I went to a birthday party yesterday partly to "change environment" and spend time with people, but I came home antsier than ever and with even less desire to socialize
I guess part of therapy is learning how to see the line between "stepping outside of the comfort zone to improve" and "harming yourself"
#vent#some parts were my fault and some were theirs#i knew only a few people and others were strangers who wanted to know me#when they asked about my life i managed to impress them with my weightlifting competitions and i was happy#but then that one asshole was like 'oh i left you that you were studying did you finish?'#and there i am lying again#no i didn't look for jobs in my area. i'm lying leave me alone :^)#also i don't know what the fuck is wrong with some guys there#there's one who a few weeks ago insisted on playing matchmaker with me and another guy (who wasn't there yesterday)#dude didn't even know if i had a bf#and yesterday not only he was there keeping the game but another guy started to jokingly flirt with me????#touching my shoulder because 'you're cool' (as in not hot)#and at one point hugging and giving me a peck on the cheek?#no one said anything but bro whomst the fuck are you i met you today???#stop putting me under the spotlight please#no no no no i need to recover it was a mistake#i feel guilty because i can tell they wanted to include me and i appreciate it#i live my life with the assumption that no one cares about me especially irl#but this is too much i can't do it

This is the only thing I’m going to say on the matter of Neil Gaiman for now:
The accusations against him are awful. If they are true, I wish the victims nothing but the best. I am not going to speculate about whether or not they’re true, because that would be incredibly disrespectful. What I am going to do is wait until we have more information before saying anything definitive. Because from my understanding (and correct me if i’m wrong,) this information is coming from a single true crime podcast that almost no one has actually listened to in full, and that does not seem like an incredibly reliable source of information. I am not defending Neil in any way here, but I do think it’s important to always take the time to gather information from multiple sources, *especially* with something as serious as this.
Also, if you’re one of the people going “oh no what does this mean for Good Omens season 3??” Literally shut the fuck up, put your phone down, and go outside. That is not even remotely important right now and it’s an incredibly insensitive and tone-deaf thing to say.
EDIT 8/2/24 (Because Tumblr decided this should be the top post on my page.) There are now several people who have listened to the podcasts in full and publicly posted all the info from them. I’d encourage everyone to read at least one of those posts (preferably more than one, everyone is biased in one way or another) and make up your mind from there, not from the hundreds of posts paraphrasing and doing the whole “well I heard from this person who heard from this person who heard from this person” thing. Also, while I haven’t looked into this much myself, I’ve heard other people are coming forward with accusations against him.

i love the interpretations of Any of the pines being trans but to me mabel and dipper Are fraternal twins they are just also both trans. they just swapped names and ‘pretended’ to be the other. i know dipper being transmasc is like the most popular trans hc in the fandom, so to me this is why dipper’s name is mason but he always wanted the name tyrone

i just remembered that canonically, sirius got to godrics hollow after hagrid.
which means that after he had his godson taken away from him (bc lbr that’s exactly what hagrid and dumbledore’s orders basically did) then he went into the house and saw james and lily’s dead bodies alone. no buffer in the form of harry crying out for his parents or even the godfatherly instinct of making sure his kid is alright.
he was there, with his brother and friend’s cooking body, all alone. stewing in grief and pain and rage and guilt. ALONE.
do we even know how long he was there? for all we know, he could’ve been catatonic right there besides james all day.
