Can we agree Area Zero is the place in Pokemon ? The view is the best is SV for sure, the music so beautiful (thanks Toby Fox), and seeing all of the friends talking between them is perfect (especially Penny and Arven bickering).

Since I didn't finish the Artober at all, I've been thinking about posting some drawings of Scarlet/Violet, as I've been playing those in the last months a lot. Maybe slowly warm up again to the "arctober" drawings at some point...

Won't promise anything though, animating in-betweens is currently destroying my sanity and time

took on Crispin from the Indigo Disk DLC (ikik I'm way late to the party).

Man rocked up with an actually competitive sun team. Held items and all. I'm not looking up any teams so mileage and difficulty probably vary.

Got a water type? electric coverage, solar beam, sunny day on multiple pokemon. Ground/rock? Multiple ground immunities, rock resists, solar beam, ground coverage for rock types. Fire type? Same deal. Rock and ground coverage. All around solid choices.

Also, tera fire speed boost Blaziken with a fire type stomping tantrum to punish two turn moves (like dive/dig) as well as protecting to stall. Almost got wiped my first time challenging him. Used my in game team which in hindsight isn't really set up to handle fire types.

just finished pkmn scarlet after literal years of having it heres my review:

spoilers if you havent played it yet

- arvens mommy issues made me tear up more than im willing to admit. love that theyre being more aware of their majorly parental issues audience /j

- penny is such a geek and i love her and yes im biased bc she reminds me of my partner

- legit tho i feel like all the rivals recently have been blandish but i rlly liked penny and arvens characters

speaking of

- i dont know if this is a controversial take or not but i literally hate nemona

- AI SADA!?? i havent been genuinely surprised in a pokemon ending in FOREVER. i felt at least that it came together to be a good plot twist. all the endings coming together was better than i thought itd be

- i will always have my gripes about the designs for the recent starters but koraidon and the ancient pokemon or wtv are not ALL too bad

- im gonna shank nemona

- the little ending where they were all walking away with eachother afterwards was KINDA cute

- maybe i wont shank nemona she just annoys me oml

Nooo why r the new paradoxes raid events 😭. I haven’t had time to finish scarlet bc of school. Maybe i can join someone else’s raid to get it or something, idk how raids work

Also I’m not a huge fan of the new paradox forms, im hoping there’ll be something more to them bc the leaked ones had all 3 legendary dogs & the swords of justice

The legendaries for the dlc I think I’ll also need getting used to. But the designs of the characters r sick and the story reasons being school field trips is so cute

By the way, since the whole "Kieran was being controlled by 'Dokutaro' and that's how he was able to revive the Loyal Three" theory is dead in the water, yet people are still wondering how he managed to do that, it's because he had Ogerpon's mask with him when he punched the grave. Ogerpon's mask has Tera Crystals embedded in it. Earlier on at the Crystal Pool, it was established that the Tera Crystals in the water have the ability to bring back the dead.

He probably just accidentally brought them back to life when he made contact with the grave while holding the Tera Crystals/the lingering spirits of the Loyal Three were able to latch onto some of the energy of the Tera Crystals and revived themselves when he punched it

Hey so quick question: Which of the pokemon scavi storylines was your favorite? And if you had to pick a favorite character (gym leader, mc, teacher, or just random trainer) who would it be? For me I'd say starfall street and Penny!
