Hooooooomygawd. This is exactly what I was ranting about in my last post! I should’ve been posted this, but of course everytime I try I get immediately distracted and start scrolling or completely forget and walk away doing something else 😅. BUT HEYYYYY IM HEREEEE, and I’ve decided this week’s spread is underfell based since that’s what most doodles I had were🌚. So let’s just jump right into it,,
1-4.)First off an Underfell! Papyrus spread cause I luv him and I wanted to have one to match his brother. I’ve been planning on doing spreads for each skeleton but obviously that’s going to take a little longer than planned lol! My underfell papyrus has no eye-lights, not because he’s blind but because I like it best aesthetically. I also hc he wakes up early to go to the store, but is still grumpy cause it’s 5 am…even though it’s his personal routine he did to himself🌚. Though! He wears sweats and that’s the ONLY time you’ll catch him in some sweats. His primary weapon is a sharp ended bone for easy access, he’s 6’6 with his heeled boots on, which are inspired by a certain someone. Finally, he has a stinky lazy cat named Doomfanger, I personally don’t like cats but I’d try for him,,
5,6,7.)HOO doggy I needs him😩 my uf!Gaster otherwise known as “Ego” n some background info for him and the boys when they were younger. He was the Royal Mad Scientist and very smart yet incredibly self centered, his experiments sons Sans and Papyrus stay home until he gets back after long hours and can be gone for days at a time. Though his oldest, Sans is very responsible they still wish he didn’t work his hours. Finally, before his disappearance into the core, his sons were both visiting before everything went down, Dr.Gaster, who after finally achieving SOMETHING within the core is faced with two incredibly difficult choices, he who is OBVIOUSLY MAD!!!!!??! Decides to instead leave his children in order to see the truth. This without a doubt is one of the first of many hardships young Sans and Payrus face.
8,9,10.)Last but not least a cat study page for Doomfanger since I found out I wanted to draw a cat without knowing how to draw a cat whatsoever, so I practiced!! Doomfanger is stinky cause he doesn’t like baths, lazy from lack of discipline (surprising but Edge can’t even yell at the poor thing.), and greedy from overeating, does this sound like someone we know?🌚 He has a scar across his left eye and half his fluffy tail is almost bare leaving only fluff at the end. Doomfanger doesn’t get along well with his uncle, which many find odd as they’re incredibly similar, too bad they don’t see it themselves. (Bonus Edge holding kitten Doomfanger, the beginning of a deadly friendship. And yes this one is noticeably newer than the others but it’s on the same page and fits the theme so let’s assume it was there from beginning 🌚😂)

Satan and his nine-year-old emotional support Angel
I've been wanting to draw my own Gaster design for a while now (and of course I had to include LUZY here)
Anyway, I just wanted to say that it's mostly inspired by @huecycles 's take on him
and his eyes are basically taken from @the-meme-monarch Bill Cipher design :]
(sorry in advance if the mentions bother any of you)

IroTale - The end of UnderReinado
Don't read if you don't want spoilers. Do you get context for this? Soon. I wrote this off an inspiration spree and need to post something useful XD Yes, this is canon. All characters belong to me. I forgot who OuterTale belongs to. Error belongs to LoverOfPiggies.
~o0o~
Iro walked in to what she expected. Mountains were falling and the foundations of the world were screaming for help. Something she had seen countless times. Something she never wanted to see in this world. "Ahhh, so the special guest has finally arrived!" Aldrich grinned with his hands up in the air and his smile wide. "Welcome to the party!" Iro did not return such satisfaction. Her eyes narrowed at she observed the light from the foundations starting to break through the cracks of destruction. The stars started to fall, and the islands crumbled. She brushed the palm of her hands on her outfit, cleaning her gloves. Error wasn't going to be happy.
"So this is how you feel when an ENTIRE WORLD is at your mercy!" Aldrich spun with glee, his eyes getting crazier by the second. "The adrenaline is INSANE! It's coursing through my veins!" He let out a consistent cackle that shook his own bones. In the corner of her eye. the ghostwriter spotted the prince's trusted advisor. Ellinor couldn't stop her tears that fell down from her face. After observing the torn prince's robe in her hands, it was clear she had tried to stop him. And he had the audacity to hit her within the presence of OuterTale's stars. "ENOUGH." She could've sworn Aldrich flinched at her voice. "I told you this AU was off limits, Aldrich." Iro hissed in a tone that would make a mortal cower. "Oh please," Aldrich's face frowned and turned to face his creator. "You've broken the same rule before. These people dishonored me! I only did what you did with-" "Does it look like I asked for your excuse?" Iro pulled one of the swords from her backs, approaching the prince. "Stop. Stop this destruction now and I might forgive you for disobeying my orders." "The lights of the foundations have shot from the ground, it is too late." Aldrich bowed playfully. "Just help me finish this, and we can go to your next target." "No, this AU will be preserved. Error said so-" "Why do you even care for that guy anyway?!" Aldrich sneered, his hand traveled to the whip on his pocket. "He's done nothing but horrible things to you! I am repaying him for everything!" "He's done nothing to you. But I will," Iro's eyes started to glow and the dots on her head shifted. "You and your kingdom will punish for this." Aldrich dropped his shoulders. "Really? Another sacrifice? Does the destruction of this AU not suffice your need for blood?!" "Not the blood of innocents." "Hell you mean 'the blood of innocents'? That was your favorite!" Iro did not waver, staying silent. She and Aldrich both knew there wasn't much of his AU left to destroy or take away from him. Iro hoped it would dent his ego if the punishment was severe enough, but it only made him mad. It only made him like her. Aldrich looked around at the meteors and falling stars before glancing over at Ellinor. The red and orange glow of the flames did not compliment her face, and it only dried up her tears to stain her face. Iro guessed she was trying to calculate a way to save OuterTale with her little power to RESET. She made eye contact with the prince, before heaving a sigh of disgust and brokenness. Aldrich grabbed her by the scruff and threw her towards Iro. "There, there is your sacrifice to punish me." Iro raised an eyebrow. His actions became unpredictable. Iro glanced down at the frisk variant. "I'm so sorry ma'am…" Ellinor shook from fear. "I tried to stop him… he wouldn't listen…" Iro grabbed Ellinor and held her up. Her sword was to Ellinor's throat, and two gaster blasters appeared behind her. Ellinor squeaked with fright, her eyes widened at the sudden threat. "Go on then. what are you waiting for?" Aldrich leaned against a rock, watching impatiently. Iro paused, staring into Ellinor's soul before appearing into Aldrichs. "Isn't this your friend? Your most trusted advisor?"
Aldrich laughed before cracking is whip in sync to the meteors crashing on the city. "What?" He sneered. "She means nothing to me. Look at her, I never cared about her. She was an obstacle in my path, and this is my chance to get rid of her." Iro almost felt pity for the girl struggling in her grip. Her gloves were soaked from the girls tears before she went limp. The will to live… to continue on… was no longer in her soul. Her soul of perseverance was giving up. "Go on then, kill her." Aldrich her. "I would love to watch." Iro never thought she would find his smile so horrendous. Her eyes narrowed as the gaster blasters fired up. It would only take one shot to obliterate her. But Iro hesitated. "Ohhhh right, I forgot," Aldrich rolled his eyes, cracking his whip as he approached Iro, seething. "You've grown soft! You don't want to kill anymore," he mocked with his face and fingers. "You can't destroy your own creations after what happened to the other. You're weak." There was another pause as Iro glanced up at Aldrich… no, this couldn't possibly be the prince she created. He wasn't like this before. He wasn't like this until… Until he met her. "You can't even kill the pathetic soul!" Aldrich slapped his own head. "Look just give her back, fix OuterTale or whatever, and we can go to your next target." Iro smiled and stared at Aldrich. "Fine, onto my next target." The grin was wiped off Aldrich's face when the gaster blasters fired into his chest. Iro whipped out her other sword and lunged for Aldrich, cutting his head clean off his neck. She whipped around and stomped on his skull, bending over and smirking. "You have lost your life privileges, peasant." A slight giggle escaped her throat as her victim's dust covered her shoe. "It's about time I put you in your place where you belonged." Ellinor collapsed onto the ground before finding her footing again. "Thank you…" She sighed. "You're-" She was cut off as Iro was suddenly in front of her, holding her in a choking position once more. Her eyes glowed with fury as she spoke. "Run." Ellinor's eyes widened as she gasped for breath. "Run little one, before I change my mind on sparing your life," Iro hissed, dropping Ellinor to the floor. The girl didn't hesitate to nod and run away as fast as she could. Two bright flashes of light followed from the resetting of the OuterTale Timeline. It didn't take as long as the ghostwriter expected, and it gave her the opprutunity to glance back at the pile of dust she created. "Hmmph," She smirked, stretching. "From dust you were born to dust you will return, amiright?" The silence was pleasing to her ear as she watched the alternate universe string itself back together. "Two down, one to go."

