I wish that I were a streamer, bc what just happened to me is SO insane.
So despite having played Minecraft for years I've never actually beaten the game on a survival world. I always get distracted and end up creating a new world before I actually get to that point. Earlier today, I decided to log onto a slightly older world (like a year or so, not very old, but it's been a bit) since I'd already progressed pretty far.
I gather all my stuff and start hunting down the stronghold. It takes a bit, especially cause I'm not super practiced at this, but I find it! I also happen to find a bunch of old stuff from when I apparently died trying to find the stronghold ages ago- that was a nice surprise!
You know what wasn't a nice surprise??
The stronghold sitting snug up against the deep dark.
Honestly, at first I think it's pretty cool. It's the first time I've actually seen the deep dark in person, so I'm more intrigued than anything else.
I set my spawn, and start looking for the portal room.
I open a single door and hear a shrieker go off.
Darkness starts pulsing.
Right about then is when I start thinking 'ok this might be a Problem!!!'
I'm hoping the shrieker or catalyst or whatever it is that actually spawns the warden is outside the door, so I press my luck and go forward. I end up setting it off again, so I retreat to try and figure out my next move.
I'm wondering if I should just abandon this stronghold and find a new one, but that would be a pretty long journey. If I can just get rid of the catalyst, I should be set to explore the stronghold.
I leave the actual stronghold itself and start carefully going around looking for where the problem spot is, but I can't actually see anything important except for a diamond. I crouch the whole way, grab it, and come back to the top.
And then. A zombie villager sneaks up behind me and knocks me off into the deep dark.
I land on the catalyst, setting a shrieker off again of course.
Now, I wasn't sure how many times you could set the warden off. I thought it ran on a 3 strikes you're out system, so I am PANICKING.
I try to break the catalyst.
The catalyst is also under a water stream so I'm splashing around the whole time and. Of course. I set off a shrieker again.
The Warden spawns.
Somehow, I manage to swim back up the water stream without dying. I turn around. The Warden is about six blocks away.
It is at this point that I just fully pause the game to contemplate my fate.
Maybe I should've logged out at that point, to lose that aggro on myself. But I didn't think about that.
I was incredibly certain I was about to die, and having just gained back a ton of stuff that I'd been devastated by losing in the first place, (enough that I had kind of lost interest in this world originally), I decided that making sure I didn't lose any of my stuff was the priority.
And my spawn point was basically right there...
I dropped back into the stronghold and was almost immediately killed by the Warden. But when I respawned, I could see my stuff all right there, still safe.
New problem: the Warden had dropped down and was also right in front of my spawn point.
And thus begins my death loop.
I put all of my stuff save my sword in a chest- which didn't help the warden being mad at me- and decided to try and brute force kill this thing through multiple deaths.
But by the time I had everything situated, the warden had sort of disappeared.
It was still there. It was shooting me with sonic blasts and killing me over and over again. But I couldn't actually see it, so I couldn't kill it.
It was at this point that I decided to log out, get a snack, and come back with a clearer head afterwards.
I don't know if wardens despawn. I don't know if it's going to be there when I come back. But I'm in too deep now, I am going to find the portal room of this Stronghold if I have to kill the Warden with my bare fists to do it!!!!!

There are so many little details in my solo world that I put like a solid amount of logic into why something looks a certain way that A) just floats around in my head for no one else to see/hear, and B) are all details that like if I just let someone freely explore my builds they would not think twice about. So I just want to ramble about a couple of them for a minute lol
(under the cut, because yeah it’s definitely a ramble. I include pictures though!)
For example: The secret nether lab under ground is full of magma blocks and campfires, because there are a couple rooms meant to labs for studying different nether plants. Nether plants grow in very hot temperatures natively, therefore lab must be very hot in order to grow them. But there’s no way some campfires are going to match the same heat intensity as a literal hell dimension, and therefore the nether trees in the lab are small and stocky.
Because when real life plants grow in inadequate conditions, they tend to grow smaller/slower than they should. A tomato plant that only gets 70% of the light it needs might still make a tomato but it’ll probably be pretty small. A flowering plant might just not make any flowers, etc.
The smaller nether plants are easily placed much closer to open flames than a full tree can be. Therefore, they can grow to their normal sizes a lot easier.
Also in the Nether lab is a room with an excavated fossil. (Don’t think to hard on the logistics of how a single person would excavate an entire nether fossil, get it into the overworld, and build a room for it alone... lol). It’s one of my favorite rooms in my base tbh
I decided it should be covered in lichen and have those roots hanging off it. The logic there was like: if there is any organic matter somehow left in the bones, it was protected by the heat in the Nether preventing any kind of lifeform that could decompose it from being able to survive. But bring it into the Overworld, which is significantly cooler, would have a lot more moisture in the air, and has significantly more life, suddenly that organic matter becomes susceptible to decomposing.
The character brought it to the overworld to study it, very quickly noticed bacteria and lichen starting to grow on it, and then tried to make this room as hot as possible to slow the growth of anything else.
Okay, one more that still kind of involves the secret nether lab™, but this detail lore is a little retroactive. I added the sculk veins to these bushes a while back because I just thought it looked interesting. Now, however, I decided there’s a story reason for it lol. I haven’t built it yet, but I plan to make a closed-off part of the lab that’s like a sculk research lab gone horribly wrong. Basically the character discovered sculk while exploring, brought some back to study, but didn’t realize the speed it would spread under the right conditions.
They create those conditions, the lab starts to get overgrown, and the sculk is spreading much faster than they expected. They eventually cut their loss and try to remove any of the hospitable environment created for the sculk before closing off the lab for good. It’s in a secret, hidden lab that likely no one will ever find anyway, but they still try to put up warnings just in case someone ever does.
Some of it still gets into the ground water through the cave that part of the lab is in (which is also pretty close to being under where these bushes are).
(this pond is directly behind me in the previous screenshot) At some point part of the path outside collapses into this strange pond that seemingly one of the nether plants and the sculk have somehow seeped into and created a weird little ecosystem (there are fish in there too).
I actually didn’t plan that at all when I first decorated the pond like this, I just thought it looked cool. Originally it was a joke that since I used to throw poison potatoes in it all the time to let them despawn, it somehow created an ecosystem. But then I built the nether lab and the blue room ended up being almost directly below this, so I was like hey wait that’s much cooler lol

Hihi! I’m the one who asked for the jay x reader thing! I was thinking about a cole x reader thing where the reader takes his hoodie and it’s just big on them. And when he sees them, he has to take a double take. Just fluff, sorry if it’s a bit cliche!

You have a predicament on your hands.
It’s freezing cold! You shiver, regretting not bringing a jacket. A sigh escapes you as you stare out into the horizon from the Bounty’s deck. You were waiting for the ninja to get back from a mission. Lloyd, your brother, had brought you here earlier so that you could hang out with your friends, but they had been called away for an emergency. Now you’re quietly awaiting for their safe return, but are freezing in the process.
A few seconds later, you decide to go see if you can find a blanket or something. You dash into the Bounty, sighing in relief as the warmer air encompasses you.
Well, it’s warmer, but it could be even warmer! You set off inside, eyes scanning for anything that could help. Eventually, you find yourself in the gaming room, where you and the ninja had been when they were called. You spot something slung over the back of the couch.
It’s a hoodie!
Uh, well…not your hoodie. Or Lloyd’s. But it’s really cold outside! And you’re not sure how long you’d be waiting. So…it would be fine, right? The ninja would understand.
Mind set, you swiftly swipe the article off of its resting place before shaking it into an unfolded state. The words on the front read:
Rock on!
You giggle, realizing this must be Cole’s hoodies. It’s cute, soft, and greatly oversized, meaning that it’s perfect. You eagerly shrug it on. It’s more like a dress on you, because it falls just above your knees. Additionally, the sleeves are longer than your arms are, which means you can whack people with them. Excellent.
“Yeah!” you cheer before running back out to the deck, enjoying the newfound article of clothing.
“That’s so much better!” you exclaim once you’re out. The cold is no match for the hoodie!
You anxiously walk around the Bounty as you wait for the ninja to return. The computer said they were en route, so they should be back soon. Right? Right.
Minutes later, you hear the unmistakable sound of a roaring dragon. Your eyes widen as you gasp quietly before turning towards the source.
And there they are!
You grin as the ninja despawn their dragons one by one, all jumping off midair in a burst of magnificent light and landing effortlessly.
“Haha! I won!” Jay cheers as he pulls his mask off.
“We weren’t even racing, dumbass!” Kai retorts, shoving the blue ninja’s shoulder.
“Uh, yeah we were,” Jay says. “You guys just didn’t hear me over the wind!”
“Trust me. We would have heard you,” Cole mumbles, his back turned to you. Suddenly you grow nervous upon realizing he’s going to see you in his hoodie.
Suddenly, you feel Lloyd sneaking up behind you. You roll your eyes as you turn around.
“What are you doing?” you inquire, causing his evil smirk to fade.
“I wanted to scare you!” he groans. “You ruin all of my pranks!”
“You pranks are already ruined with how shitty they are,” you tease, punching his shoulder. He whines in response.
“Sorry I didn’t think to drop you off at the monastery while we went. We just kinda left you here,” Lloyd replies with a nervous chuckle.
You shrug. “It’s fine. No harm done, plus you guys had to get there fast. If anything, I at least got some peace and quiet for a while.”
“Mean,” Kai comments as he comes up next to Lloyd. “Hey, is that Cole’s hoodie?”
You feel your face going red as you avert your gaze. “It was the only thing I could find. And I was really cold!” you reply, suddenly regretting your decision a tiny bit.
Kai smirks after he takes a glance at Cole’s expression. “Really? Are you sure that’s the only reason?”
Your mild embarrassment turns into confusion. “What other reason would there be? I was just freezing cold.”
Kai shakes his head. “Never mind.”
You tilt your head, still a bit confused, but you shrug it off. It’s just a hoodie, after all.
“Kai, I’m gonna beat your high score tonight!” Lloyd yells, running inside. This manages to snag Kai’s attention, as the brunet takes off after your brother not long after. You sigh, shaking your head. Morons.
“Oh, uh…you probably want this back,” you mumble, cheeks red as you start to take the hoodie. “I’m sorry that I took it-“
“No, n-no, don’t apologize,” Cole replies, looking away from you.
“Huh? I took it without asking!”
“It’s really okay,” he replies, fidgeting with your fingers. “I’d rather you wear it than freeze while you waited for us to come back.”
A soft smile lines your lips as you study him. He’s still looking away bashfully. “Thank you.”
He nods. “Yeah. No problem. It, uh…it…” he mumbles something that you can’t quite catch.
“Sorry, I didn’t hear you?”
His expression tells you that he regrets letting that last sentence slip. “It…um…looks cute on you,” he confesses softly.
You feel red dusting your cheeks as you struggle to find words. He thinks…his hoodie looks cute on you?
He rubs the back of his neck while you stand there with wide eyes. “Really?”
“Yeah…” he mumbles.
You giggle. “Thanks! I really like it.”
“It’s one of my favorite hoodies,” he notes, smiling.
You smirk, an idea forming as you approach the black ninja before arming your sleeves and whacking him once with the fabric.
“Ow! What was that for?”
“Let’s go inside before you freeze!” you chirp, skipping inside happily.
“Weirdo,” you hear Cole mumble as he chuckles and follows you inside.

