Word Count: 1.7k
Warnings: None, Just pure fluff, Mentions of Alcohol, Slightly Sober Drew, Drunk reader, Confessions, Kissing, Sweet ending.
A/N: This is a second fic dedicated to @ribbonprincess for her birthday! shhhh i'm a lil behind but love you beautiful<333
BIRTHDAY FIC 2/2
You and your cast members went out for drinks tonight. You are celebrating because you just finished filming season 3. You played as Rafe's love interest and supposed savior.
You got really close with Drew more than anything given the amount of scenes you guys had together. Granted you grew close with everyone on the cast, Drew was your favorite but of course you would never admit that.
You guys went to a little mini bar by your apartment complex that you all lived in, (Seperate floors and rooms of course) and you guys got all dressed up.
You were met by some paparazzi and some fans on the way out of your hotel but you guys didn't mind as you guys weren't in any rush. You all took pictures and posed and even signed things if asked.
Once that was over you all got into the car and drove away. You guys listened to music and jammed the whole way there.
Once you guys arrived at your destination, you are so excited yet nervous at the same time.
You loved going out but it was always hard especially when the love of your life was always going to be there and always suggesting to go out.
"Drew! Put me down!" you scream out while laughing as your conversation with Madelyn about something was interrupted.
"Nope, no can do peaches, gotta make sure you don't get your princess shoes dirty." Drew whispered in your ear.
You nervously giggled holding on to him tighter. He holds you in his(Big, handsome, strong and sexy) arms for a little longer while Chase confirms the reservation for tonight.
Once you guys were in, Drew finally put's you down. "M'lady." he says as he bows in front of you to let you walk first. "Hm. Thank you kind sir." You say in the best british accent you can muster up.
He chuckles and you giggle as you walk closer to Chase and put your arms around Chase.
"Hey bunny." He says to you wrapping his hands around your waist and furrowing up your hair.
"Heyyy! I told you not to call me that anymore Chase!" you say puffing your bottom lip out and stomping your foot down.
"Ok fine, then should I call you thumper? You do know how much you act like a bunny right?" He says laughing.
You punch his arm and sit down in the booth that the waitress guided you guys too.
Your in front of Chase but next to you is Drew. You look up at him and admire him as he sits down and takes his order.
The waitress is going down the line of your cast mates before she finally get's to you.
You give her your order which is the same as Madelyn's. She was your best friend, you could talk to her about anything. She was like a sister to you.
She was the only one out of the entire cast that knew you liked Drew. You didn't exactly tell her she kind of figured it out on her own.
She was a bit of an observer and she would watch how much chemistry (as she likes to call it) you and Drew had on certain scenes, or just being together in general.
You loved Drew, you could say it a million times and it would never sound like a lie.
Drew was the best person in your life right now. Yes, you had Maddy but there was something about Drew that just made everyday a better day when you were with him. Everyday was never dull when you were with Drew. It was filled with happiness and fun.
"Alright guys. I don't know about yall but i'm trying to get hella wasted." You say and everyone starts laughing and aggreeing.
"Wait but someone needs to stay sober to get us all home." Madison says.
"1 2 3! NOT IT!" Everyone except Drew says. "You guys are doing this like i'm not the one that drove you all here in the first place." He says chuckling at everyones childish behaviour.
"Drinks on me?!" You yell going up to the bar while you guys are waiting on the food.
"Bet!" Jonathan and Rudy say at the same time before bursting out laughing. You laugh and scoot out of the booth after Drew gets up.
"Hey I'll come with you, can't hold all those drinks yourself girl." Madelyn says.
You smile at her as you both walk away to the bar to get 12 shots of tequila.
'So, when are you gonna tell him?" Madelyn asks. Your head immediately spins towards her and your eyes are wide.
"Uhmm ha, real funny Mads, i'm not doing that." You say turning back to all the dancing people.
"But this could be your only chance to tell him!" Madelyn says. You look back at her.
"Oh really, and how do you suppose I actually grow the balls to do it. Plus, this is supposed to be a fun, calm night with all of us together. Celebrating season 3 of Outer Banks. I don't wanna embarrass myself on this wonderful night in front of everyone." You say to her before the waiter comes around with your drinks.
"Hey, can we also get some beers please and thank you!" Madelyn says to prolong this conversation. The waiter nods and smiles at you both.
"But, what if I made a plan? Created like a diversion maybe? Like idk invite evryone to dance but then you keep Drew waiting and then you guys talk for a bit." She suggests with a smile on her face.
"Yea that could work, but you know how much drew loves to dance." You say already taking a shot or two.
It's as if a lightbulb appeared over Maddy's head the way her face lit up. "What if, you get so wasted that you confess to him. I'll still let everyone go dance once we get enough shots in us and then you can confess to him." She says taking two shots with you as well.
You face screws up but before you can say anything Madelyn speaks, "Yea that decision is final." She says with a smile on her face before bringing the shots towards the table.
You smirk and shake your head before grabbing the beers that the waiter passed towards you.
When you make it back to the table people are already taking shots and interacting. Everyone seems a lot more loose now and more livid.
"WHO WANTS BEER!" You yell over the music so they can hear you. They cheer and so does the crowd, but there cheering for a different reason.
You pass out some beers to everyone and then chug down some shots.
Your a lot more loose now that your tipsy and you feel like doing something spontaneous.
You walk over to the bar and stand on the table with the permission of the waiter and he helps you up since your in high heel black boots.
"I have an announcement to make my fellow partyers! ALL DRINKS ARE ON MEE!!!" You yell out and everyone starts cheering and you pop open a bottle of champagne filling everyone's cups.
You ask the waiter for a couple beers and tell him that everything is gonna be on your tab. He smiles at you and nods.
You hand beers to people in the crowd and your taking more shots. Your turnt now. Dancing on the table still and then hoping down to dance in the crowd.
Your dancing when you feel a hard chest behind you and hands on your hips. You don't even look to see who it is and you start grinfing and dancing on them with a shot glass in your hand.
You dance on this perosn for about five minutes before you turn around and put your arms around there neck. You open your eyes and realize it's Drew.
Your eyes widen and you lightly push off him muterring a sorry.
"Your hype aren't you?" He asks with a smirk on his face. Your face is hot now and you can't control the smile that appears o your face.
"Even though your drunk you still look so adorable." He says putting his hands back on your hips and bringignyou closer to him.
Drew has been teasing you like this all night. You just wanted to tell him how you feel. You wanted to say it so badly that your throat was burning and not just from the alcohol.
"Hey Drew!?" You say his name so lovely that he melts. "Yes princess?" He replies.
"I'm in love with you. I've loved you for a while now and I just never had the courage to say it. I know i'm like really fucking drunk right now but I'm so in love with you it makes my heart hurt! Everytime I see you I get butterflies in my stomach. I love you Drew Starkey, I always have." You say dancing slowly with him.
He stares at you with a goofy lopsided smile on his face.
"Hey, I'm still sober but i'm a bit tipsy and I heard everything you said and my input on that is I love you too. Not platonically but romantically. I've thought about you all the time. It was like love at first sight. I fell in love with you from day 1 and I wanna be the one that is in your life forever. Will you make me the happiest man on earth and be my girlfriend?" He confesses.
You smile so much that your cheeks hurt. You feel like crying! You shake your head yes and grab his face and kiss him. You kiss him so hard he's stumbling back a bit but he catches himself.
He slips his tongue between your lips and you both kiss passionately on the dance floor.
You hear cheering behind you and you see Chase and Madelyn and the rest of the cast cheering for you and Drew.
Some others who are most likely fans are recording the moment as well.
Today was a good night. You finally got your prince and you were going to make sure you guys had your happily ever after...

I need a friends to lovers hurt/comfort fic from you pleaseeee. My request is that reader is upset because something happened with her family and she got daddy issues or something (definitely not projecting😜🥰). matt doesn't know what's wrong tho but tries to cheer her up by getting her a cake or something and then as she's eating she starts unintentionally slowly crying and she tries to hide it but matt ofc notices it straight away. he tries to comfort her but before they could get further and she could start opening up nick & chris came in and she immediately stops and pretends to be fine. they joked around and stuff cuz nick & chris are oblivious to everything the whole time and matt is just impatiently waiting for the time when they get to be alone so he can talk to her and figure out whats wrong. maybe later in the night when everyone's asleep he finally approaches y/n and then they slow talk and he just comforts her and idk just more fluff at the end? change whatever you'd like I'd just be happy enough if you even decide to do my request. thank u and ily <3

summary: Over the course of working together for years, Matt picks up on everything and despite not understanding it completely, he comforts you through the hurt.
—
“Sorry I’m late,” your voice is choppy as you try catching your breath. Quick fingers work towards tying your apron around your waist before flying towards your hair and throwing it up in a haphazard pony tail. You’re an hour late for your shift, an extremely rare occurrence for you.
Matt, who’s currently working the grill, feels a wave of relief wash over him at the sight of you. As the night progresses, the diner is slowly picking up to a steady, busy pace and without a waitress, Nick, Chris and Matt would never survive.
“No worries, I’m just glad you could make it,” he replies. Matt’s eyes always have a habit of dancing over your entire face, today being no exception. He notices the dark circles that formed under your eyes, your sunken in cheeks, and how pale your skin is. Details like this never went unnoticed by Matt, especially not on a day as important as today, and, despite how disheveled you look, he can’t help but be enthralled by your beauty
An array of plates and trays are sprawled on the order window, each of them piled with greasy, hot food. You wear a disassociated, blank expression as you reply, too focused on catching up on the work at hand, “Is this food ready to be sent out?” You yank a ticket from one of the trays, briefly reading Nick’s messy handwriting to ensure everything was correct.
Matt hums in response, deeply intrigued as to what ails you, but not wanting to press any further. As soon as you hear that, you become a task bot and effortlessly send the orders out.
Your incredible work ethic is directly fueled by your need to distract yourself from the reality of your life. It’s your 21st birthday, a day that for most people involves a fancy brunch, meaningful gifts, a scrapbook full of photos, and a drunk night out. 21 was supposed to feel magical, every aspect about this day was meant to be special and perfect.
But you aren’t most people, and your life was anything but perfect.
Your mother has been in and out of your life since you were 8. She was an amazing mother, when she was sober at least, but your parents were always arguing, mostly because your dad worked a lot and it made your mom feel neglected and lonely. The arguments filled her with enough sadness to lead her to drinking and one day her alcoholism consumed her until she just never returned home. You were 13 the last time you saw her, and you spent your entire adolescence blaming your dad for being the reason she left.
So, from the age of 13, you stopped being a kid. While other children were watching morning cartoons before school, a fussy 2 year old rested on your hips as you tried braiding your 8 year old sisters hair. All the while your dad was working grueling hours in order to keep a roof over your heads. His hard work went unnoticed, instead being met with resentment from you.
It wasn’t until you turned 18, when your father suddenly passed of a heart attack, that you realized how much weight and responsibility rested on his shoulders. Upon his passing, your siblings were placed under your official guardianship. It was the inheritance you never asked for, but as the oldest sister you had no other choice.
So, instead of spending the day with friends, you’ve been forced to pick up your parent’s slack. You have two younger siblings at home who have no one else but you. All day you’ve been basically running after them, tending to their needs and trying to make their lives a little less unbearable. And although they’re your pride and joy, the absolute most important part of your life, you can’t help but wonder what life would be like if they weren’t your responsibility.
The trauma and grief has led your siblings to be more of a handful than other kids their age. Your 17 year old sister, Safiya, finds herself falling into the wrong crowds. Money is tight which has led her to develop a habit of shoplifting. It was simple and harmless at first, consisting of her pocketing items such as nail polish and candy bars. But eventually she and her friends were running out of stores with duffel bags full of clothes, the adrenaline that came from being chased by police officers being better than any drug.
On the other hand, your 10 year old brother, Giovani, struggled to make friends. Every week you were receiving at least one phone call that he’s gotten into yet another fight. There’s an inconsolable anger inside of him that causes him to lash out at anyone that isn’t you or Safiya, and when you’re not worried about his temper, you’re nagging him about his failing grades.
Needless to say, your life was not easy. Everyday you played the role of mother, and you often found yourself asking God what you did to deserve this; what you did to deserve a 21st birthday, a life, full of nothing but sorrow and struggle.
“Happy birthday, girl!” Nick whispers excitedly, pulling you in for a quick side hug as you reenter the kitchen. Matt watches as your lips form a tight lipped smile, your sad eyes giving you away immediately. You’re grateful for the sentiment, but still can’t muster up enough energy to actually feel excited.
“Thanks, Nick. I appreciate it,” you return his hug, immediately returning to work.
—
After a long, busy rush, your break couldn’t have come any sooner. The diner is quiet, the bustling atmosphere from before being replaced with nothing but the sound of groaning trees and the music that plays lowly from the jukebox.
“You going on break?” Matt asks, his arms submerged elbows deep in the sink. “Yeah I think so. I probably won’t get another chance to eat,” you comment. You look visibly happier than earlier, but there’s still a twinge of sadness in your voice.
“Alright, lemme just finish these dishes and I’ll make your food. Okay?” Matt’s voice is soft, almost like he knows that the reason for your sadness runs much deeper than an uneventful birthday. “No! It’s okay, I’ll just ask Chris to do it,” you say, ready to turn on your heels before he can protest.
His words catch you before you can, “I have a surprise for you! Just wait for me, please.” You lazily walk over to him and tiptoe, peering over the large, industrial sink to see how many dishes he has left. He basically has the whole kitchen sitting in the water, “You have so many left to wash though!”
A fake pout forms on Matt’s face, eliciting the first real laugh from you since you arrived. “You can help me?” he suggests, his eyelashes batting over his big doe eyes.
Your resolve crumbles quickly, you were never able to say no to Matt, “Fine, but only because Chris always burns the bacon.” You roll your sleeves up, cuffing them until they’re high enough to keep dry. The sound of clanging metal and swishing water settles between you two as you work towards washing the dishes before the next rush.
“How’s 21 treating you by the way?” Matt asks playfully, eyes momentarily glossing over you as he awaits an answer.
“Well I’m not drunk,” you chuckle, scrubbing at a tough spot on one of the pans. For some reason you feel safe with him, like you can tear your protective walls down and bare the most vulnerable parts of you. Over the course of working together, he’s become a true friend, an unjudgemental listening ear. Everyone else in your life has failed and disappointed you, but not Matt.
“You don’t have to be drunk to have fun,” he replies, hands wading through the sink for the next dish.
“True, but I’m not sure I’d categorize picking my little sister up from jail and getting my brother from school because he was expelled as ‘fun,’” your wet, soapy hands throw an air quote around the last word. You didn’t mean to trauma dump, especially not when the conversation started so light and airy, but you couldn’t help it. There were so many things on your mind, that up until this point, you had been actively ignoring.
“Bet you won’t forget this birthday, though,” Matt jokes, and you’re grateful it’s not a response laced with pity. You laugh, because it was true. One day none of this would matter, it would become an old folk-tale-like memory that you’d someday tell your children.
“Jail, though? Fuck, what did she even steal?” Matt shakes his head in disbelief, how a 17 year old girl managed to get into so much trouble was beyond him. A part of him did feel bad that you were the one struggling with these kids, but he never showed it because he knew how much you hated sympathetic, pitiful treatment.
“Some dumbass jeans that were 3 sizes too big,” you scoff, draining the sink. “I was so mad, I mean it was just juvie and they let her off with a warning because she’s a first time offender, but why the fuck was she stealing jeans? Can’t she steal useful stuff, like fucking milk or something?”
Matt laughs, running a white kitchen towel over his hands to dry them. “And Gio? Was he in on the heist too?”
“Oh please, I wish, maybe then he would’ve been let off with a warning too,” you take the towel from Matt, patting your hands dry as well. “This dumbass got expelled for fighting a kid who told him his shoes were fake. They’re not by the way, Safiya stole those too.”
“So now I have to enroll this kid somewhere else, if they’ll even take him. He has such a bad track record, Matt. I’ll probably have to move my sister to a different school too because she’s surrounded by so many bad influences… I don’t even know what to do,” your voice breaks slightly at the end, the sadness once again washing over you.
Matt brings you in for a quick hug, “let’s just worry about getting you fed for now, yeah?”
“Yeah,” you sniffle, wiping the singular tear that runs down your cheek.
As if on queue your phone starts ringing, your sister’s name illuminating the screen. “Hold on I gotta take this real quick,” you mutter, pulling away from the hug. He wishes he could keep you there forever and tell you everything would be okay, but instead he hums in response, watching you disappear out the back door with the phone pressed against your ear.
When the door clicks shut, he turns into the kitchen, throws some gloves on and begins making your food.
—
A stack of fluffy chocolate chip pancakes sits next to scrambled eggs and two strips of bacon. Matt knew your order by memory, one of the many details he’s learned about you over the course of your friendship.
Chris’s voice fills the kitchen, announcing his entry, “Does that look good? I don’t know, Nick said it doesn’t.”
While you and Matt washed the dishes, Nick and Chris decorated an isolated booth in the back of the diner. Balloons, streamers, and an iridescent tablecloth adorn the area. A small ‘Happy Birthday’ banner is strung from two parallel windowsills. It was something small and simple, but Matt knew you’d love it.
Matt peers over the order window, briefly examining their work before returning to the task at hand. “It looks good, it doesn’t have to be perfect. She’ll love it.”
Nick walks into the kitchen, fingers tying a knot in one of the balloons, “Are you sure? I’d be so fucking mad if that’s what I saw as my 21st birthday set up.”
“I’m sure. She’ll love it.”
Matt pokes two candles into the stack of pancakes, the number 21 sitting perfectly on the fluffy pastries. He used whipped cream, strawberries, and chocolate chips to create a simple design around the outer edges before drizzling some maple syrup on top. The bacon was broken up to create a smile on the eggs, a corny gesture he thought of last minute.
The back door suddenly opens, causing the triplets to freeze in place. They hadn’t figured out exactly how they were going to execute this, they’d only gotten as far as the decorations and the make-shift cake.
“Nick you go distract her, Chris go change the music in the lobby!” Matt instructs quickly, his voice hushed so you won’t hear him. They scramble into position, Matt managing to hide somewhere in the diner lobby where you won’t see him.
“Nick, what are you doing?” you laugh, feeling Nick’s cold hands cover your eyes. “Shush, no questions,” he replies, causing you to hold back more laughter. Nick leads you into the lobby slowly, your hands holding onto his as they still work to obstruct your vision. Matt watches as you two walk in, his hands shaking with excitement as he lights the candles.
“Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday to you!” the triplets begin to sing in unison, both Chris and Matt approaching the decorated booth. Nick removes his hands, a shocked expression immediately forming on your face.
As they continue singing the song, you admire the decorations in awe. Suddenly you’re a little girl, the random decorations being everything you needed as a child. The tears begin welling in your eyes, this was completely unexpected.
“Make a wish,” Matt whispers, bringing you in for a side hug as he holds the plate in front of you. You’ve never had a birthday cake before, let alone candles to blow a wish on. And although it’s simple, the makeshift cake is enough to bring the waterworks.
You squeeze your eyes shut, fat tears streaming down your face as you blow the candles out. There’s only one thing you can think to ask for, but you don’t dare verbalize it in fear that it won’t come true. The flame flickers, disappearing into a cloud of smoke as your wish floats away.
“Hey don’t cry! You’re 21!” Chris exclaims, shaking your shoulders in an attempt to lighten the mood, but you can’t help it. You’ve weren’t expecting any of this and it’s quite honestly the nicest thing anyone has ever done for you.
“Sorry,” you chuckle, wiping the tears away quickly. “Thank you guys for this. It’s beautiful,” you continue, bringing the trio in for a group hug. Nick and Chris are the first to pull away, leaving you clinging to Matt.
“You can thank Matt. This was all his idea,” Chris replies. Your arms are wrapped around Matt’s waist, a hug being the only way you can think to thank him. You look up at him, glossy eyes threatening to spill again.
“Happy birthday,” Matt murmurs, a smile forming on his face as he places the plate on the table and snakes his arms around you.
The moment is intimate enough to serve as Nick and Chris’s queue to leave. They sneak away into the kitchen quietly, giving you and Matt privacy.
“Thank you so much for this, Matt. You don’t know what this means to me,” you whisper, eyes locked with his.
“It’s nothing,” he shrugs.
“No, Matt. I really love this. Thank you.” A comfortable silence settles between you, the jukebox playing a calm melodic tune. You haven’t broken from the hug, swaying back and forth as you continue to admire the setup before you.
“Are you gonna try my cake?” Matt asks, using his chin to point towards the table. The whipped cream was beginning to melt into the spongy dough, strawberries and chocolate chips drooping down the edges.
“Mmm yeah, but I wanna stay like this just a little longer.” He doesn’t complain, instead pulling you in closer and resting his head on yours as you continue swaying to the music.
—
“That was really nice, Matt. Thank you,” it feels like the hundredth time that you’ve thanked Matt tonight. A half finished plate of food sits in front of you, the pancakes being enough to fill you up.
“You don’t have to keep thanking me, you know,” he laughs. Matt sits next to you on the same booth chair, using the balloons that cluttered the other side as an excuse to sit closer to you.
“I do, though. No one has ever done anything this thoughtful for me before... Not like there’s anyone left to do it,” the last part is hushed, he almost doesn’t catch it.
“C’mon, you’ve never had at least one birthday party?” He asks, his fingers play with one of the balloon strings. Despite knowing your tragic backstory, Matt finds the information hard to believe.
“Nope. This is the first cake I’ve ever had,” you admit, feeling sad at the confession.
“Well I hope you at least made a good wish,” Matt senses your shift in emotion, so he’s trying to remain positive.
“Yeah…” your voice trails off, fingernails scraping and picking at the plastic table cloth.
“Are you gonna tell me what you wished for, or are you superstitious?” Matt props an elbow on the table, resting his head on the palm of his hand as he looks at you. The moonlight from outside shines through the window, working alongside the dim diner lighting to illuminate your beautiful face. Your hair is down, the loose strands that keep falling in front of your eyes tucked behind your ears.
The question has you serious and embarrassed, “I’m not superstitious, it’s just a really corny wish.” He gives you a knowing look, one that encourages you to continue.
“You won’t make fun of me?” you ask, looking up at him tentatively.
You take a deep breath, rubbing your thighs in an attempt to ease your nerves before admitting something completely vulnerable, “I wished my dad was still here.”
“I know it’s never going to happen, I’m not naive, but I’ve never had a candle to wish on before so I just… I just wanted to make it count. I know it’s dumb—” your words are quiet and Matt cuts you off.
A gentle hand pulls your attention to him, his thumb caressing your cheek, “I don’t think it’s dumb.”
You don’t know what you did to deserve a friend as kind and loving as Matt. Another tear rolls down your cheek, swiftly being wiped away by Matt’s thumb. Even in your emotional state, you looked beautiful.
Subconsciously, Matt’s moving in closer to you. His eyes are flickering between your soft gaze and the plump lips that call out to him. Maybe it’s the atmosphere, the vulnerability of the moment, or maybe it’s the undeniable crush you’ve had on Matt for years, but your eyes flutter shut and copy him in leaning in.
His lips find yours quickly, you taste like maple syrup and whipped cream. You’re the perfect sweet treat to end such an eventful night. Your hands rest on his shoulders, slowly traveling to the nape of his neck as your lips mould together. Neither of you can seem to get enough of each other. His tongue slips into your mouth, eliciting a small moan from you.
The moment you pull away, you’re breathless. Foreheads are pressed together, eyes locking to keep the intensity of the moment.
“Happy birthday, beautiful,” he murmurs, going in for the next kiss of many.

