i need people to recognise that while osha was/is emotionally repressed, that doesn't mean she's innately passive in her personality?? passivity is forced upon her by other characters (primarily sol and the jedi) but since she was a kid she expressed a desire for action and adventure - she was the one sneaking out of the fortress to the bunta tree, desiring her own life outside of the coven and her relationship with mae, drawn to the jedi and their lightsabers, and even when she leaves the jedi order, she doesn't exactly settle down somewhere quiet but goes to the other end of the galaxy and takes up a dangerous mechanic job that's only legal for droids to do while hopping from ship to ship and getting tattoos on drunk nights out with her crew? even in episode five with yord trying to haul her back to the ship, she doesn't exactly go completely willing (sol has to force push her into yord!) and is then the one that convinces yord to go back (💀), and she also immediately latches onto the idea of rejoining the jedi when she thinks sol is offering that at the beginning of episode four, and once she does know the truth, she instinctively force choked sol and bled his lightsaber (even anakin needed more convincing/encouragement to go dark side than she did)
mae comes across are more active/aggressive because she's more emotionally open/driven and has the truth that osha does not (that sol killed their mother) so is therefore incredibly motivated by that truth and desire for revenge/justice - but she's also the one that was comfortable and content with her life in the coven, that seemed to only need osha in her life, that didn't like osha sneaking out of the fortress, that seemed to flourish under the coven's teachings whereas osha chafed against it, doesn't actually seem to like conflict all that much considering how quickly she's willing to give herself up to the jedi once she knows osha is alive and then when she seems content for sol's punishment to be facing the high council/the republic, she seems surprised when she succeeds in killing indara and then doesn't kill the shopkeep alien even though that'd likely (and does) make things harder for her, offers torbin the option of going to the council or taking the poison, and doesn't even kill kelnecca or sol, and generally is clearly not all that committed to the dark side/sith stuff qimir's trying to teach her and spends episode five running from him/pleading for her life over trying to fight him (in comparison osha manages to (temporarily) defeat him by siccing giant bat moths on him)
they're both more complicated than they might appear on the surface!!

what do you of "the man who sold the world" for fallenleaf? friend is getting me into nirvana and i cant do anything without thinking of the Beasts
Hmm... honestly? I think it fits other characters much better!
Man Who Sold The World always reads to me as like... a dangerous character, could be a demon, could be an evil parent, could be a more literal villain in some kind of story, who has unambiguously gotten its ass kicked and banished. In its defeat, it realizes that it can turn it around; by trying to convince one of their Victims to join them.
And succeeding.
(and it's why Nirvana's version is my favorite, Cobain's voice is just the right amount of hoarse that makes me feel like the Victim Character has lost a lot of sleep over it. Vulnerable and open to the offer of the Villain, possibly on the brink of desperation in their own life. It has that sort of angsty-young-adult madness that makes choosing bad decisions sooo much easier. Bowie's and Ure's versions are also fantastic, but imo they're a lot more dreamlike, like the victim is being more entranced than convinced!)
The song isn't about breaking out of that cycle. It's about "laughing and shaking his hand," returning home almost unaware of any change. But over many years, in tiny little ways that add up into even bigger ones, slowly the Victim becomes another man who sold the world.
They doesn't even realize when they died alone along their quest, just that it must have been long, long ago.
Some of that fits Fallenleaf, but it's not quite the same vibe. She killed Ashfur in revenge. She sought out Sol and took his deal for power, and tried to kill her own brother. She subjugated an entire Ancient Lake society-- and the only thing she can really blame Sol for is how it got bored of her and kicked her out of her own body.
Those were things she did. And they're things she lives with. Trickery was less a part of it than she might have wanted to believe at some point in her long, guilty life.
NATURALLY I'm inspired by Cheecat's really great animation they made with Brambleclaw and Tigerstar, and I think it fits Tigerstar to a T, but who I always think of is Hawkfrost.
Especially in BB, where RiverClan raised him to lean into his legacy. Not Clanborn, from a young age he had to work twice as hard, prove that he and his sister were "worth" keeping around, told that they were only protected by that diluted Tigerkin blood that trickles through their veins and that Tigerstar was an ideal to live up to...
Only the thinnest veneers of, "Be what he was, without his flaws" to hold him back from fully adopting everything his father ever stood for. A father he never met, who hurt his mother, who killed and traumatized countless clanmates.
And then Hawkfrost sees him. The song kicks in. "I thought you died alone, a long long time ago."
"Not me. I never lost control." It means that those "flaws," they weren't so bad. "You're face to face with the man who sold the world" and I can teach you the value of that.
He leaves that exchange feeling warm. "I laughed and shook his hand." He goes through the destruction of the forest (looking for form), the great journey (and land), and eventually finds himself in all the conflicts of TNP. No one knows at what point he stopped being the noble young warrior who stood up for Reedpaw against his tormenters, or when wanting to protect his sister became abuse and belittling.
But at some point, he died alone, long before his heart stopped beating on that stake.
He ends up in the Dark Forest with his father, preparing for the change that's coming in OotS, but not by the end of the song. At the end of the song his father has successfully dragged him down to his level, singing the same tune, trying to pretend that his dad getting him pointlessly shish-kebabed for a petty personal dispute wasn't a critical L to the chest.

Okay, okay. I have thoughts (and feelings) on this latest episode of The Acolyte. (And no, this is not another post on Manny Jacinto’s arms…even though 👀😮‍💨🥵).
This is the first episode since the first one that I can unequivocally (except for one aspect) say that I really liked. Where has this level of dialogue and character insight been the entire show!?
Manny continues to take the starring role in the show as The Stranger. I’m seriously in awe of how compelling his performance is, how effortless he’s making it feel between all the switches of his personality—hungover, drifting bum, to terrifying dark side user with chilling morals, to a calm, quiet, perfectly in control man who knows who he is and what he wants, what he’s capable of, and what the emotions of those around him are.
He and Sol have switched places this episode just as much as Osha and Mae have. Sol is unsettled, anxious, lost in tortuous thoughts of the past. So much so that he doesn’t recognize that Mae has boarded the ship with him instead of Osha for (an agonizingly) long time. He starts to feel more like a villain when he finally figures out that Mae has tricked him, binds her, and then hovers over her menacingly after she wakes up. He’s becoming unhinged and going rogue, even making sure that they leave the planet and that Vernestra cannot track him because he wants to go retrieve Osha alone. Why? What is he hiding??
I’ll go ahead and do my quick gripe with the episode here. I like Amandla’s performance as Osha. I really can’t get into her performance for Mae. Osha feels transparent in her mental state and desires and motivations throughout the show. Mae is very difficult to get a read on, and I don’t mean that that is a bad thing when it comes to storytelling. I mean that it’s not working here. She’s gone back and forth like ten times in the last two episodes alone, wanting to compete her mission, then wanting to abandon it and turn herself into the Jedi so she can be with Osha, then fighting Jecki, then running from Qimir, then seemingly picking up the mission again so she can kill Sol, then not, then reprogramming her sister’s droid in a very callous manner, then somehow knowing enough about ships that she can work with the power systems (which is her sister’s area of expertise, not hers)….it just doesn’t work for me.
I also think that Sol took too long to recognize her. I’ll give him the getting onto the ship and trying to get a message out bc his emotions are a wreck. But he should have noticed after that. I also think Basil is completely unnecessary as a character. Sorry.
Anyway, back to Osha and Qimir. It’s a classic dark side seduction unfolding (I cracked up at the “if you’re not going to join me”), but Manny is oh so convincing about it. We know as the audience that everything he tells Osha is a half truth. It’s interesting to see how both the Jedi and the Sith in this show are kind of dealing with a half truth in how they are using the Force and teaching others. But it’s still very convincing, because he’s really not fueling it with overly grand promises or even his own ulterior motives, though he does have them. He’s simply telling Osha what his version of the truth is. What his experiences have been. And how he thinks they overlap with hers.
The dialogue is wonderful. A great example of how monologuing to give us info we don’t already have can actually work sometimes (looking at you, Ahsoka show). The line “why do you love people who can only go so far” was a standout for me. Again, not the accurate truth, but definitely a “from a certain point of view”. Sol also reiterates that Osha’s main characteristic has been love. So what is going to make her turn away from that? Anger? Feeling abandoned? Feeling guilty? Pinning an objectively hot Sith to a wall with his own lightsaber? SORRY. Sorry. 🤣🤣🤣. Really loved the “when you lose everything, that’s when you’re finally free” too, as well as “it’s just you and the Force. And what you bring with you.”
The fact that Qimir was a Jedi and might be much older than we expect is very interesting. I know very little about the Sith timeline from Legends, other than seeing names float about (Revan, Tenebrous, Plageous, etc). I’m interested to see which named Sith they might slot Qimir in with, or if they’re going to keep him completely separate from the main Sith line. He definitely does want to be a part of it though, given his “power of two” comment. A discarded apprentice who seeks his own apprentice to gain power, not unlike one fandom favorite Maul, perhaps?
I also liked Vernestra in this episode. I got a little better read on her character in a short time and loved seeing her speed in the Force using her light whip. It’s fascinating seeing her padawan be just as uptight and questioning as Jecki and Yord were…almost like this whole generation of padawans will grow up to be the masters who train the masters we see in TPM. What I would still like to understand better is why there seems to be such a split between the generations here. What outside or internal factors are influencing this? All they’ve shown is still is wanting to keep the senate and the council on good terms, but we don’t know why.
(Side note: Her Universe or someone definitely needs to make the open shoulder sweatshirt Osha was wearing.)
If the whole show had been like this I would appreciate it a lot. As is I think I’ll enjoy where they’re taking us but not necessarily how we got there. Hopefully the last two episodes will keep up the momentum.