ive said it before but early 20-something royal scientist gaster is really funny like the underground definitely treats him like some kind of young hotshot disruptor he’s constantly being hounded by the press for photoshoots and interviews and there are like 5 super popular fanpages on undernet where people gossip about whether he’s single and write rpf about him and asgore, scrutinizing every photo of them together for signs of a secret relationship. STEM enrollments at hotland university increase significantly shortly after he’s hired. his aversion toward the press and unwillingness to speak on himself beyond the formalities of work only serves to further delight and enchant his fanbase. and when asgore, looking almost as heartbroken and defeated as he did when he lost his actual children, finally announces that the handsome young scientist has gone missing, the underground explodes with speculation and conspiracy. did he fall down? but no one just falls down at that age! was it suicide? was he overwhelmed by the constant pressures of celebrity intruding on his already stressful civic duties? was he a tragic figure of young adult workaholism, cut down before his time by a culture that fetishized his prodigious ambition and success at the expense of his health and needs as a young man? myriad thinkpieces are published in the coming weeks bemoaning the invasive institution of paparazzi reporting, and navel-gazing about the Cult of Youth, and criticizing the workplace culture, work-life balance, and mental health coverage for civil servants. meanwhile, more conspiracy-minded monsters wonder if it’s all a cover-up — was he “disappeared” after learning that the king was keeping them all down there on purpose, manufacturing myths about evil humans and unbreakable barriers as a means of control? or was he a spy for the humans, and his so-called “power plant” actually a mind-control device designed to inspire complacency? why even build a sustainable power plant if they’re all supposed to leave for the surface soon? or was the power plant actually a means to his ends — was he from another universe all along, one in which monster and human technologies were on par, and simply using his knowledge from that world to get ahead here? did he need the extra power to escape back into the multiverse? when the royal guard announces that they’ll no longer be actively investigating the case, a small group of civilians (mostly high school/college-aged kids and one very bored stay-at-home mom, all fanpage members) begin their own investigation, poring over records and releasing U-Tube (Underground Tube) videos and MonCasts (Monster Casts) with their findings and theories. the fanpages buzz with scandal: was he caught cheating on asgore and exiled — or killed — for it? he was last seen in public with someone they identified as a master’s student in the University’s music department — the oldest daughter of someone in the king’s inner circle. she’s subsequently forced to deactivate her undernet profile for a time to escape scrutiny and threats from hundreds of Royal Scienstans. of course within a few years interest wanes to nearly zero, attentions diverted to the hot, new up-and-comer — a shockingly soulful robot — though posts still crop up on imageboards now and then by monsters asserting that they caught a glimpse of him in the corners of their eyes while traveling through waterfall at night; or theorizing that the skeleton zealously calibrating puzzles in snowdin is not his “brother” but actually the missing scientist himself in disguise

hi there, i kinda made an oc daughter of gaster and sun from living with a lich and i'm wondering if it's okay if i did that? i remember reading sin mansion and g briefly mentions sun being killed while pregnant (unless i'm remembering wrong?) and i've been obsessed with the idea ever since.
Of course!
Feel free to use your inspiration as you'd like to, my friend.
Also, keep your eyes open for the third fic I'm currently writing, it MAY ALSO tap into similar themes. ;)

Have an idea for a Sans, but I can't draw Undertale to save my life
So, they're an error (very original, I know, but stay with me here), they wear a long coat (I really don't know how to describe it, if you know what Joker's coat from Persona 5 looks like, or if you know what Kirito's coat from SAO looks like, then you have a good idea of how it looks), the cuffs look like the bottom of the hat in the attached image (it may be a repost with the image, idk), I am taking inspiration from fatalerror!sans for the design as well, so the cuffs on the left side look like fatal's left eye with the bluescreen, and the cuffs on the right look like fatal's right eye with the red screen of death. The collar of the jacket looks kinda like that one Megamind cloak with the points on the collar, except it's much smaller, like a jester's. He has normal sans eyes most of the time, but when he uses magic (like gaster blasters and such) he gets the glowey sans eye in both eyes, but the glowey eyes look like Fatal's eyes (the left one is a bluescreen and the right one is a red screen), when he's manipulating a lot of code his eyes go full fatal error. He wears jeans with lots of patches on them (just shape patches used to repair the jeans), and sneakers (usually black or midnight blue). His left eye has a cut through it, like a knife cut, it's kinda slanted towards the center of his face, but it only goes a little past each eye. He, of course, has all the powers of error and fatal error (as well as regular sans of course), although he's still sane, he also can generate DT for himself, although not as much as Frisk, the most he can safely handle (he can overproduce DT if he really wants to, but he starts to glitch a lot more, and if he generates too much, he'll crash which means that he can't use any magic or manipulate any code for a good while, also crashing causes him immense pain, and it also causes his grip on his sanity to slip a little each time he crashes) is about that of dusttale!sans. When he's using DT, he generates a golden flame filled with code (the code is up to the person drawing him, but I always imagine it as either Python or JavaScript, but that's just because those are the only ones I know enough of). Their strings are red, green, and blue (rgb because that's the way I know how to program colors), they can control whether or not their strings hurt people, or if they want they can make their strings pass through people.

Went thru my old sketchbooks and found my old Undertale ocs (and self insert lol but more on them later-)
Bit of lore under the cut lol
I think their lore was something like... 4 friends, Addams and Sabrina are siblings, Zenda has a crush on Sabrina. At some point, Sabrina somehow... Disappears? And this tears the friend group apart. And Jackly for some reason knew something about it. By the time the human falls in the underground Jackly is more lonely than cyclops eye.
If not obvious by now Jackly was the most relevant of them he was my pretty little guy my skrimblo my- you get it. He also was a bit of a sans, because of course he was. But also in retrospective I feel like he resembles more Undyne. Anyway, he fights you only if you kill his (former) friends. But you know he was inspired by sans, look at him wearing Addams' scarf and holding Zenda's umbrella!
By the way, Zenda was a resident of Waterfalls and the siblings of Snowdin. Jackly, however, is fucking homeless so I guess he just hangs around?
That's actually mentioned in the bottom left image, which I won't translate because it's a lot of text and SOOO cheesy lmao. But I will say, there's something there about Jackly's dad studying determination which is ??? I have no idea what I meant by that, like, was his dad fucking gaster? JWTWJDDHJD FUCKING FORGOTTEN LORE OF MY OWN OCS MAN . . .
He does also mention loving sweets which is canon he's a sweet tooth.
Enough of Jackly tho let me talk a little about the others, who aren't as fleshed out but hey! They are there.
First there's Zenda, who was a lesbian because I was still a kid questioning my sexuality and I always had to add a lesbian into my oc groups. She's a goth and she's grumpy and a snarker AND I have no fucking idea what happened to her eye.
Tumblr media
I mean there's this other drawing which... Feels related. Look at that, who's that purple guy? A genderbend? A brother? Second guy looks extremely similar to Addams too. I don't know why I brought this up, these were one off sketches, but I digress.
Addams is a shy guy. Very shy, very quiet, his sister, someone extremely close to him disappearing definitely didn't help. I think he had a weird gay thing with Jackly but Jackly is literally so aro I don't even know.
Last there's Sabrina!
I have no fucking idea what's going on with Sabrina.
Like I think in my old lore it was almost IMPLIED she did this on purpose? Or maybe not, but I remember her not being upset in the slightlest, which you can very much see. She's all dead and disheveled and stuff and she's still like 😁. She also somehow could reach out to Jackly which, I mean... you could almost read that as a hallucination. 😳
One last fun little thing to point out tho!
These guys are SO old the whole "humans and monsters have different souls" things wasn't extremely common knowledge, hence why you can see em with colored souls.
To be honest, I'm almost tempted to remake them but as Deltarune ocs, sort of as bookends y'know? I think it would be cute ksgdjvdjeg

I did it again
Tumblr media
I got the inspiration from those sad beige moms all over tiktok and youtube. I also I wanted to make an excuse to make another girl sans oc
Oh yeah, you can just call her Beige
More about her
♡Personality♡
Bossy as hell
She acts like she is perfect
She acts like a ture lady like how woman acts like in 1940-1950, so basically the opposite how I act
She also talks if she is in that time
Very hard to please
A bit sadist
She is straight???
She won't date anyone. She has standards. She wants to date a gentleman.
Dosent like kids. Dosent hate them, though
Really smart
The only color that she can stand that isn't beige is purple because purple is the color of fear for her
☆Powers☆
She has a bones attack (and of course, it's in beige), but she prefers close combat, so she will use her weapons instead
When she takes off her gloves and touches stuff, she turns the color to beige (she can turn it into any color, but of course, she wants it to be beige)
She can teleport
No gaster blasters
She also likes to use her heels as a weapon
She can also multiple people with her perfume that she wears (she makes it heself)
She doesn't have that many powers, but she is strong as hell and very good in combat
She can see other people's emotions and can change other people's emotions by changing their emotional aura (I know that doesn't make sense since, but you well see)
Weaknesses :<
Bright colors, it doesn't hurt her it just an eye sore for her, and it brings back not so good memories
Running too much because of her heels. She can get a blister somehow
she's not a good doger
Likes♡
Beige (duh)
Likes when she is in control of things
Herself
Random things she will say
Whe she sees bright colors "Ah my eyes
"A real lady won't lick off food from their shirt, Some"
"Some make this blog into a beige blog"
What tf does that even mean?