Character Impact on Genshin Impact
Raiden can't cook in game with lore to back that up. I think this is a great way for lore to impact gameplay and make characters feel more 'real' to have.
Besides the traveler, each character is a whole character (yeh, duh) but a lot of times we are just thinking about kits and how strong they are in a combat way. Characters with traits that impact the gameplay loop outside of dps check combat (abyss and domains wouldn't get affected) are great, and we should have more of them.
Now, passive talents are a thing, and yes all impact non-combat gameplay, but there is so much room for more.
Examples:
Diluc and Kaeye can be on a team together but not standing next to each other. (They could have bonus voice lines when on the same team about having to work together again.)
Boars that run into Eula can't despawn, so she can enact vengeance.
If a party member dies, Eula places a marker and if that enemy is killed fast enough, the party member will revive with 150 hp.
When Jean is in a party with at least two other Mondstadt characters she gets a buff 'In Command' and it does something like lowers burst and skill cooldown by 2 seconds (something small but noticeable.)
Characters that canonically friends/work together (Yea and Raiden or Jean and Kaeya) gain more friendship when on a party together.
Characters that canonically enemies (Kokomi and Sara, Heizou and Itto) gain less friendship when on a team with each other.
If you combine the last two points into a team of four, two groups of friends that happen to be enemies (Kokomi + Gouro and Raiden + Sara) the friendship gain is normal.
A team with only Mondstadt characters get a buff 'Homeland' ageist regional Mondstadt enemies (things that only appear in that region) Each region has access to this buff.
'Homeland' team buff affects the item drop rates if regional enemies (Inazuma Homeland team would get more drops when killing Inazuma only enemies) Doesn't work on world bosses.
This turned into ways the combat can feel more fleshed out :/
This game is about these 'fleshed out' characters that we are collecting on our journey or whatever but non of them really change anything. Having 40+ people working together in mix and match groups would have more interesting outcomes then elemental reactions and rotation times.

Dream SMP Recap (March 2/2021) - The Day After
The server grieves, building tributes to Tommy. Ranboo ponders to himself and confronts Sam about what happened as Sam continues to search for answers.

VOD LINKS:
Foolish
Captain Puffy
Ranboo
Eret
Skeppy
Badboyhalo
---
- Foolish builds a tribute to Tommy in front of Tommy’s house.
- Captain Puffy builds a shrine to Tommy.
- Ranboo reads through the Memory Book. On the eighth page is written, “He’s dead.”
- Throughout the stream, “It’s Raining Somewhere Else” plays in the background.
- Ranboo doesn’t understand how it could have happened. How could Sam have let it happen?
- He eventually decides there’s no sense in trying to rationalize why it happened...it already did.
- The only person who could stand up to the person in that prison is now gone, and there’s nothing he can do about it. But he can’t cry about it.
“Why do I want to? It’s not like he was kind to me...in fact, he was the opposite most of the time...But it was the fact that...he was kind once. That’s really all it takes. That’s really all it takes for me is...one person being kind to me, and then I’m indebted to them. Because I’m indebted to Tommy...although he didn’t really keep up friendship, he was still technically the first person I considered a friend on this server.”
...
“But now...I can never repay him anymore, so...there’s only so much that I can do.”
- Ranboo wanders away into the wilderness, passing by Jack’s restaurant. He goes into the forest to collect flowers.
“Why now are the same people who argued against him suddenly being sad? Because they see it...they see it as a relief. People only really see Tommy’s death as...relief. For them, it’s relief from...well...Tommy. They didn’t want to deal with him anymore, so now that he’s gone, their mourning isn’t sadness. It’s celebration, because no longer is the one person who, if I’m entirely honest, made this server interesting...now people can do whatever they want with little to no repercussions.”
“The reason so many people hated Tommy is because Tommy made them think.”
“For the first time, the people who were so deeply rooted in their beliefs...they had conflict."
- He was stuck in the prison for an entire week, and no one thought to help.
- Now that he’s gone, people are becoming virtuous. Afterwards, he’s now viewed as a reason why people want to help, to not let it happen again.
- Eret jumps down to the spider spawner and heads to the Egg Room to check his kingdom taxes chest. He peeks into the Egg Room but heads out before too long.
- Ranboo continues his monologue. All these people who claimed they were going to “protect the children of the server!” They just assumed that Tommy was safe when he was locked in with a murderer.
“I should’ve done something but I didn’t because I was scared...I was scared to help, and that was my fault, and I know that...I’m being...I’m going back on what I’ve said previously, I’m doing all this because I don’t know how to handle this! I don’t know how to handle this.”
- He forces himself not to cry. He says things that are wrong sometimes, he says things about what he believes that don’t work.
- Puffy completes her cobblestone shrine for Tommy.
- Ranboo continues.
“Monologues about my beliefs aren’t gonna change anything, right?”
“And who knows who else could be next? ‘Cause it’s not like no one else is going to die...”
“But what are we gonna do? We’re just gonna react!”
“God, I’m such a hypocrite...I don’t know what to do!”
“Why didn’t I do anything? Why didn’t I do anything to help Tommy in the prison? I -- I should’ve, I could’ve...But then why didn’t I? I was aware of it, I could’ve done something, but...what stopped me from going in? And saying something? I mean I know I’m banned, but I still see Sam outside. What stopped me from going inside, or at least telling Sam that...what stopped me?”
- He starts swimming across the lake to walk back.
“I know I’m hypocritical, I know I’m a...non-redeemable character, but...I just don’t know what to do...just doesn’t make any sense.”
- Ranboo walks up the Prime Path to Tommy’s House and begins to plant the flowers there.
“That’s how most people deal with it, right? We’ll just make a quick little shrine and move on...make their shrines, make their statements about how they’re gonna make it better, and then...they aren’t gonna change a single thing. They’re gonna say their piece and continue on. And me, of course, being the hypocrite that I am...I’m gonna do the same thing.”
“...At least I can remember this.”
- He holds an allium.
“Remember this? I gave him one of these and he immediately insulted me...that was one of the first times we ever interacted. I gave him one of these, he insulted me, and then I helped with one of the things that led to his demise...so here, Tommy. A flower...there’s no one there to pick it up anymore.”
- He watches the dropped flower on the ground.
“If you don’t make the most of what you have before it leaves, then you’ll have regret. You’ll think to yourself, ‘why didn’t I do something more?’ Why didn’t I do something more to help?"
- The flower despawns.
“Goodbye, Tommy. You were interesting, but...you were still a friend.”
- Ranboo decides that he wants to figure out how it happened. Because even if he doesn’t need closure, other people might. He decides to speak with Sam.
- He meets Sam (Awesam) at the Big Innit Hotel, asking how he’s holding up.
- Ranboo says he’s confused about a couple things and wants to ask about what happened.
Ranboo: “I’m not talking about Tommy’s final days, I’m talking about the period of time before that. Before...prison. Before even the Disc War, do you know what happened to Tommy?”
Sam: “Yes. Dream...was in the prison, and I would...he...started admitting, telling me about what happened, and...yeah, I know.”
Ranboo: “So you know what Tommy had to go through.”
Sam: “Yeah, I know.”
- Sam insists that there was nothing he could do.
Ranboo: “You never thought ONCE that maybe, maybe, having a visitation with one of the most dangerous people on this server wouldn’t lead to ANYTHING bad for the visitor? So you installed NOTHING about it? You did nothing about it?”
Sam: “I didn’t think that something wouldn’t happen to Tommy specifically.”
Sam: “There’s some people that I never let go and don’t forget. I didn’t let Tubbo go visit him, there’s a reason for that...but I didn’t think that he would kill him.”
Ranboo: “What would make you think that he wouldn’t!?”
Sam: “He admitted himself that he needed Tommy. It’s the only thing that he would talk about when he was in there alone, was Tommy, Tommy, Tommy. And Tommy came and wanted closure...and I thought it would be good for him to move on.”
...
Ranboo: “So you never let him out after a WEEK?”
Sam: “Ranboo, I couldn’t let him out!”
- Sam explains that trying to make more entrances also means more exits, and that he was following protocol. Ranboo protests that Dream had Sam make the protocol in the first place.
Sam: “If I thought there was something I could’ve done, I would’ve done it. By the time I realized Dream was -- attacking him, I headed back there to try and stop him immediately, and when I got to the main cell he had already done it. And then...I was standing on the other side of the lava just screaming at him, and he just laughed. I know I should’ve tried to do something, but you have to understand I couldn’t let him leave. What if Dream left with him, where would I be?"
- Ranboo then asks about the explosions. Sam explains that there’s no sign anywhere of who did it.
Sam: “I need to find who it was. ‘Cause...whoever did that...trapped Tommy in there, and made me leave him in there with him. And they saw what it did, and they knew he was trapped in there, and they still didn’t come...they didn’t tell me that it was them, so they...they wanted him to die.”
...
Ranboo: “I can help you with that. I think, if I see anything, ‘cause...obviously if the person that did it probably had...no...connection with anything. I mean, they must’ve just...someone who was against Tommy.”
Sam: “Someone who was for Dream.”
Ranboo: “No one’s for Dream.”
Sam: “I would hope not.”
- Meanwhile, Eret meets with Captain Puffy at their castle. Puffy asks if he knows...Eret doesn’t. They go on a walk down the Prime Path and Puffy shows them the shrine as she tells them.
- Ranboo then confesses about George’s house.
Ranboo: “It’s kind of my fault!”
Sam: “No, it’s none of your fault.”
Ranboo: “No, you remember -- George’s house, the thing that started all of this, that led everything to this moment? I...helped with that. And...Tommy covered. Tommy covered for me, and he could’ve not, and then everything probably would’ve been fine.”
Sam: “You don’t know.”
Ranboo: “But I do. The only reason why Dream built the prison was because of Tommy’s exile, because he realized how nice someone being away was, on the server. The only reason why Tommy’s exile happened was because of the house, and because of the fact that he covered for me. It’s a butterfly effect, Sam.”
- Sam asks for Ranboo’s Memory Book. He writes a page saying it’s not Ranboo’s fault, Sam is responsible.
- He says that, if Ranboo finds something, to come and talk with him. Sam then says goodbye and leaves.
- Ranboo thinks, maybe there was some evidence that Sam didn’t see around here. He walks closer to the prison.
“But there is at least one thing I can do, and that’s...at least take care of our friends. Like Tubbo, my friend.”
- Eret is devasted by the news. Everything was supposed to be fine! Like the old days before L’manburg! He was only gone for a little while. Puffy isn’t sure what she’s fighting for anymore. They walk down to see the prison as well.
- Ranboo decides to work on the hotel, at least. He sees Sam Nook standing by Tommy’s hotel. Sam Nook asks how Ranboo’s hotel is coming along, and says that Tommy is excited about the competition. Ranboo says he’ll see Sam around.
- Puffy fills Eret in on how corrupted the Eggpire has become. Eret reminisces about the L’manburg War, and the duel Tommy lost to Dream.
- Ranboo sits on the bench for a quiet moment.
- He then remembers something. He descends into the Power Tower war room.
“This is where he told me our plan...of going to burn down George’s house.”
- He mines down and finds the chest, still filled.
- Puffy tells Eret that she tried to break the Egg, but it hurt her back. They make their way to L’manhole. Eret has a theory that, in trying to revive Wilbur, they may have caused some sort of rift that caused the corruption to accelerate -- but it’s just their theory.
- Puffy remembers how Bad and Skeppy had a heated moment where Skeppy asked Bad to choose, the Egg or him.
- Ranboo goes to leave but then...wait...was that...?
- He checks the chest again and finds the allium.
- Ranboo continues walking down the Prime Path. There is one constant, and that’s death. And no matter how you try to run from it...it’ll always come eventually.
“Hardships are hard, death is tough...but...loss is a part of life, chat. You gotta make sure that you’re open to the lesson, ‘cause you never know when it’s gonna be able to help. You never know.”
- Puffy shows Eret the McPuffy’s.
- Ranboo goes into the Nether to pull a 180 out of the lore and immediately falls in lava. Welp.
- Puffy and Eret explore the Oogway Shrine and then Puffy decides to show Eret Ponk’s Maze.
- They walk around, Eret turns on shaders and Puffy shows them her secret chamber in the mansion.
- Foolish speaks with them.
- Bad does a hangout stream with Skeppy.
- Puffy starts building a statue at Tommy’s house and the others help.
- They decide to have a beach party funeral at Logsted, a celebration of life.
- They place a coffin at the site of the beach party. They say some parting words.
- They then walk around Logsted and explore.
- Bad speaks with George, Dream, Quackity and Foolish too
- Obama lore
---
Upcoming Events:
- Tales From the SMP: “Haunted Mansion”
- Quackity’s business opening and lore stream
- Puffy’s origin story stream

