On a scale of Chang Geng to Luo Binghe, how well does your teenage protagonist cope with the realization that he has a massive thing for the guy that's basically raising him?

#15 year old Chang Geng losing his mind fuming alone in his room listening to steampunk wuxia linkin park #while 15 year old Binghe is in the next room over cheerfully updating his teacher crush blog #like yeah teen Binghe is the amount of embarrassed and shy about his feelings that you'd expect from any crush #and he absolutely does have SO many self-hatred issues #especially post demon reveal and abyss-kicking when he's older #but the whole teacher-student/age gap aspect is the one thing about his relationship with sqq that never seems to be a problem for Binghe #meanwhile I just finished spl volume 1 #and at this point I'm pretty sure Chang Geng would sooner kill himself and/or whoever he was talking to #before he'd admit that he has a thing for his godfather #which like. yeah man. #fanart #sketch #my art #bnha #shigaraki tomura #tenko shimura #kurogiri #I cried a bit while playing it I missed the classic LoV I missed Kurogiri WITH the LoV it's been so long :(#and it feels like last chapter (423 atm) broke the seal of sketching them as anything but something static #it took me two or so days to just understand that Kurogiri is... yeah #I can't believe it took Horikoshi so long to bring him back but as I said and will say it again I glad it happened at all #after some thought I just want to sit with the chapters #anyway getting the preordered book was so much fun #it was full of LoV from Toga and Dabi talking about her house to Tenko being upset over being told that he doesn't have friends #and everything in-between basically only Compress left to join in the next volume #I think????#I actually want to get another one already they're so goodddd #and the translation sounds pretty good but I checked some pages not the whole book it'll be boring #it's actually so weird to think that I started a goal of reading the whole series ad it was now officially coming out like this back in 201 #and now it's 2024 and the translation is pretty much ahead of anime and maybe it'll be faster than viz volumes too #since it's 2 in 1 basically - I think it's really great since I save some money but get LoV chapters every time #because they appear every 2 books at the start of the series and back then it was hard for me to get them #but I felt content seeing all the books that I bought when I was visiting family for holidays this month because there are so many of them #and I don't need any wi-fi or internet in general to read them back to back now with an addictional volume #they have some mistakes but I don't mind them it feels good to just hold all of them (and a bit heavy after like 8 books) and now it's 18

I don't know what possessed me to color one of Wakfu's fanart pages, and yet here we are.

For more context to this particular page, this was a fanart made by Ancestral Z that Ankama placed in their Quest for the Six Eliatrope Dofus volume 1's fanart section.

This is genuinely such a clever idea to make: mixing Wakfu with Dofus by putting our iconic wakfu idiots in the dofus manga style 💕💕 No wonder Ankama took notice of the art: it made perfect sense! The fanart can be seen in the first volume, specifically on page 217.

So I've been making a deliberate effort to read manga titles that have gotten popular in the 15-or-so years since I last read manga. I've mostly been picking things I see fans of on my dash, and the titles have to be available to me from Libby. In the year or so since I started making this effort, I've read or am reading My Hero Academia, Haikyu, Jujutsu Kaisen, Chainsaw Man, Spy x Family, Kimetsu no Yaiba, and Yona of the Dawn. I've also read a lot of Bleach, Naruto, One Piece, and a lot of older shoujo titles.

What else should I be reading, yall?

Eta: I'm facepalming so hard I OMITTED MY FAVORITE I fuckin love Kaiju No. 8 yall. Also I've read Apothecary Diaries and the volumes of Dungeon Meshi I've been able to get. And lots of queer stuff ofc.
