythmic clang of hammer against wood filled the air, but it faltered when she called his name.
“Anders.”
He froze mid-swing, the hammer slipping from his grasp as he turned. When their eyes met, relief washed over his face, followed by something deeper. He crossed the distance between them quickly, pulling her into his arms as if afraid she might vanish.
“You’re back,” he breathed, his voice thick with emotion.
“I’m back,” she murmured, holding him close as she could already feel his magic ghosting over her skin, looking, searching for injuries.
"I have news," she said quietly.
Anders pulled back slightly, his hands lingering on her arms as his amber eyes scanned her face. “News?”
Autumn hesitated for a heartbeat, rehearsed words tangling in her throat. Instead of speaking, she took his hand and guided it to her stomach. The faint curve was barely noticeable, but when his palm rested there, the warmth of his magic seemed to settle, searching, sensing.
His breath hitched. His eyes darted between her face and where his hand rested. “You’re…?”
“I’m pregnant,” she whispered, her voice steady but soft. She swallowed and added, “It’s twins.”
Anders froze, his entire body going still as if the weight of her words had rooted him to the earth. “Twins?” he repeated.
Autumn nodded, watching the storm of emotions play across his face—shock, fear, awe, and something else, something fragile and hopeful. His hand trembled against her stomach, his magic flickering faintly as if responding to his turmoil. "Varric promised to help. To find us somewhere safe. No more running. We can be a real family, Anders."
“I…” His voice cracked, and he shook his head, letting out a shaky breath. “I don’t know if I can do this again, Autumn. Storm… I was so scared I’d ruin him, and now—”
Her hands came up to cup his face, “You won’t,” she said firmly, her blue eyes meeting his, “You didn’t ruin Storm. Look at him, Anders. He’s happy. He’s strong. He adores you.” She smiled softly, brushing a stray lock of golden hair from his forehead. “And these two—they’ll adore you too. Just like I do.”

Tumblr media
The first time you saw Vi wasn’t at a pit fight.
No, it was at the club that was above the pit fighting arena. You and your small friend group would go often to said club, drinking to forget about the miserable lives you were living in Zaun. You saw her across the strobe-lit floor, weaving in between bodies with heavy feet dragging across the ground and a glass of who-knows-what in her bandaged hand.
Her oil black hair with matching eye makeup and wrapped chest that she wore as a shirt pulled you in.
You were… entranced by her.
But as soon as you had locked your eyes on her, your friend tapped your shoulder to hand you another drink for the night. When you looked back eagerly in hopes of finding her, she had disappeared in the sea of local Zaunites.
After that night, you never thought you would see the woman again. It was another night at the club when one of your friends informed you of the pit fight just a level down, asking if that was something you were down to go to.
Unfamiliar with the underground ring, you agreed to tag along. You were curious about what these pit fights entailed.
Your friend led you down a hidden passageway from behind the large bar area in the club, shouting to be careful with your steps. You nodded to show you heard her, glancing down at your heeled boot-covered feet to make sure you wouldn’t trip and bust your ass.
Rounding a few more corners, you were blinded by bright lights and a huge crowd. Before you could register where you were, your friend sped up her movements when she heard the cheering grow louder with excitement. You held up a hand to cover your sensitive eyes as you let her guide you to a seat.
As you peek through other sweaty bodies to see down into the round pit in the middle, you spot a familiar head of hair. Your eyes squint as you duck to try and get a better glimpse of that irritatingly attractive stranger. The large man in front of you, cursing at the fight below finally stepped to the side in frustration to leave his spot.
There circling her opponent with smudged black eye makeup and dried blood seeping in her bandages was that fleeting woman from that night. It was undeniably her.
Her movements were so similar to that night. There was no doubt in your mind that she was intoxicated. You couldn't blame her. Taking this many hits to the head had to mess with you.
“She’s so your type!” Your friend shouts over the crowd.
You watch her deliver a few more hard punches to her opponent, the body becoming unconscious and hitting the hard concrete ground. Her fist raises in the air to show her victory.
She absolutely was.
That night ignited a determination to get closer to the pit fighter in however many ways you could. You wondered what she sounded like, if she would flirt with you, and if she did, if you would seduce her into coming home with you to give her the time of her life.
Another week passed before you saw her again. Another club, another night to get fucking wasted and fuck some random girl. That is until you saw her sitting at the bar instead of messily dancing through the drunken bodies on the dance floor.
Her back was turned, her head slightly tilted down but you could tell it was her. She sported a heavy leather jacket with a hybrid wolf painted on the back of it.
You glance down at your own outfit, adjusting the way the top was fitting on your breasts. Your short-short’s hug your hips and plump thighs, the see-through fishnet tights underneath the shorts decorating your legs.
Before you walk over to her, you inform your friends of what you are going to accomplish: getting into the hot pit-fighters pants. They all wished you good luck and sent thumbs-ups before you went on your way.
Pushing your way through sweaty bodies, you find yourself sitting on the stool right next to her. You sneak a few glances at her hunched-over figure, admiring the slope of her nose and the smudged black makeup underneath her eyes.
Her long pointer finger was tracing the rim of the glass, the drink seeming to still be full. You wondered why she hadn’t drunk it yet.
“Is there something I can help you with?”
Her voice was softer than you were expecting. Her words were somewhat slurred, revealing her clear intoxication. Her harsh words threw you off your game for a split second but you brushed it off.
“I’m just looking to get a drink,” you reply slyly, not fully facing her just yet. “You need a new one?”
You motion to her full drink, tilting your body towards her now. Her eyes flicker to said cup then to your frame right next to her. Her eyebrows rose for a moment as she checked you out. She tried to be discreet but her eyes were slower paced than she thought they were.
You had to hold back a triumphant grin when they lingered on your chest the longest.
“I’m fine, thanks,” she told you as her fingers wrapped around the glass to lift it to her lips.
You watched as her throat bobbed as she downed the hard liquor, tilting your head to now check her out herself. After setting her glass back down, she pinched the bridge of her bandaged nose.
“Are you alright? You look pretty beaten up there,” you hum, a frown on your face as you lean in a little closer.
She shook her head to try and wave off the obvious pain that was settling in her head.
“‘M fine. Can take a few hits, dollface.”
You couldn't help the satisfied grin that spread onto your face at the pet name.
“Never said you couldn’t,” you shrug your shoulders.
The bartender walked over to you two, jerking his head to you as a silent question. You ask him for a singular shot of tequila, needing some more confidence to get to relax. Once he sets the shot down on the slightly sticky counter, you down it immediately with a soft sigh.
“I think those hits to the head made you not good at taking hints though.” You hum as you set the shot glass aside.
Her head turns at your words, the subtle raise of her eyebrows making you tilt your head as a challenge.
“If you want, I could help ease that ache you have in that pretty head,” you hum as your finger raises delicately to trace her wrapped arms, watching her fingers twitch. “My place is not too far from here.”
You can see the gears in her head turning, contemplating your offer. The flashing lights from behind the two of you only increase her pounding headache.
“Do I get a name, dollface?” She hums, now fully turning her body towards you.
You hold back the moan in your throat now seeing her up close like this. The torn skinny jeans clinging onto her thighs delectably and her broad shoulders that you would want to sink your teeth into. You even noticed the scar on her lip, making her all the more beautiful.
You lean into her ear to tell her your name, pulling away to peer into her light blue eyes.
“And yours?”
Her eyes flicker down to your lips for a moment before pouring into your own: “Vi.”
Tumblr media
The second your apartment door shut behind Vi, you practically shoved her into the small space to attack her hungrily. Vi released a soft noise at your lips attaching to hers, and her hands instantly found your waist.
Your hands slithered up the back of her head, fingers entangling with her oil-back hair. It was definitely dried out and damaged but hearing her moan soft against your lips as you tug at the strands made it an insignificant detail.
You pull away to ghost your mouth over her own, smirking to yourself at the way she tried to follow your addicting lips. That hair pull flipped a switch inside Vi, a shiver running down her spine.
“Ah, ah, ah,” you teasingly scold as you place a hand on her bandaged chest to keep her back. “So impatient, baby.”
Vi huffs out a flustered sigh at your words, her chest rising and falling rapidly. Her hands were tightened in fists resting on your hips. You lean in ever so slightly to graze your lips over hers, listening to her breathing stutter. You mischievously smile as her eyes flutter shut, preparing for another kiss.
Oh, you were going to have fun with her.
Taking her chances, Vi leans forward to ghost her lips over yours still. Her breathy whine makes your knees buckle.
“Can I taste you?”
You preen at the question, a lightbulb going off in your head. If you were right about the woman, she would do pretty much whatever you asked. You test that by raising your hand up to her bottom lip, using your thumb to tug down the plump skin.
Vi’s once harsh blue eyes soften, rounding with submission as you release her lip with a satisfied smirk. Your eyes flicker to your couch that is a few feet away, jerking your head over to it.
“How about you go and sit on the couch for me, yeah?” You nod, placing a feather-soft kiss on the tattoo of her name on her cheek.
Vi opens her mouth but shuts it when you raise your brows to challenge her to test it. She made her way over to the couch, keeping her eyes on you as she slowly sat down on the cushion. You follow her in pursuit, standing in front of her awaiting figure. You notice her knee bouncing with impatience, raising your hands to rest on her leather-covered shoulders.
Your couch was low enough so her head was right in front of the zipper of your shorts but her eyes were only focused on your face awaiting instruction. Your hand cups her face, rubbing your thumb over her chin. Vi lifts her chin to lean into your touch as a shaky breath leaves her lips.
“Can you take off my shorts for me?” You run your thumb over her bottom lip, a sweet smile plastered on your face.
Vi nods as she raises her bandaged arms to the button of your shorts, unhooking it from the loop. She tugs the zipper down to expose the waistband of your fishnet tights and black lace panties. Vi sucked in a deep breath at the sight, looking up at you for another instruction.
“Keep going, baby,” you chuckle as you shift your hips back and forth so she can tug the shorts down your legs.
You raise your feet a bit to kick off the shorts, pushing them aside on the ground. Vi’s lengthy fingers hooked on the holes of the fishnets, tugging your hips closer to her face to place a few kisses right underneath your belly button. Your right-hand cradles the back of her head, sighing at the feeling.
Her lips hover right above your public bone, her impatient breathing causing your hips to buck forward.
“Can I? Please?”
Vi was begging now, her hands gripping onto the meat of your thighs. Her eyes were desperate as she placed more kisses through your panties.
“Please what?” You pant, biting your lip at her neediness.
“Please, mommy.”
Vi whines looking up at you with desperation, craving your taste. A shiver traces your spine at her words, never realizing how arousing it was to have someone be so desperate for you.
“So good for me,” you hum as you signal for her to go on. “Go ahead, baby.”
Eager to please, Vi’s fingers hook onto the fishnets where your opening was and stretch it so hard that the fabric rips. The tear causes you to jump but beam at her hunger for you. She pushes your panties to the side, placing soft kisses up your thighs before diving into your sopping cunt.
You gasp at her tongue sliding through your folds slowly, lifting one of your legs to rest on the couch to open up more for her. Vi’s arm hooks underneath your thigh to tug you closer, sloppily licking through your folds.
Your fingers run through her hair to push it out of her face to stare down at her beautiful face. Her eyes were shut, moaning against you to add extra stimulation. You hum as you roll your hips against her face, her nose brushing your sensitive clit.
“Fuck, Vi. Doing so good for me,” you praise her movements.
Vi whimpers at the encouraging words, not slowing down her relentless tongue.
“You taste so good,” the black-haired girl underneath you pulls away to whine for a moment to catch her breath.
You hold back your moan at the dim lighting of a lamp in your apartment highlighting the sight of your slick glistening on her lips and chin. It was simply one of the most erotic things you’d ever seen.
“How good?” You tease as she leans back in to wrap her lips around your throbbing clit.
Vi looks up at you through hooded eyes, eyes glimmering with submission. “So fucking good.”
Your cunt clenches around nothing as she whines into your folds. Her tongue laps with determination as she feels your thighs tense up as your orgasm rapidly approaches. Vi wanted, needed you to cum on her face and she wanted to do whatever it took to get you there. She wanted to lather her face in your arousal just to see your beautiful eyes roll back into your head.
“You look so pretty eating my pussy, baby,” you praise. “So pretty.”
Oh, how much Vi ached for the sweet words you were giving her. She was heavy breathing and whimpering against your drenched cunt as her arm grips onto your thighs so that you wouldn't dare pull away. Your lower abdomen tightened as she raised her fingers to your soaked folds, teasing your entrance with her middle and pointer fingers.
Your hips jerk forward as she carefully tests the waters, inching only her middle finger inside of you. You knew Vi’s fingers were lengthy but feeling them inside of you opened your eyes to how close you were getting to your orgasm.
“Oh my, fuck,” you nod as encouragement for her to continue her movements. “Vi.”
A moan releases from the depth of Vi’s throat at how you said her name, vibrating against your cunt. Your hands were gripping onto her hair as leverage. Your knees were becoming jelly as your stomach tightened, warning you that you were approaching your orgasm.
“‘M gonna cum. Fuck, I’m close. Just like that, baby.”
Vi kept her eager pace, finger-fucking you as her tongue attacked your sensitive clit. Heat settled in your back as your hips stuttered against her face. Her eyes were trained on your twisted features as you came against her mouth.
She lapped up the cum selfishly, now using her other hand to settle on your lower back to push your hips more onto her face if that was even possible. You shiver as you chase the orgasm, trying to catch your breath at the overstimulation.
You mutter curses to yourself, attempting to calm down. Vi’s tongue and fingers slow to help with coming down from the intensity.
“How many girls have you done that too, fuck?” You chuckle, seriously wondering where she learned to do that.
Vi merely blinked up at you, breathing heavily herself. Her eyes were wide with anticipation and lingering submission.
“Was I good?” She questions, her fingers stilled inside of you.
You almost laugh in her face at the question but nod with a bright grin.
“You were so good for mommy, baby,” you coo as you caress her face.
Vi leans into your touch, shutting her eyes. You were never so intimate with hookups. It was usually you ate them out, they ate you out, and/or they fucked you or you fucked them and they left with no more than a few degrading words and harsh kisses.
This was a nice change of pace as far as one-night stands go.
“But what about you, huh? I bet you're so wet down there, angel.”
Vi nods to confirm, a beautiful whine leaving her swollen lips. You beam at the sound, glancing down at her skinny jean-cladded thighs when an idea sparked in your brain.
“Get up and take off your pants and underwear for me, yeah?” You instruct as you remove your leg carefully as it is still a bit sensitive from the orgasm.
Vi stood up on her heavy booted feet, shrugging off her leather jacket that you hadn’t even realized she had kept on this whole time. She must’ve been sweating in that thing. Confirming your suspicions, you watch as beads of sweat trickle down her toned back and shoulders. You wanted to lick it off of her, your tongue tracing every line of ink that was etched onto her pale skin.
Maybe another time if she so chooses.
This time, you sat back on the couch with your legs spread. You suck in a deep breath as she tugs down her briefs, avoiding eye contact with you. You had a confidence boost at how timid she ended up being in the bedroom compared to when you first met. She was nothing but snippy towards you.
Now look at her. Her briefs had an obvious wet patch on them but you were too focused on how gorgeous her body is.
“Look at you,” you praise as you hold your hands out to invite her into your lap.
Vi sucks in a deep breath as she makes her way over to you, eyes trained on yours. You send a sweet grin as you mutter ‘good girl’ as she straddles your left thigh. The feeling of her drenched cunt against your fishnet-cladded thighs sends a shiver down your spine.
It’s like she had read your mind.
Her hips greedily ground down on your thigh, visibly shaking at the relief she was getting. Your hands hold at her toned waist, watching her abs contract and the goosebumps rise to her pale skin.
“Does it feel good, baby?” You hum, running your palms up her torso.
Vi nods with a whimper, her hair falling in front of her face.
“Need to cum,” she mutters.
Your eyebrows raise as an amused, almost taunting chuckle at how fast she needed to cum.
“Oh, baby, you were really aching, huh?” You tease as you lean forward to place a few kisses over her bandaged chest.
Through hooded eyes, she cranes her neck to capture your lips into a soft kiss. You hum against her mouth as you can still taste your arousal still lingering on her lips, swiping your tongue over her bottom.
She mutters as she pulls away for a moment to whisper: “Wanted you to cum first.”
You can’t help but smile so wide that your teeth clank against one another. You move on from her lips to mutter sweet nothings into the crook of her neck, licking over the gear tattoo on the side neck. The shivers and moans that follow only encourage your filthy motives.
As her hips pick up their movements, you pull away to look down at your thigh that was glistening from her slick. Vi’s strong hands were resting on your shoulders as she was craving her orgasm that was mocking her.
Her already smudged black eyeshadow was somehow even more messy at this point. The sounds of her begging and moaning to cum were addicting.