rewatching the stream where fundy n phil meet michael and i remembered how pissed it makes me lmaoo upset ramblings under da cut bc it got long kjfskjsj
the beginning where phil n ranboo drown him is ehh but i let it slide bc it pales in comparison to the tower fjssklskl they rlly made fundy jump from a tall ass tower over and over just to get back his stuff (which!! he didnt even rlly want most of it back tbh!!!!! just the shclatt sword :[ ) and killed him repeatedly. i get that they dont like him (well tbh its mostly phil although tubbo n ranboo certainly dont object) but hes very non confrontational and docile during this visit even as hes getting drowned and just jkjldlskldkssld despite all that he still wants to go along with them to see michael and thats a whole other disaster.
i think fundy is one of the few ppl whos given legitimate criticism of the beeduos treatment of michael and is in a place to give that criticism?? like the direct parallels between fundy n michael are Right There and it sucks. it sucks so much. his whole point is just straight up ignored too in favor of the argument ‘michael is a mob’ bc that point is just bad. michael cannot be treated as both a mob and a child bc those hold very different statuses in the dream smp. if beeduo wanted to canonize him being straight up sentient or a hybrid then thatd be different but like. they have to choose one or the other, they cant just switch to whatever benefits them the most in that moment. michael, a mob, dying would be awful because beeduo is attached to him as a particularly special pet. michael, a CHILD, dying would be downright horrific because it would be beeduo losing their very young son. if hes killed then its the same argument. a pet killer and a child killer are drastically different things.
if michaels a mob then of course fundys idea of he might want a lil freedom is a bit silly. if michaels a child tho then fundy is completely right in that its wrong of them to keep him locked up. ive seen ppl miss fundys point entirely too and point out that clearly the beeduo love michael bc theyre giving him a huge ass manison. the problem isnt that his bedroom is small (well it is but less severe) but that hes not allowed outside or to see anyone other than beeduo and rare visitors. beeduo can give him the biggest mansion they can buy but it doesnt change anything. wilbur gave fundy an entire COUNTRY and it still wasnt enough to salvage their relationship.
speaking of wilbur, ranboos snarky comment abt how fundys relationship with his dad wasnt the best either was fucked up and it made me feel gross. fundys relationship with wilbur is literally what makes him such a good (if not slightly biased) judge of the situation?? hes BEEN in michaels role before and he has a unique perspective on it. his suggestions werent even that bad, they were literally like ‘maybe take him outside occasionally’ or ‘let people come hang out w him’. tommy straight up said he wanted to kill michael multiple times and the beeduo was less hostile to him. also when fundy was killed in michaels room and he was like ‘hey please dont let michael accidentally grab my stuff’. and everyone was like ‘lmaoo what a fuckin loser sure hope this mob doesnt grab your lore related weapon and netherite gear’. then fundy got mad and said hed kill michael if he grabbed any of his stuff, which is completely reasonable??? fundy was killed, he didnt die by accident, and hed been nothing but kind to michael directly even after being told hes technically a mob. hes allowed to decide that the life of one pet is worth getting his very important heavily grinded items back. beeduo are like ‘we’ll make ur life living hell if u kill michael’ like they werent the ones who killed him and threatened to let his stuff despawn. phil shows a bit of mercy but its immediately taken back. bc phil, fuckin phil that bitch, taunts him by hiding some of his stuff in his inventory to bait him into killing michael.
im probs gonna stop it here but im so fuckin genuinely pissed bc the entire stream is like that and from a lore pov its just the fucking worst. theres nothing to justify them treating fundy like that in any way when fundy has done so little to any of them jsfssdklsdks grrrrrrr
#babbling#dream smp#ask to tag#ig??#im not tagging any names#mostly cuz i dont wanna clog tags#if you think i should tag as crit or neg tho#then lemme know??#this from an entirely character/lore view tho#from a cc view its funny lmao#also it is like. dubiously fundy lore#hes referenced it im p sure#its one of those scenarios where#one person says its lore#and another says its not#im watching it bc i wanted to#fact check some stuff from the micheal visit#and its :(((#pls be nice to the fox#also i say im pissed here but#only when im being super empathetic#this stream just brings out the worst in me#not to be like every other fundy fan#but the bullying bit does get old quickly#its funny the first like. 10 min#thats it