Forgot to share the rest of this, my bad
This Alphys is heavely inspired on Core!Friskr, so that probably already tells you a lot
Anyways, before I get down to explaining:
TW: SUICIDE MENTION
(Also, VEEEEEERY long post ahead)
In a part of the game (don't remember exactly where, sorry), Undyne mentions she met Alphys at the dumpstare in Waterfall. More specifically, she says that she saw her near the border of a waterfall, and that she "saved her from accidentally falling". From the whole dialogue and what we learn about Alphys later on in the game and all her insecurities, it is heavely implied that she was trying to take her own life, but Undyne, without knowing her true intentions, stopped her from doing so
Now, imagine, what if instead of doing it in Waterfall where Undyne would stop her, she decided to go somewhere closer, like for example, the Core
Just like a certain mystery man, Alphys gets earased from the timeline, and the universe desperately tries to fill in the gap that was created when she dissapeared (and here's where the concept for just one character railed off into a whole AU, BUT FIRST WE FOCUS ON THE GIRLIE)
At first Alphys was stuck in the void, that's where she met Gaster and other people that had fallen into the Core. Turns out people's worries about how someone might fall in there were right, and she felt stupid for thinking "Well the Core has been standing for years, and no one has fallen in yet, so it doesn't seem likely for something like that to happen", but Gaster calms her down saying that he made the same mistake as her, and that it wasn't her fault, that she had no way to know what would happen, after all, the universe itself was hiding all the incidents with the Core
After that she starts paniking. She needs to go back, this is even worse than living her pathetic life. She may have wanted death, because it meant the end of all things, but this wasn't it. Sure, she had cease to exist, but she was still concious, she could still see what was happening in the real world, and how she was now an outsider to it. Her attempts of reaching out start making small fractures in reality: phone calls from unknown numbers that when picked up only make weird souns, TVs suddendly going static with the vague sound of someone calling for help, notes appearing on computers' destokps saying things like "is anny0ne th ree ?." "ca can you h ar mme?" "iT ''s $o cOoold" "do U rembember mE ME-'?", etc. There has been some rumors in Snowdin of people who get lost in its forest, they say that a monochrome dinasour monster helped them get out of there, pointing at the direction they should follow. Those few who tried to touch them say that she tried to scream, but no noise came out of her mouth, then started melting, and dissapeared in the blink of an eye
Eventually, she's able to escape
She can't go back to her timeline; the universe recognises her code as something it has been erased, and so, unable to delete her again, it tries to kick her out as soon as she enters. Instead, she's able to explore the multiverse
I had some trouble thinking about what would be Alhpys' role in the multiverse, as I didn't want her to just be Core!Frisk 2 but Lisa Simpson flavoured, but I think I have kinda figured it out. She of course is found by Core, who offers her to stay on the Omega Timeline with more people like her, which she accepts as she is desperate to be around other people besides those trapped in the void
Alphys has currently three objectives: 1_ Fix the code of her timeline so she can go back to it 2_ Fix whatever the hell is wrong with the Core that keeps deleting people out of existance (Not just from her universe, but from every universe) 3_ Help people
I know "help people" is very vague, and that's why I'm explaining it here. She helps guide those who are lost, either physically or mentally, just like she used to do in the woods of Snowdin. Those who are lost in the way of, they have lost everything, she guides them to Core, as she knows they know better than her about what to do in those situations. But also, she is focused on preventing people to become like her, erased from their worlds (Either by falling into the Core, weird things with resets, whatever the hell happened to most Error characters, etc)
Personality wise, she's still Alphys to her core, but of course stuff like this changes a person. She has become more anxious and a perfectionist, she thinks that she can't dare make a mistake now that she has seen what those mistakes can do. Because of this, she's always on edge, and since her code corruption made her more unstable, she may be quick to jump to anger unlike other Alphyses (She then feels bad and overly apologises for snapping at people for so little)
Her abilities (besides travelling between AUs) include manipulating technology, teleportation, going through walls and other solid objects, and do small jumps in time either forward or backwards (This last ability happens involuntarely, and no matter how much she tries she's unable to control it. Fortunatelly for her, this is something that very very very rarely hapens). These powers are all directly connected to her innestability
Some other fun fact about her: · Just like Fatal_Error, her speach bubbles are messy and difficult to understand (though she is far more easier to understand than poor Fatal over here) · Her image may start melting when she's upset, paniking or stresssing out · She still loves anime, and watches it in the OT with other monsters that live there · Refuses to go to therapy because "I'm not even that fucked up, other people have it worse, lol" (Girl, you literally killed yourself) · She tends to pop out of nowhere, acting like she has been there the whole time (Kinda like Core)
But what happened to her AU? To the empty space she left behind?
Like the very basic Undertale fan that I am, I have replaced Alphys' place in the laboratory with Sans, but I want him to kinda suck at it. I always liked to think that Sans was kind of like Alphys' assistant in the game, so now having him as the main and only scientist, he starts to question himself. "Has the job always been this difficult? How was I able to do all those things? Why does it feel like there's a missing pair of hands helping around here? When did I do any of this?" Don't get me wrong, Sans is a smart guy! But there's a reason why he was the assistant
And then there's the amalgamate problem. He... he couldn't have done that, could he? No, of course not! These entries, they have no name, and he definitely doesn't remember doing this out of all things. Must have been the past royal scientist... whoever they are, and now it is his problem to deal with. He asked Asgore about who had been the previous royal scientist, but he couldn't remember who it was, nor why they needed a replacement. He also mentioned having a deja vu
Sans' issue in the story wouldn't be Alphys' struggle of feeling like a fraud, but instead, he fears the gap in his memory and the unability to keep up with his job. He, more than anyone, has the feeling that there's something missing, and starts believing he has a mental illeness that affects his memory, but all results with multiple doctors say that he's perfectly fine, and that's what's making him go nuts the most. All this research, it clearly isn't his, not only he has no memory of doing so, but he's also unable to recreate it, so why do all these papers have his name on them? He wants to believe the doctors, but he can't, because he can feel the chunk of his brain that has been ripped away from him
Most other characters remain mostly the same as they didn't have such a strong connection to Alphys until the events of the game, but there are two that have been affected by the changes in the universe
If we talk about Sans, then we must talk about Papyrus. Contrary to what happens in UT, here, Papyrus constantly tells Sans that he should rest, take a break. He sees how his brother is over working himself and stressing out, barely taking an eye of his work. This has gone as far as him going to Sans' lab at night because he hasn't arrived home yet, only to find that he has falled asleep while working. Sans tells him that he's fine, that he doesn't need to worry about him, but Paps isn't blind nor stupid, and he sees how he's clearly not fine. Not only is he tired from his job, but he can also see how there's something else bothering him, but isn't sure what it is. If only Sans would open up to him and accept his help (Fun fact, in the events of the game the only reason why Sans is in Snowdin to do his shinanigans with Paps, is because that was one of the few times Papyrus was able to convince him to take a break. He does however leave when the human gets to Snowdin town as he has to get back to his work)
The other character affected by this is Mettaton, but not in the way you'd think. As I mentioned before, the way Alphys tries to communicate with her timeline is through electrical devices, and one of those devices is Mettaton's body. Since she was the one to build the thing, it is easier for her to get in contact with it. Alphys and Mettaton constantly talk in Mettaton's mind; he is the only person who she can make direct contact with. Mettaton, like everyone else, doesn't remember Alphys, but he's very aware of her existance, somewhere, not in this reality. He also is very kin to believe that she was part of this world, not only because some of the things she says make sense and coincide with this universe, but also because, just like Sans, he can feel the gap in his memory, and Alphys fits so well in it. They become friends and bond over the same things as they did originally, but their relationship is more complicated to mantain since Alphy's conection keeps turning on and off
Alphys' and Mettaton's relationship also affect how things in Hotland play out. As we know, the reason Mettaton originally went after the human was because Alphys wanted to act as their hero, but of course, without Alphys in the ecuation trying to feel like a hero, Mettaton wouldn't attack the human, and all the puzzles in Hotland would be turned off as Sans doesn't see a reason to keep them on, inconveniencing people. However, as someone who is outside of time and space, Alphys knows about the resets and saves, and thus she doesn't trust the human, she considers them a threat to her world. Because of this, she activates all the puzzles in Hotland, hoping that they will push the human into the Core and end their existance, and informs Mettaton about the threat, so that he can act on it. But, he likes to think that there's some good in the kid, so all their encounters throught the game are like tests to determine whether they are a friend or foe, and depending on their actions, their final battle will either be just an act to entertain the public, or an actual attempt to be rid of them. Meanwhile, you've got Sans freaking out all over the place because a bunch of dangerous puzzles activated out of nowhere, can't turn them off, and Mettaton has gone all crazy robot mode with not apparent explenation. Jesus Christ lady, you really have no idea how hard it is to keep up that promise of keeping the human alive! (In a genocide timeline Sans himself goes like "Nah dude, fuck that kid" and activates all the puzzles while telling Mettaton to go for the throat)
Also, yes, the fact that Alphys knows about Frisk's resets means that she's also aware of Flowey's. Poor little guy, he has shat his pants a bunch of times when stumbling against her, and he has also gone a bit nuts trying to figure out who she is and where did she come from
I think this is all I have to say about this AU for now If you have any ideas (or any ideas for the name) you can send them to my askbox I'll draw her some other day
Also, I am so sorry for splitting up the lesbians </3 (I'm sure I can find her some Undyne in the OT for her to make out though, if that's what you want)
Edit: I have chosen a name for the AU. "Missing Piece Tale" (I know, super creative /s), or just MPTale for short
I just had a great idea for an Alphys outcode