“‘M gonna cum. Can I?” She shivers as she places a weak kiss on your lips.
Her brows furrow and her mouth falls permanently open as her pathetic moans leave her throat.
“Cum for me. You’re so— fuck, Vi.” You nodded as you sat back to watch her movements pick up.
Her desperate ‘ah’s’ fill the small space of your living room, folding her body over to rest her head on your shoulder. Your hands were settled on her waist, encouraging her to keep going.
Vi’s orgasm tore through her body, her grip on you tightening for a few seconds to try and hold herself up. Her whole body shook, her shoulders heaving up and down rapidly.
“Just like that. Good girl, Vi. So good,” you praise as you run your hand up her back. “Did so good.”
Vi’s forehead was still resting on your shoulder as she tried to catch her breath now more tilted into the crook of your neck. She huffs as she carefully sits up, removing her hands from your shoulders.
“Hey, it’s okay. Be careful.”
Your hands moved back down from her mid-back to rest on her hips.
After a few more minutes of the two of you letting yourselves calm down, the two had peed and washed your hands after your orgasms. You were awaiting the woman to come from your bathroom as you had moved to your bedroom.
Vi immediately asked if she could sleep at yours for the night. You smile at her tired state, slow sighs leaving her lips as she crawls onto your bed with her briefs back on now.
Your whole body was light as you allowed yourself to relax on the mattress, slow breathing as you were fighting sleep. Vi’s head was resting on your chest, bandaged arms curled around your torso. You hesitantly raise your hand to run your fingers through her hair, watching her eyes flutter shut at the feeling. Her lips brush past your collarbone as you feel her open her mouth, thinking she is going to kiss you.
What happens next throws you off guard.
“Cait.”
You blink at the mutter of a name you swore wasn’t yours leaving Vi’s lips. You wait for a moment to see if she does it again but she seems to be only muttering nonsense to herself. Feeling like it was inappropriate, you don’t speak on the matter, watching her drift off into a deep slumber.
You couldn’t even be mad at the woman, assuming what she might be feeling at the moment. And you were just too tired to care that much.
Vi doesn’t seem to notice her slip-up and knocks out against your chest, body stilling. You stare down at the slope of her nose and the small of her eyelashes and wonder who the hell could she be heartbroken over.
And if you wake up in the middle of the night to the sound of soft sobbing, you won’t say anything either.

Dance
Viktor x Fem!Reader
Word Count: 3k
Jayce has a plan: convince Viktor to attend the most important charity party in Piltover. But, as expected, Viktor refuses. What he didn't expect was that his assistant would show up at his workshop with a dazzling dress… and an invitation that Jayce secretly gave her. Could he really refuse now?
N/A: English is not my first language, feel free to correct me in the comments and I'll update it. Remember share if you liked it.
Tumblr media
Viktor was focused, hunched over his desk as he fine-tuned one of the delicate pieces of hexcore. The dim lamplight illuminated his tired face, with dark circles under his eyes and strands of hair falling across his forehead. He didn’t notice Jayce’s entrance until the echo of the door closing resonated through the workshop.
“Viktor, old friend,” Jayce said, his tone bright and already foreshadowing trouble. “I have news.”
“If it has to do with that charity party, the answer is still no,” Viktor replied without looking at him, adjusting the tool in his hand.
Jayce sighed dramatically, dropping his weight into one of the nearby chairs.
“Mel has insisted that we go. We represent the future of Piltover, remember? Innovators, role models…” Jayce made a wide gesture with his hands, as if he were giving a speech.
“If Mel insists, you can represent us alone,” Viktor replied indifferently. He knew he wasn’t really required here, inviting him was just a formality. Then he looked up and looked at him seriously. “I don’t have time for parties, there’s a lot of work to finish here.”
Not to mention that dancing was something he had crossed off the list of things he could still do.
His friend really wanted Viktor to go, mostly because he had been very down lately, he barely left the lab and there were days where he would find him with his face on his notebooks after falling asleep at some point in the early morning, he was the first to arrive and the last to leave, if he ever did.
Jayce watched him in silence for a moment, before giving him a sly smile.
“Okay, I understand. You can’t just drop your projects. But what if I gave you a reason to go?”
Viktor frowned, distrusting his tone.
—What kind of reason?
Jayce didn't answer. Instead, his smile widened as he glanced towards the door of the workshop, as if he was waiting for something. He had recently discovered what he thought was a clue to the kind of feelings Viktor had for you, the long longing glances, the little smiles, the casual approaches of his hands, he answering any of your curiosities and letting you sing soft melodies while he worked were all very obvious clues to his eyes. Viktor followed the direction of his gaze just as the door opened.
And there you were.
Viktor felt the air leave his lungs. You weren’t wearing your usual practical attire. Instead, you were sporting an elegant iridescent white dress that flowed like water with your every move. The color perfectly complemented your skin tone, and the design highlighted your figure in a way Viktor couldn’t ignore. Your hair was delicately arranged, and a glint in your eyes suggested you was nervous, yet excited.
“Y/N?” Viktor asked, still processing what he was seeing.
You gave him a shy, yet warm smile.
“Jayce invited me as your date,” you said, your tone a mix of apology and expectation. “I hope you don’t mind.”
Viktor slowly turned to Jayce, who now wore an expression of unabashed triumph.
“What have you done?” Viktor asked, his voice low, but laced with disbelief.
“I gave you a reason to go,” Jayce replied, raising his hands in an innocent gesture. “I knew you wouldn’t accept if there wasn’t something… or someone to make the evening interesting for you.”
Viktor felt his face heat up as his thoughts struggled to organize themselves. Of course he felt a certain special affection for you. It had been a secret he had jealously kept, even from himself, and he had refrained from dwelling on it too much, after all they were coworkers. But now, seeing you there, so beautiful, waiting for his answer, completely disarmed him.
“You don’t have to if you don’t want to, Viktor,” you said softly. “I just thought it would be… nice.”
Viktor’s heart skipped a beat. There was something in your tone that made him immediately doubt his usual refusal. For the first time in a long time, the idea of getting away from his work, even for a few hours, didn’t seem so far-fetched. Mostly because he didn’t seem able to wipe that beautiful smile off your face by refusing. His mind searched for excuses for himself, to justify that he had now changed his mind, and that this change had nothing to do with you.
Finally, he stood up with the help of his staff, running a hand through his messy hair, although it didn't help much.
"If you insist…" he murmured, looking at you more than at Jayce. "I suppose I can make an exception."
Jayce smiled widely.
"Perfect. Now, change. You can't go dressed like that."
Viktor let out a resigned sigh as he took the suitcase that Jayce had left with his suit, in another attempt to convince him, but he couldn't stop a small smile from appearing on his lips as he headed to the bathroom to change.
When he left he felt a little silly, he tried to arrange his hair in front of the mirror but it was totally impossible. Jayce see proudly that his plan had paid off, but the most important look for Viktor and the one he looked for as soon as he opened the door was yours. He watched your pupils dilate rapidly as you saw him come out in that elegant suit. Your hands went to your mouth trying to hide a smile. Viktor forced himself to look away to avoid them seeing the small blush that ran across his pale cheeks.
“Oh! I almost forgot.” You quickly went to open one of the tool cabinets, rummaging through the back with the curious gaze of the boys behind you. After a moment, you pulled out a small box, and as if you were a little girl skipping, you approached Viktor with it. “I hope you like it.”
Viktor looked at you in surprise as he took the delicate box in his hands. He opened it delicately to discover a maroon tie between the strands of paper. His gaze traveled from the gift to you several times before giving you a warm smile as he took the tie between his slender fingers.
“Would you have the honor?” You nodded with a smile, as your hands took the tie you got closer to him, managing to smell the coffee aroma that you loved so much, you brought the tie behind his neck inside the collar of his shirt and tied it perfectly over his chest. “Thank you.”
Tumblr media
The evening was everything Viktor had expected: lavish, loud, and filled with Piltover’s elites. Laughter and lively conversation echoed between walls adorned with gilded chandeliers and silk curtains. Viktor had always considered these events a waste of time.
When they arrived, Viktor could barely take his eyes off you. Jayce had already gone after the councilwoman, leaving them alone, as Viktor knew he would. His discomfort was evident in the way his hands played with the handle of his cane, which he tried to hide as soon as he began to walk through the crowd. You seemed to radiate confidence with every step, politely greeting the other attendees, as if these events were common for you.
Viktor, however, felt out of place. He held his cane tighter than usual, trying not to trip, but it was difficult given the state of his leg and the huge crowd.
“Relax,” you whispered with a reassuring smile as you tangled your arm through his. “Is it that bad?”
Viktor looked at you, his eyes softening instantly.
“Easy for you to say. You seem made for this.”
She let out a soft laugh.
“Not as much as you think. I’m just trying to look like it.”
A waiter passed by with a tray of wine glasses, taking a couple, offering another to Viktor. He reluctantly grew taller, though he hesitated before taking a sip.
From a safe distance, Jayce watched the scene with a satisfied smile. Mel approached him, arching an eyebrow in curiosity.
“What did you do this time?”
“A little push in the right direction,” Jayce replied, nodding towards where you stood with Viktor.
Mel let out a light laugh, shaking her head.
“I didn’t know you were a matchmaker.”
Jayce said alarmingly, shrugging.
“I’m not. But sometimes, a man needs help to see what’s right in front of him.”
Meanwhile, you and Viktor had climbed the stairs to the second floor, so you were more isolated from the hustle and bustle, it was a big job for him, but he really wanted to get away from the crowd. Plus the second floor was an even more beautiful place than the main hall, full of huge stained glass windows and a balcony at the end.
“I never imagined I’d end up here,” you said, looking at the lights that dyed the floor thanks to the stained glass. “When I was a child, I looked at the towers of Piltover from Zaun and dreamed of seeing them up close.”
“Zaun leaves its mark on all of us,” Viktor said softly, his fingers drumming against the handle of his cane. “But it’s not always a bad thing. Sometimes, it pushes us to… be better.”
You looked at him with a shy smile, your eyes meeting his.
"Do you think we've accomplished that?"
Viktor was silent for a moment sighing before answering, then slightly tilted his head at you.
"You certainly have."
Your eyes widened in surprise, a slight blush coloring your cheeks.
"That's quite a compliment coming from you."
The sound of music filled the air, and the guests began to make their way to the main hall for the dance. Jayce didn't hesitate to take Mel's hand and head out onto the dance floor.
"It's time to dance" you said, looking over the railing at the rest of the guests dancing with their partners with some longing.
"I don't dance" Viktor answered immediately. It was one of the things he had crossed off the list of things he could still do.
You looked at Viktor, shaking your head.
"I can't…"he didn't like saying that at all, but he didn't want her to be disappointed for failing even in the attempt to do it, all his life he had known that those things weren't for him, so he didn't give himself the time to even try. "I'm sorry to disappoint you." Viktor approached the railing, to look at all those couples dancing next to you.
"Disappoint me?" you answered incredulously, carefully bringing one of your hands closer to his "I don't think you can ever do that."
Your pinky gently caressed his hand, it was okay if he didn't want to dance, you had already witnessed what the pain in his leg could cause him and you didn't want that to happen today. You were pleased to just have his presence by your side, that was enough for you.
Viktor sighed, feeling guilty for 'ruining your night' he looked at you and knew he had to take the risk. He reached out a hand to you, more shaky than he would have liked.
“This time I might try.”
You took his hand carefully, leading him away from the railing, to his own little dance floor. As the music continued, Viktor tried to focus on following your steps, but he realized his attention was completely fixed on you, the way you held his hand, the way he felt your body close to his, your warmth against the cold of your skin. He couldn't help but blush as he finally worked up the courage to look at your face, your smile, the way you looked at him as if he were more than just an inventor addicted to his work.
For the first time in a long time, Viktor allowed himself to let go of the cane that made an almost imperceptible sound as it fell to the ground, he allowed himself to be enveloped by the moment, by the sensations, by you. He forced his leg to be useful to him for the first time, slowly under the silver lights of the moon, the outside world faded away, the pressure of his work, everything that tormented him left him to live the moment with you.
"Viktor, your cane…" you rushed quickly to grab it, thinking that you had dropped it by mistake but his hand in yours stopped you.
"I want to try it like this." He said as he extended his other hand for you to take. You weren't sure if that was the best thing for him, but the confidence on his face, the way he looked as if he were begging you to let him live that moment like that ended up convincing you.
Jayce, watching the scene from a safe distance at the bottom of the stairs, smiled to himself.
"It's about time." he said before Mel appeared and he happily let himself be dragged back to the dance floor.
Tumblr media
The dance continued, and although Viktor's movements were a little stiff, your slow, gentle movements managed to relax him little by little. Despite his lack of experience, Viktor was surprised to find a natural rhythm next to you. The murmur of the rest of the guests, the echo of laughter and conversations, faded as your eyes remained fixed on his, with your hands resting on his shoulders, and his own hands caressing your waist.
"See? It wasn't so terrible after all," you murmured with a smile as you buried your face in his neck.
Viktor looked down, his lips curving into a slight smile. But he knew he couldn't last much longer standing without his cane, he was starting to feel that stabbing pain in his leg, he tried to control it as best he could, he didn't want that moment with you to end.
"It's… bearable." He tried to keep his body as relaxed as possible, to avoid you noticing and he feeling like a dying man again.
You laughed, a sound so warm and sincere that it caused Viktor to have a strange tingle in his chest.
"Always so enthusiastic?" you joked.
"Maybe the environment has an influence" he answered, keeping his tone sarcastic but with an unusual softness that you didn't miss.
A comfortable silence settled between the two of them as they continued to sway to the music. Viktor, normally so oblivious to social interactions, couldn't help but wonder how someone like you, so kind and brilliant, was more than comfortable being in his life. And more importantly, how he had been lucky enough to have you stay in it.
As the music began to become softer, both of their movements became slower, until they stopped completely. You stayed close, your hands still joined, until he spoke in a voice barely audible to you:
"Thank you for joining me tonight."
You nodded.
"Thank you… for making it bearable."
He smiled, his gaze lowering for a moment before meeting yours again, as you picked up his cane from the floor and surrendered.
"Thank you. We should do this more often, don't you think?"
The suggestion took you by surprise, you didn't think Viktor would want to repeat something like that, but instead of responding with a negative and referring to his leg, you simply said:
"Maybe." with a sweet smile, now that you both shared more than just work. Without the bustle and inquisitive glances of the attendees, it was as if they were in a world of their own.
The party had reached its moment of recess, with laughter and soft music filling the air. The guests began to disperse throughout the place and some began to climb the stairs. The moment you shared was abruptly broken when a visibly drunk councilman stumbled towards you with a smirk on his face. His ostentatious attire and wine glass in hand made him seem out of place in the serene atmosphere you had created.
“Ah, there are the strangers!” he exclaimed, his tone heavy with mockery. His eyes assessed you both, lingering a little longer on you, an expression that made you shudder in disgust. You had received such looks before, you knew them and knew they led to nothing good.
Viktor tensed instantly, straightening up with difficulty and leaning more heavily on his cane to take a step forward.
“Can we help you with something?” Viktor asked coldly, clearly uncomfortable with the man’s presence.
The councilman let out an exaggerated laugh.
“Oh, I don’t need any help from you.” Though I must say, Heimerdinger has strange priorities, letting a couple of second-class citizens mingle among us.
Your brow furrowed and you clenched your fists, more than ready to throw him down the stairs and pretend he slipped. But before you could say anything, the man turned to Viktor with a sly grin.
“You… Viktor… How admirable that you accomplish so much in such… poor health. It’s a miracle you can stay on your feet, don’t you think? Though, of course, when all you have to offer is your brain, I guess there’s not much else you can use to impress.”
The comment hit like a whiplash, but Viktor didn’t respond immediately, it wasn’t the first time he heard someone talk about him like that, he didn’t care at all. His grip on the cane tightened just because you were there, and his jaw clenched, of all people in the world, he didn’t want you to be the one to hear that. He remained silent, his gaze fixed on the man.
The councilor, seeing that he wasn’t getting a response, turned his attention to you again. His eyes scanned you shamelessly, his smile twisting even more.
“And you, my dear… I guess it makes sense that you’re here with him. The girls of Zaun always know how to… adapt to circumstances, don’t they? A perfect match: a disembodied brain and a… well, you know.”
Indignation took hold of you. Your chest rose and fell rapidly, but before you could respond or move to fit his nose with a punch, Viktor grabbed your hand, stopping the hurricane of thoughts in your mind.
“Stop it,” Viktor said, his voice low but firm.
The councilman raised his eyebrows, feigning surprise.
“Oh, did you hit a nerve? I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to-”
“No,” Viktor interrupted, taking a step forward, despite the obvious annoyance the movement caused him. “Don’t be sorry. And I don’t want your fake apologies. Just… shut your mouth and get out.”
The man snorted, but before he could say anything else, you faced him, walking steadily in front of him, your voice clear and determined.
