An Awkward First Day Out

New apprentice Bogpaw was going out with her mentor, Flutterfoot for the first time. But, Feathershade was eager to join them.. for uh, reasons.. that should be obvious judging by this drawing. Bogpaw gets ignored as a result of this, resulting in a very unproductive and awkward training session.

Seeing A Kit's Future Demise

These next two are very, very recent, I've made them both this month. This one is a scene from Palestar's kithood. Cedarwhisker, a former deputy, now of StarClan, apparently saw Palekit's future demise. Crowblink doesn't like the way Cedarwhisker is looking at his sister, and he's yelling at him for it.

Featuring my main sona Ember, popping up in StarClan to tell Grassheart that the game decided that her sons, Beepelt and Hemlockswipe are murderers now. With Beepelt killing Frigidpaw, and Hemlockswipe killing Nightburn AND Smokeyberry..

Whispercrest "Found" A Kit

Yeah, pretty sure that kit you "found" is likely your own, Whispercrest. She looks way too much like you for her not to be, so that's the canon within HorizonClan's story, being that Whispercrest claims to have found a kit, but that kit was actually a kit she gave birth to..

A Dream Not Meant To Be

Sloepaw, who died as an apprentice. I made this, because I remembered something when he was a kit, the game said "Sloekit dreams of becoming a warrior" which he'd never be.. With how many kits and apprentices HoC had lost, I highly, highly doubt Sloepaw was the only cat this could be said about, but he's the only one who immediately came to mind.

Designs Explained

So, what is this? For a time, I was really thrown off regarding why Summitsnap and Snapskitter were listed as being bicolored, because I didn't see any obvious colors other than white. When I looked in the files, it said that Summitsnap had an off white scourge paw, and Snapskitter had a gray ear, which, for him, I thought I'd seen–it's pretty obvious, but it doesn't really work great with his sprite and therefore it wasn't quite as obvious as it seems it normally would be, so I wasn't sure until I checked the files. So, Nightburn being Summitsnap's son, how he looks exactly like Scourge, is a lot more clear. Doesn't explain how he got black fur though–to be fair, his mother was unknown. As for the third image with Spotfruit, I did see the spot over his eye, obviously.. but it just looked black to me. I checked Spotfruit, not for explaining his design, but for explaining his son's pelt, that being Dropletfur, who has the "ghost" pelt. Which is when I found out that Spotfruit's pelt under all that white, is also the ghost pelt... which is where Dropletfur got it...

A Mysterious Murder

Basilleaf had been killed as setup for a villain storyline I was brainstorming, but it never materialized, resulting in a pointless death of a character I had attachment to, and adding +1 to his daughter's trauma counter..... I'm... so sorry, Grassheart... my poor RNG tortured baby, you didn't deserve this..

Reunited At Last

Kind of a sad follow up to the previous post, I made this after Whorlpounce herself died later. For a comparison, Cariboufleck, the light brown one, died first, at 46 moons, Troutsmoke the blueish gray one, died at 81 moons, and Whorlpounce, at 109 moons. I really love these three, likely in no small part because of them being the first kits born in the clan, to Cedarfall and an unknown tom.

- deputy after Peachspeck until she retired

- mother of Cariboufleck, Troutsmoke and Whorlpounce, who had been the first kittens ever born into the clan, after it's founding..

- eventually became mates with Horizonstar

- died at 162 moons from a snake bite

Leafflight

- least significant founder to HorizonClan's history, even Peachspeck, who died after a few moons of the clan's existence, was more important.. due to being HoC's first deputy

- killed by ArchClan, age of death unknown

Echospots

- killed by a large dog, leading it far enough away to save his clan, age of death unknown

Robinheart

- trans male

- first cat in HoC to officially retire

- mates with Cedarfall for a time

- killed by a badger at 157 moons

FLURRYSPECK AND RIVERFUR

Flurryspeck

- formerly a kittypet named Jaiden

- died of infection, age of death unknown

Riverfur

- formerly a kittypet named Byeol

- killed by rouges at 50 moons

BIXBITE

Bixbite was the mother of Micastar, Maplerapid and Hopedawn, she had been found to have died kitting by Creekfeather

LIZARDBLOTCH

Lizardblotch was the brother of Shiveringgorse and Orchidpaw

- swept away in a flood and never came back, his death was confirmed in game on moon 80.. exact age of death unknown...

Yeah, the screenshot of Rowanspot shows her partially faded, uhhhm–you get the idea.

• Summitfrost, who'd originally been a she cat before changing to identify as non binary, really didn't get to enjoy retirement at all. They retired with an infected wound, that very wound killed them very shortly after..

• Micastar, or Micawhisper when she died, had been leader for many moons before retiring due to increasing problems with her epilepsy.. which she had been born with...

I noticed when making these that I seem to have lost Flurryspeck and Riverfur, meaning that they must've faded completely, before I had the chance to disable fading for them in the way that I disabled it, for everyone else.. Both had been she cats who were originally from outside of the clan before joining. Flurryspeck was a white furred spotted tabby, she had originally been a kittypet named Jaiden, and eventually died of an infected wound... while Riverfur had originally been a kittypet named Byeol–whatever that means, she had been a very blue leopard print, and had been killed by rouges alongside her apprentice, Frostpaw.

• Orchidcrawl had been the littermate of Shiveringgorse, and Lizardblotch–who, I think actually faded, so I can't show him, but he was a red and white leopard print cat.

Beepelt, the only unknown residence clan spirit... had been exiled for killing the young apprentice, Frigidpaw with foxglove seeds. When Beepelt died, he didn't go to the Dark Forest, as his last act was trying to warn his old clan about rouges in the area, but he also felt undeserving of going to StarClan, and so, he chose to remain a wanderer after death..

There's only five here, because after this, I'll be doing the cats that died at under a year of age, so kits and apprentices. The only exception to this is Icybadger, who was in an earlier part. As a note, kits and apprentices that died were given warrior names in StC

• Speaking of, Onionspots had technically been an apprentice when he died, but was warrior age, and only never became a true warrior, because he was sick.. with redcough, his entire time in the clan, from when he joined at 8 moons, to when he died at 13..

• Sandylarch had been Dashtuft's littermate, and they were the kits of Summitfrost and Feathershade, making them the younger half siblings of Palestar and her littermates. But, Palestar didn't really care for either of them

• Tuftedripple and Furledbat, littermates of Sloepaw, had been from Cavernflick and Hemlockswipe's final litter, before Cavernflick died, Hemlockswipe had lasted longer.

• Dawnpath had been from Mountainstar's final litter, which Thistlewisp gave birth to shortly after Mountain died, leaving him to never know his father before his own death.

• Mallowweb and his littermates Craneglide and Tulipkit, were from Freckle's second litter that she had with Stormpelt.. his only kits...
