also god i hate the afternoon. i really do. if i could work in the morning and leave and work at night id be happy. if i could spend the afternoon asleep instead id be happy. i usually go to the store i work at in the morning on tuesday to get groceries and to say hi to the morning people i usually dont see but i got a late start and went at 1 pm and it sucked! the vibes sucked so bad!!! everyone was in a worse mood and it was hot outside!!!!!!

#i saw a twitter thread about how morning people are an oppressive class bc they set the tone and force everyone to follow #and thats true #but i think the real worse thing is forcing people to continually stay awake for all the hours theyre not asleep #its just bad! people need naps! people get in bad moods by the afternoon if they get an early start!#if you start in the afternoon youre starting in a bad part of the day #mornings are good and nights are good but afternoons are ass #i will never shut up about bifurcated sleep

Ok ok final thing b4 i go back to what i was doing b4 and not being distracted. But 1 thing i hate abt omori is that like. I cant SAY anything abt it like everyone already KNOWS i cant be like "ogh the symbolism here " BC EVERYONES HEARD OF THE SYMBOLISM THERE likeeee . Its smth i rlly like abt jrwi bc like u basically always have New things to say bc theres accidental foreshadowing allll the time (and also purposeful but tbh most is like smth vaguely said in ep10 which predicts an entire arc or smt) and since its hundreds of hours long, ppl forget things n can be reminded and likeee since its dnd which is so imagination based, theres so much room for interpretation. But w omori its like. I could be like Damn Yea This Rlly IS Like Depression and veryones like Yea. Thats The Point.

#night thoughts #its mostly like. i rlly like how the pace of hs rlly does feel so accurate to what depression n escapism is LIKE #bc like. everythings seems to get sorta slower and longer and more convoluted as time goes on #to the point where being in headspace feels sorta mind numbing #BUT the thing is ik thats just me bc loads of ppl rlly like headspace n ik a lotta ppl have said #that the way the rw is almost more boring than hs and how they couosnt wait to get back to bed is also rlly like fitting #AND THATS TRUE #but for me hs always felt so slow and just. like trekking up a mountain #AND THATS WHAT DEPRESSION N ISOLATION FEEL LIKE #after spending so much time just as Nothing time just kinda stops existing #and the few chances u do go outside n see friends. seems like kickstarting ur brain #n suddenly ur not wallowing in numb lethargy but ur EXISTING #and sometimes it does feel like ud prefer to be in the Slow and Comfortable isolation #until u realise that just huge contrast in urself #idk maybe im tryna make it relate to myself too much #bc i first played it a bit under a year ago when i was in a massive rut and never went outside n never talked to anyone #til one day i decided to go on a walk just. on a whim #and i saw a cat on that walk and like. i see cats round town all the time #but just bein on a walk n feelin the air n seein the cat was the most id felt in months #and idk yea #ANYWAYS back to not being distracted.

#ice speaks #irl stuff #rant in the tags #moved into our new place a few weeks back #and had a big ass celebration after blessing the house #when an old family friend who used to babysit me told me that I've grown very big #and thats true #since we haven't seen each other since I was 10 (am 18 now)#but then my aunt just had to go and remark on my weight #keep in mind im a plus sized person and I was wearing a dress that day #and i said 'well as long as I'm healthy and happy who cares' without missing a beat #which shocked everyone because im not usually the confrontational type #i.e i just keep my mouth shut cause i genuinely don't see a reason to grace their taunts with a response #and im respectful to my elders usually #but i said it while smiling and putting on such an innocent face #that she had to agree with me and apologize in front of the 20+ people who were in the room #since she basically insulted one of the stars of the evening #she kept glaring at me after that #like maam look after your dumpster fire of a family before trying to talk shit about ME to MY FACE #you don't know that i remember what you talk about around me thinking I'm not paying attention or I wont understand what you're talking abo #also love how people think that out of everyone in my family I'm the most gullible and easily influenced #just because i dont react to what comes out of your mouth doesn't mean I am not paying attention #i may be quiet but that just means I'm more observant #on a much happier note i got a lot of compliments for my outfit and my hair #and i have a designated writing and reading spot which is making me more efficient and slowly curing my writers block