{Sleep} - SleepyBoisInc Fanfic
(Family dynamic, no relationships)
As peaceful nights went by over the years Techno would say but never admit he has had sleeping issues from time to time. Some times it was the surroundings, the voices getting to loud in his head. Or just the anxiety and stress hitting him all at once like a magazine of bullets to a heavy duty bullet proof chest plate. Philza could remember sleepless nights from him, the mornings he would come out of his room looking like a zombie. The whimpering and the yelps of fear coming from behind his door as he would walk by. The pig hybrid wasn’t one to be babied unless he really had to be, turning away almost all efforts to calm him down every time. To the point where Phil didn’t even know what was really going on with him unless he pried at him enough to be honest. Many nights over the years went by with this constant cycle. At this rate it was normal by now for the pink haired warrior and his so called father or best friend. He has faced facts that sleepless nights were only a common thing for him as soon as they started to happen more and more. The rate soon increased due to him leaving Philza and coming to the new world of Dream SMP. Being alone once more like he never wanted to be truthfully. Not even the presence of his so called little brother could calm him down once he started to stay with him. It only made things worse with all of the stress already upon him Yet once his best friend comes back he realizes how bad things seem to be with him that he hasn’t noticed before.
-------------------------------------------------------------
Techno sighed as he sat on the chair next to Tommy sleeping peacefully in his bed he had offered an hour before. Shutting the book in his lap he had been reading nights before from Ranboo. The hybrids eyes were peaceful and tired looking as he watched the young boys chest rise and fall slowly as he laid there. The short breaths as he turned and laid on his side suddenly occurred. A small pained whimper escaped from his mouth as he landed on his hurt wrist. The bandages stood out in the some what lit room, all the damage of the outside world from exile. All the damage from someone Techno thought he could call an ally this whole time. He chose not to think of what he has done, knowing it would send him in to blood thirst and rage. But seeing those bandages reminded both of them they weren’t welcomed anywhere at the moment for some time. A small sigh escaped Techno’s mouth as he stood up from his chair. The floor creaking with almost every light foot step he took. Phil took the spare bed up in the attic he had, being a runaway he thought it would help conceal him in necessary. Techno’s scarred hand ran over his tired eyes, he soon stopped at the stairs. Glancing back quickly at the blonde ruined boy in his bed. He wondered what went on in his head for a second. Knowing his screams would be heard in the next hour or two of nightmares he has frequently. Knowing he would have to be there for him soon for the comfort the young boy yearned in the aftermath.
The pink haired warrior quietly made his way down the stairs to the bottom of his quiet dim lit home. His scarred fingers ran through his some what knotted hair he had been meaning to brush. He mostly ignored it, getting old memories from when he was young and Wilbur used to play his matted mess every now and again. A quiet yawn escaped from the warriors mouth as he stepped by the window. The crackle and pop of the fire place was heard as he stood there alone with the light shining at his back.
Dream......
Blood.....Blood.....Blood must be spilled
Blood for the blood god
Dream must pay!
L’manburg must pay!
BLOODSHED!
DREAM’S BLOOD!
Dream......bloodshed
Blood.....NOW
Techno groaned in annoyance as he stood there up against the side of the wall. His eyes darted around at the mobs that roamed outside freely with out a care. The voices had returned to haunt him once more as always, he agreed with them mostly but now wasn’t really the time or the place. In order to defeat the god like man himself he needed advanced weapons and a plan at which he didn’t have. Techno glanced down at his scarred forearm, forgetting to roll down his sleeves of his shirt to cover the past. His eye slowly blinked as he stood there, reaching forward to grab his extra sword that hung on the holster near the door. Boredom was setting in and the voices would only get louder if no violence was played out. This cycle was played time and time again. The more Techno thought he knew he to control the voices the less he actually did. The hybrid smirked as he walked out the front door of his place. His sword out and ready as he ran closer over toward the mobs that surrounded the area.
He was quick, fierce and made to be feared, the phrase Technoblade Never Dies was an honor and a curse at the same time for him. His body was quick among the reaction of his enemies coming round. The clawing from he zombies was almost like a poke of a stick to him. The attacks of the spiders were nothing to be feared. Arrows were shot and merely dodged out of the way as soon as they were near his body. The blood god stabbed and sliced his way through the mobs around him. Leaving him with blood on the end of his sword and in need of a change of a different shirt soon afterward. He soon shook his head, breaking him self of blood lust the loomed within himself. Over the years he has gotten better at controlling himself, but that fear of hurting the ones dearest to him was still there. The blood god took a step back and took in his surroundings, the blood, bones and body parts lay around the ground. Either to be picked up or to despawn soon was sunrise comes. A smirk appeared on his face as he stared, confident in his work he has just done. Not even realizing the pair of icy blue eyes staring down at him from his house behind him. The warrior sighed as his legs carried him back to the house willingly. The rush of adrenaline was over and now he felt as if he could crash of exhaustion from the past couple of nights with barely a wink of rest.
The warrior opened his door and shut it behind him as quiet as he could. His palm wiped off the smeared blood on his cheek as he placed his sword back where it belonged. Knowing he would have to clean that and his shirt in the morning. The hybrid winced as he took of his button up, laying it on to the chair by the door as a reminder. He was quick as he dug in to some chests in order to find a new one that he owned. One of his fears was his friends or family as you would say to see him like this. See all of his battle scars from over the years. Some he told stories about when they asked, others he wished to forget that stayed and were permanent on his pale skin. Ashamed of what he happened and what he had done. Techno smiled softly as he found of of his spare shirts in the chest.
“techno....” The blood god jumped upon hearing his voice, banging his head on the top of the chest lid. The hybrid cursed under his breath as he stood up from the chest, his blue and gray eyes glanced back. Finding Phil half the way down the stairs with a tired and concerned look on his face. He was trying to pull off the stern look but ever since they were young he knew he never could pull it off with his sons unless it was truly something bad. The hybrid froze suddenly, a wave of awareness and anxiety washed over him. He knew it was dark but he also knew Phil had better eye sight then the average person from his own hybrid ways. The warrior bit his lip, knowing he would draw blood because of his canines if he didn’t stop now. He didn’t know why but he was intimidated and quite frankly scared of what he might say.
Technoblade was a Blood God and here he was confused and scared over his so called father. It was a weakness, he knew Phil was his weakness. He could even say Tommy was starting to be as well. He hated the idea, he knew the others were starting to catch on like they did at his execution that went horribly wrong. But he knew if something happened to him that they would be starting a war that they couldn’t end. It was one thing that he had that Dream didn’t and that would hurt him in the final run. But it also meant that he was more human then monster at most.
“Techno what are you doing up so late.....it’s going on 4 in the morning mate” Phil asked calmly, not wanting to talk about Techno’s scars he saw as he came down. To be fair he wasn’t even surprised by them anyway, but he could tell by Techno’s tense figure that he didn’t want to speak about them. The pig hybrid sighed as he slipped his fresh shirt on as the blonde walked closer toward him.
“Couldn’t sleep....” The blood god wasn’t sure if he should go in to detail or if he should stay quiet. He has gotten on fine on his own ever since he left the Arctic empire. He could handle himself just fine, he didn’t want pity. Maybe that’s why Tommy didn’t want pity either, he was such a bad influence on him now that he thinks about it more. The Blood God flinched to the soft touch of the hand on his shoulder. Taking a step back to gather what was going on since he stared off in to space. He glanced away embarrassed as Phil took a step closer, returning his palm to his shoulder. His other hand reached up and wiped away the blood that was still on his cheek. Almost like how it was when he he was little and would have mud on himself from rainy days. Phil deeply missed those times when they were young, but he knew he could never have that back. He needed to be here for them right here and right now. Phil gazed at Techno’s eyes, the blood lust was gone for now which was good. But the light within them were dulled and tired, the bluish color had faded in to the gray look more then he had expected. This was the first time Phil had gotten a good look at what Techno had looked like. Sure he has been back for around a month now, but he wanted to give him the distance he needed before he fully came back to not overwhelm him. He never realized how much he has changed ever since he had left. The scars, the personality, it seemed like Techno had major trust issues over all then what he had years before. A small sigh escaped Phil’s lips as he watched Techno’s expression change from staring off to fidgeting in awkwardness. His ADHD was still the same though after all this time.
“Are you sure......was it the voices again?” Phil asked which seemed to catch Techno’s attention greatly as they stood there. Now Phil knew that was a factor in his insomnia now. Techno had forgotten how Phil could read people like a book with ease. Regretting even making a face toward his words, as they stood there. It was a lot of factors that played in to his insomnia, but he didn’t want to get n to it. He was fine and that was the end of that conversation. But as they both stood quietly, Techno’s ears picked up the small whimpering sounds upstairs. His eyes widened as he quickly made his way up without even telling Phil what was wrong. Forgetting to since he just broke him out of house arrest yesterday. He was quick as he made his way toward Tommy, sobbing there under the covers. He was tossing and turning frantically as Techno came closer toward him. It was another panic attack in his sleep that came along with the nightmares he has been having. As soon as Techno took a place on the bed Tommy shot up from his sleep. Gasping for air as sweat dripped from his brow, his eyes were frantic as he looked around the room. Meeting Techno’s gaze quickly beside him, his arms were soon wrapped around him as tight as he possibly could. Techno sighed as he glanced over toward Phil coming closer toward them. Sweet nothings were whispered the the young blonde in the warriors arms to calm him down. His small shaking body is what scared techno the most, how fragile he had become. He was getting better over all, but Dream seemed to ruin a lot more then what meets the eye to anyone. Techno could see right through him and so could Phil. Tommy was broken on the inside and the outside and would have to take a while before he is healed.
“Calm down Tommy......you’re safe.....you’re okay...I-I’m right here...” Techno said calmly, his voice changed from deep to a little lighter. Using the same techniques Phil did to him when he would have a panic attack all those years ago. Phil sighed as he sat down next to Techno on the bed. Rubbing Tommy’s back softly as he cried in to Techno’s chest. Technoblade was uncomfortable, after Tommy had been staying with him for around 2 weeks maybe three he still hasn’t wrapped his head around how to specifically help him.
“H-He was there T-Tech.....h-he had a sword a-and....h-he hurt m-”
“Don’t think about that right now Tommy just focus on us alright....everything is alright, no need to cry..... You are just fine and you’re here with us mate....He isn’t here and we won’t let him either I can promise you that” Phil softly replied, watching as Tommy’s breaths slowed as he sniffed and coughed. Phil knew Techno wasn’t used to comforting and these kinds of things. But he was proud to see how well he was reacting and caring for Tommy over all. Techno sighed softly as he fixed his posture, noticing Tommy falling slowly back asleep but in his arms. He tired himself out that quickly from crying for so long.
“How long has this been happening?”
“Not sure, he was living underneath the house for who knows how long to get away from “Him”.....ever since I started letting him stay he has had these panic attacks and nightmares....sometimes he’ll get them when we go out and he’ll see his old place or when he hears “His” name......been trying my best to help him but it’s been hard”
“That’s why you haven’t been sleeping much too isn’t it.” Phil asked as he watched Tommy shift in Techno’s arms. Hearing the strong hybrid sigh as he moved some of his hair out of his face. Phil hated seeing them like this, broken, scared, anxious, cold, blocked off. Some aspects one had over the other. But it was all the same, in the amount of time he wasn’t there so much has changed. He couldn’t believe half of it, or he didn’t want to believe half of it even if it was true. As Philza was in thought he felt a hand on his knee, gazing up to find a small smile on Techno’s face he missed seeing.
“Thank you.....for calming him down, usually these fits last longer then that and he refuses to go back to bed.” Techno softly said as with a small chuckle. His own body was about to shut down from lack of sleep too. The pig hybrid slowly laid Tommy back down on to his bed and laid the covers over him. Technoblade stretched to hear the familiar pop of his shoulder blades and back. Phil’s hand made contact with his shoulder once more to grab his attention. No flinch was followed like the first one which was good. Techno’s eyes slowly reached the blondes caring gaze. Watching his icy eyes look over him with his warm smile.
“Get some rest mate, I’m sure Tommy would mind sharing the bed you gave him generously”
“But Phil I-”
“No buts Techno.....you need your rest and by the looks of it you haven’t been getting much sleep as is. Getting sleep makes you more aware and let’s you energize yourself. You can’t keep staying up whether you like it or not” Phil replied as he moved he blanket covering Tommy. Techno rolled his eyes softly as he gazed at Phil. He was stubborn he had to give him that, maybe that’s where he got that trait from. But he knew there was no fighting Philza on this, he needed the sleep he just forced his body to stay up. A annoyed sigh left he lips as he started to lay down on the opposite side of the bed. Feeling the blanket be brought up slowly to cover his unusually warm body. Phil smiled down at him softly as he watched sleep starting to take over Techno’s tense body.
“I’ll see ya in the morning mate....I’ll make breakfast so you can sleep in a bit alright”
“Phil you don’t have to....”
“No I want to....take it as a repayment for breaking me out of house arrest”
“You don’t owe me anything Phil.....”
“No I do.....trust me on that one mate....I defiantly do.....get some sleep alright. I don’t want to find you awake before me”
“fine” Philza smiled upon hearing those words, knowing Techno had given up on staying up for the night. There were multiple things going on with him from what Phil could tell that kept him up late. He hoped he could fix some of those things like he used to be able to. But for now this was a good start for them both, he just hoped things could stay this way for a while before something worse could happen.