“It must be exhausting carrying so much shit around,” you said, with an icy smile. “But I guess I couldn’t expect anything else from someone whose only virtue is his last name.”
The councilman looked at you, surprised by your bravery, and then snorted before turning to leave, muttering something unintelligible and spilling half of his glass of wine on the floor.
When you were alone again, the air was still tense, your fists still clenched at your sides. Viktor finally let out a long sigh, closing his eyes for a moment.
“You shouldn’t have… faced him,” he said softly. “I’m used to his usual nonsense.”
You looked at him with a determined expression.
“And you shouldn’t bear that in silence. No one deserves to be treated like that, especially you. They should lick your shoes, thanks to you this city really became the city of progress. You shouldn’t have to get used to it, Viktor.” You intertwined your hand with his, like an instinct you couldn’t ignore.
He looked down at their intertwined hands. He could feel the warmth of your touch breaking through the cold barrier he had built up over the years.
“I don’t believe his words, they’re irrelevant to me,” he finally admitted, his voice laced with honesty.
You gently squeezed his hand, forcing him to look at you.
“Then stand up for yourself, because you know what I believe? I believe you’re more than just a brilliant brain, Viktor. You’re not just a man with a cane or someone who comes from Zaun. You’re so much more than that, a genius, a visionary. There’s so much about you that’s amazing besides your wit.”
Viktor let out a short, dry laugh, but there was a spark of something else in his expression. Maybe gratitude, maybe something deeper that he didn’t dare name yet.
“You’re… persistent,” he said, with a slight smile that quickly faded as he looked back into your eyes. “But I don’t understand why.”
You tilted your head, confused.
“Why, what?”
Viktor looked away, unsure of how to continue, but he knew the words were already on the edge of his lips, and he couldn’t turn back.
“Why do you care so much about me? Why are you still here, by my side, despite everything. Helping me with everything, always taking care of me, looking at me as if there was nothing more interesting than me when I talk to you…even now.”
You looked at him for a long moment with a huge blush caught in your cheeks, and then, with a warmth in your voice that almost disarmed him, you answered, “Because I see you, Viktor. I see who you really are, and… I care about you. Much more than I should.”
The world seemed to stop in that instant. Viktor swallowed, feeling the air grow heavier, but also clearer at the same time.
“Y/N…” His voice was a whisper, as if he was taste out your name in a different, more intimate context that even he didn’t know about.
Their eyes met again, and this time, Viktor didn't look away, just watching your eyes sparkle and your pupils widen, it warmed his heart to know it was because you were looking at him.
"I should tell you now, but well…it's something new."
You smile softly, giving him some relief.
"You don't need to be good at it. Just tell me what you feel."
Viktor took a deep breath, as if he was preparing for a leap he had feared for a long time.
"I admire you. Not just for your intelligence or your ability to put up with my…quirks. But because you make me feel different…alive. With you, I don't feel alone. With you, I feel like…I can be something more."
His words were clumsy, but the sincerity in them was undeniable.
“And I think… I feel something really deep for you, Y/N.”
The silence that followed was overwhelming, but not because you were hesitating. But because you were taking in each word, feeling them deeply. Slowly, a smile spread across your face, and with a determined step, you closed the distance between you.
“That’s good, Viktor,” you whispered, leaning in just enough for him to hear each word clearly. “Because I’m already in love with you.”
Viktor looked at you, a flash of something soft and warm crossing his eyes.
“Thank you,” he finally said, his voice almost a whispered gasp. Despite everything he believed made him unworthy, you always saw him as something more.
The air seemed to vibrate between you, charged with an energy neither of you could explain but both of you understood. As the lights of Piltover continued to shine in the distance, the two of them towered over high society, standing together in a pure, private moment.
Tumblr media
Jayce, who had been watching the scene with a mix of satisfaction and pride, decided not to interrupt. Mel, at his side, looked at him with an arched eyebrow.
“Happy with your masterpiece?” she asked, taking a sip of her glass.
“More than I imagined,” Jayce replied, crossing his arms as a triumphant smile lit up his face. “Viktor deserved it, although he’ll probably hate me tomorrow.”
“Oh, I don’t think he’ll hate you,” Mel said, watching the couple. “Maybe he’ll even thank you… eventually.”
As the night progressed and the lights in the hall grew dimmer, you and Viktor remained close, away from the bustle of the rest of the guests. For the first time in a long time, Viktor wasn’t thinking about the Hexcore, or his work, or his body, or the expectations he had placed on himself.
At that moment, there were only the two of them, and that, for Viktor, was a discovery as fascinating as any scientific breakthrough.

your bf satoru who always 'just happened' to walk in on you while you're changing.
-
"toru! you could've knocked," you claimed, caught completely off guard. the shirt you just took off still hanging on your arm, leaving you in bra and shorts. the man in question was unfazed, he did not even have the decency to look remorseful in the least.
"baby i told you to invite me when you're putting on a show!" his gaze was shameless, roaming around every inch of your skin like he haven't seen it before. "what show? i'm changing, you silly man," you said rolling your eyes at his usual antics, bending your hips as you slid down the black shorts you were wearing.
satoru groaned at the sight.
"this show baby. with a gorgeous body like yours everything is a show, anywhere is your stage. you're the star," he insisted exaggeratedly, his stare still glued to every moment you made. it was clear that the man was infatuated. you could only shook your head in response, a smile couldn't hold itself in.
you immediately noticed he had come to stand unnecessary close after you grabbed fresh clothes from the wardrobe. his greedy gaze was perplexed, as if he couldn't decide where to settle its stare. then he stopped at your chest, lingering a second too long before resting it there, not even trying to be subtle.
"you're staring, toru," you chuckled, pointing the obvious. "fuck, have i not been clear enough about it? sorry baby i'll try harder." he closed the distance between the two of you with ease, putting an arm around your lower back. the shirt that's in your hold dropped to the floor at the sudden genture, your chest all pressed up against him.
"such pretty tits," he whispered, his eyes full of heat. he planted some kisses on your collarbone, trailing all the way down to your bust. his hands squeezed your sides, "perfect hips," he mumbled to your skin. his kisses didn't stop, it really felt like he was singing praise to every part of your body, making sure he didn't miss a single inch. every touch had left your skin aflame, yet you didn't mind.
he kneeled, kissing the side of your thigh. "don't even get me started on these thighs," his bright blue eyes stared at you from below, the rush of excitement that's on your chest was something you couldn't even begin to explain. to have the strongest person kneeling in front you as he worshipped you so lovingly... you must've done something right in your past life was your only conclusion.
satoru began to stand, carrying you along with him. you squealed at the abruptness, but soon your back was met with the familiar softness of your bed. he put his hands on either sides of your head, looking at you like you're his world. he peppered kisses across your face as you laughed, it really felt like he just swallowed sunshine. the funny feeling flowing down his chest was something he'd never get used to, but in no way that it felt bad. not at all.
"you're so perfect baby."
you cupped his face gently, kissing him deeply. whispering words of gratitude against his lips, you felt him smile. which worried you a little since it's one of those mischevous he wore when he's up to no good.
oh you.
so oblivious.
oblivious to the fact that satoru's stream of compliments is far from over.

the parents
Drew’s parents were in Charleston for the weekend, visiting him at the set of the show for the last few shooting days before wrapping season one.
They had kindly invited you all out to dinner to finally meet Drew’s friends.
He was so excited you were finally meeting part of his family.
Everyone who knew Drew knew how much he loved and cared for them.
So getting to finally meet them was exciting and nerve wracking at the same time.
Madelyn, Chase, Rudy, Madison, JD, Austin and you had finally arrived at the restaurant, where Drew and his parents were already waiting for you all in a table near the back of the place.
A little Italian restaurant in downtown Charleston.
Was there a more perfect place than that?
The moment his parents saw you all approaching, they stood up embracing you all in tight hugs and lovely greetings, Drew standing on the side smiling widely.
You walked to his mom as you offered her a big smile.
“Hi, I’m…” you said looking at her excitedly.
She made a happy high pitch sound as she looked at you, pulling you in for a hug.
“You must be y/n!” she said giving you the biggest bear hug. “Oh my God, you’re so much beautiful in person” she said as she pulled back to look at you with bright eyes.
You blushed at her comment.
“You’re too nice…” you paused with a smile, not sure if you should address her by her name or if that would be too impersonal.
She smiles as she gives your arms a little warm squeeze.
“You can call me Jodi dear” she smiles at you as she hugs you one more time before letting you go.
You move on to greet his dad, Todd, introducing yourself as well, making little small talk as you all settle yourselves on the table ready to order.
The night goes on smoothly, filled with laughs and anecdotes of baby Drew, courtesy of his lovely parents.
You were all having too much fun hearing his embarrassing baby stories and juicy teenage drama.
As the dinner went on with chatter, pasta and wine, you couldn’t help but smile at how happy and at ease Drew looked around his parents.
It made your heart warm.
Before you all left after having spent a wonderful night together, you approached his parents to wish them a good night.
“It was lovely meeting you two” you say smiling up at them. “I had so much fun, and now I know where Drew got his sense of humor”.
Todd laughs at your comment as Jodi hugs you.
“It was so nice meeting you too dear” she says as she leans back smiling at you. “We hope you can visit us back home soon, you’re welcome anytime” she looks at you and then at the rest of your friends. “You’re all welcome”.
You blush at her words, feeling their love and affection.
“Thank you so much” you say smiling at her. “You’re more than welcome at home back in Mexico whenever you want” you smile sweetly at them as you eye Drew smirking from behind them.
Jodi hugs you one last time before letting you go.
“We might take you up on that offer” she says laughing looking at Todd.
Everyone bids their goodbyes before Drew approaches you as you all walk out of the restaurant.
“Your parents are amazing” You say as you give him a smile.
She shrugs cockily as he looks at you.
“What can I say?” He says smirking at you. “They did raise a pretty cool kid”.
You laugh at him as you hit him playfully.
“A pretty humble one” you say sarcastically with a smile.
He laughs softly, throwing his head back and looking at you again.
“They really loved you” he says, looking attentively at you. “All of you” he lets out, his gaze never leaving yours.
You blush at his words.
The night had gone as perfect as you’d imagined.
the siblings
This was not how you imagined your morning starting.
The night before had been quite successful, if you could call it that.
Madelyn and Drew had invited you all over to their place, for a typical drinking night at their place.
So you all had gathered there to drink and chat, as usual.
But things might have gone a bit overboard than usual.
You had a few free days from filming, so you all took that and rolled with it, not caring about anything besides having fun all together.
And that’s how, that morning, you woke up with a headache and no phone at your place.
You had no idea how you had gotten to your apartment and tucked yourself in bed. You tried to remember but your mind was hazy and blurry.
And as you tried to find your phone, it was nowhere to be seen.
That’s how you ended up going down in the elevator to Maddie’s and Drew’s floor.
You prayed your phone was somewhere in their place, cause if not, you’d be cooked.
On your way down, you cringed as you caught the reflection of yourself in the elevator mirror. This was not your best look.
Your hair was messy tied in a low bun, and you were wearing a big oversized t-shirt with the obx logo, and underneath, some very small sleeping shorts that were invisible under your big tee and sleepers.
Yeah, you were not beating the hungover allegations.
As the doors of the elevator opened, you walked to their apartment as you knocked on their door.
You closed your eyes as your head throbbed a little, you just wanted to find your phone, and go back up to your place to drink a gallon of water and maybe take some aspirin.
And then you thought, where they still hungover and asleep? You hadn’t even taken a second to wonder that maybe you would be waking them up.
In all honesty, you didn’t even know what time it was.
But just then, you heard footsteps coming from inside the apartment and the door being opened.
Revealing a man with an unknown but familiar face at the same time.
Were you at the wrong floor?
This was too much for you and your brain in this state.
You squinted your eyes a little as you looked at the man in front of you. You looked from him to the apartment number, wondering if you had messed up. As you opened your mouth to speak his eyes narrowed as he looked at you.
“Can I help…” his eyes went from squinting to surprised. “You’re y/n!” he said smiling at you, looking happy and surprised. “I’m Logan, Drew’s brother.
You blink while looking at him.
He was Drew’s brother.
Now you remember. He had said his siblings were coming to stay with him for a few days to spend the break with him.
Oh dear God. You had totally forgotten.
And now you were standing in the door, in front one of his siblings, in pijamas and hungover.
Worst first impression ever.
“Oh my god, hi!” You say, accidentally sounding a bit too excited than you intended. “It’s so nice to meet you” you smile, clearing your throat, feeling too embarrassed to think of something else to say.
He laughs softly at you, and before you can say anything else, another voice from behind echoes.
“Logan, who’s that?” A girl with brow hair pops up from behind him while looking at you.
You wished the earth could swallow you whole.
“Hi, I’m y/n” you say smiling anxiously at her.
Your appearance definitely was not giving you any confidence at the moment.
“Oh my God” she says smiling at you while shoving his brother aside. “You’re the y/n!” she says excitedly while approaching you. “I’ve been wanting to meet you for so long” she finishes as she pulls you for a hug. “I’m Brooke”.
The only thing you could do was return the hug while laughing nervously.
“Come in, we’re making breakfast” Logan says as he invites you in, closing the door behind you.
You really didn’t wanna be there in that moment.
Like, it was lovely meeting them, they seemed like the sweetest persons ever, but, you were feeling sticky, nauseous and embarrassed that they had to meet you like this.
Just your luck.
“Oh thank you so much, but…” you were interrupted as a girl with blonde hair walked out the kitchen.
She paused her steps looking at you.
“Mackayla, you’re not gonna believe this, she’s y/n!” Brooke said to her sister, as she side hugged you.
You smile at her softly while waving at her.
Her eyes brighten while she smiles at you.
“Oh my God!” she says excitedly. “Drew didn’t tell us you were coming, we would’ve cooked something better than pancakes” she smiles at you.
God how you wished you could’ve showered before coming down.
“No, please don’t worry!” you say a little too fast, looking at them, causing them to eye you with a confused look. “I really don’t wanna interrupt your breakfast” you say smiling at them embarrassed.
This was the worst situation ever.
Or that’s what you thought.
Because as you finished talking, Drew came walking down the hall, shirtless, with only some sleeping shorts and a towel on his hand while he dried his hair.
“What are you guys bickering about?” he says walking to his siblings before he stops and notices you.
You look at him while giving him an awkward smile.
His eyes open a bit too much in surprise.
“Hi” you mumble out sheepishly. “I just came by to see if I had left my phone here” you say blushing a little at the attention. “Cannot find it anywhere” you say moving your hands, showing them how they’re empty.
God you were being pathetic.
Was this how animals at the zoo felt?
“Uh yeah yeah” he blinks at you. “I was gonna bring it up to you later” he says walking to the couch, picking it up and handing it to you.
You take it from him while sighing in relief.
“Thank you so much” you say as you hug your phone dramatically. “I was panicking” you say laughing while looking at his siblings.
They all looked between you and Drew smiling.
You cleared your throat.
“I should get going now” you say smiling softly at them. “It was really nice meeting you” you say, feeling way embarrassed as each second passed.
Mackayla shaked her head looking at you.
“Please stay, we’d love for you to join us!” she says smiling at you hopeful.
“I really don’t wanna impose” you say giving them a sheepish smile, before Brooke shrugs and shakes her head.
“None of that! Maddie will join us too” she smiles at you.
Drew lets out a chuckle.
“If she wakes up” he says laughing softly.
In that moment, Maddie walks out of her room towards the bathroom, stopping herself to give Drew a humorless look.
“I am wake” she says before hiding herself in the bathroom.
You all burst into soft laughter before you can feel all their eyes on you once again.
Your cheeks heat in embarrassment.
“Give me 5 minutes to shower and I’ll be down with a brand new box of cookies from home I have in my place” you say giving them a smile.
They all laugh while you’re already walking out the door.
“Deal!” Logan laughs as they all see the door close behind you.
You run up to you place, chugging an aspirin and getting into the shower to get yourself looking decent and to try and fix your first impression on Drew’s siblings.
Down at his place, they’re finishing setting the table and cooking breakfast.
“She’s cute” Mackayla says as she gives Drew a look.
He laughs softly under his breath looking at her suspiciously.
“Yeah, she can pull that hangover look, not everyone can, it’s hard” Logan lets out before Drew smacks him playfully in the head.
He groans while his sisters laugh at him.
“She seems funny too” Brooke says walking to them. “That’s a good quality to have you know” she lets out while looking at Drew.
He rolls his eyes at his siblings comments, trying to act nonchalant.
“Don’t be weird around her” he lets out, smiling at the memory of you at his apartment in your disheveled look.
How were you able to make the best impressions even having just woken up?