Batman: The Animated Series - Paper Cut-Out Portraits and Profiles
The Valestra Crime Family
Once the most powerful and prominent gangster in Gotham City, Salvatore Valestra ruled the city's underworld with an iron-fist. About a year before Batman first appeared in Gotham, Valestra loaned money to the businessman Carl Beaumont. It was a loan Beaumont defaulted on, ultimately leading to Beaumont fleeing the country.  Beaumont’s daughter, Andrea had become engaged to Bruce Wayne yet she broke off the engagement to go into hiding with her father.
Valestra managed to hunt down Beaumont when his location in Europe was leaked to him by Beaumont’s former assistant, Arthur Reeves.  Valestra sent his top hit-man, a young and sadistic killer named Jack Napier to take out Beaumont.
Years later, Valestra’s grip on power in Gotham began to wane as he was edged out by newer mobsters, such as Rupert Thorne, The Penguin and Two-Face.  Furthermore, his health was failing as a lifetime of cigaret smoking had resulted in severe emphysema.  It was at this time that Andrea returned to Gotham seeking revenge for her father.  Andrea had donned the disguise of The Phantasm and she murdered Valestra’s chief-lieutenants Chuckie Sol and Buzz Bronski.
Fearing that he would be next, Valestra sought out the help of Arthur Reeves who had become a powerful figure in the Gotham Political scene.  Reeves now had eyes on the mayor’s office and had no interest in helping the aged mobster.  To the contrary, Reeves hoped that Valestra would be taken out, thus severing the last tie connecting him to the crime family.
Desperate, Velestra turned to his former button-man, Napier, who had gone on to become  the villain known as The Joker.  A fatal mistake in that The Joker killed Valestra with his Joker toxin and used his corpse as bait to draw out Batman and The Phantasm for a final confrontation.
Actor Abe Vigoda provided the voice for Valestra; with John P. Ryan voicing Buzz Bronsky, Dick Miller voicing Chuckie Sol and Hart Bochner provided the voice for Arthur Reeves.  The mob family appeared in the animated feature, ‘Batman: Mask of The Phantasm.’

Three more AUs! @the-cryptid-moth asked for TransF!Sunstar+Jake, @quaelgeist333 pondered SolTree, and a Galaxy Brain Anon requested NightSquirrel in a specific scenario!
In the first AU, Jake learns about the clans from his neighbor Pine, and when Pine passes Jake decides to let the Clan know. He politely asks to meet the leader, and boy is she pretty - but Jake has a mission. After he tells Sunstar about the death of her predecessor, he asks if there’s anything he can do to help - he’s not Clan, but his momma would be cross with him if he didn’t even ask. Sunstar ends up showing him the herbs, and for moons after, small bundles of medicine, scraps of cloth for bandages, and feathers for the kits will appear on the border. Eventually, Sunstar invites him in, and he joins, bringing his abandoned kit Tiny with him. Jake ends up being a better father figure to the emotional Tigerpaw.
In the next AU, Harry has tried so hard to be a good warrior, and has failed every time. Leafstar refuses to give up on him, and with time and patience, he becomes an excellent tracker, if still a somewhat poor hunter - he hunts on the buddy system, leading a clanmate to the prey, for them to catch. He requests the name change at his Warrior Ceremony, based on a dream he had of the sun rising on him. Later, when Darktail shows up, Sol’s skills lead to Darktail being outed as a villain. While this saves many clanmates, Skyclan is still pushed out. On their way to the clans, Sol literally runs into Tree. They bond over originally not being wanted, and Sol politely asks Leafstar to consider a new clanmate. Their kit Spireroot has a romance with a Thunderclan molly, leading to grandkits.
In the last AU, Nightcloud, an albino loner kit saved by the clan, does not get into a relationship with Crowfeather. Specifically because Crow goes to Riverclan with his half-clan mollyfriend, where they have Breezepelt. She makes friends with the rambunctious orange molly from Thunderclan, and is the first to defend her when Hollyleaf announces her true parentage - Leafpool and Hawkfrost! The pair become close, mourning the loss of Hollyleaf and celebrating her return, and dirt-talk about Brambleclaw. Nightcloud is stunned when she is asked to be deputy. When the Great Battle happens, Onestar falls. And when Hawkfrost tries to kill his blood daughter, her true father drags him down, dying together. As Firestar passes, he gives the leadership to his kit, trusting her loyalty. Nightstar and Squirrelstar are close, and a few will note that Squirrelstar’s litter highly resemble Nightstar, and that they often visit Windclan…

Thoughts from episode 5 rewatch:
- I didn’t talk about this because I was distracted by the deaths/Manny Jacinto reveal but I LOVE the way this opened, with quiet dread, and then the distant sound of the fight becoming clearer as Osha moved closer to them and found out what was going on
- some stuff made more sense on the rewatch (I’m surprised at the level of rewatch value, even past Disney+ series I’ve mostly enjoyed I’ve never felt the draw to rewatch, I’ve already seen every episode twice, and the flashback thrice). Just because I JUST saw this critique when I opened the ‘for you’ tab (why can’t I quit doing that I wish I could just remove it as an option): Sol’s line about not attacking the unarmed is NOT meant as a dig at any past canon events…..he’s drawing Qimir’s attention away so Osha can sneak attack him with Pip’s light to draw the moths to him. I missed it the first time and was confused, the second (when you’re not reeling) it’s fairly obvious
- Which does also mean I have to rescind my ‘it seems like they’re all guilty of attacking the unarmed’, I’m back to thinking Indara might have killed Mother Aniseya (but she probably didn’t consider Aniseya unarmed due to her magic)
- also a point of defence against all the people who agree with Qimir’s ‘you brought her here’ line: others have noted that Jecki seems the only one ‘on task’ capturing Mae, and there’s a gap of time before Sol rejoins the fray, I think it’s fair to assume he got her out of the line of fire and instructed her to get Mae and wait. (The Star Wars fandom’s ability to look at lines spoken by clear villains and be like ‘is this objective truth’ never fails to be hilarious)
- speaking of Jecki: jokes about how we got Fallen Star’d aside, we are still in Path of Deceit territory. I think people got lulled into ‘no they’re not going to kill the cute alien kid’. Oh no. They’ll kill the cute alien kid. They’ve done it before and even more brutally. They’ll probably do it again. (Kevmo’s entire character is just ‘adorably earnest teenager with an absolutely pure love of everything and everyone around him’ and he gets a graphic, drawn out, horrible death. I was braced.) (I hope I’m selling you all on the books, they’re agony, it’s great)

This is a weird question (borderline fanfiction) but, hypothetically, Asuka places the Flame of Corruption inside someone else. Do you think anything would happen?
Like, would a normal human explode? If you gave it to someone like Sin, would he change into a different sort of creature than a quarter Gear?
I feel like, if you gave the FoC to someone like Dizzy, depending on why she has it (like if it’s a comedic omake or the serious plot of the Conclave) she would either seriously downplay it or she would be completely overwhelmed. I say downplay as an option for comedy because it feels like her whole thing is being casually overwhelming.
It would go really, really, badly. The Flame of Corruption wants to destroy everything around it all of the time, without mercy. Sol talks about it in Xrd at least once and through most of Begin too, even though he's not entirely sure what's going on. Asuka decided to put the FoC in Frederick specifically because I think he knew that Frederick would be the only person that could resist it long enough to find a way to make it bearable to live with (ie, the limiter headband). So if the FoC got put into almost anyone else, they'd probably become the next villain of the series. They'd be like Justice if Justice was the Tasmanian Devil with nuclear napalm arms sent Beyblade-ing out into the world.
If Dizzy, Sin, Ky, or Jack-O' were given the Flame of Corruption it would cause an Absolute World, a mass extinction event, because they all have/have part of the Scales of Juno. When the Scales and the Flame meet, since they're opposing yet similar forces, they react like oil and water. An Absolute World is the brief merging of our reality with the Backyard. There have been five Absolute Worlds and they're the same in Guilty Gear as they are in real life:
End Ordovician (444 million years ago; mya)
Late Devonian (360 mya)
End Permian (250 mya)
End Triassic (200 mya)
End Cretaceous (65 mya) – the event that killed off the dinosaurs. source: Wikipedia, list copied from OurWorldInData bc I'm lazy
So, what I think could maybe happen now that Asuka has the Flame of Corruption again, is that shit hits the fan in such a bad way that he has to put it back into Sol OR he's got a Frederick/Sol clone in his moon palace somewhere that he puts it into (weird ending). There are other possible scenarios but these two feel the most likely. ASW/Daisuke have mentioned that this is the "end" of Sol's story but, come on, he's the box art guy lol He's got the most art/merch out of anyone else and the second most themes next to Ky. They're not gonna fully retire him.