The Red Banquet Recap
This is a mess.
Puffy POV:
Puffy shows up outside of the area where the spider spawner/egg are, telling the chat that the amour has been put in place but she hopes they wont have to use it.
She wanders around for a while, looking at everyones outfits (most people changed their skins, some did not).
Eventually she goes down to the spider spawner and follows Sam, HBomb and Ant through a newly constructed pathway (made of red nether brick)
She joins the VC and Ant welcomes them (first her and Sam, then Hannah and Eret). Sam is directed to put all his items into the “coatroom” where Ponk was. (Sam was wearing dyed enchanted leather armor because he didn’t change his skin)
Sam throws Ponk his items and Ponk just throws them on the floor behind him, instead of putting them in one of the many chests around him (presumably so that they despawn and Sam is not able to regain them, it was just the leather armour though, so it is fine)
Sam and Puffy and lead (by HBomb I think? unclear if he was leading them or just happened to be infront of them) on a pathway through the room where the egg is to the large tables. At this point in the room you can see Sam, Hannah, Eret, Hbomb & Bad far in the background.
Foolish then shows up. (you can now see Niki running around in the background)
Foolish gives Eret a “rolex”.
Niki joins the VC
Fundy joins the VC and enters the room doing an outfit reveal (lmao) (he’s wearing a suit under pink and white leather armour but ends up putting the armour back on for...some reason? idk)
Foolish throws out some honey bottles to people that are named “ambrosia”
They move over to the dance floor and start dancing to “chirp”.
Bad and Puffy start talking, complementing each others outfits talking about how great the ambiance is, ect, ect.
They all chat for a while, just kinda chilling. Until Bad announces that it is time for dinner.
They all go over to the table (where Puffy is shown her shrimp cocktail) and sit down around the table which has beetroot soup on it in every spot.
Bad thanks everyone for coming and invites the guests to give a toast.
Foolish goes first. Saying that he is glad that this will all be over soon.
Eret goes next. Saying that he is happy that it seems that the smp will be able to unite again.
Pink goes next. Quoting Dreams song “people change like the tides in the ocean”.
Next Puffy. She addresses Bad an Ant directly saying that they are her best friends but the eg has pushed them apart. She is glad they can put this behind them and be friends again.
Foolish and Bad convince Geogre to speak (“I would love to hear some George lore”-Bad”). “I was asleep 20 minutes ago”-George. *everyone cheers*
George asks what the soup is and the eggheads continue to be really weird about it. “it’s beet soup, totally 100% organic free range beets”.
Finally Bad goes. “I really appreciate you all coming. I think this is a perfect opportunity for us to come together and to let bygones be bygones. To set aside any past issues so we can grow and advance. There have been bumps along the way. In the spirit of moving things forward I would like to say that I was very happy that we were able to gather everyone here together for what I am sure is going to be a banquet that none of us are ever going to forget…..prepare to die.”
Everyone gasps as lava begins to fall from the ceiling, covering the walls and trapping everyone inside the room.
Puffy goes to dramatically open the chest in the table with the armour in it, only to find it empty. Bad, Ant, Pink and Hannah put on the armour, pulling out swords and shields.
“I’m sorry Puffy, I had to do it”-Hannah
“Do what hannah”- Puffy
“I had to tell them”-Hannah
“Why?”- Puffy
“The egg”- Hannah
“That is tragic that you told them about our plans for the armour, but something you should know….I had another plan”- Sam
Sam reveals that he and Puffy laid a TNT trap to blow up the egg. He sets the TNT off and…...the parts that are blown up turn into crying obsidian before turning back.
“After Quackity tried that we took precautions.”- Bad
Bad calls them over closer to the egg for the “executions”
“The egg needs something, and it’s gonna get it from each of you.”- Bad
“In order for the egg to hatch it needs energy and it gets that energy from people dying near it”- Bad
“We all trusted you.”- Eret
“You’re one to talk about trust”- Ponk (I think?)
At this, Bad calls for Eret to be the person sacrificed first. Hannah leads him over to the egg, to a platform in front of it.
“We don’t have weapons! We don’t have anything.”- Fundy
“WE TRUSTED YOU”- Pretty much everyone
“Stop. Stop. Stop. I have had enough.”-Foolish
“Can it withstand a barrage of lightning?”- Foolish
Foolish attempts to summon lightning, but is unable to.
“I don’t understand, it’s supressing me”- Foolish
They then decide to bring Foolish up as the first sacrifice, sending Eret back down.
Puffy threatens that she is done after this.
“I trusted you two, you think you can kill my son up here”- Puffy
“Puffy, you could have stopped this if you stayed with the eggpire, but this is your fault”- Ant
Ant then kills Foolish.
Quackity runs into the room, calling for Bad to stop and to calm down.
“Look at what you’ve done here Bad. You have to stop right now.”- Quackity
Quackity walks around the room, discreetly dropping some golden apple to the others and dropping Puffy a netherite axe. Puffy reveals that she has two strength pots in her inventory as Sam drops her a “rolex”
The eggheads surround Quackity.
“If you wanted to stop us you should’ve brought more than just yourself, you should have brought and army”- Bad
“Well guess what Bad. I did. I did.”- Quackity
TECHNOBLADE JOINED THE GAME
Techno bursts in, full netherite the dog army.
“I brought the two best fighters”- Quackity
PURPLED JOINED THE GAME
“Quackity just had the better price”- Purpled
“I didn’t want to work with this guy either but this egg goes against everything I stand for as an anarchist”- Techno
“We still outnumber you”- Bad
Puffy splashes herself with the potion. “Antfrost you’re dead!” Puffy kills Ant and they fight against the eggheads.
The eggheads retreat. Quackity sends Purpled to track them. He comes back a few moments later, saying they went through a labyrinth and he can’t find them anywhere.
“Leave the egg to me. I’ll build a prison for it if I have to.”- Sam
Techno, Purpled and Quackity lead the other out the way that they came in.
Quackity calls Techno and Sam over separately to talk about what they’re gonna do with the egg.
Purpled digs a way out for the rest of the gang.
“What did I do…..my son died….and I killed my best friend. I need to find Foolish. I don’t even know who I am anymore. The life I swore to protect is gone and I took one myself. I can’t do this anymore”- Puffy
Note: Ranboo was seen in the background lurking around the room in a new skin that has bandages over the eyes

