I just adored all of this. 😂 my favorite detail is the fact that he still remembers Endeavor's favorite coffee after 10 years.
My sister when she read this: All Might becomes a himbo in his muscle form (she didnt say that exactly)

Guys, what if the final volume cover of My Hero Academia is a callback to the first one. Like, it would be Deku in the big background with a green color, his friends are colored in the background next to him, and the next generation of heroes inspired by him (like Eri and Kota) in the foreground. It will be so fucking over for me if Horikoshi draws this 😭

oh my god seeing rodydeku was such a jumpscare i used to be obsessed with them........
every now and then i clean my room, find my bnha collection, remember i have WHM on a usb stick, rewatch it, and get insane about dekus european boyfriend again. i dgaf about mha anymore i stopped reading it bc 1. i had more important things to spend my limited money on and 2. it got kinda boring. BUT the movies still hold up. thats because thesre finished storylines in themselves! anyway. rodydeku reblog spree is normal and happens regularly. i need to make a rody paper wig. and i need to find a deku cosplayer whos my age & also not fucking weird & also insane about rddk and nothing else

u know even tho csm took a huge dip in quality following the aquarium arc, it’s still better than some of its notable peers. like it’s not even offensively bad, it just isn’t as coherent or as engaging as what we were used to

Now I'll be honest, I wasn't expecting Miruko to be on the inside cover of volume 37. I was thinking maybe on the villains like Toga or Spinner or Shigaraki would be.
But am I disappointed? NO.

Wouldn’t it be funny if Keigo picked up Jin/Toga’s handkerchief when he went to go clean up Jin’s remains

Title: All Good Things Come to Those Who Wait Fandom: My Hero Academia Characters: Toshinori Yagi/All Might, Izuku Midoriya/Deku & Funashi Kurokawa/Kyukage (OC) Completed: 01/09/22
Entry Three: When It Went from Inspiration to Idea When I saw the picture, I had some idea of what it was that I wanted to draw as far as including Funashi in the shot. The inspiration was there, I knew from the moment that I saw the video exactly what it was that I wanted to do, but how to get my character into the shot and make it look legitimate was going to be the trick. I decided before I jumped in that I wanted to study the style a little bit more to see if how close my own style was to it. After watching the anime, looking through the rest of the screenshots that my friend sent me and seeing other people's art, I finally came the conclusion that my style was similar, but not going to be close enough to pass it off as the one from the show. Even if I wanted to try and do it in the canon style, I knew that I was much too detailed to actually drop down to the simplistic lines that come with animation issues because these were stills and not meant to be moved between scenes. And that was when I finally got the idea for this series of pictures themselves. Rather than try to force myself to draw the same way that the anime looked, instead I would take the characters and redraw them in my style while leaving the background as intact as I could. This resulted in me having to learn how to blur, copy and splice different parts of the background to remove any traces of the previous characters' outlines that were there beforehand. This also meant that I had to learn how to tone down the starkness of the new characters by adding filters and lowering the contrast a little bit so that they actually fit in with the background. Even now I still don't think it's quite where I want it, but the mark of an artist is to never be completely happy with what you make. Because that means you're comfortable and won't try new things. Perhaps one of the hardest challenges I faced with this piece was not the way I got Funashi into the picture, but that I had to learn how to tone down my shading. I am used to doing multiple layers of shading with many highlights and different variables in place to make it look right. Anime shading just says no. So, when I am asked what the hardest part of this picture was to complete, I will absolutely say that it was the shading. Because it was so simple and that's not the style I'm used to.

Analyzing vol 1 and vol 42: the story of mha told through covers
The pro heros were always seen as celebrities or god like figures that were playing a part on a stage. In volume 1, all the heros are in red, not shown fully to the viewers, their costumes are the main things that stand out. They look like they are taken straight out a comic book page. Whereas, in volume 42, they are all smiling and can be fully seen. Their faces are what is the most emphasized. After the war, heros are finally humanized and seen as actual people outside of their hero work. They aren’t put on a pedestal anymore.

Izuku being in his tshirt that was given to him in the war, showing that he is a true hero, even without a quirk.

“Can someone without a quirk become a hero like you ?”
The last manga cover is symbolic that Izukus dream to become a quirkless hero was made possible. Deku is the first quirkless UA teacher and later the first quirkless pro hero. That was all made possible by class 1A and shows that they were finally able to make a better hero society where people can feel safe with or without a quirk. Dai being on the cover shows Izuku inspiring the next generation like all might did but this time as a reachable hero instead of an unreachable symbol.
