I've always been someone who liked doing the work parts of work---the reading, analyzing, sending emails, etc.---in the morning, and then having meetings in the afternoon. It works with my internal clock, which makes me bright and chipper in the morning, and then gradually fades out over the course of the day. By the time happy hour rolls around, my brain has put up a GONE FISHING sign and is ready to call it a day.

Except! Now I work for a international company, which means that I always have morning meetings, and things don't calm down until the afternoon, when the international teams have definitely logged off. And even though it's been six months and I should be used to it by now...for whatever reason, my brain is still clutching that sign at 3pm, moping around being absolutely useless.