I'm making this list again for @nintendo of features and functions we would like added to Animal Crossing: New Horizons, based on what I have seen the community say, complain about and discuss. This list is subject to update!
Send me your suggestions and I will add them to this list for @nintendo to see.
• Larger item stacks! 99 instead of 30/10/etc
• wide angle camera so we can take better pictures of our islands
• some kind of indicator on clothing items you already have when purchasing from able sisters changing room
• Bulk item crafting. Let us craft more than 1 item at a time if we can!
• allow us to store our crafting materials at home but be able to utilize them away from home. That way we dont have to have 10 slots or more of our inventory constantly filled with just crafting materials.
• bulk buying at the able sisters changing room. It's very time consuming and annoying having to go back in repeatedly to buy multiple shirts, dresses, hats etc.
• MORE DESIGN SLOTS! this has been an issue and concern for us since the beginning. We really need more. I think being able to purchase more either with bells or nook miles is the way to go. I think we should have tiers. And they go up in price as we buy the extra slots.
• Remove all patterns displayed on ground function - remove ALL & remove all of selected one.
• Continue adding new hairstyles and color options. That's really cool and excites the community! I know we want more hair color options.
• Dead Trees. Perfect fruit. Miss those would love to see them brought back.
• a craftable item that catches balloons for us? Like a balloon net or "magnet" (that's not how magnets work I know). It only functions when we are outside and if we go inside, the balloons that were caught despawn. Maximum of 10 balloons can be caught per net. Multiple nets can be crafted to catch additional balloons. You do have to go pop the balloons still. Or additionally, a button could be on the net that says pop balloons and it pops them all for us.
• Flowers, shrubs, tree varieties. Those types of things continually added would be neat. Especially around in game events! New flower type added for christmas, a new tree variety added for an event. *Maybe something like the cherry blossom tree can be specialty purchased from Leif that he bred to specifically bloom year round.
• MORE GROWABLE CROPS LIKE PUMPKINS! We love those and would love to see more. Strawberries, wheat, corn, grapes, tomatoes, for a few ideas.
• move resident services building
BIG SUGGESTION:
Let us purchase additional islands to work on!
How I think this could be implemented to be fair and balanced:
• you can only unlock additional island purchases if your current island is 5 stars.
• it would have to be pricey. Maybe even potentially cost BOTH bells and miles.
• Nook will call you one day when you log all in and say he has something to discuss. Upon talking to him he has a proposition for us. Realizing we've managed and run this island so well, he wants to send us to a new island to run that one as well. He says how much it costs. Upon making the deposit, we get to choose an island layout again. (Pls let us choose from more island layouts for this. All of the options available.) He then tells is to head over to DAL and tell orville we would like to fly to our new island.
• from here it can either operate just like the start of your new game, nook is there and tells us we gotta get kk to come to this island and all that. The beginning tutorials are void however.
• you cannot have dupe villagers (ie if coco is on your main island she cant be on any additional islands)
• a neat feature: when a villager says they wanna move from one island, an additional option is now available: move to (island name)? They will then move there if there is a plot of land available.
• When you once again hit 5 stars, Nook will again contact you. You will then be able to purchase another island. *I do not think the price should increase. As it should already be expensive in the first place.
• A limit of 6 or maybe 10 islands in total you can have. Every time your newest island hits 5 stars you can then go buy another from Nook.
• @nintendo You want to keep us interested in playing this game for as long as possible. People are already bored. Giving us the ability to purchase and run additional islands will give this game much longer play time. I know there will be the concern of people who will have already bought additional switches for running new islands. I promise they would LOVE this feature too. They will be able to EVEN MORE islands.
Its also worth noting, nintendo, you dont want people hacking. Why not implement these things, like the more functional ones (more pocket space, more design slots, bigger stacks) so people dont feel a need to hack? It would help a lot.
I have this posted on my Instagram as well. Please interact and tag nintendo so we can attempt to get them to see these suggestions.
This post has more suggestions covered and more detail than my insta post.

-July 15th, Journal Entry 97-
I wanted to get some more rockets before exploring sector 3-2, but I hadn't gotten the next shipment of gunpowder from my creeper farm yet.
When I checked on it, I noticed that I had not accounted for the fact that the farm also produces a very small amount of bones and arrows from spider jockeys, so I made it send shipments a bit earlier to make sure it's always sent to the storehouse before there's no more room for gunpowder.
I also found and killed a wandering trader who didn't have anything useful to sell.
Anyway, I have more rockets now, so I can explore sector 3-2, which hopefully has an ice plains spikes biome.
I found the ocean monument that I connected to my nether hub, which I didn't realize was very close to a different snow biome than the one I set up my cauldrons in.
This area also happens to be where I was originally planning to set up my How Did We Get Here? area before I decided to put it in the end, although the only thing I've set up here is a nether portal.
At -3760, -430, I found something peculiar, but not very useful.
Those are snowy grass blocks, but they don't actually have any snow on them, which shouldn't be possible.
Other than those things, I didn't find anything noteworthy.
There's no ice plains spikes biome in the first snowy area, but I found another snowy area that extends outside of sector 3-2, so it's possible that the second snowy area has the biome I'm looking for.
Here's the map so far.
I was planning to build some kind of structure in the southwest corner of sector 3-2, and then link it to my nether hub, so I can use it as a more convenient way to explore the western part of my map, but I think I'll probably build it further west, in sector 2-2, since I already have a portal relatively close to where I was going to build one.
Since the original location is in a snowy area, I was thinking of building a giant snowman, but I'll wait and see what biome the new location is in.
Like last time, I didn't find any new biomes, and didn't find a calico cat.
I still don't have a plan for getting How Did We Get Here?, but I can at least start gathering the mobs, and putting them in temporary holding cells.
The first of the 3 mobs I'll get is a wither skeleton, but I have to come up with a name for him so he doesn't despawn.
It was a little troublesome to do, but I managed to get him into a temporary holding place in the end, I also named him Jack.
He did get shot by a piglin on the way there, but I don't think that really matters, since I don't plan on hurting him.
For now, I'll just leave him there.

They call out for him, annoyed laughing at him always disappearing. They keep rounding corners in this place, labyrinthine, assuming he’s too focused to call back. They find a golden apple on the ground, just sitting outside of a corner room, and a limp arm lying on the ground, the rest covered in shadow.
they’re laughing when they try to wake him up, because you don’t just pass out, not like this. you either despawn, or you sit and heal. you don’t just. pass out, so it’s a joke?
they’re not laughing when he doesn’t. they’re not laughing when he’s so close to dead but he won’t wake up.