Annon-Guy: How would you rate the Guilty Gear StrIVe cast from weakest to strongest in terms of the story and lore?
Gameplay is excluded as it's meant to go either way regardless of the story.
In terms of story and lore!?!?
It's a little hard to exclude everything that's been "built up" from previous game story content and to simply take Strive's cast at face value... but I'll give it a try.
Honestly to me, the biggest presence in Strive is Nagoriyuki.
He's been a driving force for this game since the very first trailer.
The approach taken for Strive is very different from previous entries in Guilty Gear, so much of what has been achieved is unprecedented.
Working from Nagoriyuki backwards, you might see that what they are focusing on in this story is a "different take" from the usual "unusual" that Guilty Gear is known for.
Next up is Happy Chaos... and I DARE SAY he is Ishiwatari's dark muse this time around. Not only was he teased in Xrd Revelator, but his influence has been felt since Xrd: Sign's Opening which discussed the Backyard in its entirety.
Happy Chaos is actually a major influence to I-No's past, even if the script doesn't write it that way... looking at the story between the lines, it's not so easy to spot this fact, but it is a fact nonetheless...
Looking at I-No's drive and ambition, especially as she casually confronts Nagoriyuki at his full power, you see someone who has played at being a God for some time now, only crushed by the weight and desires of being a "normal human". (That is to say, I-No had all this power, yet she only wanted to be a Human.)
Happy Chaos impacted her life in this way, and you see it hinted at in the first few scenes of the story in the "Last One" segment, that Happy Chaos wishes to atone for his mistakes with I-No, and bring her ill fate to a close, even if he never openly admits it.
It is... somewhat of a tragic thing to say that a Villain wants to "save" another Villain, when framed in this manner.
And then of course we see the Universal Will come to confront her creator one last time, only to see he has transcended his Humanity.
Even if Ariels couldn't understand Humans, she was becoming much more like them than she ever could have realized, and the cold detachment of Happy Chaos' dismissal of the definition of what Humans are, is telling how changed he has become from his days as the Original Sage.
And let's not forget the tragedy that Happy Chaos wrought in the lives of many... not just Nagoryuki and the Crusades... or even Baiken... but also Romeo and Delilah, their lives were influenced by him in such a way that hatred was the only thing Delilah could cling to in her moments of loneliness...
That such a young child, burdened with power, just like I-No, would be forced in to such a tragic state all because of Happy Chaos, means that there is much to address, both in the past and the present of Guilty Gear's History.
And the ones who chose to help carry that burden? Sin Kiske and Ramlethal Valentine... May, Faust, and many others... all to save a little child who was cursed by a man who forgot how to be human.
Sin and Ramlethal have their own burdens, but that wasn't enough to stop them from carrying the burdens of others, was it? Life takes unique twists and turns in that regard. And we've seen the same with Sol and Ky in the past as well.
Maybe it's because Humanity has their own way of doing things, that someone like Sol Badguy can exist in this world... or maybe it's because someone like him can touch the hearts of men like Ky Kiske, Asuka R. Kreutz, and others... it's hard to fully fathom.
But Sol even saved the President... something Nagoriyuki wished he could have done for his Master... Sol was deserving of death for becoming an enemy of Peace, a bloody knight of war carrying the sins of death for a past he didn't deserve. A Gear "guilty" of killing his kin and then some.
So how can a man who was found "Guilty" become a Hero?
Goldlewis certainly doesn't have the answer to that question, and his solution was to politely ask Sol to sit in a electric chair of all things!
But then, Goldlewis isn't exactly innocent of all this "history" either.
Of course, spending all your life pretending to be a superhero tends to blur the lines between what's good and bad about history.
America wasn't sinless either... and neither was Asuka R. Kreutz.
A world at war... conflict and bitter memories harbored... such a world created Happy Chaos, created a need for his existence.
So when Happy Chaos walks in their office, launches all their nukes, destroys all the nukes... what exactly are they supposed to say to him?
China? Russia? Illyria? America???? It's like borders are a joke to Happy Chaos.
Amid the politics of all this, Happy Chaos still manages to nearly kill several innocent (or not so innocent) soldiers in the process... meanwhile King Daryl observes him, unfazed.
Even if Daryl isn't a playable character... I couldn't help but marvel at the fact he didn't flinch when a bullet wizzed past his ear in to a nearby wall. The man people say "prepares documents" with precision... impressing even the likes of Asuka (Ky and Leo being the least of them).
Even if Sol Badguy can slam Chaos in to a nearby wall to save the President... he can't fully stop Chaos' plans or ambitions... and that's later proven with I-No's transcendency in to Godhood.
Amid all the chaos in the White House, a smaller player is impacting events behind the scenes: Giovanna of the Secret Service... though she does not stand out among the other big players... she strikes at points where events are critical... and her presence is felt.
She stopped Nagoriyuki when almost none else could... and she sensed Chaos when almost none else could... she's going to be involved in the future, regardless of what we all may suspect.
When Ky reveals his trump cards to I-No... it's a sad thing to say that Ishiwatari is "bad" at telling a story.
I say that with a wry smile on my face, by the way.
Ishiwatari is "bad" at telling the "whole" story, basically... and the narrative tends to drop bombs of information or leave such out... baffling the lot of us as we continue to observe GG as a saga.
Whether it was Dragon Install or its connection to the Scales of Juno... or just the fact Sol Badguy had created a Prototype of the OutRage Mark 2 and never explained how he built it... only saying it was a "hobby"...
All of these little casual remarks on otherwise NON-casual story topics... I tend to laugh at the brazen-ness of the writers, not just Ishiwatari... for withholding so much coveted information on Guilty Gear's Lore.
And despite all of what transpires... we finally see Axl Low sitting on a park bench, finally getting his just reward to reunite with the woman of his life.
All of this "Happy" Chaos... and the man who atoned for it, the man who rewrote history to his whims... standing on a beach, proclaiming to the world his own existence...
Even if other faces appear in this grand history of a story... it's hard to say where they will be placed... Testament? Can't forget him. Bridget? No idea where they fit. Slayer? A fixture, yes, but his role? No clue.
Even if we addressed others like Elphelt, Bedman, Zato, Millia, and so on... it's hard to say with implicitness their true impact on future history in Guilty Gear's world.
Will the man with the Black Halo atone for his remaining crimes?
Or will the man in the Crimson Jacket come out of his temporary Retirement?
Or, better yet... will more players reveal themselves in this history in the making?
Once again, I ask:
WHO DARES TO ENTER THE MAYHEM?

I keep thinking about what if Sol the Pale didn’t die. Two things can happen. He can become a villain or stay the hero path.
Hero Path: He is the one who banished Gunmar and the others. Seen as a traitor by them. Kanjigar and Deya don’t become trollhunters. Bular kills SP(Sol the Pale) and Jim is chosen after him.
The former Trollhunter is much kinder to Jim and does his best to guide him. Letting him know he isn’t alone and he shouldn’t keep this life from his mother. “She is your mother. She has every right to know.”
Villain Path: Even though the amulet was taken from him, he can still use it. He breaks out of in prison and right away starts is attack. He kills any human he finds.
When Jim tries to fight him, he is out matched. SP low key mocks Jim. “You really think you can stop me? Do you even know who I am?”
Jim is barely saved by the team. It was almost game over for him. Jim has never met someone as dangerous as this troll.