ʚɞ ⁺˖ ⸝⸝ taglist: @dykepvppy @chig78 @nogenderblender9358 @mayasaurusss @jadeisnothere5 @ratsnestinmyhair (dm to update!)
Misty was so nervous, she’d been on a few dates before.. but this one just felt different. You two had met on a dating app, it instantly matched. You loved that golden smile, the way her locks framed her face and her little glasses making her look like a total nerd, totally your type. There was something so attractive about smart people, right?
Misty was just getting dressed, wearing a beige top with a nice cutout, showing just enough clevage. She wore a pair of light jeans along with that, doing her makeup nicely and applying some lipstick. Her nails were done a nude colour, almond shaped.
-
Misty pulled into the driveway of the restaurant, anxiety gnawing at her. She took a deep breath to calm herself and got out of the car, seeing you waiting infront of the entrance.
You gave her a soft smile, waving. She walked up to you and you pulled her in for a hug. “God, you look even better than your photos.” you murmed into her ear, running a hand through her hair. Misty smiled brightly and returned the embrace - when you pulled away she fixed her glasses. “Thank you.. so do you.” she gave, looking up at you with innocent eyes. You took her hand, guiding her inside and towards a corner booth. You two sat down - your eyes raking over her appearance. “Gorgeous..” you hummed, a blush crept onto Misty’s cheeks. Biting her lower lip and looking away shyly she murmed another “Thank you..” You could tell she loved the praise, it turned her on. Good.
You two ordered food and wine, chatting about your live’s and dreams. Yall matched perfectly, the chemistry was obvious. God, you were gonna take her home at any cost (haha yes, on the first date :3). As you two finished eating, you reached over the table - softly caressing her hand, she was getting a little tipsy from the wine she had - looking at you with bright eyes. “Whats on your mind, hmm?” you asked her, she bit her lip. “Youre just so.. perfect.” she whispered. You felt your arousal highen, a smirk tugging at the corner of your lips. Your hand went to her cheek, caressing lightly before grazing your thumb over her lower lip. “You mind if i steal a kiss, Misty?” you asked her, your voice raspier than before. She shook her head. “I dont mind..” and so you leant in, lips brushing together - tasing the alcohol on hers. Misty’s eyes closed, giving into your dominance. She whimpered softly, you deepened the kiss, hands cupped her face, holding her in place. You quickly pulled back with a chuckle. “Not here.” Misty nodded and you gestured for the server to come have you pay, you left a generous tip and smiled at the waitress.
-
You pushed Misty into your apartment, lips connected, tounge’s tangling as you shoved her into the bedroom. Both sluped down on the bed, you straddling her hips - hungry gazes meeting. “Please..” she whispered, hips needily bucking against your clothed pussy. A small chuckle escaped your lips, hands moving to lift her top over her head, throwing it aside carelessly. Your soft hands connected with her chest - cupping her breasts and massaging softly, thumb brushing over her bra-clad nipple. A moan rang in your ears, smirking at her. You slid down between her legs, pulling down her zipper before throwing her pants aside, you slid down her panties, dragging a finger through her wet folds before leaning in to place a kiss on her swollen clit. The noise she made was driving you crazy, your neighbours definitely heard.. but who cares??
Your tounge slid over her slit before sinking in, tasting the sweetness before letting your lips wrap around her clit - feeling it pulse, you gently bit down and she cried out. “Please.. i-i wont be able to hold any longer..” Misty gasped, her nails digging into the bedsheets - a low chuckle rumbled in your throat as you pushed two fingers up her cunt, curling them. Her hips bucked and you knew she was fighting so hard not to cum already, your fingers pumped in and out - lips devouring her soaking clit. Finally, you felt her tighten around your digits, you sucked harder, fingers slamming into her by now. Her hips bucked, loud cry’s of your name rolling over the tip of her tounge, her legs trembling as she rode out her orgasm. A soft kiss came down on her pussy before you pulled back, grinning at her. “Now you look.. exhausted.” you teased, your only answer was a “hmm.” as she pulled you to lay next to her, nuzzling her face in your neck. It was like you’ve known eachother for ages, made for one another.
Sunlight peeked through the slits of the blinds, casting a warm glow over yours and Misty’s bodies, your arm was draped over her - her face buried in your chest. Slowly, she stirred, a soft yawn leaving her lips as she looked up at your sleeping form - a finger flying along your bottom lip. Your eyes fluttered open, smiling down at her. “Well good mornin.” you hummed, hand sliding up her back and to the nape of her neck, pulling her in for a kiss. „Sleep well?“ she hummed against your lips, you nodded, hand moving to cup her ass. “Hmm.. i cant wait to make you scream again tonight.” you teased playfully, her eyes widened - oh that puppy dog look. “Stoooop! Now i want it..” Misty whined, a grin etching onto your face as you slipped a hand between her thighs. “Fine.. fine.”
AN: I dont even know what this is but i tried >~< hope you like it!!

Slow Ride | Chapter 1. Where it all began
As a single mother moving back into her childhood home with her older brother, Lyla thought her life couldn't go downhill. But when her new past decides to show up, the mysterious mechanic named Hangman who works at her late father's shop decides to step up and help her with this ugly situation. Over time Lyla and Jake get to know more of one another, hopefully getting to break down his walls of tattoos, and bad boy persona and more of Jake instead of Hangman. maybe even more.
Warnings: Mentions of parental death, mental abuse, alcohol use, swearing, angst, a whole lotta fluff, and eventually smut 18+
You were at your last straw. It felt like your life was going down the drain. It seemed like you were getting no support from your fiance at all. You found out that Chris was laid off a couple of weeks ago. Since he was at home most of the time, you asked him if he could watch Nicole for you. Around where you lived daycare was a bit expensive. You were juggling two jobs as a waitress, just trying to save enough money to keep the lights on, and food in your stomach. You thought it was going to be an easy task for him to do, but it wasn’t.
You were already late for work, and you couldn’t change Nikki, so when you were getting yourself together you talked to him, “Hey I’m heading out. So could you change Nikki, and then feed her? I pumped this morning and I have some milk stored in the fridge. Just warm it up, and then could you put her down for a nap?” you ask him when you go and kiss your baby goodbye leaving her in her pack-n-play. “Yeah…sure. See ya later,” he says back. Not even looking at you. Didn’t even lift a finger, too focused on what was important on TV. You let out a sigh, grab your car keys, and off to work it goes.
A couple of hours later, you unlock your door. Hopeful to go in and have a nice bath, feed your baby, and get a good night's rest. But that didn’t happen at all.
When you walk in, you see Nicole in the same position in her pack-n-play. Crying her little eyes out. It seems that he never picked her up to get changed. You could see the cup of milk, but it was cold now. You went to pick her up soothe her, and get changed into new clothes, when you heard the front door open. You see Chris stumble into the apartment. He walks past you, and smells, ever reeks of alcohol. You try your best to keep your nerves in check when you try and talk to him.
“You left my baby alone while you got plowed, Chris?” “I was out for a couple of minutes, chill out.” you have never wanted to kill someone so much in your whole life up until now. “Chill out, I’m sorry that I have to work 2 jobs to keep this apartment afloat. All I ask of you is to change and feed her while I am at work. You could barely do that. You didn’t change her, you just threw the bottle at her, and you went out to get drunk.”
You see him come out of your shared bedroom, and walk toward you. “Is that a problem that I went out with my friends?” I try to speak up but he talks over me, “I’m stressed out, I’m looking for a job, on the other hand, I have to deal with you two brats all day. Let me go out for a couple of hours.” I try and walk away from Chris, so I can put down Nikki so she doesn’t have to see what happens if things get heated. “It is a problem, Chris. You left Nikki alone in the apartment. She could have gotten seriously hurt.” You are backing away, and he steps forward.
You try and make your way over to your baby’s room, but you can’t, you feel his fist in your hair, making you look up at him. “I don’t care, I own you and that little bitch anyways. The next time you question me, I’ll do a lot worse to that pretty little face.” He backs away, and you see him re-enter the bedroom. Scared out of your mind, you scramble over to Niiki’s bedroom and wait until he’s asleep.
You keep the door open to hear if Chris is asleep. Luckily you hear snoring in the next room. This is your make-or-break moment to leave. Finally to care for your daughter, and live in peace. Instead of fear, and dread for the rest of your life.
You try to slowly get up, and make your way over to your room. Using your tip-toes to walk across the floor, so he won't wake up.
Once you make it to your room, you try and grab your suitcase and grab random clothes off the rack. You didn’t care what you grabbed. Once everything you want is packed you grab everything and make your way back to Nikki’s room. You grab all of her clothes, toys, books, and anything that she might like to have with her. You pick your daughter up out of her crib and walk out to the living room.
You leave your keys to the apartment and make your way out of the nightmare you live and breathe every day. You pack everything in the trunk of your car, put it in drive, and make your way out as fast as possible.
Finally looking in the rearview mirror, hoping to never come back to that lace again. You’ll finally live your life in peace. Before you stop anywhere else, you want to see someone. Hopefully, they are available to see you too.
As you drive down the road you are so familiar with you drive by your dad's creation, ‘Bradshaw Mechanics and Repair Shop’ ever since you left this little town, the thing you missed was driving by your dad’s shop every day. your mom would tell you about how she and Dad met. Saying it was love at first sight, Dad always went above and beyond for their dates. Dressing up fancy, always bringing her flowers. Doing everything he can to impress her. Later on, after a couple of months of dating, he asks her to marry him. He didn’t have a ring because they had no money. But he always promised her that he would buy her one when they had money.
He started working at his father's auto shop, and later on passed it down to him. He saved up enough money, and he sure as hell bought me that ring. Later along the line, they had two beautiful children, and the rest is history.
You slowly drift from your thoughts when you are parked on the side of Your family home. Just standing in front of the house brings back so many memories from when you were younger. Sending chills down your spine. But try not to let your emotions get the best of you. So you gather some of your things, take your sleeping daughter out of her carrier, and try your hardest not to wake her. You try not to bump into all of the motorcycles that are taking up the driveway, and make your way up to the doorstep.
You knock on the door, and hopefully wait for someone to answer. Luckily you heard someone on the other side unlock the door, and open it.
You look up to see your brother, standing in the doorway with a surprised expression on his face.
“Lyla? What are you doing here? Are you okay? Is Nikki okay? What’s wrong.” He lets me into the house and wraps me into a bear hug trying not to squish Nicole. Now I need him to calm down. “Where fine Bradley. But I’m done with Chris. My now ex-fiancée. How are you doing thought,” asked him in a sarcastic tone, knowing it wasn’t the time. “I’m sorry for showing up like this, I hope I’m not interrupting anything.” But he waves you off. “If my baby sis needs anything, and I mean anything. I’ll always be here for you. Nat too.” I perk up when I hear Natasha’s name being mentioned.
All three of you grew up together, her house was a couple of doors down, and you two were practically sisters. Always having sleepovers, and making dinners. Mainly because her home life wasn’t the prettiest, so she became a part of your family from the first time you met. Your mom bought you a new bed that had a pull-out bed in the bottom so she could sleep somewhere comfortable, other than the couch.
Over the years you could see Nat starting to act more differently around your brother. The same goes for him. In the end, it was you giving Bradley the talk saying ‘If you hurt my best friend, I’ll kill you’ and him finally expressing his feelings for her, she also told him how she felt. They’ve been together ever since.
Suddenly she approached us with the same face Bradley had a couple of seconds ago. Also giving me the full rundown of asking if I and Nikki were okay, and why where we were there.
Assuring her that we’re fine. She speaks up. “Hey, why don’t I take you to the guest room, so you and the babes can lay down.” You give a nod, and you're being brought back to the guest room.
On the way to the room, you can get a view of the dining room. It it filled with people around the table, some still had their leather vests on, and some decided to get comfortable, and relax in the chairs. But one of them stood out to you.
He was big and broad, you could see the tattoos that traveled from his neck to his knuckles, on his by the way his long sleeves rested on his arms. You could see the veins pop out in his hands when he was writing something down. You were also trying to get a good look at his face, but his blond hair kept falling in the front. Before I could see him move some of his hair away from his face, I was led to the guessed room by Natash.
As I step into the room, I immediately sit down on the bed, Nat not too far away and sitting down next to me.
My nerves finally settled down, and my body was finally running out of adrenalin. There was complete silence, I finally rack out a sob, feeling tired from the journey you’ve had to deal with. You think Nat’s arms fall around my body, and bring me into a warm embrace. “I…I don’t know what to do Nat. He started grabbing my hair, he threatened to hurt my baby, I didn’t know what to do Nat.” you bring Nicloe closer to your chest, watching her little frame rise and fall with each breath. “Hey, you did the right thing Lyla, and don’t blame yourself. He was a prick who didn't have the right to walk the same earth as you, and you are such a wonderful mom to a beautiful baby girl,” she says to you while brushing some of the baby curls out of her hair. “I’m sorry that I showed up unannounced,” I say to her while sniffling, and wiping away some of my tears.
She waves her hand to me, “Don’t even start with that girl. Plus I miss having my best friend back home. Now with my beautiful God-daughter. She’ll also be surrounded by more uncles, they’ll make it hard for her to leave the house when she’s a teenager.” that made both of you end up laughing. After your lighter dies down there’s a calm silence.
“Okay, I’ll let you get settled, and get some rest, maybe later tomorrow you stop by the shop, and we’ll introduce you to the rest of the group. You just give a nod, and get myself situated in bed.
When I finally heard the door close, I let out a long sigh. As I get undressed I look over and see Nicole starting to squirm around. “Don’t worry babygirl, you’ll get fed in a minute.” I finally get situated in the bed, and lift her to get her to latch on. Once she starts to eat, I finally get to relax, getting the peace I deserve. I just have to realize that I’m safe, I’m with my family.
I’m finally home.
(Natasha’s POV)
As I shut the bedroom door, I could see Bradley’s eyes trained on me from the kitchen. As I walk over to him, he already has his arms open for me to come into. “She’s gonna be okay, she has us now,” he whispers in my ear. “She told me what he did. What he said to her. I can’t believe she’s had to live like that for such a long time.” “She safe with us, Nikki is safe too. I promise I won’t let anyone else near them.”
I just let out a sigh, not trusting that he would come down here.
“Roo, he knows where we live, what if he comes down here and takes them from us? She’s my sister. I don't want him to take them from us.” I say in a worried voice. “Pluse were going on that supply run for a couple of days. She can’t stay here by herself.” I look up and see him nodding in agreement with me.
“We need someone to watch her while she’s at the shop with us, and watch out for her when we're gone.” I can see him look around at the group, surrounding the table. But I see Bradley set his eyes on Jake. I snap out of my thoughts when I see everyone starting to leave. But I can see him walk over to Jake, and ask him to stay for a minute.
We watch everyone leave, we walk back into the kitchen seeing Jake still sitting at the table waiting to hear what we have to say.
“So, what’s up,” he asked while shuffling on his leather vest. I hear Bradley speak up to him. “We need your help, Hangman. I don’t know how to tell you but here it goes.” I can see a little bit of hesitation in his eyes but he continues. “My sister just got out of a rough situation. She’s still shaken up by what happened, but when she’s ready, I want to bring her down to the shop and get to know everyone.” I look over to see Jake's expression but there is none, I just see him nodding and looking at Bradley to finish.
“I also need to ask you a favor… When we were talking about that supply run earlier, I was wondering if you could stay back and watch out for her. You’re my best friend, I trust you the most,”
Without even a second thought he stepped up, “I’ll do it”
I hope you all enjoyed the first chapter. I have some plans for these to character. So let me know if you want more of this!!

