Can you choose to leave, or are you bound for life unless you fall in love?

What is Thalia and Reyna's dynamic like post ToA?

How long does it really take for Thalia to recover from Jason's death (if ever)?

There is SO MUCH untapped potential here I am kind of in disbelief that we got a standalone Solangelo novel before a spinoff with the Hunters? And with a whole Apollo centric spinoff series we don't get a single short story from Artemis's pov???

something that i don’t think is mentioned enough by the fandom is how Reyna became a praetor, basically ruled camp jupiter and was the most respected person there in basically less than two years

she left Circe’s island in early summer in sea of monsters, right after Percy and Annabeth escape

the events of the lost hero take place 2.5 years later, and she was already a predator by then

we all talk about how Percy became one in like a week, yeah he has his credit but c’mon, he’s the main guy, so of course he would become a preator by the end of the book

but Reyna

in a matter of 2 years this girl and her sister met Lupa and then one went one to become leader of the fucking amazons, and the other went to camp jupiter and became a praetor and the most looked up to camper

reyna as the leader of camp jupiter and hazel as the outcast. neither can opt out of the system the way jason and nico, their counterparts, have, because the camp needs reyna and hazel needs the camp and neither have anywhere else to go. both so alone but unable and unwilling to help the other directly, uninterested in saving the other, instead going through the intermediaries of percy and hylla. both stoically bearing their burdens but inevitably going to crack under the strain. they have to be accommodating they have to polite and thoughtful at all times or they won’t survive in their positions. all duty little freedom and they aren’t friends and they’re both being manipulated by octavian and neither is allowed to snap in public. so strong but so lonely. roman girls <3

Thinking about Capture the Flag wherein Reyna raises her hands and Nico hesitates a little before tentatively high-fiveing her and smiling so brightly when she intwines their hands, waving them around in a silly victory dance.

Everyone always says stuff like "oh Jason was touch starved" or "Nico's touch starved" but I give u this take:

Reyna is touch starved.

She's the leader of a Roman camp, so she probably isn't overly close to anyone and she probably has no one she trusted enough to help her.

So Reyna probably refuses to let people hug her or touch her because she's scared of getting hurt, and the only person she trusts is her sister Hylla, and then it grew to include Nico because you know trauma bonding and all that

Even if she learns to trust people the only 2 persons she'll allow herself to fall asleep around are Hylla and Nico because she trusts them to protect her.

And she's definitely a clingy sleeper, so if she falls asleep around either of them, or either of them are there, she would cuddle them because she felt safe.

If she's sick she would definitely refuse to get help and just keep working herself to death until her sister came and just. Kinda. Pulled her into a hug, and Rey would just melt against her because she's her sister and shit, and all the legionaires would be shocked as Reyna doesn't like people hugging her.