Termina's Fanfic Ideas!
Because I thought it would be cool to write them down somewhere.
For ones that I may write in the future, I will try to avoid spoilers, but I don't care too much about scrapped ideas so you can use them if you find them interesting enough. Most of them are crossovers, though, so yeah.
Don't have that many at the moment but I'll add more here as time goes on!
Scrapped Fic Ideas
1. "A Smoke to Cleanse Our Souls" (I think that's what it was called. I can't find the document :/)
Fandoms: Friday Night Funkin' x Madness Combat
Summary: Here!
2. "Let the Undead Beware, Too!"
Fandoms: Undertale x Genshin Impact (Never written for Genshin before...)
Summary: Two skeletons get lost on the wrong side of Wuwang Hill. A particular starry-eyed funeral director has her eyes on them.
"Come on, I'll help you pass over! What? The afterlife? No, no, pass over the hill, silly! I'm not going to kill you! Hehe, can skeletons even die anyways? Maybe we should find out!"
"let's not."
"Awww, you're such a party pooper!"
(What the summary says. Basically an AU where the UT and Genshin universes are the same, monsters are free from the underground and Papyrus and Sans accidentally end up on Wuwang Hill in the middle of the night. At first, Hu Tao, being Hu Tao, did what she used to try to do to Qiqi- bury them, cuz they're already dead. Of course, she quickly warms up to them and realizes that they're not... dead. So this is just crack and fluff.)
Unused Fic Ideas (May write in future)
1. "Mind Games"
Fandom: Gravity Falls (However, this is also heavily inspired by "Friday Night Funkin': Mind Games" but I wouldn't call it a crossover. More of an AU. Although the Dearests are here.)
Summary: With Stanley being pronounced dead years ago and nobody else to trust, Stanford struggles to find a place to hide his final journal, and worst of all, Bill still has free access to his mind whenever he sleeps, making him hit a complete roadblock. Until, one day, he hears rumours of a real, actual psychic who could help him with his dream demon problem, who is apparently taking temporary residence for a job- somewhere in Oregon.
Meanwhile, Stanley is doing great, or as great as he could. Despite the fact that he's made millions from his service to the Dearests, he's still too afraid to show his face to his family, especially since he had to erase his identity in order to be able to keep his job. His employers assigned him yet another dream demon problem- those had been popping up more and more recently- but who was he to complain? He was doing just great, after all. Even if it was a little lonely.
(Or: Psychic!Stan AU based off of FNF Mind Games. There's A LOT of details and lore here, and psychics work MUCH DIFFERENTLY THAN TRADITIONALLY, but I'll have to make a separate post for this. I can't describe too much of what happens in this fic without there being spoilers. Just watch this.)
Fics which I am writing but have not published yet
1. "Burning in Hell"
Fandom: Friday Night Funkin' x Undertale (Cuphead and BATIM are mentioned as this is based off of this fantastic mod!)
Summary/Excerpt:
Boyfriend hissed, barely dodging the attack as the edge of the Gaster Blaster's laser beam singed his shoulder, taking off a good chunk of his HP and causing the red heart representing his chest to flicker as he took damage.
While he wasn't weak enough to collapse from the pain, per se, it didn't mean that he didn't falter, and he paused for a moment, just to catch his breath if not for another reason.
"Just keep attacking," A voice in his head Boyfriend could distinctly recognize as not his own murmured, the tone comforting at first, yet something about how they spoke put him on edge. "Just let me take control, let them get the ending they want, and you can go home to your girlfriend. You want that, don't you?"
H...Home?
G-Girlfriend...?
He had forgotten what his true goal was, having been blinded by curiosity. He wasn't supposed to be making friends. He was supposed to be trying to survive, to get back to his own universe where he was supposed to be...
How had he forgotten that?
If whoever this was could truly offer him this, then...
Remembering what he had lost, and equally tempted by the offer, Boyfriend obliged.
(Or: The Genocide Route of Friday Night Funkin': Indie Cross, from the point of view of a confused Post-Pacifist run Boyfriend. One-shot. Title of the fic and the fic itself based off this banger of a song.)
2. "Bonedoggle"
Fandom: Undertale x Friday Night Funkin' (Once again, based off of this mod!)
Summary/Excerpt:
"HUMAN! SO YOU REFUSE TO FIGHT... BUT INSTEAD... YOU WANT TO SING SOME TUNES????"
Boyfriend happily beeped in confirmation, causing Papyrus' eye sockets to widen, but he continued grinning nonetheless.
"NYEHEHEHEHEH! WELL, THE GREAT PAPYRUS NEVER BACKS DOWN FROM A CHALLENGE! I SHALL ENGAGE IN YOUR ART OF... EHH... WHAT WAS IT? RAP BATTLING? RATTLING? AND THEN I SHALL CAPTURE YOU, AND BECOME PART OF THE ROYAL GUARD!" Papyrus was practically glowing as his scarf blew in the wind which came from... somewhere, enthusiasm and determination clear in his voice.
Boyfriend flashed a side glance to Sans for permission, who shrugged and gave him a look which said, 'just go with it.'
Facing back to the taller brother, he beeped once more in agreement, making the other laugh once more.
"SPLENDID!! NOW... PREPARE YOURSELF... TO BE MINDBLOWN!!"
(Or: After the pacifist run of Indie Cross, Boyfriend somehow returns to the Underground in a different timeline, yet Sans still remembers him from their time together. After being stuck in Snowdin after a particularly bad snowstorm, he's been tasked by his newfound friend to entertain his brother. Prequel to the aforementioned fic, Burning in Hell.)

I lost your ask! I have no idea where it went nor do I know who you are!! And I am so sorry for taking so long!!
Hey, may I have a match-up for 1 bara bittybones please?
Living situation: small apartment, further in the country, it's peaceful, it gets hot and humid n the area a lot, I live alone so he could have his own space, no pets.
Owner personality: mellow, paranoid, has PTSD, may need a push to get goin sometimes cause depression, panic attacks I hide n the closet, realist when I'm n right head, antisocial with most but wouldn't be with him, respectful of boundaries, likes to drink wine, crochet, knit, swim, do essential oils, and I'm a model, I can get on with any way they like to give and/or recieve love, spa days all the way, sleepy quiet cuddles I adore, and I draw, patient, long fuse, can be sneaky, will cook a ton.
Wants: a companion
-
Doll(Tale paps neko): These bitties are super affectionate and always feel the need to be around their owner, though this makes them have horrible separation anxiety! These bitties always know what to say when your having an episode(what I often call my 'attacks' and mood swings) or going through a rough patch! These bitties do not need other bitties around and would do well in single bitty homes!
Silkie(tale sans chicken harpy): These bitties are super chill, though need at least 3 other bitties around! They are a more lazy type but still love to get up and move, they can learn how to help you quickly and are not a super loud chicken bitty, they do have feathers that often grow over their eyes but some trimming or a headband is an easy fix!
Appa(tale gaster unicorn): These bitties are a more laid-back type, though a very affectionate one! With their magic they can help get/place things on a higher shelf or just hand you things from a distaince without being underfoot or to close to something dangerous! Similarly to Satyrs their magic has a soothing/calming affect in their fur! Note that Unicorns are a more social type, so having at least one other bitty around is ideal!
Clay(Fellswap paps Satyr): With things like PTSD, depression, and paranoia I had to suggest a Satyr! They have calming/soothing magic in their fur/wool, and with Clay bitties more laid-back and affectionate nature they are perfect an keeping a level head when you need them! They need to be sheared annually or bi-annually so if you want you can make their fur into yarn and make clothes with it! Many of those with Satyrs do, either for themselves or their friends ad family! Note that Satyrs are another Social type! Though Clay's can manage just fine with just their owner!
Boelen Python(two headed(tale and fell) paps lamia): These somewhat odd bitties are super affectionate and helpful! Their patterns are simply beautiful and are great for some inspiration! These bitties are like a two-in-one deal with both of their heads having different personalities an thoughts, though they rarely fight! They will of course do their best to help you and will learn how to! They are big(being 8-12 feet tall as bara!) and give big cuddles!