[HADLEY MORGAN. 28. CIS FEMALE. SHE/HER] is here! They’ve lived in Asbury Park for [TWO YEARS] and are originally from [PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA]. They are a [VETERINARIAN] and in their downtime love [MUSIC] and [COZY GAMING]. They look a lot like [FlORENCE PUGH] and live in/on [PINE STREET]. The song that makes people think of them the most is [LIE TO GIRLS BY SABRINA CARPENTER]. (ooc: mandy, 37, she/her, pst)
Name: Hadley Grace Morgan
Age: 28, Birthday 1/3/1996
Sexuality: Pansexual
Pets: 2 year old Border Collie named Nixie. She got him shortly after moving to Asbury.
Occupation: Veterinarian
BACKGROUND
Came from a broken home, parents divorced when she was six, and her relationship with both was toxic and unhappy until she went no contact with them both at age 18
Was close with her mother's mother Geraldine, who lives in the house on Pine Street where Hadley now resides. She used to spend the summers with her Grandma in Asbury, but once she went to college they lost touch until Geraldine passed three years ago and left her the house.
Hadley grew up very motivated to do better than her mother and father; a waitress and mechanic respectively. Having a career that was fulfilling and also financially stable was important to her, keeping the financial security and organization of her life became her main focus through most of her twenties. She's ambitious, focused, definitely a bit of a workaholic, and she falls apart at the first sign of failure within herself.
She's loathe to admit that she was able to turn into a grownup who has her shit together in every aspect except romantic relationships. She carries a long list of bad exes and regrettable flings, people who she could look back and acknowledge were red flags from the very first interaction.
She met her most recent ex at 24 and thought she'd finally gotten it right. No red flags, great job, treated her with all the bare minimum respect anybody wants. Maybe they had a few too many drinks at the bar when they went out sometimes, maybe their need to have liquor in their hand the second they got home, but hey they were still in their twenties, and they always showed up on time, did great at work, charmed all her friends.
After the first year the decent from high functioning alcoholic began. Dates were missed, conversations became tense, income suddenly went down to just hers. Hadley told herself she wasn't being a welcome matt, but that struggling people deserved a chance or two to do better. All of her patience, all of her hope and empathy, went into helping her partner navigate sobriety, and for a few months she tricked herself into believing it was working, especially when her grandma died and her partner seemed to really show up for her in her time of grief.
The end for her was the day she found money missing from her wallet. Turning the car around from a planned outing with friends, she went back home to question her partner. Turns out she didn't need to ask any questions. The change from her money was on the foyer table, freshly bought liquor bottles on the coffee table and her partner naked with another person on the couch, both of them drunk and so invested in their activities that Hadley had a full two minutes to process the scene before she was noticed.
She'll never be proud of the scene she made in front of the neighbors, two naked bodies chased outside onto the front lawn while she screamed and threw liquor bottles onto the driveway. It hit her that her mother had once been in this same position. And god if there isn't no pain greater than realizing you dug yourself into the exact hole you swore you wouldn't.
She had originally planned to sell her grandmother's house and put the money towards sending her partner to a really nice rehab facility. Instead, she sold her Philly home, got a new phone, and hopscotched her way across the river to Jersey. A new place to take some deep breaths and recollect herself, try to make her feet walk a different path god damn it. Her grandma's old home feels like potential, like at least one blood related person in her life actually looking out for her.
HEADCANNONS
Loves music and vibes with a wide range of genres, she will give you your own ringtone in her phone.
Isn't trying to make a career out of it but does have a little twitch stream for her cozy game time and has a minor following she's comfortable with.
Is a chip-a-holic and will take down an entire bag of white cheddar popcorn or doritos by herself.
She will only drink socially, never by herself, and she will never have more than two, the second she starts to feel tipsy and out of control she gets super uncomfortable and switches to water.
Can be a bit morally grey when it comes to people but if you're mean to an animal you hit her shit list faster than you can say PETA.
CONNECTION IDEAS
Childhood friends from when she used to visit her grandma in the summers.
Clients of the vet clinic.
That person that keeps trying to get her super drunk cause you want to know what kind of drunk she'd be
Friday night karaoke bestie

ok i am finally home and it’s STORYTIME WITH THE WAITER !! *rubs hands together* long post btw my thoughts are very hectic i am sleep deprived and hungover so excuse me t-t
so last night we went to this place with 2 of my coworkers (that are also close friends of mine) — it’s a club restaurant actually, the music is chill and not so loud until about 10-10:30pm so you can eat and chat with friends and then after that it’s showtime (hot men put on a show, they dance and strip, the latter is not that hardcore btw). turns out they organize different shows every night so it’s not always that. ANYWAY, we had a waitress assigned to our table but the place was so full and she was busy running around catering to everyone so instead of waiting i asked the waiter in question for the menu :3 so he brought us 3 and was like “sorry my coworker is very busy, if she can’t handle all her tables i will gladly take care of you tonight”. guys he is super cute i tell you, he’s got that big smile on his face all the time and a super positive energy flowing from him + he jokes around with ease and just seems to be so easygoing and friendly and i find that so attractive NOT TO MENTION he is very handsome and has a beard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! sadly though he didn’t end up taking our table bc the waitress made it work somehow, she was super lovely btw <3 he was constantly passing by our table though and we both shamelessly stared at each other every time lmao
anyway as the night went on and we downed 4 bottles of wine and started dancing my mischievous coworkers invited him to our table for a bit and he did not decline even though he was working, he just casually sat down with us and behaved like we’ve always known each other ajksdskas. so we poured him a glass of wine, said cheers and then danced a bit AND THEN t-t my coworker took an empty water bottle and spun it on the floor (do you see where i am going) and it ended up pointing towards me and the waiter t-t and that same coworker was like “you have to kiss her now, these are the rules” and i was like :0 just standing there like :0 what :0 what :0 he then came to me and looked me in the eyes and put his hands on my cheeks but didn’t kiss me immediately, i think he was waiting for my reaction like i’m going give you 3 secs to push me away if you don’t want to but ofc I DID WANT TO KISS HIM so we in fact kissed.
after we were done kissing my coworker literally placed the bottle between us again, didn’t spin it this time just put it there between us like ok round 2 now, keep going KSJHDKSJSAA and he looked at me and was like “how about you kiss me this time” with a smug smile. part of me wanted to slap him but a bigger part of me wanted to keep kissing him so that’s that sigh we kissed again. HE IS SUCH A GOOD KISSER it’s not my fault :/
later we had some time to chat and exchange numbers etc.. and im glad we did bc i wanted to apologize to him for what my friends pulled with that orchestrated spin the bottle. and he was like “i am very content things turned out that way actually and i hope you don’t mind it either, and also — i hope you are single too” <- he looked so cute saying this that i ended up kissing him again help. then we talked some more and kissed some more. around 3:30am we had to leave bc we had work in like a few hours so i called a taxi and he waited with me outside even though he was still at work (i hope he did not get in trouble for that + spending a lot of time with us t-t) and then opened the car door for me and told me to text him when i get home t-t but i forgot bc i was a bit drunk and all i wanted to do was sleep right away so i just passed out. BUT HE CALLED ME and was like you home safe? and i was like yep yepp !! then i saw that he texted me a few times to check on me and maybe got worried that i did not reply so he called t-t
today he kept texting me all day casually updating me on how his day is going + asking questions about my day and etc. he sent me a selfie in the morning and was like “ok since you’re not drunk anymore can you please look at me and confirm that you still like me” LMAO he is so !! doki doki !! makes me laugh a lot but also i want to punch him sometimes bc he’s so smug but then again i can’t bc he’s also very cute and pretty t-t anyway i shall keep you updated on mr waiter v_v WAIT actually he’s also an engineer but works as a waiter too + he’s a foreigner but has been living here for a long time, knows the language fluently and has the cutest tiny accent when saying certain words IT’S SO CUTE anyway i need to take a shower now i am so tired t-t
#— ai rambles#he seems to good to be true like#i am thinking to myself WHAT IS WRONG WITH HIM THERE MUST BE SOMETHING t-t right?#also i love how he decided that we must absolutely see each other and was like im sorry work is rly busy but i am available today and on#sunday but today maybe you might want to rest after last night so i'll leave it up to you#t-t he's also considerate WHAT IS WRONG WITH HIM#t-t

[cis woman, she/her] Welcome to Aurora Bay, [CAROLINE KELLY]! I couldn’t help but notice you look an awful lot like [BRITTANY O'GRADY]. You must be the [TWENTY-SIX] year old [HOST AT WHEN IN ROME]. Word is you’re [OPTIMISTIC] but can also be a bit [STUBBORN] and your favorite song is [STRANGERS BY ETHEL CAIN]. I also heard you’ll be staying in [FISHER'S COVE]. I’m sure you’ll love it!
tw: parental death, tw: abandonment
Since childhood, Caroline's life always had curveballs thrown into it. Born to Antonia Kelly, a single mother on a hot, New Orleans night, Caroline was born two weeks early right on the living room floor, her birth so sudden that her grandmother Delphine barely had time to lay out towels and blankets and call an ambulance before there were newborn wails piercing the still night air.
Her father was never in the picture, and Caroline never got the full story. Some days she heard stories that he got cold feet and ran off, others that she was the result of a one night stand to a married man. Others even joked and said she was a product of voodoo, that her mother and grandmother wanted the Kelly family line to continue. Either way, the Kelly women all lived together in a quaint little home on the outskirts of town, Caroline's grandmother and mother letting her live freely and her days often being spent by the water, scabby knees and muddied clothes always faintly smelling of incense marking much of her childhood. It wasn't until she was twelve that she realized life wasn't as easy as they'd made it out to be.
New Orleans was known for wild parties and lots of alcohol, which meant lots of idiotic people doing idiotic things. Her mother was killed tragically in a hit and run, a drunk driver blowing through a red light when Antonia was walking home from work, killing her instantly- an instant that changed Caroline's life forever. It took a while after that for things to be 'normal' again in the house, Caroline retreating into herself somewhat, but over time (and with lots of love and patience from her grandmother) Caroline overcame her grief, finding solace in music.
Music had always been a big thing in their house, Duke Ellington and Billie Holiday and Miles Davis records almost always playing in the corner, and Caroline realized that writing things down helped, and soon, just writing down her feelings turned into writing down lyrics, her thoughts and emotions finding a much-needed outlet. She was fourteen when her grandmother gifted her a thrifted guitar and by sixteen Caroline was playing little gigs in bars she was too young to be in, crooning in little hole in the wall restaurants and busking on street corners instead of wasting her time doing homework, singing a mix of the classics and her own songs and loving every second of it.
As the years went on though and her grandmother Delphine got older, Caroline knew she needed to contribute more than just the tips she was making from singing, and she wasn't at all interested in high education, so once she was eighteen and done with high school, Caroline started working more full-time jobs anywhere she could- waitressing, bartending, pulling pizza slices out a hot oven, she did anything and everything she could so her grandmother didn't have to, just wanting to now take care of the woman who'd always taken care of her.
Things stayed like that into her twenties, with Caroline finding a balance and working all day before singing at night, both jobs bringing in enough money to keep them comfortable at home, and while Caroline dated over the years, nothing really stuck. Not until Dean anyways. She met him one night at a bar when she was twenty-two, heavily flirting but thinking nothing more would come from it except maybe a fun hookup--and while that did come from it, more did as well and what started as just sex soon turned into a real thing and Caroline fell hard. Suddenly all her songs were about him, everything was about him. They were dating for months when Caroline's life again got upheaved and she realized she was pregnant. But...she'd be fine. Because she had her grandmother and she had Dean--Dean who said he loved her and wanted a life with her. That is, until the daydreams all became a reality and history seemed to repeat itself, leaving Caroline pregnant and alone, just like her mother. And just like with her mother, Delphine stepped in and promised to help her with her pregnancy and with the baby and months later on a similar hot Louisiana night, Jordan Antoine Kelly was born.
Caroline didn't expect to become a mother so young, but then, nothing in her life really went to plan. She started singing even less, knowing she needed a guaranteed income since she now had three mouths to feed and her grandmother really only made money by creating protection charms and amulets and supplying herbs to botanica shops in town. It wasn't always easy, but they made things work, and by the time of Jordan's first birthday, they'd gotten a good enough routine down that Caroline could get back to performing.
So of course with her life settled again, the universe decided to throw in another curveball.
Delphine was old, and had lived a long life full of helping others and loving her family. She'd raised her daughter, and then raised Caroline, and was helping to raise Jordan, but it was finally time for her to rest and she passed away in her sleep one night in late September, the smell of rosewater and incense not even lit tickling Caroline's nostrils and shocking her awake--at least, that's what she chose to believe- the scent that marked her life wafting over her one more time in a pseudo-goodbye from the woman who'd been her cornerstone.
With her grandmother gone, Caroline was at a crossroads; she could stay in New Orleans, raise her son by the bayous that she grew up on, continue to work the same dead-end jobs and continue living her slow life here. Or, she could finally have a change. Her grandmother always wanted her to make more for herself, to get out and see more than what the town had to offer.
She remembered a chance encounter from months back on one of her performing nights, ending up speaking with a man for hours and practically pouring her heart out to this stranger as effortlessly as they poured whiskey. She remembered he spoke of a little beach town on the west coast. California seemed like a pipe dream, but now, well....there was nothing stopping her. So she sold her childhood home, making sure to keep every single prized possession of her grandmother's (and her mother's) and with a packed up moving truck and her now two year old son on her hip, Caroline went west, hoping that she'd find a life there that she could never quite get in Louisiana.