I love Bucky loving his body. I love Bucky loved by the team. I love Bucky having his happy ending with a family. Imagine Bucky lounging around the sofa with his little baby girl tucked in his arm, her sweet face covered in frosting after smothering half of her cupcake onto her cheeks. The icing is bright red just like Tony's suit and it's his birthday party afterall, so everything is in full swing. Most of the cupcake is squished between her fingers, very little actually making it into her mouth but Bucky doesn't mind. He chuckles, watching her with heart eyes as she happily smears it onto his crisp white shirt, babbling and cooing, now sucking her thumb.
He is absolutely unbothered by this, all he sees is his happy little baby with her cheeky smile licking up all the frosting just like her mama. While Bucky couldn't care less about his shirt, a few others certainly did.
"Better get dunk that shirt into a bucket of tide pens Barnes" Clint snorted.
"Actually the quicker you get it off, the less likely it is to stain. Take it off now" Tony's voice went from fatherly advice to a seductive growl making Bucky's face twist in amusement, pink starting to color his cheeks.
"Yeah, give the little munchkin to y/n and take it off. Cause of the stain" Nat agreed, cocking an eyebrow. You giggled watching the scene unfold before you, your husband growing bashfully shy.
"Can't hurt punk" Steve shrugged and Bucky's eyes nearly popped out of his head until he realized his best friend had been nursing a rather large glass of Asgardian mead. Tipsy Steve was always a little bit of a pervert...
"I-
"For the stain"
"I think you just want me to take my shirt off" Bucky huffed while you grinned, giving his cheek a peck before taking your little princess in your arms.
"Can't blame them handsome, c'mon, show em' how lucky I am" you whisper and that sells it. Couldn't hurt and since they were all asking...
"Just take it off!" Nat howled with a wink, a bunch of whistles when Bucky sighed, indulging the team a little. He unbuttons his shirt and hands it off to a genuinely concerned Sam who would normally make sure the shirt got sent to the cleaners but this is too good so he throws it into a bucket of cold water and is back within seconds.
"Good God"
"Jesus"
"You look fuckin' good terminator"
"Alright, alright" Bucky holds his hands up, unable to stop the way his ears are bright red, shaking his head when you blow him a kiss making him blush more.
"Body shots!"
"What?"
"Yes"
Tony's eyes glimmer with excitement, and Bucky snorts, loving the way you egg him on, his daughter also squealing with excitement.
"Go on Sarge, y'know you look good"
He lies down on the bar table, surrounded by just the team, abs beautifully flexed as Nat pours a generous amount of some type of alcohol right on his belly button.
"When else will we get this lucky" She says with a playful smirk while Steve cracks his knuckles.
"Why are you cracking your knuckles, what the hell do you plan on-
"ME FIRST" He doesn't give anyone a chance, face planting himself into Bucky's tummy, his lips sealed, drinking every bit of the burning liquor with a satisfied hum.
"How much has he had to drink"
"Who cares, me next"
"I think you've licked enough of my husband"
"You get him all the time, don't be greedy"
"That cute little chubby ball of frosting and giggles is enough evidence you get him every which way, besides isn't there another one cooking, y'can't have any now git"
"Blink twice if you need help"
"Bro looks like an angel"
"Why aren't you blinking"
"Crafted by the heavens"
"You like this, don't you"
Bucky can't help but chuckle, surrounded by idiots. Drunk idiots. His wife. His baby girl. Another little one on the way. All who love him. Would protect him. Life was good.

P: Racer!Ni-ki X Fem!Reader
Warnings: Teasing, Possessive Behaviour, Fluff
Synopsis: In the heart of the underground racing scene, you are a passionate starter, known for your ability to ignite excitement before each race. When you first meet Nishimura Ni-ki, a legendary driver, you are initially intimidated by him. However during the races you capture his attention.
a/n: knowing you have the attention of someone like Ni-ki is exciting tbh.. ANYWAYS i am a HUGE lover of the fast & furious franchise so this was quite overdue!! (inspired by this edit : TikTok - Make Your Day)
─── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ──
"I don't get why I have to be there for every race you do," you said, glancing over at your friend, who was gripping the steering wheel with one hand, the other casually shifting gears.
"Because you're the starter," he replied, his tone like it was the most obvious thing in the world.
"There are other starters," you shot back. "I'm not the only one."
He raised an eyebrow, a slight smirk playing on his lips as he asked, "Do you have anything better to do than attend these races?"
You opened your mouth, ready with a rebuttal, but nothing came. After a beat, you closed your mouth and sank back into the seat.
"Yeah, exactly," he said, smug. "Plus, it's good for you to get out and meet new people."
The music from the radio blared a little louder as he cranked up the volume. You sighed, fiddling with the edge of your shirt.
"And it gives you more insight for the big race next month," he added, his eyes focused on the road ahead as the car sped past traffic.
"But that's weeks away," you mumbled under your breath, shifting your gaze out the window, watching the blur of lights and cars fly by.
"You know you’ll thank me later," he said, his voice laced with confidence as he pushed the car to go even faster.
As your friend parked the car, the tires crunching on the gravel beneath, you stepped out and took in the scene. Despite the late hour, the area was alive, glowing under huge industrial lights that bathed the lot in an artificial brightness. Cars were everywhere, a chaotic lineup of souped-up rides with booming music, others showing off their horsepower, engines roaring as they drifted in tight circles.
"Did you want to be a starter today?" your friend asked, leaning casually against the roof of his car.
You shrugged. "Sure," you replied, though your energy didn’t quite match the excitement of the crowd.
Walking away, you strolled past rows of cars, admiring their sleek designs and custom paint jobs, the polished metal gleaming under the lights. You ignored the catcalls from a group of guys leaning against a low-rider, keeping your focus ahead. Tonight, you weren’t dressed to impress—just something simple, thrown on after your friend dragged you out of the house. But your bandana was tied around your wrist, the familiar black-and-white checkered pattern standing out. It was your signature, the same one you used to signal the start of every race.
The energy around you was electric, the thrum of engines mixing with the bass-heavy beats from the cars parked nearby. You wound your way through the crowd, feeling a strange mix of familiarity and detachment. You weren’t really in the mood to be here, but this scene always had a way of pulling you in.
After a bit of wandering, you spotted some familiar faces—people you knew from past races, ones who recognized you right away. They greeted you with nods and half-smiles, pulling you into their small circle.
After hanging around for a bit, chatting with familiar faces, you eventually found yourself drifting toward the starting line. As the races kicked off, your friend waved you over, a sly grin on his face. "Looks like they need a starter," he said, tossing a glance toward the eager crowd of racers lining up. You could already feel the pull, the electricity in the air calling to you.
With a nod, you stepped forward, positioning yourself between two cars. The engines growled, their headlights casting long shadows across the pavement, illuminating your figure as you stood in the middle. Both drivers stared ahead, hands gripping the wheels, laser-focused on the moment. And then there was you—at the center of it all. The one who would signal the start.
You raised your bandana high, feeling the fabric tight around your wrist. The engines revved in response, their deep rumbling vibrating through the ground beneath your feet. All eyes were on you now. The weight of the anticipation, the intensity in the air—it made your pulse quicken.
With a swift motion, you dropped your hand, and like a spark igniting gasoline, the cars exploded forward, tires screeching and smoke billowing up behind them. The sound of engines roaring filled your ears as they sped past, kicking up dust and gravel in their wake. You couldn’t help the smile that spread across your face, the rush of adrenaline coursing through you as you watched them disappear into the distance.
The thrill was undeniable. That moment when everything paused, when the world held its breath before you dropped the flag—it was exhilarating, addictive even.
Race after race, you found yourself sinking into the rhythm of it. Standing between two roaring machines, feeling the raw power they held, and knowing you controlled the moment they unleashed it. The vibrations from the engines, the cheers from the crowd, the smell of burning rubber—it all swirled around you, making you forget about the lazy mood you'd been in earlier.
After another race, you dusted your hands off, feeling the faint tremble of excitement still lingering in your fingers. You were enjoying yourself now, more than you’d expected. This was your element—the rush, the control, the fleeting moments where everything slowed before it erupted into chaos.
─── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ──
You stood with a group of women, chatting casually and enjoying the scene, when a familiar lime-green Mazda rolled up to the line. The car was loud and flashy, just like its driver. You rolled your eyes the moment you saw Haruto step out, all swagger and energy, hyping the crowd as if they hadn’t seen him race a hundred times before. He soaked in the attention, pointing fingers at people he knew, already talking trash with the other drivers.
“Here we go…” you muttered under your breath, more annoyed than amused. Haruto was good—everyone knew that—but his ego was twice the size of his talent.
Just as you were about to turn away, a sleek silver Mitsubishi pulled up to the starting line next. It immediately caught your attention. You whistled low under your breath, admiring the car’s perfect blend of black and white racing stripes that seemed to melt into the silver body like it was designed for this very moment.
“No way…” you heard Ryujin, one of your friends, murmur next to you, her voice a mix of disbelief and excitement.
You turned your head to her, eyebrows raised. “What?”
She didn’t take her eyes off the car as she spoke. “He’s racing against Nishimura.”
Your heart skipped a beat at the name. “Wait… Nishimura?” You whipped your head back to the Mitsubishi, squinting to get a better look at the driver behind the tinted windows.
Everyone in the racing world knew who Nishimura was. His rise was meteoric. A few years ago, he’d been a no-name rookie, just another driver trying to make his mark. But that quickly changed. He became a legend on the underground circuit, with a reputation for being nearly unbeatable. But the man himself? You had never seen him in person. You'd only heard the stories—how he drove like he was born for the track, a natural who didn’t play by anyone’s rules.
Now, standing there, you couldn’t help but feel a rush of curiosity and awe. The Mitsubishi was sleek, powerful, but that wasn’t what had your attention. It was the knowledge that the man behind the wheel was one of the best to ever do it, and tonight, you’d finally get to see him race.
The crowd around you buzzed with energy, whispering Nishimura’s name like it carried some kind of magic. You felt the tension rising, a sense that something bigger than the usual street race was about to happen.
You glanced at Ryujin. “This is going to be over quick, isn’t it?”
She nodded, her eyes glued to the track. “You have no idea.”
As Haruto climbed back into his car, showboating as always, you suddenly felt hands on your back as Karina playfully shoved you forward. "Go on!" she giggled, clearly enjoying herself.
You shot her a wide-eyed look of disbelief. "Don’t push!" you huffed, but your feet had already carried you forward, right into the middle of the two revving cars. The roar of the engines surrounded you, vibrating through the air and into your bones. Standing there, between Haruto’s lime-green Mazda and the sleek Mitsubishi, you felt a surge of energy.
With a stern look, you raised your arms to get their attention. "Now I want a clean race! From both of you," you shouted, pointing between them. You narrowed your eyes specifically at Haruto, who was known to pull sneaky tricks when he got desperate. "No tricks, or jukes."
Haruto revved his engine in response, flashing his usual cocky grin, though his eyes darted toward the Mitsubishi, and for the first time, you noticed a hint of stiffness in his posture. He knew this wasn’t going to be an easy win.
"Ready?" you asked, locking eyes with him. He revved up again, the Mazda growling under the pressure, but his attention was split, clearly sizing up the competition.
Then you turned toward the Mitsubishi. "Ready?" you called, and the car’s engine roared to life, a smooth, confident sound that sent a shiver down your spine. You couldn’t see through the dark windows, but you felt something different in the air—a tension you couldn’t quite place.
With a smirk, you raised your bandana high. "Go!" you shouted, waving it down. Both cars shot off the line like bullets, the roar of their engines drowning out the cheers from the crowd as they sped past you. Dust kicked up in their wake, but you stood your ground, watching as they tore through the track, navigating the turns with precision and speed.
As you turned to walk back to your spot, you didn’t know the effect you’d had.
Inside the Mitsubishi, Nishimura had almost missed his cue. The moment you’d stepped out onto the track, his focus had shifted completely. The fierce concentration he was known for had wavered. For a split second, he’d forgotten where he was, what he was doing, and what was at stake. All he could see was you, standing between the two cars, commanding the moment with confidence and authority. It was enough to throw him off—a rarity for someone like him.
It wasn’t until he saw you pointing directly at him that he snapped out of it, realizing he hadn’t revved his engine. He quickly corrected himself, the roar of the car snapping back into focus as he gunned the accelerator and sped off.
But even as he tore through the turns, effortlessly drifting and leaving Haruto in the dust, his mind kept slipping back to you. He couldn’t shake the image of you standing there, completely unbothered by the chaos around you.
By the time the race was nearing its end, Nishimura was far ahead, his car slicing through the night with ease. Haruto didn’t stand a chance, but the victory was almost secondary. Nishimura’s pulse raced with a different kind of adrenaline, one that had nothing to do with the thrill of the race.
His car roared as it crossed the finish line, its sleek frame gliding effortlessly under the neon lights. The crowd erupted into cheers, but his mind wasn’t on the race. As he pulled his car to a stop and cut the engine, the world seemed to quiet down, everything slowing for just a moment.
He exhaled, unfastened his seatbelt, and pushed open the door. Stepping out of the car, his lean frame emerged, his hair slightly tousled from the speed and wind. The crowd surged toward him, hyping up his victory, chanting his name, but Nishimura’s focus was elsewhere.
His eyes scanned the crowd, searching. It wasn’t the win that made his pulse race—it was you.
When his gaze landed on you, and for a moment, it felt like the world had narrowed to just the two of you. His eyes held yours, a mix of curiosity and something you couldn't quite place, but it made your heart race.
Just as you were about to process the moment, the spell was broken by a familiar voice. "You ready to go home?" Your friend appeared beside you, jingling his keys with a grin. You blinked, startled by the sudden shift, and turned to face him.
You blinked, shaking off the lingering intensity of Nishimura's stare, "Yeah," you nodded softly, a bit dazed, before following him through the crowd. As you walked away, you couldn’t resist glancing back toward where Nishimura had been standing, but to your surprise, he was gone. Just like that.
Huh... where did he go? you thought, scanning the crowd for a sign of him, but he had seemingly vanished without a trace. A strange feeling settled in your chest—curiosity mixed with something else. You shook it off and followed your friend through the throng of people, the night air cooling as the adrenaline from the race began to fade.
When you reached your friend’s car, you leaned against the door and raised an eyebrow. "Did you even race Lucas?"
He laughed, unlocking the car and shaking his head. "Nah, didn’t bother. But I had fun." He wiggled his eyebrows mischievously, and you groaned, knowing exactly what he meant.
"Ugh, I did not wanna know that," you said, scrunching up your nose in mock disgust as you slid into the passenger seat.
He chuckled and turned on the engine, the car rumbling to life as he drove off into the quiet night. The ride home was comfortable, the streetlights casting fleeting shadows through the windows.
When your friend finally pulled up in front of your house, you exchanged a quick goodbye. He waved as you got out, and you offered a small smile in return, still distracted. Once inside, you kicked off your shoes, the events of the night catching up to you. A quick shower helped wash away the lingering dust and grime from the track, but it did little to clear your mind.
Finally, you collapsed into bed, your body sinking into the mattress as exhaustion pulled at you.
─── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ──
You had been going to more races lately, every weekend like clockwork. The underground scene was alive and buzzing, with each race becoming more intense than the last. But there was one thing you noticed—a pattern that had begun to emerge. Every time you were the starter, Nishimura was there, lined up at the start with his sleek Mitsubishi, ready to race.
At first, you chalked it up to coincidence. But as the weeks passed, it became clear that it wasn’t. No matter where the races were hosted, no matter how different the crowd, Nishimura would be there. And without fail, he’d win. His driving was as smooth and precise as ever, but something about the way his eyes would linger on you just before he sped off—it left you with a strange fluttering feeling you couldn't shake.
You were about to head out when suddenly, the unmistakable wail of sirens cut through the night. In an instant, the entire atmosphere shifted. Chaos erupted as people scrambled to their cars, trying to get out before the cops could close in.
Panic surged through you as you scanned the crowd, looking for any of your friends, but the mess of people made it impossible. Cars were speeding off in every direction, headlights blurring together, and the sound of screeching tires filled the air. Your heart raced, and just as you started to feel the panic rise, a familiar sleek silver car slid to a stop beside you. The window rolled down, and there he was.
"Get in!" Nishimura shouted, his voice urgent but calm.
You didn’t hesitate. Without a second thought, you jumped into the passenger seat, slamming the door behind you. Before you could even get settled, Nishimura hit the gas, and the car shot forward, weaving effortlessly between the other vehicles that were fleeing the scene. You gripped the handlebar above the door, holding on as the car sped through the narrow streets, sliding past cop cars with a precision that left you breathless.
The speedometer arrow kept climbing, the numbers blurring as the engine roared beneath you. You glanced at Nishimura, his hands steady on the wheel, his expression focused yet completely at ease. He was in his element, and you couldn’t help but admire how effortlessly he handled the car, as if it was an extension of him.
After a few intense minutes, the sirens grew distant, and it became clear that the cops had lost track of you. Nishimura slowed down, the adrenaline still buzzing between the two of you, but the immediate danger had passed. You let out a breath you hadn’t realized you were holding, relaxing your grip on the handlebar.
