So like, we don't really know who Yanqing's birth parents are, or really his past, but we do know about the more recent stuff. We know that he is a child with a love for swords and amazing skill. With people not knowing he is young He may have master things that may take others centuries. That scares me more then it makes me excited. As we know him having to fight his father is hinted at many times as well as the *jesters to the wall of proof* (Mara, past corruption, history rhymes, Abundance theory). This makes me thing that he might have to fight him much sooner then anyone would like. Yanqing's whole world so far has been his job, Even being in the military at such a young age. Seeing what he can do, I would want to prove myself to, seeing what he has gone through I would want to be an adult. If everyone saw me as such except the one I truly wish would see me as so (Jing Yuan). He IS a child after all with the strengths that others can only dream of. What all this rant so far means is that, Yanqing might have kill Jing Yuan before he will be able to put himself together after. Everyone will be hard on him because the public thinks he is way older. His world will shatter because his job, his life, his father, and his knowledge of the world will shift drastically. He is able physically, although emotionally and mentally he is strong (the Hheliobi event where he got into a mental battle about his self worth). Maybe weaker, not because he isn't capable, but because everyone has there problems, but we all have an anchor. Wither its a person, an object, a memory, or the future that we crave, if we lose our anchor we can suffer. a lot. Yanqing's story build up is a little scary ngl

this is a bit of an ask inspired by another ask (and also ridiculously silly) but what’s the boys’ relationship with penny like in the future?? i loved the little snippet of her at bradley’s wedding and ice trying to figure out if she’s a threat or not (and then maverick coming back from dancing and saying he couldn’t stop gushing over ice….ugh!!!) but do they become good solid friends? I like the idea of them expanding their circle now that they can trust more people…even if one of those people are one of maverick’s exes

additionally: do her and ice ever talk about their shared experiences (not sex, ice would probably keel over and die, but just…having a relationship with mav)? the thought of penny cornering him is ridiculously funny to me. or maybe they never reach that point of comfort 🤷‍♀️ i just need to know if she ever takes them both sailing and ice gets a chance to laugh at mav on a boat

I could be way off base, but I have been thinking about this since she said this and trying to figure out what moral? At the time, the best they could figure would be to follow Alyx’s path, but not make the mistakes she made. We now know not only was the story changed from what Jaune was there for, but Alyx wasn’t like the girl who’s in the story.

If there is some “moral” to be learned here, I did wonder if it was to respect and understand different people. Because that’s something up until this current chapter NONE of our main cast have done. RW.BY have been operating out of a story with people as a means to an end. They aren’t really people in their own right, just a way to progress forward. They never really ask anything about the Afterans, outside of asking Curious about ascension, and it’s not like they are a reliable source of information since they seem to have the ability to influence Afteran’s will and only will answer what is asked.

Jaune mentioned that Alyx was cruel and didn’t think the rules applied to her, and while they’ve not been cruel about it we’ve not seen anyone from Remnant treat the Afterans like actual people until (R)WBY listens to the Paper Pleasers. @professorspork spoke about Blake caring about the Paper Pleasers and speaking up for them, and it’s really the first time any of them think about the lives of the people there and not just getting home… Not that Jaune or Ruby agree that they are people.

Just because it’s a fairy-tale to them doesn’t mean it’s not real to the people there. It doesn’t mean they don’t have full lives, even if the visitors of Remnant don’t understand or agree with their culture. Ever After has shown Blake specifically that her culture is very important to her, and if there is some moral to be gained by Blake in this “story” is that understanding different cultures only enhances everyone and leads to greater cooperation. Almost like that’s a goal of hers...

Girls Night...at the Barcade 🥂🎳😏

It was Sunday night and Penny was invited to Moonlight Bowling at this random Barcade with her cousins, Fallon & Farrah (yeah, the "New In Town Scenario" girl). They were here on a business trip (Fallon is a Simfluencer and her management is in San My and Farrah is a Fashion Photographer) and this was their last night in town, so she got dressed and decided to meet them there.

She arrived about 15 minutes before them and decided to head to the bar for her favorite drink, Champagne (her lil bougie ass)...

A few moments later, she texts Farrah letting her know she's at the bar and their lane will be ready in about 10 minutes. Meanwhile, Moe notices her sitting there alone and sparks conversation, gives a flirty introduction, a suggested look AND offered to buy her another drink...

(disregard the busted ass townies, they just wont go away!). She's single & thinks he's fine AF so of course she accepted.

By this point our lil alcohol lightweight had a glass of dry Champagne (her fave), a Remy Martin VSOP Cocktail, AND a Frozen Margarita...🥴 Now although Moe's a lil whore, He's a patient & charming lil whore who likes the thrill of the chase...

