You can only get the Dead End in Day 4 by staying at Ren's apartment — the rest of your choices before that don't matter. I'd also pay closer attention to the black smoke and Ren's reaction towards it!

Ren disappears from the home screen because he promised to help the player out (and stop them from getting the Dead End again). Try replaying the game again from the beginning for a surprise!

"Unsent Memories" was another visual novel (initially being written by @10chimes / @unsentmemory, though the project has since been dropped and handed back to me /pos) and is set in the same universe as 14 Days With You. Its storyline and characters are completely separate from 14DWY, so you don't have to worry about them while playing 14DWY.

Ok, I recently wrote an essay [here] talking about the definition and duties of civil engineering as well as the ethics because of the brain rot @swordfright gave me with calling Dream Sam’s ultimate engineering project. So, because I actually am a civil engineer I took it upon myself to design the title and summary of quantities sheets just like I do at work for roads but with Dream as the project instead. And in honor of angst day sponsored by @sixteenth-day-event, I figured I’d share it because I feel like it kinda works for the prison of the mind prompt.

below are Triglycercule's Tips And Tricks for beating the puzzles and such :3 WARNING FOR SPOILERS OF COURSE HEHEHE

ways to avoid certain death:

DONT say you'd fight for your life when goner kid asks

DONT take the river person's boat

CLOSE the door flap right before you go through the bushes

AVOID ending up with the temmies

DO NOT talk to sans/horror (even though its tempting... i know i know)

DO NOT open the water valve until the color puzzle is solved

(there might be more but i can't remember as of now, feel free to add on and i'll add them!)

the two puzzles i personally struggled with the most were the bushes and the colors. for the bushes i assume you have to follow what the echo flowers and this map says

BUT PERSONALLY? i just figured out the way to the bushes by guessing. the pattern is LEFT RIGHT LEFT (and then you'll get to monster kid and be able to get sans's bone!) (if not you end up with the temmies and,,,,, aliza dies D:)

FOR THE COLOR PUZZLE you have to use the word searches given to you below:

the way you use these word searches to solve the color puzzle is to solve them and then the letters NOT used in the answers are the solutions! i solved them already so here they are

the order is BLUE RED GREEN!! input that into the water valve below sans that you unlock after returning the bone from monster kid to him and.........

I always forget how scary it is at night time at my childhood home (it’s a school now) that’s set far back in the forest & away from any roads

like I grew up here but I can’t go there alone at night because it feels like the killer could be hiding anywhere. I don’t think I was scared when I lived there? I mean I knew it was haunted but I was never scared of the ghosts & that’s not what I’m scared of now. it’s more that it’s isolated & being there alone at night feels like a scene from a slasher & I know it doesn’t get locked so I always imagine the killers is waiting around every corner or crouching in the weeds or woods outside. maybe it’s scary because no one lives there now….

Um. One quastion. Looking at the... everything going on with FR's lore situation right now.

W... Why haven't they hired a writer. Why don't they have a dedicated lore writer. Or even just someone for the short stories. Do they not have the money to afford more staff? Because otherwise I cannot wrap my head around why they don't have a dedicated writer.

It would solve ... many of their problems . Lore writing wouldn't have to be passed around haphazardly to all of them. And we could have like... consistent, well put together lore. By people who Can Write

so um. W. Why do they not have a writer. They're supposedly consulting a professional writer for the Auraboa lore rewrite (which has repeatedly had more stuff chucked into it, it seems, which is usually not a great sign for how a story is progressing) so like... why not just. Hire. A writer