OKAY. UM. so it's been Literally Like A Year Or Two since i last talked about Rescue in any detail (?!) so you guys get some unhinged rambling about furries
...UNDER THE CUT, BECAUSE THIS GOT LONG.
Tumblr media
Sol, he/him: woke up one day in a weird abandoned lab with no idea how he got there or literally anything at all. and then found out that thanks to Dubious Science he is now unable to be killed. which is very cool except for the "i dont know where i am, apparently i've been missing for HALF A YEAR, and also now my blood is BLUE????" thing. originally stressed, sarcastic, and distrustful, but once he's in a safer environment he turns out to be warm-hearted if awkward and has trouble expressing his feelings. technically undead. Rescue's set in 2017ish so he's, like. 20. likes spicy food, space, and Sonic; dislikes bright red, jello, and sticky things.
Tumblr media
Zyd, she/her: fellow lab experiment with a lot of knowledge on the projects the lab was undertaking before being abruptly abandoned. fills Sol in on the whole "yeah you can't be killed anymore, have fun with that" thing, has a more extreme form of it where she literally can't feel pain but regenerates super quickly. comes off as very self-confident and driven, but is actually exhausted and wants to go back to a normal life as much as Sol does. this rabbit has trauma. likes horror movies, loud music she can yell along to, and citrus; dislikes being touched (with exceptions), harsh noise, and shirts.
Tumblr media
Tank, she/they/he: literally just kinda Shows Up, does terribly at getting in Sol's good books, and is just kinda running around Causing Problems on accident. initial impression of being airheaded and naive, but that starts to crack eventually bc it turns out they're an anxious mess with a super low opinion of herself. oops! also they broke in but are very avoidant on Why. manages to blunder her way into becoming good friends with Sol afterwards. likes rhythm games (bonds with Sol over them), speedcore, and shrimp; dislikes getting talked over, romcoms, and needles.
Tumblr media
Monty, he/him: third member of the Lab Experiment Gang, although Sol doesn't get to meet him for a while due to Tank knocking things off course. chronically ill and willingly volunteered hoping it'd help, became friends with Zyd, and then things went Terribly Wrong. nonverbal. prefers communicating through text (they confiscated his phone). was a theater kid. i BARELY talk about him and he didnt pass the sexy lamp test for an uncomfortable amount of time despite his friendship with Zyd being incredibly important. likes gardening, Portal, and trashy YA fantasy; dislikes bananas.
Tumblr media
CY, they/them: WHERE. IS MY ART OF THEM. DID I SERIOUSLY NOT SAVE RECENT STUFF INTO THE RESCUE FOLDER AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA okay uh. CY is a hostile AI and the reason why the lab got abandoned - everything's in lockdown until they can figure out how to neutralize them, which is difficult when they've basically evolved into a virus that's taken over the lab's network and is trying to break through to the outside world. there is a lot more to them but they're kind of a mess. could probably be a notITG SRT villain.
Tumblr media
Griffin, he/him: android assistant that is completely unaware the lab is abandoned because, like. the experiments patients are still there! somebody's gotta look after them! was very much not programmed to handle any of this and so is constantly frazzled and would like everyone to stop trying to break out, please. would also like everyone to stop trying to break IN, PLEASE, YES THAT MEANS YOU TANK. Zyd is very friendly with him, Sol has no idea what to make of him, CY fucking hates him. he's a... cat... dragon.. robot... thing..?
Tumblr media
Seb: they/them, was named Sandblast until literally 5 minutes ago (originally was a Soundscapes character so theyre named after a song but got ported into Rescue years ago and i. never changed their name). trying very, Very hard to balance Griffin out, not really succeeding. has a lot of guilt about basically everything and is just trying to keep everything running smoothly. quiet and nervous. Wow I Wonder Which Leo Designed This Guy (it was pat)
there's also at least 3 more guys but one of them doesn't have proper art yet (Aloe, "sibling" to Seb and just kinda vibing her way through the whole situation), one of them barely has info at all and might be a backstory character, and the third one needs a huge overhaul. i swear to god ill do proper work on anybody that isn't the main trio (sol/zyd/tank) and CY someday

My Stand-In Ep 11 Live Blogging
I'm so excited, been waiting for the past 5 days. From the previews, seems like it'll be an angsty episode (episode 11 after all) and I'm really looking forward to this "ep 11 angst curse" because the conflict has been hinted at throughout the entire show so far (Ming's rich, shitty family and the fact that they would disapprove if they knew he was gay) rather than random problems that pop-up just because they need conflict. Also, I thinkkkk it may bring the two of them closer together, especially with Ming showing how far he's willing to go for Joe and that he's serious about this, rather than driving the two of them apart.
Ep 11 (July 5)
59 minutes, nice. Also half-glad that apparently it releases early-ish in the morning because I expected it to release closer to noon because today I get to watch it earlier but next week, there'll be an even longer time between when it's released and when I get to watch it and there'll be spoilers abound.
Mike promised Ming something hmm, will we get an ally?
even Sol knew that Joe wasn't gonna be able to not get back together with Ming lol
oh, I hope Sol is bowing out. he even used Phi-Nong for themselves
man, Mike's not an ally, just a soft villain compared to what I assume his father will do. although i wonder if Mike's the one who'll send the contract stuff to Joe's mother because I'm dreading that the most and will make Mike much worse
oh nooooo, we're already getting Ing finding out about the Ming-Joe contract aghhh I don't wanna watch T.T
I don't really even know how Joe would explain this tbh like what would make her be okay?
damn, she really said don't see me until you've paid off all the debt
so Mike isn't behind it? fr? hmm...
sickly, delicate, Victorian boy looking Ming
ohh Ming's telling Mike about new Joe being old Joe
not the parents suddenly coming in, not even a hint that they've come home beforehand
Ming's vomit falling on his mother's hand is grossing me out
lmfao Mike knowing that Ming was faking it. i love siblings and their shenanigans
yay, Mike has become an ally
I know people were shipping Mike and the secretary, though I don't care about that pairing myself
giggling over them playing around and Ming being a cute menace while in a hospital bed
okayyyy is the mother gonna be fine too now that she's seen the two of them together/wants her son to be well? also she's so beautiful
Ah, the mother sent the lawyer to Ing agh
Poor May bro, I can't believe she's stuck with Tong and is gonna have a child too agh I want her to leave him so bad
yess May, I love youuuuu <333333
why is this father actually evil bruh, threatening to disown Ming and take away his business and everything
anyway, that Tong info was barely leverage like Ming could've left and been disowned even without that aghhh should've used it as at least a bit more leverage
I'm once again mad/sad that Ming's not seeing Joe's real face
May, trusttttt, this divorce will be good for you
Do not show me Tong saying "I'm sorry" to the empty air. Is he doing this because he wants to protect May from the debt collectors or something? idc, you can't make me sympathetic towards him, I need to see him get fucked up
Tong leading these debt collectors straight to Joe while he begs him aghhh and now Joe's gotta fight them because he's too nice
girl what even, how did they switch clothes and mask/glasses so that they kidnap Joe instead of Tong and whyyyyy
why why why would you "take care of this" Joe? why
Ming mistakenly calling Tong Joe from seeing his back goes so hard though
500 000 000 baht oh my god, let's just trade and have Tong killed what the fuck
It's not fun to see Tong grovel/admit fault, I want revenge aklsjfaklsfjskl;f
fucking hell. I guess this is how Joe ends up in the wheelchair
we wouldn't happen to get Joe's real body back, would we? Since the cremation happened and everybody attended his funeral
did nobody inform Joe's mother? meanwhile fuckass Tong is here
what the hell is that door?
poor Joe who is fucking tired of everything happening to him. can't blame him for choosing the door, though I wonder if he's gonna turn back around next ep or he'll get his own body back or what
ofc we're ending here
The conflict had been hinted at throughout the show, but the episode was still quite different from the usual episodes where they're mostly in like Joe's house or at work (shooting/practicing/etc.) and Ming's a strong presence, whether it be to psychologically play with Joe or begging Joe lol. And this felt like a bit of a different genre now with the father and the debt collectors kidnapping Joe but we've been building up to it for a while. Like I'm just glad that the ep 11 problems, although more intense and in a different form than the previous episodes, are not out of the left field.
I can take Mike and Ming's mother becoming allies in this episode but I do not have it in me to give Tong grace. They still made him kinda cowardly and selfish in this episode but he's being portrayed as pitiful as well and maybe like he's turned a new leaf but like Enough! I was on board Ming's changes but you can't just make every shitty person become "good," I still need to see Tong get his comeuppance but I doubt we will. If they also make the father come around next episode (is he the one who called the cops?), then what even... we need some villains/antagonists who don't become sympathetic (the debt collectors don't count, they're hardly characters).
I can't believe I've not got to wait a week and ~8 hours to watch the last episode, what the hell... give it to me now. I'm not super worried about what happens next week though because of the scenes with Joe in a wheelchair that are yet to come.