BIOGRAPHY
TW: alcohol, drugs, miscarriage, body shaming
TW DRUGS AND ALCOHOL: Tatum grew up in what felt like a very unloving or supporting household. Her father a drunk and her mother a drug addict. They were brought up in Hartley Avenue.
TW BODY SHAMING: Her parents seemed to favour her brothers and from a young age she could tell that her mother didn’t want her. She was never pretty enough, smart enough, she was always too ‘chubby’ for her mother. The older she got it felt as though her mother resented her.
She tried her hardest in school, she wanted to get good grades so that she could get out of Hidehill and leave her parents behind but the more her mother pressured her and told her she wasn’t smart enough the more she doubted herself. Her grades quickly dropped, she started skipping school and she had no idea what she wanted to do in life anymore.
TW DRUGS AND ALCOHOL: At 16 she started hanging with an older crowd, they liked to party so she joined in too but for the longest time she avoided touching drugs and booze because she didn’t want to end up like her parents. She went for a good time, hung out with friends, slowly but surely she gave in and started drinking.
TW DRUGS AND ALCOHOL: Drugs are something she never touched but once she ended up developing feelings for one of the older boys she wanted to impress him, she started drinking more to ‘impress’ him, she became more careless, the two of them would hang out alone and drink on the streets, before she knew it the two of them were hooking up and she fell pregnant at 17.
She could never tell her parents about it, she kept it a secret from them but her and the man she fell pregnant with decided they would keep it. They were going to find a place together, he was going to get a job and provide for the two of them and everything was going to be okay. It wasn’t logical but they talked themselves into the plan.
TW MISCARRIAGE: The two of them felt very loved up with the idea of their soon to be family, things were going great even though they were keeping everything very hush-hush. That was until Tatum miscarried at 8 weeks pregnant, she felt lost and heart broken and fell to pieces. Of course he left her too, he didn’t stick around to pick up the pieces or support her in anyway.
Once she was able to get out of her home she got herself a place in Hadley Park, she doesn’t speak to her parents and only speaks to her brothers occasionally, she has some sort of resentment to them because her parents clearly favoured them over her.

✦ MELISSA BARRERA, CISFEMALE, SHE/HER ✦ PENELOPE “NELL” SOTO the TWENTY-NINE year old has been in Hidehill for HER ENTIRE LIFE (LEFT FOR TWO YEARS AND THEN RETURNED) and was a FORMER STUDENT to Miyeon Kang, the murder victim. Whispers on the streets are that the WAITRESS AT MELS + STRIPPER AT THE VANILLA UNICORN who lives in HADLEY PARK are said to be LOYAL and PRIDEFUL but I guess we’ll find out for ourselves. WRITTEN BY MEL.
TRIGGER WARNING: cancer, alcoholism, death, car crash, addiction, rehab, poverty
⸻ 𝐁𝐈𝐎𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐏𝐇𝐘
Penelope Elena Soto, preferably called Nell was born the eldest of the Soto clan in Hadley Park, the oldest of five children. She grew up believing that everyone lived the way they did, close together, sharing space in the trailer with very little to their name.
Josephine and Luca Soto tried their hardest to keep themselves together, to make sure their children could have anything they wanted within limits. The older Nell got, the more she realized -- there were a lot of limits.
Very quickly Nell essentially became the third parent in the household. When her parents were at work, Nell was tasked with caring for her two brothers and two sisters by herself.
Nell had very few friends and very little time to make them. The moment it was legal, she was waiting tables at Mel's after school to bring money home for her family.
In High School she enters her first major relationship with Scarlet Santiago, who brought her a lot of peace. Even if they ended things when Scarlet went off to college, she carries the relationship close to her heart because it taught her how she deserves to be treated romantically.
Just like she expected, everyone of the few friends she had managed to make in her high school years went off to college. Everyone had been temporary, and she was alone again. A routine soon came about: wake up. Head in to open Mels. Stay until her manager would force her to clock out. Go home again. Start over.
It was here where the patterns began to start, the visits to Dead Dawg. After work she felt the pull for a drink, and it soon became difficult for her to end her day without one. It was her secret, a vice that she could hide from her family.
She meets Charlie Abbott at twenty-two, fresh from his NFL draft. He draws her in with his sweet words and promises, but words can only mean so much. The drinking stops for a while. But it starts again when she discovers that he had been unfaithful.
The drinking starts again, and in private it begins to get worse. Some time later she meets and falls in love with Viktor Henriksson and for the first time, she wonders if she an actually truly be happy.
Their relationship disintegrates, and as does she as she descends deeper into her private vice. This time, she begins to spiral. Like really, truly spiral following the death of her father, who got into a car crash and passed away on impact. She shows up drunk to work a couple days later where she proceeds to get fired, after having worked there since she was sixteen years old.
It takes one friend, someone who cared to tell her what deep down she already knew: she was an alcoholic. They gave her an ultimatum, I can drive you to rehab, or you'll lose me forever.
Nell checks into rehab and completes the program a year later, sober chip in hand. She protects it with all she has and it is her most prized possession.
She takes the first couple months to travel, before she gets a call from her mother: you need to come back to Hidehill.
She is met when she moves into a trailer of her own with her brothers diagnosis: cancer. He has cancer. From what her mother knew, it's unclear how much time he has left and there's little that they can do.
During this time she reconnects with one of her brother's childhood friends Ajay Rao, who helps her return to life in Hidehill and even stays in the car when she goes to ask for her old job back. The owner welcomes her back with open arms, proud of her for having gotten the help she needs.
She begins stripping at The Vanilla Unicorn, something that is unknown to her family to earn extra money. She can only contribute so much to her brother's medical bills on a waitress salary.
⸻ 𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐂𝐀𝐍𝐎𝐍𝐒
Vocalist, guitarist and songwriter for November Ends. Music is the one thing she uses to escape from being everyone else's caretaker and truly one of the only things she has for herself.
Goes by Nell most of the time because Penelope reminds her of someone's mother, and only allows Viktor to call her Penny.
Carries her sober chip in a pocket of her clothing, so she can remind herself of how far she's come.
Never stopped loving Viktor, even after her time away. This time, she'll be better for him. If there even is a next time.
more to come.

Welcome to Aurora Bay, [CELESTE ZHAO]! I couldn’t help but notice you look an awful lot like [NATASHA LIU BORDIZZO]. You must be the [TWENTY-EIGHT] year old [BARTENDER AT THE REEF BAR]. Word is you’re [RESILIENT] but can also be a bit [DISTRUSTING] and your favorite song is [RETROGRADE BY MAGGIE ROGERS]. I also heard you’ll be staying in [OCEAN CREST APARTMENTS]. I’m sure you’ll love it!
Celeste was raised by her single mother, jumping around from crappy apartments and motels for as long as she could remember. Her entire life she’d only been told one thing about her father: that the man had cheated on her mother and had abandoned them when Celeste was only a few weeks old. And with that being the main focal point of Cel’s relationship with men, she grew up not really trusting them, her mother’s bitter voice always ringing in her head: giving your heart away will always lead to heartache.
And her mother’s bitterness definitely helped form the type of person Celeste had turned out to be. As a child she had been sweet, had been one of the friendliest girls in school and always willing to help someone with their homework or give a hand in studying, but sometimes that kindness was used against her, people taking using it to their advantage and making her outright do assignments for her) but as someone who grew up being told she’d been given up, Celeste was willing to take any sort of ‘friendship’ or validation, willing to be a people pleaser if it meant having people in her life.
Especially since her life back home wasn’t exactly as pleasing.
Her mother had turned resentful at losing her husband and her life ending up going nowhere, and at times she even put the blame for it all on Celeste, saying she was to blame for her father leaving them since she’d never been a planned pregnancy. Her mother oftentimes would be drunk at night, passed out on the couch, or wouldn’t come home at night at all. Celeste never got absolute confirmation, but one could put two and two together as to why her mother would come home after a day or two with wads of cash. So whenever she was at home, Cel stayed in her room, turning to books and writing and art as her comfort. Soon enough she had a canvas in the corner of her room, paintings strewn throughout. She’d never be caught without a sketchpad, or without paint stains on her clothes. It was an escape and something that she was truly good at and was hers. But with the way her mother was, and how fake the ‘friendships’ she’d has was, Cel herself had started to turn more cynical. More closed off and bitter. She couldn’t truly trust anyone, and sure as hell couldn’t depend on anyone, so as Celeste got older, she got more closed off, which is how she still is now. Never let them close enough to have the chance to hurt you.
But despite her home life (or lack thereof) Celeste did pretty well in school, graduating high school with decent grades. She couldn’t afford college though--hell, they could barely afford to keep a roof over their heads. So instead of going to school, Cel just started taking odd jobs once they’d settled into a little town in Chicago, bartending and waitressing, anything that could pay the bills. Life went on like that for years until finally now, Celeste has had enough. She wants to start actually living her life for herself. So much so that she quit her job in Chicago, gathered up what little money she had and finally left home, and her mother, behind. Wanting to go somewhere completely new, she flew across the country to California, and arrived in Aurora Bay, quickly getting herself a job as a bartender (since it’s what she’s good at) and getting herself her own little apartment, ready to start fresh--because after all, where better to go to start your life over again than paradise?

Ideal No. 5
(1,325 words)
It seems that the more I try not to pay attention to Dazai the more of my attention he takes. It almost makes me think he would prefer I yell at him and scold him, but I won’t because if I say one word to him it will become ten and so on until I’m so deep in I’ll never be able to escape.
I feel a presence behind me at my desk,“Oi Kunikida-kun~~~”
I say nothing.
“Did you know that in America people date and even marry their cousins?”
As shocking as that is, I doubt it’s true, (I definitely will not look any further into it.) so I say nothing.
-
“Hey Kunikida! WHat do you call Batman and Robin after they’ve been flattened by a steam roller?”
The joke is easy to ignore but I'd really like to tell him to shut up.
“ . . . Flatman and Ribbon!” He laughs a fake obnoxious laugh. I don’t grace his behaviour with an answer.
-
I decide to be proactive during my lunch break.
After making sure it’s alright with the owner I sat down in one of the quaint cafe booths to enjoy my lunch in peace. The others went with Yosano-sensei to try out a new restaurant specialising in vegetarian dishes.
A few minutes after I start eating, Dazai strolls in. I focus on my food, pretending I don’t notice him at all. Maybe he’s just here to flirt with the waitress. (I’ve noticed that he hasn’t been doing that as much of late, maybe she got married or got a boyfriend.)
He isn’t.
He sits down in front of me, I keep on eating. Then he retrieves a pair of chopsticks from inside his trench coat and starts to reach for my plate. A thieving freeloader as usual. I wonder for a moment if he’s really hungry, lord knows his eating habits are horrible. He probably hasn’t eaten in a while, but I legitimately don’t think he gets hungry.
The kind thing to do would be to let him have it, and I almost do, but I know the more of these small things I do, the more I give these small kindnesses, the more I’ll want to do something bigger.
So instead I knock the chopsticks out of his grip, using one of them to press against his throat, if it were a blade he’d probably be dead.
“Ah, so selfish Kunikida-kun, isn’t it in your ideals to feed the hungry?”
‘Are you hungry?’ I want to ask, but I don't.
Taking my silence as a no he strides out, humming his suicide song.
I wish he would’ve stayed. I would’ve gladly let him have the rest of my bento gladly, even if he hadn’t told me he wanted it. I’ve never been a stellar cook, but I can make a decent meal. I want to make something for him, to get some food besides canned crab and whiskey in his stomach. I want us to have dinner together, or any meal really.
But that’s never going to happen so I go back to my meal in silence. The wanting fills me up inside so much that it’s hard to make myself finish my lunch but I hate wasting food so I do.
-
When my break is over I continue work as usual. We haven’t been very busy so I’ve taken to researching in the Special Operations Division’s archives with Katai’s help. My goal is to try and determine what makes Atsushi’s ability so special.
-
Dazai, of course, clocks out early, sighting a new method of suicide he wants to try. I know he probably won’t succeed but the same worry still fills me. I don’t voice my concerns though. What would I say, anyways? Any words I could think of would surely result in an admission of my affections which would mean nothing given his heterosexuality and like of me strictly because I’m someone he can get a reaction out of.
-
As I walk home my mind wanders as it always does, and since I’m away from the office I let it. I wonder if he’s alright, is he standing soaked on the riverbank or is he already back in his dorm passed out drunk by now.
I turn, startled out of my thoughts when something nips at my heel. It seems one of the stray cats that hangs around the agency has followed me home.
“Go!”
It sits down, blinking owlishly.
“I said: Go! Off with you!” I shake my foot gently in the direction of the agency, hoping it’ll find its way back safely.
It doesn’t budge.
“You shouldn’t be here, Cat, begone!”
It meows loudly, but gives no indication of moving. I sigh.
The cat is clearly a street cat. Its fur is off with a tan spot down its back and almost bluish patch on its chest. There's a black stripe on its head in between its black ears and two black dots almost looking like eyebrows. It’s dirty with leaves and twigs stuck in its fur but I can still see the white stripes going all around its body. The most noticeable features though are the torn left ear and scratches over its left eye, which judging by the slightly milky colour must be slightly blind. There are matching scratches all over the poor thing’s body and its whiskers are sticking out in all directions, like it's taken a shock.
Still it sticks its tongue out, looking almost mischievous. It reminds me of Dazai in a way that makes my heart ache. I’m not a monster, I can give her some milk or something.
“Fine, cat, you can come with me, but you better not have rabies or anything like that.”
I’ve never tried to create food with my notebook before but now I write “Cat Treat” and one appears in my hand where the page once was. I sniff it, it smells like it should . . . I think?
The cat takes it, sniffing suspiciously for a second then gobbling it down in one bite. It looks at me for more, but I don't want to use another page so I shake my head. It meows almost as if it’s whining as I open the door.
I shouldn’t have a feral cat in here, especially since It’s not technically my house. I’ve been living here alone for years and I pay the bills, but it still legally belongs to my parents who used to live here. They officially gave it to me when they went off to travel the globe a few years back.
The cat hops up on the counter, I turn on the tap and to my surprise it jumps right in. I have to shoo it out before I wash my hands.
-
Now I’m kneeling beside the bathtub, heavy rubber cleaning gloves on and bath soap in my hand. The cat, a she cat, as it turns out, isn’t afraid of the water at all. She rolls over and pounces onto her back, splashing me.
I occupy the rest of the evening cleaning her up and treating her wounds as best I can, not letting myself of a certain bandaged man. I’ll have to take her to the veterinarian tomorrow but for now the gauze and canned sardines from my emergency food stash with a bowl of warm milk will be enough.
What to name her?
The first anime that comes to mind is the name of the famous author Oba Yozo. Yozo is a masculine name, but somehow, it fits.
I hear her meowing as I shower, brush my teeth and dress in my night clothes.
I don’t let Yozo sleep in my room, though she wants to, but eventually she gets comfortable on the sun porch. Being a human is so complicated, I wish I could have as few worries as a cat.
That’s what I think of as I drift into sleep.
IDEALS [kunikidazai]
(A/N: I've been palying around with ship names for these two and came up with Ideal Human because together these two make one perfectly functioning person. Kind of like how Tachizaki is Midwinter Snow because if their abilities)
SUMMARY:
Dazai Osamu is the farthest possible thing from the ideal woman Kunikida Doppo has written so much about in his notebook.
And yet . . . Kunikida is hoplessly in love with him anyway. Kunikida doesn't belive he has a chance with his coworker, I mean, have you seen the way he flirts with women? Straight as the rulers Kunikida used to use in his maths class.
Dazai meanwhile is also inlove with uptight but still charming coworker. But how can Dazai ever come close to the woman Kunikida has in mind?
Will these two damn idiots figure their shit out or not? God, I hope they do, for all our sanity!