Taking a moment to steady yourself, your attention drifted to the interior of the car. Everything was sleek, black, and incredibly well-maintained. The leather seats were soft beneath you, and a soft red glow emanated from under your feet, casting a warm, almost intimate light. You couldn’t help but run your fingers over the dash, admiring the attention to detail.
"You like it?" Nishimura’s voice broke the silence, casual yet with a hint of curiosity.
"I do," you said, glancing over at him. He was still looking at the road, but there was something about the way he asked that told you he was aware of more than just the street ahead of him. His attention was on you, even if his eyes weren’t.
"It fits the owner," you added with a small smile.
He let out a quiet laugh, a sound that was rare but warm. "Thanks," he said, his voice a little softer now, as if the tension from earlier had melted away.
"You don’t usually hang around after races," you said, turning your attention back to him.
He glanced at you briefly, a small smile tugging at the corner of his lips. "I guess tonight was different."
You tilted your head slightly, curious. "Different how?"
His smile deepened, but he didn’t answer right away. Instead, he shifted gears smoothly, the car responding instantly to his touch. "I think you know," he finally said, his tone leaving little doubt that his reason for sticking around had something to do with you.
That fluttering feeling in your chest returned, but this time, it wasn’t from the rush of the race or the chase—it was from him.
As the car cruised smoothly through the quiet streets, the earlier intensity of the night had faded into a calm, almost comfortable atmosphere between you and Nishimura. You found yourself feeling surprisingly at ease around him, despite the fact that, up until now, your interactions had been mostly limited to stolen glances and brief conversations.
"You know," he said, glancing over at you as you watched the city pass by through the window, "you don’t have to keep calling me Nishimura."
You blinked and turned to face him. "Oh, right. Is that too formal or something?"
He chuckled softly, shaking his head. "A bit. My friends call me Ni-ki."
"Ni-ki?" you repeated, testing the name on your lips.
"Yeah. I’d rather you call me that." His voice was casual, but there was something in the way he said it that felt personal, like he was inviting you into a closer circle.
"Alright, Ni-ki it is," you said, leaning back in your seat as you relaxed. "So, what do people usually call you if they’re not your friends?"
He smirked, his eyes flickering with a hint of amusement. "Depends. Usually something like ‘dangerous,’ or ‘the guy you don’t want to race .’" He glanced at you with a playful glint in his eyes. "But I’d like to think I’m pretty easygoing."
"Right," you said, raising an eyebrow. "You seem so easygoing with the way you handle a car at 100 miles per hour."
He laughed at that, the sound low and genuine, and for a moment, it felt like you were just two people hanging out—nothing more, nothing less. The conversation drifted from racing to random topics, a natural flow of words that felt effortless. He told you about the first time he ever drove a car, how he’d been obsessed with it ever since, and you shared a few stories of your own, mostly about how you had gotten into starting races.
At some point, you noticed the city lights getting closer and realized you were nearing your neighborhood. Ni-ki glanced at you, sensing it was time to ask the inevitable question.
"Where do you want me to drop you off?"
You gave him your address, and he nodded, making a smooth turn onto a quieter street as the roar of the engine softened. The car slowed to a stop outside your building, the night air still and quiet now that the chaos had long since passed. For a brief moment, neither of you said anything.
"Thanks for the ride," you finally said, unbuckling your seatbelt but not quite ready to leave just yet.
"No problem," he replied, his voice softer now, more personal in the quiet space between you.
You lingered for a second, unsure of what to say. Something about the night felt different—like it had marked the beginning of something, but you couldn’t quite put your finger on it. Ni-ki seemed to sense it too, the way he looked at you, his eyes lingering just a little longer.
"Take care," you said, finally breaking the silence.
"You too," he replied, his gaze never wavering. "See you around?"
"Yeah," you nodded, feeling a strange sense of anticipation that you couldn’t explain. "Definitely."
With one last glance, you stepped out of the car and closed the door behind you. As you walked toward your building, you couldn’t resist turning back for a quick look. Ni-ki was still there, watching you, and when your eyes met again, he flashed you a small, knowing smile before revving the engine.
Without another word, he sped off, the silver car disappearing into the night with a smooth, powerful roar.

The past month had been a whirlwind. Your schedule had spiraled into chaos, with personal commitments swallowing up all your free time. You hadn’t even thought about the races, let alone attended one. But finally, a weekend had opened up, and you felt a rush of excitement at the thought of getting back to the underground scene.
Your friend picked you up, their car bumping with bass as they pulled up to your place. You jumped in, the familiar thrill of anticipation bubbling up inside you. The ride was filled with chatter about the races you’d missed, and as you drove closer to the city, you could feel the energy in the air building.
When you arrived at the race area, it was alive with activity, the night sky illuminated by the glow of headlights and streetlights. Cars were parked everywhere, their owners mingling and showcasing their machines. The sound of engines revving and laughter filled the air, and for the first time in weeks, you felt like you could breathe.
As you wandered through the crowd, taking in the sights and sounds, you spotted Haruto leaning against a sleek, newly polished car. When he caught your eye, he grinned and pushed off the vehicle to approach you.
"How do you like the new car?" he called out as he got closer, his eyes sparkling with enthusiasm.
You stopped, admiring the vehicle as he gestured toward it. "When did you get this one?" you asked, genuinely curious about the flashy machine that had a glossy finish reflecting the neon lights around it.
"Got it last week," he replied proudly, running a hand over the hood. "Pretty ain’t she?"
"She?" You raised an eyebrow, teasing him. "You gendered it?"
He shrugged, a mischievous smile spreading across his face. "What? It just feels right. She’s got curves, you know?"
You rolled your eyes but couldn’t suppress a grin. "Sure, whatever you say, Romeo."
He laughed, shaking his head as you turned to walk away. "You wait until you see her in action! I’ll show you what she’s made of."
You waved him off, your eyes wandering as you continued to explore the scene. The adrenaline was intoxicating, the atmosphere buzzing with energy. You admired the different cars, from flashy sports models to classic muscle machines.
As you continued to roam the crowd, you felt the excitement in the air, but it was abruptly interrupted by a guy who stepped in front of you. He had an easy smile, but there was something off about the way he was looking at you.
"Hey there! What’s your name?" he asked, leaning slightly closer.
You raised an eyebrow, trying to gauge his intentions. "Not interested," you replied coolly, attempting to sidestep him.
He moved to block your path again, undeterred. "Come on, just a name. How about a number then? We could grab a drink later."
You shook your head firmly. "No thanks, I'm not interested."
His expression shifted, irritation creeping into his smile. "You sure? I could show you a good time," he said, stepping a little too close for comfort.
A sense of unease washed over you as his demeanor changed. "Back off," you warned, crossing your arms. But he didn’t take the hint; instead, he leaned in even closer, trying to assert his presence.
Just then, you felt a familiar presence behind you. A voice cut through the tension, deep and commanding. "She said no. You should listen."
Nishimura appeared, sliding a hand around your waist possessively. The gesture was both comforting and electrifying, and you could feel the shift in the atmosphere. The guy's expression turned from annoyance to fear as he realized who he was dealing with.
The guy hesitated for a moment, looking between the two of you, then backed off, hands raised in defeat. "Whatever, man. She’s not worth it anyway," he muttered before disappearing into the crowd.
You let out a breath you didn’t realize you were holding, turning to Ni-ki. "Thanks, but I had it under control," you said, attempting to downplay the situation.
He raised an eyebrow, concern etched across his face. "Didn’t look like it. I hate seeing people act like that."
You opened your mouth to argue, but the intensity of his gaze made you pause. There was something in the way he looked at you that made your heart race.
"I missed you," he said suddenly, his voice dropping to a softer tone. It was as if the words slipped out without him even realizing it.
The admission hung in the air between you, leaving you speechless. You blinked, taken aback by the unexpected vulnerability in his voice. You’d been excited to see him again, but hearing him say that made something inside you flutter.
"You… missed me?" you finally managed to stammer, your cheeks flushing slightly.
He looked a little sheepish, his usual confidence momentarily faltering. "Yeah, I mean—well, it’s been a month since I last saw you. Of course, I did," he replied, his tone shifting back to its usual nonchalance, but you could tell he was trying to cover up the slip.
"Right," you said, your mind racing. There was an undeniable connection sparking between you, and the thought of it made your heart race even faster.
The rest of the night unfolded in a whirlwind of adrenaline and excitement as you found yourself gravitating closer to Ni-ki. His presence felt like a shield, and you relished every moment spent by his side. Every time someone glanced your way with interest or a hint of aggression, you could feel his posture stiffen beside you, a silent warning in his gaze that made you feel protected.
─── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ──
One evening, as you both leaned against his car, the night air buzzing with anticipation for the upcoming races, he turned to you, his expression serious. “I have something to tell you,” he said, his voice steady yet laced with excitement.
You tilted your head, intrigued. “What is it?”
“I got scouted,” he announced, the corners of his mouth lifting into a smile. “They want me to race for them in Japan.”
Your heart skipped a beat, a rush of joy surging through you. “That’s amazing, Ni-ki! You deserve it! This is such a huge opportunity!” You couldn’t help but feel proud of him, your excitement bubbling over.
“Thanks! I’m really excited,” he said, his smile widening. Then, his expression shifted, and he looked at you earnestly. “And I want you to come with me.”
“What do you mean?” you asked, feeling a flutter of nerves and anticipation at the same time.
“I want you to be my starter full-time for all my races,” he clarified, his gaze intense as it locked onto yours. “I can’t imagine doing this without you by my side. You’ve been a huge part of my journey so far, and I want you to continue with me.”
Your heart raced at the thought, excitement and disbelief flooding your mind. “You really want me to come with you?”
“Absolutely. You know how much racing means to me. I need someone I trust out there, and that’s you,” he said, sincerity shining in his eyes.
“I’d love to, Ni-ki!”
His face broke into a wide grin, the kind that lit up his entire demeanor. “Really? You’re on board?”
“I’m absolutely on board! This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!” you exclaimed, your excitement bubbling over.
He stepped closer, his arms opening wide, and without hesitation, you jumped into his embrace.
“I can’t believe we’re doing this!” he said into your hair, his voice slightly muffled but filled with excitement. You felt his joy resonate through you, and it made your heart swell even more.
“I know! It’s unreal!” You pulled back slightly, your hands resting on his shoulders as you looked up into his eyes, both of you sharing that moment of exhilaration.
Ni-ki chuckled softly, still holding you close. “This is going to be amazing.”
You couldn’t help but smile at the thought.
He shook his head, a playful glint in his eyes. “We’re going to crush it together, right? You’ll be my lucky charm out there.”
You laughed, feeling a rush of determination at his words. “Absolutely.”
He grinned, his confidence infectious. “And I’ll make sure we leave them in the dust.”
─── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ──
When you arrived at Ni-ki’s place, you parked your car, and took a moment to admire the neighborhood. The sun was beginning to set, casting a warm glow over everything.
Walking toward the open garage door, your gaze drifted to his sleek car sitting in the center, the hood propped open and revealing the beautifully engineered engine underneath. It was like a masterpiece of machinery, glinting under the fluorescent lights.
“Ni-ki?” you called out, your voice echoing slightly in the spacious garage.
Suddenly, Ni-ki rolled out from underneath another car nearby, his face lighting up with a bright smile. “There you are!” he exclaimed, a hint of surprise and delight in his tone. He stood up, wiping his hands with a rag he pulled from his belt, the fabric stained with oil and grease.
You couldn’t help but widen your eyes, taking in the sight of him. He was wearing a pair of dirty overalls over a white tank top, which was now marred with grease and smudges. The way his muscles flexed as he worked on the cars made it hard to focus on anything else. “You work on the cars?” you asked, trying to divert your attention from how good he looked in that moment.
“Yeah, I like to tinker here and there,” he replied casually, picking up a tool from a nearby bench before rolling back under the car. “It’s kind of become a hobby!”
You hummed thoughtfully, walking around the car to get a better view of his progress. The vehicle was clearly totaled, having seen better days after a recent crash. Yet, you could see the way he meticulously worked to fix it up, and admiration swelled within you. “This one looks like it needs a lot of love,” you commented, kneeling down to peek under the car as well.
“It does, but I can fix it,” he said with a mix of confidence and determination. “It just takes time. Plus, I enjoy the challenge.”
“Have you always liked working on cars?” you asked, curiosity getting the better of you.
“Pretty much. My dad and I used to work on our old cars together when I was a kid,” he said, his voice slightly distant as if reminiscing about those moments. “I guess it stuck with me. It’s therapeutic, you know? Just me and the car, figuring things out.”
You nodded, understanding how those moments could mean so much. “It’s great to have a passion outside of racing. Do you have a dream car you want to work on one day?”
He paused for a moment, considering your question. “Definitely. I’d love to build a classic muscle car from the ground up one day. Something that turns heads and leaves a mark on the road.”
“Sounds like a plan,” you said, feeling a surge of inspiration at the thought of him chasing another dream. “I’d love to see that happen.”
Ni-ki rolled out from under the car again, this time standing up to face you fully. “You’ll be there to cheer me on, right?” he asked, his eyes sparkling with a hint of mischief.
“Always,” you promised, feeling a warmth spread through you.
He grinned and stepped closer, wiping his hands on his overalls again, though it only spread the grease around more. “Well, since you’re here, you can help me out! I need a second pair of hands to hold the engine cover while I fix this part.”
“Sure! What do I need to do?” you said eagerly.
“Just hold it steady while I tighten these bolts,” he instructed, moving back under the car again.
─── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ──
The days leading up to the race in Japan had been a whirlwind of excitement and adventure. Ni-ki showed you the sights of Tokyo, from the bustling streets of Shibuya to the tranquil gardens of the Imperial Palace.
As the day of the race approached, however, you noticed a shift in Ni-ki’s demeanor. He became quieter, more introspective, often staring off into space as if lost in his thoughts. You could see the weight of expectations resting heavily on his shoulders.
On the morning of the race, you found him sitting on the edge of his bed, his expression a mix of determination and anxiety. “Ni-ki,” you said softly, approaching him. “Are you okay?”
He sighed, running a hand through his hair. “I don’t know. I’m just nervous, you know? This is a big deal, and I really want to perform well.”
You sat beside him, placing a reassuring hand on his back. “You’ve worked so hard for this, and you’re more than ready. Just remember why you started racing in the first place.”
He nodded, but his gaze remained downcast. You took a deep breath, wanting to instill confidence in him. “You’re going to crush it out there, I know you will. Just focus on driving and trust yourself.”
As you spoke, you could see his tension slowly ease, the fire igniting in his eyes once more. “Thanks for always being here for me,” he said quietly.
Without thinking, you leaned in and pressed a soft kiss on his cheek. He blinked in surprise, his cheeks turning a deep shade of crimson. “Win for me, okay?” you said with a warm smile, and watched as his gaze hardened with resolve.
“I will,” he promised, the determination in his voice returning. You could see that your words had reignited the spark within him.
As night fell, you found yourselves in the car, cruising through the darkened streets of Tokyo. The city was alive with neon lights reflecting off the sleek surfaces of buildings, casting a colorful glow that seemed to pulse in rhythm with the hum of excitement in the air.
Ni-ki’s hands gripped the steering wheel with a newfound confidence, and as he navigated the winding roads, you could feel the adrenaline building between you. “Are you ready?” he asked, glancing over at you.
“I was born ready!” you replied, trying to keep the mood light, but the thrill of the moment was palpable.
He chuckled, a mischievous grin breaking through his earlier nerves. “That’s what I like to hear.”
As he drove, the anticipation grew heavier. You could almost taste the excitement as you approached the race venue, the sounds of revving engines and cheering crowds growing louder. You felt a surge of pride knowing you’d be right by his side, supporting him through every twist and turn of the race.
“Just remember,” you said, leaning closer as he focused on the road, “no matter what happens out there, you’ve got this."
His expression softened, and he turned to meet your gaze. “Thanks for believing in me. It means everything.”
You smiled, feeling a warmth spread through you. “Always, Ni-ki."
─── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ──
You strolled around the venue, feeling a mix of excitement and nerves. The high-end cars gleamed under the bright lights, each one more stunning than the last. You took your time admiring the sleek designs and intricate details.
Trying to immerse yourself in the culture, you remembered some of the Japanese phrases Ni-ki had taught you during your flight. You approached a group of racers and smiled, offering compliments. While some responded with smiles and nods, others seemed confused, and you quickly realized that your limited vocabulary wasn’t enough to keep the conversations going.
As you wandered, you eventually found yourself standing alone, lost in thought about the upcoming race, when a tall guy approached you with a smirk. He started speaking rapidly in Japanese, gesturing animatedly, but you could only catch bits and pieces.
“Sorry” you said, apologizing. “I don’t understand," you added, hoping he would take the hint and leave you alone.
