Vampire AU tpdog is actually a good idea ! Because you know that Dorian would absolutely not mind becoming a soulless creature that relies on human blood if it means keeping his beauty, youth and wealth.

Especially if Lord Henry feeds him enough BS and condones his acts like in the original novel (even if he doesn't know about them).

(I'm assuming it's a traditional depiction of vampires as evil and tormented creature who to against Christian holiness since Bram Stoker's Dracula came out in the same era. And the themes go well together.

I may be wrong since you could have planned something else but it's just my idea about the initial concept.

I love Art nouveau and I love Maomao, so, yeah :3

aspect of the new superman I havent seen spoken about yet: how lex's misogyny is directly responsible for his downfall. he didnt believe that his blonde bimbo arm candy was capable of cogent thought, and so never bothered to restrict where she was allowed to take photos. she's just a silly woman, so it doesnt matter if shes talking selfies in his ops room full of his top secret documents and military plans. and!! even when she was caught sending all of her photos TO AN EMPLOYEE OF THE DAILY PLANET lex still didnt think anything more of it than that she was cheating on him! sending selfies to another man!!

This film NAILED the Superman characters and especially Lex Luthor. This man is fueled by pure hate and spite towards a boy scout who saves squirrels.

I actually have no good answer to explain the reasoning behind this phenomenon other than "cherry-picking".

If someone has another explanation, please enlighten me.

I hate how Demeter is treated by retelling writers and such, comperd to how they treat Clytemnestra.

Like Demeter is demonised as this "toxic, abusive, narc mother" who did not wory about her dauther, just hates that she "lost control". Whaile Clytemnestra is held up by this "feminist girl's girl icon" and good mother who loved her children.

Demeter was not a toxic or controling mother in the myth. And her probelm with Persephone and Hades's reletionship was not that she was with someone, but the kidnapping part.

Meanwhaile Clytemnestra literally treated Electra as a slave, and constantly berated and belittled her. Yes Clytemnestra loved Iphigenia. But her love for her, and thurst for revenge blinded her lead her to push her other children away from her, and in the end it ended up harming them.

Like I'm the only one who noticed this?
