Okay so I'm not generally a sports person but I can't stop thinking about all the ways the foxes revolutionized exy. For example, the way their tiny team structure made them focus on endurance and coordination rather than brute force? Amazing. And related to that, the way that they adapted by training players to fill multiple positions? That must have had huge implications for how they understood other players needs and allowed for flexibility of they needed someone's specialty in a different position (see the final game). BUT ALSO the way Kevin and Neil specifically shook up the game was insane. Kevin being ambidextrous and using it to make his moves unpredictable. Using heavyweight racquets to put more strength behind their shots. Communicating only in French so opponents don't get any warning but they're still in sync with each other. I'll bet you anything other teams were scrambling to catch up and figure out how to play like the foxes did

Buzzardclaw's a whore you say ... My interest is peaked I love these types of gossips (In fiction)

Buzzardclaw is yet another Kit Save! WindClan is RIDICULOUSLY tiny, I had to SCRAPE this one up. Buzzardkit is mentioned in only a single page in Po3 Book 1: The Sight, where he is soothed by an unnamed queen who reveals his name. I decided that his mothers are Snapstorm and Stoneclaw, and the unnamed queen who soothed him was Snapstorm.

(THOUGH I am considering taking the unnamed queen and making her into a full character, tbh. I'm not kidding, this Clan is unacceptably small and it is ALL hands on deck. Maybe make her into a permaqueen type.)

WindClan NEEDED more sillies, because the majority of the cats in it are pretty harsh and serious, so I decided that this one was going to be sort of a hopeless romantic gossip girl type. He's really close with his Mi, Snapstorm, who's an Aftergathering regular at the Lake and likes trading. Because of her, Buzzardkit was getting acquainted with other cats from a young age and just kinda learned to play up how cute he is.

He grew up into a pretty kitty, too. Both of his parents are handsome mollies, and he managed to somehow get FOUR colors from between them. White, brown, black, and gold. It makes up for the fact he has very few scars, because he's a wuss.

He uses his charm and appearance to get people to do what he wants, but he has absolutely no ambition to follow up with this. What he wants is a nice blanket made of mole hide, or a good bit of gossip, or competitive scratchstone tips. Probably becomes a popular Honor Sire in his later years.

reading "some people are just in it for the money and fame" to be about tai is great, actually. imagine him being a young man with big dreams, seeing stardom in his horizon, wanting to be as popular and as cool as possible (is actually a dork)... and somewhere along the way he learns that not only is he not finding any joy from that, he's finding it from the smaller things; his own team, his closest friends, the people he now considers his family, and the thought of a quiet life, settling down with someone on a nice, quaint island perfect for raising a family

and he takes one look at raven branwen, the weirdest fucking girl at beacon, and goes "yeah, that one".

Price, who kisses the ring next to his dog tag before doing something Raven would consider stupid, whispers, “This one’s for you.”

Raven, who brushes and smooths over the surface of the ring when she needs to calm a nerve, runs her thumb along the imprints that say “no matter where” and whispers, “You would do this differently.”

The idea of them speaking to each other through rings, making promises, voicing opinions as if the other were truly there.

Maybe the sweetest moments were when their hands were interlaced, their rings bumping each other as they murmured into the night, talking about anything and everything until exhaustion crept up on them.

For a moment, both rings shine and glistened under the dim light, sharing each other’s thoughts and love.

The rings will always be there to look after what they had, what they have and what they will have.