Instead, his expression darkened, and he leaned closer, his voice becoming more aggressive as he pressed you with questions you couldn’t comprehend. When he reached out and grabbed your wrist, panic surged through you, and you instinctively pulled away. However, his grip was too tight, and the pressure made you wince.
Just then, you heard a familiar voice cut through the commotion. “Hey! Get away from her!” Ni-ki stormed in, eyes blazing with anger as he pulled you behind him, creating a protective barrier.
The guy hesitated, then turned to Ni-ki, their eyes locking as they began to argue back and forth in rapid Japanese. You couldn’t follow their exchange, but the intensity of the situation was palpable. You rubbed your wrist, still feeling the remnants of the man’s grip as you looked from Ni-ki to the guy, who had turned an alarming shade of red, clearly taken aback by Ni-ki`s arrival.
Finally, Ni-ki turned away from the confrontation and guided you toward his car, his grip firm but gentle on your shoulder. “Come on,” he said, urgency in his tone.
“What? What happened?” you asked, bewildered, still trying to process everything.
“I’m racing,” he replied shortly, his eyes focused ahead as he led you toward his Mitsubishi.
“Against who?” you asked, glancing back at the guy, who was now standing there with a scowl, his earlier bravado deflated.
“Against the creep,” Ni-ki answered, anger simmering beneath his calm exterior.
Your heart raced at the thought. “Wait, Ni-ki, you don’t have to do this! It’s not worth it.”
He shot you a determined look, his jaw set. “I know. But he can’t just treat you like that. This isn’t just about racing; it’s about respect.”
You swallowed hard, realizing how serious he was. As he climbed into the driver’s seat, you took a moment to collect yourself, grateful for his protective instincts. “Are you sure you’re okay to race right now?” you asked, concern lacing your voice.
He turned to you, his expression softening just a fraction. “I’m fine. I just need to focus. You’ll be right here, right?”
“Of course,” you replied, forcing a smile to reassure him, even though you were still rattled by the encounter.
You took a deep breath, standing between Ni-ki's sleek Mitsubishi and the other guy's car—a flashy, souped-up Honda that glinted under the neon lights. Your heart raced, a mix of excitement and anxiety coursing through you. You could feel the energy in the air, thick with anticipation as both drivers revved their engines, the deep growl echoing around you.
"Are you guys ready?" you called out, trying to maintain your composure as you pointed toward both cars. Ni-ki shot you a confident nod, his eyes locked on the road ahead. The other driver, still wearing a cocky grin, gave you a thumbs-up.
As the cars revved louder, you turned your gaze to a guy standing nearby, holding a walkie-talkie. He was scanning the area, and when he got the go-ahead that the police were nowhere in sight, he shot you a thumbs-up.
Your pulse quickened at the sight, and you felt a rush of adrenaline. You lifted the flag high, your heart pounding in your chest, and with a swift motion, you waved it down. "Go!" you shouted, your voice carrying over the roar of the engines.
Both cars shot off the line, tires screeching as they sped into the dark streets of Tokyo. You watched as they darted away, the headlights illuminating the path ahead like shooting stars against the night sky. The ground trembled beneath your feet from the sheer power of the vehicles, and you could almost feel the adrenaline pumping through your veins as the excitement enveloped you.
─── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ──
Ni-ki gripped the steering wheel tightly, adrenaline coursing through his veins as he and the other driver raced side by side through the neon-lit streets of Tokyo. He could feel the intensity radiating from the other car, a flashy Honda that kept trying to tip him off balance.
“Come on, you think you can take me out?” he muttered under his breath, his eyes locked on the road ahead. The guy was aggressive, swerving dangerously close and attempting to nudge him off course. Ni-ki remained focused, expertly maneuvering around the obstacles in his path.
He drifted into a turn, the tires screeching against the asphalt as he counter-steered and weaved through the traffic. Cars honked and swerved, their drivers caught off guard by the reckless speed of the two racers. The other driver tried to play dirty, attempting to crash into Ni-ki's rear, but Ni-ki was prepared for it. He kept his cool, steering away just in time and cutting in front of the guy as they barreled through a narrow alleyway.
“Not today,” he said through gritted teeth, determination fueling every decision he made.
Out of the corner of his eye, Ni-ki noticed a police car trailing behind them, its sirens blaring loudly. His heart dropped as he glanced in the rearview mirror, the flashing lights reflecting the urgency of the situation. “No, no, no,” he repeated, frustration rising within him. He couldn’t let himself get caught—not after everything they had worked for.
The other driver seemed to notice the approaching officer as well, and in a desperate attempt to throw Ni-ki off his game, he swerved dangerously close, trying to shove Niki into the path of the police car. Ni-ki's heart raced as he saw the cop trying to close the gap, the pressure mounting.
With quick reflexes, Ni-ki shifted gears and accelerated, pushing his car to its limits as he turned sharply to avoid a collision. He felt the weight of the Honda trying to force him into a corner, but he countered with another drift, keeping his grip tight on the wheel. The other driver, frustrated and reckless, made a final lunge for Ni-ki's car, but in the process, he miscalculated.
Ni-ki watched as the guy’s car collided with the police vehicle, the impact sending both cars spinning. Metal crunched, and he could hear the screeching of tires against pavement. Ni-ki couldn’t help but glance back, disbelief washing over him as he saw the police car crash into a row of parked cars, sending them crashing into one another like dominoes.
“Holy—” he breathed, shaking his head. The guy had gone too far. He took a moment to process the chaos, his heart still racing, but he knew he couldn’t dwell on it. The adrenaline and excitement of the race was intoxicating, and he had to keep his head in the game.
Ni-ki refocused on the road ahead, determination burning in his chest. He could see the finish line in the distance, the crowd gathering, their cheers a distant roar that urged him forward. With one final surge of speed, he pressed down on the accelerator, feeling the power of the car respond instantly. He was going to win this race—not just for himself, but for you, the one waiting at the finish line.
As he crossed the line, the cheers of the crowd erupted around him, the thrill of victory washing over him like a wave. But even in that moment, he knew he had to keep his cool and stay grounded. After all, he was racing not just against the clock, but against chaos itself.
As Ni-ki crossed the finish line, the exhilaration of victory pulsed through him. He could hardly contain his excitement as he slammed the brakes, his Mitsubishi screeching to a halt. The roar of the crowd enveloped him, a wave of adrenaline and triumph crashing over him like a tidal wave. He hopped out of the car, his heart racing not just from the race but from the sight of you waiting at the finish line, a wide smile on your face.
“Did you see that?” he exclaimed, his eyes sparkling with joy as he bounded over to you. He pulled you into a tight embrace, lifting you off your feet for a moment. The thrill of the win felt amplified with you by his side, and he couldn't help but bask in the warmth of your presence.
“I did! You were amazing!” you replied, laughter bubbling from your lips as he set you down.
“Just doing what I do best,” he said with a playful smirk, rubbing the back of his neck in a show of modesty. But the pride in his eyes was unmistakable. He took a moment to soak it all in, the cheers of the crowd ringing in his ears, but it was your smile that made his heart swell with happiness.
As the crowd surged around him, eager to congratulate the victor, Ni-ki turned back to you, his expression softening. “You know, I couldn’t have done it without you,” he said, sincerity lacing his words. “You were my good luck charm.”
Your cheeks flushed at his compliment, and you felt a surge of pride wash over you. “I’ll be your good luck charm any day,” you teased, poking him playfully in the side.
The celebration continued around you, people shouting his name and clapping him on the back. Ni-ki basked in the glory, but even as the crowd cheered and celebrated, his eyes kept darting back to you, finding comfort in your presence.
From then, every race he entered seemed to follow the same pattern. Each time, he emerged victorious, his confidence soaring with each win.
─── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ──
Laying on the hood of Ni-ki's car, the warmth of the metal beneath you was comforting as the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a golden glow over the city. The vibrant hues of orange and pink painted the sky, creating a perfect backdrop for the moment you both shared. You leaned into Ni-ki, feeling the steady rhythm of his heartbeat against your side, and you couldn't help but smile as you glanced up at him.
Ni-ki's gaze was fixed on you, his eyes shimmering with a mix of happiness and something deeper—something that made your heart flutter.
As you exchanged shy glances, the atmosphere shifted. The distance between you disappeared, and suddenly, you found yourselves inching closer together. Your heart raced, a mix of anticipation and excitement coursing through you as he brushed a strand of hair behind your ear.
“Hey,” he said softly, his voice low and tender.
“Hey,” you replied, your voice barely above a whisper.
In that moment, everything felt perfect. You both leaned in, your lips meeting in a gentle kiss. It started soft and sweet, but as Ni-ki pulled you closer, deepening the kiss, it became something more. His hands slid around your waist, anchoring you to him as you melted against him, losing yourself in the warmth of his embrace.
You could feel his heart racing against your chest, mirroring the excitement and passion that filled the air around you.
As the kiss grew more passionate, you felt Ni-ki’s fingers thread through your hair, pulling you even closer. You sighed against him, savoring the moment, the thrill of it all—this incredible connection that had blossomed between you.
Finally, you pulled away, both of you breathless and smiling like fools, your foreheads resting against each other.
“You have no idea how long I’ve wanted to do that,” he admitted, his cheeks tinged with a faint blush.
“Oh, really?” you teased, a playful glint in your eyes. “You seemed pretty good at racing; I thought you’d be good at kissing too.”
Ni-ki chuckled, shaking his head. “I’m still figuring out this whole romance thing. But with you? It just feels right.”
Your heart swelled at his words, and you couldn’t help but lean in for another quick kiss. The sun had fully set now, leaving a blanket of stars shimmering overhead, but the warmth of the moment lingered.

Hsr characters in a Soulmate au
Tumblr media
warnings: sunday backstory, implied Gopher Wood being a bad father (Sunday), implied stellaron hunter Sunday, discrimination (aventurine, not said by reader), debt (aventurine), firefly backstory, 2.0-2.2 penacony spoilers
characters: Sunday, Aventurine, Firefly
a/n: it's so obvious who's my #1 fav in this
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sunday: writing
Throughout the world, everyone had the ability to communicate to their soulmates through writing on their own skin.
Sunday doesn't remember much about his childhood. His home-world was entrenched in war. The only constant in his life was his own sister, and the strange symbols on his wrists.
After being taken in by Gopher Wood, he would be taught that those symbols were words, and they came from his Soulmate. Excitedly, he'd take to the books to communicate with the person on the other end. At first it was little doodles, then broken sentences, and then full on conversations.
He wrote about his sister, the charmony dove, music and literature. One day, the writing stopped. You'd jot down messages in concern, so worried to the point your hand writing looked like illegible scribbles. He never did tell you his name after all.
After years, finally you got a response.
'Meet me at Dreamflux Reef, here, at 8 pm.' You couldn't help but notice that your soulmate's penmanship had improved after all these years. The once poor excuse for cursive wasn't just printed letters attached to one another, but font-like in it's neatness with broad loops. Despite the brief words written on your skin, your stomach rolled. Was it nerves or excitement?
There was a little hand-drawn map, taking up a portion of your forearm, with an 'X' on the location. You approached the streetlight ahead of you. It was five minutes before 8 pm, at the exact area he told you to be at.
There was somebody there. In the darkness, it was hard to see. The streetlight offered little brightness. Just a faint glow upon whoever it was. They were clearly halovian, a light bounced off their halo, providing a shine in your line of sight. Contrarily, they stood in dark clothes. And seemed to be fidgeting...as if waiting for someone.
As if on cue, the figure straightens up and turns to look at you. Those grey feathers and yellow eyes were unmistakable.
"Mr. Sunday?" The man hasn't been seen since the Order was chased out of Penacony.
"I didn't expect you to show up early," Sunday gives a halfhearted chuckle, then he calls your name, "you are them, right?"
"Yes, but-" You look towards your arm where the writing is located.
He sighs and shakes his head, "I...I'm the one who's been writing to you all these years." Sunday lifts his sleeve, on it is your reply to him, asking where he's been, and saying you'd be there.
Your soulmate was Sunday. The former head of the Oak Family. An MIA criminal. But also your childhood friend, who you never met.
There was so much to say, but the only thing you could think to ask was, "Why? You've been gone for so long..."
"I'm sorry. My fa-the dream master, prevented me from reaching out to you. He wanted me to be 'the chosen one' for The Order. I'm sorry that it took so long for me to-"
Gently, you put your arms around him.
"I was so worried. Please, talk to me. About everything."
He would, but now, all he wanted to do was rest in your embrace.
Aventurine: eye color
Everyone has one of their eyes the same eye color as their soulmate’s, until they meet.
It’s something that’s so arbitrary and meaningless to most people. There are only so many colors in the universe after all. But not yours.
“Sigonian.” Disdain.
“Poor child.” Pity.
“Whoever your soulmate is, you’re better off not meeting them.” Disgust.
Sigonia. A far off planet somewhere in the galaxy. Lightyears away. Where a people known for their unique eyes resides. Or used to reside.
Looking into the mirror, your right eye looks back at you, it’s a purple tinged with blue. You wonder what your soulmate’s would’ve looked like. You’ve long since accepted that any possible soulmate would’ve died years ago. Not even baseless rumors could settle any feelings of loss.
Knock Knock
Debt collectors.
The gentle knocks turn into bangs. The person standing outside takes a full walk around your house, peering inside any windows in search of you. The IPC was relentless when it came to debt. They'd make constant calls, tell your neighbors, blackmail their debtors, tack on more and more money, all to collect as much money as possible.
Just as your nerves calm down your phone rings. It's from a family member.
"Hello?"
"Hello, I'm calling from the IPC." That's not them. The voice is male with a smoothness to his voice. He disguised his number.
Just when you're about to hang up, "Don't hang up yet, I have a proposition for you." He instructs you to open the door.
You follow his instructions. Each step you make, the pit in your stomach gets wider. The door creeks as you turn the knob.
Two purple eyes, with a blue ring around the pupil. Sigonian. His eyes mirror your right one. But, within his reflection you see your own two regular colored eyes. Wait-
The man's mouth drops in shock, but instantly pulls into a grin. He hangs up the call.
"I see what's going on here. This time, the charge is on me," Aventurine insists. He's covered in designer clothing from head to toe, with golden rings lining each finger. You know right then and there that anything you say will get you nowhere. You're just glad he seems to be on your side.
"...Thank you."
"Mmm, but I never said it was without recompense." Shit. "In return, I'll provide you with a better place to live. This place is a bit...run down," he takes a glance around your home, and you can't help but feel embarrassed.
"Thank you, Aventurine, but that just sounds like I'll be in your debt."
He waves you off. "Debt? No, friend. What kind of partner would I be to let my soulmate fend for themselves?"
Firefly : timer
Every person across the galaxy has a timer leading up to the meeting of their soulmate.
4,000 years. Approximately 35,040,000 hours.
That was what Firefly had.
When she first awoke in her incubation chamber, it felt like she could wait forever. Their purpose was to devote their entire being to Glamoth. She did not dream. Not of the warmth of someone’s hands in theirs. Not of someone telling her that she was more. That was not a right of a weapon.
Yet, under the ashen sky and fields of smoke, not a single light shone through. Glamoth would never see the sun again. That was no place for a firefly.
For the last time she broke all protocol.
They unfurled their wings and chased the light. Finally, Unit AR-26710’s heart fluttered for a purpose that wouldn’t destroy.
24 hours = 1,440 minutes = 86,400 seconds.
They’d be landing in Penacony soon. She looked at her wrist, where the countdown was located. 1 day. She could feel her heart beat in her throat; she was so nervous.
Love. Kafka taught her that emotion. She’d never felt it before. Not that way.
Her eyes never left the window.
5 minutes = 300 seconds.
299, 298, 297, 296… Thinking in seconds was faster than minutes. It made time go faster. Minutes felt like eternity.
120, 119, 118, 117… Were they standing in the same area? Could she be looking at them right now? How far apart were they? Would they be tall or short? Would they be the time to put milk before cereal? Would they even like her?
10, 9, 8, 7… She watched the time tick away. She didn’t dare to look up least she burn up from the inside. It felt like her propulsion accidentally activated.
4, 3, 2, 1—
A figure crashed into her from behind. “I’m so sorry!”
0
She turned to look, and there you were. Yet, there was no celebration like she imagined. No hugging. No holding each other in an embrace. Instead, your face was pulled into grimace. Your arm gently interlocking with hers. Your posture was tight and hunched. All the signs of an uneasy person. Two Bloodhound members trailed after you.
“Did we do something wrong?” Firefly moved to stand in front of you
“That’s classified information,” one of the bloodhound guards say, gaze shifting off to look at you.
“I really didn’t do anything.” You look at Firefly with a pleading look.
The girl looks back at you and nods. She grabs your hand, the one the countdown is located on and charges for the alleys.
You hear the slap of their shoes against the concrete. The hurried pants of the guards. The footsteps behind you get louder and closer. In spite of the danger, all you can think about is the girl whose fingers are intertwined with yours. It brings a rush to your cheeks that only a breeze can soothe.