WOAH THEORY BELOW!
UPON PRESSING READ MORE, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTAND THAT WE ARE JUST PLAYING TOYS AT THIS MOMENT. PLEASE DON'T KILL ME FOR HERESY.
The Base Theory
For the people who just want the idea and no reasoning (and extra flavor behind it), here is the theory:
We, the Angel, and the Knight have swapped our respective characters--Kris was supposed to be the character for the Knight to play, and we were supposed to play as the goner vessel from the beginning of the game. Someone--or something--intervened and messed up our character.
Acknowledgements and Preamble of Explanation
Before I start, I want to acknowledge that this is less of my own, isolated idea, and more so scraps from various theories I have seen and enjoy the ideas of.
I also want to acknowledge that this theory isn't something I live and breathe for--if anything, it's more akin to a speculative fanfic than a full, unwavering theory. I don't want to stick blindly to it as more chapters come out, as I want to try and experience the game by itself first, then make sense of it later.
(At least on Reddit and Twitter, the Deltarune Theorizing Community is very, very set in stone in their beliefs. I haven't interacted with the Theory Community here, so I'm hoping people aren't scary and mean for this. At the end of the day, this is all just for fun.)
So, forgive my theatrics as I lay this idea out.
Mother and Deltarune
One thing I find consistently lacking in the few bits of theorizing I know of, is a lack of the Mother Series in theorizing. This is, of course, understandable, as not everyone who has played Undertale and/or Deltarune are going to have played Earthbound--but I do feel it's a bit of a shame.
As I, personally, have played over half of Earthbound as of writing and played all of Mother 3 (which are both excellent games), it's very evident as to just how much influence those games have on Undertale and Deltarune. For example, Noelle's "missing sibling" undercurrent happens similarly in Mother 3 with Lucas and his lost brother Claus, Giygas is literally present in the beginning of Deltarune in ANOTHER HIM, the ambient cave sounds of the Mother Series makes several appearances, and the writing shares similarities between the two games.
(Imagine my humor when, after playing Mother 3, I replayed Chapter 2 and got the balloon chest. It really reminded me of Mother 3's similar fireworks chest, haha. I wouldn't be surprised if there are more humorous chests through the entirety of Deltarune)
I understand a direct comparison of the two series are futile, but with inspiration comes parallels, especially with writing and mechanics--so, for the sake of playing dolls and pointing out some similarities, I am going to play around with comparing aspects and ideas of the two games.
The Knight and The Angel
Keeping parallels into account, we take a minor step aside to a passive theory I saw in a video by SpookyDood on Youtube (Devil's Heaven). I have not finished the video, but at some point SpookyDood mentions the idea that the Angel that is mentioned in Hometown is a reference to the Player.
Think about the game Oneshot for a moment--we, the Player, is considered and called a god in that game--we just so happen to hang out with Niko during this time. We have no godly powers, at least from our point of view, but we have the ability to use our computer to know things we would have otherwise no reason of knowing.
So, I asked one question: if the Angel, something considered all powerful, is something outside of the world of Hometown, then what is to say that the Knight isn't somewhere outside of Hometown as well?
I argue that the Knight is not someone wandering around Hometown, but is someone outside of Hometown entirely. I have currently three ideas for this:
Gaster
I will be clear with my idea that Gaster is the Knight. Gaster has been shown to be solidly outside of the world of Hometown, sitting at the edge of the game. He was the one who has been keeping an eye on the prophecy, he's been the one to set up the connection with us, the Angel, and he has not been seen since the beginning of the game or in other areas outside of the world of Hometown. However, for the sake of laying out all our options, I am going to talk about the other characters outside of the game.
If we are to set up an analogy for later in this ramble, Gaster would likely be a proverbial Dungeon Master, and we would be the Player. The game would be the world of Hometown and the Dark Worlds.
The Lost Character
The Lost Character (or Lost as I will be referring to them in this blurb) is the character that has never yet been seen in the game. Lost is only found in the code of the game with limited dialogue, as is follows:
(Chapter 1)
Where...
Where am I?
Hello...? Anyone...?
Someone!? Anyone!? Can anyone hear me!?
...
It's dark.
It's so dark here.
Someone, anyone, if you can hear me...
Say something... please...
(Chapter 2)
No one can hear me, can they?
...
I guess not.
To be honest, I'm not even sure I can hear myself.
It's so quiet here...
... and yet, sometimes,
I swear I hear something...
Something like... scratching?
While there are many theories as to who Lost is, I am not here to speculate on their identity. I am here to speculate whether or not they are the Knight--which, I do not believe they are. They say they are completely trapped and alone--the Knight would have access to Hometown.
If we are to continue the hypothetical analogy, Lost wouldn't even be in the room.
The Interruption/Typeface
The Interruption (or as I like to (and will) call them, Typeface,) is the character that interrupts the vessel creation sequence at the beginning of the game, only saying this:
[Gaster: Your beautiful creation...]
Will now be discarded.
Your
name
is
[...]
After this, we wake up in our new vessel of Kris.
It is clear to me that Typeface has some grasp over the outside of Deltarune. It could mean they are the Knight, but I argue something different.
(For reference, I call Typeface that because, if I remember correctly, Typeface is the only instance of the game with that specific "type" in the code, or whatever it's called.)
In our analogy, Typeface would be an onlooker of the game, but has the ability to change things between the two players. Maybe like someone who should not be trusted with an unattended table...
With these ideas of who the Knight is (which, to be honest, is ultimately for my own fun), we can think about what the Knight can actually do.
This is where the analogy I have been setting up fails-- what I have been setting up is a game of D&D or some other tabletop RPG with one player and one person in charge of the whole story.
In actuality, I believe the dynamic is more like two characters playing some twisted game of chess or something, with both having roughly identical abilities. This brings an idea:
As the Angel, we have some (albeit limited) control over people who are not Kris. I am not talking about in battle, as it is stated it is Kris who gives the orders to the other party members, but outside of battle.
The best example of this that we have so far is with Susie in the Ferris Wheel. While we could be affecting Susie's impression of "what would Kris tell me to say", we could also be directly communicating with Susie.
If this is the case, who is to say the Knight wouldn't have their own character, like we have Kris, and who is to say the Knight can solely interact through this singular character? Could that lead to a multitude of Knight-Characters?
But what if I have read the scene wrong or forgot some bit of dialogue and we only have control over Kris? That still lends to the Knight having control over some other character and not directly influencing the world of Hometown, only influencing the character.
If we play with the theory of Gaster being the Knight, that brings with it some troubles. It's heavily implied that it is Gaster who drove the secret bosses mad, not any vessel for the Knight. There is the idea the Knight's presence even in its vessel is maddening, but what if there is something else that is happening?
Mother (2) and Deltarune
In Earthbound, the goal of the game is to defeat the evil alien Giygas, who has been spreading its influence across the world in an attempt to destroy it. However, upon playing through the game, players note that Giygas isn't in the game at all--there is Giygas's army, but Giygas is nowhere to be seen until the very end of the game, where Ness and his party travel back to the distant past, the only place Giygas can be reached and defeated.
Through the world though, Giygas has his presence well known. Aside from his army, he has the ability to dispense some of his influence through Mani-Mani statues, objects that manipulate the mind of whoever they are around, causing normal people to become agitated and money-hungry. However, there is one person who has come into close contact with Giygas: Porky.
Porky, who begins the game as a coward, proves himself to be the right hand of Giygas and fights Ness and his friends at the end of the game--a fight with music that is nothing like any other music in the game. Upon defeating Porky, Ness and his friends are able to defeat Giygas and the world is saved through their sacrifice.
Why is this important?
I am arguing that this is how the Knight is able to influence the Secret Bosses and how exactly the Dark Fountains affect the bosses of each chapter. Both King and Queen have been described as getting more power hungry when the Fountains spring up, similarly to how the Mani Mani statues manipulate the people they are stored around.
As for the Secret Bosses, I argue that, despite playing as the Knight, Gaster is able to contact these bosses in a similar way to how Porky is able to get in close contact with Giygas.
But how do I know that Porky is particularly affected by being close to Giygas? How can I say with confidence that I can compare the two scenarios?
Because, at the end of Earthbound, Porky lives on to become the twisted, world-ending villain of Mother 3, of course. He does not revert to normal like the ones affected by the Statues, he remains a villain, forever stuck in time he was willing to travel to reach Giygas.
Of course, what this means for the full story of Deltarune, I can only speculate. Perhaps as we get closer to the Knight, characters of all kinds begin to lose their minds. Perhaps as dark fountains get more powerful, bosses are going to get more extreme with their personality changes. Perhaps the close influence of the fountains will slowly scratch away at the resolve of our protagonists. I have no idea.
(Could this also mean the Angel has a similar aura around it? With an ability to mellow people? Currently, I can't think of any proof. But it's a fun idea.)
Mother (3) and Deltarune
But this is only half of the theory--I mentioned I believed Kris was supposed to be the Knight's character.
With that, I invite the reader to look to my previous point of how the writing in Deltarune carries similarities to Earthbound and Mother 3.
In Mother 3, there is a character whose identity is a mystery from just about as soon as you meet them. There are a multitude of very blatant clues as to who this person is, but the most potent of clues is the first time you meet them in game.
This character steps out and reveals themself, wearing a color heavily associated with another. One of your party members makes a comment, almost recognizing the character, and the end-of-chapter type scroll directly hints at who this character is. Everyone I have seen play the game, paying attention to the plot or not, always gets the identity of this character correct at this point. And, if they are not confident here, a few chapters down the line there is another blatant reveal that solidifies the identity to nearly everyone. Yet, we the player are never given a confirmation until the very end of the game, long after we have guessed and confirmed the identity. I believe this is what makes the writing of Mother 3 so spectacular that it still sits with me--this plotline is made and resolved so fast, and yet the game toys with your knowledge until finally revealing your greatest fear.
Continuing, I took a moment, reminiscing on the "basically a reveal" scene and thought to myself what would happen if Mother 3 released incrementally? Surely there would be people saying the obvious, what the answer was, and people saying that, no, it was far too obvious and was a trick.
At the end of Chapter 2, I feel we are at this point. Kris has just done for themselves something we aren't even positive any other character in the game can or wants to do. Kris creates a Dark Fountain and lets the end of the chapter play out.
When I first played Chapter 2, I thought this was surely Kris being the Knight. When I replayed it, with the context of everything around it and additional knowledge, I still felt that belief, even stronger knowing how the Mother Series's writing is. Isolated from everything, I could see arguments about how Kris isn't the Knight, but in context it feels extremely obvious as to who they are. (Besides, they are literally a knight. It's a bit humorous--maybe on the nose, yes, but that could be part of the game plan.) (Besides besides, their awesome-friend-pose looks away dramatically from us. This could be their character, but considering we explicitly don't know the face of the Knight...)
However, I don't believe us and the Knight are sharing a vessel in Kris--mostly it's because I find the theories of "Kris is possessed by multiple souls" to be dismissive of their character and to take away from the bad things they have done outside of our influence. I can, instead, see why Kris would scare us at the end of Chapter 1 (they know they're being watched, after all, and love playing pranks on anyone) and Chapter 2 (perhaps they feel upset about the prospect of eventually having Susie leave once all the Prophecy business is done, and they want to prolong the adventure through any means necessary?)
Kris and the Player
As we know, Kris is not the player. They are not an extension of the player, they are not a self insert, they are not us and we are not Kris. If we think back to Oneshot, you can see why I chose that game to illustrate our connection: we can only talk to each other, we do not know Kris's backstory and they do not know ours. However, we can also visualize this in the D&D idea I had brought up earlier.
When you play D&D, you are not literally your character. You put yourself in your performance of them as you play, but your character is not you in game, it is controlled by you. Your character had a backstory before you came along and brought them on an adventure, they had a personality you had created, you can make them act out of character or against your party's self interests, they are your doll to play with.
I argue this is a better way to interpret Kris and the Player--if your D&D character was alive in the world before and still held some agency and was aware of you, that would be something akin to Kris.
Now imagine you never made your own character, your DM hands a random character sheet to you AND your character was also alive in the world before and holds agency. THAT is how Kris is. Our character we designed has been taken by someone, and all we can do is play with a character we know nothing about and try our best to still act as they would.
From this D&D style of looking at things, there is an idea as to why Kris is the only human in town: the Knight made them. The Knight engineered their character to be the perfect Knight in Shining Armor, maybe even using parts from the Goner Maker like we did. (When I first played Chapter 1, I noticed that we could get very close to designing a character that looked identical to Kris, but never quite perfect...which gave me the idea that Kris was a Vessel... I'm not fully sure how I stand on that theory still (Kris's aversion to other humans and relationship to the bunker make me suspicious...), but it is food for thought.)
It could be possible that, if character creation continued as expected we would be filled into our character's backstory and be able to act accordingly. Besides, in the Prophecy, all is said a human is a hero--which could be any human, especially since we were instructed to make a human of our own.
(Not to suggest beta work to be canon, but it might be nice to point out that beta sketches for the Prophecy never mention Kris by name: only Susie is mentioned. But the context around that is that it is simply sketches, so that's more of a stretch.)
In fact, the Prophecy is quite strange once we sit down to look at it and analyze it with the idea of Kris supposed to be the villain. In fact, many things are odd when this comes into account...
The Prophecy and Ralsei
If there is one thing I truly and honestly believe, it is that Ralsei is intentionally holding information away from us. From a writing perspective, this makes sense, but from the context of the story and theory, it makes sense if we assume one thing: Ralsei knows who Kris is supposed to be. He is the one who knows the prophecy inside and out, maybe there is something fundamentally wrong about Kris that tipped Ralsei off?
We do know that no one else in the world of Hometown and the Dark Worlds knows the Prophecy. The only assumption we can make for anyone else to know anything would be Gaster, who, in the early days of the Deltarune Website, had mentioned a few lines of the Prophecy. This would make sense, especially if with his experiment he wanted to create more Dark Worlds, and to learn about the risks of the prophecy would be paramount to his understanding.
In fact, let's recount the Prophecy now, just so we all remember what it says:
Once upon a time, a LEGEND was whispered among shadows. It was a LEGEND of HOPE. It was a LEGEND of DREAMS. It was a LEGEND of LIGHT. It was a LEGEND of DARK. This is the legend of DELTA RUNE For millennia, LIGHT and DARK have lived in balance, Bringing peace to the WORLD. But if this harmony were to shatter... a terrible calamity would occur. The sky will run black with terror And the land will crack with fear. Then, her heart pounding... The EARTH will draw her final breath. Only then, shining with hope... Three HEROES appear at WORLDS' edge. A HUMAN, A MONSTER, And a PRINCE FROM THE DARK. Only they can seal the fountains And banish the ANGEL'S HEAVEN. Only then will balance be restored, And the WORLD saved from destruction. Today, the FOUNTAIN OF DARKNESS- The geyser that gives this land form- Stands tall at the center of the kingdom. But recently, another fountain has appeared on the horizon... And with it, the balance of LIGHT and DARK begins to shift...
The Prophecy is the story about the Heroes that will come to protect the world as it reaches its end, a simple idea. However, there are a few oddities to point out:
The final "paragraph" of the prophecy (Today, the FOUNTAIN OF DARKNESS onward) is most likely not actually part of the prophecy.
The part written in wingdings is the section as follows:
THREE HEROES APPEARED TO BANISH THE ANGEL S HEAVEN
The assumption that Angel refers to the player could imply the Heroes will eventually remove the Player from the world of Hometown. With the idea that it is not Kris who closes the Fountains but the Soul the player controls, this is almost reminiscent to how Oneshot ends, with the player themselves using their own power to break off from the world of the game.
The choice of words "Only then" raises concerns... if the Heroes only arrive when the world is about to end, why are the heroes here now? Are these even the heroes of the Prophecy? Are all heroes needed for the prophecy to be true, or is 2/3 (or 1/3) alright? Or, is the world already on the brink of destruction?
The Prophecy is not written down, at least not anywhere we can currently access. It could be a story handed down through time, Ralsei could be omitting important information (such as the Roaring), or it could simply be misremembered.
Unfortunately, we do not have complete information about the Prophecy. If Ralsei trusted Kris and Susie to help save the world, why would he withhold such important information, like the Roaring? Out of fear Kris and Susie would back out? Or be too intimidated to continue with the Prophecy?
In fact, Ralsei states that he enjoys being alone with Kris on the boat ride in the acid river. However, he knows he is not truly alone with Kris because he can avert the player's attention to somewhere else, then speaks to Kris in true secrecy. For all we know, Ralsei could be telling Kris about how he knows Kris was never meant to be the hero? Maybe Ralsei puts up a front in front of the player, but takes it off when he knows he isn't being watched? Unfortunately, we do not know.
There aren't too many holes to poke at Ralsei's character aside from shrugging off Spamton NEO coldly, even as it is clear Kris did not handle the battle well. The most speculative idea is that Ralsei, in his knowledge of the player and extensive knowledge of the legend, could be piloted by another character outside of the game, just like we pilot Kris. He could be controlled by Typeface, who took away our original character.
Or, most likely, he's just... off. There isn't much about Ralsei, but it feels like he knows about Kris's role swap.
Final Words
With chapters 3 and 4 only about a year away (2 max, I'm sure of it,) I cannot wait for this idea to either be refined or to be completely ruined by the game. I had too much fun thinking about this character-swap theory, and thought way too far into everything, as is a given I'm sure.
Please forgive any errors in writing this, I was ultra focused and this took about 3 hours to finally put to. post. So I really don't want to go back and edit everything to be honest.
Please don't hunt me down for this, thanks.
Dolls. We are playing dolls.
if i share a (half baked) deltarune theory on here will you all play dolls with me (understand that its less of a theory and more speculative fanfiction and not attack me) (even if what i say goes against common belief)