“Can I have five bucks?” Eddie asks Wayne, first thing on his first day of senior year.
He nods, handing him a fiver and returning to his newspaper and coffee, “whatcha need it for?”
“Schools doing hotdogs and drinks for the first day,” he waves it off, placing two waffles in the toaster and waiting impatiently beside it.
“I think I’m going to ask Y/N to be my girlfriend, today,” he announces, nervous, but needing an outlet to get his confidence back.
“Really?” Wayne’s so excited for him, “it’s about time. You’ve been seeing her, for what? 4 months?”
“We’ve been a bit more than friends since May…”
So much has happened since then. The whole summer happened and they were both so incredibly busy. They barely saw each other during the day, which meant that after work they got to hang out together… and they did everything they could when they were free.
Y/N worked at Benny’s Burgers, she was the best waitress the town has had in years. They could never ever keep a girl there, people always said it was cause benny was too pushy, he was a hard person to work for, but Y/N found it quite the opposite. She said working for him was easy if you listened to the rules on the first day. She memorized the table numbers, she knew the menu like the back of her hand, she cleaned everything to a level greater than what was expected, and benny loved having her there.
Eddie on the other hand, he worked at the auto shop downtown, he used all the things he learned when his parents were stealing cars and applied it to fixing trucks for the redneck assholes he went to school with… for guys who think they’re tough, they always pay with daddy’s credit cards… They were also so rude to him when he did it, he was a grease monkey to them, he was the scum of the earth and people hated when he was the only one available to change their oil or put air in their tires.
On nights when he went to her work to have dinner on Wednesday nights and take her home after her shift, he watched the town gawk over her. All the old ladies told her she was beautiful, the old men tipped her and all the kids having dinner with their families were enamoured by her.
She was so attentive, she was kind and outgoing and wonderful.
Sometimes it really made him wonder what she saw in him… more importantly, he wondered if she saw anything good in him at all because he wasn’t the greatest influence on her as of late.
This summer they went bridge jumping together in an illegal spot by the quarry. They smoked weed together for the first time out by lovers lake. She snuck out a few times to go to parties with him at Reefer Ricks, only to take care of him when he got drunk, she got him home to Wayne and then walked to her own in the middle of the night… all alone… not his proudest moment.
The proudest would probably be when he brought her to a Corroded Coffin rehearsal and made Gareth teach her how to play the drums. Gareth wasn’t too happy about it after the fact, because even on her first try she was better than him. She loved it, she went so far as to even audition for the school band so that she could spend more time with Eddie after class when the semester started again.
This year he was starting the first semester with home economics, wood shop, English and Art. It wasn’t too hard to pass, but the added help from Y/N was definitely going to make it easier.
“How are you gonna ask her?” Wayne pried.
“They’re selling drinks, right, so I’m going to get her an orange crush and say like it’s been obvious I have a crush on you, would you like to be my girlfriend instead… or whatever, I don’t know yet,” He gets all embarrassed, turning pink and keeping his head down.
“I’m sure she’ll say yes, I have a feeling she’s very smitten for you, Eds,” he takes a pack of cigarettes out of his pocket, taps it on the table and flips the carton open. “Want one?”
“Seriously?” He panics a bit, he knew that Wayne knew he smoked, he just never thought he’d be so open about it.
He nods “thanks.”
“No problem,” Wayne hands him one before placing another between his own lips. Eddie uses a lighter from within his jacket pocket to light his, he grabs his waffles and waves Wayne a goodbye and hits the road.
He hops in his van, overjoyed to have a vehicle of his own now. It was a really interesting story about how he got it… he didn’t have to pay a single penny for it, he simply went to Y/N’s house one day after school and learned that her uncle passed away and left everything to his brother, Y/N’s dad.
That included a beat-up old van, it was dark green with a white stripe. The seats were cloth, they carried the smell of cigarettes and wet dog, it was nothing a thorough cleaning couldn’t fix.
“It’ll probably sell for around $1300, I could put some signs up at the plant,” Mr. Y/L/N explained to his wife as Eddie and Y/N walked into the kitchen.
“What’s going on?”
“Sweetie, it’s not a good time,” her mother tried to rush her out of the room, not wanting her to be upset.
“No, no, she’s old enough to stay,” her dad counters. “Remember how your uncle Norman passed away a few months ago and left me his van well… you know what, I know what we can do with it now, honey.”
“What?” Both Y/N and her mom look at him confused but he stares right at Eddie.
“Do you have your licence, son?”
Eddie nods, “yes sir, I do…”
“Would you like a free van?”
“Are you kidding me?” Eddies jaw dropped to the floor. “Free?”
He nods, “I have no use to it, I don’t need to profit off my brother's passing, and at least this way it basically stays in the family if you’re going to be driving my daughter around all the time.”
“Oh, absolutely,” he had no doubt about that.
“Good, I have to pick it up in Illinois on Monday, you can drive it home.”
The bond he had with Y/N’s family only got stronger after that.
Every day Y/N brought him a sandwich and gave it to him before he dropped her off, she even wrote Eddie on the paper bag with a heart over the dot in the i.
He was allowed to have dinner with them most nights, except the first Wednesday of each month because her dad was hosting his book club which included Bob from Radio Shack and the middle school science teacher…
Her dad was a strange man, but then again, Eddie felt very strange himself, so it was a no-brainer that they’d get along so well.
He made a deal to pick Y/N up every morning for school in exchange for the van, and of course, he was already running late on their first day. He turns off Kerley onto Cornwallace. He’s careful around all the stop signs and school zones, he waits behind a few busses on Elm, but he finally pulls up to Y/N’s house with 10 minutes to spare.
She’s waiting on the sidewalk with her arms crossed, “I thought I told you that every time you light one of those you lose 7 years off your life.”
“And I told you I’m here for a good time, not a long time, princess,” he teases as she walks around the van and opens the passenger door herself.
She tosses her books in, puts her backpack on the floor and then jumps into her seat. It was so funny watching her try and get in without flashing him and the whole neighbourhood. “seatbelt.”
“You first,” she protests. Waiting for him to put it on before she pulls at her own and clips it into place.
“You’re in a mood today…”
“I still have a big decision to make,” she sighs, leaning back against the headrest.
“Cheerleading or Sr. Editor at the paper… decisions, decisions,” he mocks her. “How will you ever pick?”
She shoves him and he pretends to swerve, making her grip his leather jacket, “Eddie!”
“Don’t hit me then!”
“Ugh!” She gets even more frustrated. “Why can’t you take this seriously? I know you don’t give a rat's ass about graduating this year, but I need at least 1 stellar extra credit activity to put on my college applications and being the drummer for the school band won’t cut it alone.”
“How are you seriously going to drum, cheer and report the pep rally’s all at the same time?” He laughs at first but then he realizes just how serious she is.
“Don’t you want to be a journalist? Are you seriously thinking that cheerleading is going to wow the old men reading those applications over the amazing work you do as an editor? No. Not unless you hem the skirt up 3 more inches and give them a special performance…”
“Ew,” she knows he’s right though. “What if everyone hates me for jumping right to the senior editor when I just got here last year?”
“Then fuck ‘em!” He attempts to inspire her. “Seriously, babe, there’s a reason why Mrs. Ford picked you, and if she likes you and she’s grading your work and she's writing your letter of recommendation, then it doesn’t matter what the kids have to say about it.”
His lips curl into a smile, “did you just call me babe?”
He goes white as a ghost, keeping his eyes on the road but they grow impossibly wide. “Did I? Huh… I guess I did.”
She stares at him quietly as he continues their drive to school, it’s such a short trip but that didn’t stop either of them from wanting more time together.
When he pulls into his regular spot and throws the car in park, he turns to her, finally. “What?”
“Am I going to have to be the one to ask it, seriously,” she whispers.
“Ask what?” He doesn’t know where she’s going even though it was blatantly obvious.
“Ask me out.”
“Oh! Oh, y-yeah, I mean no?” he thinks about it. “No you don’t have to ask, yes I’m going to do it, I have a plan…”
“You have a plan?” She teases him.
He nods, “at yearbook distribution, I have something for you.”
She smiles, wide and toothy, “okay, alright, well… I guess I’ll see you then?”
“You don’t want me to walk you to class?” He gets all pouty.
“I don’t have class this today,” she smirks and opens her door, she hops out and gathers her things. “Yearbook kids get the morning off to hand out class schedules and make sure the new kids are where they need to be and as a reward, we get the afternoon off.”
“Boring,” Eddie adds quickly.
“Better than home ec,” she slams his door and he immediately gets out and follows her into the school.
“Is it though? Because when I finish sewing buttons onto all the pillows I have to make, you’re going to be so jealous I didn’t make it for you.”
She laughs, filling him with pride as he follows her through the hallway and towards her locker. Everyone watches them together, the Freak and the Geek. He felt bad that she got that nickname simply for being near him and good at science, it made him want to beat people up when he heard it, but she wouldn’t let him.
He leans against her locker, glancing down the hallway at Steve Harrington doing the exact same thing to Nancy Wheeler. He points over in their direction, “can you believe they’re together…”
“No, it’s weird,” she whispers. “He’s in our grade, she’s a sophomore. Just cause he’s taken almost everyone's v card in our year doesn’t mean he can go through all the other grades now.”
“I don’t know, I think he might actually like her,” he shrugs. “They’re so cuddly together.”
“So are we?” she doesn’t see anything wrong with that.
“Yeah, but we’re also basically dating,” he says it before his brain can catch up. “I mean— come on you know we’re more than friends.”
“We are,” she smiles up at him and grabs the collar of his jacket, pulling him in closer until their noses touch. “And yet you still haven’t kissed me on the lips.”
He shakes his head and pulls back, “uh-uh.”
She pouts, “fine. But if you don’t ask, I’m going to become a cheerleader and end up dating someone like Jeremy Carver…”
Just the thought of her dating anyone in the Carver family made his blood boil. They were the basketball family that was apparently going to bring the championship back to Hawkins with their new generation of strong blonde boys… it made him think they came from Nazi Germany to Hawkins after the war.
Jeremy was in their grade, Jason was a sophomore with Nancy Wheeler, and there was another Carver in middle school, probably raising hell there too.
“Oh god, no, ew, please don’t,” he can’t even fathom that, it makes his stomach turn, “do you want to be my girlfriend? Quick, yes or no?”
She laughs, looping her arms around his neck and looking into his eyes, “yeah, Edward, I guess I’ll be your girlfriend.”
He can’t control his smile, eyes flicking to her own, he places a hand on her cheek and guides her in for the first kiss of many. Their lips touch ever so gently smiles still formed on their face, unable to relax now that they’ve found true happiness.
“Excuse me,” he whispers against her lips and steps away so he can make a scene, “excuse me! Attention everyone!”
Of course, has to make a scene.
He locks eyes with Harrington and shoots him a wink.
“I just want to make it clear, to everyone here at Hawkins Hell Hole, that, Y/N Y/L/N is my fair lady and I will not hesitate to duel anyone who attempts to take her from me!”
“Eddie!” She scolds him,
“No one wants her!” Someone yells from the back of the crowd now assembling.
“Who said that?” Eddie follows the voice, walking chaotically towards it and kids scramble, displaying the one, the only, Jason Carver at the back. “Wanna try saying that again, hot shot? What, do you think cause you can throw a ball in a basket, what? like 23% of the time, that you’re the be all end all of the school?”
He gets flustered, unable to ever fight back when Eddie looked him square in the face.
“That’s what I thought,” Eddie laughs in his face. “You throw balls because you don’t have any of your own…”
Jason throws the first punch and Eddie catches it in his big hand, squeezing as tight as he can, Jason throws his other fist. Eddie holds them both in front of him, squeezing so tight that he can’t hold his arms up anymore, Jason’s face trembles, he wants to cry out in pain but he’s embarrassed.
Eddie ‘The Freak’ Munson was embarrassing him in front of everyone.
“Break it up, break it up,” Mrs. Ford comes pushing through and makes the boys part from one another. “What’s going on here?”
“Jason was bullying the geek and then threw a punch at the freak,” a geeky little nerd from the crowd explains, pushing his glasses up.
“Do you want to get hit next?” Eddie turns to them. “Stop fucking calling her that! She’s smarter than all you fuckers, she’s going to go to Notre Dame and she’s going to get her journalism degree and you fuck heads are going to have to see her on CNN every night at 6pm for the rest of your lonely lives saying ‘I wish I had been nicer to the geek’ well Fuck That! Be nice to her now! She’s the best fucking person to go to this school, but no one would know that because you saw her with me and immediately thought something was wrong with her! It's you!!! Something is wrong with all of you!!”
“Mr. Munson!” The principal caught the end of his grand speech. “While your statement is profound, that is not the language we use in this school.”
“Oh but the years of every kid in here calling me a queer was fine to you? I say fuck and I’m the bad guy?”
“Mr. Munson that’s enough!” He raises his voice louder. “Follow me.”
“You’re going to suspend me on my first day for standing up for my girlfriend getting bullied?” He laughs, following anyway. “Sick… just fucking sick.”
—
Eddie was given an in-school suspension, kicked out of the marching band and told if he misbehaves again they might make him retake the whole year just to teach him a lesson… it made her wonder what other colourful words he chose to use in the principal's office.
She went to the yearbook classroom for orientation, being senior editor she was in charge of delegating responsibilities, leaving just her and Nancy Wheeler alone in the classroom.
Nancy Wheeler sat quietly in the back corner near the large paper slicer, organizing newsletters about yearbook sales. But she kept glancing over at Y/N every few minutes.
She could feel Nancy’s eyes burning a hole in the back of her head like she was trying to read her thoughts or something. She turned to Wheeler, watching her look away and pretend it was nothing, more than once, and then she finally went over.
“What?”
“Huh?” Nancy looked up at her with faux innocence.
“You’re staring. What’s up?” She repeats.
“Oh,” she brushes her hair behind her ear and gets nervous. “I just… I wanted to know if you’ve picked a junior editor yet, you know, 'cause you’re going to need to do that soon for Mrs. Ford.”
“I thought you were going to ask about Eddie,” she shakes her head with a sigh and takes a seat beside Nancy. “People always think I’m crazy for being his best friend… well, girlfriend now, I guess.”
“I’m just surprised… that’s all.”
“Why?” Y/N genuinely wanted to know.
“You’re like me, you care about your grades and going to college and Eddie’s… colourful?” Thats the nicest way she could’ve put it. “And plus, there was a rumour going around that you two fucked in his van in the back parking lot this summer, I heard that from Tommy…”
“What?” She looks horrified. “Oh my god, no, no, we haven’t,” she shakes her head horrified that people would even say that. “I haven’t… ever…”
“Me either,” Nancy lets out a shaky breath. “I think Steve wants to though…”
“He’s a boy,” she gives her a knowing look. “If you don't want to, don’t. If you feel like he’s making you, kick his ass.”
She nods, “I wouldn’t let him… I’m pretty strong when I need to be.”
“Me too,” she smiles, feeling Nancy’s vibe and warming up to her quite easily. She reminds her a lot of herself when she sat down in science last year, so she takes a chance on her “you can be my junior editor, I feel like if you’re in Steves circle and I’m in Eddie’s, we can learn everything in this school… and this way I can still be in the band for the pep rally’s and you can do the physical reporting for me?”
Nancy smiles back, putting her hand in the middle of them for a shake, “you’ve got a deal.”
—
There’s a new girl in band, she comes prepared with a trumpet and a smile and keeps glancing over at Y/N. And she’s very cute.
It makes her panic, Eddies only in the stands watching on as they practice since he can’t join them… Her mind wandered all over the place, she was anxious that he’d notice the glances and the smiles and the fact that every time they rearrange to find the best flow for everyone to perform at their best, they keep getting closer and closer to each other.
“Hi,” she leans over and whispers near her ear, “I’m Robin.”
“Y/N,” she smiles back. “Are you new?”
She shakes her head, “to Hawkins, no, but to this band, yes. I’m a sophomore, I haven’t been here that long and I was tired of hiding cause I didn’t have friends so I just joined on a whim… sorry, I didn’t know what you meant so I kinda just said both answers anyway and then that happened…”
“That’s okay,” she stifles a laugh, trying to stay quiet while the teacher tries to talk them through the new choreography for the football games. “It was cute.”
It was only the first week of school, and their teacher couldn’t expect a group of teenagers to listen to her after 2 months away from school.
Robin blushes and looks away, bringing her trumpet back to her lips and pretending to play along as her lips wouldn’t cooperate to actually play. Meanwhile, Y/N carried on with her snare drum. The cheerleaders did flips in the background, balls are thrown and “hut hut!” Is yelled repeatedly, there’s so much going on in their small field for an early September afternoon.
The turnout for tryouts was wild, ’83 was their year.
After practice, she waves to Robin and heads over to Eddie on the bleachers. “Hey, princess,” he kisses the side of her head as he wraps his arm around her. “Who’s that?” He gestures towards them with the lift of his chin in her direction.
“Robin, she’s new. To band, not Hawkins, she’s in Wheeler’s grade.” She keeps her head down and avoids eye contact with him, almost ashamed of her slight attraction to her.
“What’s up?” He catches it.
“Hm?” She finally looks up at him, guilty as all hell. “Nothing.”
“Okay then,” he laughs it off and tugs her along for their walk back over to his van.
She’s quiet most of the way home, well, back to eddies place. She mostly just lets him talk, explaining how hard it was to not snap at the principal. He had an in-school suspension for the rest of the week, he’d be doing all his school work in the office, alone, without even a break for lunch.
“Well, I’m going to be bringing your lunch in every day and if they don’t let me sit with you there will be hell to pay,” she complains. “Because today I had lunch with Nancy Wheeler… and when I tell you it was weird, thats an understatement.”
“Why?” He can’t believe what she said.
“She’s going to be my junior editor, I figured I’d need someone to take game notes while I play and she should get a decent amount of gossip off Harrington and his weird-ass friends.”
“That’s actually so smart,” he compliments with a beautiful smile, putting her back at ease.
Feelings are weird, but she knows for sure she loves him more than anyone who could ever enter her life.
It isn’t until he’s parking out front of his trailer that he talks to her again. “Seriously? Is something going on?”
She shakes her head, faking a smile. “I’m just tired. I’m not used to getting up this early anymore.”
“Okay,” he tries to believe her, but he can’t. “You mind if I smoke? I don’t have to drive you home till later, anyway?”
She nods, “yeah, I don’t mind, just, can I go lay down while you do it out here?”
He nods and hands her the keys, “head on in.”
And she does just that, watching him take his secret stash out from under the steps and head to the back f the trailer so no one would see him.
She gets a few minutes alone in his room, and she goes right to tidying to ease her anxieties. She has cleaned his room with him before, she’s done his laundry in with her own after getting caught in the rain, and she’s even showered at his place before. She felt very safe and comfortable with him as if this was her home too.
She goes to make his bed, she moves the pillow to fluff it and finds something she never expected.
“Heavy Metal,” she reads the title of the magazine aloud as she picks it up, noticing the naked woman riding a Pegasus into battle with a large sword and huge tits. It’s exciting to her, it feels wrong to be able to see something so graphic just out in the open… she flips through the pages, breathing heavily, her heart almost beating out of her chest.
She hears the screen door open and she throws the magazine back down onto the bed, covers it with a pillow and sits down before he gets into the room.
He comes running in and jumps into the bed, tackling her down and tickling her stomach, she laughs, screeching for him to stop but he doesn’t, “my girl needs giggles! Doctors orders!”
“Eddie!”
He stops and looks down at her with a sweet smile, “you know I’m always here if you want to talk?”
She reaches under the pillow and pulls it out, handing it to him. “this…”
“How did you know about this?” His face goes white as a ghost, and he sits on his knees with a look of shame.
“I don’t care that you have it… I care that I like it…”
“Oh? oh!” He finally gets it and then his eyes narrow in on her, “oh…”
“Eddie, I’m being serious, it’s weird, I feel like I’m cheating on you and all because I keep noticing women being pretty now that we’re together… why didn’t this happen before we got together?”
“I find dudes hot,” he shrugs, admitting something just as scary to even the playing field. “Like today Harrington looked really nice, I even winked at him.”
“You didn’t?” She smacks his arm. “Seriously?”
“It’s the hair,” he shrugs. “What can I say, us men with good hair, we’re hot.”
She laughs, “I think I just like nice people… like robin today, she was so smiley and she kept wanting to stand with me and it reminded me of you, honestly.”
“Are you saying I’m cute and smiley?” He thinks about it, “no one has ever used those words to describe me.”
She pulls him in for a hug and then a cuddle, he snuggles into her chest and wraps his arms around her middle. “I think it's normal to find people cute, it’s not wrong, it only becomes a problem if you hide it from me or it stops you from liking me anymore…”
“That could never happen,” she assures him, smoothing her hand over his back, she presses a kiss to his head. “You’re my home, Eddie. No one can replace you.”
“Good,” he smiles, she can feel his happy cheeks against her chest. “Cause you’re never getting rid of me.”
“I wouldn’t have it any other way.”
“Guess what I learned today?” She whispers.
“What?”
“Tommy and his dips hit girlfriend are telling people we fucked in the van, parked at the school this summer.”
He sits up and looks down at her, “are you serious?”
She nods, “Nancy told me. I think she just wanted to talk about sex cause Steve might be pressuring her…”
“I should give him a talk,” Eddie mumbles. “That’s not cool.”
“I told her to kick his ass if he tries anything, I think she could,” she tries to make Eddie smile and gets a laugh instead.
“We could team up and all kick his ass, too,” Eddie suggests. “I think it would be hot to see you kick someone's ass…”
“Yeah?” She raises her brows, “how high are you right now?”
“My usual amount, I’m just allowed to tell you my thoughts now… my girlfriend should know I think she’s the most beautiful person in the world.”
Her heart swells, “and I can finally tell you that you’re hot… I’ve been telling you that you’re handsome, so I guess I need to kick it up a notch now.”
“And I can do this now,” he places his hand on her cheek and leans in for a kiss.
His lips are soft as he presses against hers, breathing in deeply through his nose and relaxing against her. She rests her hands on his hips and tries to spread her legs to let him settle between her as the kiss heats up. It was the first time she really kissed a boy… and it was everything she thought it would be.
—
September 6th comes around again like it did every year, and every year it got a little bit easier… but losing his dad was never going to be okay. It was never going to be normal.
After his mom left and stealing cars landed him in prison for a few years, his dad became a security guard for the Hawkins Lab.
He died during a security breach at the Lab, Eddie will never know the specifics, but he knew it was horrific. His father wasn’t in any condition to be seen afterwards, the lab actually paid for his cremation and he now sits in a little urn on the table beside the tv.
When no one was home, sometimes Eddie would walk over, press a kiss to his forefingers and gently press it to the top of the urn and tell him he missed him… sometimes he would even tell his dad whole stories about his day, sitting down on the carpeted floor of his uncle's trailer for hours just catching up with the jar of his ashes.
Today, however, just pressing a kiss to the top of his eternal container wasn’t enough. He felt extra sad this year because so much was different. This year he has a girlfriend and this year he graduates… those are two very big things and he’s not going to be home for them.
He’s been home for a few hours, after dinner with Y/N she had family time and that meant he had to go. Sometimes she called him at night before bed, but most nights he just sat alone in his room while Wayne was at work.
Wayne always takes the 6th off, Eddie knew he’d be home, in the main room, and he knew he’d be willing to talk about it if Eddie opened up to him about his feelings… but when he walks out into the main room, Wayne is sound asleep with the urn tucked under one arm and a bottle of beer in the other hand.
He just picks up his keys, slugs on his coat and quietly leaves the trailer. He doesn’t even know how late it is, it might not even be the 6th anymore, but he needs something… He needs someone.
Someone very specific.
He’s there before he even realizes where he’s going. Pulling into Y/N’s driveway, he notices her bedroom light is still on, and so is her father's study on the first floor. As he gets out and begins his walk towards the porch, the light comes on and her father is opening the door.
“Eddie?”
“Hi, Mr. Y/L/N,” he carries a tune of sadness in his voice that anyone could pick up on.
“Are you alright?”
He nods, trying to stay calm as long as he could but begins to break down the longer he thinks about it. “No…”
Without thinking, her father wraps his arms around him and pulls him into a hug. He rubs his back gently, “it’s okay, son… what’s going on?”
He pulls back and wipes his tears, pulling himself together. “I’m sorry, really, I didn’t mean to come here this late, I just it’s— my dad died 4 years ago today and in all honesty, I just came here for a hug from Y/N, so, thank you— for the hug, sir.”
“You can head on up to her room,” he lets him in and points up the stairs, “Wayne know you’re here?”
He shakes his head, “he’s not going to notice I’m gone, he’s having a rough night too… only he’s allowed to have booze.”
“You’re welcome to stay here,” he looks him in the eye, acknowledging that he trusts him to stay the night in his home, specifically in his daughter's room. “No funny business, Kyle’s room is also free if you want to sleep there.”
“Thank you, sir,” he pats his shoulder, “I promise, I’d never do anything to ruin the relationship I have with your family. It means a lot to me.”
“Anytime, son.”
With a heavy heart, he kicks off his shoes and heads up the stairs to Y/N’s room. The door is closed, like normal, so he gives it a quiet knock.
“Come in?”
He opens it slowly, “hey, princess.”
She flings the covers off her bed and runs to him, “Eddie? Oh my god?”
He sneaks in and closes the door behind himself just in time to open his arms and catch her. She holds him tightly, it’s everything he wanted and then some. “Hi, my love.”
She pulls back and looks up at him, wiping the residual tears off his cheeks carefully, she’s so concerned, “what’s wrong?”
“Um, let’s go sit down…” he isn’t ready to say it again yet.
She nods, “Yeah, okay.” She takes his hand and drags him over to the bed and that’s when he notices she’s only in a long T-shirt as a nightgown.
“um… your dad said I can stay here, I promised to behave, but um, can I borrow some PJs or would you be okay with me in my underwear and shirt?”
She laughs, “take ‘em off, I’m only in underwear and a shirt, see?” she pulls up the nightgown and flashes a pair of bright yellow granny panties. “It’s not a big deal, it’s the same as a swimsuit.”
She’s not wrong there. He strips down, he gets comfortable and joins her in her big comfy bed. She has so many pillows and the softest blanket, she lays back and lets him cuddle right into her, cheek on her boobs, hand on her tummy, he was in heaven.
“You know how my dad died…”
“I’m still so sorry for your loss, honey, I know it’s not fair,” she pets his ever-growing hair lovingly and then presses a kiss to the top of his head.
“It’s 4 years today.”
“God, I’m sorry, baby,” she says with her lips still touching his head, and then she places a few more kisses and holds him tighter. “I can’t even begin to imagine what you’re going through.”
“I’m just glad I have you this year,” he admits, tearing up again. “And your dad… he gave me a hug too.”
“Really?” She sounds so happy to hear that.
He nods, “you’re my family, Y/N… I— I love you.”
He’s called her ‘my love’ a million times, they both say nothing of it, they don’t take it seriously, but in all seriousness— Eddie was only saying it to test the waters before he told her that he loved her.
They’ve been dating for a week.
A Week.
Sure, they’ve been friends for almost a year and sharing cuddles and secrets and cheek kisses for months now… it still felt weird to admit to her that he was in love with her.
Like enough to make him go insane— levels of in love with her. The kind of love that made him want to be a good person and get good grades to get a good job and be a good husband and one day— god willing— a good father to her kids… their kids.
He’s thought about it so much it seems a bit excessive, but when his head hits the pillow at home, all he can think about is spending the rest of his life with her.
“You love me?”
He pulls back and props himself up on his arm so he can look at her, “Is that okay?”
With both hands she cups his face, “oh, Eddie, I love you too.”
They haven’t kissed on the lips much, but pressing them together feels like coming home. He’s safe in her arms, cocooned in her warm embrace, he melts into the kiss and prolongs the kiss with his tongue.
Making out was new for them but they both found it relatively easy over the last week and very beneficial for their mutual touch-starved hearts. He didn’t mean to grope her, but he rests his free hand on her boob and squeezes gently, invoking a moan from her that threatens the promise he made to her dad.
He pulls back to apologize and she immediately starts apologizing instead, “seriously, I didn’t mean to! It’s just—“
He places his finger over her lips and shushes her with a smile, “if I plan on staying in your dad's good books, I can’t get turned on and do something we both regret later…”
“Okay,” she understands and lets him pull away more, he settles into the pillow beside hers and looks over at her, sweetly.
But sweet is the last thing on her mind.
“Can I ask you something?”
He nods, “always, princess?”
“Do you think I’m hot? Like I know you love me, and so you must like more than just the fact we’re best friends and we have a bond… cause I find you really handsome and dare I say, sexy, even. But— what I’m trying to say is, would you ever want to get physical one day? With me?”
He laughs, which is the exact opposite of what she needed to hear. It makes her brows furrow and he starts backtracking immediately. “Oh my god, no, I didn’t laugh cause I think it’s silly, I laughed cause you really have no idea what you do to me, so you?”
She shakes her head and moves in closer, settling next to him, their faces only inches apart. “So tell me?”
He laughs again and pulls at the neck of his shirt so that it’s not choking him. “Well, for starters, and this is probably going to sound shallow, I only sat down beside you in science ‘cause you were hot and I hadn’t seen you before and I thought maybe if I talked to you first, then you wouldn’t believe anyone else that I was a freak.”
“I’ll personally assassinate everyone who’s called you that,” she jokes, only that’s what he thinks. She feels completely serious about wanting revenge on the fuckers that made her man feel like this.
“I think being in love with you makes me find you more attractive than I ever did when I first saw you.”
“How?” She seems a little confused.
“I think it’s beautiful that you saw me without a lunch and started bringing one for me. I think it’s hot that you get so angry when I talk down about myself. And I think it’s sexy as fuck that you’re here in your underwear making out with me under your daddy’s roof, pretty girl… you’re tempting, but I always keep a promise.”
She basically purrs with excitement, “you’re so hot when you notice the things I do for you and let me keep doing them… cause like, I know you hate when I put hearts on your sandwich bags cause the dudes at work think it’s girly, but you let me do it because it showed you how much I loved you even before I could say it out loud.”
“We’re really dumb,” he laughs, “you know that, right?”
“We have basically been dating since we danced in your trailer and you kissed my forehead,” she teases him. “I think that’s when I fell in love with you for real.”
“When you pinned the ribbon to my jacket,” he admits the moment that got him. “Being granted a lady’s token is not something a knight forgets.”
“Come here,” she pulls him back onto her chest and back to the way they were before. She kisses the top of his head a few times, “I’m so glad you said it, cause going to bed tonight without saying I love you first would be so weird.”
He smirks, “you’re welcome, my love.”
She reaches over to her night table and turns off her light. She settles back in with him and runs her fingers through his hair, “sweet dreams, my Eddie.”
“I love you,” he whispers against her chest.
“I love you, more.”
He lets her think that, but she’ll never know the leaps and bounds he’d go to to prove that to her. He’d go all the way to the ends of the earth for her, all she need do is ask.
They both fall asleep soon after that, peacefully unaware of her dad opening the door before he also heads to bed, carefully he peeks in to see them cuddled together under the blankets, his jeans laying at the foot of her bed, he fit into her life like he was always there. And a part of him hoped he always would be.