Minecraft story: Days 4-7
Days 1-3
Day 4:
At the suggestion of a friend, I turned off the auto-save feature and moved Chocolate Milk and Tess back into my house and closed off their access to the porch and Arnold’s Enclosure; this will restrict their movement to under 20 blocks in any direction so that they will not despawn. It has worked perfectly, but I still will not save my game when they are not both in my direct line of sight.
While I held what I think was a stack of two eggs, one from Tess and one from a chicken I had in my ranch outside, I tried and failed to eat a slice of cake, throwing the egg into the wall, hatching a small baby chicken. I had not intended on hatching these eggs; I had not really set in stone any plans for them, but they probably would have been made into a cake. I had full intentions of hatching Tess’s eggs, but only once I could assure they were all her eggs. I immediately fell in love with this baby chicken, and named him Lelo (it’s pronounced exactly like Lilo from Lilo and Stitch, but when I thought of the name, I visualized it with an e, so- yeah. It’s not like some thing to make him unique, it’s just how I visualized it.). I do not know whether or not Lelo is Tess’s biological child or if they were another chicken’s egg, but it does not matter now, because Tess has adopted him as her own, Lelo is Tess’s child and nobody can say otherwise. Of course, there was a bit of panic, as once Lelo grew up I would not be able to differentiate between him and Tess. I built a boat and placed Tess inside, and Chocolate Milk placed herself in the boat because that’s what Chocolate Milk does. Of course because my house was so small that the boat ended up blocking the front door, so now I have to leave my house through the back.
I added a storage room to my house after much frustration on what to keep and throw out due to inventory space.
I found an underwater ravine in the ocean beside the desert out behind my home. I have mined a lot here and it wielded lots of materials.
I HAVE ACQUIRED DIAMONDS! After literal hours of mining and searching, I finally found a pocket of 5 diamonds. I mined all around each diamond to ensure there was no lava around it that would burn it. I used three of the diamonds to make a diamond pickaxe, and then mined a sufficient amount of obsidian to assemble a Nether portal. I hope to go to the Nether and find a Nether fortress to find name tags inside the fortress. I have exited the game for the night, and will venture into the Nether tomorrow.
Day 5:
As YOGSCAST Lewis & Simon once said, Screw the Nether.
After a few minutes of prep, I began my journey into the Nether and was immediately attacked by a Ghast, who damaged me and put out my nether portal. I was able to re-light the portal and flee through it as I saw another shot coming towards me. Something interesting to note was that when I went back into the Nether, it was as if no time had passed, and the charge was still coming towards me.
Ghasts have been the bane of my existence. From the moment I stepped into the Nether they have harassed me at every turn. I tracked my progress and marked my way by the stone walls and hides I had scrambled together across the hellscape. I actually grew quite talented in fighting them, having stacks of cobblestone, able to craft a protective wall out of them in seconds, darting out from behind the wall and firing arrows, and surveying the area before dashing to the next protective wall of cobblestone I had built.
Fighting Ghasts requires a significant amount of arrows however, and there is only one way I know of acquiring feathers...
The chickens in the ranch outside my home are brought into the world and are often showered with seeds to help them grow big and strong quickly and then are paired off with a loving companion with whom they have lovely little children. What happens after that I try not to think about too much...
In order to feed the chickens and grow enough wheat to sustain the rapid consumption of bread in the Nether, I expanded my farm. It is not as neat and orderly as it was before, but it is more efficient.
I discovered that in the Nether, a short distance from the portal, was the end of the Nether, a large bedrock wall as rough and uneven as the bedrock at the bottom of the world. It is truly a sight to behold.
It is a well-known rule in Minecraft that a person should never dig straight down, but today, digging straight down saved my life. As I was fighting two ghasts behind a cobblestone wall, a third appeared behind me where I had no wall to protect myself, and fired at me. As someone who had been hiding behind stone walls for the past few hours, I guess I was in no position to judge the third Ghast’s tactics, like my own, it’s tactics sure as Nether were a lethal pain in the ass. I ran out into the open in my panic, and was now being fired upon by three Ghasts. Low on health, my body set ablaze and charing by the second, with terrifying beasts attacking me from both sides, I had no time to build an efficient cobblestone shelter, so in an attempt to save myself, I pulled one last desperate move: I dug a hole. Switching to my Iron Pickaxe, I looked straight below myself and dug. My body falling each block I removed, I quickly was out of the line of sight of the Ghasts. When I dug into a pocket of magma blocks and was damaged, I kept digging, knowing I would break through the pocket soon enough, and I did, emerging safely onto netherrack flooring. Safe away from the Ghasts, the fire charing my body fizzled out while I was at half a heart, leaving me severely injured, but alive. I placed a block of cobblestone above my head, and laughed at the absurdity of the situation and my luck.
When I returned home low on cobblestone, I built a cobblestone generator, with both water and lava flowing to meet and make cobblestone. I am ashamed to admit that I died to this contraption. Placing myself at the edge of the waterflow to more efficiently get the cobblestone before it was swallowed up by the lava, the water pushed me into the molten rock, setting my body ablaze. In a moment of sheer stupidity, I forgot that there was water right behind me as part of the contraption, and dashed to the ocean not far from the generator. Unfortunately, I had taken too much damage already, and the fire killed me while I was one block away from the water, scattering my inventory into the water, which I had to swim out for. I regained 7 of the 23-25 levels I had, a significant drop. After this I gave up on the cobblestone generator, and went out to the pathetic excuse for a cave not far from my home to mine cobblestone. During my mining, I found a large cave very similar to a small ravine. The only thing that differentiated it from a ravine was that the high ceiling did not open up to the sky. The single waterfall that led down all the way from the ceiling might have led to an ocean, making it an underwater ravine, but I did not check. I found 19 pieces of iron ore in this pseudo-ravine, and sufficient cobblestone from it and the cave I had come in from.
After many trips back and forth from the Overworld and the Nether for arrows, bread, and once cobblestone, I finally found a Nether Fortress. After one more trip back to the Overworld for sufficient preparations, I entered the fortress. I got all the way to the blaze spawners, but as I tried to destroy one of the spawners, I was killed by a blaze. After staring at the death screen for a moment, I turned off the PS3 and promptly gave up. The most valuable item I found in the chests leading up to that point was iron horse armor, and I don’t even have a horse.
I chose to raid the Nether Fortress for Name Tags instead of choosing the much easier fishing method is to reduce the kill count; I didn’t want to end so many fish’s lives just for Name Tags when I could go and get them in some chests in a fortress, but look at what has happened: I’ve had to kill so many chickens for feathers to make weapons used to kill other creatures. I cannot bring back the creatures I have killed, but I can choose to stop killing them. Screw the Nether, I’m goin’ fishin’.
Day 6:
At the suggestion of a friend I have rethought my decision to ditch the Nether. They reminded me that placing torches around a spawner will deactivate them, and suggested a more humane way of getting arrows: skeletons. Thank you friend, this world would be much bleaker without your advice.
I still took up fishing, knowing I could get name tags from there. I took nine fish, and after that, threw the rest back. I’ve gone fishing in real life before, there was no way that the fish could have died that soon after being caught. They’re not dead; shush.
I fished by day and hunted monsters by night. While fighting monsters at night, I encountered a Husk giving a Baby Zombie a piggy-back ride on it’s shoulders, though there is significant evidence to suggest that the Baby Zombie was controlling the Husk. I acquired sufficient arrows from the skeletons to venture into the Nether again, and acquired a saddle from fishing, but no Name Tags. Seeking to enchant my fishing rod with the Luck of the Sea enchantment to increase my chances of getting Name Tags, I went out to mine and found diamonds rather quickly, enough to craft an enchanting table, as I had used the previous 2 diamonds to craft a diamond sword in a moment of forgetfulness. I added another room to my house: a crafting room. Inside the room I placed a crafting table, an anvil, and an enchanting table. I remembered that I needed Bookshelves to increase the power of the enchanting table, but I was hesitant to acquire the leather required to craft books by killing cows. A quick internet search left me with another option: Fishing. Of course. I continued doing what I was doing: fishing by day and hunting Skeletons by night. As tools and armor naturally broke, I realized I was running low on iron, and that it would be smart to mine more iron now before my iron tools ran out rather than screwing myself over by not having any backups when they eventually broke. I went to a cave and began to mine, and found more caves and lots of iron.
One of the Zombie’s I was forced to kill in the cave dropped a potato?? I thought I would have to find a village to acquire potatoes but I guess not. I am growing potatoes now in my farm.
After being satisfied by the amount of iron I acquired, I tried to exit the cave, but discovered that I couldn’t find the way I had come in, running around in circles. I dug through the wall and my own exit, and emerged in a swamp. I spent the next chunk of my time lost in those swamps. I’m glad I got lost there of all places though, as I ended up finding slimes that I killed in self defense and got slimeballs that I later made leads out of. I made a 64 block tower of dirt with a torch atop it when I first got out of the cave to mark such a good mine; I used that tower to help find my way. I found a witch’s hut, but did not enter, knowing it was very dangerous. Night approached as I first saw the house, and I had my first encounter with Phantoms, as I had not slept in several days.
I eventually found my way back home, and might have kissed the ground if I had a button to do so. I am so happy to finally be home.
Day 7:
I returned to the Nether and entered the Fortress. I ran up the blaze spawners and blocked them all off with a wall of cobble, and placed torches around one which didn’t work. I soon realized that the spawners had no chests around them. I looked through what as far as I could tell was the rest of the Fortress, and none of the chests had Name Tags in them. I promptly left the Nether. Until I choose to go to the End, I will not be returning. Screw the Nether, everything I’ve done in the Nether has been an egregious waste of time, resources, effort, and life.
I went back to fishing. I crafted a boat and swam out a bit so no monsters could get me and set up shop. While fishing I caught a rod with Luck of the Sea II, Lure II, and Unbreaking III. No, I’m not kidding. It was on low durability so I went home, and merged it with my current fishing rod using my anvil.
I HAVE ACQUIRED NAME TAGS!!! I acquired them all through fishing. The first one I got I saw it as I reeled it in, and then it flew over my head. I scrambled around and out of the boat, swimming around until I found it. I named Tess first, as I needed to differentiate her from Lelo first and I wanted to let her out of the boat. She had been flapping her wings ever since she was put in the boat, and I know she was happy to finally be out. I accidentally hit Chocolate Milk while trying to break the boat; I’m sorry Chocolate Milk. They have now all been named, minus the dogs as they don’t despawn, and I opened up the way to Arnold’s Enclosure, before I remembered that wolves had spawned in there. I quickly blocked the enclosure back up. There was only one wolf in the enclosure, though before there had been four in there; I didn’t think wolves could despawn but apparently they can (Or they were killed by monsters.) I went to get bones, and then back into the enclosure and tamed the wolf inside. Welcome to the family Bernard.
I kinda don’t know what to do now. For the past few days the entirety of my time was dedicated to getting Name Tags for my companions. Almost everything I’ve done has been for them. I think I will just enjoy them for a while. I wasn’t there much while Lelo was growing up, and I’ve been on a mission since day 3; it’s day 7 now; I’ve been going in and out of the house without paying them as much attention as they deserve for longer than I have been paying them the attention they deserve. I gave them treats when I happened to have wheat or seeds in my inventory, but other than that they have sadly been neglected. I was so focused on keeping them safe and from despawning, I neglected their happiness. Well no more. From now on I’ll be showering them with the attention they deserve. Everything I’ve done so far has been for them, and it will continue to be. Chocolate Milk, Tess, Lelo, Norman, Betwood, Bernard, I love you all. Happy New Year.

Somethin I’m dying to know about new horizons.....
what is the item limit for outside?
what about inside?
In New Leaf, you could place 48 items in a room before hitting the limit.
But with the Switch’s greater capacity for processing and junk, plus with the feature of placing items outside..????
is it per “zone” or “acre” as well for the outside areas?
They must delineate the boundaries somehow to load in/despawn different parts of the map depending on the players position. There’s no reason to have unseen parts of the map loaded in, that’s a waste of pixels or whatever to process.
Anyone else curious about this??

workin on skyrim houses.... i am steadily amassing all real estate in skyrim lmao
most of this is super old news now but i never got around to posting it so
i hate that bag back there so much every single time i see it i think its a person for half a second
moved my family to solitude and everyone seems happy
fuck YES this is the kind of room worthy of my beautiful children
i got TWO MORE MANNEQUINS who are both very unruly and frequently refuse to stand where they’re supposed to but i at least haven’t seen them move,
what is this room down here??? is my housecarl sleeping here?? why doesn’t she get a bed this place is enormous. lydia gets a bed. argis gets a bed. what the fuck is this nonsense
also i built an alchemy lab for my wife bc she used to be an apothecary’s assistant and i thought she might like it and I DO ACTUALLY SEE HER USING IT which makes me enormously happy
i dont know if your spouse just always makes use of the things in the house or if its a particular characteristic for muiri or not but i like to think she appreciates my efforts
im not using this house for a whole lot yet its mostly for my family
this isnt related to houses i dont know why this is in here but i dont feel like moving it, anyway this guy was offering what he clearly described as “meat pies” at the fire festival but then it turned out to be apple, which is probably because apple pies are the only ones that actually exist in the game’s coding as far as ive ever seen/they probably wanted to avoid this being The World’s Rarest Pie or something but its still :’) odd
time to BUILD AN ENTIRE HOUSE!!!!! by MYSELF!!!!!
I HAVE A COW!!!! LOOK AT HER!!!! COW
i dont have a lot of progress shots of the falkreath property but it took a Very Long Time :’ ) its coming along great now though i think i just have a couple more things in the basement and it’ll be totally finished
check out this sickass taxidermied skeever i got
yEAH!!!!! SKELETON!!!! YEEAAHHHH
as it turns out, though, owning a house outside of the city is, uh. apparently very dangerous, because, in addition to the giants constantly going after my cows,
SKEEVERS
I DIDNT KNOW THEY COULD GET IN THE BASEMENT
man you dont really fully appreciate the size of these fuckers until they’re in your goddamn HOUSe
i didnt REMOTELY expect them to be in here so i didnt even notice them for a good few minutes, i was just like. fucking around sorting things or something when i suddenly noticed Movement
for half a confused second i thought they were just like, hanging out and was momentarily very pleased with the new friends i had obtained before they all started attacking me :’)
had to kill them, which is a shame because i would have absolutely loved to have random skeevers hanging out in my basement. why must we fight
this also meant my basement was full of skeever corpses for a bit until they despawned lmao
but, ok, rats in the basement, giants getting in your yard, thats like, understandable hazards, i guess, but falkreath was not done with me yet
I HAD BANDITS COME BARGING INTO MY FUCKING HOUSE
ARE THEY SUPPOSED TO DO THIS???? THEY CAN JUST DO THIS????
you have the option to move your family in to this house if you want to and im fucking glad i didnt, children cant be harmed as far as i know but they could’ve come in here and fuckign murdered my wife
I MEAN I UNDERSTAND THATS. THE WAY THINGS ARE SOMETIMES IN A PLACE LIKE SKYRIM BUT COME ON NOW
aNYWAY, i and my. snarky dark elf friend from solstheim who was with me at the time killed them all and there wasnt much in this room so nothing important got knocked over or anything, i dont know where the fuck lydia was during all this bc she’s supposed to be guarding this house and she didnt do shit, but
ALRIGHT. SURE. MY HOUSE IS FULL OF CORPSES AND THERES BLOOD SPLATTERED EVERYWHERE BUT ITS FINE EVERYTHINGS FINE WE’RE FINE
the corpses and the blood disappeared the next time i came back here but. god :’)
i bought the windhelm property a while ago and forgot about it/didn’t want to remodel it bc i didnt want to lose the fuckign butcher crime scene but finally decided to investigate it
unless you choose to pay to have it cleaned up you do Not in fact lose the crime scene. you could potentially move your kids in here and still have blood everywhere. i m losing it
welcome to my lovely home
i feel like theres somehow MORE blood in here than there was before but i dont remember
you can remodel the secret room into an alchemy lab without removing the murder debris which is VERY funny to me
also very kind of the windhelm steward or whoever remodeled this for me to provide me with fuckign black soul gems,
arent these like. illegal
one of my mannequins got stuck in this ridiculous pose for a while and the helmet is absolutely not helping lmao
#lucy plays skyrim#i THOUGHT i posted this ages ago but here it is in my drafts anyway. why#scooby dooby queue