ive had a lot of ocs over the years but the two im currently writing a full on story about are sol and matthew!!
theyve basically got two iterations: sol and matthew in the og story concept, where theyre both gods on the run for various reasons including fratricide, and the hero au im actually writing for! im mostly gonna go over the hero au cause the og story is a Lot (like, enough that i decided not to make it a book cause itd take like a trilogy to properly express it)
sol and matthew are both childhood friends who live in a world where everyone gets powers when they’re a kid, and so being heroes who stop the various superpowered villains/criminals is a job people can get in specialized high schools or colleges! sol’s family is basically all heroes, with his parents and brother both being very frequent top 10 contenders, and she is uh. not. let’s just say that.
both of them were childhood friends, but eventually they kind of split up when matthews mom moved to a different part of town, and in his absence sol tried to get admitted into the defensor agency’s hero school! however, he failed one of the required tests horribly, and then was essentially quietly written out of their hero family until they were literally given the keys to an apartment on the very outskirts of the district and told to leave. once he moved there again, though, he found matthew! and so they ran away to the furthest parts of the city to live different lives.
eventually, though, after years of living together and being partners, they meet a vigilante named helio (his vigilante name is flintlock!) and sol gets Inspired. so she rather recklessly decides to become a vigilante in secret, and matthew panics when he finds out and becomes one as well to protect his most precious person/husband (unofficial)/only friend in the dangerous situations she throws herself into. hes so worried someone save him
this does eventually lead to sol accidentally blinding his hero younger brother, getting officially branded a villain, and getting yeeted into prison! and matthew breaking them out and also everyone else with them, and then him deciding to adopt these two vigilante kids who they broke out as well. he literally found this family in a mass prison break!
(the kids are named hansel and gretel! hansel is a robot and gretel’s the human he was based off. he’s trans and gretel changed her own name so he wouldnt be alone)
uhhhh other info i guess? sol has illusion powers- specifically manipulating light, but she finds making illusions much easier- and matthew has wind manipulation powers! however, when theyre acting as vigilantes, they hide their powers and control how they use them so the public thinks they have, respectively, light amplification and flight! sol’s vigilante name is will-o-wisp, and matthew’s is sirin! so they’re both named after mythical creatures
im still waffling about what to name the story tbh- it’s either kill your heroes or better an ignis fatuus. the second one is a reference to an emily dickinson poem! “better an ignis fatuus than no illume at all” is the full quote
Reblog this and tell me about your ocs. don’t even write it in the tags just respond.

You know, Ashfur’s place as a Warrior Cats villain is kinda interesting. Every other major villain was very clearly set up to be a villain from either the very beginning (from release date order, so prequels with them as kits don’t count as “beginning”), or as soon as they had any screentime to speak of.
Tigerstar? Brokenstar? Scourge? Hawkfrost? Sol? Mapleshade? Darktail? All clearly villains from the beginning. Hawkfrost might have gotten a mention or two at a gathering before he started on his villainy, but that’s about it.
Ashfur though? Debuted in “The Prophecy Begins”, and while he wasn’t a main character by any means, had his own small roles with him supporting and covering up for his adopted brother Cloudpaw when he was sneaking over to Twolegplace, mourning his mother’s death after she was killed by dogs, helping to take down the pack leader and to help in killing Bone as a way of getting back at Tigerstar for his part in his mother’s murder. And even throughout most of “The New Prophecy”, he was generally a nice, friendly, well-respected warrior. He showed some shades of what he would become near the end after Squirrelflight rejected him, guilt-tripping her by reminding her that her chosen mate, Brambleclaw, was Tigerstar’s son and breaking off their friendship. But still within fairly normal, if jerkish, bounds for a reaction to a breakup.
It was only with Power of Three that Ashfur went full villain with his attempted murder of Squirrelflight’s kits (I’m not counting helping to lure Firestar into that trap in The New Prophecy, since we only found out about that in Power of Three).
Then with how batshit insane Ashfur went after that, to the extent of being what is probably the strongest single threat in Warrior Cats years AFTER he died... it makes him very interesting to watch, with being this absurdly evil cat with a surprisingly complex backstory.

