HALLELUJAH ART CRITIQUE WENT WELL FOR ONCE

#it was terrifying cause we had to get up in front of the class individually #usually we go in groups of four #but not this time #also we got a whole lot of freedom with this project #our professor gave us words to choose from #then told us to draw what we associated with them #I got grotesque and lovely #and actually had a lot of fun with it #my professor actually really liked it #and my classmates loved it #y’all my projects are NEVER loved or complimented #they’re the most critiqued ones #but today I hardly got any critiques #and the ones I got I recognized on my own beforehand but didn’t have the time to fix them #guess I’m actually improving!#yay!#trin rambles

YEAH!!! i love you

everyone should go and see The Wild Robot while its still in theaters actually. When people online or irl tell you it’s good they are NOT kidding. Dreamworks is out here getting me to shed tears in public over an animated goose and his robot mom. Support original animation concepts please, not just the big franchises that get advertised left right and center. I was checking some emotional responses for Laios and was curious if he ever cries at all or if he’s full cold sweat/upset expression guy… I don’t believe he ever full cries but he does very slightly tear up both times Falin is revived :’)

#ref #a lot of times when he’s really going through it he gets very grim and quite rather than outwardly expressive #which - and this is total conjecture - but I feel like in part that might be a thing he learned from his time w the military #idk why exactly I feel that way I guess it’s just how much his expression in the ‘yeah I got beat up by my classmates back then’ panel #reminds me of some of his expressions during the fight w Shuro #which feels like one of the top times I would expect him to push over into crying out of anger/frustration/hurt #anyway. I love Laois :’) my guy….