Drift Away
Notes: I was inspired by a friend who got this idea to begin with and the song Drift Away from the Steven Universe Movie.
Thank you for reading!
When Grian said they were going somewhere, Villager Grian was excited. Thus far they had only played and worked in the house. Grian making it taller, talking to him idly about this and that. About Sahara and Iskall and Mumbo and all the other hermits. It was fun, listening to his chatter.
But then the build off was ending soon and there wasn’t much left to do at the house. So Grian said they were going somewhere, Villager Grian was ecstatic. A little trip out of the house, with Grian!
He followed the dirt paths Grian had made all the way to a small little quartz hut with a beacon in the center and a bunch of levers, buttons, and item frames. He didn’t really understand what Grain meant when he said they were going back to the future. Hadn’t really understood what the machine did in the first place anyway, but Grian was there and he seemed so sure of himself so he felt confident that it would be fine.
For a few moments, as the machine warmed up, it whirled and sizzled. The walls shook and the ground felt like it was moving. Then, from the center of his vision, a bright white light appeared until it consumed his vision.
Then, it was all over. The building was stable and the light was gone. From the little windows in the iron door he could tell that they were no longer behind the house but in some sort of field.
Grian seemed a little concerned but perked up when he realized that they were just a little ways away from hermit vill.
“It’s kind of far,” Grian had said when he returned from his flight to see where they were. “So I’ll come back for you, okay? Just stay right here.”
Villager Grian had agreed with a nod, watching Grain leave through the tiny holes in the iron door. He’d be back, it wouldn’t take too long.
Day and night cycles passed by slowly. The days were long and boring with nothing to do in the, what Grian claimed was a time machine. He was afraid to mess with the levers and buttons incase he activated the machine.
Other than that, there wasn’t much to do other than to stand at the door and wait. Night was much scarier. Although he knew he was safe behind that iron door, monsters still loomed just outside, moaning and groaning, banging on the door until the sun came up and their either burned to death or fled for some cover.
Regardless, Villager Grian remained, waiting. Grian would come for him, he said he would.
After, who knows how many days, there was finally something other than a monster waiting for him at the door but instead of Grian there was a different person. They had a kind face but they weren’t Grian.
“What are you doing in there?” they said, raising an eyebrow before looking around. “Aren’t you Grian’s villager?”
Why yes, yes he was. And he was waiting for Grain to come back so shoo.
“Man, what is this thing?” they said, stepping back from the door to look around the time machine. “Looks dangerous.”
It was just a time machine. Sure it was scary when it was activated but when it was idle like this it didn’t make for...it was a kind of uncomfortable home. A secure home, but uncomfortable nevertheless.
“Hold on, let me get Doc,” the person said and then they were gone.
That didn’t sound good. Why didn’t they just get Grian?
Doc was a much scarier looking person. He seemed to be half zombie half cyborg. His glowing red eye scrutinized Villager Grian and the time machine.
“Hmmmm, You know, dude.” Doc turned to the other person whose name was apparently Scar. “There’s a lot of unexplained things appearing in the world lately.”
“You know, you’re right,” Scar said, rubbing his chin and eyeing the time machine again. “We should probably do something about it.”
“Some of these things could be dangerous, man!” Doc said, shaking his head and tapping the iron door. “We’ve got to keep them contained.”
Scar thought for a moment before snapping. “I have just the idea, come on.”
And with that, they flew off into the sky. Villager Grian hoped that would be the last he would have to see of those two.
But, two days later, they were back with their picks and minecarts. They dismantled the time machine piece by piece after trapping Villager Grain in one of those damnable minecarts. They laid a track and rolled him all the way to a hanger.
“There,” Scar said as he placed the last piece of the time machine down. “How’s our little buddy doing?”
“Just fine,” Doc said, placing the last piece of glass over Villager Grian’s head.
He was not fine, thank you very much. He was still in that damn minecart in a one by one box of glass. This was less room that in the damn time machine!
“We’ll need to build a better containment center or this thing,” Scar said, after inspecting the glass box.
“Oh wait, dude,” Doc said, suddenly before groaning. “Grian’s curious, he’s going to come sneaking around here looking for all of this.”
Scar scowled and tapped his finger against his chin. “You’re right, we’ve got to hide it better, just until we can build a better containment facility.”
“What about this guy?” Doc said, pointing his trident at Villager Grian.
Oh, they could give him back to Grian. Wouldn’t that be nice?
“We’ve got to hide him too,” Scar said with a little laugh. “He’s the only being other than Grian that’s traveled through time!”
Doc nodded along and Villager Grian felt his stomach drop out. “Yeah, yeah. We’ve got to do tests on him.”
Tests?! What kind of tests? Were they going to open him up and see how he worked? Tests?!
Doc and Scar left, probably to discuss how they were going to torture him. Villager Grian sighed, and looked around. There was literally nothing for him to do now. At least he could walk around in the time machine.
He just hoped that Grian found him before they decided to move him.
Time became meaningless, the longer he was in that glass tube. There was no view of the sky and no indication of the passage of time. But, eventually, Doc and Scar returned before Grian could find him.
They took apart the time machine once more, Scar taking it away somewhere. Which left Villager Grian with Doc who, honestly, scared him quiet a bit.
“Alright, little fella,” Doc said as he placed down rails in front of him. “We’re going to go on a little ride.”
He was brought deeper into the facility, down winding corridors and down some flights of stairs. He was sucked down into a bubble elevator and almost drowned at the bottom.
But, finally, Doc locked him away in yet another glass tube on a podium. All around him where switched and levers, redstone contraptions and cameras. And there he was left.
Sometimes Doc would return, flip a lever here or there, mutter this and that about the time-space continuum, and then leave again.
Villager Grian grew weary of it all, the hope that Grian would come for him still kept him from despawning. And Grain would come, wouldn’t he? He promised he would.
He had no idea how much time had passed before Scar suddenly appeared. He was wearing a new outfit, one that replaced ihs kind face with a rather angry one. He was still polite, however, more so than Doc.
“Alright, buddy,” he said as he broke the glass tube. “Are you ready for your new home?”
New home? What could that possibly mean? Another small tube? Another damnable tiny space?
Instead, at the end of another long minecart ride (and then a brief and terrifying stint in a boat), they were in the bowels of the facility. Scar rowed him all the way over to a giant glass wall.
The blast doors were up and when they turned the corner, Villager Grian was in a bit of awe. There was a house, but not just any house. It had a modern style and was twice the size of the house back in Hermit vill.
“Well, take a look around,” Scar said as he freed Villager Grian from the boat. “This is where you’ll be staying.”
Villager Grian slowly approached the house, expecting a trap of some kind or another. Yet, when Doc didn’t appear out of nowhere and neither did some redstone monstrosity, he carefully explored the house.
There was a kitchen and a bedroom, even a bathroom! Out back there was a pool and a garden with lawn chairs and an umbrella.
“Well, home sweet home,” Scar said with a laugh before turning toward the blast doors. “Make yourself comfortable.”
As the doors closed and Villager Grian chose to ignore all of the camera’s watching him, he did just that.
He lounged by the pool, made himself a meal, and snuggled up in bed. But yet, he waited. This house was a nice relief after all of those contaminants and testing, but it was nothing compared to what Grian promised to build him one day. It was nothing compared to being outside in the sun again.
And, alas, it became boring. There was no one to talk to, no one to play with. Just him and a fishing rod and a pond.
Scar and Doc visited once, just so Scar could show off the house. A bit spitfully, Villager Grian pushed Scar into the pool. It wasn’t deep nor did it matter too much, but it made him feel better.
He was beginning to lose hope. There was no way Grain was going to find him now. Doc and Scar didn’t come back and he was left all alone in this big house. With a fishing rod and a pool.
The explosion was sudden, like the others had been. Doc had been doing something with explosives earlier. But this one sounded closer and accompanied by the patter of blocks hitting the ground.
Villager Grian rushed to the window of his containment and tried to see down the hall but couldn’t see much of anything. Until, suddenly, there was Grain!
He had two others with him and they were running right for him! Villager Grain couldn’t hear around the dull blue glass but the three were talking to each other rapidly.
Grian was looking at the time machine which was just across the way. One of the others with him, one with a ponytail and shades, turned and saw him. He pointed and Grian finally turned around.
Villager Grian perked up. He was free! Grain was finally here to save him!
Grian rushed over, a massive smile on his face. He raised his pickaxe then stopped, staring past Villager Grian at the house.
Slowly, the small dropped and the axe went away. Villager Grian, confused, leaned closer against the glass.
Grian stared at him, eyes darting between Villager Grian’s before he said something to the other two.
And turned away.
Villager Grian pounded on the glass as they went into the time machine without so much as another glance back. He watched, chest filling with pain, as the time machine disappeared before his very eyes.
Alone.
With a pond.
And a fishing rod.
But, no. It can’t be. Grian must have to get the machine to safety first. He would be back. He promised he would.
He would be back.
He just had to wait here.