Longstar Au May the 4th be With You Always part 2
Hello and welcome back to an AU that has gotten out of my control.  Sorry it’s been a bit, I’ve had this written up for a few days, but it’s been tweaked and retweaked until I had to stop or it might gain sentience or something.  Just a quick note, I have some notes on the designs page of some of the deaths of the villains - some of these have been retconned.  With that in mind, let’s finish - that’s right, I said finish - the Longstar AU!!!
Up in Starclan, it’s chaos.  Cats are yelling, Bluestar is hollering about prophecies, and Yellowfang wants to know if ANYONE was watching Dovepaw.  As the chaos dies down, discussions on the war begin, and Yellowfang is angry that it’s being talked about as casually as gossip about who’s dating who.  Canon continues until...
Lionblossom is finishing treating Thunderclan’s wounds, while Jaywhisker sits nearby, trembling.  He can’t believe he’s responsible for the death of Russetfur, she just twisted wrong and landed on his outstretched claws.  Lionblossom tried comforting him, but words won’t bring back a good warrior, who would have been a wonderful leader.  He finally drifts off to sleep, only to see a golden-pelted warrior training with Tigerstar.
Jaywhisker jerks awake to Cinderheart gently prodding him.  She apologizes for waking him, but something flew into the hollow, and she doesn’t want to look for it alone, and Jaywhisker looked like sleep wasn’t restful, so could he come?  Jaywhisker agrees, glad for the distraction, and the two scare off an enormous white owl.  Cinderheart tells Jaywhisker that she’s worried about him, and he thanks her for the concern, even if he’s confused why she cares.  They head for an early patrol, and run across Embertail.  He’s furious, but before he can run off, Jaywhisker begs him for a chance to explain.  Embertail spits, about to fire off a retort, but Jaywhisker looks like misery incarnate, and Embertail pulls himself together, and listens.  Jay quietly wails out his horror and guilt, and asserts that none of this should have happened, especially to such an honorable warrior like Russetfur.  As he leans on Cinderheart, trying to pull himself together, Embertail recalls how the blind warrior helped his family when Shadowclan abandoned their faith, and how loyal he was to the Code and his family.  So, instead of calling him a murderer, Embertail says he’ll go to Starclan for guidance, and Jaywhicker begs him to ask Russetfur for forgiveness.  Embertail agrees and heads back to Shadowclan, and Jaywhisker apologizes to Cinderheart for crying on her.  Cinderheart responds, what else are friends for?  Canon continues until...
Dovepaw tries to convince Ivypaw to stop spying on the Dark Forest.  Look what they did to me, and I’m the Prophecy Cat!  Ivypaw retorts back excuse me, if you’d gone to someone before yowling your pretty little head off about Shadowclan being evil, maybe this wouldn’t have happened!  Maybe make this not all about you?  And Ivypaw storms off, genuinely angry at her sister for once.  Canon continues until...
Littlecloud, laying near death in the medicine den, asks Embertail to go to the Moonpool, and ask Starclan for guidance.  The ghosts of Shadowclan rise in flames, and tell Embertail the clans must stand alone.  Before they can fade, Embertail, who’s been thinking hard and talking to his mentor, fires back that if the clans were closer, maybe the battle wouldn’t have happened in the first place!  Stunned by the retort, most of the ghosts return to Starclan, where Yellowfang says I told you that was stupid, but Runningnose and Russetfur hang back, with Runningnose congratulating Embertail on his bravery, and Embertail giving Russetfur Jaywhisker’s apology.  Russetfur says she needs to think on it, and the last Starclan cats return to the stars.  Blackstar, on hearing the message, agrees with the Shadowclan ghosts, but Littlecloud and Embertail argue for unity.  Canon continues until...
Ivypaw goes to train in the Dark Forest, and bumps into Mapleshade, who shows interest in her.  Brambleclaw inserts himself between them, commanding Mapleshade to back off, but he’s a few octaves higher than normal, and Mapleshade bows out, laughing.  Ivypaw then fake praises the Shadowclan ruse, and Brambleclaw preens, then introduces her to his posse.  In the group of Dark Forest residents is Snowtuft, hanging back, and every time Brambleclaw looks away, Snowtuft looks miserable, which is normal for the Dark Forest, but also regretful, which is definitely new.  Later, she overhears Tigerstar praising Goldenheart on learning a new technique.  When she wakes, Ivypaw tells Jaywhisker and Lionblossom about the Shadowclan warrior and the possibly remorseful ghost, which both interest the brothers greatly.  Canon continues until...
Embertail falls through the ice.  Jaywhisker leaps into the water, his blindness a boon in this situation.  As he struggles to hold onto Embertail, a weird floaty old tom tries to convince him it’s Embertail’s time.  Jaywhisker completely ignores him, thinking it’s a Dark Forest trick, and drags Embertail free of the waters, but it’s been hours, and Embertail’s breathing steady, but he won’t wake up!!!
Meanwhile in the Dark Forest, Ivypaw is lead to the wandering spirit of Embertail by Tigerstar and commanded to kill.  Goldenheart leaps in, and as the two squabble, Embertail is lead away by Yellowfang.  Tigerstar is impressed by Ivypaw’s spirit, and decides she’s loyal to the Dark Forest.
Meanwhile in the Tribe, Feathertail watches over her brother’s kits. She looks tired and worn, but when Brook asks if she’s alright, Feathertail insists she’s fine.  Back in Shadowclan, Embertail wakes up!!!  All he remembers is falling in the water, and seeing Yellowfang, but nothing with his brother or Ivypaw.  Canon continues until...
When Icecloud falls in the hole. Jaywhisker begins to have a panic attack, and Cinderheart helps him breathe throught it.  Behind them, Ivypaw, Dovepaw, Wormpaw, and Icecloud all bet on how long before they start dating.  When they get back to camp, Dovepaw becomes Dovewing, Ivypaw becomes Ivyleaf (for her capability to grow), and poor left-out Wormpaw becomes Wormwood (for his steady, dependable spirit).  Canon continues until...
Jaywhisker ventures into the tunnel, hoping sadly to recover Hollywish, but all that’s there is a tuft of fur, and an old bloodstain.  To his dawning joy, maybe his sister is alive?!?  But he refuses to keep his hopes high.  He doesn’t want to get hurt.  Canon continues until...
Ivyleaf and Antpelt fight in the Dark Forest, and she beats him so soundly he wakes up.  Mapleshade emerges from nearby, and promises Ivyleaf that she’s ready for “special training”, which worries Ivyleaf, but what choice does she have?  Canon continues until...
At the Gathering, Dovewing refuses to talk to Goldenheart, pissed off at him.  Bumblestripe follows her around a tad creepily, but is interrupted by Grasspelt asking about Briarlight.  Dovewing gently breaks the news to Grasspelt, who’s horrified but relieved, and asks Brightheart is he can come visit, and she agrees.  Dawnpelt catches Dovewing before gathering ends and tells her that Goldenheart is in it for Dovewing.  Canon continues until...
Lionblossom hars voices calling from the mountain, and Longstar, knowing he’ll just sneak off if not allowed, sends him off to the Tribe with Foxflight, Shrewleg, Wolfleap (formerly Foxleap), and Frostfoot.  Yellowfang wonders what the Tribe is up to, that’s HER himbo descendant, excuse you!  Canon continues until...
While walking out in the woods, Cinderheart tells Jaywhisker that she overheard Dovewing talking to Ivyleaf about Prophecies, and Jay admits to what’s going on.  Cinderheart starts panicking, oh man I’m not worthy to date such an important cat!?!  Jaywhisker goes wait wait wait, we’re dating?  And I’m supposed to be the smart brother!  There’s a moment where they just stare at each other, then burst into laughter until they fall down.  Wormwood wins the Date Bet by a day, and gets three juicy mice for winning.  Canon continues until...
Breezepelt stops by Thunderclan, obviously in a state.  He tells Longstar that someone snuck into camp and killed his friend Antpelt, have you seen any wandering loners?  Dovewing panics, thinking Ivyleaf’s in danger, but Ivyleaf scoffs.  What, you think a measly Dark Forest warrior could take me?  I’m so offended I’m gonna give you a noogie!  Canon continues until...
When Goldenheart pins Ivytail in the Dark Forest, she whispers in his ear that she’d never hurt his sibling, and he backs off, but also because she yeets him off.  When Blossomfall is introduced as a new trainee, Ivyleaf is horrified, excuse me, you’re the sensible one?!?  Canon continues until...
The patrol makes it to the Tribe, and Foxflight reunites with her old friends.  Wolfleap convinces the Tribe trainees to show him their eagle-catching techniques, though he gets scolded for it.  While there, Lionblossom dreams of the origins of the Tribe, and when Half-Moon speaks to him, Lionblossom confesses his crush.  She reciprocates, saying she’s been keeping an eye on him, which isn’t creepy at all!  Canon continues until...
Somewhere in here, Sandstorm and Coldlight become mates, after both searching their feelings and discussing their boundaries, like sensible adults.  Ivyleaf and Blossomfall become lost in the tunnels, and a shadowy molly leads them to safety, along with a ghostly Fallen Leaves.  Canon continues until...
Flora is nearly carried off by an eagle, and Wolfleap, Foxflight, and Frostfoot attack it, saving Flora but losing Swoop, to their grief.  Lionblossom talks to Stoneteller, and chooses Crag as the next Stoneteller.  He silently promises Half-Moon he’ll wait for her if she’ll wait for him.
Sol approaches the Clans, vowing revenge, but boy oh boy will he be surprised!!!
While out patrolling, Birchfall tells Ivyleaf he saw her training in the Dark Forest, and Ivyleaf internally flips out.  At the border, Furzepaw sides with  the Thunderclan warriors, confusing Heathertail and Breezepelt.  Whitewing and Dovewing are gathering moss, and Dovewing has to tell her mother that no, she does NOT want to be set up with Bumblestripe, maybe try Rosepetal, she like him.  Can we talk about something else?  Please?  Whitewing agrees, and later sets up Rosepetal with Bumblestripe in a scheme involving a frog, moss, and a convinient field of flowers.  The two become mates, and Dovewing sighs in relief, especially when Bumblestripe apologizes for being obsessive. Also, because Embertail lived, Dawnpelt doesn’t hate Jaywhisker. Canon continues until...
Cherrypaw and Molepaw are rescued from the tunnels by the shadowy molly, but Sol shows up, claiming he rescued the apprentices. He’s chased from Thunderclan and yeeted over the border by an angry mob.  Later, Dovewing hears Sol setting up trouble in Windclan, and she and Ivyleaf head through the tunnels to stop him.
of course they get lost almost immediately, and are also lead out by the shadowy molly.  As the molly heads back into the tunnels, Jaywhisker appears.  Oh there you are, where did you goooOOO MY SWEET GRAN-GRAN’S LEFT FANG!!!!  He leaps past the warriors and tackles the molly, yowling in joy.  It’s Hollywish!!! Jaywhisker drags her back to camp, with Dovewing and Ivyleaf trailing behind.  Hollywish’s return to Thunderclan camp is a joyous occasion, as her mother, brother, aunt, uncles, and grandparents descend on her in tears of delight and relief.  Dovewing heads to her grandmother Brightheart and tells her about her “suspicion”, plus aren’t there some family members missing?  Shortly after, Crowfeather and Breezepelt charge into camp, with Heathertail and Gorseflicker close behind with Ivyleaf.  Canon continues until...
Hollywish explains that she was injured badly, and became badly lost and disoriented, only saved by Fallen Leaves, and was regaining both her strength and her confidence before returning.  The Windclan warriors and Thunderclan hatch a plan to catch Sol in his own trap.  Canon continues until...
Lionblossom fills Yellowfang in on Jaywhisker and Cinderheart, and they both realize she might get confused if Cinderpelt’s memories show up, so they break it to her gently.  She freaks out, but Jaywhisker notes he’s never seen Cinderpelt in her dreams, so she must be more of a watchful spirit.  She calms down and calls for Cinderpelt to appear, and she does.  The two have a private conversation, and then Yellowfang escorts her apprentice to Starclan. Canon continues until...
Ivyleaf and Dark Forest Antpelt fight on the order of Brambleclaw, and she kills Antpelt.  Sunstrike and Furzepelt threaten her, and she stalks off, acting haughty, until out of earshot, where she loses her mind, lashing out and weeping bitterly.  When she stops wailing, she hears someone else weeping.  On investigation, she finds Snowtuft tearing up the ground, wailing into the muck, and cursing his own stupidity and cruelty.  Ivyleaf, seeing an opportunity, and a cat that might be salvageable, she walks up to him and comforts the Dark Forest cat.  When he’s done, the two have a conversation that leads to a future surprise.  Canon continues until...
Windclan fakes allowing Sol in, and fake an attack on Thunderclan, but loop back with Thunderclan in tow.  Mudstar and Longstar stand united, and after spitting hate to a distant clan, Sol flees.  Later, he’s found by some twolegs, and becomes a pampered internet star.
With all four of the Prophecised cats here, preparations begin in the clans, in the Dark Forest, and in Starclan.  Mothwing finds a shadow that refuses to fade, and the medicine cats bring their leaders to the Moonpool.  Starclan reveals that they’re ready for battle, and plans are hatched.  Canon continues until...
Ivyleaf tells the Four that Birchfall and Blossomfall are Dark Forest trainees, which horrifies Dovewing, but then Ivyleaf reveals she’s undermined all the trainees from within.  When she and Snowtuft had their talk, they planned together.  Snowtuft secretly took each and every trainee, and showed them what they were truly doing, planting doubts and turning some back to the clans.  Canon continues untill
The Battle Begins!!
Shadowclan calls for aid, and Greystripe and Jaywhisker bolt there to help.  Even in his blindness, Jaywhisker can see the gruesome Ghosts and shining Spirits battling in his peripherals.  As they enter the camp, Blackstar rises from losing a life.  He then kills Redwillow for being a traitor, and Jaywhisker duels with Shredtail, scattering him into the aether.  Suddenly Greystripe yowls in grief, and Jaywhisker hears the voice of Feathertail assuring him she’ll always be with him and watch over Briarlight.  Canon continues until...
Ivyleaf runs into Goldenheart, and she confronts him angrily.  He swears to do better by the Code, the clan, and by his sister.  Ivyleaf declares that he better, because Dovewing still loves him, even if Ivyleaf thinks he’s a big fat jerk.  Goldenheart says you know what, that’s fair.  Canon continues until...
Over in Windclan, Heathertail and Breezepelt drag drag Furzepaw and Sunstrike apart as the battle rages around them.  Furzepaw declares Sunstrike a traitor to their true ideals and the Dark Forest, and Sunstrike yowls back that the Dark Forest lied to them and killed Antpelt!!  Breezepelt reels back in shock, as Antpelt was his best friend.  They’re interrupted by Crowfeather and Nightcloud racing past, then pouncing on and killing Houndleap.  Gorseflicker is heard screeching in rage, shredding and scattering a ghost to the winds, and a shining Deadfoot trounces a cat until they flee, past the glowing forms of Onewhisker and Tallstar.  Canon continues until...
Brambleclaw confronts Ivyleaf, spitting curses at her disloyalty.  She counters that she’s not the only one, and Snowtuft drops out of a tree.  The three tussle until Ivyleaf is pinned and Snowtuft was thrown loose.  As Brambleclaw raises a paw for the death blow, two blurs knock him off - Hollywish and Foxflight!  They professionally murder him, and Ivyleaf thanks Snowtuft for his help, and wishes him well.  As she thanks him, the gruesome aura all Dark Forest cats have lessens on Snowtuft, though it doesn’t completely fade.  Mousefur, standing nearby, goes I beg your PARDON that’s wild.  She peppers Snowtuft with questions, and the two race off to fight side by side.  Canon continues until...
Darkstripe and Brokenstar attack the Thunderclan camp, with Brokenstar heading straight for the nursery.  Sorreltail and Brackenfur nearly gleefully kill Darkstripe, as Honeyfern and Fercloud face off against Brokenstar.  She kills Honeyfern, and pins Ferncloud, but Yellowfang slams into her errant kit, and kills Brokenstar once more.  Yellowfang then lays Honeyfern somewhere safe, and sets herself up to guard the camp.  Canon continues until...
Crowfeather rushes to Thunderclan to find Swiftpool and the rest of his kits, after seeing Windclan safe.  Mapleshade leaps into his path, just as he sees Swiftpool in the distance.  The pair double team Mapleshade before she can spout any rhetoric about forbidden love.  Canon continues until...
Longstar faces off against Tigerstar, but the nearly blinded leader is slowly losing his strength.  Nearby, Spottedleaf tells Fireheart that his destiny awaits, and he takes off from the medicine den.  As Tigerstar stalks forward, Fireheart leaps from the shadows and latches onto Tigerstar’s throat.  Longstar charges, remembering all the cats dead or injured because of Tigerstar, and throws himself at his once-friend.  A yowl of pain echoes, and cuts off abruptly, sending the Dark Forest warriors fleeing.  Flamewish bolts out of camp, searching for her mate and brother, with her family close behind.  They find Longstar and Fireheart laying side by side, dying.  Flamewish rushes to them, screeching in grief, and her family surrounds the dying cats, and after a touching farewell to their family, the legendary leader and his legendary medicine cat pass, rising to Starclan with the others who passed on in the battle, as shining spirits.
Brightstar is instated as leader of Thunderclan, and chooses Hollywish as deputy.  Frostfoot and Whitestorm retire and join Purdy in the Elder’s Den.  The Dark Forest trainees are put on probation for at least a year.  Dovewing gets a heartfelt apology from Goldenheart, and the two reconcile.  Hollywish visits Fallen Leaves as often as she can, with other cats visiting him as well.  A few moons later, a loner named Fern asks if he can join Thunderclan.
And that’s the end of the Longstar AU!  It’s not the end of the story tough, just a transition into Brightstar au!  The rest might take a wee bit longer to post, but I’ll try to get something up eventually.  In the meantime, I have a list of cats to draw, like Wormwood, who kind of just showed up, and Snowtuft, who loudly insisted on more redemption arc please!
Again, thanks so much for the likes and subscribes!  I really appreciate it!
That’s all for now!