Note
Can you show examples of the skeletons' weapons that they have in OTOTBP?
Oooh yes, talk to me about weaponry! I'm not a great artist when it comes to drawing but I'll share the concept pics I saved for my own reference while writing. I think I have the right artists credited here, if I'm wrong, please correct me.
This got long so all weapons are under the cut.
Tumblr media
Sans: Gaster Blaster
Our classic boy has his classic weapon, the Gaster Blaster that we see in the game. Long range to keep an enemy at a distance and hands free so Sans can concentrate on dodging. I didn't change anything up for this one, just straight copy and paste idea.
~Photo came from Teahub. I didn't see a link to the creator
Tumblr media
Papyrus: Bone Staff
Also a pretty basic weapon. Papyrus doesn't need anything fancy to take someone down. He usually fights like we see in the game, by sending bones at his opponent from afar. But if hand to hand becomes necessary, out comes the staff!
Papyrus likes a little flair to his bone-work so he can shrink or grow his weapon to his liking, though the staff is usually about shoulder height on him. Occasionally he will wield two shorter bone clubs (about the length of your arm) instead of the single staff but the look is the same.
~Photo is a reference from the game.
Tumblr media
Blue: War Hammer
Blue wields a two-handed war hammer. Having the face of a Sans, his weapon has the classic blaster skull, but he attacks like a Papyrus. Which is usually up close and personal fighting, though he retains the Sans trait of being incredibly difficult to hit.
Blue is small and very nimble, but his strength is nothing to sneeze at. You do NOT want to be on the receiving end of this hammer. Blunt-force trauma on the front, armor piercing spikes on the back, just like the French used to make.