So despite him thinking of all the ways He would fold her up like a pretzel, he enjoyed their conversation even more. Eye contact is definitely Moe's biggest weakness and Penny's tipsy, flirtatious ass was staring him in his eyes the whole time.

The 10 minutes had passed and her cousins arrived just in time for the their lane to open. Moe didn't want to impose on her girls night, so he wrapped up their conversation by offering to take her out sometime and gave her his number. "No pressure of course" (his exact words but he knows damn well she's gonna call...)

Fallon and Farrah meet her near the bar but Farrah was no longer interested in bowling (It's the way I had to summon Farrah's ass TWICE because she kept leaving then refused to bowl) ANYWHO... Penny & Fallon tipsy moonlight bowled until like 5 AM.

It's pretty dark but I have been laughing at Fallon pop-locking after knocking all but one pin down in the first gif. 😩 Then Penny was on the struggle bus the WHOLE time!

Pen finally managed to hit a Strike in her last frame but still lost. However, our girl managed to level up (and can now select a cute lil red swirl bowling ball...oooohhhh scandalous 💁🏽‍♀️).

She somehow manages to leave the Barcade at like 7AM, knowing damn well that she has to be at work at 10AM. As soon as she makes it back to her condo, that's when she runs into Nico near the elevator (and swoons)

...before unlocking her door, jumping in the shower, and quickly accepting the call to work from home logging into her computer.

After she finished up with her work day, she checks her socials and somehow ended up here😩

Confused as to why Nova (one of her good friends might I add) wanted to BlickBLOCK her into next year...She quickly closed Social Bunny, flung her phone on the sofa, and gathered her thoughts as best as she knew how.

Nct was started as a group with infinite members. The goal was to have a male akb48

That being said the financial success of akb48 depended on the members doing various activities OUTSIDE of the group with an emphasis on practical safe and relatively inexpensive projects= consistent returns on investment.

Also the group's success depended on the group being well, actually successful.

S.m's marketing strategy is the opposite. The group is successful just by virtue of existing, they will get million invested in them regardless.

The group at least was thought of since the early 2010s when most of their members join. We know the group did not have a name and was simply a large collection of male trainee's. The group was basically a basket to keep their trainee's inside of. Don't worry if you do not make it into xyz group you can go to Nct.

Johnny was originally going to be a member of exo and was later placed in Nct, not the first round but in a later unit nct U.

It's actually very odd the thought and financial process of nct. Because unlike with akb48 it was not the direct intention to have the members do other projects and have seperate careers. It is the method of s.m to have people in groups for a majority of their career and then they can do other things. Unless you are lucky.

Also akb48 built up over time. It is a very old group, whereas nct gained lots of members quickly and the direction wasn't always decided or clear.

Like Akb48, Nct or SRB14 had a more direct and connected with the public image. They were not exo who were meant to be distant to create intrigue. They all had a pretty nice and approachable personality.

AKB48 was very successful and had their own theater which would cut down on costs. The concepts were also more down to earth, they are more a performance troupe than an idol group. The focus is on entertaining the fans

Nct being a boy group inside of the kpop industry had a lot of competition and also they didn't have much of a pull besides having lots of members. They still had to travel and book venues and sellout stadiums to break even. Because boy bands are made to impress and show out. Of course lots of money is spent on expensive music videos, hotels, lots of staff, appearances at awards shows, top fashion for each member. Which is fine for a small group, but when the members keep growing and growing every year eventually getting into double digits; almost half the size of AKB48 in almost 1/3rd the amount of time, how is that sustainable?

It's not.

Simply put the more employees a company gains the more they spend paying their employees. If NCT is a company and the staff and members are the employees, then almost every year their costs increased. Even when they had good years, it was offset by the fact that their money would be paying for another unit. This is why s.m ent went so long without any other groups. And when they finally made a new group they took members already in NCT.

Add in the fact that there are some artists getting paid and sitting on the bench. They cannot afford to add them into a project or promote them. They can only bet on people they know will bring in money.

If they had brand new people that would be adding more and more people to the payroll, which at this point they likely can't afford. They would need a new project with already existing employees and have them double their workload--since they are the main ones bringing in money anyway, recycle in-house music and producers, and garner outside forces investing money on this dumpster fire to create something that would be profitable for the company. Send them to America so you can rack up the prices on tickets and merch cause Koreans sure won't go for this.

like man yall were so righteously angry about the senior writers getting fired via a tweet for 5 minutes and forgave them and started excusing the firings the moment info about the game started coming out. 'well, most of the writing was done, so it won't effect the game's quality' was an argument i saw an alarming amount of people use to justify and forgive the layoffs. idk. there's no excuse to me to fire all your senior writers via a twitter post they had to see in their own time, and i can't for the life of me understand how that is the unpopular thought on the situation.