When your soulmate rounds the corner of the alley, her warm hand laced with yours turn a cold metallic. Her other hand placed around the small of your back in support. The suit of the armor is cold against your skin, but there’s a heat that radiates from the chest of the mech. It soothes your nerves. The lack of heat from her hand interlocked with yours may be replaced, but it was welcome.
When she unwraps her wings from behind her suit, a warm air erupts around you. Suddenly, you’re in the sky. The wind ruffles your hair, but you can’t bring yourself to care. Not when it dawns on you that you’re in your soulmate’s arms.
‘How would the other hunters react if they knew she blew her cover? Kafka was definitely going to tease her."

I've been reading all your recent Shadow fics and they're all SO CUTE!!! It makes me so happy to see where Shadow sort of gets to have a second chance with a new Maria, one where he can keep them safe. I was wondering though, how do you think he would react if they dyed red streaks into their hair to look like him?
Red Hair Dye
pairings: Shadow the Hedgehog x reader (platonic)
warnings: none
summary: after a trip to the store you see a hair dye that reminds you of your favorite little hedgehog
a/n: hey guys sorry i was gone this week, school started back up so slow updates and i just went through a break up so just taking things slow, here's your request tysm for your patience! (This reminds me of when I had pink highlights 😭)
Tumblr media
The store was quiet, it was late so it wasn't very strange. You walked through the aisles, looking at all its contents. It was a small corner store no more then a 3 minute walk from your place. Light jazz music played as beeping of machines echoed through the front of the store.
You stopped in the hair dye section, taking a look at all the colors, thinking which one you liked best, not that you were sure you were even going to dye your hair. Until you spotted it, a crimson red hair dye that looked like it was on sale.
Pausing, you stared at it a bit before ultimately picking it up. You looked at the brand, knowing it was a trust worthy one when it came to hair damage and color, so without a second thought you quickly shoved it into your basket before continuing to browse a bit more.
The trip was short lived and quickly you found yourself rushing to your bathroom, excited to try the new color you'd bought. Shadow was somewhere about but didn't seem to try and find you, seemingly hearing your rush to reach the bathroom, almost paying no mind to it.
Opening the box you grabbed everything inside, basically dumping it out onto your sink as you sorted through it. The instructions were simple, so you just went with the flow, prepping your hair and sectioning it the way you wanted.
After your hair was ready, you started to mix some of the paint, making sure to add the right amount of color so that it would be bright enough on your hair. After a bit of mixing you grabbed the small brush that came in the box, as well as the gloves. You slipped the gloves on slowly and started to apply the red.
It was a tiring process, taking you over 20 minutes to finally finish. By that point your arms were tired from being held up so long. Swiftly you exhaled and sat down against the wall, making sure your hair wasn't messed up.
A small knock interrupted your waiting. You slightly opened the door, not realizing how strong the smell of paint truly was, as the hedgehog took a quick step back, his nose scrunching.
"What are you doing?" He asked, arms crossed, not being able to fully see you as you hid behind the door, wanting to keep the hair a surprise.
You let out a small chuckle before playfully responding, "It's a secret," Shadow just gave a small sigh, knowing you wouldn't tell him till later with that type of answer.
"Don't take long then" Shadow said before turning away, probably going to go sit in your room, although he'd never say it he found comfort around you more then he did most. It was nice to be special.
You closed the door quickly, and sat in the bathroom a bit longer, waiting at least 30 minutes so that the dye would set. Shadow found it a bit annoying at how long you were taking and he was very curious as to what exactly that smell was, it was like chemicals. Maybe you were cleaning, but the more Shadow thought the more he knew it would not be cleaning.
You took a quick shower, the water was cold to make sure not a lot of dye left your hair. Once you were done the bathroom was a red mess that you'd hope would be able to come off later.
Drying yourself and changing you put on some of the lasting products in the box which were supposed to make the dye last longer as you fixed your hair, excited to show Shadow the result.
Walking towards your room you found Shadow on the edge of your bed, his arms still crossed and his posture straight as he kept his gaze steady on the novela in front of him. His eyes quickly changed over to you as he saw you enter, the first thing that caught his attention though was your hair.
It looked like you had red highlights in your hair, he was shocked to see your new look.
"I thought we could match!" You cheerfully said making your way over to him as he saw bits of red.
He let out a small huff of approval, "It looks nice," He now stood up, as you sat on the ground taking in the sight.
"So you like the emo highlights?" You jokingly asked him, knowing how Sonic and his friends had called him the emo hedgehog before.
Shadow just gave you a straight face before walking past you and out your door.
Quickly you sprung to your feet, apologizing as you followed him out, "I was kidding come back!"

A soft and gentle Hawaiian breeze filtered through the open windows of the Airbnb, carrying with it the salty scent of the ocean and the distant sound of waves crashing onto the shore. The golden sunlight filtered into the bathroom where you stood, brushing the last bit of blush on your cheeks as you prepared for the day. It was only the second morning of your vacation in Hawaii, but already you could feel a deep sense of peace and contentment.
Through the thin walls, you could hear the soft murmur of conversation from the living room, where Drew was keeping your son, Rustyn, entertained. At only two years old, Rustyn had a way of commanding attention wherever he went. His bright, inquisitive mind and sweet nature often left you in awe, as he continuously found ways to make everyone around him feel special. Whether it was a loving compliment or a random fun fact he had picked up from one of his many TV shows, Rustyn always knew how to leave an impression.
Just as you were finishing up your makeup, you heard a light knock on the bathroom door, and soon a small voice called out.
“Mommy, can I come in?”
The door creaked open, revealing Rustyn standing in the doorway, his big blue eyes peeking up at you with admiration. He walked inside, his little feet padding across the tiled floor, his excitement for the day evident in the way he carried himself.
“Mommy, you look beautiful today,” Rustyn said, his tiny voice full of awe, as if he couldn’t believe how lucky he was to have such a pretty mom.
You felt your heart swell with love, as it always did when Rustyn offered these sweet compliments. Leaning down, you scooped him up into your arms and pressed a kiss to his forehead.
“Thank you, sweetheart,” you said, smiling into his soft curls. “You’re so sweet.”
Just then, Drew appeared at the doorway with a grin on his face. He leaned against the doorframe casually, his eyes soft as he looked at the two of you. “Rustyn’s right, you know. Mommy always looks pretty.”
You smiled at Drew, warmth flooding your chest at the sight of him standing there, his playful charm radiating through his teasing words. Even after all this time, Drew still had a way of making you feel like the most beautiful woman in the world.
“Oh, stop it, you two,” you said with a laugh, setting Rustyn down as you finished gathering your things.
“You’re so special to me, Mommy,” Rustyn added sweetly, wrapping his arms around your neck with a big hug as if to emphasize just how much he loved you.
From the living room, you could hear Todd and Jodi’s soft “aww” as they watched Rustyn’s display of affection. His grandparents were always so proud of how kind-hearted and loving he was. Every little word Rustyn said seemed to have the power to melt hearts. You smiled to yourself, grateful for the love that surrounded your family.
“Okay, okay,” you said with a grin, ruffling Rustyn’s hair. “Let’s go get some breakfast. Are you ready for a fun day, baby?”
Rustyn nodded enthusiastically, his little face lighting up. “Yeah, Mommy! I wanna go see fishy!”
Drew chuckled as he grabbed the car keys. “Alright, let’s get going, then.”
As you walked out of the Airbnb, the sun kissed your skin, and the smell of the ocean surrounded you. You couldn’t help but feel incredibly lucky to be spending this time with your little family and Drew’s parents, siblings. The connection between all of you felt so strong, and you knew Rustyn was growing up surrounded by so much love from everyone around him.
Once everyone had gathered their things, Drew packed up the rental car, making sure Rustyn was safely strapped into his car seat before helping you into the front passenger seat. Todd and Jodi settled into the back, chatting softly about the day ahead. The air was filled with the warmth of a family vacation—easy-going, full of laughter, and stress-free.
Drew started the car, glancing over at you with a soft smile before shifting his attention to the road. “So, what are we thinking for breakfast? Pancakes for Rustyn, or something more adventurous?”
You laughed. “Rustyn could eat pancakes every day if we let him.”
From the back seat, Todd chuckled, “The kid has good taste.”
As the car rolled down the scenic coastal road, the windows open to let the cool breeze in, Rustyn began his usual habit of filling the car with his boundless curiosity.
“Mommy, did you know that dolphins are really smart?” he asked from his car seat, his little legs kicking back and forth as he peered out the window.
You turned slightly in your seat, smiling at him. “Oh yeah? How smart are they?”
Rustyn’s face scrunched up in thought as if he was recalling one of the many nature shows he loved to watch. “They can talk to each other with squeaks!”
“That’s right, baby,” you said, nodding in encouragement. “Dolphins are very smart.”
Drew glanced in the rearview mirror, clearly amused. “What else do you know about dolphins, Rusty?”
Rustyn continued excitedly. “And turtles! Turtles can live for a really, really long time—like, a hundred years!”
Todd, sitting in the back, grinned and leaned forward slightly. “Is that so, Rusty? You’re a walking encyclopedia, aren’t you?”
Rustyn beamed at the praise, clearly proud of himself. “I know lots of things!”
Jodi chimed in with a warm smile. “You sure do, sweet boy. Maybe you’ll be a marine biologist one day.”
Rustyn seemed to like the sound of that. “What’s that?”
“It’s someone who studies ocean animals, like dolphins and turtles,” you explained, watching as his eyes lit up with interest.
“Yeah! I wanna be a marine… biologist!” Rustyn said, his face scrunching up as he tried to say the word correctly.
The entire car burst into laughter, everyone already so charmed by Rustyn’s enthusiasm for life. Drew reached and squeezed your hand, a gesture of shared pride in your little boy.
“He’s going to do great things,” Drew said softly, his voice filled with love as he looked back at Rustyn, who was now babbling happily about his future ocean adventures.
When you arrived at the breakfast spot—a quaint beachside cafe with a view of the ocean—you saw that Drew’s siblings, Logan, Brooke, and McKayla, were already there, waiting for you all at a large outdoor table. The sea breeze was refreshing, and the early morning sunlight cast a warm, golden glow over everything.
Brooke was the first to spot you, waving you all over with a grin. “Finally! We thought you guys were never going to show up.”
“Sorry, Rustyn had to give us a marine biology lesson on the way here,” Drew said with a chuckle as he approached the table.
Logan laughed, reaching down to high-five Rustyn, who was already eager to share more of his newfound knowledge. “Rusty, my man! What did you teach them this time?”
“Turtles can live for a hundred years!” Rustyn declared proudly, his chest puffing out with pride.
McKayla smiled fondly at her nephew, reaching over to ruffle his hair. “Well, look at you, little genius.”
The conversation flowed easily as everyone sat down, catching up with each other and enjoying the relaxed vibe of the island. Drew’s family was always warm and welcoming, and it felt so natural to be surrounded by them. Rustyn, ever the center of attention, charmed everyone with his sweet compliments and random facts, making sure to tell each person at the table how much he loved them.
At one point, as you waited for the food to arrive, a couple sitting nearby noticed Drew. They exchanged nervous glances before hesitantly approaching the table.
“Hi, sorry to interrupt,” the woman said, clearly excited but trying to be respectful. “We’re big fans of your work, Drew. Could we get a picture?”
Drew smiled kindly, ever gracious with his fans. “Of course. No problem.”
As he stood up to take the picture with the couple, Rustyn watched intently from his seat, his little face full of curiosity. As soon as Drew finished and the couple thanked him, Rustyn piped up loudly, his voice full of pride.
“I’m a big fan of my Dada too!”
Everyone, including the couple, burst out laughing at Rustyn’s unexpected but adorable declaration. Drew’s face flushed slightly as he reached down to ruffle Rustyn’s hair, clearly touched by his son’s words.
“You’re too much, bud,” Drew said with a smile, leaning down to kiss the top of Rustyn’s head.
The rest of breakfast was filled with more laughter, light teasing, and stories of the adventures everyone had planned for the day. Rustyn, always the star of the show, kept everyone entertained with his endless questions and sweet declarations of love for his family.
After breakfast, you all decided to spend the rest of the day at the beach. The sun was shining brightly, and the water looked impossibly inviting. Rustyn could hardly contain his excitement as you, Drew, and his siblings set up camp with a large umbrella and a pile of beach towels.
Rustyn tugged at your hand, his little face filled with anticipation. “Mommy, can we go swimming now?”
You smiled, squeezing his hand. “Of course, sweetie. Let’s go!”
Drew grinned as he helped Rustyn into his floaties before scooping him up and carrying him toward the water. “Let’s see what you’ve got, buddy.”
As soon as the cool ocean water lapped at your feet, Rustyn let out an excited squeal, splashing around with glee. Drew, ever the playful dad, lifted him high into the air before gently dunking him into the water, making Rustyn giggle uncontrollably.
After a while of swimming, you decided to take a break and build a sandcastle with Rustyn. The two of you sat side by side in the soft sand, gathering buckets of wet sand while Drew stayed in the water with Logan and McKayla. You helped Rustyn carefully pack the sand into a tower, guiding his small hands to shape the castle.
“Mommy, look! I found a shell!” Rustyn exclaimed, holding up a small white seashell he had discovered buried in the sand.
“That’s perfect, Rusty! We can put it right here,” you said, showing him where to place it on the sandcastle.
Drew, having spotted the two of you from the water, made his way back to the shore and dropped down beside you. “How’s the sandcastle coming along?”
Rustyn looked up at him with a big grin. “Good, Dada! We found a shell for it.”
Drew nodded appreciatively, leaning in to examine the shell. “Wow, you and Mommy are making quite the masterpiece.”
You chuckled, brushing some sand off your hands as you admired the nearly finished sandcastle. “He’s a natural builder.”
After a few more minutes of playing in the sand, you leaned in close to Rustyn and whispered, “Hey, baby, can Mommy have a kiss?”
Rustyn nodded, but instead of leaning in for a kiss himself, he had a different idea. With a mischievous grin, he grabbed both your face and Drew’s, pulling you two together with surprising force. He giggled, clearly wanting his parents to kiss each other.
Drew let out a soft laugh, his blue eyes twinkling with affection as he looked at you. “Looks like someone’s playing matchmaker,” he said with a teasing grin.
You smiled back, your heart swelling with love as you leaned in to kiss Drew. It was a soft, tender kiss, made even sweeter by the fact that Rustyn had initiated it. When you pulled away, Drew still had that fond, loving look in his eyes.
“You’ve got good ideas, Rusty,” Drew said, ruffling his son’s hair.
Rustyn giggled happily. “You’re supposed to kiss! It makes you happy!”
Drew chuckled, pulling you both in for a group hug. “Yeah, bud, it really does.”
As the day wound down, the entire family gathered under the umbrella, lounging on towels and sipping on cold drinks. Brooke and McKayla had picked up fresh coconuts from a nearby vendor, passing them around as everyone settled in to enjoy the sunset.
Logan and Todd were still determined to outdo each other in their impromptu sandcastle competition, while Jodi sat back, laughing at their antics.
Rustyn, now thoroughly exhausted from the day’s activities, snuggled into your lap, his little eyes drooping as he fought off sleep. You brushed a hand through his soft hair, smiling down at him as he yawned.
Drew, sitting beside you, wrapped an arm around your shoulders, pulling you close as the two of you watched the sun slowly sink below the horizon, painting the sky in hues of pink and orange.
“This was a perfect day,” you whispered, leaning your head on Drew’s shoulder.
Drew smiled, pressing a soft kiss to the top of your head. “Yeah, it really was.”
Rustyn, half-asleep now he’s laying on your chest, murmured softly. “Love you, Mommy. Love you, Dada.”
Your heart melted at his words, and you looked down at him with a smile, your love for him overflowing. “We love you too, baby,” you whispered back, pressing a kiss to his forehead.
As the last rays of sunlight disappeared over the horizon, you felt a deep sense of contentment wash over you. The love you felt for Drew, for Rustyn, and for the family surrounding you, was all you needed. This was your perfect moment—a moment filled with love, laughter, and the warmth of your little family.

Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(GIF by me!)
🐝 ~ Awh tysmm!! So glad you like my writing :3 I was stumped with a lot of characters for this one, so I only did 5, I hope that’s ok!<3
Fic includes: What the female cast of arcane would get you for your birthday<3
Warnings: none, but def a lil favoritism on Maddie’s :3
Genre: fluff (modern!au)
Characters: Vi, Maddie, Caitlyn, Jinx, Sevika
♡ ~ Fem!reader - she/her prns used for r - wlw
Tumblr media
Vi
✧.* She would get you something super special along with something silly.
✧.* Vi doesn’t like getting too sappy about things, but she’ll put her heart and soul into her gift.
✧.* On your special day, she hands you a poorly wrapped gift with a small doodle of the two of you holding hands.