Stretch: Scythe
This is photo is the exact inspiration for Stretch's weapon. Though in my mind's eye I see it as a little slimmer/smaller to mimic a real world scythe's proportions. The blade is still long and curving, the blaster's "breath" being that sharp blade. Traditionally scythes are not weapons, they are farm tools, but damn if they aren't efficient at cutting things down to size (Karmic retribution anyone?).
Stretch looks like a Papyrus so his weapon is hand-held, but his personality is of a Sans. This weapon has a long reach and can keep an enemy at bay. Stretch doesn't like to fight but he can swing his weapon around like it's nothing.

Red: Chain Whip/Flail
Red is a Sans so he fights from afar. The end of his flail has a curved and sharpened bone instead of the barb shown in the picture. This weapon is mostly used for piercing armor, tripping up an enemy, or tangling them in the chains so they can be hauled in to be dispatched by a bone attack. Retreating opponents can also be caught and strung up for interrogation.

Edge: Rapier
Edge brings the fight to you with his rapier. I see the basket to be like a rib cage to protect his hand. In real world applications, a rapier is generally a side arm and is usually complimented with a buckler, dagger, or another sword. However, Edge uses this light weapon to make fast, precise attacks to cut and puncture enemies to dust in Underfell.
Any off-hand assistance is summoned bones to deflect an attack or to send bone patterns at a number of opponents that would be too many to take with this single weapon.

Tumblr media
Black: Twin Dirks
Dirks are generally longer than your typical dagger, but shorter than a sword. Black fights up close and personal with one of these bad boys in each hand. I would be remiss if the handle wasn't bone of course but the blade is just as sturdy and flat as the photo.
Black fights with two hands like Blue does with his two-handed hammer. But his weapon is a blade like Edge's.

Tumblr media
Mutt: Long Bow
Mutt falls into the long range fighting category with his fellow Sans type personalities. But unlike Sans who shoots hands free with a blaster. Mutt fires manually like a Papyrus would. Being his underground's hunter, the bow was an obvious choice for him.
If you take that skull on the top half and mimic it on the bottom half so they are symmetrical, that is what I see his bow looking like.

And those are the inspiration photos for the boy's weapons! Thank you so much for the ask!

500 Followers Appreciation Bitty Profiles! (+ Bonus bitty!) (ALL FREE TO ADOPT)
Fellswap Gold Lamia Bittys
Tumblr media
Merlot
Snake: Taipan
Venomous?: Yes
Size (Bitty): Length - 0.5-1m (1.6-3.3 ft.), Standing - 0.25-0.5m (0.8-1.6 ft)
Size (Full Sized): Length - 1.5-2m (5-6 ft), Standing 1-1.25m (3-5 ft)
Merlots are very calm and soothing bittys, they always seem to have it together. It can be easy to let them take control of things – you always feel like they have your best interests at heart. Merlots are very distinguished, they don’t appreciate looking disheveled, it gives them an almost “old man” quality. A Merlot’s nest is impeccably clean – you may even find a doily or two! And they somehow have a bowl of no-name candy to offer guests like a strange satire on how seniors live everywhere. However he had an eye for quality and doesn’t accept poor quality furnishings. While a Merlot doesn’t mind taking charge, he appreciates an adopter who takes initiative. A Merlot isn’t above using intimidation to get his way, but he’s so smooth about it you have a hard time noticing! He prides himself in being unflappable, to demand respect without screaming for it. He certainly has a devious side – he didn’t get this far without knowing how to “play the game” and isn’t above a few white lies for the sake of it. He can be quite paternal as well, he enjoys taking younger bittys under his “wing” and helping raising them. While he can seem rather stiff he’s actually a warm-hearted bitty who enjoys cuddles and being needed.
Tumblr media
Espresso
Snake: Black-tailed Criibo
Venomous?: No
Size (Bitty): Length - 0.75-1m (2.4-3.3 ft), Standing - 0.25-0.5m (0.8-1.6 ft)
Size (Full Sized): Length - 2-2.5m (7-8.5 ft), Standing - 1-1.5m (3-5 ft)
Despite the name: Espressos aren’t very active bittys. They mostly prefer the quiet – gaming and drawing are their favourite hobbies. They tend to be shy and soft spoken – loud people can startle them into muteness and a lot of the time they prefer to communicate in non-verbal ways. If you want a gaming companion an Espresso is your perfect bitty match: but be warned – gaming is a fixation for them. If you ask them to not continue a game until you can play it together later it’s almost unfair to them, they’ll become obsessed with what’s next. Games with both single player and co-op content is more ideal – he can work on the single player campaign while he waits for you to come back to the co-op campaign. His shyness makes multi-player gaming a bit hit or miss – he doesn’t like gaming where a lot of communication and strategy is necessary – he prefers staying quiet and working towards objective without any instruction given or taken. His exception is co-op, he loves playing games together with you and feels his most accomplished when you both complete a challenging level together. He isn’t super competitive but takes pride in his skills so be careful setting up play-dates with bittys that may not appreciate losing to a quiet, seemingly submissive bitty. Despite his quiet and gentle nature he isn’t one to allow people to take advantage of him  or disrespect him – he will stand up for himself, usually by exiting the situation instead of getting into an argument, and when pushed, he WILL fight back. He is surprisingly skilled and controls his magic well.
G!Siblings Ampitheres
So I decided to give my ampitheres the same human-like intelligence of all my other lamia bittys, but restrict them to a one-size bitty like my Harpys. Honestly a full size ampithere’s wingspan would make them pretty tough to house indoors…
Tumblr media
Suave
Snake: Bolen’s Python
Venomous?: No
Size: 1-1.5m long (3-5ft), 0.5m (2ft) standing
Suaves pride themselves on being, well, suave and flirtatious – it helps them stay in control of the conversation and relationship so you don’t discover how much of a dork they really are. Suaves inherited Gaster’s love or building important monuments – like the Core. He’s interested in work that will stand the test of time, with the added benefit of being practical. He’s not interested in building, say: the Pyramids for vainglory. But, if that Pyramid was covered in solar panels that provided electricity for the nearby citizens – that’s up his alley. He also has an interest in motorized vehicles like cars, trucks and motorcycles – but he admits he’d have a difficult time using one without a lot of modifications. Which could be fun. Suaves love flashy experiments and inventions that leave an impact on his audience: however, when he’s working on his next big thing he ends up working at all hours of the night in his pajamas. His inspirations are flashes of brilliance and a flurry of work, after which, he collapses into a deep sleep for up to 36 hours. Despite appearances Suaves are huge nerds who love to share their work with interested listeners and isn’t above goofy shenanigans. They share a Sans’ sense of humour and laid back attitude – but it’s a mask to cover the whirling chaos of the mind within. Suaves can be surprisingly immature and will get a kick out of pranks and childish humour. A Suave can summon up to four disembodied “hands” to help him work on projects that require dexterity but doesn’t often use constructs in offensive magic. He’s more of a behind-the-scenes guy – but he can certainly manage bone attacks.
Tumblr media
Savvy
Snake: Amazon Tree Boa
Venomous?: No
Size: 1.25-1.75m long (4-6ft), 0.75m (2.5ft) standing
While Suaves are the rock star scientists, the Savvys end up being in the babysitter role more times than they’d like. Savvys inherited Gaster’s interest in the soul and physical health of monsters and humans; since Savvys are on the autistic spectrum it helps them understand others better because, although they have trouble empathizing with others, it does not mean they don’t CARE. I head-cannon that smoking is a Gaster-trait and a Savvy’s Papyrus half REFUSES to participate in such a disgusting habit! Therefore Savvy’s tend to have an oral fixation to make up for the lack of smoking: chewing on the end of pencils, pens, their own tails… and rely far too much on caffeine. A Savvy works hard, but on a schedule and his experiments are always tightly controlled as opposed to a Suave’s scientific method. Savvys are polite, distinguished and a bit absent minded when it comes to personal relationships. If you’re looking for a bitty that will faun over you – look elsewhere. While Savvy’s certainly care about their adopters and family they are independent and self sufficient. They can seem humourless but the right touch can send them into giggles, they are very passionate about their interests and appreciate an interested audience (or at least captive). Savvys enjoy being needed and do well in situations where they can work as doctor’s, biologists or psychologists. They’re not judgmental and they like to look at the world with endless curiosity and enthusiasm! Savvys can summon up to four disembodied “hands” to help him work on projects that require dexterity but prefers to use his magical energies in his studies and use of healing magic. His offensive magic abilities are rather stunted because of this.
Bonus Lamia Bitty - Blueberror
Tumblr media
Blue Ribbon
Snake: Blue striped Ribbon Snake
Venomous?: No
Size (Bitty): 0.5-1m (1.6-3ft), 0.3m standing
Size (Full Sized):1-1.5m (3-5ft) 0.5m standing
Ribbons are afraid of being alone (autophobic), they know that being alone in the anti-void is what caused their transformations from Blueberries to Blueberrors. They thrive in large families and want to be seen as a friend and protector by the group. Do not adopt one of these guys if you spend a lot of time out of the home and can’t provide them attention. A bitty family is a good stop-gap but they really need validation and one-on-one time with their adopters. Ribbons retain most of their personality traits from their Blueberry days but they’re a little… off. A little, too intense. Ribbons can get caught up in an emotion or situation and can spiral out of control whether the emotion is: joy, anger, frustration, or fear. They need a patient friend who can help them “reset” their emotional clock. Of course, being an Error, it sometimes causes a hard crash that they need to restart from. Depending on the situation they can forget completely what had set them off and will continue along like nothing happened. Other times, they remember what happened but the restart gave them enough time to reprocess so they can move on and get past what set them off. They can get depressed easily especially is someone is afraid or intimidated by him – he knows he’s different now, but he’s still a good guy at heart! A Ribbons magic is star-based – they create star-shaped attacks and can even summon a star to ride around on like Kirby.