Note
On your Seiya and Usagi post, you had a tag about an AU and YES I WANT TO HEAR please(:
YESSS *RUBS MY GAY LITTLE HANDS*
Click the read more because this post turned out longer than I expected but SEIUSA AU HERE WE GO
Okay, so this is basically just “The Sailor Starlights come to earth at the beginning of the series instead of in S4″ AU. In that specific scene/whatever, Fighter hears Sailor Moon screaming during her first fight and goes there to save her on pure instinct, not because she’s looking for the Silver Crystal or anything.
Honesty in my head I wouldn’t necessarily get rid of Mamoru or anything and the whole thing would kind of follow the same basic beats as the canon Sailor Moon story.
After the first fight, Fighter would get curious about Sailor Moon, and with time she’d end up aiding her too from time to time in her battles. Maybe she can even meet Tuxedo like that, when they both go to save SM at the first time or something safsadgs. Usagi would develop her crush on Tuxedo Mask while at the same time being curious about Fighter as well. Also during all this time Fighter is flirting with Sailor Moon because she’s a big lesbian and I love her, which would leave her feeling ~~confused~~.
Meanwhile, the Three Lights could serve as the standard “popular idol” like Minako does in PSSM, though I do like the idea of their popularity growing through the series exponentially.
Sometime after the senshi go meet Queen Serenity, Fighter would be aiding Sailor Moon and the others in a fight, but then get hurt herself. Then Maker and Healer can make their appearances, introducing the full group. They wouldn’t appear much more, but they would make it very clear that they’re not after the Silver Crystal so the senshi can have the whole “they’re not our allies, but they’re not our enemies either?” thing.
After the finale of S1, I like the idea of the Starlights noticing the senshi have forgotten about their identities and Figher being sad, but deciding that it’s better this way.
They could have a bigger part during the Makai Tree arc because that arc is great and I don’t care if it’s filler, where maybe they can sense something similar to Kakyuu’s light in the Makai Tree or something. Seiya and Usagi could meet while Mamoru is away as their civilian selves, and of course, Seiya falls for Usagi right away without knowing she’s Sailor Moon. Usagi however rejects him, because she’s still hoping Mamoru will return to her. When he does get his memories back and all that, Seiya stays friends with Usagi without telling her about his feelings.
And then during the Black Moon arc. Seiya could become a sort of emotional support for Usagi; she’s not sure why she likes talking to him so much, but it’s like he gets him in a way no one else does, not even her best friends. They grow especially close then Mamoru and Chibiusa go through the whole Black Lady thing. By this point, the Starlights are still focused on searching Kakyuu and only get involved in the other’s fight when they happen to be there or it’s something very serious, but they’ve become a sort of “sometime-allies we can rely on when something goes wrong”.
But then, of course, the Death Buster arc happens, and Uranus and Neptune are immediately wary of the Starlights since they’re from outside the solar system. They could go from suspecting them of working with the Death Busters, to attacking them on-sight. At the same time, Haruka meets Seiya while he’s hanging out with Usagi, and distrusts him right away. Partly because she feels “he’s just dangerous” and partly because let’s be honest she’s a bit mad that Seiya gets better reactions from Usagi than she does. Through this whole arc, Mamoru and Usagi begin to drift apart as she starts relying more on Seiya than on him, but she always denies the possibility of having romantic feelings for him, especially because she knows that Chibiusa existing at all depends on her staying with Mamoru. This however does nothing but strain their relationship even further.
Before the end of the arc, the Starlights would explain to all the senshi that they’re looking for Kakyuu, so Uranus and Neptune can stop trying to kill them for one second.
The Dead Moon arc is all about ChibiUsa and Usagi, and by this point, it’s undeniable that Usagi likes him too. Chibiusa could actually talk to Helios about this in her dreams, and how she’s actually scared Usagi will choose Seiya over Mamoru and either create a paradox or straight up kill her.
I would use Nehelenia’s motivation in this point as a way of separating the current Usagi (and by extension, Mamoru and everyone else) to their Silver Millenium selves. In Death Busters Uranus and Neptune are affected by their destiny in a positive way (they’re soulmates who can finally reunite, much like Serenity and Endymion) but in a negative way, when they think there’s no way to stop Saturn from destroying the planet. Now, when Usagi senses how much Nehelenia hated Serenity and her mother, she would feel sorry for her. Usagi had nothing to do with Nehelenia’s punishment and feels like Queen Serenity did a bad thing she can’t excuse. By creating this crack in the perfect image of the Silver Millenium, Usagi would begin to question if just because Serenity loved Endymion that means she should love Mamoru unconditionally.
And then of course, the Stars arc!! By this point, Usagi and Seiya are very close and both have feelings for the other, the Sol senshi trust the Starlights in varying degrees, and Usagi isn’t sure if she truly loves Mamoru and wants to fulfil her destiny. By the time Mamoru goes to America, he tells her they should “take a break” while they’re away so they can sort their feelings out.
I would also have Mamoru actually get to America instead of being kidnapped by Galaxia. Enjoy your education, boy!
Usagi tells Seiya rather quickly about this development, and they get even closer than before. Chibiusa hasn’t returned to the future yet, either because she senses it’s unstable or because she’s too worried about Mamoru and Usagi to leave them. She can tell Usagi that she knows how she feels about Seiya and that she’s broken up with Mamoru, and that she’s afraid of what that means for herself. For a while, Usagi starts avoiding Seiya because every time she thinks of him, she imagines Chibiusa disappearing and she can’t bear to choose between the two of them.
Then one day, Seiya gets targeted by one of Sailor Galaxia’s lackeys, and Usagi has no choice but to transform in front of him, revealing her secret identity. Seiya is surprised, but before he can say anything, Usagi runs away.
Seiya isn’t sure what to do, and she can’t even tell Taiki and Yaten about it because it would betray Usagi’s trust. One day, Seiya finds Usagi crying under the rain (or maybe the moonlight?) as she feels the weight of the whole world is in her shoulders. Seiya reaches out to Usagi, but she pushes him away when she thinks about hurting ChibiUsa. Seiya takes her hand anyways and holds it to his chest, telling her to look after her own happiness instead of the happiness of others for the first time. Usagi cries, and Seiya wipes her tears off. She then says “you were crying that time too at the jewel shop”, and Usagi isn’t sure what he means. Seiya transforms in front of her, showing her her true self.
This only makes Usagi confused for a second before she realizes that of course, it makes so much sense now. In a moment where she allows herself to think of her own happiness, she kisses Seiya.
She then rushes back home, suddenly afraid that she’s made Chibiusa disappear, but to her surprise she’s still there, alive and well. Chibiusa is suspicious of Usagi’s actions, but she leaves her be.
Shortly after this, before Seiya and Usagi have the chance to properly explore their relationship, the rest of the inner senshi have to transform in front of the Starlights (and vice-versa). By this point their relationship is much less tense than in the canon (both groups think of the other as allies, and now they’re united under the same enemy), and while Haruka still doesn’t like Seiya too much, she accepts her when Usagi defends her.
Eventually, the final battle comes, and in this version, I’d actually like Galaxia to be the villain not because Chaos corrupted her and she doesn’t have a Starseed, but because she became bitter and angry by the mere act of having to fight Chaos over and over again.
Turns out Sailor Galaxia isn’t just the most powerful Sailor Senshi of the universe; she’s the most powerful Sailor Senshi of all universes. Each time Chaos is born, she travels to that universe to destroy it. She’s been doing it since the dawn of time and is now so tired of her destiny that she just joins Chaos willingly.
So during the final battle (which honestly I’d leave almost the same because that battle is amazing), Usagi makes Galaxia see that she doesn’t need to keep on fighting just because someone decided it was her destiny. The existence of the Silver Crystal, the Golden Cyrstal and Kakyuu prove that Chaos can be fought against by other people, and that she’s already done more than enough. By realizing this, Galaxia lets go of Chaos, and by joining forces with Sailor Moon (and maybe with all senshi there present, even if it’s in spirit form), they manage to destroy Chaos.
I didn’t mention her anywhere else but ChibiChibi is here! And in this version, she actually is Sailor Cosmos, who’s awakened after Chaos disappears. She tells Usagi and Galaxia that Cosmos and Chaos will always be in battle, but that as long as people don’t let it consume her, peace will reign through all universes.
So the peace is restored, and the Starlights have to go back to Kakyuu. All senshi share a farewell in the school building, where Seiya struggles to let of Usagi and she has to try her best not to beg her to stay. Mamoru (who was captured during the final battle but is OK now) notices how Usagi hasn’t looked at him the way she looks at Seiya in years, and catches up very quickly. Seiya says that going back to restore her planet with Kakyuu is her duty, to which Usagi can’t say anything, because she feels she too has a duty to fulfil on earth.
But as they’re flying off into space, Yaten Taiki and Kakyuu tell Seiya that she’s already done more than enough. Seiya looks at them for a moment, when Usagi breaks down and cries, begging her to stay. Seiya leaves the space teleportation whatever the Starlights were using and jumps towards Usagi, who only barely manages to catch her. Everyone laughs and they kiss.
Later, they discuss whether or not this changes their destiny, since Chibiusa has never seen Seiya in the future. Setsuna could then explain that they may as well have created a new universe where nothing is set in stone, and that their future is now in their hands.
----
...And that’s that!! SORRY THAT WAS SO LONG asfshkgjhdfgksd. I know this fandom is very small so if anyone wants to idk expand on this idea or change anything or use it for something please go ahead!!! More seiusa content is always welcome. I hope you enjoyed this really long read!