✧.* She isn’t the best at gift wrapping, but she tired her best to make it look nice- Even put a little bow on top<3
You hold the box in your hands, a look of excitement present on your face as you carefully open the gift. You find a cute bundle of some of your favorite things, things she knew meant a lot to you- Even one of those cute heart locket necklaces with one of your favorite photos together. Just as you were gonna gush about how thankful you were for the gift, you notice one last thing.
With steady hands, you move the other items out to reveal a bear stuffy with Vi’s face plastered on it. A look of surprise and amusement comes to your face while holding the little bear. Vi’s loud laughter could be heard soon after, nudging you affectionately and flashing you a bright smile.
“So… do you like it?”
-
Maddie Nolan
✧.* Maddie is nervous that you wouldn’t like her gift. She made sure everything was as perfect as can be, anything for her love!
✧.* She’ll go around to her friends asking for their opinions on what she had made for you. “Do ye think she’ll like it? I hope it’s good enough- I just want her to be happy, ye ken?”
✧.* The girl cares for you so deeply. She’s excited for your birthday in general, practically a bomb waiting to explode from excitement.
✧.* She also pours all of her love into a sweet card for you, and of course an adorable drawing of your favorite animal on the front of it.
“Awh… Maddie, can’t believe you made all this for me- I love it so much!”
Maddie smiles, her hand scratching at the back of her neck bashfully- she was so happy you liked it. Your voice was like music to her ears, she could watch you open gifts all day. The way your eyes crinkle when smiling, your cute smile lines-
“Mads, you ok?”
The girl snapped out of her thoughts as she heard your voice, you speaking to her directly. Maddie nodded, sitting down on the edge of your bed.
“Y-yeah! ‘M fine, I’m glad ye like it. Does it fit?”
You look at yourself in the mirror, wearing the shirt and hair accessory that Maddie had made for you. You had no idea that Maddie was so good at sewing, you were pleasantly surprised.
“It’s perfect.<3”
-
Caitlyn Kiramman
✧.* If you didn’t think that Caitlyn would know what you want for your birthday, think again.
✧.* She may be a bit awkward when actually giving you the gift, but really- She’s so excited to see your reaction.
✧.* Be prepared to be flabbergasted with the most well written card you probably have ever read- Ever.
Caitlyn smiles as she watches you read her card. The look on your face was to die for, you were clearly touched by Caitlyn’s passionate writing.
“Thank you so much, Cait..”
The soft murmur of your voice reached Caitlyn’s ears, she smile growing as she glanced away, trying to not show how affected by you she truly is.
“I’m glad you like it, I did get it in your favorite color, right?”
“Yes, you did- Don’t worry, silly.”
You spoke reassuringly to your girlfriend as you went to sit beside her, holding the pair of headphones in your favorite color.
-
Jinx
✧.* Homemade!
✧.* Her whole gift is homemade, everything wrapped in a colorful blanket that has a cute design painted on it… Just for you<3
✧.* Oh yeah, there is definitely glitter in that thing.
“Tadaaaa~! Whatcha think, toots?”
Jinx spoke in a cheerful manner, looking at you excitedly- Waiting for a reaction.
You sat there covered in glitter, a dumbfounded expression on your face… The initial shock of glitter getting all over you eventually fades into a smile.
“I love it, Jinx. You’re so talented~”
You say affectionately, giving a soft kiss to Jinx’s cheek.
-
Sevika
✧.* Like Caitlyn, she’s a little awkward when giving gifts. Maybe even seeming a little too nonchalant.
✧.* But we both know on the inside, she’s over the moon happy to be able to celebrate your birthday.
“Sevika- this is so sweet, I had no idea you knew how to make paper roses~”
Sevika rolls her eyes at your teasing, leaning back on the couch with a small huff, her hand resting on your thigh affectionately. She had gotten you one of the Lego flower sets, a few paper roses and of course a small card. Whether you like Lego’s or not, it’s fun to build it with her.
“Wanna build the Legos now, or later?” (She won’t admit she’s kinda excited to build legos with you.)

18+. mdni. smut. breeding kink if you squint! exhusband!eddie
part two to yours, forever! i truly believe they would have three sons and one little girl that comes after r’s second divorce🤭 the p3 to this is my favourite however, i have some pornstar!eddie is reallyyyy want to get out before it’s posted hehe. pls ignore any mistakes i am so tired
. ݁₊ ⊹ . ݁˖ . ݁
eddie hadn’t ever lied about you still being the only woman in his life, he’d dated around after the divorce but had never, ever found anyone that came close to you.
he does suppose that you were together for fourteen years. he feels like at that point, you were stuck together for life.
and yet, he can’t fucking wait.
sat on one of wayne’s loungers just waiting for you to walk through that gate and spot her.
he’d sorta been seeing ashley for the past couple months or so, mostly just hooking up during those dry spells where you were content with your marriage.
wayne’s annual barbecue was coming up and so he’d had the bright idea to ask her along, truthfully just to get you talking to him again.
nice girl, pretty too but he knew you’d be furious.
the kids bounce through the yard first, barely saying hi to eddie first before clambering on top of wayne as they usually did.
you shuffle through next, the far-too-short dress sitting just around your thighs, a blatant attempt at garnering his attention. though you were no match for him, eddie had the petty game nailed down since 1998. from the moment you’d handed him those divorce papers, he’d taken it upon himself to piss you off as much as humanly possible.
you haven’t realised yet, made obvious by the wide smile on your face. giving half-assed hugs to the various members of his family that sprawled around the garden, waiting for him last.
but you don’t hug him, standing in front of the lounge chair with a frown, looking his outfit up and down. “i didn’t realise you were coming,” you quip.
fucking lie.
your dress wouldn’t have been half as revealing if you’d actually thought he wasn’t going to be here.
eddie scoffs, sitting up in his chair, “why wouldn’t i be?” cocking his head to the side, waiting for the perfect moment to introduce ashley.
“oh i don’t know, thought you’d be too busy pretending you can play guitar,” shrugging sweetly, but not backing off.
his eyes narrow, biting his tongue to unleash the true beast, “have you met ashley?” gesturing towards the young blonde with a side smirk from hell, “she’s been so excited to meet the kids!”
your brows furrow, lip curling in disgust. he loves even more that you don’t try to hide it, practically retching in front of her face.
sharp eyes flicker over to her, “nice to meet you.. ashley,” but your hand doesn’t extend for her to shake, instead you flounce off without waiting for her reply.
“dave not here?” eddie jeers, holding the cool bottle of beer just before his snarling lips.
“he’s at work,” you snap back, “you know what that is?” snarky in all your glory, sitting on the furthest, most opposite chair you could find.
that’s alright, he can almost see right up your dress from here, purposely no doubt.
wayne must have found that hilarious, bursting into a maniacal laughter, never on the side of his own flesh and blood.
pfft.
whatever.
it wouldn’t be long before your dress was bunched up against your hips and-
“-eddie?” ashley barks from beside, snapping him out of maladaptive wet daydream, “can you show me the bathroom?” batting her eyelashes.
holy fuck. the regret of ever inviting her had began to seep in, because in actuality, it had done absolutely nothing worthwhile in making you jealous.
he nods, concealing the annoyance on his face by clearing his throat, guiding the poor girl past his relatives judging eyes and into the house.
she grabs ahold of his hand, trying to pull him into the bathroom alongside of her. blinking rapidly when he stays put.
“my kids are here,” he whispers, yanking his hand back, “i really can’t,” he could, he had a hundred times. just not with her.
she pouts, dropping her shoulders in a huff, quickly pulling the door closed as eddie rushes off outside again. he couldn’t have you thinking he was screwing around with her now.
your eyes follow him from the door to his seat, wayne leaning over to whisper not-so-quietly about him.
he can read something along the lines of midlife crisis, wayne’s bellowing laugh after pretty much solidifies that theory. eddie’d be much more angry if he didn’t find it so endearing, wayne loved you more than eddie did, he was certain of that.
wayne pats your shoulder before sending a sharp glance at eddie, a warning sign he’d seen, and ignored, many a times.
-
an hour of meaningless banter and fake affection later, eddie finds his opportunity.
you had disappeared off under the guise of helping in the kitchen, but he knows it’s an invite of sorts. you weren’t as nonchalant as you thought you were, sliding your gaze over his and then immediately at the open door.
a blind man could’ve picked up on that for christ sake.
he saunters off through the door, no doubt you were in there messing about with the salads or doing the dishes like you normally did. the garden is too loud for anyone to realise anyway, he figures he’s got a good fifteen minutes before anyone questions where you’ve both gone.
you glance up at him walking through the door but choose not to speak, plating up the anaemic looking potato salad his aunt had made.
“you not speaking to me today?” standing on the opposite side of the island, picking at the bowl of chips.
“i have nothing to say to you,” turning up your nose to continue dumping the grey slop into a bowl.
“that’s a lie,” eddie chuckles, leaning over the marbled counter, “i know you have loads of things you want to say to me today.”
you look up briefly, staring daggers into his soul, “why don’t you go back outside with your little girlfriend and leave me alone?”
eddie sighs rather sarcastically, “one, not my girlfriend and two, i’d rather be in here with you,” walking his fingers over the counter towards you.
you scoff, but he knows you’re not serious because if you were, you’d have thrown the spoon at his head and laughed as it got tangled in his curls.
“c’mon,” he beckons, nodding towards the stairs.
when wayne had announced that he’d be selling the trailer in favour of a house, eddie think he physically jumped for joy.
living with wayne and a pregnant you in that tiny metal box had began to drive him utterly insane, especially once wayne had retired and he had an approximate five minute window to have sex every day.
you glance out of the window, making sure that no one would follow you up the stairs, before sighing and begrudgingly trailing behind him.
“don’t worry, they won’t even notice,” slipping into the box room and shutting the door as discreetly as possible.
to be honest, you’d lived in this room just as long as he had, it was yours as much as it was his. some of your posters still stay stuck to the walls, pictures of the two of you that you’d framed still linger.
eddie waits with baited breath for you to start, prepared for the inevitable rant that was just bubbling to fall out of your lips.
you stand poised at the other side for he room, hands on hips, ready to scold, “you’re seriously pathetic if you think bringing some kid would make me jealous,” clicking your tongue against your teeth, eyes flicking up and down his casual stature.
there it is.
the tirade of insults he’s been waiting for all night.
“i fucking knew that’d work,” guffawing loudly, “you’re so angry and i love it,” swigging his beer with far too much confidence.
“i’m not angry, i’m disgusted. there’s a difference,” crossing your arms firmly over your chest.
“oh please,” rolling his eyes, “you’re married for fuck sake,” placing the bottle on his old dresser, the fun was just about to begin.
“yeah. i am,” you nod, the deep furrow of your brow only exciting him further, “to someone my own age, not some fucking teenager.”
“she’s twenty three, actually,” in such a matter-of-fact tone that it makes you seethe, launching forward to twist his collar between your fingers.
“you disgust me,” eyes like slits and a snarl that some rottweilers would be jealous of.
“isn’t it a bit late for you to start lying like this?” a heavy hand meets your back, pressing your body into his as your heartbeats collide.
“fuck you,” moving forward to connect your lips the same time he does, an angry battle that consists of guttural growls and an animalistic need to dominate the kiss.
“just ask me next time sweets,” grabby with his hands as they get comfy on your hips, performing a waltz around the tiny bedroom floor to lie your body sideward on the edge of the bed, legs wrapping tight around his back.
“everyone’s here,” you breathe, glancing warily towards the window, “what if they hear?”
“pssht, not like we’ve never done this before,”
this bedroom had once witnessed the most explicit things all the while wayne was downstairs and hopefully oblivious.
eddie’s hand glides over your thigh and under your dress, lifting higher until it’s bunched up at your hips, just as he’d pictured.
“wear these for me?” he remarks, hooking his fingers into the waistband of your deliberately worn lacy panties.
“mhm,” lifting your hips as they come down, hanging off of your ankle.
he breaks apart for what feels like too long, rushing to get his belt unbuckled and his jeans down, before hoisting your calves onto his shoulder, your knees damn near touching your ears as he comes down on top.
“jesus christ eds, i’m not twenty five anymore,” gripping onto his forearm for leverage.
eddie scoffs, running the leaking head of his cock from your clit to your hole, delighted with the way you shiver and whine.
he sighs as his cock slides in, taking one last glance at the window, he wouldn’t last long anyway, not in this position.
“fuucking hell,” you breathe, tightening your grip on his quivering arms, letting your eyes fall shut.
he’s messy, sloppy in the way his hips move, pressed flat against your glistening cunt. if this didn’t get you pregnant, he gives up.
“i like it when you’re jealous,” he pants, brushing the stray strands of hair from your sticky forehead to get a good glimpse of your fluttering eyes.
your nails dig further into his skin, it’d probably hurt if he weren’t balls deep inside of you, “fuck off,” your insults punctuated by the slick sounds of your body’s meeting.
he moves slow, grunting each time his tip nudges against your sweet spot. fuck. the downright pornographic noises of your pussy wrapped him makes him animalistic with need.
schlickschlickschlick in time with the old mattress and his balls slapping against your ass.
your hands move up above your head, helplessly grabbing at the blanket, fingers untwining in the fabric.
“ohmygod yes,” head thrown back against the mattress, seemingly no longer bothered about the family gathering just outside.
despite being an incoherent babbling mess, your eyes meet his, “don’t.. ever bring her here again,” your whines becoming too loud to hear your words clearly.
eddie slaps his palm over your drooling mouth, but he nods, more than happy to comply if it meant he could fuck you like this every time.
“only did it.. to make you jealous,” losing his momentum, the churning in his stomach becoming too much to carry on.
you’re too fucked out to reply, whimpering into his palm, the bedsheets twisted between your fingertips. if no one had heard you, it would be nothing short of a miracle, your gasps only partly muffled by his hand.
you clench around his cock, calves trembling upon his skin while your hips move on their own, cumming around his cock, his sweaty palm working overtime to silence your loud mouth.
eddie doesn’t last much longer, biting down onto his lower lip so he doesn’t alert the whole house to your precarious position.
he’s shaking, collapsing on top of you as his seed paints your walls, saying a silent prayer that this time is the time.
“oh.. fuck,” he heaves, sloppily pumping his hips into your leaking cunt before pulling out completely, well aware that you had ran over the fifteen minute allotted time slot he had given you.
wayne would have noticed a whole ten minutes ago, surely waiting to make his snarky comments.
he lets go of your mouth, pressing a quick kiss to your lips before getting up and as a gentleman does, slides your panties back up and your skirt down.
it filled eddie with far too much satisfaction to know you’d have to walk downstairs with a skewed walk and a pussy full of his cum, everybody else none the wiser.
“don’t walk down together,” you bite, running frantic fingers through your unkempt hair, attempting to clean the smudged outline of your lipstick.
“nobody’s gonna care,” re-buttoning his jeans as he takes a smug sip of warm beer.
you spin on your heel, shooting daggers at his grinning eyes, “your girlfriend might,” and with that you’re gone, slipping out of the door in a cloud of tangled hair and creased fabric.
god, he loves you.
far more than should be allowed for two people who are divorced.
it was wise for you to go down first, you were a much better liar than eddie ever was.
he makes a slow walk downstairs, his belt clinking rather conspicuously as he pulls it tight.
wayne stands in the shadows at the bottom, waiting until he’s close to make him piss his pants before speaking, “i don’t even wanna know,” shaking his head at his petulant nephew, “don’t ever leave me with that girl again,” a warning, but his eyes are soft, almost cracking as the pieces click into place in his brain.
“i wasn’t.. i didn’t do anything,” but his twitching lips give him away, “and i’m gonna take her home, don’t worry,” trying to shuffle past wayne unscathed.
his uncle reaches out, smearing his thumb across eddie’s chin, “you left your fuckin’ lipstick on, dumbass,” only half-disappointed in his nephew, because eddie, and everybody out in that garden knows wayne’d be the first person to celebrate the two of you getting back together.
he, rather unsuccessfully, suppresses his grin, walking into the kitchen like he was the luckiest man alive.
you stand at the counter, back to him, poking holes into juice boxes, your hair a sudden nest and your dress sitting higher than it had before. anyone would think you’d been doing something you shouldn’t.
he slides up right behind you, “i’m gonna go take her home.. are you staying?” hand threatening to creep under your dress again.
“yeah, we’ll be here,” you confirm without ever looking up.
“i’ll come back then,” he didn’t want to be here without you, you’d done these things as a pair for long that it felt disrespectful to ever entertain the idea of doing it alone.
as he turns, he meets wayne’s eye who had either been stood watching the entire time or had only seen his hand grab your ass, either way it wasn’t great.
his uncle’s eyes say enough, silent in both their judgement and approval.
eddie shrugs, walking back into the garden with a terribly hidden smirk and a sickening excitement to get back and see you again.