Hello! This is Sugar! Wanted to let you know I think you are an amazing writer and I believe in you! I had a quick question for you tho, how/when did you know this was what you wanted to do?
Sending you love!!💚💚💚
Short answer: This has been a long and broken path. Wanting something and making it happen was a series of false starts and self reflection.
But I have always loved storytelling. So here’s my long answer:
I started making OCs for my favorite shows since I can remember. They were all originally self inserts with powers or alterations. To name a few, I had a best friend to Sonic, a sixth Power Ranger, and an immortal being of the Force that helps Luke on his journey. There were so many.
My first fanfic was in Harry Potter, and… well… I don’t know if anyone remembers Fanfiction.Net and it’s toxicity level in the 90s… (who knows, maybe it’s never changed?) But my tiny little 12-year-old-written self-insert was eaten alive and spit out to die slowly. I had like 12 views, no likes, and 3 comments of vile cruelty.
So then I only wrote for my friends. I created a multiverse combining OCs from Dragonball Z to Star Wars… Gundam Wing to Harry Potter… Xanth to Xena and Hercules. I made their descendants, lore, etc. But it was all for my friends’ eyes alone.
In high school, I went to Creative Writing summer camps (which I later became a camp counselor in… Ah, summer jobs…). In college, one of my majors was English with an emphasis on Creative Writing. But I did realize I had another calling by then too. One that was a bit more stable. And, honestly, Creative Writing courses killed my drive to write. I was looked down on for aspiring to be a “genre writer.” And it’s crazy to think I listened to them, but I did… except once…
In my senior year of college, for my last story, I wrote about Lucifer’s fall from the perspective of the fallen angel himself. It was inspired by John Milton’s Paradise Lost (which I had taken an entire course on) and my own battle with my faith, Catholicism. I had been an active member in the church, but in college I finally let myself explore parts of me I didn’t before. I had sex. I let myself finally acknowledge that I wasn’t straight. I had more sex with everyone. I dated guys and girls, non binary and trans. And I became an outsider to the world I once knew. All that taken into perspective, I felt for a character who used to be so close to God’s right hand, and then loses his position because of choices that didn’t fall in line with the teachings. So I wrote from my heart in a tale as old as patriarchy.
And no one in class made a goddamn negative critique.
I don’t know how many of you out there have ever taken a creative writing class, but I still can’t put into words how shocking it was to not receive even a single red note. Not even that pretentious jackass who was already published in multiple online magazines had any comment for improvement. Instead, what was supposed to be a fifteen minute round robin of commentary became an hour long conversation about how jarringly relatable Satan is as a protagonist. Some were grappling with God as a tyrant. Others enjoyed the juxtaposition of Jesus and Satan. It was awesome. It was fun. It was everything I wished a my entire four years had been: talking about ideas.
But then I didn’t get a single call back from any graduate schools when I decided to use that piece and genre fiction in my portfolio. So I focused instead on the job I did get that does the other thing I love.
And I stopped writing.
Fast forward almost ten years. I’m now married, career secure, and looking to have a baby. I haven’t grappled with the fact that I love sex but have married an asexual man who I love beyond words. I’m also going into heat. (That’s a more honest way to describe the “ticking clock” everyone talks about as you near your 30s and then get into it. Holy hell ovulation is a hungry beast).
I needed an outlet, and it couldn’t be private. I was already too private. At the same time as I’m grappling with this, a friend introduced me to this deliciously dark character of Gaster in Undertale, and I just… started writing.
I created an AO3 account under the name Dark Crystal Demon and I let myself write whatever I wanted to write. I wrote rape by plants and ghosts. I wrote about women with dicks. Myself with a dick. I wrote about BDSM and Master/Pet play and It. Felt. So. Good.
I feel alive writing whatever I want because I can’t be whatever I want in real life. I honestly can’t. I’m highly respected in my career, but that all goes away if I reveal an account like this. I want to keep the career I have. So welcome to my secret den of dreams and nightmares. I’m very good at decorating closets I find myself hiding in.
I didn’t plan on writing for others, but my love for pleasuring others has definitely intermingled with my love for writing erotic content. Most of the time I write for me, but there are a few of you in my DMs who know when I’m writing for you ^_~ I can’t help but tease you. I adore you so.
Teasing friends made me realize I like world building around people’s desires. So that’s when I started taking commissions. But balancing family, career, and writing has been difficult these last five years. You all who have been with me for a while have seen my giant hiatuses in fanfics, etc.
During this pandemic I realized I wanted to finally give writing it’s chance. Instead of taking another career-advancing task, I decided to stay where I am in my job. So for the first time in a very long time, I can finally use my free time for my hobby and not extra work. (Can I just say, making a calendar for when I’m going to work on different fics, commissions, Master Classes, and erotic articles is exhilarating.)
So here I am. Told you it was a long story. Communities in writing are just like relationships, some are abusive and treat you poorly. I got lucky and found one that has let me be me. That’s why, when I tell you all I appreciate your support, it’s coming from the center of my soul. Thank you for letting me be me, especially you, Sugar. You are a very cherished supporter. 💜