Omen of the Stars Rewrite (Part 1, Spoilers, duh)
Halfway through, Starclan realizes that they choose the wrong cat to give powers to.
They realize Ivypool is more capable, and ends up giving her a power while removing Dovewings (Pretty good twist, right?!?! I love it <3)
Dovewing is extremely confused, and tries to talk to Firestar about it
Jayfeather and Lionblaze’s powers get stronger (Dreamstalking and Lion’s Strike), while Ivypool’s start to surface
Ivypool gets “Dark Spirit Powers”, which are directly connected to her emotions. Her eyes will go dark, and she’ll get a superpowered form to intimidate and become a shadow cat. She kinda turns into mist???? It’s like a form that can walk through walls and feel dark power. (It’s awesome)
Some days her eyes flash a yellow (Her eyes are full yellow when she transforms) and she will sometimes see herself with black, misty paws
It was finally revealed when Ivypool darts into the forest with Lionblaze, Jayfeather, and Dovewing trailing her behind. Dovewing insults Ivypool, claiming that she is the “Better sister” and “A chosen one” because of the whole stress of the situation. Ivypool, insulted, runs off into the forest with the three running after her. A star begins to form on her head, and she turns into her shadow form, trying to protect herself.
The whole Flametail plot line was drawn out for way too long, as well as weird? Getting rid of that
The whole “Ivypool gains powers, Dovewing loses them” would happen around book four-ish or three
Hollyleaf comes back in book 3, and all are glad to see her come back (She didn’t reveal anything at the gathering, Ashfur did. He was killed by Squrrielflight in retaliation)
Breezepelt dies. I don’t make the rules, sorry. Wait, yes I do. He dies, because why not? I don’t like him
Sol will come back in later books as a major villain instead of the next ark
Hollyleaf becomes good friends with Ivypool
Awesomely, Hollyleaf does not die! Nope, instead she gets wounded over an eye. She does not lose her sight, but she now has a scar over her left eye.
Sol ends up dying and being sent to the dark forest because he does believe in Starclan, but still thinks they are stupid
Ivypool has group of close friends this time, and is a lesbian (Yes, I am self projecting lol)
Ivypool’s mate is name is Rainfall, a gentle cottagecore lesbian with extreme anxiety and a fantastic hunter. When she found out about Ivypool’s “monstrous side”. She didn’t care, just hoping she would be ok