read it on ao3
So here’s the thing: Matt, like, really liked physical contact. Foggy had been collecting evidence for weeks now, and he was absolutely sure of this conclusion. Holding Foggy’s hand as they walked home drunk, melting beneath Foggy’s hands on his shoulders, the way Matt leaned into him whenever they sat close enough; he clearly loved to be touched. Foggy wasn’t sure why, maybe living in a catholic orphanage for seven years just did that to a person. Regardless, if Matt needed to be touched that bad, then god dammit, Foggy was going to touch him. Platonically. Without getting a boner, hopefully.
“You know, I was actually starting to think that she was the one.”
“No you weren’t.”
“Yes I was!”
“Foggy, you started seeing her three weeks ago. I don’t even think you knew her middle name.”
“I do too know her middle name!” Matt raised an eyebrow suspiciously. “It was Marie… Elizabeth. Rose. Marie Elizabeth Rose.”
“Do you want to try that again?”
“Nope. I am one-hundred-percent confident that that was her middle name.”
“Okay, so to clarify: her name was Anna-Sophia Marie Elizabeth Rose Howard-Myers.”
Foggy swallowed and let his shoulders slump a little. “There’s really no way I can answer that that’s not incriminating, is there?”
Matt cracked that big, bright smile of his and chuckled, reaching for his beer bottle. “You tried your best.”
Okay, so maybe Foggy was exaggerating his heartbreak a little bit. Anna-Sophia had been sweet and smart and hot as the Sahara in summer, but he hadn’t been all that surprised when she turned him down to go on a date with that hot barista Rohan instead. Be that as it may, he needed an excuse to get plastered, so he told Matt that he was heartbroken and dragged him to the sleaziest bar in a two-mile radius to commiserate. Now Foggy was halfway between sloshed and shitfaced, Matt was barely tipsy, and they were both eagerly awaiting another plate of buffalo wings, which were about the only thing in this bar that Foggy thought legally counted as food.
Their waitress set the plate on their hightop and Foggy’s stomach gurgled in something that might’ve been closer to fear than hunger. He looked up towards Matt, who was already plopping a few orange chicken shapes onto his plate. “Did you get a chance to see buffalo wings before you got Stevie Wonder-ed?”
Matt chuckled and tilted his head in the way that Foggy knew to interpret as an eye-roll. “Yes, I did have the privilege of seeing buffalo wings before I lost my sight. But if you’re about to describe to me what these things look like, I’d rather you didn’t. I think the less I know about whatever color they are, the better.”
“Smart move, my friend,” Foggy decided, before grabbing some chicken lumps himself. Matt dug in while Foggy was still drunkenly trying to get the right wing-to-ranch ratio on his first bite and, when Foggy looked up, Matt had a smear of orange sauce across his right cheek. “Jesus, dude, you already have sauce all over your face.”
Matt smirked and tilted his head toward Foggy. “Do I actually, or are you just being an asshole?”
“You do! Right cheek, just below your mouth.” Matt brought his napkin up to his face and missed the sauce completely. Foggy chuckled a little, “no, little higher. Bit further to the right… you know what, fuck this,” he grabbed the napkin out of Matt’s hand and cleaned his face up himself. Once the smear was gone, Foggy let the shitty beer in his system take the wheel and slowly dragged his thumb across where the sauce had been on Matt’s cheek. If he lingered there for a moment longer than sober Foggy would’ve, well, that was no one’s business but his own.
Foggy had told Matt that he was bisexual over a year ago, the very first time they went out to get drinks and play wingman together. Matt had never been anything but accepting of Foggy’s sexuality, and, in return, Foggy kept the low-simmering crush he had on Matt a secret. Really, who could blame him for carrying a small torch for the guy? He was confident and kind and had the abs of a goddamn underwear model. Unfortunately, Matt was also painfully straight, so Foggy dropped his hand from Matt’s face and took another bite of his so-called chicken wing, praying that no one in the bar could see his blush.
Three hours later, they were both plastered and Foggy was finding it increasingly difficult to remember precisely which streets he needed to turn on to get back to their dorm. Matt’s hand was warm in the crook of Foggy’s elbow, and he was trying very hard not to focus on the pressure that was rapidly filling up his chest.
“So what’s next, buddy?” Matt slurred. “You got any hot guys lined up for the rebound?”
“Matthew, my friend, I think you seriously overestimate my ability to keep hot guys on retainer. Oof, listen to me. Using the big lawyer words already.” Foggy giggled and let himself lean a little bit more into Matt’s side.
“Yeah, it’s almost like you’re in school to be a lawyer,” Matt grinned. “But seriously, I think we both know that you never have any trouble finding hookups.”
“Ugh, Matt, you pathetic pragmatist,” Foggy shouted, “I don’t want a hookup. I want romance! I want someone to feed me grapes and cover me in rose petals and, and…” Foggy had run out of romantic cliches, so he simply settled on: “and suck my dick!”
Matt burst into laughter, stopping Foggy in his tracks as he doubled over and wheezed. Once he caught his breath, he straightened up and started walking again, dragging Foggy with him. “You’re right, Fogs, you’re so much more romantic than I am. All the greatest romances in history end in a heartfelt blowjob.”
“Hey, a blowjob can absolutely be romantic! Did you not hear what I said about the grapes? And the rose petals?”
“You know, I think my favorite part of Pride and Prejudice was when Elizabeth gave Mr. Darcy head at the end.”
Foggy gave Matt’s shoulder a little shove and rolled his eyes. “God, I fucking hate you. A guy gets his heart broken, absolutely shattered in a million pieces by the woman who captured his soul, and this is how you comfort him? Some friend you are.”
Matt laughed quietly at that and ducked his head. Silently, he slid his hand out of Foggy’s elbow and into his hand, lacing their fingers together as if it were completely normal. “Come on, you’ll be alright, Fogs. And hey, if all else fails, you still got me, right?”
Foggy swallowed and nodded shakily, more to give himself assurance than anything else. “Right.”
Foggy could have easily finished reading this chapter in his contract law textbook an hour ago, could have written all his notes and closed his book and gone back to his replay of Skyward Sword. Instead of doing any of that, though, he was stuck rereading the same page for the fourth time because Matt just could not stop making those obnoxious little frustrated sighs every two minutes. Foggy knew that the Spanish test he was studying for was important, that Matt had been stressing about it for weeks, but god dammit he was about to start pulling his hair out, and then Matt would be to blame for the loss of Foggy’s luscious blond locs.
Matt groaned again, weary and annoyed, and Foggy immediately slammed his textbook shut and stomped across the room to Matt’s desk.
Matt hardly paid him any mind until he ripped the earbud out of Matt’s ear and shut his laptop. “What the hell, Foggy? I was listening to that!”
“Yeah, well I was listening to you moaning and groaning for the last hour straight. You know, some of us have our own studying to do, too.”
Matt sputtered for a moment and blushed. “Shit, sorry, Foggy. I didn’t realize I was doing it. I can go to the library if you want?”
Well, now Foggy felt like the world’s biggest asshole. “Fuck, no, it’s okay. That was shitty of me to say. Is everything okay over here?”
Matt sighed and leaned back in his chair, “I don’t know. I think I’m probably doing better at this than I think I am, but I keep on making dumb mistakes in my conjugation. Just frustrated, that’s all.”
“You probably just need to take a break, man. It’s, like, ass o’clock at night, your brain is just all Spanished-out. Take a breather, dude.”
Matt pressed his fingers into his eyes behind his glasses and dragged his hands down his face. “Yeah, you’re right.”
Suddenly, Foggy had an idea. He knew, distantly, that this idea would possibly destroy what was left of his self-respect and most definitely give him a boner, but he threw caution to the wind. Self-respect was for cowards, anyway. “Here, sit up. I got an idea.” Matt made a quizzical noise and sat up in his chair. “You’re tense as hell, buddy. I could probably be convinced you had a literal stick up your ass right now, along with the metaphorical one.”
“Wow, thanks,” Matt said dryly, “so glad my best friend thinks so highly of me.”
“Shut up. I’m gonna put my hands on your shoulders, okay?” Matt nodded, so Foggy moved behind him, gently placed each of his hands in the bend where Matt’s neck met his shoulders, and began kneading. He moved his hands up and down Matt’s shoulders, squeezing with his fingers and the heel of his hand while his thumb worked slow circles into Matt’s skin. All it took was for Foggy to apply a little more pressure to the nape of Matt’s neck, and suddenly Matt let out a noise that Foggy had been pretty sure they just made up for porn. Matt moaned soft and deep, without a hint of embarrassment. Each time Foggy gripped harder at his shoulders, Matt would let out another groan, melting a little further into Foggy’s hands with each one.
While Foggy would have to wait until later to measure his self-respect, he had certainly been right about one thing: after hearing all those low noises Matt made, Foggy was now rock hard in his basketball shorts. He gave Matt’s shoulder’s one last squeeze and an awkward pat on the head before chuckling nervously, “alright, I think you’re now officially the least tense person on campus.”
Matt tilted his head back with a tired grin and rubbed the back of his neck with one hand. “God, Foggy, that was amazing.”
Foggy blushed. He needed to get out of here immediately. He placed a hand gently on Matt’s shoulder and squeezed one last time. “Don’t mention it. I’m, uh, I’m gonna go take a shower, I think.”
Before Foggy could step away, Matt grabbed Foggy’s hand where it rested on his shoulder and turned to face him with a gentle smile. “Hey, I appreciate it, really.”
Foggy’s mouth went dry and he left without another word.
True to his word, Foggy made sure he always had some point of contact with Matt. He kept an arm around Matt’s shoulders at parties and pressed up against him in restaurant booths. He pulled Matt into a hug every time they parted ways, however briefly, and gave Matt more painfully sexy shoulder massages whenever he asked.
In return for this, Matt seemed to be constantly paying Foggy compliments. Each time they left a shared class, Matt would always say, “that was a really smart observation you made back there, Foggy,” and each drunken joke was met with, “God, Fogs, you’re, like, the funniest person I’ve ever known.” Foggy got compliments on his voice and his intelligence and even his goddamn smell, slightly creepy as that one was. Every single compliment made Foggy flush bright red, and made that small torch he’d been carrying since 1L burn just a little brighter.
Some Lambda Pi girl, Sydney something-or-other, had just turned 25, and now Matt and Foggy found themselves completely faded on her sorority house sofa, surrounded by students who were all varying combinations of drunk and stoned, with Foggy’s arm around Matt’s shoulders and Matt’s right leg in Foggy’s lap. They had split a brownie a little over an hour ago, and were perfectly content to nurse their lukewarm beers on this ratty couch for the rest of the party. A few other people sat near them– on the floor or the adjacent armchairs, no one seemed to care much– but Foggy was in no rush to introduce himself and Matt.
Matt leaned further into Foggy’s side as Foggy slowly ran a hand up and down his arm and said into his ear, “You smell really good right now. Like… lemons. Or something.” Foggy was sure that Matt had meant to whisper that, but instead he broadcast it for everyone in the little bubble surrounding them to hear. Foggy’s face flushed and he took another swig of beer.
A girl sitting near them on the floor leaned over and smiled dazedly, and her large front teeth made Foggy chuckle a little at how much she resembled a horse. “I’ve seen you two on campus, you’re law students, right?”
Matt smiled and nodded slowly, “Yeah, second year.”
The girl leaned against the couch below them, “You guys are so cute. How long have you been together?”
Foggy’s heart stopped for a moment and he blinked. “Oh, we’re- we’re not. Together.”
Matt grinned darkly, the same way Foggy saw him do when he was about to take a girl to bed or destroy someone in a debate. “Yeah, we are both completely on the market.”
Horse Girl’s smile dimmed the littlest bit and her eyebrows furrowed, “Oh, you guys just seem, like… really close.”
“Well yeah, I mean, you gotta be close with the guy you’re gonna start a law firm with. That’s, like, even closer than dating, right?” Matt giggled and rested his head on Foggy’s shoulder.
“Right,” Horse Girl said skeptically. “I’m gonna go get another beer. See you two around.”
“I won’t,” Matt laughed loudly at his own joke, but she was too far away to hear it through the din of the party around them.
Foggy had lost interest in this movie a good forty-five minutes ago. Their history of law professor had said that anyone who watched and wrote a paper on Inherit the Wind would get extra credit, but Foggy had never really been a fan of old movies. It was mostly dialogue, so Foggy just let Matt lay his head in his lap while the movie played, only adding narration when he thought it would be funny (which wasn’t often, god this movie was boring).
“And all these holy people got themselves begat through original sin?” Spencer Tracy asked through Foggy’s laptop screen. “Well… all that sinnin’ make ‘em any less holy?”
“I don’t know why everyone in old movies always talks so loud,” Foggy said. “They had microphones back then, these guys don’t have to use their outside voices all the time.”
Matt smiled from down in Foggy’s lap. “I think a lot of them were probably trained for the theatre. They’re projecting like they’re still on stage.”
“Fair enough, I guess,” Foggy grumbled. Sometime in the last few minutes, Foggy’s hand had found its way into Matt’s hair and was rubbing indiscernible little patterns into his scalp. Matt’s hair was soft, and he hummed a little bit every time Foggy started to slow down or seemed like he was going to stop. Matt’s glasses were off, and his hazel eyes were pointed up at the ceiling.
It had taken a few months for Matt to let Foggy see him with his glasses off. Foggy had just gotten a call from his mom that his paternal grandmother had died. Matt knew that Foggy was close with her, and he let Foggy cry into his shoulder. When Foggy finally came up, Matt’s glasses were off. Those big puppy dog eyes of his changed his whole face once Foggy finally saw them, they made his expression so much more sympathetic, and it made Foggy start crying all over again.
Foggy stopped the movie once they started singing hymns again at the end, but neither of them moved. Foggy’s hand still traced its little patterns in Matt’s hair, but Matt had stopped humming, just stared into the air above him.
Matt took a deep breath, then let it out. “Hey Foggy?”
“Yeah?”
“We’re not just friends, are we?”
Foggy’s hand stopped its movements in Matt’s hair, and Matt sat up to sit beside Foggy on the bed. He thought back to each time they touched in the last few months, each compliment that Matt gave him without a second thought, the feeling of Matt’s fingers intertwined with his own as they stumbled home together. “I don’t… I don’t know. Do you want to be just friends?”
Matt swallowed and clenched his jaw briefly. “I don’t think so.”
Foggy’s heart leapt at that, but he shushed it. “I… thought you were straight.”
“I don’t know what I am,” Matt smiled, soft and maybe a little bit sad, “but I really like you, Fogs.”
Now, that… that was not a sentence Foggy was expecting to hear in his lifetime from Matthew Michael Murdock. Matt was only a few inches away, pressed against Foggy like he always was these days. Maybe it was Foggy’s imagination, maybe it was just a trick of the light, but Foggy could swear that Matt was looking straight into his eyes. “Matt, can I kiss you?”
Matt didn’t respond, just slowly closed the distance between them, cupping Foggy’s cheek with one hand and pressing his lips against Foggy’s. Foggy’s brain bluescreened for a moment at the feeling of Matt goddamn Murdock kissing him, but he quickly got with the program and started kissing back. Each of them smiled into the kiss, feeling each other blush beneath their fingertips, and leaned back into Foggy’s bed. Matt hadn’t asked for a shoulder rub tonight, but Foggy had a feeling he’d be hearing those noises anyway.

Little One pt.2
I am telling you guys right there is to be a LOTTTT more smut within this series. This is only the beginning. Hope you all enjoy part 2 as much as part 1 !
Paring- OT7 x Reader (poly)
Summary- Through your husbands line of work they take a week or more off to spend some time with their wife.
—————————————————————
Arriving at Celeste you were in awe at how many people were always here. Not wanting to brag but your club was by far the best at bringing in not only money but also people. You knew what people wanted. The feeling of letting go with a hint of sexual tension and endless booze. You all went up to your usual spot. Right in the middle up top so you had a view of the whole place.
“Y/N,” said your favorite waitress Cleo.
“Lo! So good to see you.” You said hugging her. “How’s everything?”
“Everything is actually amazing. Tonight has been nothing but smooth.” She smiled.
“I meant with you silly.” You nudge her arm. “How’s baby girl?”
“Of course!” she giggled. “She’s amazing, finally almost ready for school. I may just cry.”
“Well don’t, you may make me cry.” You smiled, rubbing her arm.
“The usual I presume?” She asked.
“Boys?” You looked at your husbands.
A round of yes’ and sures were heard.
You laughed.
“Yes and get something for yourself as well!” You pointed after her.
She nodded.
“You are just too nice.” Namjoon said, pulling you into his lap.
“She’s an amazing worker and mother.” You smiled. “I think I’ll keep her around.”
He nodded.
Once the drinks were brought you downed a few shots to start.
“You better behave tonight.” Yoongi said.
“Whatever do you mean?” You smirked at him grabbing another shot.
“You know exactly what he means.” Taehyung said from beside him.
You giggle at the memory of you fighting off some drunk guys who started a fight with Chi. You were buzzed but boy did you impress your boys, not a scratch left on you. That was a night to remember.
“I’m gonna go dance.” You said practically bouncing in Joon’s lap at the beat of the music. “Anyone wanna join me?”
“I’ll meet you in a few minutes.” Kookie said.
You smiled, shaking your ass as you headed for the dance floor. You found your girls at the edge of the dance floor talking with Cleo.
“Ladies.” You said hugging Chi from behind.
“Someone’s on one.” Said Skye laughing.
“I’ve had a few shots. I feel amazing.” You smiled, running your hands down your body.
They all giggled.
You removed your blazer leaving you in your dress as you didn’t wanna get warm.
“Shall we?” You said pulling them to the floor.
They all yelled in excitement.
Fever by ENHYPEN started playing and you all were grinding on each other. You were in your element. From above your boys watched you. They were in awe of you.
“You gotta see her. She looks hot.” Hobi said.
“That dress.” Jimin said. “I had no idea it was backless.” He bit his lip.
“She’s playing with fire tonight.” Yoongi said.
“This is gonna be a LONGGGGG week for her.” Tae said, smirking.
“Look at her grinding on them.” Joon said. “She knows what she does to us.”
“I’m going down.” Kook said.
They all nodded, eyes still on you.
Letting the music take you, you felt a pair of familiar hands on your body.
“Nice of you to join me.” You smirked, grinding into him.
“You looked too good, I had too.” He held your hips in place.
You hummed, throwing your head back into him.
“Beside,” he began “the show you put on with Chi and Skye, you were killing us.”
“You enjoyed it?” You turned to face him.
“Baby I am so close to taking you right now.” He said. “So what do you think?”
You turned back around grinding hard into him.
His grip on you tightened.
“Don’t start this little one if you know what’s good for you.” He growled into your ear.
“But I like it, baby.” You pouted. “Don’t you?”
You stepped away from him, hands running on your body as you moved your body to the beat of the song.
“Let’s get a drink kitty,” Chi said, pulling you from Kookie.
“Bye baby.” You smiled leaving him on the dance floor.
He shook his head before making his way back upstairs.
“She will be the death of me.” He said plopping down next to V.
“She’s trouble that one.” Yoongi said, sipping his drink.
“Girl you are so gonna get it when you get home.” Chi said.
“Ugh you are so lucky.” Skye said.
“All that dick and they're good looking? I’d be prancing around like that too.” Chi said.
You giggled.
“They treat me like royalty, I wouldn’t have it any other way.” You smiled while sipping your drink. “Besides, they liked the show we put on for them.” You smirked.
“Oh really now?” Chi said.
“Maybe we should take it up a notch.” Skye said.
You knew exactly what they meant.
“Let me find the perfect song.” You smirked walking away.
Sacrifice by Black Atlass ft. Jessie Reyes began playing. You knew what this song did to them, especially if it involved you.
Taking your girls to the middle. You all started off solo before moving in together. Chi in the front, you in the middle and Skye behind you. The boys were watching you like hawks. They knew you had your way with women but boy did it rile them up seeing you like this in the middle of them. Both of them kissing on you as you grabbed Chi's ass pulling her closer. This was nothing new between you three. You had your few share of moments between each other but it never meant anything and never ruined your friendship over it. You knew what you were doing and you were pleased to look up and see them all staring, you blew them a kiss before going back to dancing as the song was coming to an end. Making your way back up top, all eyes were on you.
“You,” V began. “Will be the death of me.”
“Did you enjoy the show, my love?” You bit your bottom lip.
“I should take you here right now,” Hoseok growled. “Let everyone know what a naughty slut you’ve been.” He bit your neck. Earning a moan.
“Shall we head home then?” You put a finger under his chin.
“Let’s go.” Yoongi said, pulling you away.
Walking through the club to leave the girls spotted you being rushed away. They giggled. They knew what kinda night was underway for you.
“Don’t break her!!” Skye yelled.
“We have a retreat after your vacation. She’s gotta be there.” Chi added.
You laughed at them waving bye.
Getting into the limo you were placed on Jimin’s lap.
“You were naughty tonight.” He whispered in your ear making you squirm.
“Do you know the things we wanna do to you?” Hoseok said into your other ear.
“I wasn’t that bad daddy.” You moaned out as Jimin began doing circles on your nipple. Hoseok pulled your dress up, exposing you. The cool air hitting you made you moan.
“No bra or panties?” Yoongi said. “It’s like you wanted a punishment.”
“But look at how wet I am for you daddy.” You whined out at them.
They groaned, they loved you in this state. All turned on and willing to do anything for them.
“Touch me baby.” You whined at Jimin who was running his finger on your thigh getting very close to your heat.
“Not here princess, we’re almost home.” He whispered.
You let out a whine.
“Keep it up little one or you won’t be getting any dick tonight.” Jin said sternly.
You instantly shut up.
“That’s a good girl.” Namjoon said.
Once home they all hurried inside, Jimin holding your waist kissing on your neck as you walked in the house.
Once inside he pushed you into the door leaving a trail of wet kisses on you.
“Tonight Jimin and Hobi have their way with you.” Jin said. Earning a whine from Jungkook.
“It’s okay Kookie, you can have a taste tomorrow.” You said biting your lip.
“You’re in for princess.” Hoseok said, putting you over his shoulder.
He entered the play room (Red Room if you will) placing you on your feet.
“That was fun.” You giggled.
“It’ll be more fun once these clothes are gone.” Jimin said.
“Strip baby.” Hobi ordered.
You pulled the straps down your arms before letting the dress slip to your feet leaving you in your heels. They both looked at you in awe. The curviness of your body drives them crazy. You bent down to undo your heels when they stopped you.
“Leave them princess.” Hoseok said.
You stood back up.
“Aren’t you both a little too dressed.” You crossed your arms.
They began undressing, your eyes practically ready to fall out at the sight of them. You were ready for them.
They saw you staring, Jimin beckoned you with his finger to come to them. You instantly got on all fours and crawled. Once in front of them you were eye level with their cocks. You reached out for them only to be swatted away.
“Bed. Now.” Hoseok ordered.
You got onto bed waiting on your back. The quietness of the room only made you more anxious. You were about to speak when you felt a mouth on you, making you cry out. You grabbed onto what you could that thing being Jimin’s head. The things he was doing to you were incredible.
“Jimin.” You moaned out. “More..please.”
“You want more baby?” He said in between licks.
He soon entered a finger making you moan loud. You felt the bed dip, looking over you were met you Hobi’s dick.
“Open little one.” He said.
You opened eager to taste him. He entered with ease , starting off with a slow pace before ducking your throat. You were in heaven.
“I’m gonna add a second, okay baby?” He asked.
You moaned out against Hoseok's dick as a second finger entered you. The vibrations from you caused Hobi to groan, almost bottoming out.
“I-I’m close.” you moaned.
“No you’re not.” Jimin said, removing his fingers.
You whined at the loss of contact.
“Don’t be a brat Y/n.” Hoseok growled. “Ass up.”
You got up quick.
“That's a good girl.” Jimin said coming up behind you.
He began running his tip against your opening.
“I-I need you..now.” you moaned out. “Stop teasing.”
“Why should I?” He began. “You’ve done nothing but tease us all night.”
“But you enjoyed it.” You giggled.
Jimin slapped you on the ass. You moaned loud.
He entered you slowly, letting you adjust to his size. The amount of times you have had them all in you and yet you still couldn’t handle it.
You cried out gripping the sheets as he entered you fully.
“Move baby.” You said.
He began slow, building up a steady pace. You were a morning mess.
“You like when hyung fills you up?” Hoseok said watching Jimin fuck you.
You cried out.
“Answer him.” Jimin said earning a slap to your ass.
“Yes Hobi,” you moaned out.
“What was that?” He said getting close to you.
“Yes daddy.” You mewled out.
“Good girl, look at you taking his cock.” He cooed.
“I’m gonna cum.” Jimin moaned.
“Cum baby.” You yelled out. “Give it to me.”
A few more strokes and he bottomed out. You collapsed, laying on your stomach for a few seconds before Hoseok flipped you over.
“Get ready baby.” He smirked.
Sex with Hoseok was something else, he was always tying you up and doing everything in his power to please you.
“We’re not going all out tonight.” He said entering you. “ I’m not going to last very long.”
You cried out as he began a brutal pace. He knew exactly what to do to get you to cum. You could feel the knot beginning to form in you, you were close.
“I’m close Hoseok.” You moaned.
“Me too baby,” he said almost out of breath. “Just hold out for a bit, ok?”
You nodded trying your hardest, you ended up clenching around him making him lose focus.
“Cum for me princess,” he said.
You cried out as you released on him. He came soon after. You were out of breath, you couldn’t wait for what the next few days brought you. They took notice of your state and knew you were to pass out soon,
“Let’s clean up baby and then you can head to bed.” Jimin said already working to clean you up.
After cleaning up they placed you in your bed, both getting in on either side of you. Both wrapped their arms around you making you feel safe, you soon began to drift off to sleep.

Walking through the entrance of the bar, you walked straight to the booth where everyone was, making sure to signal the bartender your drink. As you arrived at the booth, you sat on the edge next to Hinata, plopping down next to them. Everyone greeted you as you smiled at them. “I thought you weren’t coming?” Hana smiled at you.
Shrugging your shoulders, you smiled at them, “I changed my mind. Where Bokuto?”
“He went to the restroom with Keiji,” Hana sighed.
“But that was thirty minutes ago,” Sakusa rolled his eyes.
“I saw them left,” Hinata chuckled, “they probably went home.
Thanking the waiter for bringing your drink, you took a sip, “I need to meet him! I want to see who took the himbo to himself.”
Everyone chuckled at you or rolled their eyes at you. Seconds later Atsumu arrived with a small tray of shots, “All right! I got us a round of shots!”
“I’m not drinking those,” Sakusa shooked his head, sipping his glass of water, “I’m driving tonight.”
“Boo,” Atsumu sat next to you, making you and Hinata scoot over to make space for him. “What about the rest of ya?”
“I can only drink a few,” Hana shrugged, taking a glass.
“I don’t want a hangover,” Hinata cringed thinking what his morning could be.
“I’ll drink some,” You smiled, grabbing one and gulping it down.
Atsumu cheered as you grabbed another glass and shot it down. Sakusa rolled his eyes at you as Hana chuckled at you and Hinata looked at you in concern. “Let’s get this night started!”
“Oh, this is bad…” Hinata looked at you carefully. You’re face flushed red, you kept hiccuping and slurring your words. Sakusa let out a disappointed sigh at you, watching you ramble about animals. Hana nodded her head at you, equally drunk as you while Atsumu leaned his head on his fist, looking at you in amusement.
“But you know what I like?” You hiccuped, “Whenever emperor penguins are about to have intercourse, they bow to each other!”
“That is so cute!” Hana cooed.
“I know!” You looked at her with bright eyes. “But guess what! Guess what!”
“What! What!”
“I know we only just met,” Your bottom lip wobbled at you grabbed her hand over the table. “But I love you!”
“I love you!” Hana cried, leaning over the table. The both of you tried to stand as you leaned over the table to get each other a hug.
“Oh my god,” Atsumu smiled excitedly. “Are they going to kiss? I hope they kiss.”
The two of you didn’t kiss, instead, the two of you cried and tightly hold on to each other as yelled how much the two of you loved each other. Sakusa grew tired of your cries, pulling Hana away from you and making her seat. Atsumu did the same with you, pulling you by your waist as you sat down. Once you were seated, Atsumu let go of you and out his arm behind you on the chair back’s.
You turned your head to face Atsumu with a small sniffle, looking at him intensely. Atsumu raises an eyebrow at you, looking at you in amusement as he waited for what you had to say. “I’m sorry Atsumu,” You sniffed, “I know you are helping me with everything and it’s really sweet but… For some reason, I want to punch you!”
Guilty with your thoughts, you burst down, covering your face in shame as you leaned towards Atsumu and cried on his shoulder. Sakusa burst out laughing, hearing what you said to the setter, Hana crackled at the words, while Hinata looked completely done. Atsumu looked down at your head in shock, not expecting those words to come out of your mouth as he wrapped a comforting arm around you. Patting your back gently, Atsumu assured you it was fine as you kept apologizing. But it became harder for him to confront you when you cried in his shoulder as you said, “And it’s weird because I didn’t felt that way when I met Osamu.”
You wept harder when you said those words in his shoulder as Hana and Sakusa laughed harder at Atsumu. Hinata chuckled a bit but stopped and took an awkward sip of his drink when Atsumu glared at him. Atsumu turned his head quickly at Sakusa and Hana, glaring at them to shut up as he holds you as you cried to him. “She’s not wrong,” Sakusa smirked at the setter.
Atsumu's eyes twitched at him in annoyance but it turned into confusion when you slightly moved away from him. Still having you in his arms, you looked at Sakusa with tears burning your eyes as you hold them back and a wobbly lip. “Sakusa,” Your voice cracked. Atsumu looked at the two of you in anticipation, waiting for what you have to say to him. Sakusa raised his eyebrows at you, also waiting for what you had to say and silently praying you didn’t say anything hurtful. “You have a big forehead,” You breathed out, putting hiding your face back into Atsumu’s shoulder as you cried again.
“That,” Sakusa blinked, “that wasn’t that bad…”
“Oh my god!” Hana wailed, looking at him, “You do!”
“Now this is bad,” Sakusa muttered as Hana holds onto Sakusa as she cried into his shoulder. With a sigh, Sakusa wrapped an arm around her and comforted her, assuring her that he was fine with his forehead.
“I just want to go home…” Hinata muttered to himself. “I just want to sleep…”
“Here’s another order of shots,” The waitress brought a tray filled with the small cups, placing them on the table, and walked off. Atsumu and Sakusa both eyed each other in worry and confusion, trying to think who order the shots. Feeling you and Hana moving in their arms, Atsumu and Sakusa both tried to stop both of you. But they were too slow. You and Hana both grabbed the glass and drowned it down, finishing it off with a loud refreshing sigh.
The three volleyball players all look at the two of you in horror, waiting for whatever was coming next. But instead of the worst, the two of you yawned, suddenly a wave of exhaustion coming over the two of you. Sakusa and Atsumu both look at each other with happy surprised wide eyes. Atsumu slowly looked back at you, seeing your head bobbed up and down as you tried to fight off the urge to sleep, “Ya tired doll?”
You nodded your head at him as Atsumu, moving away from him as you leaned back against the booth and rubbing your eyes. Atsumu moved out of the booth and hold his hand for you to take, “Let’s get ya to bed, doll.”
“M’kay,” You nodded, accepting his hand and getting out of the booth. You wrapped your arm around him, trying to keep you steady.
Looking at the remaining of the group, you saw Hana hold onto Sakusa, trying so hard not to follow. Hinata quickly got out of the booth and waved to the four of you all, “Finally! I’ll see ya’ll later! Goodnight!”
“Goodnight.”
“Drive safe!”
“Ya’ll too!”
“Come to one Hana,” Sakusa sighed, starting to walk slowly as he holds onto Hana, “let’s get you home.”
“Ya too, doll,” Atsumu smiled at you, helping you walk. The four of you walked out of the building slowly. Atsumu and Sakusa both made sure the two of you were all right.
Outside of the building, Sakusa looked at Atsumu, and pointed in a certain direction, “I parked my car over there, you sure you’ll be able to take care of her?”
“Yeah,” Atsumu nodded at him, “I’ve been drinking water when they started to drink so I’m fine to drive.”
Sakusa nodded at him, “Drive safe.”
“Ya too!” Atsumu yelled back, walking towards the direction of his car. Looking down at you, he couldn’t help but chuckle at you, seeing you stumbling over your feet and hold onto him. “Ya ‘kay, doll?”
“‘M fine,” You mumbled at him, seeing his car coming into view.
Atsumu quickly unlocked the car and opened the door, “Let’s get you home, ‘Kay?”
“No!” You said quickly, letting go of his arm and clutching his shirt in your hands. “I don’t want to go home…They are there…Please…Take me anywhere but there…”
Seeing the tears slowly streaming down your eyes, Atsumu cupped your face and wiped them away with his thumbs, “You can sleep at my place, doll.”
“Thank you,” You smiled at him. He nodded at you, returning your smile. Helping you in the car, Atsumu closed the door and went to the driver seat, ready to drive home.
“Wake up doll,” You heard a voice waking your slumber and something nudging you. “Come on (Y/n), I need ya to wake up.”
Letting out a whine, you opened your eyes, seeing a pool of yellow hair. Running your fingers through it, you let out a small chuckle, “Aw it’s a golden retriever!”
“I ain’t no dog!” You heard it yell. Scrunching your eyebrows together, you fully opened your eyes as saw Atsumu glaring at you with a soft blush on his cheeks. Taking your hand away from his hair, you gave him a small apologetic smile before yawning once more. “I need ya to change,” Atsumu handed you a shirt, “can ya do that for me doll?”
Nodding your head at him, you accepted the shirt from him. “I’ll be outside if ya need me,” Atsumu said softly to you, “just holler when ya done.”
Closing your eyes you nodded, hearing him shuffled out of the room and softly closed the door behind him. Looking around, you noticed you were in a bedroom and sitting on a bed.
This place is nice…
Slowly standing up, you started to strip out of your clothes and into the shirt that was way too big for you. Once you were done, your feet paddled on the floor and towards the door. Slowly opening it, you peeked your head out and saw Atsumu leaning against the wall next to the door. “Done?” He asked, hearing the door open.
You nodded your head, peaking your head back in as Atsumu walked back into the room. “Come on doll,” Atsumu said softly, heading towards the bathroom as you followed like a lost puppy.
With the two of you in the bathroom, Atsumu swiftly picked you up and placed you on the sink counter. Looking at him with wide eyes, he sent you a wink before looking through the drawers. You looked at him curiously, trying to figure out what he was doing. Turning back to you, you noticed he was holding a makeup wipe. Holding onto your face gently with one hand, he used the other to carefully wipe off the makeup. Once he was done, he went and grabbed a new toothbrush. Taking it out of the package, he began to wet it and put toothpaste before bring it to your face and simply said, “Open.”
Opening your mouth, Atsumu began to brush your teeth for you. You eyed Atsumu, seeing how focus he was cleaning your teeth for you. Once he was done, he pointed at the sink next to you, “Spit.”
Doing what he said, you spitted the toothpaste in your mouth in the sink. Looking back up, he handed you a cup of water and told you to rinse. Doing what you were told, you gave him the cup back when you were done.
Taking you off the counter, you followed Atsumu back to the bedroom. “I’ll be sleeping in the room next door. If ya need me I’ll be there. Night doll.”
“Night Atsumu,” You smiled at him, walking towards the bed. Seeing Atsumu reaching the door, you quickly said softly, “Thank you.”
“Anytime doll,” Atsumu winked at you before closing the door and turning off the lights, allowing you to sleep peacefully.
